• 0:51
  Speaker 2: I am starting. I believe it's January third. I hope
• 0:54
Speaker 2: it's January third, But we're be doing a late night
• 0:57
Speaker 2: show during the postseason on ESPN's going to be airing
• 1:01
Speaker 2: every Friday. And you know, when I first approached ESPN
• 1:06
Speaker 2: with potentially working for them, and Monday night football was
• 1:09
Speaker 2: a big part of that Monday night countdown. I thought about,
• 1:12
Speaker 2: you know, I loved late night shows. I've always loved them.
• 1:15
Speaker 2: I remember sleepovers watching Conan O'Brien with my friends. It's like,
• 1:20
Speaker 2: what are we doing here? But that was and I
• 1:23
Speaker 2: think for me, the biggest thing that players say they
• 1:26
Speaker 2: miss when they leave the sport is being around the guys.
• 1:30
Speaker 2: Is the locker room, is the banter. I mean, listen,
• 1:35
Speaker 2: that's where half of the good stuff comes from. Sure,
• 1:38
Speaker 2: and you know, being able to have this, you know,
• 1:42
Speaker 2: this the show where we're going to have a bunch
• 1:44
Speaker 2: of guys up there, legends of the game, friends that
• 1:46
Speaker 2: I played the game with, coaches, celebrities, while also incorporating
• 1:50
Speaker 2: NFL films. Who's going to be a part of it.
• 1:53
Speaker 2: We have a live band, snack time, being able to
• 1:55
Speaker 2: play some of these iconic NFL songs, and it's going
• 1:58
Speaker 2: to be a same in Philadelphia.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: So we don't have a name just yet for the
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Jason Kelcey late night talk show that's going to happen
• 2:07
Speaker 1: once a week on Friday nights during the NFL playoffs. Yeah,
• 2:13
Speaker 1: there's no way that this works. So it will join
• 2:17
Speaker 1: the list of other great ideas that just came up short,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: like Always Lay with Katie Nolan. I love Katie Nolan.
• 2:23
Speaker 1: I think that she's incredibly talented. Show on ESPN Plus
• 2:27
Speaker 1: didn't work. It will also join Cold Pizza, which again
• 2:30
Speaker 1: turned into first take shows like Sports Night on ESPN two,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: and of course Barstool Van Talk that kind of disintegrated
• 2:39
Speaker 1: before it even had a chance to do anything. I
• 2:42
Speaker 1: feel bad because there's so many options now when it
• 2:47
Speaker 1: comes to late night talk. There's so many options just
• 2:50
Speaker 1: for content, just in general. Guys like Colbert and Kimmel
• 2:55
Speaker 1: and Seth Myers. They're not even pulling the ratings that
• 2:58
Speaker 1: they used to pull. And you're telling me that I'm
• 3:01
Speaker 1: expecting people to tune into Jason Kelcey. I was joking
• 3:05
Speaker 1: about this morning with Mark Henry. What is Jason? Is
• 3:09
Speaker 1: Jason Kelsey funny? Do we know that he's funny? I
• 3:12
Speaker 1: like the New Heights Show. I think that their little
• 3:14
Speaker 1: podcast is cute. They got it on the or the
• 3:17
Speaker 1: iHeart Radio app. Should go check it out after you
• 3:18

• 3:29
Speaker 1: I think that this is an idea destined to fail,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: but you know I've been wrong before, well not often,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: but we'll see what happens, all right, Coming up next
