- Prashanthi Nuthi: Hello friends, finally spring is here. For the last couple of months, we have been cleaning our backyard and trying to decide what tree to plant in our backyard. We went to nurseries read reviews, debated whether to plant a fruiting tree, flowering tree, or a colorful tree. but could not decide. One day we were shopping at Costco along with our daughter and her friend. We saw this beautiful green maple tree. Boom, within 30 seconds, we looked at each other, decided, and bought the tree part was the tree wouldn't even fit into the car. Significant part of the tree was sticking out of the moon roof. But we were laughing, giggling, taking turns to hold the tree down while my husband drove the car back. We came home, planted the tree, and then I looked at this tree. There was a sudden moment of doubt. Was this the tree I was envisioning all this while? No fruit, no flower, no color. But then I remembered our car ride back home. All the laughter, chaos, the memory of bringing this tree home. Suddenly the tree looked beautiful. No other tree could bring that memory back. There was no going back after that. That's when I realized we don't commit to our decisions we commit to the experiences. Same thing happens at work too. We over engineer, over optimize our decisions based on complicated frameworks, too many comparisons over analysis. So here's the microboost for you today. What's that one decision you or your team is overanalyzing right now Stop debating, just cut to the chase, plant the tree and see what happens. Remember, small actions, big impact. Until we meet again next time, let's keep making impact together. Thank you.
