- 0:00Speaker 1: Celebrity news.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Did you like that?
- 0:02Speaker 3: Karl Stefanovic has admitted that he used weight loss drugs
- 0:06Speaker 3: to shed fifteen kilos, so he's had a bit of
- 0:09Speaker 3: a body transformation recently, and basically he said he couldn't
- 0:13Speaker 3: budge the weight just wouldn't go, so he decided why
- 0:16Speaker 3: not get a little bit of help. He said this
- 0:18Speaker 3: on The Carl Stefanovic Show, his new podcast.
- 0:21Speaker 2: About two years ago. I'm fifty one now, I was
- 0:24Speaker 2: really really overweight, like you know, fifteen kilos heavier than
- 0:28Speaker 2: I am now. I went to the doctor and the
- 0:30Speaker 2: doctor said, you know, essentially you're unhealthy. I was always
- 0:33Speaker 2: physically active, but I just couldn't budge this way and
- 0:36Speaker 2: my self confidence suffered. And the doctor said, well, why
- 0:40Speaker 2: don't you go on Monjuro for a short amount of time.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So I did that and I have not looked back.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I mean, there's no shame in it, is there?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Bianca, I have to say I'm kind of chuffed by
- 0:51Speaker 4: this in that I'm not saying you do you boo,
- 0:54Speaker 4: whatever works for you. But I love that guy with
- 0:56Speaker 4: his kind of profile has just come out and said
- 1:00Speaker 4: that he takes it because there's a lot of people
- 1:02Speaker 4: that I know in the public eye, and I look
- 1:03Speaker 4: at them and I go, you've so you're so on
- 1:06Speaker 4: the jab. But they deny it. And I understand them
- 1:09Speaker 4: denying it because myself is a public figure. That sounds waky,
- 1:12Speaker 4: but you know what I mean, I don't want to
- 1:13Speaker 4: be seen as promoting something in case it's not healthy.
- 1:16Speaker 4: But you know, the people are on it, and you're like,
- 1:19Speaker 4: you've just lost twenty kilos.
- 1:20Speaker 1: And doctors, no doctors are prescribing it. I don't get
- 1:25Speaker 1: the If it's got a health risk, then leave that
- 1:27Speaker 1: to the doctors to decide, you know. I mean, I say,
- 1:30Speaker 1: let's all do it.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Let's just get fat and eat cream pies and doughnuts
- 1:33Speaker 3: and then.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Just jab up.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It is expensive, though, that's the doubt. Three hundred and
- 1:37Speaker 1: fifty bucks a month make it for. It's one of
- 1:39Speaker 1: those things.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Though. The more time passes, the less taboo it is,
- 1:42Speaker 3: and I think everyone will just be like, yeah, I'm
- 1:44Speaker 3: on
