- 0:03Speaker 1: be in town tomorrow.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We are so excited to have him.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Before he opens up for Cole Wetzel at the Fisher's
- 0:10Speaker 1: Event Center for Annie and Cole Up Close concert.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Great place to see a show, too.
- 0:15Speaker 4: I feel like I think I've seen the Fuel play, which,
- 0:21Speaker 4: by the way, have some new concession items that my
- 0:25Speaker 4: friends were sending me.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Picture interest.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Yeah, like the beer hockey stick. Definitely interested in that.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I've seen the Freight Play, the Ignite Play. I've seen
- 0:33Speaker 4: a concert there.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I love that venue. I think it's great.
- 0:35Speaker 1: You have seen everything there. I've only ever seen hockey.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I've never seen anything else there. And hockey was super cool.
- 0:41Speaker 1: So I can't imagine that everything else would be really
- 0:43Speaker 1: cool there too. If you did not get an invite, well,
- 0:47Speaker 1: good news. We're going to post as much as we
- 0:48Speaker 1: can on our socials at Annie and Cole at Hank FM.
- 0:52Speaker 1: And we have another sort of like big free concert
- 0:55Speaker 1: that you can get into coming up.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Less than a month away.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yeah, we are.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Thanksgiving is not that far away. You've got to get
- 1:02Speaker 4: your tickets, though.
- 1:03Speaker 3: They are free.
- 1:03Speaker 4: The next ticket drop with Moondrops Distillery is tomorrow. Total
- 1:07Speaker 4: Wine and More and Nora from Fort Dix.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Cole, you tried to get a winner for New Country
- 1:11Speaker 1: Cash yesterday. We did not get a winner.
- 1:13Speaker 2: That means... You love to say it.
- 1:15Speaker 3: $ 1, 000 Thursday today.
- 1:17Speaker 1: We got $ 1, 000 in the jackpot. 8.50, we'll tell you
- 1:20Speaker 1: what time to win some money. We're going to get
- 1:22Speaker 1: you to name that scream coming up.
- 1:25Speaker 2: 6.35-ish for your Indie Scream Park passes.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We've got Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets coming up after 7. And
- 1:31Speaker 1: Little Big Town tickets just after 9 with a new
- 1:35Speaker 1: country keyword.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And a very special guest today. joining us this morning
- 1:39Speaker 2: to put us in our place.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Yeah, this is going to be the second time we
- 1:42Speaker 4: have done this with my niece, Quinley, who is 11
- 1:45Speaker 4: years old. And it's What's Cool with Quinley. She will
- 1:48Speaker 4: let us know why we're lame, basically.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Just after seven, we'll get to that.
- 1:54Speaker 1: We're Indies number one for New Country, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 1:58Speaker 2: That is the new one from Blake Shelton.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You can take our new music survey to have a
- 2:02Speaker 1: little bit of time to get your name in the
- 2:03Speaker 1: running for 250 bucks.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It's a thank you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: We randomly select someone who has taken the survey and
- 2:11Speaker 1: writes you a check for money. We also have $ 1, 000
- 2:13Speaker 1: up for grabs today. $ 1, 000 Thursday, 8.50. We'll tell you
- 2:17Speaker 1: what time you can win New Country cash. It's Annie
- 2:19Speaker 1: and Cole.
- 2:20Speaker 3: They did what? There is a new dating app. I
- 2:25Speaker 3: feel like there's always a new dating app. Of course
- 2:26Speaker 3: there is.
- 2:26Speaker 4: There's a new dating app that allows other people to
- 2:31Speaker 4: vote on potential matches.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Kind of like the old game show Love Connection.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I kind of like it.
- 2:37Speaker 4: The daters can see which options got the highest percentage
- 2:41Speaker 4: of votes.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Is this just anybody or just people you know?
- 2:46Speaker 4: I would imagine it is. I don't really know how
- 2:49Speaker 4: I never used one of the dating apps. I don't
- 2:52Speaker 4: know how the other ones work. But my guess is
- 2:54Speaker 4: if two people pop up as a potential match, they
- 2:59Speaker 4: would be sent to you as the voter.
- 3:01Speaker 5: OK.
- 3:02Speaker 4: And then if you were to vote them higher, then
- 3:05Speaker 4: they would get some kind of notification that tells them
- 3:07Speaker 4: like you and this other person have like a high
- 3:10Speaker 4: percentage of votes for you.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I don't know, man. Do you want to?
- 3:16Speaker 1: I mean, I guess if you haven't had any luck
- 3:20Speaker 1: picking your own dates, it also feels.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Like you're really inviting other people into your business. Because like,
- 3:26Speaker 4: what if you as a voter get like really invested
- 3:28Speaker 4: in this couple that you're like, I made this happen
- 3:30Speaker 4: because I voted for them. And now I heard they're
- 3:33Speaker 4: going to a date over here. And I'm also going
- 3:36Speaker 4: to go sit at the bar.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Danny and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 3:43Speaker 2: We're in.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Halloween month, and that means it's time for you to
- 3:56Speaker 1: visit Indie Scream Park, and we are helping you out
- 3:59Speaker 1: with tickets in.
- 4:00Speaker 4: A four-pack of tickets, too. Just got to name that
- 4:04Speaker 4: scream this morning. You're going to text your answer to us, 317-663-9797.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Ron, are you okay? The man-punted Baxter!
- 4:15Speaker 6: Calm down.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I hit him with a burrito! The man-punted Baxter!
- 4:22Speaker 2: What a glass cage of emotions.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I love that movie so much.
- 4:29Speaker 5: 317-663-9797.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Can you name that scream this morning? Ron, are you okay?
- 4:34Speaker 2: The man put it back, sir.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I hit him with a burrito.
- 4:41Speaker 1: 97.1 Hank FM giving you a chance to win your
- 4:44Speaker 1: way in to Indie Scream Park, which weirdly I've never
- 4:49Speaker 1: been to before.
- 4:53Speaker 3: It's scary.
- 4:54Speaker 4: 317-663-9797 is the phone number.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Can you name that scream this morning? Ron, are you okay?
- 5:02Speaker 3: The man put it back, sir.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I hit him with a burrito. We both started quoting lines.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Milk was a bad choice.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I'm going to go watch that clip now from... Anchorman.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Anchorman is the answer we are looking for.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, a classic. Congratulations to our winner today.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Got another chance to be the winner tomorrow.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets still coming up here pretty soon, just
- 5:31Speaker 4: after seven of your country keywords.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Annie and Cole.
- 5:35Speaker 6: Hi, my name is Quinley.
- 5:37Speaker 2: This is so cool.
- 5:38Speaker 6: It's cool.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Pretty cool.
- 5:39Speaker 6: And this is What's Cool with Quinley. 97.1 Hank FM.
- 5:43Speaker 3: We are back. Round number two of What's Cool with Quinley.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Last time we had you in, we learned about squishies.
- 5:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 5:54Speaker 3: And neatos.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Yep.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I think a little bit about dumplings.
- 5:57Speaker 3: A little bit about dumplings.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Are those still cool?
- 6:00Speaker 6: Yes.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I like that Quinley, though, is so cool that it's
- 6:05Speaker 1: taken us this long to get her back in.
- 6:07Speaker 3: It's hard to get her scheduled.
- 6:08Speaker 6: I know, right?
- 6:09Speaker 3: So cool. OK, tell us what you got for us today.
- 6:12Speaker 3: What is cool right now?
- 6:14Speaker 6: OK, so honestly, I'm going to tell you guys what's
- 6:18Speaker 6: not cool to say.
- 6:19Speaker 2: OK, I need this.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I know you guys.
- 6:26Speaker 4: OK.
- 6:27Speaker 6: OK, first of all. Don't say 6-7. Okay? That is
- 6:32Speaker 6: so last year.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It comes with the hand movement thing, too, right? We're
- 6:37Speaker 3: done with 6-7.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Yeah, it's don't say it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Do we have a new thing to replace that?
- 6:41Speaker 5: No.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Not yet.
- 6:42Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:42Speaker 6: Not yet.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Just don't say it.
- 6:44Speaker 3: We're working on it. No more 6-7. Okay, good. What
- 6:47Speaker 3: else you got?
- 6:47Speaker 6: Don't say Ohio Riz.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I never even heard that to begin with. I completely
- 6:52Speaker 3: missed Ohio Riz. Is that what you said? Ohio Riz?
- 6:56Speaker 6: Yeah, just don't say it.
- 6:57Speaker 3: What did that mean?
- 6:58Speaker 6: It just means like you're so cool and you got
- 7:00Speaker 6: the aura and stuff.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:03Speaker 4: And yeah, I know we're going to, we're going to
- 7:05Speaker 4: do a quick vocab lesson.
- 7:07Speaker 1: First of all, I don't know if I've ever used
- 7:09Speaker 1: the word aura correctly.
- 7:11Speaker 3: That was what I was going to say too. And
- 7:13Speaker 3: that just means like your overall like vibe.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Your aura.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 7:18Speaker 3: So we're out on six, seven. We're on Ohio Riz.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Anything else?
- 7:24Speaker 6: Okay, now I'm going to tell you what you should
- 7:26Speaker 6: be saying.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I need a pen and paper.
- 7:29Speaker 6: You should be saying brownie batter done.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And it has to be said in a specific way.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Do it again for me.
- 7:42Speaker 6: Brownie batter done.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Okay, and that's brownie batter done.
- 7:46Speaker 2: No, you didn't say it right.
- 7:47Speaker 3: No, I wanted to make sure it was clear with
- 7:48Speaker 3: the words that she was saying.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But I think you should say it correctly.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Brownie batter done. done what is that from i.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Don't know okay did you just come in here just
- 8:02Speaker 5: first of all are these real things are you just
- 8:03Speaker 5: trying to make your uncle say things these are real things.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Well where does that come from and in what circumstances
- 8:11Speaker 4: would we use that.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Uh it comes from tiktok and youtube and kids.
- 8:17Speaker 4: When would you use it like you're hanging out with
- 8:19Speaker 4: your friends and then this thing happens which makes you
- 8:22Speaker 4: say that phrase You.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Can just like start talking and you can go, patty, patter, done.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Done.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Done.
- 8:32Speaker 6: Done. Done.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Mic drop. Is mic drop still a thing?
- 8:35Speaker 6: No. No.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I don't think it ever was a thing.
- 8:39Speaker 4: It's been gone for so long.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Stop saying six, seven.
- 8:44Speaker 3: You are in... Fifth grade?
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You're like the big kid in school now.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Yeah, just don't say it like that.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Brownie, batter, Don, Cole.
- 8:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Wait, what did you score last time? Cool factor. You
- 8:59Speaker 2: were like in.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Seven and a half, maybe?
- 9:02Speaker 2: Has he gone up or down in cool?
- 9:05Speaker 6: Down.
- 9:07Speaker 4: What?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Ooh, that was serious. I don't think I've gone down.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You're wearing a dad hat, so.
- 9:11Speaker 6: Zero out of ten.
- 9:14Speaker 3: That's just not possible.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I'm glad I'm over here.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yeah, but, like, you're just not that cool. Okay.
- 9:24Speaker 5: All right.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Well, thanks for coming in, I guess.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, you're welcome.
- 9:31Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:32Speaker 3: We love you. We're glad that you could come in.
- 9:33Speaker 4: We learned what is cool and, more importantly, what is
- 9:36Speaker 4: not cool and what's cool with Quinley.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yes. Eddie and Cole.
- 9:41Speaker 1: If you are not following Ella Langley on TikTok, please,
- 9:45Speaker 1: please do it. It's Annie and Cole 97.1 Hank FM.
- 9:48Speaker 1: She had shared this video of her before going on stage.
- 9:52Speaker 1: She's talking to all the members of her tour and
- 9:54Speaker 1: they're voting on what Halloween costumes they should do this year.
- 9:58Speaker 1: The theme is either Toy Store or Wizard of Oz
- 10:01Speaker 1: and you got a chance to vote she said she'll
- 10:04Speaker 1: provide the costumes she just needs to know what theme
- 10:07Speaker 1: the tour is going with.
- 10:08Speaker 4: What would you go I I have a thought I
- 10:14Speaker 4: I have one that I would pick I feel like.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Toy Story has more characters That you could dress up
- 10:20Speaker 1: as if you have a big tour.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't know. You know, growing up, Dorothy was it.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I would have said Toy Story.
- 10:28Speaker 5: See?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Give me Toy Story. I still haven't watched Five yet.
- 10:31Speaker 4: It's on Disney Plus, right? I haven't gotten to it yet.
- 10:33Speaker 2: The band voted Toy Story.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 1: By the way, she has a show, I think, in
- 10:37Speaker 1: Minneapolis or on Halloween. So that's when the costumes will
- 10:41Speaker 1: be debuted. If you're going to that show or maybe
- 10:44Speaker 1: now you're like, I need to get to Minneapolis and
- 10:46Speaker 1: do that show.
- 10:47Speaker 2: It could work for you.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Annie and Cole want to know. Your house has to
- 10:54Speaker 4: be set up in a specific way for this to work.
- 10:57Speaker 4: My house doesn't work like this. I don't think yours
- 11:00Speaker 4: does either. But more and more people are building what
- 11:03Speaker 4: they're calling Costco doors in their homes. It's basically a
- 11:06Speaker 4: door where you can pull into your garage and unload
- 11:09Speaker 4: your groceries straight from your garage.
- 11:12Speaker 3: You just open this door like a shortcut into your pantry.
- 11:15Speaker 1: This would assume that you have a pantry, first of all,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and it would assume, yeah, that it's connected.
- 11:20Speaker 3: It's connected.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Ours goes, our garage walks into our mudroom.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Right. We have a townhouse, so.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 3: We need it to go up.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Pulling a lever system going up there.
- 11:34Speaker 4: But it made me think, because a lot of people
- 11:36Speaker 4: are saying it's their new favorite part of their house.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Do you have a favorite part of your house?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Immediately, I think about our sunroom, which makes me feel
- 11:43Speaker 1: like I'm rich. to say I have a sunroom. Pretty
- 11:46Speaker 1: standard in the neighborhood that I live in that all
- 11:48Speaker 1: these houses have this. But we put our old couch
- 11:52Speaker 1: in the sunroom now and so I like to sit
- 11:54Speaker 1: there and read a book. My dogs love to sit
- 11:56Speaker 1: on like Chase and sunbathe. I think it's the perfect room.
- 12:01Speaker 4: We put our old couch in our basement that has
- 12:05Speaker 4: a bar set up and kind of all of my
- 12:08Speaker 4: sports memorabilia hung. It's where I play video games. Got
- 12:11Speaker 4: a big TV down there. So I think what I'm
- 12:15Speaker 4: learning from both of us is that your favorite place
- 12:18Speaker 4: in the house is wherever the old couch is.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yes, it's nice and broken in. It just fits you right.
- 12:23Speaker 6: You know?
- 12:24Speaker 2: You're right. I didn't even think about that.
- 12:27Speaker 4: What is your favorite spot in the house or where
- 12:29Speaker 4: is your old couch at? 317-663-9797.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Do you really want to know? Annie and Cole want
- 12:32Speaker 3: to know. What is your favorite part of your house?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Phone number is 317-663-9797 on the Armory Air text line.
- 12:44Speaker 4: This one says the kitchen. When we moved, we moved
- 12:47Speaker 4: into a house with my dream kitchen and I love
- 12:50Speaker 4: cooking in it. I am not a good cook.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Me neither.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The kitchen means nothing to me. I appreciate that it
- 12:56Speaker 1: does to you, though. But the one thing that I
- 12:58Speaker 1: want in a kitchen, if I eventually ever get one
- 13:00Speaker 1: of these. It's how I know that I've made it
- 13:03Speaker 1: big time. It's not the sunroom that I love. It's
- 13:05Speaker 1: if I get one of those little things over the
- 13:07Speaker 1: stove that fills your pot with water.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Oh, those are so cool. I, at that.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Point, I think I will have made all of the
- 13:16Speaker 1: right decisions in life.
- 13:18Speaker 3: This one says the couch, basically my second bed. Bed
- 13:21Speaker 3: is a good place too.
- 13:22Speaker 6: You know what?
- 13:23Speaker 2: Bed might've been up there for me as well. Annie
- 13:27Speaker 2: and Cole.
- 13:27Speaker 6: I know you're mad. I know you're upset. Listen.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Are you mad?
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm very mad!
- 13:35Speaker 6: 97.1 Hank FM.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Why do you keep taking things away? And then, like,
- 13:40Speaker 1: years later, you're like, oh, yeah, this is cool again.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Let's bring it back. Did you see that Bose is
- 13:46Speaker 1: now selling wired headphones?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Wired earbuds.
- 13:50Speaker 3: No, thank you. I don't need that. Are they expensive?
- 13:53Speaker 3: If they're, like, way cheaper, then, okay.
- 13:57Speaker 2: You know, I'm not sure.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I didn't look at the price.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That would be the reason why I would be interested
- 14:01Speaker 4: in it if they were significantly cheaper. $ 99.
- 14:03Speaker 2: That's not cheap enough.
- 14:06Speaker 1: 11 years after its last wired pair announcing Bose noise-canceling
- 14:12Speaker 1: wired earbuds for $ 99.
- 14:13Speaker 2: That's not cheap enough.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They plug directly into your phone via USB-C because we
- 14:18Speaker 1: don't have headphone plugs anymore on our phones because you
- 14:21Speaker 1: took those away as well.
- 14:24Speaker 3: You know how many times I was.
- 14:27Speaker 4: working out or doing something active with wired headphones and
- 14:29Speaker 4: I would rip them out of my ears or I
- 14:31Speaker 4: would rip the phone out of my pocket.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very annoying.
- 14:36Speaker 1: However, I will say that a lot of things that
- 14:38Speaker 1: we get rid of, we then immediately went back. I
- 14:40Speaker 1: saw someone post this one and it's so true. You
- 14:43Speaker 1: ever like look to watch a very specific movie? And
- 14:47Speaker 1: you have like 18 different streaming services. But for some reason,
- 14:50Speaker 1: the one movie you want to watch is not on
- 14:52Speaker 1: that streaming service. And you're like, okay, well, if I
- 14:54Speaker 1: had my DVD collection or my VHS collection, I could
- 14:57Speaker 1: just pop.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It in and watch it. But we got rid of
- 14:59Speaker 2: those two.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Annie and Cole.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Weekday mornings 6 to 10 on 97.1 Hank FM.
