- 1:20Don't forget to check out BelieveMeAchieved.com for
- 1:23more of my amazing, inspiring creations.
- 1:26Also check out Jason McAdamy, which you can
- 1:27get to from there as well, or just
- 1:29directly.
- 1:29We started doing something a few weeks ago,
- 1:31we take all the shows on Saturday, and
- 1:35I write about a 3,000 word article,
- 1:38and then I link all of the subtopics
- 1:41for each day, so you can always go
- 1:43back to the blog at Jason McAdamy, if
- 1:46you didn't know where to find them, it
- 1:47tells you the show, like for example, this
- 1:49week is a really good one, it's The
- 1:51Power of Steady Trust, Building Stability in Uncertain
- 1:55Times.
- 1:55You know, I think sometimes when we get
- 1:58uncertainty, it's a good thing, you know?
- 2:01Uncertainty has a lot of blessings in there,
- 2:03right?
- 2:04Our daily topic, let me get right to
- 2:05that, okay?
- 2:06What consists of series five, show number 28,
- 2:10episode number three?
- 2:11For those of you who don't remember how
- 2:13we do things, every Saturday we start off
- 2:15with a brand new master topic, which is
- 2:18a new show, so series five means we're
- 2:20in the fifth year, we're not finished with
- 2:22the fifth year, however, we're almost halfway through
- 2:24with the end of the year, we'll be
- 2:26done with series five, we'll be in series
- 2:27six.
- 2:28Show 28 is what we're on now, and
- 2:30we go from day one from Saturday all
- 2:32the way to our Friday, which becomes our
- 2:35day seven.
- 2:36We don't go Monday through Friday, that's just
- 2:38how we decided to do it.
- 2:39The Power of Steady Trust, Building Stability in
- 2:42Uncertain Times, and today it's about what consistency
- 2:46creates security.
- 2:49So welcome everyone once again, if I haven't
- 2:51welcomed you enough to Inspirations for Your Life,
- 2:53I am John C.
- 2:54Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 2:59podcast host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate student at
- 3:03Montgomery State University, passionate lifelong learner, and so
- 3:06grateful now to be a published author of
- 3:08Drained to Driven.
- 3:10Yes, so this week's master topic is The
- 3:12Power of Steady Trust.
- 3:14Building stability in uncertain times, trust isn't simply
- 3:18believing everything will work out exactly as we
- 3:20planned, it might be something even better.
- 3:23Trust in continuing to move forward even when
- 3:25the future isn't completely clear.
- 3:27Even when things may seem gray or things
- 3:30may seem what they're not, but they're something
- 3:34else.
- 3:35It is believing that today's choices we make
- 3:39matter even when tomorrow's rewards haven't yet appeared
- 3:43yet.
- 3:45So today's episode is what consistency creates security.
- 3:50When people hear the word security, oh my
- 3:52gosh, they like, they cringe.
- 3:54They often think about money, they think about
- 3:56careers, think about relationships or having all the
- 3:58answers.
- 3:59You know, what I've learned is you don't
- 4:00need to have all the answers, whether that
- 4:03be boyfriend, girlfriend, significant other, it doesn't matter.
- 4:06You don't need all the answers.
- 4:07You just need to be authentic in life.
- 4:09And you got to go with the flow,
- 4:11OK?
- 4:13You know, of course, there's respect and all
- 4:15that.
- 4:16But once somebody knows, you know, you're going
- 4:18with the flow and you're being respectful, just
- 4:20go fly, OK?
- 4:21In a good way, fly and enjoy the
- 4:24journey.
- 4:24See, those things may create temporary comfort for
- 4:27people.
- 4:27But the last thing security actually comes from
- 4:29something much deeper.
- 4:30Are you ready for me to tell you?
- 4:31It comes from knowing you can trust yourself.
- 4:34See, when you can trust yourself, other people,
- 4:38deja vu, they trust you and they want
- 4:41to trust you.
- 4:42See, that trust is earned.
- 4:43It is earned every morning you follow through.
- 4:46I've said what we do in private is
- 4:48actually what we wind up doing in public.
- 4:51Every promise you keep, every health habit you
- 4:54repeat, every difficult decision you make, every time
- 4:58you choose discipline over excuses, you're doing the
- 5:00right thing.
- 5:01And I've said to you guys that discomfort
- 5:04is where success lives.
- 5:06If you think success lives with discomfort, well,
- 5:08I'm sorry.
- 5:09You have to practice getting comfortable being uncomfortable.
- 5:11That's the name of the game.
- 5:13Consistency doesn't simply change your results.
- 5:16No.
- 5:17Consistency changes you.
- 5:20You need structure and you need consistency to
- 5:22be successful.
- 5:23So let's explore 30 powerful principles that will
- 5:27show why consistency creates security.
- 5:30Are you ready?
- 5:31All right.
- 5:32Number one, consistency builds emotional safety over time.
- 5:36And I think sometimes we fall into this
- 5:38emotional trap and we don't want to go
- 5:40any further because we make excuses, right, to
- 5:43where it is.
- 5:43We don't have to label something.
- 5:45It is what it is.
- 5:45Every time you keep a promise to yourself,
- 5:48you strengthen your relationship with yourself and with
- 5:51others many times.
- 5:52That repeated follow-through creates emotional safety because
- 5:56you begin believing that you can depend on
- 5:58your own decisions.
- 6:00I think that's a very important thing to
- 6:03understand.
- 6:05And, you know, when we can understand that,
- 6:07I think people have a better way of
- 6:10knowing that.
- 6:11And I can say to you guys, it's
- 6:14really important that you understand that.
- 6:16All right.
- 6:16Let me jump up to number two.
- 6:17Number two is repetition creates predictable outcomes.
- 6:20Life is never completely predictable.
- 6:22I'm sorry.
- 6:23It just isn't.
- 6:24But your habits can be more.
- 6:27That is, when you consistently repeat positive behaviors,
- 6:30the more reliable your results will become.
- 6:32I'm not going to tell you doing something
- 6:33once is going to yield you the diamonds.
- 6:35No, okay.
- 6:36After all, I want to share something with
- 6:38you.
- 6:38To make a diamond, does anybody know how
- 6:40hard it is to make a diamond?
- 6:42How do they make precious diamonds?
- 6:46I don't mean the ones in the lab,
- 6:48the zirconia ones.
- 6:49I don't mean that.
- 6:51So precious diamonds are either forged naturally deep
- 6:53within the earth over billions of years or
- 6:56grown in highly controlled laboratories.
- 6:58Those are zirconias, in a matter of weeks.
- 7:01Both types share the exact same chemical composition.
- 7:04Pure carbon atoms are arranged in a crystal
- 7:06lattice.
- 7:07But the ones that are in the earth,
- 7:09well, they're much more valuable.
- 7:11Okay.
- 7:12And even things like sea glass, right?
- 7:14But that's why diamonds are worth so much.
- 7:16You know, people say when you put that
- 7:18hard effort, you know, you can make a
- 7:21diamond, right?
- 7:22Number three, stability comes from daily structure.
- 7:26Structure provides direction when emotions become predictable.
- 7:32I think that's important there.
- 7:34Hey, Ryan, thanks so much for joining.
- 7:36Really appreciate that tonight.
- 7:38Always appreciate people joining us.
- 7:40We are live here this evening and we
- 7:42always do replay 24 hours a day.
- 7:44And we're also on TV.
- 7:45A daily routine gives your mind something dependable
- 7:48to return to, regardless of how you feel.
- 7:52And I think that's hard for a lot
- 7:54of people to once believe that it's hard.
- 7:58But I want to tell you that you
- 7:59can do this.
- 8:00You absolutely can do this.
- 8:02You have more power than you think you
- 8:03do.
- 8:03Your mind is something dependable to return to,
- 8:06regardless of how you may feel right now.
- 8:09It can just shift overnight.
- 8:12Number four, small actions create actions which are
- 8:16long-term.
- 8:17Most people underestimate the power of small victories.
- 8:21Reading a few pages, exercising for 20 minutes,
- 8:24or finishing one meaningful task all reinforce your
- 8:29confidence and accumulate into lasting self-trust.
- 8:33Pretty cool, right?
- 8:34Number five, you cannot skip repetition.
- 8:37It's the mother of skill, right?
- 8:38And expectability.
- 8:39You just can't do it.
- 8:40Everyone wants consistent results, but consistency requires repeated
- 8:46effort.
- 8:47The habits you repeat determine the life you
- 8:49eventually will experience.
- 8:51Keep doing the things you want to do
- 8:53and you will reach that level.
- 8:55You want to become a millionaire.
- 8:56You want to become great at a skill.
- 8:59Keep doing those habits.
- 9:01Those habits will turn inside to change and
- 9:04then the outside.
- 9:05A lot of people try to change their
- 9:06outside first, but that's where they go wrong.
- 9:08You want to change the inside and then
- 9:10the outside will follow.
- 9:12Number six, routine reduces decision fatigue.
- 9:16Every decision consumes mental energy.
- 9:18Strong routines eliminate unnecessary choices so your attention
- 9:22can be focused on what truly matters.
- 9:25Number seven, discipline creates internal security.
- 9:28Discipline isn't punishment.
- 9:30It is freedom.
- 9:31When you know you'll follow through regardless of
- 9:33your emotions, you stop depending on motivation and
- 9:36you build inner confidence.
- 9:37I said before that, you know, we can
- 9:39think about discipline and we can think about
- 9:42motivation.
- 9:43And motivation is great.
- 9:44Don't get me wrong.
- 9:45You want to lose weight.
- 9:46You want to do a million things.
- 9:47Motivation is wonderful.
- 9:49But the minute your attitude changes, your mood
- 9:51changes, your motivation level just kind of goes
- 9:55down.
- 9:56Your discipline, on the other hand, is what
- 9:58can keep pumping up motivation.
- 10:00Discipline is what will help you get through
- 10:02what I like to call the rainy season.
- 10:04We all have rainy seasons, right?
- 10:06Number eight, random effort creates unstable results.
- 10:11Occasional bursts of hard work may create temporary
- 10:14progress, but they rarely create lasting success.
- 10:18Random effort produces random outcomes.
- 10:20Consistent effort produces dependable growth.
- 10:24That's important, but a lot of you will
- 10:25miss that.
- 10:26Number nine, structure builds confidence.
- 10:28Confidence grows because your structure allows you to
- 10:31continue during difficult seasons.
- 10:35Your routine keeps moving even when your emotions
- 10:37don't.
- 10:39That's the real key, guys.
- 10:40Number 10, repeat action becomes identity.
- 10:45Every action casts a vote for the person
- 10:47you are becoming.
- 10:48The more often you repeat positive behaviors, the
- 10:51more naturally those behaviors become part of your
- 10:54own identity.
- 10:55And your identity is a big ingredient to
- 10:58what helps you become successful.
- 11:00Number 11, security is built through habits.
- 11:04Your future isn't built by your intentions alone.
- 11:06It is built by your habits.
- 11:07It needs intention, but that's not everything.
- 11:10Healthy habits create healthy outcomes long before anyone
- 11:14ever notices them.
- 11:16You know, we don't do something so somebody
- 11:17can notice.
- 11:18We do something for ourselves so we can
- 11:20become better.
- 11:22If we're doing something to get other people
- 11:23to notice, well, then we already missed the
- 11:26boat.
- 11:26We want to do something so we can
- 11:29become better versions of ourselves.
- 11:30Hence, the slogan BelieveMeAchieve.com, my brand.
- 11:34When you believe, you will achieve.
- 11:36You have to believe in yourself before others
- 11:38will believe in you.
- 11:39Number 12, inconsistency creates emotional instability.
- 11:42Your standards constantly change.
- 11:46Your confidence changes with them.
- 11:48Consistency calms the emotional highs and lowers the
- 11:51inconsistency that it does create, unfortunately.
- 11:55Number 13, predictability reduces anxiety.
- 12:00When you know what comes next, your mind
- 12:02spends less energy worrying about it, uncertainty.
- 12:05But also, knowing every little step can cause
- 12:08you to be OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder.
- 12:09So, there's a margin in there, right?
- 12:13For example, I go to the dentist's office
- 12:15and they do the cleaning as they always
- 12:17do and I always have great health.
- 12:19Well, they might have changed the way they're
- 12:20doing something.
- 12:21Like, wait a minute, why are you using
- 12:24that tool now?
- 12:25I know you normally use the Cavitron.
- 12:27What are you doing with that?
- 12:28And I'll ask a question like, well, I've
- 12:30been doing this on my mouth for so
- 12:31many years so I kind of know the
- 12:32process.
- 12:33Oh, well, we were doing this because there
- 12:35was tartar on this side and this tool
- 12:37would help me.
- 12:37Okay, just want to know because that hasn't
- 12:39been something you've ever done before.
- 12:41Oh, it's nothing, just we sometimes do that.
- 12:42Okay, just wanted to know.
- 12:44What comes next?
- 12:45Your mind spends less energy worrying about uncertainty.
- 12:49Predictable routines provide emotional stability during stressful seasons.
- 12:53We all get stressful seasons.
- 12:54Players get stressful seasons.
- 12:57Lots of people get stressful seasons.
- 12:59Number 14, systems outperform motivation.
- 13:02Motivation comes and goes.
- 13:04Systems, they stay.
- 13:05So, we have to take the time to
- 13:07build the system slowly and correctly from the
- 13:12bottom up.
- 13:13Let's talk about engineering for a moment.
- 13:16Engineering a building, okay?
- 13:18You know, there are a couple of ways
- 13:19you can build property.
- 13:21I'm going to talk about down the shore
- 13:22we built our property.
- 13:23So, one way is you can build on
- 13:25spread footings.
- 13:25Not very wise if the soil is going
- 13:27to be, you know, going all different directions.
- 13:31You also can build it on bricks.
- 13:33Also not very smart if you're going to
- 13:35be by a very high water table.
- 13:38How do we build it?
- 13:39We build it on pilings.
- 13:41So, when you build on pilings, you have
- 13:42a lot more work to do because now
- 13:43you have to get a piling engineer in
- 13:46there to figure out what size the pilings
- 13:48need to be, how proportionate they need to
- 13:52be from each other, the spacing.
- 13:54And are you going to sink them down
- 13:56the ground?
- 13:56Are you going to build a house atop
- 13:57it?
- 13:57Or are you going to have some around
- 13:59that the house gets built around?
- 14:00It all depends on the structure of the
- 14:01piling engineer.
- 14:02So, when you build and you have a
- 14:05system that works, which they've been doing pilings
- 14:07for many years, they've done it in bulkheads.
- 14:10We put pilings in our pool, in a
- 14:12high water table.
- 14:13The pilings around our pool kept our pool
- 14:16secure, even with the high water tables.
- 14:19A strong system carries you on the days
- 14:22when your motivation disappears.
- 14:24The system is like your discipline, all right?
- 14:27Good way to say that.
- 14:29Number 15, repetition builds mastery.
- 14:31Nobody becomes exceptional overnight.
- 14:34If you think they do, well, you're highly
- 14:36mistaken.
- 14:37Excellence is built through thousands of ordinary repetitions
- 14:41that most people will never, ever, ever see.
- 14:46Yes.
- 14:47The things that you do behind the scenes
- 14:49that nobody ever sees builds your foundation.
- 14:55Consistency removes the doubt, okay?
- 14:58Doubt often grows when we make promises to
- 15:01ourselves that we never keep.
- 15:04So, whether it's a small promise, a big
- 15:05promise, we need to keep it.
- 15:08Every time we follow through, we replace uncertainty
- 15:10with proof and remind ourselves we're capable and
- 15:13dependable.
- 15:14You see what happens when you make a
- 15:16promise to yourself, okay?
- 15:19And you don't do it.
- 15:21You're like, you feel like, you know what?
- 15:24And it's like, all right, it was just
- 15:26that one time.
- 15:26But the next time, oh, you know what?
- 15:27I can't do it this time.
- 15:29And before you know it, oh, I can't.
- 15:30And now you made three, four, five before.
- 15:32Oh, it's just.
- 15:32And then the whole thing just goes downhill,
- 15:34right?
- 15:34So, once you break it once, right?
- 15:37It's like a diet, too, right?
- 15:38People on a diet, like, oh, I'm just
- 15:40going to have it today.
- 15:41Okay, today's fine.
- 15:42Today's your cheat day.
- 15:43Oh, I got to have it tomorrow, too.
- 15:45Before you know it, you're doing it every
- 15:46darn day.
- 15:47All right, you get my point.
- 15:48Number 17, stability is earned through behavior.
- 15:52Stability is never something that simply appears like
- 15:56out of thin air.
- 15:57It is created by the choices, okay?
- 16:01We make repeatedly.
- 16:04Every positive behavior strengthens the foundation beneath our
- 16:08lives.
- 16:10Number 18, daily discipline compounds results.
- 16:13Small disciplines may not seem significant today, but
- 16:20they grow with us in time.
- 16:23It's like interest in a bank.
- 16:26Those few cents or dollars don't mean anything
- 16:28today, but over time, they could comp into
- 16:30the thousands or millions of dollars, right?
- 16:34That's the thing that gets everybody excited, is
- 16:35that compounding interest.
- 16:38Our disciplined actions compound into extraordinary results.
- 16:42This is cool stuff, guys.
- 16:45Number 19, structure replaces chaos.
- 16:48Without structure, life becomes reactive instead of intentional.
- 16:52And when we think about intentional, to be
- 16:54intentional, we need to be proactive.
- 16:56I used the example of the fire, right?
- 16:58When there's a fire, you want to be
- 16:59proactive.
- 17:00You want to think about what you should
- 17:01do before a fire.
- 17:02Hopefully, God forbid, you never have one, but
- 17:04you want to plan for it.
- 17:06You want to have the right smoke detectors.
- 17:07Check them frequently.
- 17:09You want to make sure you have the
- 17:10right fire extinguishers.
- 17:12You want to make sure you have the
- 17:13right escape bags so you can escape easily.
- 17:16You want to make sure you know your
- 17:17escape routine.
- 17:18How do you escape the house?
- 17:20How do you exit?
- 17:21Stop, drop, and roll.
- 17:22Do you feel the doors?
- 17:22What do you do?
- 17:23Practice that, all right?
- 17:25A well-designed routine provides direction when distractions
- 17:29compete for our attention.
- 17:32It goes, oh, I don't want to practice
- 17:34this.
- 17:35A lot of schools, I know when I
- 17:37was in grammar school and high school, they
- 17:38had all these fire drills.
- 17:40And even in college, they had these fire
- 17:41drills.
- 17:42Well, in college, they had a lot of
- 17:43fire drills that really weren't drills.
- 17:46They were people on the weekends that were
- 17:48somehow getting their curtains on fire and the
- 17:50toaster and all kinds of crazy things.
- 17:55And so when you plan, I remember the
- 17:58first time this happened, I hadn't had a
- 18:01plan.
- 18:01I was a freshman.
- 18:02Actually, no, I wasn't a freshman.
- 18:04I was a sophomore.
- 18:08And I was in this complex.
- 18:11They called it Regents, which I liked.
- 18:13Regents was like an upgrade from the dorms.
- 18:15And so I got in there through the
- 18:16lottery, so I was lucky.
- 18:18And Regents didn't have air conditioning, but it
- 18:21was still very nice.
- 18:22And it was living in like more of
- 18:24a condo, right, but not a cement-walled
- 18:28dorm like many are when you come as
- 18:30a freshman.
- 18:31And so I remember being in this place.
- 18:36And I remember it was actually one Friday
- 18:39night, the fire alarm went off.
- 18:42Okay, there we go.
- 18:45It happened again.
- 18:47I find myself rushing to have to get
- 18:49dressed to get out.
- 18:51So every night, I would have my jeans
- 18:55on the chair, shoes ready right there, jacket
- 19:00right next to the door, so I could
- 19:02literally throw my jeans on, throw my coat
- 19:05on, get out, and not take 10 minutes
- 19:09to try to get dressed.
- 19:11And after I did that for a while,
- 19:13there were a couple of fire drills.
- 19:14Well, they weren't drills.
- 19:15They were real fires.
- 19:16And then it didn't happen anymore.
- 19:17But now I was proactive.
- 19:20I wasn't reactive.
- 19:22People become stressful when they have to become
- 19:24reactive because that's when the danger is, right?
- 19:28If there's an issue with a dam, right?
- 19:31Anybody can try to solve the damage when
- 19:34the dam is broke, but it becomes harder,
- 19:36right?
- 19:38When the dam hasn't broke yet, we could
- 19:39think about ways we could fix it.
- 19:41Like there's a new technology out there now
- 19:43I was recently reading about where if a
- 19:45dam breaks, it uses the water pressure to
- 19:49actually cause this structure, this plastic structure, to
- 19:53actually inflate with just the pressure of the...
- 19:56It's actually a combination.
- 19:58I think it was plastics.
- 20:00It wasn't a bag.
- 20:01It was like a plastic.
- 20:01The water pressure causes the whole thing to
- 20:03actually go the other way so it blocks
- 20:05the water.
- 20:05So it's actually pretty cool.
- 20:08Number 20, security comes from control of habits.
- 20:13We cannot control everything around us, but we
- 20:16can control many of the habits that shape
- 20:17our days.
- 20:18You know, when we let go of things,
- 20:21okay, and I would never believe this many
- 20:23years ago, we gain more control.
- 20:25I don't know if you know that.
- 20:25When our habits become intentional, they create stability
- 20:29that outside circumstances cannot easily take away.
- 20:32Number 21, repetition builds trust in ourself.
- 20:36Every promise you keep to yourself strengthens your
- 20:39confidence.
- 20:39Every commitment you honor reminds you that you
- 20:42can depend on yourself.
- 20:44Stability is behavioral, not emotional.
- 20:47And waiting until you feel motivated often leads
- 20:52to inconsistency.
- 20:55Real stability comes from continuing to do what
- 20:57is right, regardless of how you feel.
- 20:59If you wait to say, you know what?
- 21:02I'm going to wait till I feel like
- 21:04doing this.
- 21:06You're never going to feel like doing this.
- 21:08You need to have the discipline to kick
- 21:10your butt.
- 21:11Number 23, systems create freedom.
- 21:14Good systems remove unnecessary decisions and free your
- 21:17mind to focus on what matters most.
- 21:20Freedom grows when your life is supported by
- 21:22strong systems.
- 21:23So you get my message?
- 21:24Start creating some systems, guys.
- 21:26Don't, you know, jerk around.
- 21:27Create some systems now.
- 21:29Take your time to build them.
- 21:30Experiment with them.
- 21:31Get the ones you like, refine them, and
- 21:34keep using them over and over again.
- 21:36Number 24, routine is emotional grounding.
- 21:40Okay?
- 21:40During seasons of uncertainty, familiar routines become emotional
- 21:44anchors.
- 21:45Simple morning routine, daily exercise, or intentional planning
- 21:49remind your mind that not everything is out
- 21:52of control.
- 21:53I'll give you one of mine.
- 21:54So every morning when I get up, first
- 21:57thing I do, well, before I have breakfast,
- 21:59before I take my shower, I do about
- 22:02120 seconds worth of holding a plank and
- 22:07holding my chest and everything in.
- 22:10And squeezing.
- 22:12And so I do that.
- 22:14And then I give an extra five seconds
- 22:15to make sure I haven't rushed it.
- 22:17And then usually at night, I will do
- 22:20some lifts or I'll do some crunches.
- 22:22And then I'll also do another 120 seconds.
- 22:24That is something I have to do when
- 22:26I get up.
- 22:27I have to do in the morning.
- 22:28It was, the other night, it was July
- 22:304th.
- 22:33And that was a long 4th of July
- 22:35because we had July 3rd was starting.
- 22:37Went to hear about the ball dropping in
- 22:40Washington, D.C., which was amazing on July
- 22:433rd.
- 22:43And then they did the fireworks, which was
- 22:45an amazing, spectacular thing of the fireworks.
- 22:48It was the largest fireworks display I've ever
- 22:50seen.
- 22:51It was amazing.
- 22:52It was immense.
- 22:53But when these things happen, I want to
- 22:59go to bed after that, right?
- 23:01So normally since it's late, I'm going to
- 23:03just brush my teeth and go to bed.
- 23:05I didn't do that.
- 23:06I said I've got to brush my teeth,
- 23:07but then I've got to do my planks.
- 23:09I've got to do my push-ups or
- 23:11my lifts.
- 23:12And then do my planks and then go
- 23:14to bed.
- 23:15It was after 2 or 3 o'clock
- 23:16in the morning, but I had to do
- 23:17that before I went to bed.
- 23:20Intentional planning reminds your mind that it's not
- 23:23right now about everything being out of control.
- 23:27You're getting control.
- 23:29Number 25, repetition builds resilience.
- 23:31Every challenge you face prepares you for the
- 23:35next one.
- 23:36Repeat effort teaches us that setbacks are temporary
- 23:39and growth is always possible.
- 23:40We're going to see rain, right?
- 23:42But the sun will come out tomorrow.
- 23:45You know that song, right?
- 23:47Number 26, consistency reduces fear.
- 23:50Fear often grows when we stop taking action.
- 23:53Every step forward weakens fear and strengthens confidence.
- 23:58Number 27, structure improves clarity.
- 24:02When your life is structured, guess what?
- 24:04Your mind suddenly becomes less cluttered.
- 24:07You spend less energy deciding what to do
- 24:09next and more energy doing meaningful work.
- 24:13Number 28, discipline creates reliability.
- 24:16People trust those who consistently follow through.
- 24:19They develop good reputation.
- 24:21People want to be around those people.
- 24:23Discipline turns good intention into dependable actions that
- 24:25others can count on.
- 24:27People want to be around others and with
- 24:29others.
- 24:30People you can count on, you can depend
- 24:31on, right?
- 24:33Call that trust.
- 24:35Call that accountability.
- 24:36Number 29, habit design shapes outcomes.
- 24:41Your future is being designed by the habits
- 24:45you practice today.
- 24:47By intentionally designing your routines, you begin designing
- 24:50your future.
- 24:51You're creating discipline.
- 24:54Number 30, guys, security is built one action
- 24:58at a time.
- 25:00Security is not created by extraordinary achievement.
- 25:03It is built through thousands of ordinary actions
- 25:07repeated with purpose and consistency.
- 25:13So guys, as we get ready to close
- 25:15today's show in this episode, remember that security
- 25:19is not something you discover.
- 25:22It's something you create.
- 25:24We weren't born with security.
- 25:27We build it, we create it.
- 25:28Every consistent action you take today is preparing
- 25:32you for the opportunities, challenges, and successes of
- 25:36tomorrow.
- 25:37That's the truth.
- 25:38So ladies and gentlemen, my advice to you
- 25:40is this, keep showing up, keep building healthy
- 25:43habits, keep trusting the process even when the
- 25:45results seem small or futile.
- 25:48One day you're going to look back and
- 25:49realize that, hey, wow, the consistency you almost
- 25:53overlook became the very thing that transformed your
- 25:56entire life.
- 25:57I thank you ladies and gentlemen for joining
- 25:59me today on Inspirations for Your Life.

- 26:28I think a lot of people, when they
- 26:30hear the word consistency, they do it three
- 26:33times like, okay, it didn't work.
- 26:35You only did it three times.
- 26:37Yeah, I did three times.
- 26:39That's not being consistent.
- 26:40Consistency is doing it until you forget the
- 26:42number of times you're doing it.
- 26:44We have a saying in the Roman Catholic
- 26:46religion, forgive 70 times 70.
- 26:52So when I tell people, how many times
- 26:54did you forgive?
- 26:55I only forgive people 70 times 70.
- 26:58They look at me like, huh?
- 27:02Yeah, what is that?
- 27:03That's 4,900 times that I don't forgive
- 27:05anymore.
- 27:08Well, what we're trying to tell people is
- 27:10that really, you keep forgiving forever.
- 27:14Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, remember this
- 27:16consistency creates confidence.
- 27:19Confidence creates stability.
- 27:21And stability creates the freedom to become the
- 27:23very best version of yourself.
- 27:24And that's all we want here, isn't it?
- 27:26Keep trusting your journey, ladies and gentlemen.
- 27:28Keep investing in yourself every day.
- 27:30And keep living a life that inspires not
