Dimension X - "Mars Is Heaven" (1950)
Dimension X presents “Mars Is Heaven,” episode 14, originally broadcast on July 7, 1950. Adapted by Ernest Kinoy from Ray Bradbury’s celebrated short story, this NBC production stars Wendell Holmes as Captain John Black and Peter Capell as Dr. Horst.
In 1987, Captain Black leads an Earth expedition to Mars, where the crew emerges from heavy mist to find something no one expected: a welcoming small American town that appears preserved from the 1920s. Familiar streets, homes, and faces make the discovery both wondrous and deeply unsettling.
