- 0:01Speaker 1: When I woke up this morning, I was feeling pretty dangerous.
- 0:03Speaker 1: But we're on a Cincinnati it's my team, it's my
- 0:06Speaker 1: Quarterbet they are, we thought they were, and we got
- 0:10Speaker 1: about Hello, you play to win the day. They want
- 0:14Speaker 1: you to cook the dinner. At least they ought to
- 0:15Speaker 1: let your shout for some of the grocery. And on
- 0:17Speaker 1: the way up, we're gonna buy to kneecap all you
- 0:19Speaker 1: get me playoffs. I'm just here so I won't get fun.
- 0:23Speaker 1: How could he not be aromantic about football? Half? Hello? Everybody?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Welcome to benched with Bonetta. Another week, another week that
- 0:31Speaker 1: we haven't been canceled. We're still in it to win
- 0:37Speaker 1: it you guys. Uh, second week in a row that
- 0:39Speaker 1: we are celebrating a birthday. Mohun, Happy birthday. You're thirty one,
- 0:45Speaker 1: you're officially older than I am. How does it feel
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm thirty, I'm young, I'm sprightly. Still how does one feel? Um?
- 0:55Speaker 1: I feel wiser? Why? Yeah, huh? Is that because you
- 0:59Speaker 1: spent it weekend? A weekend in Chicago? But why the way,
- 1:02Speaker 1: by the way, why is the water already green? It's
- 1:05Speaker 1: not Saint Patrick's Day. They celebrate the weekend, Like Saint
- 1:08Speaker 1: Patrick's Day is Thursday, so they celebrate the weekend before
- 1:10Speaker 1: because too many fish And it's not even Saint Patrick's
- 1:14Speaker 1: Day yet. You don't want to celebrate after Saint Patrick's Day.
- 1:16Speaker 1: They do it the weekend before. Well, did you celebrate
- 1:18Speaker 1: Saint Patrick's dad style? Yeah, we're a green. Are they
- 1:22Speaker 1: hangover as worse at thirty one? Uh? Yeah for sure?
- 1:25Speaker 1: Huh And the flight back was tough. I think I'm
- 1:28Speaker 1: out on taking flights longer than like three hours. Now,
- 1:31Speaker 1: that's impossible. You that's not gonna happen at least connected,
- 1:35Speaker 1: But you can't fly internationally. You don't want to take
- 1:39Speaker 1: flights longer than three hours. Were you're never gonna go anywhere.
- 1:41Speaker 1: You're never gonna go to New York ever. Again, I'm okay, no,
- 1:46Speaker 1: just yeah, it's just too long. I was telling you,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I like, I get a little add I can only
- 1:52Speaker 1: watch something for a little, then I read for a little,
- 1:54Speaker 1: then I yeah sleep, I try to take a nap,
- 1:56Speaker 1: but it's just unless i'm in like flying first class
- 1:59Speaker 1: in a pod. Did I tell you guys about the
- 2:00Speaker 1: woman that got kicked out of first class? No? When
- 2:03Speaker 1: I was on my way back from Indianapolis. Your girl
- 2:06Speaker 1: flies first class when she's fine with work. Slid that
- 2:09Speaker 1: in there, Guys, I would never play pay for first class,
- 2:12Speaker 1: buy myself in my life, okay, and a fil network.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Very kind of them. They fly me first class. I
- 2:16Speaker 1: was sitting in first class and somebody didn't show up
- 2:19Speaker 1: to claim their seats, so of course they like go
- 2:21Speaker 1: to the whoever's got the higher status. So this woman
- 2:25Speaker 1: comes barreling up in a first class and he's like,
- 2:27Speaker 1: oh my god, oh thank god, I was so tired.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I got to fly first Thank god. Lovely to see
- 2:33Speaker 1: you all. Oh my god, I'm so excited. Where where's
- 2:36Speaker 1: the champagne? Like she just came in hot, and then
- 2:41Speaker 1: she gets settled. She like takes off her sweater, she
- 2:43Speaker 1: takes off her shoes. I was like, good for this woman,
- 2:45Speaker 1: Like what a lovely treat, you know. And about ten
- 2:49Speaker 1: minutes later, like she had some time to unwind. She
- 2:52Speaker 1: probably ordered a beverage. Ten minutes later, a flight attendant
- 2:55Speaker 1: comes up to her, excuse me, um, so you actually
- 2:59Speaker 1: weren't next one on the list, and we're gonna have
- 3:01Speaker 1: to ask you to go back to your seat. I meanwhile,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm just sitting in the back like she had to
- 3:08Speaker 1: go back to her seat in coach? Did she go willingly?
- 3:12Speaker 1: She did? Oh, but she sit up and she said
- 3:14Speaker 1: what are you gonna give me? And they're like, what
- 3:17Speaker 1: do you? What do you mean? She's like, well, what
- 3:18Speaker 1: are you gonna give me? Because I came out here
- 3:19Speaker 1: and I took off my shoes and I sat down
- 3:21Speaker 1: in first and I was really enjoying myself. So what
- 3:22Speaker 1: are you gonna give me? And they're like, well, you
- 3:24Speaker 1: just came out. You came up here by yourself. No
- 3:26Speaker 1: one asked you. So lesson learned. I don't know what
- 3:30Speaker 1: the lesson is. Don't don't wander into first class unless
- 3:34Speaker 1: they tell you too, guys. Lots going on in the NFL,
- 3:39Speaker 1: not so off off season. Okay, I was really looking
- 3:42Speaker 1: forward to golfing um a lot, and I can't golf
- 3:46Speaker 1: without being on my phone the whole time. He gets
- 3:48Speaker 1: all these crazy moves are happening, the number one move that, frankly,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm already sick of hearing about. It's only been a
- 3:57Speaker 1: few days. Tom Brady's coming back not really a move
- 4:01Speaker 1: but annoying. Nonetheless, he is coming back after how many
- 4:04Speaker 1: days retired forty forty days, lots of funny memes of
- 4:10Speaker 1: him just being not so hot on his family and
- 4:15Speaker 1: being like, you know, I'm out, I'm going back to
- 4:17Speaker 1: play football. But since I am so sick of it,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing about it,
- 4:22Speaker 1: because it's Tom Brady? What are we doing? How much
- 4:25Speaker 1: longer do we have to do this? I've written a
- 4:29Speaker 1: song about his retirement. I did a whole sketch about
- 4:31Speaker 1: his retirement. I look like a dummy. I look like
- 4:34Speaker 1: a dummy anyways, But anyways, I thought it might be
- 4:37Speaker 1: fun to talk about the other people that we would
- 4:40Speaker 1: prefer to come out of retirement. Okay, number one. The
- 4:46Speaker 1: first answer when I asked you guys today, Hey, who
- 4:47Speaker 1: would you like to see coming to retirement? Somebody said
- 4:50Speaker 1: Morgan Freeman, who is absolutely not retired. Who is that?
- 4:53Speaker 1: I don't know, jugr dog No. Freeman is alive and
- 4:57Speaker 1: well and work. He is booked and blast anything since
- 5:01Speaker 1: Bruce Almighty. I looked at his MTB. He's got so
- 5:03Speaker 1: many things, come on, he's got so many things in production,
- 5:07Speaker 1: post production, pre production. He put out a movie last
- 5:10Speaker 1: year and a pandemic he thole. I'm sure that was
- 5:14Speaker 1: so rude of you, Visa or Master Kurd, I don't
- 5:17Speaker 1: even know. Next a guy, I would love to see
- 5:19Speaker 1: him out of retirement, Chunk from the Goonies. He is
- 5:23Speaker 1: a lawyer now and I feel like that's a big mistake.
- 5:26Speaker 1: He could be raking in millions. Everyone loves Chunk from
- 5:29Speaker 1: the Goonies. That's the truffle shovel guys, King Joffrey, how
- 5:35Speaker 1: do we feel about that? Guys? This is messed up.
- 5:38Speaker 1: He was so bullied because he was such a jerk
- 5:41Speaker 1: on Game of Thrones. But like he the actor, I'm
- 5:44Speaker 1: not talking about the guys, what world are we living in?
- 5:50Speaker 1: The actor? He was bullied out of acting because everyone
- 5:52Speaker 1: hated him. Oh that's how good of an actor he was.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I got exactly okay. Next up up Michael Jordan, who
- 6:02Speaker 1: wouldn't love to see him j I beg he could
- 6:04Speaker 1: steal ball, He's done it a couple of times. I
- 6:06Speaker 1: would love to see him come back if there is
- 6:08Speaker 1: an elder man that can come back and play foot
- 6:11Speaker 1: his sport. Besides Tom Brady, who wouldn't love to see
- 6:14Speaker 1: Michael Jordan his whole earrings bouncing around that'd be cool.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Andrew Luck, how do we feel about that. He's had
- 6:20Speaker 1: a couple of years off. Maybe he's feeling better. He's
- 6:23Speaker 1: got a lovely story that we could all get behind.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I really like Andrew Luck. Colts need a quarterback. He's
- 6:28Speaker 1: got to hit the weight room. He looked so thin
- 6:30Speaker 1: last time he appeared in public. I hope he's okay.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I really like I really like Andrew Luck, so I
- 6:35Speaker 1: would love to see that happen. Daniel day Lewis shouldn't
- 6:38Speaker 1: have retired in the first place. There will be blood.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Come on, you're great great, like slam dunk after slam dunk.
- 6:45Speaker 1: This guy all time of our generation. I could see
- 6:47Speaker 1: him pulling in Tom Brady and then comes out with
- 6:49Speaker 1: like a phenomenal movie in like five years. Yeah, he's
- 6:52Speaker 1: probably working on his whole acting routine method right now.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He's probably already somebody else right now and we just
- 6:59Speaker 1: have heard about it. Okay, h Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don't
- 7:04Speaker 1: think he's been in a movie. It's quite some time. Wait,
- 7:06Speaker 1: is he retired from acting or politics? Well, I don't know.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I guess maybe he should be retired from one and
- 7:15Speaker 1: get back to the other. Maybe he was in a
- 7:18Speaker 1: Terminator movie recently or something. Um, I'm not saying he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: a great actor. I'm just saying it would be. I
- 7:23Speaker 1: don't know. I'd watch it on Netflix. Remember Jingle all
- 7:26Speaker 1: the Way? Yes, I don't think I've actually ever seen
- 7:28Speaker 1: that movie though, but Childhood, Yeah, but he was in it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Molan strikes me as the kind of guy to that
- 7:35Speaker 1: watches Christmas movies all year round. Yeah, why not? It's
- 7:39Speaker 1: great when it's on TV and like April. Yeah, No,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'm saying year around, like if Elf or Homelowe or
- 7:46Speaker 1: Homeloane two or on, you're gonna stop and watching. No,
- 7:48Speaker 1: I will not. Actually that's not don't put that on me.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Justin I'm absolutely down to start like decorating for Christmas
- 7:54Speaker 1: literally on November first. But I am not watching a
- 7:57Speaker 1: Christmas movie before now. So you don't watch your face
- 8:00Speaker 1: a Halloween movies other than around Halloween. No, Halloween's different though.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Halloween is just scary movies, like I love scream scary
- 8:10Speaker 1: movies versus like specifically about Halloween though. Yeah, I wouldn't
- 8:15Speaker 1: watch specifically about Halloween unless it's within the confines of October. Agreed. Well,
- 8:20Speaker 1: when You're actually crazy person that you do that. So
- 8:22Speaker 1: you shouldn't put Christmas decorations up until Thanksgiving? Okay, well
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm not American, so my Thanksgiving is in October, so
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna put my Christmas decorations up. I um, can
- 8:31Speaker 1: you watch Elf in April? Okay? Either of the Mannings
- 8:36Speaker 1: would love to watch come back and play football. I
- 8:38Speaker 1: think think they're both in still pretty good physical shape.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Who else? We have literally any band from the nineties
- 8:45Speaker 1: and sink Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls. These are all people
- 8:48Speaker 1: that I would rather come out of retirement than Tom Brady. Okay,
- 8:52Speaker 1: can we say that, Yes, we can say that. I'm
- 8:55Speaker 1: just tired of it. Also, is this just like a
- 8:58Speaker 1: ruse for him to like shell crypto currency again? Do
- 9:03Speaker 1: you guys remember when he made he made this big
- 9:05Speaker 1: move right he's going to Tampa. Everyone's like, okay, wow,
- 9:09Speaker 1: that was crazy Tom Brady loft the Patriots. That was enough.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And then this whole thing he posted on Twitter with Giselle.
- 9:14Speaker 1: He's like, actually, Giselle wants to move again. And then
- 9:17Speaker 1: everyone's like, Tommy, you just got to Tampa. What is
- 9:20Speaker 1: going on? He's like, I'm just trying to sell Crypto.
- 9:23Speaker 1: What I hated that we got got? Well guess what
- 9:28Speaker 1: we got got again? So I don't trust Tom Brady,
- 9:31Speaker 1: never have, no, never one. Um. Lots of guys are
- 9:36Speaker 1: on the move this week, as we mentioned, I'll rip
- 9:38Speaker 1: through a couple of them because so much is happening.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Like Russell Wilson to the bronchos Fields happened a year ago,
- 9:44Speaker 1: right at this point, like that's actually nuts, um lately
- 9:49Speaker 1: in Mitch True Biscuit to the Steelers, how are we
- 9:51Speaker 1: feeling about that? AFC North? I'm okay at that, And
- 9:54Speaker 1: he's not going to be a game changer. I don't think. Well,
- 9:57Speaker 1: our team's a mess, Mitchberg. Yeah, okay, I'm Mark Cooper
- 10:02Speaker 1: to the Browns. You're not hot on that. I don't
- 10:05Speaker 1: love it. This team's literally on fire. Yeah yeah, And
- 10:09Speaker 1: where you lost Jarvis? And I really like shadows to Jarvis?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Can we just say, oh, Jarvis Landry, we love you.
- 10:18Speaker 1: He single handedly changed the culture of the locker. Wherever
- 10:22Speaker 1: you go, I don't know. I hope you get teamed
- 10:24Speaker 1: up with Obi J again. You guys can live happily
- 10:26Speaker 1: ever after and you stay healthy and you're great. Um,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Like I said Russ to the Broncos. Aaron Rodgers is
- 10:32Speaker 1: staying with the Packers. Chargers got Khalil Mack. That's fun.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Jags got Christian Kirk. Carson Wentz I think has pretty
- 10:41Speaker 1: much done deal to Washington football team. Who's going to
- 10:44Speaker 1: be the quarterback for the Colts. Who's going to be
- 10:47Speaker 1: the quarterback for Seattle? Locke? Jimmy Gee, where's he gonna go?
- 10:52Speaker 1: We still have some chips that might fall DeShone Nutson
- 10:58Speaker 1: his meeting with the Brownstime? Can I just can I
- 11:03Speaker 1: just say really quick? Can I just say something really
- 11:04Speaker 1: really quick? This team is all ready it's not on
- 11:10Speaker 1: sturdy enough ground to hire somebody that has so much baggage.
- 11:16Speaker 1: You know, I have people in my mentions it's a business.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah blah. I just don't think whether
- 11:23Speaker 1: he's a phenomenal quarterback or not, and I don't even
- 11:25Speaker 1: think he is. This is bad business. I'm sorry. We
- 11:28Speaker 1: already have a really icky feeling locker room with Baker
- 11:32Speaker 1: and then adding another quarterback that has so much back
- 11:35Speaker 1: that's not gonna be It's not too negatives equally positive.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That's not That's not what it's gonna happen. You're gonna
- 11:41Speaker 1: piss off a lot of your fan base. A lot
- 11:43Speaker 1: of people got listen when I tweet out something that
- 11:46Speaker 1: you know, I say, I do not support this. People
- 11:48Speaker 1: are vocal in the NFL. Okay, everyone's got their opinion.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I think this was one of the things that I
- 11:54Speaker 1: tweeted out in a very long time that people are like,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I agree. I do not want this to happen. This
- 11:59Speaker 1: is going to affect my fandom for this team, and
- 12:04Speaker 1: it just feels so uncomfortable. Like I was thinking about
- 12:06Speaker 1: it while I was golfing this morning. I was almost
- 12:08Speaker 1: in tears because I literally don't even know what I
- 12:09Speaker 1: would do. I don't know what i'd do. I don't
- 12:11Speaker 1: want to go too far into this, but I think
- 12:13Speaker 1: your opinion is very important though. As a woman in
- 12:16Speaker 1: the NFL. In NFL media covering this, we hear from
- 12:20Speaker 1: a lot of men who just kind of brush over
- 12:23Speaker 1: the legal implications or moral implications or ethical implications, like, well,
- 12:28Speaker 1: he wasn't tried by the grand jury, so he's now
- 12:30Speaker 1: free to be traded. And it's like, let me just
- 12:32Speaker 1: say this one thing. It is extremely difficult as a
- 12:37Speaker 1: woman to come forward about sexual assault. It's extremely difficult
- 12:42Speaker 1: to tell your best friend. It's extremely difficult to tell
- 12:44Speaker 1: your parents or your partner. For that person to have
- 12:48Speaker 1: to sit in a court and tell all of these
- 12:51Speaker 1: mostly dudes, that hey, I was sexually assaulted by this person,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I couldn't fathom. I don't have that bravery. I don't personally.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I can't imagine having to do that in a court system,
- 13:03Speaker 1: and that does not come into play at all. And
- 13:06Speaker 1: so I think that that's what's so difficult. That's why
- 13:08Speaker 1: it was so difficult to read Adam Schefter's tweet this week.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's so difficult to hear the conversations happening around the league.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So I don't know if I was gonna stay in
- 13:16Speaker 1: the show. I hope it does, but no, I think
- 13:19Speaker 1: it's important. I think it's important too, Okay, So putting
- 13:24Speaker 1: all of that behind us, I know that this time
- 13:27Speaker 1: for football fans is very, very difficult. Glad. I'm stressing
- 13:31Speaker 1: out checking my mentions all the time. So I have
- 13:35Speaker 1: come up with um sort of like a survival guide
- 13:39Speaker 1: on how to get through the not so off off season. Okay,
- 13:44Speaker 1: Number one, you should have a buddy system so that
- 13:47Speaker 1: if news breaks, you find out from a friend that
- 13:51Speaker 1: loves you, that cares about your feelings, you don't have
- 13:53Speaker 1: to read about You don't have to read Ian Rappaport's tweets.
- 13:56Speaker 1: You don't have to read the breaking news, the trending news.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Someone I'm gonna something of you. I need you to
- 14:01Speaker 1: be my buddy. I need you to call you know me.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know I tweet as soon as I see seth.
- 14:06Speaker 1: If you don't see that I've tweeted that Baker Mayfield
- 14:09Speaker 1: is no longer a quarterback. I need you to call me,
- 14:12Speaker 1: not a text. Yeah, I know you don't like doing
- 14:14Speaker 1: phone calls. Not I call you all the time, That's true.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So I need you to call me, and I need
- 14:21Speaker 1: you to tell me sit down. I need you to
- 14:23Speaker 1: tell me to take a breath, and then I need
- 14:24Speaker 1: you to tell me the bad news. Okay, So have
- 14:26Speaker 1: a buddy number one um too. If your buddy is
- 14:30Speaker 1: with Ian Rappaport, even better have him set up some
- 14:34Speaker 1: kind of emoji. I don't know if it's like the alarm,
- 14:37Speaker 1: like the red alarm, and you know, whenever he's about
- 14:40Speaker 1: to drop, you know, some serious news, just to have
- 14:43Speaker 1: him shoot off that text to you so you know
- 14:46Speaker 1: it's coming, So that you know it's coming. If you're
- 14:48Speaker 1: friends with the n Rappaport, do that. I plan on
- 14:50Speaker 1: doing that. Um, okay, have snacks just at the go
- 14:54Speaker 1: to stressy or you know, to eat your feelings. Whatever
- 14:57Speaker 1: you need to do. Turn off your phone every once
- 15:00Speaker 1: in a while so that when you turn it back on,
- 15:03Speaker 1: you get to feel alive because you have no idea
- 15:06Speaker 1: what you're coming back home to. You know what I mean.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I've never felt more popular when I fly and then
- 15:10Speaker 1: I go off the airplane mode and then I go
- 15:13Speaker 1: on do not Disturb and I like, let it sit.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And then I opened my phone and it's like forty
- 15:18Speaker 1: text messages. Yeah. Well, when I landed on Sunday, I
- 15:21Speaker 1: opened my phone. That's when Brady announced. He's like, oh,
- 15:24Speaker 1: this is great, this is great. Well, it's like there's
- 15:28Speaker 1: always that moment where like you get your signal back,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but then it's like you don't have any text and
- 15:33Speaker 1: you're like, wait a second, I will say, can I
- 15:35Speaker 1: tell a really quick story? So I sold a television
- 15:38Speaker 1: show about my life to TBS, and the news came
- 15:40Speaker 1: out this summer and literally we had been waiting for
- 15:44Speaker 1: this news to come out for weeks, and we were
- 15:46Speaker 1: negotiating and everything was all done and that everything was
- 15:49Speaker 1: getting signed, sealed, delivered, and um variety or Deadline was
- 15:53Speaker 1: putting out some article and we had no idea when
- 15:55Speaker 1: he was coming out. And I was about to board
- 15:58Speaker 1: a plane from Hanada to Los Angeles and I got
- 16:02Speaker 1: a call from my manager before I boarded the plane
- 16:05Speaker 1: and said the articles about to drop, and I said, no,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I've been waiting for weeks for this to come out,
- 16:12Speaker 1: like oh, And when I landed, my phone has never
- 16:16Speaker 1: exploded more. And I just was sitting in coach crying,
- 16:21Speaker 1: crying when I landed at all my best friends calling me,
- 16:25Speaker 1: He's crying, I'm crying. It was a mess. The people
- 16:29Speaker 1: in my road was a very more, very concern. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: got what you're talking about. Yours was a little more set. Um.
- 16:40Speaker 1: So anyways, listen, we're thinking about you people during the
- 16:43Speaker 1: off season, and um, let's just hope that we all
- 16:46Speaker 1: make it out alive. Okay, all right, coming up, we're
- 16:50Speaker 1: playing a very fun game called what lasted longer this
- 16:53Speaker 1: or Tom Brady's retirement. Let's go Okay, welcome back to
- 17:09Speaker 1: the bench with Bonetta Podcast. We have something very fun planned.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We are going to play what lasted longer? This? Or
- 17:16Speaker 1: tom Brady's retirement? Forty days? People? Forty days? Okay? So
- 17:21Speaker 1: I asked Mohan and Junkyard Dog to come up with
- 17:24Speaker 1: some things. I have no idea what they've come up with. UM.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I have heard that Junkyard Dog has some kind of
- 17:30Speaker 1: voice that he wants to try out on the show.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm just gonna introduce this like a game show. Perfect.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm ready host of this game show. Ready for it.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Here we go. It's like a awesome powers. It's time
- 17:45Speaker 1: to play what lasted longer? Was it this or tom
- 17:52Speaker 1: Brady's retirement? Let's get started. What are we winning? There?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Anything to win? Yeah, you gotta win for knowledge riding Fine.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Which number is greater tom Brady's fourth quarter regular season
- 18:13Speaker 1: comebacks or the number of days tom Brady was retired?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Oh god, what he couldn't have had forty fourth quarter comebacks?
- 18:23Speaker 1: That's impossible. No, no, remember it in career, oh his career,
- 18:29Speaker 1: twenty twenty year career. This is gonna be stupid, This
- 18:35Speaker 1: is gonna be so shocking. It's the fourth quarter comebacks.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It is forty two to forty. We made this hard,
- 18:44Speaker 1: Tom Brady. That is incredible. Forty two fourth quarter comebacks.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Next question, Wow, so I can't do that voice. I'm
- 18:56Speaker 1: just that's I don't even want to see you attempted.
- 18:59Speaker 1: U so speak of Tom Brady Baker Mayfield career, interceptions,
- 19:04Speaker 1: careers or days by interception. Final answer, You're sure, hold on,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I feel like you're trying. No, you're credit Well, just
- 19:17Speaker 1: think about it, don't just like? Okay, So forty days retired. Gosh,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I feel like he had so many this year alone.
- 19:24Speaker 1: He also didn't play at every game. This was his
- 19:28Speaker 1: third year. Oh sorry, Baker, but I'm going Baker interceptions
- 19:35Speaker 1: wait to not bite. Oh no, that one was painful.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Oh I two for two. I'm gonna that one's not
- 19:40Speaker 1: even that close. Fifty six. The next question, number of
- 19:48Speaker 1: Brown's wins in the last eleven years since twenty ten
- 19:55Speaker 1: or number of days Tom Brady was retired. It's Tom Brady,
- 20:02Speaker 1: isn't it. That's so sad? Ten years? Oh okay, why
- 20:07Speaker 1: don't say? Final answer, old pondering, Yeah, that's the Browns
- 20:16Speaker 1: have one fifty three games. We had a redeem after
- 20:20Speaker 1: a big girl. Next question, Okay, so we'll get a
- 20:25Speaker 1: little pop culture with you. Here's the show we love,
- 20:28Speaker 1: The Sopranos. Oh okay, shout out yeah. Um So in
- 20:32Speaker 1: that show they kill a lot of people, but they
- 20:34Speaker 1: also drop a lot of F bombs. So the average
- 20:37Speaker 1: number of F bombs per episode, and there's eighty six
- 20:41Speaker 1: episodes of The Sopranos or Days Brady was Retired, which
- 20:46Speaker 1: is forty. Oh, forty is a lot of F bombs
- 20:49Speaker 1: to drop in an hour for the average I think
- 20:51Speaker 1: it's got it. Hold on, hold on, don't pull the
- 20:54Speaker 1: trigger yet. I think let me just let me just
- 20:56Speaker 1: talk a lot. I think that it would be the
- 20:59Speaker 1: forty was like so many F bombs, and they're not
- 21:01Speaker 1: I know that they swear a lot, but they also
- 21:03Speaker 1: say oh whoa. If they was yere, if you were
- 21:06Speaker 1: asking me about the woes, I might say, yes, I'm
- 21:08Speaker 1: gonna go Tom Brady, Days Are Tired? Is more than
- 21:11Speaker 1: the average F bomb. Wow, I love. This was a
- 21:16Speaker 1: bit of a trick question. Yes, but they dropped. They
- 21:18Speaker 1: dropped twenty thousand, five hundred and eight F bombs throughout
- 21:22Speaker 1: eight guys. Did a little math and divide that by
- 21:24Speaker 1: eighty six. It comes out to like forty point seven,
- 21:28Speaker 1: but you can't like have a seventh of an F bomb?
- 21:31Speaker 1: How sorry? How many total F bombs three thousand, five
- 21:34Speaker 1: hundred and eight that over eighty six episode aggressive, So
- 21:37Speaker 1: technically the F bombs is slightly higher. Yeah, I wish
- 21:41Speaker 1: this podcast could just be sponsored by the Sopranos. I'll
- 21:43Speaker 1: talk about it all days. Wow. Okay, next question. David
- 21:50Speaker 1: Blaine once did a fast where he drank only water.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Is this the Aaron Rodgers diet? How many days did
- 21:57Speaker 1: David Blaine spend fasting on water? Was it more days
- 22:02Speaker 1: than Tom Brady was retired or less? That's tough, David Blaine.
- 22:09Speaker 1: One time I tweeted and I said, I really want
- 22:10Speaker 1: to be a magician like you, and he started following me. Wow,
- 22:14Speaker 1: so you should never happened. I feel like somebody would
- 22:18Speaker 1: die if they only had water for forty days. And
- 22:22Speaker 1: if it's not, if he did do that, I feel
- 22:25Speaker 1: like he cheated somehow. He's a magician. That's true. So
- 22:30Speaker 1: it's tough to know what's real. I'm gonna say it
- 22:33Speaker 1: would be concerning if it was forty days. I'm going
- 22:35Speaker 1: to say for David Blaine's well being, Tom Brady is more.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Final answer, But that's such a weird thing for you
- 22:45Speaker 1: guys to pull out your butts. Final answer. Oh alive,
- 22:55Speaker 1: it's a lie. It's all right. So back to TV. Um,
- 23:03Speaker 1: you're on a Yellowstone kick now, I oh yeah, right,
- 23:05Speaker 1: that's what the people are saying. So total number of
- 23:10Speaker 1: episodes of Yellowstone so far or days that Brady was retired.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Number of episodes that have been out so far, if
- 23:19Speaker 1: y'all oh, oh oh oh. I think I might know
- 23:22Speaker 1: this because I think three seasons or ten episodes and
- 23:24Speaker 1: the fourth the first season is only like eight, so
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'm going Yellowstone is less. Finally, I am a hardcore
- 23:35Speaker 1: on Yellowstone. That's your best answer, that's the most well well,
- 23:39Speaker 1: because I remember being bummed if there was only eight
- 23:41Speaker 1: episodes in the first season, so I was like, oh,
- 23:43Speaker 1: this show so good. Right, it's good logic, good logic. Okay,
- 23:46Speaker 1: here we go. Yep. Total spaces on a Monopoly board
- 23:53Speaker 1: or number of days Tom Brady was retired, which is great.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Did you could find that stuff? Is there a website? Okay?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Uh gosh, I feel like it does ten and ten
- 24:06Speaker 1: and ten. Oh my god. I can't play monopoly because
- 24:11Speaker 1: I get too mad at people when I play, so
- 24:13Speaker 1: I'm not as familiar with the board, right, But I'm
- 24:18Speaker 1: going Brady's Brady's more. This is another trick question. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: feel bad, guys. What are we trying to get here?
- 24:27Speaker 1: What are we trying to do? What? What is the answer?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Forty that's a push. I don't have a push. God, alright,
- 24:36Speaker 1: so it doesn't count that one. I should win by default?
- 24:39Speaker 1: All right? Final question for one million points. Okay, your
- 24:48Speaker 1: favorite place to eat in the entire world Tim Horton's
- 24:53Speaker 1: dare years ago that Tim Horton started or days that
- 24:57Speaker 1: Brady was retired? Sorry, the years ago that Tim Hortons
- 25:02Speaker 1: started started? Like how many years has it been? It's
- 25:05Speaker 1: been around for more than forty years? I would think
- 25:10Speaker 1: that is the question. Oh gosh, I wish I had
- 25:13Speaker 1: like photographic memory because I can literally picture everything on
- 25:16Speaker 1: the cup and it says since nineteen eighty. Gosh, it's
- 25:23Speaker 1: gonna be right around there. I'm gonna go Tim Hortons
- 25:28Speaker 1: is round longer? Final answer for for doing for Tim Hortons,
- 25:35Speaker 1: for Tim, do it for Canada. You're sending me up
- 25:37Speaker 1: for a family, you know what, I'm gonna go down
- 25:39Speaker 1: in a blaze of fire. Tim Hortons, Oh when were
- 25:43Speaker 1: they established night too? I think they opened in nine
- 25:50Speaker 1: sixty four. Oh so either either way you would have
- 25:53Speaker 1: gotten all right. Tim Hortons is rocket feel you guys.
- 25:57Speaker 1: You do not want to mess with that coffee. We
- 26:00Speaker 1: did it? What a game? That was fun? I love that. Yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 1: we had a four more, but we've figured that. Okay
- 26:07Speaker 1: for ten minutes? Wow was ten minutes? Well we can
- 26:10Speaker 1: cut that almost all right. We hope that you were
- 26:13Speaker 1: playing along in your car wherever you are, and hopefully
- 26:15Speaker 1: you got some more right than I did. Uh, Okay,
- 26:19Speaker 1: I asked you guys at home. There's a lot of
- 26:22Speaker 1: things going on with free agency. I asked you on
- 26:25Speaker 1: social media, if you were an NFL free agent, what
- 26:28Speaker 1: would you demand before you agreed to a move? And
- 26:31Speaker 1: we got I got hundreds of responses on Instagram, I
- 26:38Speaker 1: got a bunch of dms. I got so many messages.
- 26:41Speaker 1: A lot of people got creative, a lot of people
- 26:43Speaker 1: got weird, a lot of people got creepy. Um. I'll
- 26:46Speaker 1: go first. I think the things that I would demand
- 26:48Speaker 1: a um. Everybody has to dress up for Halloween, and
- 26:52Speaker 1: it's got to be a creative costume. No mailing it in,
- 26:55Speaker 1: no Onesie, no Wolverine Onesie, no hundred that once and
- 26:57Speaker 1: it was despicable. Seamed lunch every week. I think that
- 27:01Speaker 1: that would be fun. And then a team vacation that
- 27:05Speaker 1: the team would pay for and we could all bond
- 27:07Speaker 1: and play ping pong and you know, hang out. So
- 27:11Speaker 1: that's what I'm doing. What are you guys? What are
- 27:12Speaker 1: you guys gonna go with? What are your demands? Uh?
- 27:16Speaker 1: I want a private jet, oh boy, so I can
- 27:18Speaker 1: go anywhere I want and and take some friends. I
- 27:22Speaker 1: want free Chipotle. Wow. Have you ever seen those Chipotle
- 27:26Speaker 1: for those cards? Yeah? Yeah, okay, I want one of
- 27:28Speaker 1: those Chipotle you canna have like whatever you wanted. Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I get it once a week, so it makes sense. Okay, Um,
- 27:35Speaker 1: peanut butter m and m's and uh to go pick
- 27:40Speaker 1: it back off your team building thing. I think team
- 27:42Speaker 1: karaoke would be really fun. Team karaoke. Never done karaoke?
- 27:46Speaker 1: You've never done karaoke? No? I have done karaoke plenty
- 27:49Speaker 1: of times. I raised the roof, I shut down. People
- 27:51Speaker 1: are in awe of my boys. But I've never with you.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I didn't even know that you like, ko, oh yeah, Gregg,
- 27:57Speaker 1: what are you doing? I would request, Now this may
- 27:59Speaker 1: be a little bit not team centric, but I want
- 28:03Speaker 1: my own locker room. All right, you're off the team
- 28:07Speaker 1: after watching Privacy. And I also want to be excluded
- 28:11Speaker 1: and excused from all media appearances because I don't need
- 28:13Speaker 1: the drama and the quotes oh wow, circling, circulating and
- 28:17Speaker 1: h taking stuff out of context. See I can see
- 28:20Speaker 1: that happening with you. They do my job and I
- 28:23Speaker 1: will be the star that you signed to me to be,
- 28:25Speaker 1: But give me some space room. I wassand percent need
- 28:29Speaker 1: my own bathroom, like away from like people aren't even
- 28:32Speaker 1: allowed to look at it. I don't sweaty football player
- 28:37Speaker 1: bums on my toilet, That's what I'm saying. Um okay,
- 28:40Speaker 1: So a lot of the bench with Bonetta listeners are
- 28:43Speaker 1: very smart. They asked for stocks, they want percentages of
- 28:46Speaker 1: the team. So good for y'all. I think that would
- 28:48Speaker 1: be a good plan if you plan planning on staying
- 28:50Speaker 1: with his team forever, because then you're like, you know,
- 28:53Speaker 1: like if Aaron Rodgers own part of the Packers, that
- 28:55Speaker 1: would be kind of cool. Well, all he has to
- 28:56Speaker 1: be is a Wisconsin resident is that I don't work,
- 29:00Speaker 1: you know, doesn't own a little home. Whatever. Okay, so
- 29:03Speaker 1: here are a couple of my favorite I'm just gonna
- 29:06Speaker 1: rhyme these off, and you guys chime in if you
- 29:07Speaker 1: think they're goods at Sam Rose wants weekends off. I
- 29:11Speaker 1: can see that being a problem. Joe Vanilla. Everyone must
- 29:15Speaker 1: wear flip flops in the shower. That's good. Multiple people
- 29:21Speaker 1: requested daily fresh socks. Do you guys not like clean
- 29:25Speaker 1: your socks? Why do you need fresh ones? That's a
- 29:29Speaker 1: weird one. That seems like a very big waste of material.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Life of Zam said, I need that Bobby contract. You know,
- 29:39Speaker 1: the guy that signed a contract with the Mets and
- 29:41Speaker 1: gets paid until he's like literally seventy five years old,
- 29:44Speaker 1: and at the end of the contract, like he gets
- 29:46Speaker 1: five hundred thousand dollars every single year, and by the
- 29:48Speaker 1: time he's seventy five, he will have made like twenty
- 29:50Speaker 1: nine million dollars and he never played a day for
- 29:52Speaker 1: the Mets. Yeah, you guys have never heard of this.
- 29:55Speaker 1: He played for the Mets last in nineteen ninety nine,
- 29:58Speaker 1: but I don't think he actually played a single day
- 30:00Speaker 1: for the Mets. I think you just signed that contract
- 30:01Speaker 1: and then they got him out of the contract. I
- 30:03Speaker 1: could be wrong. I don't know my baseball, but anyways,
- 30:06Speaker 1: that would be lovely. Megan Gaily my Gal says she
- 30:08Speaker 1: wants a Benny Hanna love I should never even been
- 30:12Speaker 1: to a beny Hana. I'm actually going to a beny
- 30:13Speaker 1: Hauna for the first time this Saturday. Wow, have you
- 30:15Speaker 1: ever been to I don't even know what it is.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's where you sit around it, you know what I'm
- 30:19Speaker 1: talking of course, you sit around a table, a chef comes,
- 30:22Speaker 1: there's a hot stove, and they do like fun like
- 30:26Speaker 1: little volcanoes and they flip like shrimp in your mouth.
- 30:30Speaker 1: If you like shrimp in your pocket. The only problem is,
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry, the only problem is your clothes will smell
- 30:39Speaker 1: like it after. That's what Megan did say. She says,
- 30:41Speaker 1: where something that you don't mind having? Absolutely? Yeah, But
- 30:45Speaker 1: somebody throws a shrimp into your pocket? Well, if you
- 30:47Speaker 1: had like a little shirt pocket, they'd be like, why
- 30:49Speaker 1: would anyone want to shrimp in their pocket? It's like
- 30:52Speaker 1: to see if you can catch you know, when you're
- 30:53Speaker 1: like here's a cheese, it like go along and then
- 30:56Speaker 1: no chatted. I don't know. Okay, I felt this one
- 31:00Speaker 1: to my core at Dan Solo said all fans must
- 31:02Speaker 1: reserve cheering until end of the game in case I'm
- 31:05Speaker 1: feeling insecure about the quality slash quantity of cheers that
- 31:08Speaker 1: I get. I like that. I like that a lot.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I like that a lot. Maybe you're having an off day.
- 31:13Speaker 1: It would feel even worse if like the whole stadium
- 31:15Speaker 1: is quiet. Um, okay, what else do we have? Is
- 31:19Speaker 1: he zero three one one my own lake to fish see.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I feel like some of these are really going to
- 31:25Speaker 1: throw off the rest of the team though, and there's
- 31:27Speaker 1: going to be a huge divide. Like Junkyard Dog asking
- 31:29Speaker 1: for his own room. I get that, but like, come on,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I'm a superstar free agent. Put up with it. Um
- 31:35Speaker 1: at Big Dom says, I would demand a camel be
- 31:37Speaker 1: brought into the building every Wednesday for hump Day. I
- 31:41Speaker 1: think Mohan actually said this. This is a very commercial moment.
- 31:47Speaker 1: This is a very dad joke, and I don't respect
- 31:49Speaker 1: it at all, and he would be off the team immediately.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Uh Okay, here's here's one that I actually liked. I
- 31:55Speaker 1: think more players should tell owners to donate to charities
- 31:58Speaker 1: that they are into uh wouldn't count to the cap
- 32:01Speaker 1: and he would provide a lot to the world. Wow,
- 32:04Speaker 1: So it was nice. Other people are like, oh, give
- 32:06Speaker 1: me grilled cheeses and peanut butter remonends, and so I
- 32:11Speaker 1: took a lot of people were just requesting the most
- 32:13Speaker 1: ridiculous food items, and I'm like, guys, you're not gonna
- 32:15Speaker 1: make it in the NFL if you have a McDonald's
- 32:18Speaker 1: soda fountain and you're eating endless cheeseburgers and Chad Johnson
- 32:22Speaker 1: Ocho Sinko replied with, I think something along the lines
- 32:26Speaker 1: of speaking for yourself, a famously big time supporter of
- 32:31Speaker 1: McDonald's and Chad. Yeah, I cannot survive and sustain this
- 32:37Speaker 1: level of with endless grilled cheeses and soda fountads. But um,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you know what I want. I want access to housing
- 32:47Speaker 1: like a SIMS game. Do you guys ever mess with Sims? Absolutely?
- 32:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, I would like so many people on
- 32:51Speaker 1: fire Rosebud cheet code give me all that money, but
- 32:57Speaker 1: I want like a pool in my kitchen for no reason.
- 33:01Speaker 1: You know I'm messing with that. Uh, Okay, finally on
- 33:05Speaker 1: the pod, this is a good episode, guys, the best
- 33:07Speaker 1: thing I saw or heard, and um, you know what,
- 33:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you. Go ahead the base.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Not a whole lot of anything, you guys, Just chaos everywhere,
- 33:22Speaker 1: so many things happening, so many, so many players going
- 33:26Speaker 1: to every single team. The only thing that I am
- 33:29Speaker 1: really wanting to talk about is a the Raptors beat
- 33:33Speaker 1: the Lakers. That's cool, but like, the Lakers really suck
- 33:37Speaker 1: right now. Lebronto over. Lebronto's done. Remember remember when Lebron
- 33:43Speaker 1: kept dominating the Raptors and they dubbed in Lebronto. The
- 33:47Speaker 1: Lakers play the Raptors again, like in a week or two.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So I don't know, maybe, oh he doesn't chuck the
- 33:50Speaker 1: ball at your best player, Um yeah, but I love
- 33:53Speaker 1: his reaction. I watched my dog into watermelon today. That's
- 33:56Speaker 1: another good thing that I saw. This is the This
- 33:58Speaker 1: is off season been at Okay, I'm off in a lot,
- 34:00Speaker 1: I'm taking lots of naps up and I'm trying not
- 34:04Speaker 1: to have a heart attack over all of the off season.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Did you think of the Tom Brady ball that sold
- 34:09Speaker 1: at auction for over That's gonna be some kind of
- 34:14Speaker 1: legal battle. I think, Oh my god, I'd be punching
- 34:19Speaker 1: the fricking wall if I was that guy. Yeah, it
- 34:22Speaker 1: reminds me of this one time where the guy that
- 34:26Speaker 1: I was dating in college, I was actually just telling
- 34:28Speaker 1: the story. He was really into buying a lot of tickets,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and so one time he gave me a number. He's like,
- 34:33Speaker 1: going buy a ticket with this number because I feel
- 34:35Speaker 1: really good about this number, and so I forgot and
- 34:40Speaker 1: the whole there's only there's like a certain cutoff of
- 34:43Speaker 1: time that you can go and get your ticket, and
- 34:47Speaker 1: the whole day after that, he was like, you just
- 34:50Speaker 1: robbed me of, you know, something so special. Obviously it
- 34:54Speaker 1: didn't win, but it kind of reminds me of that moment.
- 34:57Speaker 1: That's kind of like the first class Lady a little bit. Yeah,
- 35:01Speaker 1: so that's full circle. Um, guys, thanks so much for
- 35:05Speaker 1: listening to this podcast every single week, especially in the
- 35:08Speaker 1: off season. I'm actually really enjoying the off season episodes.
- 35:10Speaker 1: They go off a little off the rail and I
- 35:13Speaker 1: am love it every minute. Don't bring it. To subscribe
- 35:16Speaker 1: to the show, follow us on Instagram and Twitter at
- 35:17Speaker 1: Benched Underscore Pod to see the videos clips we talked
- 35:19Speaker 1: about each week with your own eyes. Happy Birthday, mohaw,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Let's go drink some margharite pas. That should be the
- 35:27Speaker 1: outro of every single show. Let's go drink, Let's go
- 35:30Speaker 1: drink some maga, let's got dick some I will clip that.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Bye everybody,
