Speaker C: By being a racing driver, you are at the risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver.
• 0:32
Speaker B: All right, Martin. Well, 2025, I guess it's not the Baku Grand Prix. Aer Baijan Grand Prix. And, you know, as a McLaren fan, I'm starting to get nervous. Max is. Is this two wins in a row for him now.
• 0:50
Speaker D: Yeah, we've just. We've just rolled the clock back a couple of years. We're back to Red Bull dominance. You know, pole position, fastest lap, wins the race.
• 1:02
Speaker B: Yuki finished in P5, didn't he? It's like, who? Yuki?
• 1:07
Speaker D: Yuki? Oh, Yuki. Yeah, Yuki. I mean, even. Yeah, even Yuki's, like, doing his best impression of Sergio Perez, you know, sort of being there, there or thereabouts. I mean, we were. We were dunking on Perez when he was only finishing fifth or sixth. Now, Yuki, that's a great result. Yeah, I think he was. Was he sick? Yeah, Yuki was sick behind Lawson in the end. But should you. Should you be worried, like, McLaren is going to win everything? I mean, so What?
• 1:37
Speaker B: Max is 25 points now behind Oscar in first.
• 1:41
Speaker D: No, no, no, no, no,no, no, no. Lando's 25 points behind Oscar. Max is like, a bunch more behind.
• 1:52
  Speaker A: All right.
• 1:52
Speaker D: Behind than I feel behind.
• 1:54
Speaker B: I don't know what I was looking at then.
• 1:56
  Speaker D: I'm.
• 1:57
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:57
Speaker D: No, you. You got. You kind of. Yeah, you gotta. Let's sprinkle in some realism here a little bit. All right.
• 2:03
Speaker B: All right. Yeah, 70. He's like 70 points behind.
• 2:06
Speaker D: All right. Yeah, yeah. He's not. He's not like, one win behind. Yeah.
• 2:12
Speaker B: I was having trouble focusing today with this race on. You know, McLaren's not up @ the front seeing Max pull away.
• 2:21
Speaker D: Yeah. Where is everybody? But it's. Obviously, it's. It's not mathematically impossible. I saw a few things online where people put together scenarios. Obviously, the scenarios start with Max winning everything, including every single race and every sprint race, which you would say is ridiculous, but he's done it before.
• 2:41
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 2:42
Speaker D: So, you know, not that. And. And, you know, Piastri and Lando can sort of get second, get third, get fourth.
• 2:50
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 2:50
Speaker D: And they still end up losing to Max. He. He hauls them in eventually, but it's a It's a super tight window to drive through, but yeah, worth talking about. But what about, what about Piastri?
• 3:04
Speaker B: You know, this was the weirdest weekend ever for Oscar. I mean, he had that one mess up in Australia where he was still able to get in the points, but he lost the win. Right.
• 3:17
Speaker D: Well, made no track, the wet track and everything where he went off. I mean, he got a bit unlucky there, right, Because Lando and who he both went off. It just took him significantly longer to get back on track.
• 3:27
Speaker B: But yeah, that's like the only mistake you can say that he made all season up until this weekend. And it was just like mistake after mistake after mistake.
• 3:36
Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, what, what was happening in, in qualifying? Maybe we should go, go back to that because it was a crazy qualifying. How many red flags? Five red flags?
• 3:45
Speaker B: Yeah, five or six. It was.
• 3:47
Speaker D: Cars just couldn't. Cars just couldn't make, make corners. They were talking about wind gusts. I mean, these cars are upside down airplanes, so very susceptible to, you know, aero is everything. So if, you know, if you get a gust of wind when your car is on the edge, it can just sort of definitely destabilize the car. But sometimes it looked like they just turned the wheel, they lost grip, the car just went straight on into the wall over and over again. It was really weird.
• 4:22
Speaker B: I can't remember ever seeing a time where there's been so many crashes in one qualifying where there wasn't any. I mean, there might have been like a little bit of rain, but not really.
• 4:32
Speaker D: Yeah, there definitely was a tiny bit. But yeah, sometimes that can be deceiving on, on tv. Right. Because they're very long lenses. So you're looking through a lot of atmosphere, you see some rain falling, but maybe combination of, you know, obviously tight corners, street circuit, you know, no, no to zero runoff, you know, it's not a racetrack, it's just regular roads. So you got painted lines. There's not a lot of rubber down, like embedded into the surface of the road. So different kind of surface for the tires to grip to. Add all that up and maybe you get. And people pushing, you know, for good times and qualifying and maybe that all adds up to five red flags. But yeah, it was. And then when the pressure came to produce, when you really only had one shot at it.
• 5:25
  Speaker B: Max takes.
• 5:26
Speaker D: Max was the guy that delivered, right?
• 5:28
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 5:29
Speaker D: And Sainz was the one who benefited because he managed to put in a lap early before the red flag that people couldn't match. So what was the rid at the End was Sainz second or third.
• 5:45
Speaker B: Yeah, Sainz second, Lawson, and then the.
• 5:48
Speaker D: Two racing bulls, Lawson and Hajar.
• 5:53
Speaker B: Hajar and the Mercedes were up there.
• 5:57
Speaker D: And then ultimately, I think. Yeah. And then Lando was like down in seventh, right.
• 6:03
Speaker B: And Oscar was P10.
• 6:06
Speaker D: Oscar was down. Yeah. So, yeah, Lando left it. Left it all to do. But yeah, the Red Bull performance improvement is real.
• 6:18
  Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
• 6:18
Speaker B: I mean, it definitely helps when the main contender in the championship, you know, jumps the start at the beginning of the race and then crashes into the wall from the back of the race.
• 6:33
Speaker D: Oh, yeah. I mean, Piastri's start was. I mean. Yeah, it was just disastrous. What did he do? He jumped. He jumped the start, jumped the start.
• 6:42
Speaker B: Then stalled it kicked in.
• 6:44
Speaker D: The anti stall kicked in because that was pretty cool. From the in car shot, how you see the screen changing on his steering wheel, you don't see that too much, but anti stall kicks in at exactly the wrong moment when everybod, everybody else is then taking off. He's literally plumb last. And then. Yeah, maybe just trying a little bit too hard through one of those tight turns.
• 7:06
Speaker B: Yeah, he was like going around the outside and there was just no room and he locked up and boom.
• 7:11
Speaker D: Yeah. Car just went straight on, you know, and that. And that was Lando's moment.
• 7:19
  Speaker A: Right.
• 7:20
Speaker D: This is the moment now where Lando's gonna catch up a bunch in the championship. But, yeah, it was. It was so hard, I don't think. You know, it was so tough on him to make any kind of progress.
• 7:33
  Speaker A: Right.
• 7:33
Speaker D: These cars, maybe they were set up for a long straight. Cause Baku's straight is what crazy. It's like.
• 7:40
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 7:41
Speaker D: Three. It's like. It's like miles long.
• 7:44
Speaker B: Did they move the Drs line back more?
• 7:48
Speaker D: Like it looked like there was less. Yeah, like you. They were. They were on the straight for a while before the Drs even opened. Um, but, yeah, I mean, it did work. It was a. It was a good balance. People were overtaking. Was there?
• 8:04
Speaker B: Yeah, I feel like most of it was. There was a little bit, I guess.
• 8:08
Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, not as much. Not, Not. Not a huge amount, but, you know, works. But yeah, the people. I think the cars that just had the power in a straight line could just. They weren't. They weren't getting touched, even with Drs behind them. I mean, look at the. The restart after the red flag, you know, when Piastri crashed. Verstappen actually went quite early, I think. Caught a lot of people out, but I think he just had confidence in the power of the Red Bull straight line speed. And I guess it was. It helped that it was Carlos Sainz behind him in a Williams, you know.
• 8:42
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 8:44
Speaker D: And he could just, you know, blast his way to the first corner.
• 8:47
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 8:48
Speaker B: Lando, like, wasn't paying attention during the restart.
• 8:51
Speaker D: He got caught out. Yeah.
• 8:52
Speaker B: Look, just like Charles get by him. I mean.
• 8:54
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, they took. They took advantage. Yeah. Because, yeah, Hamilton just. He kind of messed up in the qualifying, Right. Didn't get out of Q2. And then Charles, he was. He caused one of the red flags, didn't he, Charles, in qualifying, I think.
• 9:09
Speaker B: Yeah, he crashed. That's right. Yeah.
• 9:11
Speaker D: So he. He was starting that down in 10th or whatever. But yeah, on the restart, Charles got. Got Lando, he was asleep. Lando just didn't. He couldn't get any more out of the car, maybe.
• 9:24
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 9:24
Speaker D: I mean, Max, just like one of those races, Max. You never saw him on the, on the. On the coverage. Right. He was just always ahead.
• 9:32
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 9:33
Speaker B: I mean, we didn't. I feel like we didn't see. Not that we ever see much overtaking when guys are all on, you know, equal tires, so to speak, or no tire disparity between the two. Like, most of the overtaking was around pit stops, Right. Which, yeah, of course, McLaren screwed up another pit stop. See, this is why I'm getting nervous, all right? It's like we looked so smooth for the first half of the year, right. And then all of a sudden all like, we've made multiple pit stop mistakes over the last few races. Right. Like, even the last race was the one where we had. Where they swapped them back. Right?
• 10:11
Speaker D: Yeah. Couldn't do that this time, could they?
• 10:15
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 10:15
Speaker B: Gunther was going off on McLaren for swapping the cars. He was not happy.
• 10:21
Speaker D: A lot of people weren't happy. Monza. Okay. I wasn't a huge fan of it. That was just kind of the way the cookie crumbles. But I saw. I saw both sides. It, I guess why they did it.
• 10:31
Speaker B: I guess that the agito was that Lando kind of said, look, I want to be able to stay out in case of a safety car, but if I get overtaken, you have to let me get the place back.
• 10:42
Speaker D: Right. Just tell me it's not going to happen. We don't have to relegislate that discussion. But yeah. Yeah. Another. Another slow pit stop, I think. Yeah. Front. Front. Right. Was it this time? Yeah, it was. Didn't. Wasn't on properly.
• 10:55
Speaker B: They lost positions because of that.
• 10:56
Speaker D: Cost him probably two or three spots at least. Right. He was going to come out in front of those guys and ended up being, you know, way behind after doing 39 laps on hard tires. That's all he could do. But Verstappen, by contrast, did 40 laps on hard tyres and built a full, basically a full pit stop gap, you know, out in front, you know, it wasn't even close.
• 11:22
Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, he was the last one to pit, so everyone was so far behind. And then George somehow was able to overcut Carlos. Like Carlos was all worried that he was like, don't let him undercut me. Whatever we do, don't let him undercut me. And then he's like, fine, I'll just overcut you and take it.
• 11:41
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. I mean, yeah, it did. Russell, I think Sainz, yes, was on mediums. Russell started on hard. Sainz pitted after 27 laps. Russell went all the way to 39 and then, you know, made it happen. Yeah. Russell once again just quietly going about his business and popping up on, on the podium at the end.
• 12:01
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 12:02
Speaker D: But still huge credit to Sainz. You know, I mean, obviously he would have preferred second over third, but just to get on the podium, it's just a massive, you know, and. Well, has Hamilton been on the podium this year? No, he hasn't.
• 12:14
Speaker B: You know, unless you count the sprint race.
• 12:16
Speaker D: The guy. Well, he won the sprint race, but not of a Grand Prix. You know, the guy who, the guy who took his seat to be on the podium before he did in the supposedly better car. It's got to feel good for Carlos, so. Good for him.
• 12:29
Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. And I mean, there was. We should talk about Kimmy. I mean, this is the best race weekend he's had in a long time.
• 12:36
  Speaker D: Yeah. P4.
• 12:38
Speaker B: He had that little moment with George early on when they were fighting side by side and George kind of had to back out and lost a couple places. I'm sure that in the end, George. I'm sure George didn't care if he ended in P2 ahead of Kimmy, but at the moment it didn't look very good.
• 12:54
Speaker D: I mean, Kimmy, massive improvement, obviously, what, two, two races ago in, in, in Holland, you know, he made the mistake that took out who did he hit? Leclair.
• 13:07
  Speaker A: Yeah. Yep.
• 13:08
Speaker D: Yeah, took him out so much better driving from Kimmy and. Yeah. Drove it to, to fourth spot, you know.
• 13:15
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 13:16
Speaker D: The best of the, the best of the rookies mean a lot of the rookies are doing really well.
• 13:21
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 13:21
Speaker D: You know, Hajara has picked it up, you know, recently. Not the best race from him. This. This week when he ended up in 10th, I think.
• 13:28
Speaker B: But he had a bad start.
• 13:30
Speaker D: He's been doing well. Bortoletto is, you know, in a. In a hard car to drive has been. Been up there.
• 13:36
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 13:36
Speaker D: Bearman again, maybe is. There's only so much you can get out of the house, but they're all. They're all showing that they belong, I think.
• 13:44
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 13:44
  Speaker D: In Formula one.
• 13:46
Speaker B: Absolutely. I mean, it's the old guys that are really not looking so good. I mean, I can't make any excuses for Lewis anymore at this point. I really, I can't. And frankly, I never really. I didn't watch Formula one during Fernando's best moments, but I don't really get the hype on him if I'm being fully up front.
• 14:09
Speaker D: I mean, yeah, Alonso started well. He ended up, what, P7, P15 stroll, P17, totally off the pace. Other teams have improved their car. Aston have done nothing. My prediction of just having Adrian Newey walk into your building, giving you an extra half second on your car, clearly does not come true.
• 14:32
  Speaker A: No.
• 14:33
Speaker D: So maybe next year is their last chance to utilize Adrian's knowledge, you know, with the new cars coming out, the new regulations. But, yeah, not a great weekend for Aston Martin. Very forgettable.
• 14:48
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 14:48
Speaker B: I mean, what other moments did we have? Albon and Franco crashed at the back of the race. They weren't, you know, didn't really affect.
• 14:58
Speaker D: Much, but, yeah, they came together.
• 15:01
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 15:02
Speaker B: They were both able to keep it on track, though.
• 15:05
Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, so, shockingly, after the qualifying of all the red flags, I was sure we were going to have a repeat in the race with people crashing all over the place.
• 15:16
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 15:16
Speaker D: But I guess, you know, with that, maybe with the heavier cars with more fuel on, they're driving a little bit less aggressively, you know, not trying to squeeze everything out just on one lap, you know, they were able to make it happen. I mean, it's still. Every time I see that shot of them driving through the castle complex, it's insane. Like, how tight that is. I mean, it's. Is it the tightest or the narrowest part of any Formula one track on the calendar?
• 15:42
Speaker B: I believe they actually. They did say that.
• 15:45
  Speaker D: Yeah.
• 15:46
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 15:46
Speaker B: I mean, it's crazy. It's a cool little, beautiful little spot of the spot of the track, but yeah, yeah. Not making any moves into there.
• 15:58
Speaker D: Yeah. But at the end of the day, I think it's a 25 point gap between Lando and Piastri. So that's a full. That's a full race win. Plus DNF and it's still only tied with 7 races to go. So still in Oscar's hands, but he's got to. Yeah. Bit of a reality check is needed.
• 16:21
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 16:21
Speaker B: I mean, they gotta figure out all these mistakes or else it can turn quickly. I mean, how much was max up and.20,21 until Lewis brought it back to Ty. Right.
• 16:34
Speaker D: Yeah. And then you.
• 16:35
Speaker B: I think it was 70 points, but.
• 16:38
Speaker D: And you could always go back to like individual races and say, what if that. What if this, you know, different points. You know, it could. It could be that the. That Pit stop in Baku could. It could cost Lando the title. You know, that cost him like, you know, a few places and, you know, a handful of points. We'll see how close it is at the end. But yeah, it. We all piastri was just infallible up until. Up until now. But a few little cracks are appearing. It's gonna make it. It's gonna make it interesting.
• 17:12
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 17:13
Speaker D: What about, like, what about Lawson? Amazing up there and, And Sonoda too, you know, but they're always looking at those guys trying to who's. Who's gonna be in what seat does anybody want to be in? That second Red Bull seat. Now is. Is Racing Bulls the seat to be in?
• 17:30
Speaker B: I mean, does Hajar have that seat?
• 17:32
Speaker D: Is that legit being the second seat, but with. With Max next year? Yeah, I don't know for sure. I don't know if they've announced that was that.
• 17:42
Speaker B: I feel like someone in our group chat messaged us about that. I didn't know if it was.
• 17:48
  Speaker D: I don't know if you'd want it. It's a cursed spot.
• 17:51
Speaker B: I mean, you can't really say no, can you?
• 17:55
Speaker D: You could try. Somebody's got to first.
• 17:57
Speaker B: Yeah, Nick sent it to us. Although it's with an office meme attached to it, so you never know. But it says Hajar is set to join Red Bull as Max's teammate for 2026 as per AMUS. I don't know what. What that is, but I don't know.
• 18:20
Speaker D: Until it's from, you know, Red Bull press office itself. I wouldn't. I wouldn't believe it.
• 18:25
Speaker B: I guess a smart way to think about it.
• 18:29
Speaker D: Yeah, but it's. It's tough. But Tsunoda's definitely showing improvement. And yeah, the Racing Bulls and, you know, Lawson and Hajar are in the mix. So, like, everybody's got something to be, you know, happy about from this race, I think, except for like the Astons, probably. Colapinto Albon Yeah, those. Those guys are struggling and have done.
• 18:53
Speaker B: Albon's got to be kicking himself. Right. With Carlos. Oh, with Carlos finishing P3, Albon looked the faster car for.
• 19:03
Speaker D: He. He was making moves. Yeah. At the back. I mean, he had that early pit stop. Right. He put it on the. The first lap. Did he have damage?
• 19:11
Speaker B: Well, he had the crash with.
• 19:14
  Speaker D: Oh, that's right.
• 19:15
Speaker B: With Franco right after they had pit.
• 19:19
  Speaker D: Yeah.
• 19:20
Speaker B: So that kind of ruined it. But I mean, he had bad. He. He messed up in qualifying, so.
• 19:24
Speaker D: He messed up in qualifying. Yeah, that was the. The bigger issue. But, yeah, Albon's looked like the. The better car, but. Or the faster car potentially. But, yeah, science put it all together. It's. It shows what he can do. Or we've all known that he's, you know, he's been there before, so he's got it within him. And it was, you know, fun to see him up there. He deserves it. There was a cute little video, I think. I think there's a video of leclerc being driven through a tunnel going somewhere, and it's Sainz driving him home. So it's always fun when you see the drivers hanging out together out side of the track, being friendly with each other, you know.
• 20:03
Speaker B: Did you see a. Carlos had a unicorn sticker on the back of his helmet because he's got this, like, little girl fan that's like three years old that, like, sent him a video asking him to wear this unicorn sticker. And of course he won or got. He podiumed when he's wearing the unicorn sticker.
• 20:23
  Speaker D: There you go.
• 20:23
Speaker B: You know, now he's got to wear for the rest of the season, I think.
• 20:27
Speaker D: Didn't Albon go through a spade of that, where he dyed his hair different colors and he was doing quite well a few years ago.
• 20:33
  Speaker B: That's right.
• 20:34
  Speaker D: With it.
• 20:35
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 20:35
Speaker D: Hey, whatever works, man. Whatever works.
• 20:38
Speaker B: Yeah, whatever. Whatever floats your boat, makes it happen.
• 20:40
Speaker D: You know, the McLarens are going to go back to whatever they were doing the start of the season, whatever Mojo they had.
• 20:48
Speaker B: Change delivery to the colors when Lewis was there.
• 20:52
  Speaker D: I don't know.
• 20:52
  Speaker B: Change something up.
• 20:55
Speaker D: Yeah. Back to those old.
• 20:56
Speaker B: Like, be really cool.
• 21:00
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 21:01
Speaker B: Well, I think that's really it for the race itself.
• 21:04
Speaker D: Yeah. There weren't too many, like you said. There weren't that many, many overtakes and stuff. It was just people fainting and defending. But it was a bit of a Drs train going, wasn't it, where everybody had Drs so nobody behind Lawson, that many inroads. Yeah. Lawson Was at the front, I saw a funny meme of. I think it was from Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson driving this little, like, tiny little car, going like, there's no traffic. This is amazing. And then behind him, there's just a massive queue of cars because he's driving so slowly.
• 21:34
  Speaker B: Nice.
• 21:38
Speaker D: Yeah. But another. Another street circuit coming up. Singapore, you know, could be more of the same, you know, Although obviously they're much more likely to be wet than windy.
• 21:51
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 21:52
  Speaker B: And hot.
• 21:53
Speaker D: And hot. Yes, very hot. I mean, I think Russell said he drove. Did he drive this weekend? Not feeling particularly well. I think he was sick.
• 22:04
Speaker B: Somebody was. Might have been George.
• 22:06
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 22:07
Speaker D: Yeah. But if you're. If you're. If you. If you're sick, going in to Singapore and with all that humidity and. And heat.
• 22:14
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 22:15
  Speaker D: And effort.
• 22:16
Speaker B: Well, Carlos did it after appendicitis, didn't he? And he won the. And he won the race.
• 22:21
Speaker D: And he won the race. You know, everything to play for. But, yeah, tough, tough circuit. Not quite sure historically who's done. Done well at Singapore, but.
• 22:34
Speaker B: Well, if Max Alonzo's done well once, at least with a little help from.
• 22:41
Speaker D: His friends, you know, a little crash gate. That was 20 years ago, isn't it now? That's a long time ago. Although Flab's still there. Yes. People don't forget it's Flab at the races. They never really show it.
• 22:53
Speaker B: Yeah, that's probably for the best.
• 22:55
Speaker D: Probably for the best. You're probably right. And they saw today, officially, Horners left Red Bull, right? Yeah. So he was still employed by Red Bull, even though he wasn't the team principal. But now he's officially. Officially gone.
• 23:10
Speaker B: Hundred million dollar settlement. How about that?
• 23:14
Speaker D: I mean, yeah, if you got it, you've got it, I suppose, but that's.
• 23:22
Speaker B: The alarm to talk about coops, right?
• 23:25
Speaker D: No, I don't know what that was. Don't answer your phone. Don't answer your phone if you don't recognize the number.
• 23:31
  Speaker B: Definitely.
• 23:31
Speaker D: Yeah. 100 million bucks for Horner. We'll probably see him again. Right, Jason? He'll pop up somewhere.
• 23:37
Speaker B: Like I said in the chat, I think it's likely he's gonna try and buy in this time. And Alpine's right around the corner. Him and Flav are buddies. He may try and buy in there, get a little.
• 23:49
  Speaker D: Oh, my gosh.
• 23:50
Speaker B: Little cut of the pie. Could you imagine that team?
• 23:53
Speaker D: Can you imagine being invited to a group text chat and it's got fluff and horn. No, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, gross. Yeah.
• 24:06
Speaker B: You can have Like a party room at headquarters and a disco ball and like bubbles and everything, you know.
• 24:11
  Speaker D: Oh, no.
• 24:12
Speaker B: The Red Bull way.
• 24:14
Speaker D: Oh, dear. Yeah. Coops. Coops. F1 low scores this week. I think. Go nuts. Was the Highest score with 190, which is great score. Pretty, you know, pretty good, but like historically not. Not that great. Renata hida. Renata for 170 points. C. Sherman with 168. And Chubba, a friend of mine. 162, but no change at the top.
• 24:46
Speaker B: Wonder if that's a Finding Nemo reference. What is C. Sherman?
• 24:52
Speaker D: Yeah, c. Sherman, Wallaby 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney. There you go. It could be. Maybe he's a Pixar employee. I don't know.
• 25:02
Speaker B: Hey, if you are Sea Sherman, hit us up.
• 25:05
Speaker D: We could use. Who knows who's hiding behind these names. Could be Formula one drivers here. We don't even know.
• 25:11
Speaker B: That would be amazing.
• 25:13
Speaker D: But yeah, you're still at the top spot by 20 points over. Over Nick and Andley holding. Holding station in third. But yeah, that tightening up for sure.
• 25:23
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 25:24
Speaker D: Not a runaway victory. I had a tough go of it. This only 75 points for this race.
• 25:29
Speaker B: That's more than maybe.
• 25:31
  Speaker D: Really.
• 25:32
  Speaker B: I got 71. I think Nick got in the 60s.
• 25:36
  Speaker D: Did he really?
• 25:38
  Speaker B: 62?
• 25:40
Speaker D: Yeah. I mean it's just so tough. Like nobody's predicting, you know, Williams like to come third, you know, I mean, I think. And if they are, they're probably predicting. They're probably predicting Albon, you know, to be that.
• 25:54
Speaker B: I mean, I pick Max in third and he was the closest person I had to like the right spot.
• 26:01
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 26:01
Speaker D: So obviously everybody had Oscar, you know, up in there somewhere.
• 26:05
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 26:06
Speaker D: Oh, that was a cool shot. I like that. The shot of Oscar watching on his phone.
• 26:10
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 26:10
Speaker D: Like the side of the race at that actual time. I was also watching the race on my phone.
• 26:15
  Speaker B: Nice.
• 26:15
Speaker D: In the morning. So I was like, oh, there you go. Just like they're just like us twins. But yeah, just. Just a little. A little bit under two weeks until. Until Singapore. I mean, McLaren, like they could have sewn up the. The championship. The Constructors Championship this weekend. So that mathematics rolls on.
• 26:41
Speaker B: Right. And. But Mercedes jumped Ferrari in the constructors after this race.
• 26:49
Speaker D: Right. Right. Yeah. So. And now we're going to have to. I mean, it's just the races are counting down. We got 1, 2, 3, 7 to go, including single sprints. Couple of sprints are in there. Oh, still, still all to play for. Definitely between. Between Lando and Oscar. Hopefully it'll be A fun and interesting fight, but, yeah, mistakes are going to get more and more costly.
• 27:14
Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's the closest fight we've seen since we started doing this, so.
• 27:19
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, since. Yeah, since the max Hamilton era, 2021, which is pre. The Undercut podcast.
• 27:28
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 27:30
Speaker D: If you've been listening.
• 27:30
Speaker B: But, yeah, I think that's. That's pretty much it. Anything else you think we missed?
• 27:36
Speaker D: No, I don't think so. Just. Yeah, see what happens.
• 27:41
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 27:42
Speaker B: Nick, wake up, wherever you are.
• 27:47
Speaker D: He'll join us next time. We got Singapore, and then he'll have.
• 27:51
Speaker B: To tell us about all the races he's been to in Singapore.
• 27:54
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, he used to live in Singapore.
• 27:56
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 27:57
Speaker D: Then it's. Then it's Kota, Mexico, Brazil, Vegas. So Coda.
• 28:04
Speaker B: Coda should be good for McLaren, right?
• 28:07
Speaker D: It should be good for McLaren. Unless. Unless the. The Red Bulls have just really found that pace, right, that, you know, the whole. Everybody's talking about. McLaren's managing their tires, getting them into temperature just right, holding that performance just right. Either they've not lost, been able to do that, or Max has sorted out how to do that in his car.
• 28:28
Speaker B: Yeah, well, when you're tooling around, people, it's hard to save those tires when you can't. Can't back up at all because there's a guy right behind you.
• 28:38
Speaker D: It's easier at the front, that's for sure.
• 28:41
Speaker A: He has to give up the corner.
• 28:43
Speaker D: I had the nose ahead.
• 28:44
Speaker A: What is wrong with these people?
• 28:47
