A shooting in southeast Wichita left a 39-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper torso. Police quickly identified and arrested two suspects, recovering a firearm. Tragically, the chaos inside the apartment led to the protective custody of two young children — a 6-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy.
