- 0:00Speaker 1: So how are we we have Jack and John O?
- 0:04Speaker 2: Yeah, Ali nice to me likewise, So, yeah, you guys
- 0:11Speaker 2: have got your EP that's finally come out.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You must be pretty excited about that.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the album just over just under a month now
- 0:21Speaker 3: on the Yeah, this is coming out. So it's cool.
- 0:24Speaker 3: It's were we released an album last year and it
- 0:28Speaker 3: was cool to be able to follow it up with
- 0:29Speaker 3: something again sort of and keep the keep the ball
- 0:33Speaker 3: rolling for.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Sure for sure.
- 0:35Speaker 4: So so you guys been around since Johnny was it
- 0:38Speaker 4: twenty seventeen or eighteen the right event then, yeah, twenty
- 0:42Speaker 4: twenty seventeen. Yeah, and so until now you've been really sometime.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Then you've released your first full length album. Tell me
- 0:51Speaker 4: what's some What happened in between filling the gaps?
- 0:55Speaker 1: I guess.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I guess we kind of started, like straight out of
- 0:59Speaker 3: high school, so we kind of threw, you know, young
- 1:02Speaker 3: adults into our older adulthood. I suppose when we're all
- 1:06Speaker 3: twenty seven, twenty eight now, and we've been able to
- 1:12Speaker 3: do a lot of stuff with this band, especially I
- 1:14Speaker 3: guess coming out of COVID. Yeah, it would like pretty
- 1:18Speaker 3: relentlessly and we've gotten to see parts of the world
- 1:21Speaker 3: that you know, the eighteen year old, nineteen year old
- 1:24Speaker 3: versions of us when we were first starting out, you know,
- 1:26Speaker 3: first dreaming of doing so it's been cool that we've
- 1:28Speaker 3: been able to ride this wave together and write music
- 1:32Speaker 3: that we love and sort of tour it around the
- 1:35Speaker 3: world and you know, explore and experience life through the
- 1:39Speaker 3: lens of this you know, five Man project.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 5: And I think when we are sorry, when we started
- 1:46Speaker 5: like our first EP, I think we didn't like even
- 1:49Speaker 5: really expect like a large audience or anything like that.
- 1:52Speaker 5: It was just kind of like we've put it out
- 1:54Speaker 5: because we just like making music and stuff together.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 5: And then I think actually through the second because our
- 1:59Speaker 5: first came out in two thousand and eighteen eighteen, Yeah, yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 5: and then we released the single in twenty nineteen, which
- 2:07Speaker 5: kind of like took off algorithmically, like the spot like
- 2:11Speaker 5: Spotify really loved Cold. So then after that we're like, oh, well,
- 2:15Speaker 5: let's make like a like we put a lot more
- 2:17Speaker 5: concerned effort into making the next DP after that, like
- 2:20Speaker 5: we worked with the same producer as a single and
- 2:22Speaker 5: like really tried to craft it together. And then from
- 2:25Speaker 5: then it just kind of like growth.
- 2:27Speaker 4: And was that the intention when I guess, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 4: with bands these days, it's not so much about you know,
- 2:33Speaker 4: putting an album out, getting sales and you know the punters.
- 2:35Speaker 4: It's all about the algorithm and you know those online platforms.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Was it something that was I thought putting them? Was
- 2:42Speaker 4: it intentional or was it just one of those magical
- 2:45Speaker 4: moment I don't speak.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I don't think at least the at least with Cold
- 2:50Speaker 3: and twenty nineteen, I don't think we've re actation like
- 2:53Speaker 3: I think it was almost by luck. And I think
- 2:57Speaker 3: I wouldn't say that, like, you know, we don't put
- 2:59Speaker 3: any thought towards the algorithm, and we just make art
- 3:01Speaker 3: because we just want to make art. I think I
- 3:04Speaker 3: think I'd be kind of lying if I said that
- 3:05Speaker 3: was But I think for the most part, we really
- 3:09Speaker 3: put a lot of emphasis on the bigger picture and
- 3:13Speaker 3: the con story that we're trying to tell. And then
- 3:16Speaker 3: it's more so once we have the thing that we've
- 3:19Speaker 3: created together, it becomes a little bit of a game
- 3:22Speaker 3: with you know, how are we going to roll it
- 3:24Speaker 3: out and.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Into it?
- 3:26Speaker 3: But I wouldn't say that that's something that's kind of
- 3:28Speaker 3: at the heart of what we do, where by no
- 3:30Speaker 3: means sort of writing to try and you know, go viral.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I guess it was kind of like the Cross.
- 3:38Speaker 4: When it really started to become a conscious thing that
- 3:41Speaker 4: musicians and artists were mindful of, which we're prosy going
- 3:45Speaker 4: to take. So you guys, we're birth amongst the all that.
- 3:53Speaker 3: And I think from being the impact that it can
- 3:57Speaker 3: have if you release music strategically and you you know,
- 4:00Speaker 3: you play your cards right.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely, yeah, there'smula.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Yeah, we were we were blessed by the algorithm before
- 4:06Speaker 5: we even thought to play for the algorithm, you.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Guys being younger too, because I just know personally, like
- 4:14Speaker 4: I've put some posts out with pages and some that
- 4:19Speaker 4: you know, get you know, your average amount of hits,
- 4:21Speaker 4: and then I was collaborated with someone who is of
- 4:25Speaker 4: that younger age and it had like thousands of like
- 4:28Speaker 4: views and like moments, and I'm just like, that's just
- 4:31Speaker 4: nothing different, nothing spectacularly. It was just the demographic I
- 4:35Speaker 4: guess that was viewing someone else's stuff and it just
- 4:38Speaker 4: it just happens, I guess, depending on where you sit
- 4:42Speaker 4: in the on the scale of using social media and
- 4:45Speaker 4: that's stuff. Yeah, but but absolutely so, you guys were done.
- 4:50Speaker 1: A couple of you said, you've.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Been uring the world and things like that, which is
- 4:53Speaker 4: incredible experience and get to do what you love.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's not even really a job when it's like that.
- 4:59Speaker 4: And yeah, played some pretty big sold epishows and support
- 5:03Speaker 4: supporting some pretty big upside.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Clarists and name one, and yeah, so how was that
- 5:09Speaker 1: was that?
- 5:10Speaker 3: I mean, I mean last year we did sixty or
- 5:17Speaker 3: fifty five last year, and this year we're doing eighty four.
- 5:21Speaker 3: So it's getting to like, in two weeks we leave
- 5:26Speaker 3: four where where in Europe for a bit that we're
- 5:29Speaker 3: in America. We don't get home till Christmas Eve. So
- 5:31Speaker 3: it has been be able to tour and it's it's
- 5:35Speaker 3: called obviously have music to go alongside that, and it
- 5:40Speaker 3: is we are very fortunate to be in a position
- 5:43Speaker 3: when we've been doing that, and it's just been cool
- 5:44Speaker 3: to see parts of the world with you know, bands
- 5:49Speaker 3: and even at this point friends like we're on Hill
- 5:52Speaker 3: and Ocean Grove and we've toured with them at least
- 5:55Speaker 3: domestically a handful of times. So yeah, community and you know,
- 6:00Speaker 3: being able to not only do stuff internally as a band,
- 6:03Speaker 3: but with you know the friends that you made.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, and so you did good things in
- 6:09Speaker 4: twenty twenty three, was it as well? And that was
- 6:12Speaker 4: good to do on the home front. If you guys
- 6:14Speaker 4: have just come off the back I think of an
- 6:16Speaker 4: Australian pretty much sold out the Straightian tour. How was
- 6:19Speaker 4: that compared to you know, your fan base overseas is there?
- 6:23Speaker 4: They are nice to have like a loyal fan base
- 6:27Speaker 4: here in Australia, which is probably I guess growed up
- 6:31Speaker 4: with you guys essentially. It's would be pretty special. Was
- 6:35Speaker 4: that you first just full Australian tour that you guys
- 6:37Speaker 4: have done well?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Just recently.
- 6:41Speaker 5: We were on a support tour with Chelsea Grew and
- 6:43Speaker 5: Currents earlier in the year.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but I guess it's fine.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I think we did. When was our last head
- 6:49Speaker 5: when was the Heaven's Gate headline?
- 6:50Speaker 3: Was that we've done, like historically done kind of smaller
- 6:54Speaker 3: room headline shows like a lot of things. We did
- 6:58Speaker 3: one in December last year with Heaven's Gate for a
- 7:02Speaker 3: single that we'd put out at the time, but the
- 7:04Speaker 3: headline that we just wrapped up on was probably our
- 7:07Speaker 3: first first a bigger swing. I suppose historically the plays
- 7:12Speaker 3: and small little dive bars, but for us at this
- 7:16Speaker 3: time around, it and a band that you know, we
- 7:21Speaker 3: kind of announced things and then three weeks later they're there.
- 7:24Speaker 3: We haven't really full marketing campaign, but at least for
- 7:29Speaker 3: this time around, we kind of were a little bit
- 7:30Speaker 3: more proactive in planning it out, and at least for Sydney,
- 7:35Speaker 3: we did Oxford Art Factory, which is somewhere where both
- 7:39Speaker 3: Jack and myself and a bunch of others in the
- 7:41Speaker 3: band like we grew up going to that venue and
- 7:44Speaker 3: it's coming through, So that one was really cool.
- 7:47Speaker 1: That was special.
- 7:48Speaker 5: It's definitely like louder way more engaged on the headline
- 7:53Speaker 5: of last run than we've had for like maybe ever.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Like it's like the phone lines come out and like
- 7:58Speaker 5: everyone is super into like people have stayed diving and
- 8:01Speaker 5: it's like every like people at the back of the
- 8:03Speaker 5: room altho all the words and stuff, because which is
- 8:06Speaker 5: like it's different to when we're supporting like we supported
- 8:10Speaker 5: Silverstein in Europe this year and some of the venues
- 8:12Speaker 5: they were like gigantic where we're just trying to win
- 8:15Speaker 5: over a whole European crowd almost like the main action.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's super it's good.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's definitely different playing to win people over
- 8:26Speaker 5: than to like like perform what they want.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it becomes.
- 8:35Speaker 3: A bit surprising because, like like Jack was saying, like
- 8:37Speaker 3: we we've done so many support shows. We are historically
- 8:42Speaker 3: like either the opening band or we're second on the stage,
- 8:45Speaker 3: and we don't headline all that often. When you do,
- 8:49Speaker 3: when you do a headline and it's not an underplay
- 8:52Speaker 3: and it's sort of an actual full sized room with
- 8:55Speaker 3: with you know, all the bells and whistles, it is,
- 8:58Speaker 3: it's shocking sometimes because feel surreal. It's it's kind of
- 9:03Speaker 3: what we usually do.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I guess. You know, it's been the time
- 9:07Speaker 4: that you guys have when you started and where you're
- 9:09Speaker 4: at now. You certainly earned your place and you know
- 9:12Speaker 4: it got some pretty nice credits under your bell as well,
- 9:14Speaker 4: which is refreshing and very good to see.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I guess too.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Like the you know, at the moment there, since you
- 9:22Speaker 4: know it started Parkway, they really kicked things off for
- 9:25Speaker 4: you know, hardcore metalcore in Australia and you guys, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 4: massive bands like them, you have massive welling overseas and
- 9:34Speaker 4: particularly Europe and Japan, and I mean they obviously Australian
- 9:37Speaker 4: following as well, but it's massive.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Do you think what do you think it's.
- 9:41Speaker 4: So the difference is and makes it so much bigger
- 9:44Speaker 4: in countries like that, then I guess on your home soil.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I think the Europe it's it's a combination of just
- 9:50Speaker 3: how many like how many markets and areas there are,
- 9:54Speaker 3: and how the culture, especially like when you look at Germany,
- 9:58Speaker 3: it's like it's dirty is not the right word, but
- 10:03Speaker 3: it has I think they're kind of drawn to be
- 10:10Speaker 3: things in general, whether it's fashion, artier. So I think
- 10:15Speaker 3: it's for a band like Parkway to be able to
- 10:17Speaker 3: I mean, they posted a photo the other day of
- 10:19Speaker 3: that headliner there and on right now and it was
- 10:22Speaker 3: like their biggest headline show second Australia. So it does
- 10:27Speaker 3: make sense as to why heavier bands generally take off
- 10:31Speaker 3: in Europe. Japan's also a fun one. We've we've mined
- 10:35Speaker 3: in Japan, we did earlier in this year, and we
- 10:37Speaker 3: went there last year with Error as well, And I
- 10:40Speaker 3: think I don't know why Japan is as sort of
- 10:44Speaker 3: music driven as it is, but I think the people
- 10:48Speaker 3: there who are going to these shows are really like
- 10:52Speaker 3: energetic and really right, and I think so.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, everyone that goes to the Chosen Japan like
- 11:01Speaker 5: all of them feel like like diehards. Like there's no
- 11:03Speaker 5: like speculators going to true shows. I like, at least
- 11:07Speaker 5: we didn't see anyone were going that. Like everyone was
- 11:09Speaker 5: so into it. I can't get the people like standing up.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I guess, like, you know, it's it's it's a trend
- 11:18Speaker 4: as well, and something that's so quite different and probably
- 11:21Speaker 4: removed from anything that had been before and trying to
- 11:24Speaker 4: you know, that generation of people trying to grab grasp
- 11:28Speaker 4: onto something that is you know, uniquely theirs, and it's
- 11:31Speaker 4: metalcore is kind of won the way, which is you know,
- 11:33Speaker 4: great for there's a lot of the Statian groups that
- 11:35Speaker 4: are really kicking and doing great things in Japan. And
- 11:39Speaker 4: and hip hop as well, which is another really odd thing.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Like Japanese it's it's from you know, Western Western influence.
- 11:47Speaker 4: It's pretty it's pretty cool to see. Actually, it's it's
- 11:49Speaker 4: nice when it's just algamate.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Its like that underground culture that like having is celebrated
- 11:57Speaker 3: more Europe and in Japan and more so is on
- 12:01Speaker 3: an Australian scale. There seem to be more places, like
- 12:04Speaker 3: more dive bars, more of like a community in that space,
- 12:09Speaker 3: whereas in Australia, probably because our cities are so spaced
- 12:12Speaker 3: out and there's there's not much in the way of
- 12:16Speaker 3: all ages shows. People aren't getting in young these days anymore.
- 12:19Speaker 4: That's true that there are, there are a lot of
- 12:21Speaker 4: they're mostly you know, eighteen plus, which is you know,
- 12:24Speaker 4: and it's and you're getting that. I guess that fan
- 12:26Speaker 4: base following on you know, your platforms and streaming like
- 12:30Speaker 4: and I mean live music certainly is far from dead,
- 12:34Speaker 4: you know. I just come back last week the week
- 12:37Speaker 4: sorry Sunday I killed the prom Queen, which was incredible,
- 12:40Speaker 4: so I personally hadn't seen him before.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I thought it was amazing. And you know, their support
- 12:44Speaker 1: actually they had building.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Up was and it is it's I kind of get it,
- 12:49Speaker 4: even though it's not my personal you know choice, but
- 12:53Speaker 4: I certainly have an appreciation for you know, their their
- 12:56Speaker 4: fans that know all their words and just you know,
- 12:58Speaker 4: being there with them from day dot, I guess. And sure,
- 13:02Speaker 4: you guys who definitely would be experiencing the same now
- 13:04Speaker 4: as I said, being sometimes into you kicked off.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And where you're at now and yeah, just good.
- 13:11Speaker 4: So with your new track it's and then you the
- 13:14Speaker 4: new EP, which I had to listen to, and I
- 13:16Speaker 4: have to say it was nicely surprised. It's gonna you know,
- 13:19Speaker 4: you're a standard hard hardcore metal and and with a
- 13:23Speaker 4: little they change up with some more melodical stuff, which
- 13:27Speaker 4: is was nice. It was It's always good to have that,
- 13:30Speaker 4: you know, that contrast, So where the influence is, like,
- 13:34Speaker 4: for for that kind of a gi side of that,
- 13:36Speaker 4: where where do you draw your main influences from.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I guess there's there's kind of two pools that we
- 13:42Speaker 3: draw from, and I think it's kind of evident in
- 13:45Speaker 3: the album that there's there's the really heavier stuff and
- 13:48Speaker 3: then there's and then there's the occasional song that kind
- 13:51Speaker 3: of blends those two worlds. I think at this point
- 13:55Speaker 3: in time, on the heavier side, it spans like like boundaries,
- 14:00Speaker 3: like counterparts, really like intense production, really like big moments.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And grit, really huge rifts and whatnot.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and then on the softer side, it's more the
- 14:13Speaker 3: softer side is probably more akin to what we listen
- 14:16Speaker 3: to in our day to day as just music consumers.
- 14:19Speaker 3: More of like that alt rock, the Frog India rock
- 14:24Speaker 3: kind of stuff. Yeah, yeah, kind of bands like movements.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Obviously we got part to feature on one of the
- 14:30Speaker 3: songs and that was almost like we it was written
- 14:34Speaker 3: in mind to sing on. And I think that genre
- 14:38Speaker 3: of that style is probably more in line with what
- 14:41Speaker 3: our listening habits are like. And it's been cool with
- 14:43Speaker 3: you to blend those two worlds together quite nicely. And
- 14:48Speaker 3: it's an evolution of the band like we And do you.
- 14:53Speaker 1: See that's where possibly you know your direction?
- 14:56Speaker 4: Might you know in future you go down that path
- 14:58Speaker 4: where you take your your core sound and.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Where your basis and blend that.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Into something that's you know, it comes out with a
- 15:07Speaker 4: hybrid sounding, molodical, palatable, you know you I guess we're
- 15:11Speaker 4: doing those kinds of things. Do you really do widen
- 15:13Speaker 4: your own leasttership and open yourselves up to some pretty.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeahs to a specific like we want to make ten
- 15:23Speaker 3: songs that are all like breakdowns, Like it's just not
- 15:28Speaker 3: we want to write as people. And I also don't
- 15:30Speaker 3: think our fans would appreciate a ten song, a ten
- 15:35Speaker 3: inten song breakdown album. I think I think one of
- 15:38Speaker 3: the things that we do really well is is that
- 15:41Speaker 3: wider spectrum of like encapsulating parts of songs and like
- 15:46Speaker 3: that softer, more melodic emotional side as well. We kind
- 15:50Speaker 3: of crepy an end product that blends all that together.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not to feel like pigeon holed in with
- 15:59Speaker 5: like a certain action, which is why, like most of
- 16:01Speaker 5: the times on our records there's like a really more
- 16:04Speaker 5: like soft song and also like a song was like
- 16:06Speaker 5: extra heavy or whatever, like we try and expand it
- 16:10Speaker 5: as much as we can. It's also the like the
- 16:13Speaker 5: genre itself is pretty versatile to like the like Jared,
- 16:17Speaker 5: one of Jared's big inspirations is Lizzie McAlpine, So like
- 16:20Speaker 5: melodic flavors from that get trickled in and like I
- 16:23Speaker 5: really like dream pop, so like some of that like
- 16:25Speaker 5: nineties shoegazy noise thing.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Kind of bleeds into it at some points, and that
- 16:30Speaker 4: I definitely got a bit of Coins of stone Age
- 16:32Speaker 4: and you know, even food Fighters riffs. I'm just like
- 16:35Speaker 4: one of the interests your track. I'm just like, wait
- 16:37Speaker 4: a minute, I've had this before. Nice change.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 4: So yeah, and so you said there's five of you
- 16:46Speaker 4: guys in the band, So Jack you're on drums and
- 16:49Speaker 4: your vocals.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Front man, Sorry, do you ever feel like the change
- 16:56Speaker 1: sometimes and just someone else's gig? Or who mix it up?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Or you guys are pretty happy in your in your
- 17:02Speaker 1: in your lanes, where you're at works.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Well, I love to play an instrument because something to
- 17:09Speaker 3: do with my hands.
- 17:11Speaker 1: But I.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Do love the, for lack of a better term, swag that.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Being a front man.
- 17:23Speaker 3: It's funny you should ask, because we on one of
- 17:25Speaker 3: our headlines late last year, we did a full band
- 17:30Speaker 3: member swap instruments.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Oh that's cool, yeah, physical instruments, chairs.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I'll move to the west, pretty cool.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Back down the line, and we kind of we did it.
- 17:44Speaker 3: We did one of our songs, and it was fun
- 17:51Speaker 3: to be able to do something like that.
- 17:53Speaker 1: For sure. For sure.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I guess like in sport, you know, like your coach
- 17:56Speaker 4: will make you fear or four that'll be like, no,
- 17:58Speaker 4: you do you play this in the back, so you
- 17:59Speaker 4: know what, you know how to take on your opposition
- 18:01Speaker 4: almost so to speak, and it's it's always good to
- 18:04Speaker 4: put yourself outside of that.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Boundary and yeah, so on, but yeah, so what did
- 18:08Speaker 1: you end up playing? John? Did you end up on
- 18:11Speaker 1: the guitar or drums, And what about you, Jack? Did
- 18:13Speaker 1: you end up front man? Did you full?
- 18:15Speaker 5: Like I played rhythm guitar and backup vocals, played bass because.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Am the hard thing to do in the world is
- 18:27Speaker 4: play bass. And seeing I'm telling you it's like I
- 18:29Speaker 4: do both. I have sing and I play bass. But
- 18:32Speaker 4: there's about two tracks so I can do both together.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Because so I salute you guys again, do that. It's
- 18:39Speaker 4: it's definitely left brain right brain that mine just goes
- 18:42Speaker 4: up not doing it.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But it's that's good. And I have fun with yourself too.
- 18:47Speaker 4: That's that's the main thing is, you know, as long
- 18:49Speaker 4: as you're having fun and it's essentially not really a job,
- 18:52Speaker 4: is it doesn't it sound as hard work and keeping Yeah,
- 18:57Speaker 4: you guys have got pretty pretty cool job. Best job
- 18:59Speaker 4: one of the retro the world. I say, it's the
- 19:01Speaker 4: most funny. You can have a few cloys on so
- 19:02Speaker 4: long especially you've got your advanced sing you back to
- 19:05Speaker 4: your own tracks like that's you know, that's that's the top.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Shelflible for sure, for sure.
- 19:13Speaker 4: And so really our plans for the future anything or
- 19:17Speaker 4: just after you because you say you're going over to
- 19:20Speaker 4: Europe shortly and.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Then back just before Christmas. So what does twenty twenty
- 19:24Speaker 1: six look like for blowing?
- 19:26Speaker 3: Twenty twenty six will be well, we'll kind of we'll
- 19:28Speaker 3: start the year with something of our own doing.
- 19:32Speaker 5: It'll be cool to like.
- 19:33Speaker 3: The album will be out. The album comes out.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Thirty first of October. I think, isn't it that.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll be starting off the year doing something of
- 19:41Speaker 3: our own or thing. Yeah, and I think we're just
- 19:45Speaker 3: kind of setting ourselves up for another sort of busy year.
- 19:50Speaker 3: We're wrapping up this year with I think. I think
- 19:52Speaker 3: I worked out it's forty four shows over two and
- 19:55Speaker 3: a half months in Europe and then we're in the UK,
- 19:59Speaker 3: and then we're in America and then we're in Canada.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Wow, that's yeah, that's thing. Let's that must be back
- 20:05Speaker 4: to back show to be you know, that's pretty close.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Not got much left at the end of the year.
- 20:10Speaker 6: As that happens so quickly, I will probably take time
- 20:15Speaker 6: to sleep, That's what it sounds like me.
- 20:22Speaker 4: But yeah, no, because if you don't, you just burn
- 20:25Speaker 4: out and then it just becomes you know, you feel
- 20:27Speaker 4: like everyone wants a piece of you and that you
- 20:28Speaker 4: have to you know, show up and you can't you know,
- 20:32Speaker 4: set that boundary.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And I think it's quite essential for bands and especially
- 20:37Speaker 1: doing tours.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Like you know yourself, it's really critical too to get
- 20:42Speaker 4: that you know, that downtime and to really brief your
- 20:47Speaker 4: and you say it happened all the time. You know,
- 20:48Speaker 4: bands they artists, they don't and it just can't be
- 20:51Speaker 4: really their demise or you know, quite pivotal looking back
- 20:54Speaker 4: at you know, the time where shit got dark and
- 20:57Speaker 4: it started to go down, and that's generally pushed beyond
- 21:01Speaker 4: their limit.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You know, at the end of the day, everyone wants
- 21:03Speaker 1: a piece of you.
- 21:04Speaker 4: You're all human, You dislike the rest of us, you
- 21:06Speaker 4: know in that sense that you still need to beget
- 21:07Speaker 4: about yea protected in that sense.
- 21:11Speaker 1: It's yeah, all Ellie, we're just gonna have to wrap happen. Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: thank you guys for having a chat.
- 21:20Speaker 4: It's been great, absolutely last meeting, and congratulations on your
- 21:25Speaker 4: new album and good luck with your tour and much
- 21:28Speaker 4: love and big ups from us Baby teams.
- 21:32Speaker 1: We want to see more of you guys next year.
