- 0:05Speaker 1: by Joe wattis we wish to entertain, instruct and motivate.

- 0:13Speaker 1: to live a more positive life three hundred and sixty five.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Days a year.
- 0:17Speaker 3: We hope you enjoyed this message.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Two idiots go on a fishing trip. They rent all
- 0:26Speaker 4: the equipment, the reels, the rods, the waiting suits, the
- 0:31Speaker 4: row boat, the car, even a cabin in the woods.
- 0:35Speaker 4: They spend a fortune. The first day they go fishing,
- 0:41Speaker 4: but they don't catch anything. The same thing happens on
- 0:46Speaker 4: the second day, and on the third. It goes on
- 0:50Speaker 4: like this until finally, on the last day of their holiday,
- 0:54Speaker 4: one of the men catches a single fish. As they
- 0:59Speaker 4: were driving home, they got really depressed. One guy turns
- 1:05Speaker 4: to the other and says, do you realize that that
- 1:09Speaker 4: one lousy fish that we caught cost us fifteen hundred dollars.
- 1:17Speaker 4: The other guy looks at him and says, Wow, it's
- 1:21Speaker 4: a good thing we didn't catch anymore. One sure path
- 1:34Speaker 4: to unhappiness and dissatisfaction is to compare yourself to other people,
- 1:42Speaker 4: no matter what the comparison is there will always be
- 1:46Speaker 4: someone who has more money, more friends, more power, a
- 1:52Speaker 4: bigger house, a better job, a faster car. Comparing ourselves
- 1:58Speaker 4: to other people will always lead to dissatisfaction. We will
- 2:04Speaker 4: talk about this in this week's episode of Positively three
- 2:07Speaker 4: sixty five, but first we have our trivia question of
- 2:12Speaker 4: the day. Are you ready for it? Here it is
- 2:16Speaker 4: which country is the largest producer of coffee in the world.
- 2:23Speaker 4: We will have the answer when we come back.

- 4:20Speaker 4: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:24Speaker 4: The question was which country is the largest producer of
- 4:29Speaker 4: coffee in the world. The answer Brazil. Brazil has been
- 4:36Speaker 4: the world's largest producer of coffee for over one hundred
- 4:41Speaker 4: and fifty years. It produces about one third of the
- 4:45Speaker 4: world's coffee supply with a variety of beans including Arabica
- 4:51Speaker 4: and robusta. The country's favorable climate and vast land area
- 4:58Speaker 4: makes it an ideal location for coffee cultivation. Coffee is
- 5:03Speaker 4: a significant part of Brazil's economy and culture. Now you know?
- 5:17Speaker 4: Comparing ourselves to others often leads to unhappiness because it
- 5:23Speaker 4: fuels feelings of inadequacy and self doubt. When we focus
- 5:29Speaker 4: on what others have or achieve, we overlook our own
- 5:33Speaker 4: strengths and progress, fostering a sense of scarcity or failure.
- 5:39Speaker 4: This constant comparison can create unrealistic standards, as we may
- 5:45Speaker 4: only see the highlights of others' lives, ignoring their struggles
- 5:50Speaker 4: or imperfections. Ultimately, it detracts from our ability to appreciate
- 5:56Speaker 4: our own unique journey, leaving us dissatisfied and disconnected from
- 6:02Speaker 4: the joy that comes from self acceptance. Ernest Hemingway once said,
- 6:18Speaker 4: there is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man.
- 6:24Speaker 4: True nobility is being superior to your former self.
