  was just in EDC Vegas this past weekend and you are still going

  through it a little bit. Yeah, it's a slow recovery.

  But look, I've got all my fingers and toes and I am alive

  I was always conscious the entire time.

  David, that's already a big accomplishment when we go to one

  of these big parties, you haven't been at EDC in ages.

  YouTube video last fall. When you were visiting here

  again, and it was me, you and our friend, Jeremy and you had a

  bag of chips, I was just out of camera.

  And if you the intro of the video, basically, you were

  eating chips. And at one point filming.

  There's a Didn't as the intro for the video, but it was funny.

  I'm definitely not professional or prepared it anyway, but feed

  me with food. Well, feed me interesting thing

  is I've never seen you in action like at work.

  feel like even though I've never seen you like work, work your

  has that thing where there's they have their work mode and

  then they have Like they're not work more like when they're

  someone's like on the job. You know, it's almost like a

  different person because you know they they they're doing

  their work so it's just you know definitely 100 everyone has

  that. Ya know 100% people in America

  probably never differently than people in Australia so it looks

  like I'm two different people which I kind of am because of a

  lot of caffeine that I take you to caffeine at these parties.

  Well, I mean we'll definitely get into that for sure.

  So you actually tapped at EDC this year.

  And how was that experience was actually amazing.

  It was truly a kind of Imagine doing it another way but I

  really feel that I lucked out with the with our friend,

  Brandon James from Chicago, they organized everything, so Good
• 3:25
  Vibes, good organization, good RV, good locations.
• 3:29
  So I just had to say. Yep, tell me where to pee and
• 3:33
  then I was just like a dumb little ventriloquist dummy on
• 3:36
  the ride and they dragged me along and we were getting lit
• 3:39
  and it was amazing. So I am super grateful to them
• 3:43
  but a really good experience overall actually.
• 3:45
  Yeah like EDC every time I went to EDC Vegas specifically for 70
• 3:49
  DC in different places. It is if I guess I've always had
• 3:51
  the most fun but the thing is logistically is one of the more
• 3:54
  difficult parties or festivals to get to.
• 3:58
  Because first of all it's you It's a little ways away from Las
• 4:02
  Vegas like worth of strip is it's out in the Las Vegas
• 4:06
  speedway. Yep.
• 4:07
  And then the second thing is, there's so many people that go.
• 4:11
  I think the stats is something like, they get like a hundred
• 4:15
  thousand people that come in every day.
• 4:17
  Don't quote me on that this mind that bit like a massive amount
• 4:19
  of people that, like, go in every single day, like the
• 4:22
  crowds of just like crazy. It's just a different level than
• 4:25
  like most other festivals, he can go to, it's overwhelming.
• 4:28
  And actually, if If to get from point A to point B, like once
• 4:32
  you're in a place that you choose, it's good.
• 4:34
  But literally, when you're walking at night, sometimes it
• 4:38
  feels like you're walking for 50 years through the crowds of
• 4:42
  people. And yet, people are linking
• 4:45
  hands and everyone's got different agendas.
• 4:47
  But like the best times are when you can stay in one place for
• 4:52
  maybe two or three sets. And then you can sort of really
• 4:54
  get into it. But when you're walking to and
• 4:56
  from it is, it's it's It's a project in and of itself to get
• 5:01
  from one place to another, at EDC, Vegas, the wanna sleep.
• 5:04
  Oh, yeah. What we didn't lose.

  We, I think, my group didn't lose each other that much.

  So overall was success. Thank God for those totems.

  Oh my God, the totems of the best.

  I'm a kind of person where I like to wonder every so often.

  So the what I like to do is I want to know where my group is.

  So usually, the schedule comes out beforehand like which DJs
• 5:25
  and artists are playing at what stage and a lot of my friends.

  I'm we're not That much into EDM music now.

  Like some of our friends, our friends will be like oh let's
• 5:34
  see like this act at this stage, they're on, at this time they go
• 5:37
  through like the whole schedule, the days before leading up to it
• 5:40
  and then I just copy a wherever everyone else is going.

  So I know where everyone is kind of supposed to be like at 10:00
• 5:47
  p.m. the seeing this person at kinetic field 11:30.

  They'll be at Circa ground, see to see this other act.

  So I kind of sort of know, if I ever wonder offer get bogged

  down, or whatever. I don't know.

  should take photos of people's totems early on if possible so I

  kind of sort of have a recollection, what it looks like

  but I kind of like the Wonder around a little bit, but there's

  so much to do at EDC. There's like Rising.

  things you can do. So DNA, like doing anything else

  besides just going to the stages, you were, you're pretty

  group thing it could do, I do. Not have any particular.

  I was just following my ugly stick with the group and I was

  not barely seeing things. So, I was just following the

  group by being around. And then once I got to a place,

  I was just jumping up and down. So yeah.

  The totems and also, we actually did our light up headgear.

  So, Al group had nice, like bunny ears headgear.

  It was your different crowns and things and that really, really
• 6:56
  helped. Yeah, for sure, crowd, for sure,

  it actually helps a lot when You'd break up.

  So yeah. Anyways still coming down but it

  was epic and it's just the scale of it.

  Yeah, they're good and I don't want to think about another

  party at the moment. It's always like that, though.

  Like every time you go to like a big party, it's just that it's

  so tiring to go to one of these parties that like right after

  you get back, you don't want to think about another party for

  like a week. Yeah.

  I don't want to see another Effing like for just yet.

  If you hear any EDM and like the next two or three days, you're

  going to like flip a table. No BPM is possible, hundred

  But the camping experience though, like this, your first

  time, I think we talked a little bit about it earlier.

  It's, I feel like once you've done Camp assuming you didn't

  have like a bad experience at camp.

  But, you know, just some things that could go wrong maybe here
• 7:55
  and there, but like once you do Camp, I feel like it's kind of
• 7:58
  hard to go back to Not doing the camp for EDC.

  Well, the benefits. The main benefit is the note.

  The logistics of not waiting in line for those shuttles are.

  Yeah, born after with the traffic.

  So we literally we had a really good spot with our group.

  So after we were finished at whatever time, we just walked
• 8:15
  back walked across the road and we're able to get to the RV
• 8:18
  within like 10, 15 minutes of leaving the grounds.

  That's really close that I'm using.

  So it's just like a walk and then it's that the whole
• 8:26
  Community is a Vibe and you're sort of living there.

  So it's sort of like a Isn't that sense?

  But you still living at the party and then it's a collective

  space where they continue to party after the 12 hours of
• 8:37
  partying with these, After parties, at these events.

  And so, I don't know how these people did it.

  I tried know how they did it. You did it?

  Yeah, I'm not going to say how did it sunglasses, and parasols
• 8:48
  and umbrellas would need it because it was getting hot in
• 8:50
  the morning. Yeah, it is out in the desert.

  So does get pretty warm. And I feel like the thing with

  the with the cap is your your, at EDC the entire time where for
• 9:00
  a lot of other parties like you go to the party from your hotel,
• 9:03
  your house or whatever and then you leave the party and you go
• 9:07
  back to your hotel or to house you kind of get detached from
• 9:09
  the party. But when you're camping, you're
• 9:11
  never really. Like, a way away from the music
• 9:15
  festival, that you might be in your tent or you might be in
• 9:18
  your RV. And yeah, you're in a bed but
• 9:21
  like you're still kind of sort of there.

  Yeah, you definitely need to be a party person, but you think
• 9:27
  you would be going to a big event, like it.
• 9:30
  See. But you definitely have to Fork.
• 9:32
  A molds have to forego certain Comforts that well for RVs
• 9:39
  depending how you go obviously, a personal space is a little bit
• 9:41
  restricted of. Yeah, chill, you're sharing
• 9:44
  usually, perfect, perfect. Hot showers at our hotel will be
• 9:47
  completely different. So, it's just sort of things
• 9:49
  that you balance it within yourself, but it's an experience
• 9:52
  and it's only what the fourth year thing they've done.

  It's only been recently said, I don't know how long they've had
• 9:57
  campy DC to be completely. Honest, we're not like we
• 10:01
  haven't been going to EDM festivals or EDC for like that
• 10:05
  long. I think the first time we went
• 10:07
  was like 2016 was a very first time I went to any sort of EDM
• 10:10
  festival and it was EDC Vegas. Yeah, I just think yeah.

  If you know people who've done I think that's probably the best
• 10:15
  way to do it but it's I had a good experience.

  Honestly, so overall positive. Yeah, win-win.

  So you went this year, I didn't go for, you know, other reasons

  which were numerous, but I think next year, I've definitely want
• 10:29
  to go I almost met this year, but it was it was very much
• 10:32
  like, well, I won't form of, I don't go.

  And if the stars align and things kind of fall into place
• 10:39
  and it was like not a lot of Hoops for me to jump through to
• 10:42
  like get a ticket and get a shuttle pass and have a place to
• 10:44
  stay and all that but it was just like I didn't feel more
• 10:46
  though. Security was really nice.

  That's all I'll say, that's good there's a there's a little bit

  of subtext there that I think we won't like dive into that

  very aggressive bounces but like we never go to strip clubs.

  Everyone was happy. Probably and everyone serotonin

  and drinks and stuff, but if you are camping in one of the tents,

  there's only so much like stuff. You can look with your hands

  honestly to like, if you're in a tent.

  So you're going to be relying completely on the food there at

  camp at the fleet. There is not cheap.
