  And Chad Wright went on the Joe Rogan podcast. I had not heard of him until I saw him on there.

  As most people that go on there, there's a lot of people I don't know until

  they go on there that Joe raises the stakes on anybody's kind of trajectory

  of their career and everything like that.

  And Chad Wright, I didn't know anything about him. Like I said,

  he is a Christian, as we found out, and I've never heard someone as boldly proclaim

  the gospel of Jesus Christ on Joe Rogan's show as this man did.

  It was crazy. It was good. It was right to the heart of it. He went right to
• 0:35
  the issue and talked about it.

  I think Joe received it well.

  He didn't argue. He didn't disagree. He pushed back on some things,

  but it was fun to watch. And Chad Wright did something a little bit different
• 0:49
  than I've seen anyone else do.

  He went to the doctrine of election. And we're going to take a look at that in this clip.

  You will never believe that. And the only way that you can believe that is if
• 0:59
  the Almighty in his grace basically makes you alive spiritually.

  Because these things are spiritually discerned.

  They're not logically discerned. They're foolishness to man.

  These things must be spiritually appraised.

  And so the Almighty by his grace makes you alive,
• 1:22
  literally spiritually alive, so that then you can discern the truth of not only
• 1:30
  the gospel, but everything, the totality of what is contained in scripture.

  It's called the doctrine of election. And so when I say, I wonder if the Almighty's
• 1:43
  calling you, what I mean is I wonder if you are one of the Almighty's elect.

  Oh boy, that's a lot. And if you are, you better hold on to your britches,
• 1:52
  son. I oftentimes wonder what's going on and why me.

  Yeah. You must. Okay, so that was, and this, most people, if you're not a Christian,

  a lot of people don't know about this.

  This is kind of like an in-house, like once you become a Christian,
• 2:06
  you kind of learn this up to the point, it doesn't really make sense.

  Why would it make sense when somebody brings it up of the doctrine election?

  Because Chad went to the heart of the issue. He said over and over,
• 2:18
  no matter how much I say this or I talk to you and I tell you about this,
• 2:22
  and he was talking to him, but he's talking to all of his listeners and anyone out there.
• 2:26
  He was just basically not being confrontational at all to Joe,
• 2:29
  but he's saying, no matter how much I talk about this, it is impossible for you to believe it.

  It is impossible. And I don't really hear people that are not Christians ever
• 2:39
  push back about that. I don't hear people ever say, well, I.
• 2:44
  What do you mean it's impossible for me to believe? I could believe if I wanted to.

  No, you don't believe because you can't believe it. And that's the thing.

  And it's not until you actually, something happens in your nature and something
• 2:57
  changes that is outside of us.
• 2:59
  Just like we could not choose to be born into this world, we can't choose to
• 3:04
  be reborn into this world.
• 3:06
  And that's what the whole doctrine of election is.

  Well, election comes before that, but God is, he is the one who awakens us to
• 3:13
  the, he basically rewires us inside that we have the capacity,
• 3:18
  the ability to even turn to Christ.
• 3:21
  And, and Chad went right to the issue. He said, said it, and even this is disagreeable
• 3:27
  with even in Christianity, but I think even Christians who don't buy into the
• 3:32
  full doctrine of election,
• 3:34
  they, they, they know something's going on because the Bible is clear about it.
• 3:39
  The Bible is up front and center about it, that God had this whole thing planned
• 3:44
  out before we stepped into this world.
• 3:47
  And it's not that randomly some people just choose to believe in Jesus.

  They're the more righteous people. They're making the right decision. They're the good ones.

  God did that 99% and we're doing that 1% of putting our faith in Jesus.

  No, rather it's like from beginning to end, God is the originator and the fulfiller
• 4:07
  of everything. And he's the one who calls us to himself and awakens us so that
• 4:11
  we have the ability to reach out and embrace Christ.
• 4:15
  And Chad, I have not heard any other person go on there and say this on the
• 4:19
  biggest platform like he did, which was, it's a breath of fresh air.

  And it's like, you don't know how a lot of people are going to receive it, you know?
• 4:28
  And even like, I want to hear from people that don't believe in this like.
• 4:33
  Saying that you can't believe this. Like, because we're like,
• 4:38
  we're like challenging your ability, you know?
• 4:42
  And it's like, why do Christians have this? Like, how are they believing this?
• 4:46
  How are they buying into this? How are they bought into Jesus Christ?
• 4:50
  And the thing that people on the outside, they just see it. They're the stupid ones.

  They're the gullible ones. They're the, they, that they're believing this fiction of that.
• 4:59
  This man came back to life. This man was resurrected 2,000 years ago.

  A guy crucified is somehow paying for the bad things I'm doing today. How is that possible?

  And that's why repeatedly Chad said over and over, it's foolishness.

  He made that, he says what the Bible says, that this whole message is stupidity. It's stupid.

  It's dumb. I get it. We all get it.
• 5:25
  But God flips everything on its head. He takes the smartest people in this world
• 5:30
  and he just turns it upside down.
• 5:32
  He saves people by a foolish, stupid message of a man being crucified.
• 5:39
  That's the crazy thing that the eternal God does this.
• 5:44
  And Chad was bold about it. And I've never seen that.

  And I was almost exhausted through the whole conversation of hearing him talk
• 5:51
  to Joe because it's tough because these are spiritual things and they're very weighty.

  You start feeling exhausted and tired, you know?

  And that's how I felt, you know, these weighty matters because it's a lot easier
• 6:04
  to just go back to Netflix and scrolling on Instagram and just checking the
• 6:09
  news and watching sports. So that's the fun stuff.

  Sometimes these things aren't as fun, but I think what it made clear to me is
• 6:16
  God is definitely doing something with Joe Rogan.
• 6:20
  And, and I think, I don't know if he's going to come out whenever something
• 6:25
  happens and just say, I am fully in or what, I don't know what's,
• 6:29
  what that's going to look like.
• 6:31
  But I just know before I became a Christian, God put all these things in front of me.
• 6:36
  I wasn't looking for him, but he just kept throwing things in front of my,
• 6:40
  in my path. And that's what brought me to him.
• 6:43
  So there are things being thrown into Joe's lap, Christians going on there and
• 6:49
  boldly just telling him the gospel and the good news, causing him to thank.

  And I hope he chooses Christ or I hope God gives him the ability to choose Christ. All right.
