Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's me, Dr. Steve coming to you once again from beautiful sunny Florida, I'm here with my wife for a little, get away, we're snowboarding from all the cold and the northeast, but I just had to comment.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: on the huge win for the House GOP, Mike Johnson got it done again, pretty impressive stuff as many of you know.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: The House of Representatives just passed the Save America Act and the left is in full meltdown mode.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking utterly hysterical, more hysterical than they normally are, are they ever not hysterical right?
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that hysteria is part manufactured part genuine.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Part man, you factored because they're trying to hide something from you.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: They're trying to distract you from something.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Part genuine because they know that their days in power are inevitably coming to an end.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: So if you don't know, the Save Act stands for safeguard American voter eligibility.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Very simple, very straightforward.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: To register to vote,
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: in a federal election, you have got to prove your American citizenship.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's it?
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, that's it.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: You show a passport, show a birth certificate, show a real ID, whatever your documentation.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: You show the very same kind of documents you would need, for example, to board an airplane or open a bank account,
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: And what this bill does is it direct states to remove non-citizens from voter roles, which they should be on in the first place, of course.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it gives them access to federal databases to verify citizenship.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: It passed pretty overwhelmingly given the thin margins to 20 to 20 to 20 away,
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you'd think requiring proof citizenship to vote in American elections would be probably the single most uncontroversial thing in the world.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: All the polls certainly suggest that.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: Polls consistently show that 85% of Americans, including the Jordys and Democrats and independence, support
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: voter ID loss, 76% of black Americans, 82% of Hispanics, 85% of the country as a whole agrees that proof of citizenship should be a prerequisite to vote.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously, who would want what citizen?
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: What any citizen would want non-citizens to dilute their vote, remember?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's the excuse Democrats use with the VRA, the voting rights act.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: That forced red states to draw up majority minority congressional districts and deliberately excluded white voters from those districts, and they use this notion.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: of voter dilution to justify us.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: They argued that whites were diluting the votes of non-whites, such that non-whites could never get the politicians they wanted in office.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: So they use that notion of voter dilution when it's served their purpose of getting more democrat in office.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: But suddenly,
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: These same Democrats turn a blind eye for the same kind of voter dilution when it comes to non-citizens diluting the voter citizens.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I wonder why that is.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any guesses to why that is?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, enter Congresswoman Deliah Ramirez.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: From Illinois, during the debate on the House floor, she launched into a full woke tirade check this out.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Look as I hear my colleagues on the side of the aisle, what I hear is the same racist, misogynistic trash, different decade.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: Republicans are invoking historical policies intended.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be clear, to disenfranchise Americans, especially working people, women, students, indigenous people, and anyone who can't afford the burdens of a new bill.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: the Save America Act is yet another Republican attempt to intimidate and suppress the votes of anyone anyone who threatens their extremist white supremacist agenda.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: So there you have it.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean according to borderline illiterates like Ramirez, proof of citizenship,
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's racist, it's not just white supremacy.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now of course keep in mind, these are the same people that will tell you that math is racist, right?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: But no, that she and her colleagues will never talk this way about identification prerequisites when it comes to say boarding an airplane.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, I guess there are no white supremacists on airplanes.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: But here's what makes that incoherent ramp.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: absurd.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: She never once explained how requiring profacitism shift is actually racist and they never do, right?
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: She never once addressed why dozens of other nations, dozens, particularly in Europe, managed to do this without any controversy whatsoever.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't stop to explain why over 70% of black supported, why 80% of Latinos support
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: race that she just spews out this Democrat talking points that are really in the end at war with reality.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: And what happens always when you're at war with reality?
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Reality always wins.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: So speaking of winning, what's the chances of the save act passing in the sat?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what we're about to find out.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the same nefarious corrupt forces that have infested Minnesota's government have been eating away at your savings now for years at a federal level.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now, of course, we're talking about inflation, where reckless federal reserve policies have been relentlessly devaluing our dollars for decades.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a not so fun fact for you.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever money you had saved up in 2020 has already lost
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: 22% of its value.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: There are riots over and Tehran over things like this gang.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now, your savings didn't shrink.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: They got robbed slowly and quietly by the hidden tax called inflation.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: And here's what makes this explosive.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: Most Americans have a high-quality income.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: 100% of their retirement tied to paper assets all dependent on the system that just keeps printing more dollars But thankfully, there's a way to protect what you've worked so hard to build and that's with physical gold and silver And that's why I turn to Augusta precious metals the absolute best in the business Augusta precious metals has been helping

- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: Knowing you have a plan.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: So the Senate actually has several pathways.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: to pass the Save America Act.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Each with its own distinct political dynamics.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: So the standard legislative path, as you know, is overcoming the 60 votes needed to clear a filibuster.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Republicans currently hold 53 Senate seats, meaning they would need seven Democrats to join them.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I understand it already, the ultra repulsive rhino, Lisa McCousky said that she's a no.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: which is not going to vote for something 85% of the country supports.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: And that's because she needs to cheat in order to continue to represent Alaska, which is a Trump plus 13 state.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: But regardless, seven finding seven Democrat senators other than John Fetterman willing to cross the aisle, as it were simply isn't realistic.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: But that said, with 85% support among voters,
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: vulnerable Democrat senators facing re-election 2026.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: And they could feel the pressure to vote, yes.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: In the meantime, Republicans could go up the filibuster.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: They could change Senate rules to eliminate or at least lower the filibuster threshold with a simple majority vote, the so-called nuclear option.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Bottom line problem with that.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: leader Thun is pointed out is he does not appear to have the votes to do that.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Several Republican senators like McCouske or Susan Collins, they oppose eliminating the filibuster.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not so much Thun standing in the way, getting rid of the filibuster.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's these, it's these rhino senators.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: But again, if ever there were an issue where you could
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: justify ending the filibuster.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's this one with 85 percent support.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: So you can overcome the filibuster with seven Democrats voting with you.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: You can end the filibuster or you can bypass the filibuster and that's done through the reconciliation process, which allows certain legislation to pass, which is a simple 51 vote majority bypassing the filibuster entirely.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with reconciliation is that it's limited to provisions that directly affect federal spending revenue, debt limits under the burden rule.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it's very limited.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: Republicans could potentially attach safe act provisions to a larger reconciliation package by arguing that voter role, maintenance, and citizenship verification databases have
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: And many analysts believe that this really is the most realistic path.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: As Republicans are already working on a major reconciliation bill for Trump's broader agenda.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: But that's, you know, that could take several months.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: They do have a homeland security funding bill on their desk right now, so that might be a possibility.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: to find a way to get this done.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: The congressional Republicans have done their job.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: Trump, of course, has done his job now it's time for Senate Republicans to do theirs.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, the Democrats are literally melting down over this, either as a cynical ploy to try to distract you from the fact that voter ID is probably the single most
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: popular issue among voters 85% approval rating, or as a very real panic that recognizes that if this passes, their days is a viable political part of your over.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Their hysterics are an admission that they've long relied on all kinds of election annexes to stay in power and those annexes are now coming to
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: is a kind of legislation that exposes the fault lines in American politics like nothing else on one side.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a straightforward proposal.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: Prove your citizenship then vote.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: On the other side, you have elected officials screaming racist on the House floor, because they're asked to secure them as fundamental right in the democracy.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: The American people are watching, and they're not buying the Democrat hysterics.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: any longer.
