  SPEAKER_00: And over the last couple of days, we've talked about writing a book and joining a writing group this year.

  SPEAKER_00: And today I want to give you a third challenge, and this challenge is on a topic that makes some writers kind of uncomfortable.

  SPEAKER_00: Now, why do I say that this makes some writers uncomfortable?

  SPEAKER_00: The reason is because a lot of writers are only concerned with the creative side of writing.

  SPEAKER_00: They would rather hole up in their office, work on their books, and never think about the marketing or the business side of what they do.

  SPEAKER_00: So if that describes you, I want you to consider these questions.

  SPEAKER_00: What if you could make a part-time or a full-time living as a writer?

  SPEAKER_00: How would that change your life?

  SPEAKER_00: What if you had more income to attend conferences, take courses, or join a mastermind on writing?

  SPEAKER_00: What if your income was at a level where you could be more generous to causes you care about?

  SPEAKER_00: Then the final question: what would it feel like to have regular money coming in from your writing-based business?

  SPEAKER_00: Income from things like book royalties, courses, a membership, client work, or more?

  SPEAKER_00: Well, I ask you all those questions because I want you to dream about what could happen when you have more income from your writing or a writing-based business.

  SPEAKER_00: As a writer, I believe that you deserve to be paid for your creative work.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, I worked as a college professor for many years, and over time I built up my writing business so that I was able to quit that college job and do writing full time.

  SPEAKER_00: And I believe that if it happened for me, that it can happen for you too if you get motivated and focused.
