- 0:20Speaker 2: Yeah, can you do my washing? My mom didn't teach
- 0:23Speaker 2: me how to do washing. Just put it in, put
- 0:25Speaker 2: the soap in, and press a button. Can you make
- 0:27Speaker 2: my lunch while you do that? My mom didn't teach
- 0:29Speaker 2: me how to make my life? What is this? This
- 0:34Speaker 2: is exciting stuff?
- 0:38Speaker 1: What God.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Relatable?
- 0:58Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself Whatdy Clark aka Mummy,
- 1:02Speaker 1: and my partner in crime is the Jake Craig aka Daddy.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Let's go and welcome back to where the baddies unite.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Baby.
- 1:08Speaker 1: This is the Relatables Podcast. Yes it is, and Jake
- 1:13Speaker 1: to start. I guess I'm not going to be a
- 1:17Speaker 1: toxic male. I can admit when I was wrong. Oh shit.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Contextually this is a lot better for a Patreon listener.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, we'll go on. We're going, but I'll
- 1:28Speaker 1: take you on the journey. So everyone listening, we'll understand
- 1:31Speaker 1: about three weeks till a month ago, me and Jake
- 1:33Speaker 1: had a heated argument, maybe a fight. Would you call
- 1:37Speaker 1: it a fight about knives?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Would you call it a fight?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, it's the biggest fight of our lives.
- 1:46Speaker 1: About three weeks ago, I walked into Jake's office and
- 1:48Speaker 1: he had these knives just laying there, randomly in his
- 1:52Speaker 1: office where he edits and stuff, not in the kitchen
- 1:54Speaker 1: where you'd keep knives. I'm like, what are you doing
- 1:56Speaker 1: with those knives? He's like, oh man, I've me and Beth,
- 1:58Speaker 1: my girlfriend, look at in a place and we just
- 2:01Speaker 1: thought the next step was to buy knives. And I
- 2:03Speaker 1: was like, what a weird step, and he's and he
- 2:06Speaker 1: went on his on his back foot and was like,
- 2:08Speaker 1: give me all the reasons of why it was a
- 2:09Speaker 1: good purchase, and within a couple of weeks it would
- 2:12Speaker 1: be free. Using girl maths. Yes, And now our congratulations
- 2:18Speaker 1: is in order because my best friend is officially, when
- 2:23Speaker 1: this episode is coming out, moving in with his girlfriend.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Now. Yeah, as when you guys listening to this, I
- 2:29Speaker 2: have already moved in.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So congratulations by friend, thank you very much. And also
- 2:33Speaker 1: on that I wanted to say I was wrong.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Now the knives are free. Yes, I thought I was
- 2:38Speaker 2: gonna have to remind you about that because you said
- 2:41Speaker 2: you did say when we argued about it, they're only free.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You said, I'm right right now up until you move.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So technically when recording this, I am right until this Thursday.
- 2:52Speaker 1: And it's Tuesday right now. So I got two more
- 2:54Speaker 1: days of gloating, but I'll give you it now.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yesterday I was I was just like finishing up what
- 2:59Speaker 2: I was doing and I was going to start watching
- 3:01Speaker 2: some Netflix wind down a bit. I was just in
- 3:03Speaker 2: my office chair and it swivels as all office chairs do,
- 3:06Speaker 2: and so and I kind of just like swiveled around,
- 3:08Speaker 2: and I clocked my little I put the knives back
- 3:10Speaker 2: in the box to keep him safe, and I clocked him.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, I forgot I bought knife
- 3:16Speaker 2: three knives. Still weird.
- 3:18Speaker 1: No, but I'll go one step further and I got
- 3:21Speaker 1: juiced a housewarming gift. It is for you and Beth,
- 3:25Speaker 1: but I feel like Beth's not gonna want it.
- 3:28Speaker 2: No, maybe she will, Dany. Yeah, man, what is this?
- 3:33Speaker 2: This is exciting stuff? What guys? How cool is that? Guys?
- 3:51Speaker 1: This is a free knife because it's a gift. Yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I know, do you reckon, Bodie, this is fucking sick.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Beth is gonna love this, do you reckon? This is
- 3:59Speaker 1: gonna get deep more tis if you show it.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't know. A knife, Yeah, that's kitchen knife. There's
- 4:03Speaker 2: a lot of cooking videos out here. I can't I
- 4:05Speaker 2: need to get this out.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I can't open it.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I'm so happy this, Thank you so much. Explain what
- 4:10Speaker 2: you're saying, man mate, this is a backer at a
- 4:13Speaker 2: what's going to say on the front? Here we go
- 4:15Speaker 2: a Kyoshi Japanese stainless steel chef's knife. Guys, if you're
- 4:20Speaker 2: on YouTube or if you're what, bro, it's got a dragon.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Shut up.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So I walked into the shop. Look at this pretty
- 4:28Speaker 1: cool way. It's got like a picture of a dragon
- 4:30Speaker 1: on a knife. Even look at the detail in the handle.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So good.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So I walked into the like kitchen shop, and the
- 4:38Speaker 1: guy's like, oh, can I help you? And I was like,
- 4:39Speaker 1: oh yeah, I'm looking for a housewoman gift for my friend.
- 4:42Speaker 1: And then he asked me if like he didn't say
- 4:44Speaker 1: Michelin Star, but he asked me if you're like maybe
- 4:46Speaker 1: a culinary chef or something. I was like no. I
- 4:49Speaker 1: was like, how many people walk in here and are
- 4:51Speaker 1: like colony shit knife from there. I was like, nah,
- 4:55Speaker 1: and I was just like, to be honest, he just
- 4:57Speaker 1: weirdly likes knife. So I was like, do you have
- 4:58Speaker 1: any cool ones?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Showed me that.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 5:03Speaker 2: That's all right, man.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So you got two three sets of knives. Now, well
- 5:07Speaker 1: this is just the one off.
- 5:08Speaker 2: But it's a sick knife. This is cooler than the
- 5:10Speaker 2: whole set of knives I bought.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Mate, that's fucking sick.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I don't even know, like I actually I don't even
- 5:18Speaker 2: think I'll use this. Too good to look at, too
- 5:21Speaker 2: good to use. Yeah, I just need to look at it.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I'll just like get one of those magnet things that
- 5:25Speaker 2: you stick to the wall and I just like sit
- 5:27Speaker 2: it on that keep the theme of what you're doing now,
- 5:29Speaker 2: just put in your office.
- 5:30Speaker 1: That's a good idea. I'm not going to tell about
- 5:34Speaker 1: this because this is my this is not ours. This
- 5:37Speaker 1: is fucking technically the podcast paid for it.
- 5:40Speaker 2: But that's all right. That's all right. So you paid,
- 5:43Speaker 2: all right, I don't care You've paid my off of it.
- 5:47Speaker 2: That is Today's is a great start of the episode.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So how do you feel pre moving in with your girlfriend.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I feel good. No, I've been talking to her about
- 5:58Speaker 2: it a bit. I feel I feel ready. I feel
- 6:03Speaker 2: like we spoke about just routine, how different our routines are.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Spoke of her about I was just, I really I
- 6:15Speaker 2: get the weirdest things in my head right. The thing
- 6:17Speaker 2: that I am worried about most is like I actually
- 6:21Speaker 2: I spoke about this on Passenger Princess when I was
- 6:22Speaker 2: just with myself. And so I love Beth obviously, and
- 6:26Speaker 2: I love sleeping with Beth. But the thing I have
- 6:29Speaker 2: been worrying about most is the thought is like sharing
- 6:32Speaker 2: about every single night forever. So I really spoke to her.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, look, it was after
- 6:38Speaker 2: a couple of sleepovers we had. We had two nights
- 6:40Speaker 2: in a row sleeping over. And I was like, I
- 6:43Speaker 2: was like, look, I can't speak for you, but I
- 6:44Speaker 2: assume you like sharing a bed with me. And I
- 6:47Speaker 2: was like, I love sharing a bed with you, but
- 6:49Speaker 2: for some reason tonight, because I'm back at my house,
- 6:52Speaker 2: like I'm mad keen to just sleep alone.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And she said she felt the same. You do get
- 6:56Speaker 1: a better sleep, yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 2: And I was so I was like, okay, cool. So
- 6:58Speaker 2: she's on the same page. So I was saying, I
- 7:01Speaker 2: really want her to be able to tell me if
- 7:04Speaker 2: she wants to sleep alone and not worry about my
- 7:06Speaker 2: feelings because I feel but I also I want to
- 7:10Speaker 2: be able to tell her, we are.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You gonna sleep in this new place alone though, So
- 7:13Speaker 1: we've got the third room is going to be like
- 7:16Speaker 1: my office, but if it's big enough to have something
- 7:20Speaker 1: small and then I'll sleep in there.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But like, honestly, even just like a fucking mattress on
- 7:25Speaker 2: the floor in our own room will be your own bed,
- 7:28Speaker 2: and it will be different. I don't know why, that's
- 7:30Speaker 2: the only thing that I've been thinking about.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Let me introduce you to a king bed, my friend.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I know you just got a new bed.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I didn't fucking get a king when we got beds, though,
- 7:38Speaker 1: because my room I got a king, and my girlfriend
- 7:41Speaker 1: we sleep at Queen at hers, King at mine, basically
- 7:43Speaker 1: your own bed. Like the extra room just makes you feel.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I get such better sleeps even though it is my
- 7:47Speaker 1: bed in my house. She gets better sleeps at my
- 7:50Speaker 1: house together because it's a king bed.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'm so upset I didn't just have but I would
- 7:54Speaker 2: have been so no the king bed wouldn't fit in
- 7:57Speaker 2: my room. Is it longer? I don't know length, it's
- 8:00Speaker 2: definitely what. I don't know about length. If it's not
- 8:02Speaker 2: longer than I should have got one mm.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, damn damn it, bro. But also props to you
- 8:09Speaker 1: for like, I feel like there's a massive stigma in
- 8:11Speaker 1: a relationship that being healthy means sleeping in the same bed,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and like sleeping apart, I'm the same too, like building
- 8:17Speaker 1: that safe environment. Like it's nothing against you. I'm not
- 8:19Speaker 1: attacking you. It's just like I want a good sleep.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I still love you the exact same amount.
- 8:22Speaker 2: But yeah, I know what happened in fucking society when
- 8:26Speaker 2: it was it's weird to not sleep in the same bed.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And they tell you about the time I went to
- 8:31Speaker 2: my Aunti's house and her and my uncle won't sleep
- 8:32Speaker 2: in the same room. And she said that, but she
- 8:34Speaker 2: quickly followed on with because he snores, not because we're
- 8:37Speaker 2: having issues. I was like, whoa, I don't give a.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Fuck, speak of my legs like I want to do that.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Literally, Hey, oh well that's good for you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I guess. I feel like you'll get better at sleeping
- 8:47Speaker 1: together as you're forced to as well.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Oh, ye, but also in like a routine, hers is
- 8:52Speaker 2: wildly different, wakes up super early, likes the train in
- 8:55Speaker 2: the morning. On the opposite, I finally admit to my
- 8:58Speaker 2: I remember there was a bell was a time life
- 9:00Speaker 2: where I was like trying to train early in the morning,
- 9:03Speaker 2: and I was pretending like I liked it. I fucking
- 9:05Speaker 2: hate it, mate. I'll tell you what.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That is relatable for me because I had the same
- 9:11Speaker 1: problem with my girlfriend. She's a morning person. Good for her,
- 9:14Speaker 1: And for like three months I tried to go to
- 9:16Speaker 1: bed at like nine o'clock and wake up at like
- 9:18Speaker 1: five thirty six and get my day started. And I
- 9:21Speaker 1: was like, I fucking hate this. I fucking hated it. Oh,
- 9:23Speaker 1: like everyone around me needs to go better at this
- 9:25Speaker 1: time because I'm not a good sleeper and I wake
- 9:27Speaker 1: up in the morning. I'm like I got too much
- 9:28Speaker 1: free time, and I like work until like eight o'clock.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I don't know, my brain's like just flowing there. I'm like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I've just accepted that I'm not an early morning person. Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I fully accept it. And social media has made me
- 9:38Speaker 1: feel guilty that I'm not a fucking grinder. Yeah, I
- 9:41Speaker 1: was fucking I'm so happy you agree with this. I
- 9:43Speaker 1: was ranching about this the other day in the car, right.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I think that everyone that posts their scientific backed morning
- 9:50Speaker 2: routine can eat a fucking willy. I'm sick of it.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't want to know about the fucking stripper tape
- 9:56Speaker 2: you put over your mouth and the ice bat you
- 9:58Speaker 2: get into at five thirty am.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Okay. I've also been a massive advocate for when I
- 10:02Speaker 1: train in the morning, I can't get a good pump.
- 10:05Speaker 1: My body's not even awake yeteah. And then I'm here
- 10:07Speaker 1: moving weights and it's like, oh, yeah, I feel sick.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, get me out of it. I genuinely feel nauseous
- 10:11Speaker 2: when I train, and everyone always says I feel so
- 10:13Speaker 2: good after I'm like, oh, that was a waste of
- 10:14Speaker 2: a workout.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I feel terrible, you know what.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I feel like I have I get more done in
- 10:20Speaker 2: a day when I wake up, So I assume my
- 10:25Speaker 2: little routine like that I just do is I wake up,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I put coffee on, and then I have a shower,
- 10:29Speaker 2: so it's like I have a shower it straight away,
- 10:30Speaker 2: have a shower, and then I'll go I'll drink my
- 10:33Speaker 2: coffee on the balcony for like five minutes and then
- 10:35Speaker 2: I'm not even done my coffee, and I go in
- 10:37Speaker 2: and I sit at my computer, and I like to, like,
- 10:39Speaker 2: within thirty minutes of waking up, I like to start
- 10:41Speaker 2: working because I do find like I'm not.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Motivated to train, but I'm motivated to sit down.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Get the gears turn. Yeah.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and so then.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'll work up until nine, eat breakfast, and then work
- 10:52Speaker 2: again until I go to gym, Go to gym, come back. Wait.
- 10:54Speaker 1: That's just how it works for me, and I love it.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I feel like we're the same. Yeah, fucking the early
- 11:01Speaker 2: morning training thing and even avoid training. Like the way
- 11:03Speaker 2: my day worked out today, I need a train in
- 11:05Speaker 2: the ARVA today, and I'm not keen.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you what's crazy that brings up a crazy point,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I reckon. I feel like it's relatable for girls. How
- 11:11Speaker 1: do girls get up and not shower?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Girls?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Actually, they all do it, whoa, And I feel like
- 11:20Speaker 1: it's to do with something. It's annoying to get your
- 11:22Speaker 1: hair wet, so they just got on the routine of
- 11:23Speaker 1: not doing it in the morning. I know you can
- 11:25Speaker 1: get your hair not wet if you like put in
- 11:26Speaker 1: the like in a pony and you don't put your
- 11:28Speaker 1: head under.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever, it's just a lot more effort.
- 11:29Speaker 1: But every girl I've ever met just doesn't share in
- 11:31Speaker 1: the morning, And I'm like.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I need that to wake up. Yeah wait what?
- 11:35Speaker 1: And I don't want the argument or I had a
- 11:37Speaker 1: shower the night before. I was like, you sweat for
- 11:38Speaker 1: like ten hours in bed. You don't agree with that,
- 11:40Speaker 1: but I do? No, No, I sweat in bed.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Definitely maybe we sweat more because we're men. There's definitely
- 11:46Speaker 1: a roma that comes off me more in the morning,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and you get that stuff off.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I agree. Why I smell different in the morning.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and when I went because we've just been seeping
- 11:55Speaker 1: in our own stink for ten.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Hours eight hours?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Wow, you know I don't Maybe girls don't have that
- 12:01Speaker 1: same feeling.
- 12:02Speaker 2: No, there's such a good weight that they're not wanting
- 12:06Speaker 2: the hair wet. I get, right. But also it's like
- 12:08Speaker 2: you can put it up, So why are you just
- 12:10Speaker 2: going to work dirty? Well, I don't think they're dirty,
- 12:14Speaker 2: but like, because I know, I understand you probably had
- 12:16Speaker 2: a shower the night before. Yes, one of the main
- 12:19Speaker 2: reasons I actually have a shower is so second reason
- 12:22Speaker 2: is to get clean, right, it's actually not my main reason.
- 12:24Speaker 2: My main reason is just to fucking feel good. The
- 12:26Speaker 2: wake up. Yeah, it's the laker.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I finished all my shells on cold water or do
- 12:30Speaker 1: you yeah, last like minutes just cold water. It's like
- 12:32Speaker 1: my favorite thing in the world and just wakes me
- 12:34Speaker 1: up and I feel rejuvenated.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Here's another thing I'm willing to admit, all right, I
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm just I don't.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Give a fuck that I don't have cold bars or
- 12:43Speaker 1: cold showers.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Like I don't think I'm sorry. I just I think
- 12:47Speaker 2: it's a lie that a cold water therapy and cold
- 12:50Speaker 2: therapy it is fucking like it's good for me to help.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I just disagree because you dread it.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I disagree slightly.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I do feel a lot better after it, like cold showers,
- 13:01Speaker 1: like in summer of the best, but also in winter
- 13:02Speaker 1: you just like, oh wow, that was good. But I
- 13:04Speaker 1: can understand why our ice bas suck because I dread
- 13:06Speaker 1: that every single time I did it. Fair you go
- 13:08Speaker 1: through phases. I guess the whole thing with the ice
- 13:10Speaker 1: path is dreading it. Getting past the dread or like
- 13:13Speaker 1: fighting the dread. The good thing about is there sign
- 13:16Speaker 1: there is sigence behind, like it's good for your muscles. Yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I prefer a sauna. Well, they go hand in hand,
- 13:21Speaker 1: both have different benefits.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Fucking ice bas man.
- 13:24Speaker 1: But I had one final little bit of housekeeping.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I guess I admitted I'm not a toxic mail. I
- 13:29Speaker 1: could admit when I'm wrong. But now with you moving
- 13:33Speaker 1: an hour and a half away to Sydney, you are
- 13:34Speaker 1: now living there. I think I can say this on
- 13:38Speaker 1: the podcast. I think you can say it more so,
- 13:40Speaker 1: do you have insurance in your car yet?
- 13:43Speaker 2: No? Fucking hell? So? No, I have the normal like
- 13:49Speaker 2: third body, just the normal comprehensive you do, Wait, it's.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Third part is the worst comprehensive. You wouldn't comprehensive on
- 13:56Speaker 1: your I have comprehensive because I have an ice car.
- 13:57Speaker 2: No, I don't have. I don't have. You don't have
- 13:59Speaker 2: any insurance? Fuck So yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 1: In the last in one week, I've seen two rear endings.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yeah right, right right, So this brings up a great point.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And last week we talked about what would we do
- 14:10Speaker 1: if one of us died?
- 14:11Speaker 2: Right?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Oh, and like this is still not like it's not
- 14:13Speaker 1: gonna happen obviously, but I was thinking about you're going
- 14:16Speaker 1: to be driving up to this studio twice maybe three
- 14:18Speaker 1: times a week. If we do something, you might stay
- 14:20Speaker 1: here whatever. And I know you're fine with your car
- 14:24Speaker 1: doing it and the car does a good job, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I kind of feel like.
- 14:29Speaker 1: You should get a safer car.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I know you don't doing it. I'm going to Kay
- 14:34Speaker 2: Tuesday mornings, I'm going to drive here record and I'm
- 14:36Speaker 2: going to stay here and then drive home Wednesday after
- 14:39Speaker 2: we record on Wednesdays.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm only doing.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It the trip twice, right, Yeah, I do it that
- 14:44Speaker 2: much already.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I know you did that, but I was thinking, like,
- 14:46Speaker 1: that's for Beth. This is for me for your job,
- 14:49Speaker 1: which you feel bad if I come in to see you.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I don't feel bad, but if you did, I'm like,
- 14:53Speaker 1: if you're putting that much ks on, say you do
- 14:54Speaker 1: that for a whole year.
- 14:55Speaker 2: That's a lot of driving.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Okay. I was like, you mo as well, here's a proposal.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I I'm not like a big influence. I can't buy
- 15:01Speaker 1: you a fucking g wagon and you're gonna pay half
- 15:04Speaker 1: of it. But I'm saying, let's propose putting a business
- 15:07Speaker 1: on the car for you to get up here on
- 15:09Speaker 1: the business. Yeah, for you safe, you pay for half
- 15:11Speaker 1: of it. But I wish I could buy you a
- 15:13Speaker 1: g Wagon man. But I think it's a good thing
- 15:15Speaker 1: because even though I'd feel terrible because you wouldest because
- 15:17Speaker 1: if you touch, not really wishing that you can buy
- 15:20Speaker 1: me a empty gesture, but if you touch anything in
- 15:25Speaker 1: your car, you're dead, literally, anyone who's not from Australia.
- 15:27Speaker 1: This car is like a clown car. Yeah, it'site. I
- 15:30Speaker 1: like it and it's good, but it's a shopping car
- 15:32Speaker 1: getting you from A to B, not to zip around,
- 15:34Speaker 1: not driving an hour and a half every single week.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Fair, It's okay. Look, I understand it's not safe. That's fair.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'll look it out for you. Well been that is fair.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It's just I don't like the thought of getting like obviously,
- 15:48Speaker 2: being in a position to be able to get a
- 15:49Speaker 2: car on the business is nice, right, but I don't
- 15:52Speaker 2: like the thought of getting one for me and not
- 15:55Speaker 2: one for you.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Now, it will work out in the end, like your track,
- 15:58Speaker 1: how much, you'll also be a tax deduction for us
- 16:00Speaker 1: all your because you're coming down here so often, our
- 16:02Speaker 1: fue will become a tax deduction, bring tax income down.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Won't drive much in Sydney to be fair.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You know, but yeah, but you want to put your
- 16:09Speaker 1: fuel for the business. So it's a taxable deduction for us,
- 16:12Speaker 1: which is really good. But I'm just saying, like I
- 16:13Speaker 1: don't know, I feel like it's a safety measure and
- 16:16Speaker 1: like insurance that if something bad does happen, like you
- 16:20Speaker 1: sent me protected. Is your guys of air bags, I
- 16:22Speaker 1: hope So.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Two thousand and nine they are surely mate Like I
- 16:28Speaker 3: like it too, and it's like it's a cool car,
- 16:30Speaker 3: like to whip around in it.
- 16:31Speaker 1: But fucking driving to Sydney, I was like, oh, this
- 16:33Speaker 1: guy's doing it every single week. And if we're in
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm not saying we're going to do it. It's going
- 16:36Speaker 1: to stretch us. But when we're in the position to
- 16:38Speaker 1: do so, let's just tick the box of getting Jake
- 16:39Speaker 1: and newer car fucking driving in out. Okay, okay, okay,
- 16:42Speaker 1: which is a good idea fairfairfare, wrinkles.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I wanted to iron out.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I do want to because of passenger Princess.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Ah, my car is I think all cars would be
- 16:54Speaker 2: shipped for audio, but mine is extra ship for.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Man, here's you go straight to straight to business. We're
- 17:00Speaker 1: talking about yourself safety and well being and you're like, no.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I don't give I've never once thought about my safety.
- 17:05Speaker 1: More being in my car. Yeah, maybe you really need insurance.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So fucking hell, I don't know if I'm just like
- 17:09Speaker 1: really cautious, but fuck me, no.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know. It's crazy that I have seen. Yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 2: I've seen two. This morning, I drove past a big
- 17:19Speaker 2: range Rover had like crushed the back of like a
- 17:23Speaker 2: mid sized suv smaller than that, and oh fuck, I
- 17:26Speaker 2: was just thinking, that's so devo the ruins there, Oh
- 17:28Speaker 2: that ruin there, Martha, Oh yeah, one hundred percent because
- 17:31Speaker 2: this guy that hit hit the car in front of
- 17:32Speaker 2: him has to pay for that and then also has
- 17:34Speaker 2: to pay to get his European range Rover fixed.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That's so funny. That's the cell I always think, like,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I know, it's just like Petty be like, ah, he's
- 17:41Speaker 1: got the money drinking, he's got insurance.
- 17:42Speaker 2: That's exactly what I said.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I was like, he doesn't range rover, he's got the money.
- 17:45Speaker 2: What if he doesn't, What if he's struggling right now,
- 17:47Speaker 2: is just getting skating by.
- 17:48Speaker 1: It'd be interesting to see who has insurance I think
- 17:51Speaker 1: you're in the minority that doesn't have any insurance.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Oh no, I know you'd be fucked if you. My
- 17:56Speaker 2: dad is My dad has been trying to get me
- 17:58Speaker 2: to get insurance phages, and I ended up just lying
- 18:00Speaker 2: to him and telling him I had it.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Hell, I was like, yeah, I got it. Third party
- 18:04Speaker 1: in your car would be like six hundred bucks. I
- 18:06Speaker 1: don't know, and then if you crash into someone, you
- 18:09Speaker 1: could be up for like five thousand dollars, which you
- 18:11Speaker 1: probably like barely.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Hay. Also, I've been randomly It's okay, it's got nothing
- 18:17Speaker 2: to do with me get in my house, sprayed and
- 18:18Speaker 2: it's got nothing to me, nothing to new, It's got
- 18:20Speaker 2: nothing to do with me hating them either. Okay, I
- 18:23Speaker 2: keep getting fucking Huntsmens in my car for some reason.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Here's me get you a safe car, and you're like,
- 18:31Speaker 1: all right, I did a good one for sound for
- 18:32Speaker 1: my new passenger Princess show, and then my car's infective
- 18:36Speaker 1: with spider so I want a new one. It's I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: fucking sick of it.
- 18:40Speaker 2: You know what I went and bought. I bought the
- 18:41Speaker 2: bug bomb. I don't care about it.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I see you wanted to just like they go away.
- 18:46Speaker 2: So if you but if there was a huntsman inside
- 18:48Speaker 2: your car, you wouldn't be freaking out, like if I
- 18:50Speaker 2: see it and then it goes awow, like what's going?
- 18:52Speaker 2: But it's in there still, It's got in there somehow,
- 18:54Speaker 2: Like cars aren't sealed completely. I wish it was.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously mine's not. Yeah, yours is at all? Man,
- 19:00Speaker 1: your probably has like a rust hole somewhere you don't
- 19:02Speaker 1: even know about.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I fucking I just hate them. I just hate them.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And I just I've bought three bug bombs and put
- 19:09Speaker 2: one in the boot, one in the middle, and one
- 19:11Speaker 2: in the front, but not.
- 19:12Speaker 1: That there's space between them. And I'm just gonna leave
- 19:14Speaker 1: it for a couple of hours. You're gonna suit the
- 19:16Speaker 1: city when you're there, little city.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Boy, think about cities, and no fucking spiders from the
- 19:21Speaker 2: trees are going to be coming into my.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Car, less bugs or anything like that.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And I got under cover cart parking in my new place.
- 19:26Speaker 1: It must be nice, Jake, You know what still blows
- 19:35Speaker 1: my mind?
- 19:36Speaker 2: No, I don't. You should know how connection.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The biggest way still to grow a podcast in twenty
- 19:44Speaker 1: twenty five, but still sounds crazy to say is.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Word of mouth.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that is kind of wild, which is.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Crazy to me.
- 19:52Speaker 1: And this next segment, although we only have ten percent
- 19:55Speaker 1: male listeners, I think would really benefit from telling a
- 20:00Speaker 1: friend about the said things we're about to talk about,
- 20:03Speaker 1: because yes, this is things girls want guys to know.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So we get a very unique insight, which we are
- 20:10Speaker 1: very grateful for, on what ladies like, what they don't like,
- 20:14Speaker 1: what they want men to do, they want men not
- 20:17Speaker 1: to do. And let's just rattle some off and see
- 20:19Speaker 1: what happens.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Eh, yeah, all right, I'll go first, go for it.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Things girls want guys to know. Liking our ig stories
- 20:28Speaker 2: is useless if you don't dm us. Oh agreed.
- 20:32Speaker 1: It's just like a cheap effort. Yeah, it's sort of
- 20:36Speaker 1: like sort of like I'm a bitch. I think you're cute,
- 20:40Speaker 1: but I'm also a pussy.
- 20:42Speaker 2: It's just like you get stuck in a vicious cycle
- 20:45Speaker 2: of you end up just you end up just liking
- 20:48Speaker 2: each other's stories like anyway, and like then you just
- 20:51Speaker 2: neither one of you ever get the balls to It's
- 20:53Speaker 2: such a minimal effort thing.
- 20:55Speaker 1: It really doesn't do anything.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Actually, that's a good point. That is the that's lower
- 20:59Speaker 2: than the bare minimum.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I suppose it like gasses you up
- 21:02Speaker 1: a little bit, like, oh yeah, there's a couple of
- 21:03Speaker 1: guys like my story, but like I've never once thought
- 21:05Speaker 1: of a liking like.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Hope they message me. No, that's actually well. I mean
- 21:09Speaker 2: if you see the person that you want to actually
- 21:11Speaker 2: message you like your story, and they and they like
- 21:14Speaker 2: your story, you probably get your hopes up a bit.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Do you reckon?
- 21:16Speaker 1: It's like, you know, in marketing, how we learn about
- 21:19Speaker 1: seven points of contact before you buy something?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Do you reckon?
- 21:22Speaker 1: We've by what you're buying your boy, you're buying new girl?
- 21:26Speaker 1: Do you reckon? It's like a point of contact when
- 21:28Speaker 1: you see he or she's name on the likes. That's
- 21:31Speaker 1: like the first point of contact. Contact two was a DM.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I don't know what other contacts. Maybe liking an old
- 21:36Speaker 1: photo is contact point number two. I don't know if
- 21:39Speaker 1: I can get seven here.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Okay, the last step would obviously be a d we
- 21:43Speaker 2: go No, let's we know we can go further back. Yeah, right,
- 21:45Speaker 2: we can. How it can help you out of here?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Number one is you see him or her on a
- 21:53Speaker 2: mutual friend's story.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's how you figure out who they are. That's one
- 21:57Speaker 1: contact number? What contact number one? Number two is you
- 22:00Speaker 1: find out because they weren't tagged.
- 22:02Speaker 2: In that right where you live. No, I think that
- 22:06Speaker 2: might be what some of the some of the baddies
- 22:08Speaker 2: might have been thinking. But no, okay, So number two
- 22:12Speaker 2: is you find out name because that so first of all,
- 22:16Speaker 2: they weren't tagged story and you're like, who is that?
- 22:18Speaker 2: I need to find out their name? So number two
- 22:20Speaker 2: is name point of contact number two. Tick. Number three
- 22:23Speaker 2: you go through you follow, yeah, okay, follow follow ye.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I think contact four is then following you back. Okay,
- 22:30Speaker 2: that's seeing their name again. Yeah. Yeah. Number five they
- 22:33Speaker 2: post a story you like it almost there? Okay, that's
- 22:36Speaker 2: the fine. Okay.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Number six could be old photo like old.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Photo like number seven message they just figured out how
- 22:44Speaker 2: to find mom. We use marketing tactics to find love.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Big brain, any brains listening right now? Look how smart
- 22:51Speaker 1: we are.
- 22:53Speaker 2: To sell to sell your product, sign up for our
- 22:56Speaker 2: free online course.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I sell a peer scheme. That's funny. Sorry, yeah, that's funny.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Things girls want guys to know. It's not cool to
- 23:09Speaker 1: be unbothered, be bothered, be very bothered, be chalant. Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: please be schalant. I saw one that was like, don't
- 23:18Speaker 1: be nonchalant, You're not. Yeah, b chalon and be like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I don't know, be sassy. Before this podcast started, me
- 23:26Speaker 1: and Jake were talking about a guy on the gym
- 23:28Speaker 1: who like tries to look really cool and unbothered and
- 23:32Speaker 1: it makes us hate him. And it must be the
- 23:34Speaker 1: same thing for girls when a guy's like, oh, I'm
- 23:36Speaker 1: so cool, I don't care any feelings, Like yeah, let
- 23:39Speaker 1: me just have my little coffee with my Solomon shoes on.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I'm just but you don't the only thing that doesn't
- 23:46Speaker 2: make you that person is that you don't drink coffee.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I don't drink coffee. I'm not at a coffee.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So have you seen the stigma around Solomon shoes because
- 23:54Speaker 1: they're a hiking shoe and just yeah, they're dedicated to
- 23:57Speaker 1: be like an ultramouth on shoe or a hiking shoe.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But recent times, two years maybe three years ago, they've
- 24:03Speaker 1: really come into like fashion and like it's nonchalant, unbothered
- 24:07Speaker 1: guys who were wearing him drinking that what's like a
- 24:09Speaker 1: typical like wanka coffee. Okay, then let me think like
- 24:13Speaker 1: a piccolo.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah, a piccolo in hands Solomon's if you drink a
- 24:19Speaker 3: piccolo if I was, if I was to be standing, actually,
- 24:22Speaker 3: any Buris is out there, please if a man, like
- 24:25Speaker 3: a full grown man comes in order to piccolo, what
- 24:28Speaker 3: vibe is that kid?
- 24:29Speaker 2: A piccolo is just straight up like a fucking It's
- 24:32Speaker 2: like this big of a cup and espresso shot and
- 24:34Speaker 2: you just put like a spoon or a couple spoonfuls
- 24:37Speaker 2: of milk foam in it.
- 24:38Speaker 1: We have a friend right who's on his like pyramid
- 24:41Speaker 1: scheme grind kind of. He's still a good bloke and
- 24:43Speaker 1: he drinks a piccolo, so it's fitting. He ordered one
- 24:46Speaker 1: once and I was like, what, Like, I was just
- 24:47Speaker 1: a picko head before the gym, and I was like,
- 24:48Speaker 1: that's kind of weird. I feel like it's picked me
- 24:52Speaker 1: a it's.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Fucking picked me to get a picolo. Things girls want
- 24:59Speaker 2: guys to know. If we say we don't care about
- 25:02Speaker 2: certain women, you follow, it means we care.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Ooh interesting, that's a good insight to be fair.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, the easiest thing to do is if
- 25:11Speaker 2: you don't know, I'm just unfollowing them.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's honestly really easy and like, there's no point
- 25:15Speaker 1: in defending someone you don't know facts, bro, Like I
- 25:22Speaker 1: can understand the argument of being like, oh I went
- 25:24Speaker 1: to school with them, like even like it doesn't really matter.
- 25:26Speaker 1: But I can understand the argument you want to keep
- 25:27Speaker 1: up with people like that. But if like you're just
- 25:29Speaker 1: following me, like oh, who's that and it's just like
- 25:31Speaker 1: I don't know she's hot?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Like what dad, I've never heard someone say like that.
- 25:35Speaker 2: What's the Like, there's no good reason to defend your
- 25:41Speaker 2: reason to follow the person that you don't even know. Hm.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I've been going through an unfollowing scree to be fair. Really,
- 25:47Speaker 1: I feel bad, like because I feel like some people
- 25:50Speaker 1: do this to me as well. But like when they
- 25:51Speaker 1: post something, I was like, oh I forgot I follow
- 25:53Speaker 1: you and I unfollow.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah no, I've gone.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I could actually go through again and do an unfollows.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I probably should go through that spree, but I'm kind
- 26:02Speaker 1: of liking the little like oh they pop up and
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, yeah, I want to see it, or
- 26:05Speaker 1: I don't unfollow.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, like Tinder, you missed that life. Not really.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I was never to be fair.
- 26:14Speaker 2: No no, no, no shit, not unless we were paid
- 26:16Speaker 2: for I was.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Okay, okay, things girls want guys to know that we
- 26:27Speaker 1: aren't your mothers. Oh that's a good one. Yeah. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: feel like a lot of men coming out of high
- 26:33Speaker 1: school find out out the hard way that they've been
- 26:36Speaker 1: babied for a.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Long long time. Yeah yeah, yeah, wait, wow, that's a
- 26:42Speaker 2: good point.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Actually they've been and they don't want they won't accept it. No, no,
- 26:46Speaker 1: they will never admit that, and then they sort of
- 26:48Speaker 1: bring toxic tendencies what's the word tendencies into their relationship
- 26:53Speaker 1: because they think that is normal for a female in
- 26:55Speaker 1: their life to do those roles.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, can you do my washing? My mom didn't teach
- 27:02Speaker 2: me how to do washing, Just put it in, put
- 27:04Speaker 2: the soap in, and press a button. Can you make
- 27:06Speaker 2: my lunch while you do that? Didn't teach me how
- 27:09Speaker 2: to make my line? My worst one is like that,
- 27:13Speaker 2: I have the worst one that I do that I'm
- 27:15Speaker 2: like guilty of and like recently of like kind of
- 27:18Speaker 2: realized it's not good. And then it is the having
- 27:23Speaker 2: different ah what's it called? Having different like standards of
- 27:30Speaker 2: clean oh, like in in your own room and stuff.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Obviously it's like you do what you want, but it's
- 27:38Speaker 2: kind of like I've kind of realized, like there is
- 27:40Speaker 2: really only one standard of clean, and that's just like
- 27:42Speaker 2: the definition of clean.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's like, give me example what you're talking about.
- 27:45Speaker 2: So like if I maybe like a drop a piss
- 27:50Speaker 2: on the toilet seat, right, like one drop a piss
- 27:53Speaker 2: to me actually isn't a big deal, but like to Joanna,
- 27:56Speaker 2: it's a big deal. And I'm like, oh, we have
- 27:57Speaker 2: different standards of clean, And I'm like, it's just fucking
- 27:59Speaker 2: likezing my incompetence, right because it's not that hard to
- 28:01Speaker 2: just wipe a but it's fucking pissed off the toilet
- 28:03Speaker 2: seat pretty yeah, Like that's just fucking But like it's
- 28:06Speaker 2: just kind of stuff along those lines, like just little things,
- 28:08Speaker 2: you know, Like I'm like, oh, we have different levels
- 28:11Speaker 2: of clean, but it's kind of like not fair to
- 28:12Speaker 2: say that when it's a joint space.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Better example might be you haven't dusted your bedside table
- 28:16Speaker 1: for a couple of weeks, yeah, but they do it
- 28:18Speaker 1: every single week on a Saturday.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Or even I don't know, yeah, just like I don't know,
- 28:23Speaker 2: maybe last time she dusted the TV cabinet and now
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's super dusty and I'm like, oh, but that's not
- 28:28Speaker 2: dusty enough for me to dust yet, so you should
- 28:30Speaker 2: just do it again if you want it done again. Like,
- 28:31Speaker 2: that's kind of not fair.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I feel like that brings up a good point for
- 28:35Speaker 1: us as well, Like you're very self aware and you
- 28:39Speaker 1: can admit when you're although you think that's fine, you
- 28:43Speaker 1: can see that it's wrong, Like you can see how
- 28:46Speaker 1: it affects someone else. You're not just being like, no.
- 28:48Speaker 2: This is hell, I do it. Just do with it.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah, like you're like, what's some Yeah, it's just self aware.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I think it. Yeah, I think. I don't know. I
- 28:54Speaker 2: think a lot of people like would also feel maybe
- 28:56Speaker 2: a bit attacked if that was like when I was younger,
- 28:59Speaker 2: I definitely would have. Like, I think the feeling of
- 29:03Speaker 2: feeling attacked when someone's just given you constructive criticism is
- 29:06Speaker 2: like maybe the feeling of it's like you feel incompetent,
- 29:11Speaker 2: So I'm going to take this as an attack and
- 29:12Speaker 2: be like whoo, you.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Know, I feel like I'm guilty of that, and guys retaliate.
- 29:17Speaker 1: So what also happens taking a step back in the
- 29:19Speaker 1: relationship rather than the partner bringing it up as your
- 29:21Speaker 1: sister or like any relationship they would just do it themselves. Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: and then it kind of makes a hierarchy in the household,
- 29:27Speaker 1: which isn't healthy at all because they're scared of how
- 29:30Speaker 1: you will react. Yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 2: You know what's made me think is that, you know,
- 29:32Speaker 2: the toilet seed argument of up and down between relationships
- 29:35Speaker 2: and trying to think like they were built to be
- 29:37Speaker 2: down to try and thinking really logically, like I understand
- 29:42Speaker 2: you put it up a piss, but they were built
- 29:43Speaker 2: to be a lead for a reason.
- 29:45Speaker 1: You should get one of those like toilet seats that
- 29:47Speaker 1: like shuts like really slowly and like it's sort of
- 29:50Speaker 1: like really nice to look at, so you do it,
- 29:52Speaker 1: like that's cool. Yeah, flick you watch it rather than
- 29:56Speaker 1: those ones go yeah mine just yeah, it's like annoying things.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Girls want guys to know that jackhammering should only be
- 30:04Speaker 2: done to fix things and in no other context.
- 30:08Speaker 1: M are we I like to use the term like
- 30:11Speaker 1: not I don't like to do it, but like rabbit,
- 30:12Speaker 1: is that what we're talking I think we're talking about
- 30:14Speaker 1: a bit of rabbit, a bit of rabbit.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Act.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think there's really a place for that
- 30:19Speaker 1: too often, I agree, unless like they've finished you need
- 30:22Speaker 1: to finish, and like they're like finished now, and you're like, okay,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I can go go to town. I think that's the
- 30:27Speaker 1: only place for it. Like I can see how it's
- 30:29Speaker 1: not very good for them.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, like they've finished intil they go, they
- 30:33Speaker 2: say they're done, so you're just like okay, sweet, like
- 30:35Speaker 2: give me literally ten seconds, and then for that ten
- 30:37Speaker 2: seconds they're just like yeah, it's like cool, good, he's good. Fuck.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, to be fair, it is some
- 30:48Speaker 1: personal preferences. Yeah, some people might like it.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like faster.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I like to say about a rabbit.
- 30:55Speaker 2: One of our friends got described as a gentle lover
- 30:57Speaker 2: one time, and I got to say, I fall under
- 30:59Speaker 2: that how to go I'm a gentle lover. I am
- 31:03Speaker 2: a gentle lover.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I'm too nice to go through and through. Yeah, I
- 31:08Speaker 1: think I have to. I don't know that, dog.
- 31:13Speaker 2: I wish I did sometimes.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing's ever just like overcome me and I've just
- 31:18Speaker 1: turned into like a fucking I try to find it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I feel like I couldn't take myself too seriously. If
- 31:23Speaker 1: I'm like trying to I try to find start cringing
- 31:27Speaker 1: at yourself.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Honestly because I have to do it. I do it
- 31:31Speaker 2: in like a pist take way, like see, I feel
- 31:34Speaker 2: like if you do it in a piss take away,
- 31:35Speaker 2: you'll cringe. But if you lean into it then it
- 31:36Speaker 2: might not all right.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Things girls want guys to know. We can't read your mind,
- 31:43Speaker 1: so tell us how you're feeling.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Facts, easy, simple, that's a good one. Things girls want
- 31:49Speaker 2: guys to know twirl us around every time we finish
- 31:52Speaker 2: getting ready to go out somewhere nice.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I don't know about that, you know, like the like
- 31:58Speaker 1: the like a ballerina, Like, oh.
- 32:00Speaker 2: My god, you looks so good tiling around. I kind
- 32:02Speaker 2: of want to try that.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I feel like that would be good if I had a daughter.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I don't know about girlfriend. That's a romantic thing. You
- 32:07Speaker 1: reckon try it with a girlfriend. I haven't tried it.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So I can't speak. I felt like I was going
- 32:13Speaker 2: to say it's a childish thing a dance.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I can proper dance, man.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I feel like it's cute. What's it called twelve? Yeah?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Like I'm thinking, like, what's one of those machines that
- 32:22Speaker 1: are saying maybe maybe is around here? Speaks a little
- 32:25Speaker 1: more manly and a bit more romantic, maybe a bit sexy,
- 32:27Speaker 1: slipper ass or something.
- 32:30Speaker 2: You go so she says she's done getting ready, and
- 32:32Speaker 2: then you just go like, whoa, look at you? Give
- 32:34Speaker 2: me a toil spin. That's how you can do to
- 32:40Speaker 2: be fair like. She's like, oh, all right, I must
- 32:42Speaker 2: be looking at see they were gas?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right, Jake, let me land. Can I
- 32:46Speaker 1: please pitch you something?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:48Speaker 1: I guess. Remember in twenty twenty three when we did
- 32:51Speaker 1: six weeks in Bali together, I do, Did you have fun?
- 32:54Speaker 2: I did?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Well, that's the first tick I say. We go round too?
- 32:59Speaker 2: Why not? Look, it was fun, but going there, booking
- 33:04Speaker 2: all the places and finding the right one was hard,
- 33:07Speaker 2: you have to admit, and we are picky people.
- 33:11Speaker 1: We are very picky people. But you are about to
- 33:14Speaker 1: be sold. Airbnb has this feature called guests Favorites. It
- 33:19Speaker 1: allows you to filter for Airbnb's guests have loved the most,
- 33:23Speaker 1: so you know you will love it too. It literally
- 33:25Speaker 1: takes all the hassle you just mentioned out of the equation.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I'm listening.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I booked using guest Favorites last year when you left
- 33:31Speaker 1: me defend for myself, and I debatably had a better
- 33:34Speaker 1: time let me show you poor yes, near the beach, obviously,
- 33:38Speaker 1: two bedrooms, a big living.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Room and a room to edit. Yep.
- 33:43Speaker 1: And then you just click the guest favorites filter and
- 33:45Speaker 1: bang all the most loved airbnbs by other guests. I
- 33:48Speaker 1: told you, man, Airbnb has its covered. Can we book
- 33:50Speaker 1: right now? Please?
- 33:51Speaker 2: Ah? Fine, Let's go to Valley. Let's go this one, Jake.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Things girls want guys to know you always put too
- 34:02Speaker 1: much cologne on. I disagree. I apologies. I have a story.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Oh okay, So I've been doing cardio at the gym,
- 34:10Speaker 1: which is on steps. So I'm about how tall, maybe
- 34:14Speaker 1: like two meters in thee.
- 34:15Speaker 2: You might you're nearly two meters I think when we
- 34:18Speaker 2: did it on we did it on Patreon.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like a meet and a half two meters
- 34:21Speaker 1: in the air, and everyone has to walk past me
- 34:23Speaker 1: and go to the gym. I'm there for like forty minutes.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Quite a few people walk past me, and there's some
- 34:27Speaker 1: dudes man who wear the cheapest, most potent cologne ever,
- 34:33Speaker 1: And I walked past like wolf well because like smell.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I don't know if smell risers and maybe it's like heat.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Well, their heat probably, but I'm thinking, like, because I'm
- 34:40Speaker 1: not a very smelly man, I'm like, that is kind
- 34:42Speaker 1: of like chat and I get a whiff every single time.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Okay. I what I dislike is when I'm at the
- 34:48Speaker 2: gym and a couple like, it doesn't happen in our
- 34:50Speaker 2: gym now because no like young teen guys go there.
- 34:52Speaker 2: But at the gym we used to, it's always ten guys.
- 34:54Speaker 2: The young teen guys for some reason, they're just like
- 34:57Speaker 2: at the height of their puberty, and they smell really
- 34:59Speaker 2: bad with bo right.
- 35:00Speaker 1: And they put like half a can of Rex Owner on.
- 35:03Speaker 2: And that's what I hate, because you can smell the
- 35:06Speaker 2: bo mix with the Rex Owner and I'm like, fuck,
- 35:07Speaker 2: that's terrible. But what I want is like, I don't
- 35:11Speaker 2: think I put too much Colone on right, because I
- 35:14Speaker 2: feel like you absorb it. No one, no one has
- 35:17Speaker 2: ever said you smell really nice, all right? When we
- 35:23Speaker 2: fucking filmed with Shits and Gigs after we finished, you
- 35:25Speaker 2: and you and Maddie both said all they smelled really good,
- 35:27Speaker 2: and I was just like, colone onto thanks. Guys.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Like see, I don't like smell. I like smelling clean,
- 35:34Speaker 1: but like not having a potent smell to do. I
- 35:36Speaker 1: have a very sensitive nose, so like, I don't want
- 35:38Speaker 1: to be smelling myself flake as well.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Well I do.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I have terrible hay fever and stuff. When I wear
- 35:42Speaker 1: too much colone. I'm like, fuck fu, this is fucking
- 35:44Speaker 1: my nose up.
- 35:45Speaker 2: One time you came to my house and you asked
- 35:46Speaker 2: if you could turn the aircon off because it was
- 35:48Speaker 2: fucking your nose.
- 35:49Speaker 1: It does, random stuff fucks my nose. It's so annoying.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I feel like a big bit. I meant to be
- 35:54Speaker 1: this big guy and I'm like, oh, the aircon stuff
- 35:56Speaker 1: and my nose up. To be fair, I listened to
- 35:59Speaker 1: a podcast with Morgan Freeman. Oh yeah, same thing. Oh
- 36:02Speaker 1: if he gets it. Yeah, he said, oh can you turn.
- 36:04Speaker 2: The air coind?
- 36:04Speaker 1: How can you do his voice? Can you turn the
- 36:06Speaker 1: air cond off? Like he asked if he's on the podcast. Yeah,
- 36:08Speaker 1: He's like, I'm allergic. That's not his voice. I'm allergic
- 36:11Speaker 1: because like it, stuff's up my nose and I'm like,
- 36:12Speaker 1: relatable Morgan relatable.
- 36:14Speaker 2: No way he asked that, Yeah it did. If someone
- 36:16Speaker 2: asked us to send the airport off, he would be like, hey, fuck,
- 36:18Speaker 2: you're going to be sweating.
- 36:19Speaker 1: If Morgan Freeman came in here and see, he'd be like,
- 36:22Speaker 1: of course, my.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Lord, okay, this one, this one bloody things. Girls want
- 36:30Speaker 2: guys to know. It's not the size, it's how you
- 36:34Speaker 2: use it, is it? This was the confirmation, This was confirmation. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 2: bro facs fucking fax fax fax.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Fax small Willie club, let's go No, Yeah, to be fair,
- 36:51Speaker 1: it is we've learned about that boyfriend dick.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Boyfriend dick.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the best compliment ever.
- 36:55Speaker 2: You've got boyfriend dick. Yeah. Yeah, Yeah.
- 36:56Speaker 1: It's basically her saying nice way that it's not that big.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Would you prefer to be known as the guy that
- 37:02Speaker 2: has a massive dick but isn't that good in bed?
- 37:06Speaker 2: Or the guy that actually is known to have a
- 37:08Speaker 2: really small dick but he's got really good boyfriend dick.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I don't want people talking about my dick. I got
- 37:14Speaker 2: a girlfriend.
- 37:16Speaker 1: That's a fair answer, good answers the test. Could we
- 37:21Speaker 1: just do that guy have a really big dick not
- 37:23Speaker 1: bad in bed?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Bit doesn't matter if you have a girlfriend then though,
- 37:27Speaker 2: yeah you're terrible, terrible.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Okay, this one's good things. Girls want guys to know
- 37:34Speaker 1: how painful. Menstrual cramps are.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Yeah, actually, because here's the thing, is like I feel
- 37:39Speaker 2: super bad for Beth when she gets them, but like
- 37:43Speaker 2: all I can do is feel bad. So I feel
- 37:46Speaker 2: like it would be easier if I could just live
- 37:49Speaker 2: with the pain with you. Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 1: True, I'll tell you what I try to do. Tell
- 37:52Speaker 1: me if this is a good tip, is like I
- 37:54Speaker 1: can never understand the pain you're going through, so I
- 37:58Speaker 1: don't try and relate. Like I just listened to what
- 38:01Speaker 1: she's saying, and I'm like, anything I can do that sucks.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I know, Like that's true. Just like you stop trying
- 38:07Speaker 1: to relate and just take their words as they are. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: don't try and say like, oh, yeah, it's not as
- 38:12Speaker 1: bad as getting hitting the balls or some ship.
- 38:15Speaker 2: But I saw a couple of them on this is
- 38:16Speaker 2: it actually? Yeah, I saw a couple of people say
- 38:18Speaker 2: that getting hitting the balls is worse. You know what?
- 38:20Speaker 1: I remember seeing one time.
- 38:21Speaker 2: As someone tried to claim it was obviously a man,
- 38:24Speaker 2: that getting hitting the balls is more painful than giving labor.
- 38:27Speaker 2: No way, there is no fucking way, bullshit. Ay, oh
- 38:33Speaker 2: no way.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I don't think there's any comparison at all. Good, Like
- 38:37Speaker 1: I'm very grateful that we don't have to do. I've
- 38:40Speaker 1: never had the thought, tell you what, God gave the
- 38:42Speaker 1: biggest challenges to the strongest soldiers because men are fucking pussies. Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Probably the reason why we are pussies because they have
- 38:49Speaker 1: to go through like childbirth, like they are fair good point,
- 38:53Speaker 1: like way.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Stronger yeah, probably probably good point. Yeah, that's why I like,
- 38:58Speaker 2: it doesn't hurt when I popped its blackheads, but it
- 39:00Speaker 2: hurts when she pops bye. Yeah, they're like, oh, you're
- 39:02Speaker 2: it's not used to pain. Facts. I'm not actually, I'm
- 39:06Speaker 2: actually not all. I'm actually not Things girls want guys
- 39:12Speaker 2: to know. One gym selfie is one gym selfie. Too
- 39:17Speaker 2: much that I've been doing it, I think I might
- 39:22Speaker 2: plast some one for me and one from you on there.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I've definitely got to doing it. I've been doing it
- 39:27Speaker 1: recently to get my gym content up there. I chose
- 39:31Speaker 1: that for a reason. I knew you were going to
- 39:32Speaker 1: fuck it.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I thought I looked cute.
- 39:36Speaker 1: This is my journey, all right, this one. Not much
- 39:39Speaker 1: has to be said about it, but it is straight facts.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Things girls want guys to know. You need to ask
- 39:45Speaker 1: us out Oh yeah, facts. And I'm surprised how many
- 39:48Speaker 1: dudes don't know about that.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yeah, like surprised you and me. We were just a thing.
- 39:53Speaker 1: You'd ask her to be at your wife?
- 39:54Speaker 2: Yeah, ask her to do you reckon? Here you go? Okay,
- 40:00Speaker 2: if someone's like, I'm not going to ask her to
- 40:01Speaker 2: be my girlfriend, that's stupid.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Well are you going to ask her to be your wife?
- 40:05Speaker 1: Do you reckon? He's a dumb epiphany? Do you reckon?
- 40:10Speaker 1: Rings were introduced, so it forced men to ask women
- 40:13Speaker 1: to be their wives. So there wasn't an assumption like
- 40:16Speaker 1: imagine if it was just like already want to be
- 40:18Speaker 1: my wife now, like it was just a question about
- 40:19Speaker 1: the ring, the action, the one knee.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Ah, I don't know.
- 40:26Speaker 1: So it forced because imagine if like to ask a
- 40:28Speaker 1: girl to be your girlfriend, you had to get her
- 40:30Speaker 1: like I don't know, a bracelet and like the action
- 40:32Speaker 1: of the bracelet and you will you be my girlfriend?
- 40:35Speaker 1: We should make that a thing, yeah, because then it
- 40:37Speaker 1: would force men to ask girls to be their girlfriend
- 40:39Speaker 1: because there's no action involved with it. It's just someone
- 40:41Speaker 1: assumption that we're like we're having sex, now we're dating.
- 40:44Speaker 2: No, that's a good idea.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Actually, let's okay, let's try and start preaching to the world.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Right if some if a guy thinks he's doing more
- 40:52Speaker 2: than the bare minimum and he says, will you be
- 40:54Speaker 2: my girlfriend? All right, just like kind of wait a
- 40:57Speaker 2: second and be like, what like, no gift again, no
- 41:00Speaker 2: bracelet or nothing to secure the thing to show someone
- 41:04Speaker 2: that I have a boyfriend, Like.
- 41:05Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be monetary, it doesn't have to
- 41:07Speaker 1: be bad.
- 41:08Speaker 2: He can make it. Yeah, you can make it all right.
- 41:10Speaker 2: But next time, if anyone's out there single and they're
- 41:13Speaker 2: seeing someone, and this guy says.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Will you be my girlfriend?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Be like what, okik's get the bam minimum.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Actually, let's bump it up a bit. Yeah, it kind
- 41:21Speaker 1: of like that those loly little bracelets too.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Here, you can eat it too, okay. Things girls want
- 41:32Speaker 2: guys to know. When we stop you giving head and
- 41:36Speaker 2: insist you put it in, it means you're doing a
- 41:38Speaker 2: bad job.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Surely we can put two and two together. Yeah, I'm bad, man,
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you. If if if she says, like before
- 41:53Speaker 1: you meant you're bad to give an head, like I
- 41:55Speaker 1: think I am really.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Because she's like if she says, all right, put it in.
- 41:58Speaker 2: I'm thinking like, oh, she's enjoying this so much that
- 42:01Speaker 2: she just wants me to fuck her now, and so
- 42:05Speaker 2: in the moment, it's like genius to be like, oh,
- 42:08Speaker 2: just put it in, because all any guy wants to
- 42:09Speaker 2: hear is just put it in. I learnt that. How
- 42:13Speaker 2: do I say this?
- 42:14Speaker 1: I think what they'll say is when it's good, they'll
- 42:17Speaker 1: be like, I don't want to come yet.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Put it in. Yeah, bang yeah, that's bang on.
- 42:23Speaker 1: That means you you've cooked down there, you're cooking down there.
- 42:29Speaker 1: That's no, that's good.
- 42:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 42:33Speaker 1: This one things girls want guys to know. We do
- 42:37Speaker 1: not want to see your penis facts.
- 42:41Speaker 2: I don't want to see my own pretius because I
- 42:42Speaker 2: quite often just get sad. All right, imagine how girls
- 42:48Speaker 2: feel fuck fast unsolicited dick pics.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I wonder if, like Snapchat thought that was what was
- 42:57Speaker 1: going to be happening on there when they first came
- 42:58Speaker 1: out of the app. There's nowhere Wait, they were too naive.
- 43:02Speaker 1: They were like, this is a great idea for social media.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I hate how normal it is. Everyone knows a friend
- 43:05Speaker 1: who's sent it unsolicited. Yeah it's crazy. Yeah, it mean
- 43:08Speaker 1: some controversy in high school.
- 43:10Speaker 2: It's straight off fucking illegal. Oh yeah, I want to
- 43:12Speaker 2: I just want everyone.
- 43:13Speaker 1: To know that, right.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, if it's straight up it is illegal.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I've learned about consent. There's teething in high school. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 1: do you want tea?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Do you want tea? Do you? I don't know why
- 43:22Speaker 2: they don't just use Why don't they just use the
- 43:24Speaker 2: proper words?
- 43:24Speaker 1: I don't know, makes it confusing for us. Okay, I've
- 43:28Speaker 1: got a few more.
- 43:28Speaker 2: Should we start rattling them off or should we just
- 43:30Speaker 2: fucking yeahratle them off. Let's go things girls want guys
- 43:34Speaker 2: to know. Asking for my snap after twenty five is cringe? Oh, agreed?
- 43:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Snapchat's dying for the elderly. I kind
- 43:42Speaker 1: of want, like I don't know when I'm older, to

- 43:49Speaker 1: Well, like our parents like don't really They obviously call
- 43:52Speaker 1: their friends, but like once a month or some shit. Yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 1: maybe you want up street with friends? Yeah, like friends
- 43:55Speaker 1: like and we keep up the date with like you're
- 43:57Speaker 1: just playing. It won't be you, but like one of
- 43:58Speaker 1: our other friends will be playing golf. Is like, just
- 44:01Speaker 1: hear them fucking holding one and I'll be like, just
- 44:05Speaker 1: got my colonosopy.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Give me face down on the blanket with like the
- 44:11Speaker 2: gown on your take a phonal. This would be like,
- 44:14Speaker 2: just prep it for that.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Gay things girls want guys to know being vulnerable and
- 44:24Speaker 1: sensitive is attractive. Facts things girls want guys to know.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Your loud, obnoxious car does not make you attract one
- 44:29Speaker 1: hundred percent facts pattern that one. Things girls want guys
- 44:32Speaker 1: to know. Forehead kisses are illegal if you don't want
- 44:34Speaker 1: to date.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Us good Why Yeah? I like that. If you're not
- 44:39Speaker 2: willing to date, forehad kisses should one hundred percent league.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I only learned the place for forehead kisses once I
- 44:45Speaker 1: felt what love was.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Fah yeah, preach preacher wie very to the world. Things
- 44:53Speaker 2: girls want guys to know. Moisturize your hands. I do
- 44:56Speaker 2: that or he wanted out friends man.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I said this to him the other day because we
- 45:00Speaker 1: had an event one of our mate's birthdays and you
- 45:02Speaker 1: shake all your mate's hands, and he shook my hand
- 45:04Speaker 1: after I've shaked everyone. I was like, mate, you need
- 45:06Speaker 1: a moisturize. He's like, I'm just a man like, that's disgusting.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I'm just a man and weaponized for incompetence again, yeah,
- 45:13Speaker 2: just fucking moisturized. Though.
- 45:14Speaker 1: He's like, sorry, I'm not a podcast. I'm like, mate,
- 45:16Speaker 1: I just look after myself. I don't want to shake
- 45:17Speaker 1: hands with a fucking who was it. I'm not gonna
- 45:20Speaker 1: say his name right, No.
- 45:21Speaker 2: No, I'll call out one person that actually needs to
- 45:23Speaker 2: fix her hands. It's fucking weight and he knows that
- 45:25Speaker 2: I've set it to his face. Yeah, they do weaponize
- 45:29Speaker 2: their inconfiden It's like, I'm a man, I'm a trader.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I'm like, moisturized, bro, before you go to bed. It's
- 45:32Speaker 2: not that hard. I mean, I don't but my hands
- 45:35Speaker 2: I luckily aren't like too dry, but if they were dry, like.
- 45:38Speaker 1: It felt like I was shaking hands with sandpaper. I
- 45:40Speaker 1: like discuss. I was like, imagine what a girl feels like.
- 45:42Speaker 2: It was Jack, wasn't it?
- 45:43Speaker 1: It was Jack's got like like sausages, fat hands are
- 45:46Speaker 1: kind of nice moistury in there. He's a much blood
- 45:49Speaker 1: in his body and his hands are kind of swallen.
- 45:50Speaker 1: It's like if you had like five sausages and you
- 45:53Speaker 1: put your fingers between it that's what it feels like.
- 45:55Speaker 1: It's sort of soft. It's not not much bone on
- 45:58Speaker 1: those fingers.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Shit, al right, I got one or two more? Is
- 46:04Speaker 2: it me? You know?
- 46:05Speaker 3: You?
- 46:06Speaker 2: Okay?
- 46:06Speaker 1: Things girls want guys to know educate yourself, Try to
- 46:09Speaker 1: understand your partner emotions as well as your own. Yes,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I feel like educating your own emotions is very hard
- 46:15Speaker 1: for men to do. Yeah, Like we always think this
- 46:18Speaker 1: is did you tail what it feel it's right now?
- 46:20Speaker 2: One hundred percent idea? That's actually kind of like a Yeah,
- 46:22Speaker 2: it's like a bit of a deeper one a. It's hard.
- 46:25Speaker 2: It's really guys, you're so scared of. Like I've not afraid.
- 46:31Speaker 2: But the thing I'm most scared of is like up,
- 46:34Speaker 2: like bringing something up and spoken about it for is
- 46:36Speaker 2: bringing something up where someone made me feel like shit,
- 46:39Speaker 2: and it's gonna make them feel like shit for making
- 46:42Speaker 2: me feel like shit, even though I just want them
- 46:43Speaker 2: to know that it made me feel like shit, you
- 46:44Speaker 2: know what I mean? Like the guilt of making someone
- 46:46Speaker 2: feel bad because I know they didn't mean to make
- 46:47Speaker 2: me feel bad.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I know exactly. My biggest thing I feel like
- 46:50Speaker 1: one of the best tips I'm learning is like my
- 46:53Speaker 1: emotions and how I feel can evolve and change. Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 1: And like I should have a willingness to learn all
- 46:58Speaker 1: the time about myself.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, admit Yeah, just admitting you're wrong sometimes is
- 47:03Speaker 2: yeah superpower. Things girls want guys to know circles, back
- 47:08Speaker 2: and forth. You're not a djle emojis level like this,
- 47:14Speaker 2: so I think I think I know what it means.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I think it means when you're fingering her, just do circles.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Don't be like a DJ and go back and forth.
- 47:24Speaker 1: My last one. Things girls want guys to know if
- 47:27Speaker 1: a girl is good to you, appreciate her, don't assume
- 47:30Speaker 1: you'll find someone better.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Facts. Good one. Okay, I got two things girls want
- 47:37Speaker 2: guys to know. Noises in bed are hot?
- 47:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I try not the best.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I'm trying effort. Yeah. Last one. Things girls want guys
- 47:48Speaker 2: to know. When we say I'm close, don't change the pace. Facts.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Obviously I may be dying with all my will. I
- 48:00Speaker 1: did an ultra marathon, right, not trying to flex his
- 48:03Speaker 1: not comparing.
- 48:05Speaker 2: And but this is comparable.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Right when she says, like I'm about to come, and
- 48:11Speaker 1: you're in some position where like your forearms holding your
- 48:14Speaker 1: whole body up and you're gone to town and she's like,
- 48:16Speaker 1: hold that base. You're like, is comparable to running a
- 48:20Speaker 1: fifty clime an ultra marathon. And you've got like three
- 48:22Speaker 1: k's left.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Uphill and you're like, you're checking your watch and you're
- 48:26Speaker 2: telling yourself hold this page.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You're looking at that sweat driplet, just making sure it
- 48:30Speaker 1: doesn't go like on her face, trying to get out.
- 48:32Speaker 2: There, like I'm trying. What I want to know is
- 48:35Speaker 2: what gives you more accomplishment? Make it a girl? Finish me?
- 48:44Speaker 1: For like three or four years in my adulthood, I
- 48:47Speaker 1: didn't do it.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Oh no, neither, you know. I saw there's a quote
- 48:50Speaker 2: from Arnold, like Arnold Schwartzenegger right.
- 48:53Speaker 1: With such blow the fucking bodybuilding.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he there's a quote from him that says he
- 48:57Speaker 2: thinks getting a pump feels better than coming lies, straight
- 49:02Speaker 2: up lies.
- 49:02Speaker 1: There's no like nothing feels like that.
- 49:04Speaker 3: That's why he looks like that that he's lying.
- 49:08Speaker 1: He didn't like getting a pump more than.
- 49:10Speaker 2: You haven't got a pump on steroids? True?
- 49:13Speaker 1: Have you you said that? Like you have no no,
- 49:14Speaker 1: like you haven't got a pump on steroids? You don't
- 49:17Speaker 1: know how it feels. That's a good point. I know
- 49:18Speaker 1: how it come and feels like you don't know what
- 49:20Speaker 1: a pump on steroids feels like.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Okay, good point.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Maybe I should try it. Yeah, maybe we should test.
- 49:25Speaker 2: It because you never know. You can't judge. I want
- 49:27Speaker 2: to go on TRT when I turn like thirty five forty.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I just don't see what's what's wrong with going on
- 49:31Speaker 2: TRT now. It's like frowned upon. I don't know testosterone
- 49:36Speaker 2: replacement therapy by the way.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like there's just a stigma. But the
- 49:39Speaker 1: TRT dose is what we produce naturally. It will be
- 49:42Speaker 1: a waste of money, true, Yeah, Like the TRT dose
- 49:45Speaker 1: is only useful when testosterone level starts to decline, which
- 49:48Speaker 1: will happen stereotypically in most men around thirty depending on
- 49:51Speaker 1: lifestyle changes.
- 49:52Speaker 2: So what you're saying basically is like, okay, no, no, So
- 49:55Speaker 2: when you're thirty five or something like that or forty
- 49:56Speaker 2: or whatever, yeah, and you get TRT, it's just to
- 49:58Speaker 2: get you back to where we are now.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, because I still want to be in the gym
- 50:01Speaker 1: when I'm like thirty five forty. A lot of reason
- 50:02Speaker 1: older men drop out of the gym. It's like they
- 50:03Speaker 1: don't have any urge to literally because they have no testosterone.
- 50:07Speaker 1: They walk in and they walk out there and they're like, fuck,
- 50:08Speaker 1: I feel like I'm gonna die.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Testosterones. What's give you? It gives you, like randomly a
- 50:12Speaker 2: lot of stuff. Oh yeah, like it gives you energy,
- 50:14Speaker 2: you sleep better, just stosterone. Apparently high testosterone makes it
- 50:18Speaker 2: so training feels better. Gives you mental clarity too, mental
- 50:21Speaker 2: it's kind of weird what it gives you heaps of shit?
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I can see Why'm going to use
- 50:26Speaker 2: science to my advantage too. Your fuck it? Why not? Yeah?
- 50:28Speaker 1: I got my prescription right here. Yeah, let's go jab
- 50:31Speaker 1: each other, bodie.
- 50:40Speaker 2: I I think maybe I think I'll start this with
- 50:43Speaker 2: I have a question. So this is leading into a
- 50:45Speaker 2: confession I have Okay, I just I just need to ask,
- 50:49Speaker 2: like pause, Personally.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Your hair looks really good right now, man, I don't
- 50:52Speaker 1: normally look like think that, so like it looks good.
- 50:55Speaker 2: I'm looking up. I'm trying to look up for the monolor. Thanks.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Then I'm lightly gatting you up. Is your safe doing?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Good job?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Shit? I thanks, thank you, thank you, thank you. So
- 51:07Speaker 2: I just need to ask, now that we're in a
- 51:09Speaker 2: good mood. Ah, just like out of ten?
- 51:13Speaker 1: Maybe, well, how good of a person do you think
- 51:16Speaker 1: I am?
- 51:17Speaker 2: Oh? And could anything change it?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Could anything change it?
- 51:22Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I do a current level of
- 51:24Speaker 2: half question the current way you feel about me?
- 51:26Speaker 1: I don't know. Out of ten, how good of a
- 51:29Speaker 1: person are you? There's definitely room for improvement.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, always, I'm happy. I'm happy. I'm going to
- 51:34Speaker 2: say like.
- 51:36Speaker 1: High sevens high seven seven point nine?
- 51:38Speaker 2: Okay, cool, and we're locked in? Yeah, we're locked okay. Ah,
- 51:44Speaker 2: how do I say this?
- 51:46Speaker 1: You've done something bad?
- 51:49Speaker 2: I forgot my dad's birthday the other day?
- 51:51Speaker 1: No I did. Oh that's so on brand for you too.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Though, felled or I still feel terrible?
- 52:05Speaker 1: Okay, do you wander how I found out?
- 52:06Speaker 2: Tell me this story? What do you mean you found out? No?
- 52:10Speaker 2: I didn't even fuck.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Okay, this is fucking change. You're gonna laugh.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Okay, So you're down to a three. I told you
- 52:18Speaker 2: he locked it in. You don't change it. There's riff
- 52:21Speaker 2: for improvement.
- 52:21Speaker 1: The reason I'm not atten is for this.
- 52:23Speaker 2: So I was in Sydney and Beth and I went
- 52:28Speaker 2: to just like this place called top Ride and it's
- 52:30Speaker 2: got you know, all your classic came out random places.
- 52:33Speaker 2: And we went and came out to get some stuff
- 52:35Speaker 2: for the new place, and then we got grilled for
- 52:39Speaker 2: dinner and we were sitting down. We ordered and it
- 52:43Speaker 2: was like late in the arbor. It was like six
- 52:45Speaker 2: nearly seven, and I was my dad called me and
- 52:48Speaker 2: I was like ah, And I was standing near a speaker,
- 52:50Speaker 2: so I said to be. I was like, oh, I'll
- 52:51Speaker 2: go answer this just over here so I can hear him.
- 52:54Speaker 2: And I answered and I was like, I was like hey,
- 52:56Speaker 2: and he goes Jake.
- 52:58Speaker 1: You know, he said it. He calls me Jake.
- 53:00Speaker 2: He was like Jaki, and I was like, yeah, what's up?
- 53:02Speaker 2: And he goes, it's my first day to day, Poor Brett.
- 53:08Speaker 2: He probably bought you. And I had no like he
- 53:12Speaker 2: caught me off guard so much that I had no
- 53:15Speaker 2: like I couldn't be like, oh, yeah, I know, like
- 53:18Speaker 2: sor I hadn't called you that I was going to
- 53:19Speaker 2: call you, like as soon as I'm just at dinner,
- 53:21Speaker 2: I was going to call you one to go.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I didn't say any of that. I just straight up
- 53:24Speaker 1: was like, I'm so sorry. I forgot it.
- 53:26Speaker 2: He caught me off guard so hard that I fully
- 53:28Speaker 2: just had to say that what time was it?
- 53:30Speaker 1: It was like nearly seven pm?
- 53:33Speaker 2: He goes, He was like, yeah, I was just I'm
- 53:36Speaker 2: just sitting here. I was. He was like, going to
- 53:37Speaker 2: watch my younger cousin play footy, and he goes, yeah,
- 53:41Speaker 2: I was just randomly realized that you're the only one
- 53:44Speaker 2: that hadn't called me. You broke his heart.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I was like, did you want to say something? And
- 53:49Speaker 1: he was like yeah, And I was like, fuck, she's
- 53:50Speaker 1: in Canada too, She's a day behind. And you remember,
- 53:52Speaker 1: you know how we talk about like favorite children the
- 53:55Speaker 1: bottom eye for a while. Man, He like really reassured
- 53:59Speaker 1: me that he didn't and he doesn't, but I really
- 54:01Speaker 1: felt I feel so bad.
- 54:03Speaker 2: How do you forget? I don't know, because like you can,
- 54:06Speaker 2: like I know that his birthday is March first, right,
- 54:09Speaker 2: but literally I don't know. Just like it made me realize,
- 54:13Speaker 2: I shall say one thing before what it made me
- 54:15Speaker 2: realize earlier that day, that earlier, that exact fucking day,
- 54:20Speaker 2: I saw you at the gym. And it was when
- 54:24Speaker 2: I went and used the gym just to take a
- 54:25Speaker 2: shit because I was busting. Yeah, and so we'll save
- 54:29Speaker 2: that for another day. But I saw you at the
- 54:31Speaker 2: gym and you mentioned something to me about tax at
- 54:34Speaker 2: my new place, and because I'm going to have an
- 54:36Speaker 2: office there, I can get money off my taxbill income
- 54:39Speaker 2: because with rent. And then you said your dad probably
- 54:42Speaker 2: knows a bunch about it. You could call him, and
- 54:44Speaker 2: I was like, oh, it's got a deer. Actually, i'll
- 54:46Speaker 2: see him this month. And then you were like, you
- 54:49Speaker 2: could just call him, like he's a phone call, and
- 54:52Speaker 2: we laughed and I was like, yeah, true, true, true.
- 54:54Speaker 2: So I said that on his birthday. But if you, like,
- 55:00Speaker 2: if I had called him to ask him the tax question,
- 55:03Speaker 2: I wouldn't have said happy birthday because I forgot shit.
- 55:09Speaker 2: So yeah, like he's really reassured me that he felt
- 55:11Speaker 2: he feels he does. Sorry, he doesn't feel bad, like
- 55:13Speaker 2: he doesn't care, but I feel so fucking bad. As
- 55:16Speaker 2: you should.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah, as you should.
- 55:17Speaker 2: But what it made me realize and I actually said
- 55:20Speaker 2: this to him on the front yesterday. I spoke to
- 55:21Speaker 2: him yesterday as well, you feel bad. You caught him again?
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I actually did. You asked me about that text question?
- 55:27Speaker 1: I actually did, but I was dogging him on the
- 55:33Speaker 1: first see, well I moved to another state.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't care, And I just said it made
- 55:38Speaker 2: me realize I was really thinking about it. It was like
- 55:40Speaker 2: eating me up. And I'm like very disconnected to everyone
- 55:43Speaker 2: apart from Joanna And the only reason I'm connected with
- 55:45Speaker 2: her because I live with her, you know. Yeah, so
- 55:48Speaker 2: I was like, I like, I honestly, my mum in Canada,
- 55:50Speaker 2: don't I don't talk to barely. She messages me every
- 55:53Speaker 2: now and then and I'll react or I'll reply. My
- 55:55Speaker 2: younger brother and sister in Canada like, I barely message them.
- 55:59Speaker 2: My stepdad, I don't talk to him at all. But
- 56:01Speaker 2: then like Dad and Kate, they've moved to Queensland and
- 56:04Speaker 2: I don't like I get updates about them from Joanna. Yeah,
- 56:08Speaker 2: I don't talk to them.
- 56:09Speaker 1: You are a very I don't even know if independence
- 56:12Speaker 1: the right man. What's the type of animal that just
- 56:13Speaker 1: like lives a mole rat, like lives alone in the dark,
- 56:17Speaker 1: maybe a slot because when you used to work in
- 56:20Speaker 1: a bar, like I was lucky enough to see you
- 56:22Speaker 1: because of this podcast, But all the friends like we
- 56:24Speaker 1: didn't see j anymore, and they're like fair enough, that's
- 56:26Speaker 1: you doing what you want to do, but now it's
- 56:29Speaker 1: it's gone. The next step to your family.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not near me, so I I just need
- 56:34Speaker 2: to like just call them once a week is enough
- 56:39Speaker 2: like something? Yeah?
- 56:40Speaker 1: Yeah, even once a month, Yeah, just to be like
- 56:43Speaker 1: because you know.
- 56:43Speaker 2: And it's funny again, you said when we were at
- 56:46Speaker 2: the gym, you said you should just don't even call
- 56:48Speaker 2: him about the taxling. Just call him and just say hi. Yeah.
- 56:54Speaker 2: If you said hi, I would have been fine. I'll
- 56:57Speaker 2: tell you. Does this make you feel better?
- 57:00Speaker 1: I have had something similar, but I do.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Just tell me you forgot your girlfriend's birthday?
- 57:04Speaker 1: No no no da or sort of as bad but
- 57:07Speaker 1: actually involves my girlfriend and a birthday. So my brother's
- 57:11Speaker 1: birthday is November the fourth, and when we're in Bali,
- 57:14Speaker 1: I happened to be asking my girlfriend out on November
- 57:17Speaker 1: the fourth, and I did know it was my brother's
- 57:20Speaker 1: birthday coming up. And the story of how I asked
- 57:23Speaker 1: my girlfriend out. I booked a romantic airbnb in a
- 57:27Speaker 1: bood in Bali, which is like an hour and a
- 57:28Speaker 1: half of where we were staying near Changu, and I
- 57:31Speaker 1: went there to go sus it and I put some
- 57:33Speaker 1: flowers on the ground saying will you be my girlfriend?
- 57:35Speaker 1: And I got to the airbnb and it was shit,
- 57:38Speaker 1: like I paid good money for I think I paid
- 57:40Speaker 1: like thre hundred and fifty four and a dollar a
- 57:41Speaker 1: night for this because I was thinking, oh, that's why
- 57:43Speaker 1: I've written by I ran a really nice, romantic airbnb
- 57:46Speaker 1: and this is all happening on my brother's birthday back
- 57:48Speaker 1: in Australia. And then my girlfriend gets there, ask you
- 57:51Speaker 1: out who. Then we sussed the airbnb and it's like shit, yeah,
- 57:54Speaker 1: I remember this remember, and we're like what this is
- 57:57Speaker 1: meant to be a really good day. And we're like,
- 57:59Speaker 1: let's try and scramble find a really good place. And
- 58:01Speaker 1: it was hard because everything was booked out. We ended
- 58:03Speaker 1: up finding a really good place, but we didn't get
- 58:04Speaker 1: there till like five pm Barley time. After we sorted
- 58:08Speaker 1: everything and maybe our stuff. I had to cancel the
- 58:09Speaker 1: other airbnb. There was a lot going on, right yea,
- 58:12Speaker 1: not justifying my thing. But it got to like five
- 58:14Speaker 1: pm Barlei time, and I don't know if it clear.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I can't remember. It's a defining factor of if I'm
- 58:20Speaker 1: a good person or but I can't remember if my
- 58:22Speaker 1: mom text me or I texted out of my own accord,
- 58:25Speaker 1: but it was like seven or eight pm Australia, and
- 58:28Speaker 1: she's like, either I messaged my brother or Mum said,
- 58:30Speaker 1: you know it's Eating's birthday, right or something? And I
- 58:32Speaker 1: texted him and then facetimed him. Oh, and I can't
- 58:35Speaker 1: remember which was which, but I was like, I was like, fuck,
- 58:37Speaker 1: I knew it was his birthday there before because I
- 58:39Speaker 1: was thinking I'll text him, but then all that shit happens.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I was like, so, maybe you.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Know, the thought, the thought of my dad's birthday didn't
- 58:44Speaker 2: even cross my mind. I'm telling you I won't figure
- 58:47Speaker 2: it again obviously. Yeah, hope not. Yeah, I fucking hope not.
- 58:51Speaker 1: But you really rely on like alarms and Google calendars.
- 58:54Speaker 2: I do. Yeah, And I messaged Joanna and I sent
- 58:57Speaker 2: him a voice message and I was like, I was
- 58:59Speaker 2: like not that. I was like, not that it would
- 59:01Speaker 2: make me a better son or anything, but fuck you
- 59:02Speaker 2: for not telling me that. You know, it's fucking crazy.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Again weaponized my accompetence.
- 59:09Speaker 1: She fucking apologized to you. You should call her and
- 59:15Speaker 1: say I'm sorry.
- 59:16Speaker 2: I mean, I was joking, but we laughed about it.
- 59:18Speaker 2: She was like, shit, and so I didn't tell you.
- 59:20Speaker 2: I was like, you know, she said to me, but
- 59:21Speaker 2: I'm happy to say us on here, all right. She
- 59:23Speaker 2: was like, because we have a big massive family group
- 59:26Speaker 2: chat with like family that's like my dad's sisters and
- 59:28Speaker 2: all that. And she said that she just went on
- 59:31Speaker 2: the messenger chat and saw that everyone was saying have
- 59:32Speaker 2: your birthday to them. So that's why she said it.
- 59:34Speaker 2: She forgot too, but it doesn't look like she forgot. Hmm. Interesting,
- 59:38Speaker 2: she looks like a good thing. Okay, guys, you know
