- 0:33Speaker 2: week from Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, twelve days from now, obviously,
- 0:41Speaker 2: Jelly Roll at Moody Center on November nineteenth. This is
- 0:44Speaker 2: how it works to have a chance to win. If
- 0:49Speaker 2: you don't already have it iHeartRadio app, download it on

- 1:10Speaker 2: a little white microphone on it. Tap that red button
- 1:14Speaker 2: with a white microphone and then you just leave us
- 1:16Speaker 2: some message. It can be up to thirty seconds, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: don't have to be thirty seconds. It'll be five seconds
- 1:20Speaker 2: if you want just don't go over thirty. Would you
- 1:22Speaker 2: leave a message saying, Hey, yeah, I was hearing on
- 1:24Speaker 2: Craigway Show. You guys were giving away tickets Jelly Roll.
- 1:26Speaker 2: The keyword today is roll roll, just like jelly roll roll.
- 1:32Speaker 2: That's the keyword. And you have to say that in
- 1:35Speaker 2: the message and say I was listening to Craigway Show
- 1:37Speaker 2: or had to mention the keyword role. I want to
- 1:39Speaker 2: be in the contest. You're You're inered at that point.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So it's as simple as that. So hopefully you'll take
- 1:46Speaker 2: advantage of the opportunity and maybe be able to win
- 1:52Speaker 2: a pair of tickets to see Jelly Roll on November
- 1:55Speaker 2: the nineteenth at Moody Center. Okay, give us a little
- 1:59Speaker 2: NBA review from last night, Kim, Starting with your team,
- 2:05Speaker 2: the Oklahoma City Thunder who lost for the first time
- 2:08Speaker 2: after starting the season seven to zero.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But they fell to the Denver Nuggets last night. A
- 2:13Speaker 1: good game, getting out to the very end. Okay, see,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I had a chance to tire or win it. Julian
- 2:18Speaker 1: Straw through with the block on Shay. But yeah, capped
- 2:21Speaker 1: off a tough little road stretch for Oka. See, they
- 2:26Speaker 1: played at Denver last night. They were home for Orlando,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but then they played at LA at Portland. So it's
- 2:33Speaker 1: like four games in a span of I had a
- 2:36Speaker 1: seven eight days and you know, you play in that altitude,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, I think there's a little bit of a
- 2:41Speaker 1: tired effect or the second half of that game, Oka
- 2:44Speaker 1: see looked a little bit more lethargic than Denver did.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But Russell Westbrook had a Russell Westbrook prime type game.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Jolkic played well. So if you're going to get you know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: twenty four points out of Westbrook, he's gonna shoot fifty
- 2:57Speaker 1: percent or higher from beyond the three point line, good
- 3:02Speaker 1: chance that team is gonna win. So a tough loss,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but okay, see he gets much needed three days off
- 3:09Speaker 1: before a showdown with Golden State later this week. In
- 3:13Speaker 1: Golden State, speaking of Craig.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah, let's let's go to that because two things. First
- 3:20Speaker 2: of all, the fan base thing. You notice the uniforms
- 3:23Speaker 2: the Warriors are wearing these days. Have you seen that?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Is it the old phil Francisco It's really the old
- 3:30Speaker 2: Philadelphia Warriors jersey. It's white with the gold trim and
- 3:35Speaker 2: red trim and Warriors in red block print capital lettering
- 3:41Speaker 2: outlined in blue. Now I think they had them. They
- 3:43Speaker 2: kept on that their first year or two in San
- 3:45Speaker 2: Francisco before they went to just exclusively blue and yellow.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But that's really their Philadelphia Warriors uniforms. They've been wearing
- 3:52Speaker 2: those lately and it's been doing them well. How about
- 3:53Speaker 2: them going into Boston. And we're gonna get into a
- 3:56Speaker 2: couple of things here about teams and players feeling a
- 3:59Speaker 2: little bit of tea. Yeah, so let's first start with
- 4:04Speaker 2: Golden State in Boston. How about the Celtics players wearing
- 4:07Speaker 2: the Team USA. I guess what would you call warm
- 4:12Speaker 2: ups the warm up tops To make a point at
- 4:16Speaker 2: Steve Kerr about hey, hey, you should have played our guy,
- 4:20Speaker 2: Jason Tatum Moore should have played him? Hey, I think
- 4:23Speaker 2: they did okay the way he did it, I think
- 4:27Speaker 2: they did okay. And then, by the way, if the
- 4:30Speaker 2: Celtics and they are still the best team in the league,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I don't deny that for a second. They're still the
- 4:35Speaker 2: team to beat. They are the defending champions. But if
- 4:38Speaker 2: they needed any reminders of why Team USA won, it's
- 4:42Speaker 2: because the guy who helped Team USA win did it
- 4:45Speaker 2: to them last night, Steph Curry.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Great point, Craig's watching the pregame showing ESPN last night,
- 4:53Speaker 1: Richard Jefferson and a few other people who I don't know,
- 4:56Speaker 1: because they changed their lineup every three months. That's ridiculous.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Bring please, bring back Jeff Van Gundane. But they're pushing
- 5:04Speaker 1: this whole Jason Tatum first Steve Kerr thing. And this is,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you know, ESPN's turned into the first take thing where
- 5:12Speaker 1: it's like every segment has to have a scorching hot
- 5:15Speaker 1: take that will get clicks and views on Twitter.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And it's like they're the one who walks in and
- 5:19Speaker 2: throws the stink bomb in the room and.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Walks exactly exactly. So it's hard to really take these
- 5:24Speaker 1: pregame shows with too much a grain of salt. I
- 5:27Speaker 1: guess it's the correct phrase there. But they're pushing the
- 5:30Speaker 1: Tatum st Steve Kurr thing, and you know, maybe there
- 5:34Speaker 1: actually is some animosities from Jason Tatum, definitely from Jalen Brown.
- 5:39Speaker 1: But to your point, Craig, Way, the Team USA won
- 5:42Speaker 1: the gold medal. They won. They won. So when people
- 5:47Speaker 1: are saying, yeah, Jason Tatum should be upset, Okay, maybe
- 5:50Speaker 1: you should have played better, he did not deserve to
- 5:53Speaker 1: be in the starting lineup or close any of those
- 5:55Speaker 1: games out because he was not one of the five
- 5:58Speaker 1: best players on that team. In the argument for Jalen Brown,
- 6:03Speaker 1: if Jaylen Brown's on the team, do we know they
- 6:05Speaker 1: win gold? We know what happens if he wasn't on
- 6:07Speaker 1: the team, they win gold, because they won the gold medal.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We've seen it, and how many times by the way
- 6:12Speaker 1: we heard this phrase, this team was not constructed.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Jalen Brown was his. It wasn't is not constructed for
- 6:21Speaker 2: the way that team had to play.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It wasn't. And you know what, Jalen Brown may be
- 6:24Speaker 1: a huge part of Team usay in the future, but
- 6:27Speaker 1: with the amount of ball handlers that were on that
- 6:29Speaker 1: roster last year, he did not make any sense. If
- 6:33Speaker 1: you're a Celtics fan and you're pissed off, sure, okay,
- 6:35Speaker 1: you know whatever, he was files the MVP, Okay, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: then you go the last night's game, Craig and you
- 6:41Speaker 1: mentioned them warm up stuff, and you know, Boston crowd
- 6:44Speaker 1: boo and Steve Kerr and all that. For whatever reason,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I guess it's just Boston. But then Steph Curry comes
- 6:51Speaker 1: out and just absolutely torches the Boston Celtics, you are
- 6:55Speaker 1: one of the best defensive teams in the league. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, you know what, Steph Cury, he was
- 7:00Speaker 1: the best player in the Team US. I know Lebron
- 7:02Speaker 1: won the Most Valuable whatever stupid award, but Steph Curry
- 7:05Speaker 1: was the best player for Team USA this past summer.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And when Steph Curry plays like Steph Curry last night,
- 7:12Speaker 1: like he did last night, he is one of the
- 7:14Speaker 1: best players in the league. In Golden State seven to one,
- 7:18Speaker 1: five and zero on the road, and they're doing with
- 7:21Speaker 1: a lot of young guys, some guys that going into
- 7:23Speaker 1: the season he thought, you know, we're ready to write
- 7:25Speaker 1: this team off. Now it's still early. It's we've only
- 7:27Speaker 1: been through two weeks and Golden State can lose five
- 7:29Speaker 1: to the next six and we're talking about, you know,
- 7:32Speaker 1: is the time to blow up the Warriors. But interesting
- 7:35Speaker 1: dynamic the Steve Kerr first, Jason Tatum bit, but Steph
- 7:40Speaker 1: Curry actually was the one that came out and delivered
- 7:42Speaker 1: the knockout.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah, four and nine beyond the arc, seven to seven
- 7:45Speaker 2: of the foul liney wild out of twenty seven pints,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and Buddy Healed had a critical three in that game,
- 7:50Speaker 2: he was four for seven beyond the arc. He had
- 7:52Speaker 2: twenty points in the in the game, so Buddy healed
- 7:56Speaker 2: was a factor as well. We've got some other NBA
- 7:58Speaker 2: able to get to because there's more saltiness in other places.
- 8:02Speaker 2: We'll get to that when we continue on sports Radio
- 8:04Speaker 2: AM thirteen under the Zone and the iHeartRadio app.
