- 0:00Speaker 1: Three days you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Would you look at that?
- 0:03Speaker 3: We've made it just after six o'clock on this Tuesday morning.
- 0:06Speaker 3: It's a little cold and rainy outside, so please be
- 0:09Speaker 3: careful going wherever you're going this morning. Netwricky Sanchez, but
- 0:13Speaker 3: Kevin Mana has three things you need to know.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Zach. Viewership was way up last
- 0:18Speaker 4: Thursday for the Macy's Thanksgiving the Parade on NBC. We're
- 0:21Speaker 4: watching in our house. It's a tradition as it is
- 0:24Speaker 4: for so many people. Thirty four point three million people
- 0:27Speaker 4: tuned in to watch it on NBC and Peacock Zach,
- 0:30Speaker 4: did you watch it?
- 0:31Speaker 2: I did? I watch it every single year.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that is an all time viewership record for them.
- 0:36Speaker 4: That's up two and a half million people from last year.
- 0:39Speaker 4: And yeah, tradition in our house as well. Another holiday
- 0:42Speaker 4: parade news, the Murphy's Borough Christmas Parade is coming up.
- 0:45Speaker 4: It's happening Sunday the fourteenth. This year's theme is a
- 0:48Speaker 4: Sweet Christmas Floats, bands, dancers, all the stuff. It's all
- 0:52Speaker 4: gonna be out there again. Not this Sunday, but the
- 0:54Speaker 4: following Sunday. The parade makes its way down East Main
- 0:57Speaker 4: Street near MTSU, continues through downtown up on Walnut. It's
- 1:01Speaker 4: always a big one every year. In registration is now
- 1:03Speaker 4: open for anyone interested in joining in on the festive fun. Lastly,
- 1:08Speaker 4: here's something for your mental health. This is kind of obvious,
- 1:10Speaker 4: but it's still important to hear. According to a new study,
- 1:13Speaker 4: a week long break from social media is going to
- 1:17Speaker 4: do wonders for your overall well being. You don't have
- 1:19Speaker 4: to ditch it completely, but participants in this study cut
- 1:21Speaker 4: their screen time down from two hours a day to
- 1:24Speaker 4: thirty minutes a day, and they saw a dramatic decrease
- 1:27Speaker 4: in anxiety and depression symptoms. That's huge. Depression symptoms drop
- 1:31Speaker 4: by twenty four point eight percent. It also helped with insomnia.
- 1:35Speaker 4: So if you prioritize your mental health, maybe consider a
- 1:38Speaker 4: social media detox at some point. But first before you do,
- 1:42Speaker 4: follow us on Instagram and TikTok at one oh seventy
- 1:44Speaker 4: five through River.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I love this story because Kevin's telling it, and this
- 1:47Speaker 3: man would crawl out of his skin if he didn't
- 1:50Speaker 3: have it, if he had only had his phone for
- 1:52Speaker 3: thirty minutes a week.
- 1:53Speaker 4: You're right, You're right, you.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Would, you would go crazy.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I don't think that I need the social media though
- 2:00Speaker 4: I like the uh. I don't know why it's a
- 2:02Speaker 4: tactile things having my phone there, but I could probably
- 2:05Speaker 4: if you if you removed Instagram and Twitter from my phone,
- 2:08Speaker 4: I think it'd be okay. Okay, filled my time with
- 2:11Speaker 4: other stuff, but I would like to try to cut
- 2:13Speaker 4: screen time down in general.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, mine's bad.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not good anyway. There you know three things
- 2:18Speaker 4: you now know. We're just getting things started on this
- 2:20Speaker 4: Tuesday morning. Thank you for joining us. We're playing Pick
- 2:22Speaker 4: your Package. In about ten minutes, we'll ask you to call.
- 2:24Speaker 4: We still got a bunch of great stuff under the tree.
- 2:26Speaker 4: We just started the game yesterday, so within ten your
- 2:29Speaker 4: chance to play.
- 2:29Speaker 5: On the river pick your Package on.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Time to play. You shouldn't be nervous, Christy, you should
- 2:39Speaker 4: be excited. It's Christy and Columbia on the line. Welcome
- 2:42Speaker 4: to the show, Christy. How are you feeling this morning?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Okay, good Christy.
- 2:45Speaker 3: We have twenty eight packages left underneath our tree for
- 2:48Speaker 3: Pick your Package. Is there anything specific that you were
- 2:51Speaker 3: looking to win?
- 2:52Speaker 6: Anything?
- 2:52Speaker 2: But line? Okay, good news that one is already taken.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we gave that away yesterday. We've still got you
- 3:00Speaker 4: know ed Shearon tickets. And here we've got an Apple Watch.
- 3:03Speaker 4: We've got Meghan train tickets, Harry Apron, Harry Belly Apron.
- 3:08Speaker 4: It's all in there. You're paying attention. Did you go
- 3:09Speaker 4: to the website? Do you know which packages are no
- 3:11Speaker 4: longer in play? Okay, she is ready, she's ready, So Christy,
- 3:16Speaker 4: whenever you're ready, pick your package.
- 3:19Speaker 6: I want twenty seven.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Twenty seven, all right, Zach's getting it. He's picking it up.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Rip it open, buddy, Christie.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I love this one.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Honestly, it's the people of Walmart Adult Coloring Book.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Well, no, thank you.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I think you've made the right choice here. So now,
- 3:39Speaker 4: people paying attention at home know that number twenty seven
- 3:41Speaker 4: has the people of Walmart Adult Coloring Book. We're putting
- 3:44Speaker 4: that back under the tree. One more number, Christy, This
- 3:46Speaker 4: is your last pick.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Oh gosh, number five.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Number five? Okay, Zach s get what's a heavy one?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Rip that open, buddy. Oh this is a big one. Oh, Christy,
- 3:57Speaker 2: this is sick. You got a record player?
- 3:59Speaker 5: Okay, that's good.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty cool. I'd be happy with the record player.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Vinyl is in these days, it's back, and congratulations, you
- 4:08Speaker 4: get yourself a nice, brand new record player. Thank you,
- 4:12Speaker 4: you got it. Hang on so we can get all
- 4:13Speaker 4: your information, okay.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Like she was disappointed in the record player a little bit.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Uh yeah, you know, it's a record player.
- 4:20Speaker 2: It's good, it's pretty cool.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And now it's no longer in play, so number five gone. Also,
- 4:27Speaker 4: we all know that number twenty seven is the people
- 4:28Speaker 4: of Walmart adult coloring book.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I love that so much.
- 4:32Speaker 4: I kind of want to get one for you for Christmas.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You love it so much.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I want one Kevin nine to twenty this morning.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Your next chance to play nine twenty, and then one
- 4:40Speaker 4: twenty and then four to twenty. Okay, so those are
- 4:42Speaker 4: the four times I mean, including right now. Yeah, you
- 4:46Speaker 4: have four chances a day. And again, make sure you're
- 4:48Speaker 4: you're looking at the website, checking the website to see
- 4:49Speaker 4: which packages are still in play. One oh seven five
- 4:52Speaker 4: the River.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Dot Com Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 4:55Speaker 4: On good morning. Today is Giving Tuesday. I said a
- 4:59Speaker 4: second ago that I want to give a shout out
- 5:01Speaker 4: to somebody in my life, a personal hero of mine.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And this makes sense when I tell you who it is.
- 5:06Speaker 4: It's gonna make sense, but I wanted to highlight the
- 5:08Speaker 4: good deeds this person does.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Okay, go ahead and tell me who this hero is.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I'm ready, I'm sitting up, I'm perked up.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Kep Zach, of course you are a personal hero of mine,
- 5:16Speaker 4: but in this instance, I am referring to Gary Manna,
- 5:19Speaker 4: my dad.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I knew you were gonna say your dad.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I just he is seventy seven years old. He turns
- 5:23Speaker 4: seventy eight in like two weeks. I talked to him
- 5:26Speaker 4: on the phone every day when I'm driving into work.
- 5:27Speaker 4: It's early. He's an early riser. But this morning. They
- 5:30Speaker 4: live up in northwest Indiana, and this morning he was
- 5:33Speaker 4: up at like three am snow blowing the entire neighborhoods,
- 5:37Speaker 4: what sidewalks and driveways. That's what he does. They got
- 5:39Speaker 4: a lot of snow last night. This is their third
- 5:41Speaker 4: big snow so far this year. They've been hit hard,
- 5:44Speaker 4: and he's out there every time it snows, snow blowing
- 5:46Speaker 4: the entire street.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I would absolutely want to live in his neighborhood because
- 5:50Speaker 3: then I don't have to do it. He's taking care
- 5:53Speaker 3: of it, and you wake up and it's like Christmas morning.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, seventy seven years old. He's out there doing I
- 5:57Speaker 4: just I thought that, you know, I wanted to tip
- 5:59Speaker 4: my cap to him pub because that is just amazing
- 6:03Speaker 4: and impressive if you ask me, and I know I'm
- 6:05Speaker 4: biased because he's my dad.
- 6:06Speaker 3: No, I think it is amazing and impressive. I won't
- 6:09Speaker 3: wouldn't even do that. At thirty three years old, he's
- 6:11Speaker 3: over twice. My agent is out there laying the game.
- 6:14Speaker 3: So good job, Gary Manner.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm very impressed.
- 6:17Speaker 4: I'm proud of him. He's a good person. He's a
- 6:19Speaker 4: great neighbor obviously. But yeah, I just thought on this
- 6:22Speaker 4: Giving Tuesday day about generosity, it'd be a good day
- 6:25Speaker 4: to acknowledge.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't have to be financial.
- 6:28Speaker 3: It can be literally anything to help someone else's life be.
- 6:30Speaker 2: A little bit easier.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Correct. Yeah, especially, I mean, I know the whole point
- 6:34Speaker 4: of giving Tuesdays coming off of the holidays, you know,
- 6:37Speaker 4: and Black Friday, Cyber Monday, all these things about consuming.
- 6:40Speaker 4: So today is a good day to give back. And
- 6:42Speaker 4: like Zach said, whatever way you can.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I could not love your father anymore.
- 6:46Speaker 3: When you said a personal hero, I knew you were
- 6:49Speaker 3: gonna say him, But I was so cautiously optimistic you
- 6:52Speaker 3: were gonna say me.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Well you did, I did say. I put an answer
- 6:55Speaker 4: that you're definitely a hero of mine.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Three days you need to know, well.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Thank you so much for starting your day with us.
- 7:02Speaker 3: We really do appreciate you. Now, Ricky Sanchez today, but
- 7:05Speaker 3: Kevin Manow has three things you need to know.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Thank you, my friend, Zach. It's election day in Tennessee.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Get out and vote if you haven't already. As President
- 7:13Speaker 4: Trump said, the whole world is watching this race. He
- 7:15Speaker 4: is not wrong. It's a big one as we gear
- 7:17Speaker 4: up for the twenty twenty six midterm elections. It's a
- 7:19Speaker 4: special election for the state seventh District, a House seat
- 7:23Speaker 4: long held by Republicans. Republican Matt Van Epps is going
- 7:26Speaker 4: up against Democrat Afton Vain. Both parties are looking for
- 7:30Speaker 4: momentum going into the midterm, so again, this is a
- 7:33Speaker 4: biggie get out there and vote. I'm not sure how
- 7:35Speaker 4: much truth there is to this, but the rumors are
- 7:37Speaker 4: swirling that Disney is looking at Taylor Swift as a
- 7:40Speaker 4: future princess. This all started with some industry insider posting quote,
- 7:45Speaker 4: Disney wants Taylor swift to play at Disney Princess. That's
- 7:48Speaker 4: all we know. There was no specific character or project mentioned,
- 7:51Speaker 4: but that's the word on the world Wide Web at
- 7:54Speaker 4: the moment. And we know she has a good relationship
- 7:55Speaker 4: with Disney because she has a new special premiering on
- 7:57Speaker 4: Disney Plus on the twelfth. The eras to the final shows,
- 8:01Speaker 4: we'll see if that relationship continues. Lastly, Oxford just announced
- 8:05Speaker 4: their word of the Year for twenty twenty five and
- 8:08Speaker 4: it's rage bait. What Over thirty thousand people voted on
- 8:12Speaker 4: this rage bait. The fact that they chose two words
- 8:14Speaker 4: as their word of the year is kind of rage
- 8:16Speaker 4: bait if you asking this, kind of infuriating. But yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 4: let me find the definition of it. Online content deliberately
- 8:24Speaker 4: designed to elicit anger or outrage by being frustrating, provocative,
- 8:28Speaker 4: or offensive, typically posted in order to increase traffic or
- 8:32Speaker 4: engagement with a particular web page or social media account.
- 8:35Speaker 4: That is a definition of rage bait. Something designed to
- 8:38Speaker 4: trigger you. Basically, and again, according to Language Data, usage
- 8:42Speaker 4: of the term rage bait has tripled in the last
- 8:44Speaker 4: twelve months, so it's getting more common. Rage bait.
- 8:47Speaker 3: If you scroll through TikTok. That's basically all that it
- 8:49Speaker 3: is is rage bait.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah, same with pretty much every social media play these days.
- 8:54Speaker 4: There you go, three things you now know. We're getting
- 8:56Speaker 4: back into the music with Miles Smith and we're all
- 8:58Speaker 4: learning together. In mere minute, it's time for Zack's Facts.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Next wake up Happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in
- 9:06Speaker 6: the morning on.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Seven five the River. Every day about this time we
- 9:11Speaker 4: learn together. Zach is the smartest person I've ever met
- 9:14Speaker 4: in my life, and every day he has a different fact.
- 9:16Speaker 4: It's Zack's Facts.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I like it when you butter up to me, Kevin,
- 9:19Speaker 3: whatever you did, keep doing it.
- 9:21Speaker 2: But this is kind of freaky.
- 9:22Speaker 3: The deepest part of the ocean is approximately thirty five thousand,
- 9:26Speaker 3: eight hundred and seventy six feet down.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Would this be the Marianna's Trench whatever that is, Okay,
- 9:32Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 9:33Speaker 3: But that's like almost six point eight miles deep, and
- 9:36Speaker 3: that is terrifying to me. And if you think about it,
- 9:38Speaker 3: like thirty five thousand feet is typically like where an
- 9:41Speaker 3: airplane is flying, like when they're just like flying.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Through the air.
- 9:45Speaker 3: That deep down into the water. That gives me goosebumps.
- 9:47Speaker 3: All the way down my spine, and there's your fact.
- 9:49Speaker 4: They say that we know more about outer space than
- 9:51Speaker 4: we do about the deepest parts of the ocean, which
- 9:53Speaker 4: is just terrifying.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't like that at all.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Okay, thanks for making us all very uncomfortable this morning, Zach.
- 10:00Speaker 2: You're so welcome. There's your fact of the day.
- 10:02Speaker 6: One oh seven five.
- 10:04Speaker 5: The River, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.
- 10:07Speaker 4: We have a question for you. We just we sort
- 10:08Speaker 4: of want to take a poll right now. Here's the question.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Is Home Alone a must watch in your house this
- 10:14Speaker 4: time of year? Whether it is or it's not, we
- 10:15Speaker 4: want to hear from you. Six one, five, seven, three
- 10:17Speaker 4: seven nine one oh seven. We were talking about Home
- 10:20Speaker 4: Alone recently. I was raving about it because it's one
- 10:23Speaker 4: of my faves, and Ricky and Zach made me feel
- 10:26Speaker 4: like I'm one hundred years old talking about some black
- 10:28Speaker 4: and white movie.
- 10:28Speaker 3: What because you said it transcends generations, and I was like, no,
- 10:31Speaker 3: one doesn't like No one cares about it as much
- 10:34Speaker 3: as you do.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Not true. I genuinely think kids are just as passionate
- 10:38Speaker 4: about Home Alone today as they were the year it
- 10:40Speaker 4: came out.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I don't believe that's be accurate.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Where do you stand on Home Alone?
- 10:46Speaker 5: Is it?
- 10:47Speaker 4: Is it old and outdated? Or is it still relevant
- 10:49Speaker 4: today in twenty twenty five?
- 10:50Speaker 6: Let us know one oh seven five.
- 10:53Speaker 5: The River, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning the.
- 10:56Speaker 4: River we're talking about Home Alone? Is Home Alone still
- 11:00Speaker 4: as relevant today as it was when it came out?
- 11:02Speaker 4: I say yes, Zach and Ricky both say no, isn't it?
- 11:05Speaker 4: How old are you?
- 11:06Speaker 7: I'm fourteen?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Fourteen? Okay, what are your your thoughts on Home Alone?
- 11:09Speaker 7: I think Home Alone is a must watch. It's probably
- 11:12Speaker 7: one of the greatest Christmas movies to ever be released,
- 11:16Speaker 7: and it's amusing. Even if you're older, then you watch
- 11:20Speaker 7: it when you're six, and then when you're fourteen, yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 7: or you an adult, you still enjoy it every single time.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Very well said, except for the fact that he just
- 11:28Speaker 3: said when you're fourteen like an adult.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That is not adult. Hey, he's he's when you're fourteen
- 11:34Speaker 2: or like an adult or an adult. Yeah. I just
- 11:37Speaker 2: don't think that that's true.
- 11:38Speaker 3: But like, I can't deny how you feel ish ne
- 11:41Speaker 3: like this is you're fourteen and you say.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, so thank you for calling. We appreciate that.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Okay, thank you, thank.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You, my friend.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Let's go to Savannah in Hendersonville, Savannah. What are your
- 11:52Speaker 4: thoughts on Home Alone?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'm watching it today actually.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Okay, your family?
- 11:57Speaker 2: I watch you every year, Savan. Are you watching it
- 12:00Speaker 2: with a family or is it something you do on
- 12:02Speaker 2: your own?
- 12:02Speaker 5: Like?
- 12:03Speaker 2: Is it your tradition? So kind of both.
- 12:06Speaker 7: I'll watch it with my kids, but I'm putting my
- 12:08Speaker 7: tree up today and I'm gonna watch it.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Okay. I love it. And do your kids like it? Yes?
- 12:14Speaker 1: I have an eighteen year old and a five year
- 12:16Speaker 1: old and I like them both watch it.
- 12:18Speaker 4: So in other words, it transcends generations.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yes, whatever. I just don't think it's accurate like it.
- 12:26Speaker 4: I think that's true. I think that. Yeah. Ricky and
- 12:28Speaker 4: Zach for whatever reason, just don't like Home Alone.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I liked Home Alone when I was younger.
- 12:34Speaker 4: It's still great. Still holds up.
- 12:35Speaker 2: It was came out before I was born.
- 12:38Speaker 4: I know, but that doesn't matter. It's still it holds
- 12:40Speaker 4: up perfectly. Thank you for calling, uh and best of luck.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Set up for tree today, Marry christ I we'll talk
- 12:48Speaker 4: to one more Zach. Maybe Easton will agree with you
- 12:50Speaker 4: Easton your thoughts on Home Alone.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Must have, must watch it.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but my my go to.
- 12:59Speaker 2: For Christmas news is Rudolph L. Christmas Chronicles. Oh you
- 13:07Speaker 2: got a hole, dude, then you're ready for Christmas?
- 13:10Speaker 7: And in uh Frosty and then.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I think we're good. We got the point here. I mean,
- 13:16Speaker 4: Home Alone is somewhere low on the list.
- 13:18Speaker 7: No, we watched. That was probably the first movie that
- 13:21Speaker 7: we watched a Christmas.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Okay, here's my I have come to a consensus now,
- 13:25Speaker 3: since we've had two children and one adult. My consensus
- 13:28Speaker 3: is that the adults are forcing their children to watch this.
- 13:31Speaker 3: They get they're will they're tying them down, and they're
- 13:34Speaker 3: making them watch Home Alone.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I think probably older parents are used to watching it.
- 13:40Speaker 2: That's why the younger kids are still watching it.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Yeah, because they make them. But it still holds up.
- 13:44Speaker 4: It's like if you watch it, you don't think, oh,
- 13:46Speaker 4: this is an old movie. It's like it's very much.
- 13:49Speaker 5: It's a great one, just like uh Sandlot, Yes.
- 13:52Speaker 4: The sande Okay, now we're not talking about Christmas now,
- 13:54Speaker 4: we're just talking about movies in general. But I agree
- 13:56Speaker 4: with you all right, well, thank you for calling. We
- 13:58Speaker 4: appreciate you in put you guys have a great holiday season.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Mary Chris, Mary Chris, Christmas.
- 14:03Speaker 4: If you want to join the conversation at six one five, seven, three,
- 14:05Speaker 4: seven nine, one oh seven. But Zach, that feels pretty
- 14:07Speaker 4: unanimous to me.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I mean, you can feel however you want.
- 14:10Speaker 3: It's not my fault that they have a lack of
- 14:12Speaker 3: modern technology in this movie.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It just feels so out of dat and old to me.
- 14:15Speaker 6: Okay, god O.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Seven the River, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 14:20Speaker 4: One oh seven, five the River. Cindy is on the
- 14:23Speaker 4: line right now. She wants to Yella Zach about his
- 14:25Speaker 4: opinions on Home Alone. Cindy, the floor is yours.
- 14:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 5: So, I'm have an eight year old daughter and she
- 14:30Speaker 5: watches that movie more than she watched k Pak Samen Honor.
- 14:33Speaker 2: She loves it. I will say that was saying a lot.
- 14:36Speaker 4: That is saying a lot. And Zach, the just the uh,
- 14:38Speaker 4: the conceit the premise of a child outsmarting these two
- 14:41Speaker 4: bumbling idiots and and them getting hit in the face
- 14:44Speaker 4: and their head's getting like kids are always gonna love that.
- 14:47Speaker 4: That's all.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Now you're promoting danger.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Absolutely light year old.
- 14:51Speaker 4: She's a little rough girl, so yeah, she's all for it.
- 14:53Speaker 2: So I like Home Alone, Like I like it as
- 14:55Speaker 2: a movie.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Here's my problem with it is that it's so old
- 14:58Speaker 3: fashioned and outdated. The implausibility of its entire premise in
- 15:02Speaker 3: today's world is just not real.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Like I feel like maybe people love Yeah we're in Portland.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I feel like the only reason that people like really
- 15:13Speaker 3: love it is because of the nostalgia of the movie.
- 15:16Speaker 1: No, everything about it's to go to Christmas.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Movie for I cannot believe you guys are promoting such
- 15:22Speaker 3: dangerous things for your children.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Okay, all right, It's impossible to win an argument against Zach,
- 15:28Speaker 4: but thank you for trying, Cindy. I appreciate it.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Have a good morning, Merry Christmas.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Sorry Christmas. We've got more MGK tickets. We've We've got
- 15:37Speaker 4: these all week with the Game of the Day. You
- 15:38Speaker 4: can win them. Next down the River for.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Seven five the River, it's Kevin Man Who's Game of
- 15:47Speaker 4: the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. We were playing a
- 15:49Speaker 4: new one called Zachronyms this week for MGK tickets because
- 15:53Speaker 4: MGK is you know, three letters stands for machine gun Kelly,
- 15:56Speaker 4: So that's kind of the idea behind the game. Let's
- 15:58Speaker 4: say good morning to Kayla and Hermitage. How you doing.
- 16:00Speaker 6: I'm great?
- 16:01Speaker 7: How are you guys?
- 16:03Speaker 4: No complaints at all? How you feeling this holiday season?
- 16:06Speaker 4: You're getting everything ready?
- 16:07Speaker 7: Oh, getting everything ready, spending all the money, doing.
- 16:09Speaker 2: All the things. Oh that's what I like to hear.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Spend that money. Honey.
- 16:13Speaker 4: We are going to get into the on the second here.
- 16:15Speaker 4: But did you get any good deals for either Black
- 16:16Speaker 4: Friday or Cyber Monday? I did my son.
- 16:20Speaker 7: He's already in class, so I got him a switch
- 16:23Speaker 7: that was on a pretty good sale, and the games
- 16:24Speaker 7: and all that I ordered last night for Cyber Monday.
- 16:27Speaker 6: So that's a pretty good deal.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Good job, well done. Hopefully you can walk away with
- 16:31Speaker 4: some tickets to see MGK. He's playing Bridgestone two weeks
- 16:34Speaker 4: from tonight. Okay, all right, Zach is standing by. He
- 16:37Speaker 4: will recite a sentence. It has three acronyms in it.
- 16:40Speaker 4: If you can identify two of them, the tickets are your, Zach,
- 16:42Speaker 4: take it away.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Okay, Kayla.
- 16:45Speaker 3: The CEO asked the it department to fix it by EOD.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Okay this chief executive officer.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Okay, we got one.
- 16:56Speaker 2: We got one, okay, EO the end of day.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Three.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Do you happen to know what it stands for?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Something to do with computers?
- 17:10Speaker 6: I don't.
- 17:13Speaker 3: If it makes you feel better. You and I were
- 17:14Speaker 3: on the same page when Kevin sent me this. I
- 17:16Speaker 3: had no idea that it stood for information technology.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I didn't really know that either.
- 17:20Speaker 7: I was gonna say that.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I just didn't want to.
- 17:26Speaker 4: It's a great answer. Congratulations and new enough to get
- 17:29Speaker 4: these tickets. You're gonna go see MGK.
- 17:30Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I love you guys.
- 17:33Speaker 7: I listen every morning, so thank you so much.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Tayla, we love you more. That's gonna just make me cry.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Yeah, you're the best. Thank you for Thank you for
- 17:41Speaker 4: being here for listening. Have a great holiday season, and
- 17:44Speaker 4: have fun at the show.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Three things you need to know?
- 17:49Speaker 3: Well, good morning and happy Tuesday. A little bit past
- 17:52Speaker 3: eight o'clock. No Ricky Sanchez today, but Kevin Mano has
- 17:55Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Yes, I do, Thank you. Zach Is Miley Cyrus engaged.
- 18:00Speaker 4: She's got everyone talking this morning after walking a red
- 18:02Speaker 4: carpet with a big old ring on that finger. She
- 18:05Speaker 4: was out last night at the world premiere of the
- 18:06Speaker 4: New Avatar movie in La She was with her boyfriend
- 18:10Speaker 4: or possibly fiance, Max Morando, and yeah, she had the ring.
- 18:13Speaker 4: The two of them were first linked four years ago
- 18:15Speaker 4: December of twenty twenty one, and they went public with
- 18:17Speaker 4: their relationship a few months later. And now they may
- 18:20Speaker 4: be one step closer to matrimony. By the way, Miley
- 18:24Speaker 4: has a new song on that movie soundtrack, the New
- 18:26Speaker 4: Avatar movie. That's why she was out there last night.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I've got good news for her friends in Nolansville. You're
- 18:31Speaker 4: getting at Chipotle. Yes, Chipotle's first ever Nolansville location opens
- 18:36Speaker 4: this week Thursday, to be exact, It's at the Village
- 18:39Speaker 4: Green shopping center there on Nolansville Road. We love us
- 18:42Speaker 4: and Chipotle over here also a bonus and new Chipotle
- 18:46Speaker 4: not only means great food, but new jobs. If you're
- 18:48Speaker 4: in the area and you're looking for work, you can
- 18:50Speaker 4: apply at jobs dot Chipotle dot com. And again, it
- 18:53Speaker 4: opens this Thursday morning at ten forty five.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Oh.
- 18:56Speaker 4: And by the way, just real quick, my Chipotle hack
- 18:59Speaker 4: that I feel like none ever, her he knows about
- 19:00Speaker 4: if you get a veggie bowl, you know, no meat. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 4: guac is free. You know everybody knows guac is extra.
- 19:06Speaker 4: It's not if you go save those two bucks, if
- 19:08Speaker 4: you go veggie mode. Lastly, today is Giving Tuesday. I
- 19:12Speaker 4: just gave you that helpful tip about getting free guak.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It's a global movement celebrating generosity, whatever that looks like
- 19:18Speaker 4: for you. Generosity in any way. I know money is
- 19:21Speaker 4: tight for a lot of people, but generosity in any
- 19:23Speaker 4: form is what today is all about. Last year, Americans
- 19:25Speaker 4: donated a record breaking three point six billion dollars on
- 19:29Speaker 4: Giving Tuesday. That is a huge number. Giving Tuesday was
- 19:32Speaker 4: created in twenty twelve. It's always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
- 19:36Speaker 4: You know, you got Black Friday and Cyber Monday days
- 19:38Speaker 4: designed around consumerism. So it's nice to follow us up
- 19:42Speaker 4: at the day about giving back, the most generous day
- 19:44Speaker 4: of the year, as they call it. If you can
- 19:46Speaker 4: give anything at all today, please do join the movement.
- 19:49Speaker 4: And hey, coming up a little later this hour, we
- 19:51Speaker 4: want to hear about like creative ways to express generosity
- 19:54Speaker 4: and give back whatever it might be. Maybe you can
- 19:58Speaker 4: inspire others to do the same. There you go. Three
- 20:00Speaker 4: things you now.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Know Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 20:06Speaker 4: The river talking about creative ways to give back to
- 20:09Speaker 4: spread generosity. Doesn't always have to involve money, No, not
- 20:13Speaker 4: at all. Lots of things we can do. I mentioned
- 20:15Speaker 4: giving blood a minute ago, Zach, what would what would
- 20:17Speaker 4: you suggest?
- 20:18Speaker 3: I say, it doesn't cost anything and it doesn't take
- 20:20Speaker 3: very much time. But send a text to somebody you
- 20:23Speaker 3: haven't talked to it in a long time, just like, hey,
- 20:25Speaker 3: thinking about you, because that's just sharing generosity and love,
- 20:28Speaker 3: and sometimes, especially with the weather outside that we have today, people.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Need to know that they're being thought about.
- 20:33Speaker 4: On people care, this is a sad time of year. Yea, yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 4: I agree for a lot of people it is. That's
- 20:38Speaker 4: a good one, Zach. I do have a list here.
- 20:40Speaker 4: We've been getting some calls as well. You can volunteer
- 20:43Speaker 4: at a food bank. I know Ricky just did at
- 20:45Speaker 4: the Second Harvest food bank. Yeah, it's not gonna cost
- 20:47Speaker 4: you anything. You can leave water or snacks or whatever
- 20:50Speaker 4: out for delivery drivers. They're out there making the rounds.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yo.
- 20:53Speaker 3: They are working their butts off right now. Like a
- 20:56Speaker 3: little snack does a long way.
- 20:57Speaker 4: We got a call from Janine during that song. She
- 20:59Speaker 4: said that she teaches her kids to pick up litter
- 21:02Speaker 4: and trash whenever they see it out there. These little things.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I love it.
- 21:06Speaker 4: If you're out doing holiday shopping, maybe just buy one
- 21:09Speaker 4: extra toy or one extra jacket or whatever and donate
- 21:12Speaker 4: it to a children's hospital or a shelter, just one
- 21:14Speaker 4: extra thing. You can keep food in the car and
- 21:17Speaker 4: hand it out to people that might need it when
- 21:19Speaker 4: you see them, and then you stop at a stoplight
- 21:20Speaker 4: or something.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you can like buy.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Those packs that crackers, and the crackers last for ever.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Hear they're extremely inexpensive, and like every time I've given
- 21:28Speaker 3: it to an unhoused or houseless person, they're so grateful
- 21:31Speaker 3: and excited for just a cracker.
- 21:32Speaker 4: You leave a big tip when you're out dining. I
- 21:35Speaker 4: know a few of these do have to do with money,
- 21:37Speaker 4: but you know, a generous tip goes a long way.
- 21:39Speaker 4: You can call a school and pay off a kid's
- 21:41Speaker 4: lunch debt. That's another creative one.
- 21:43Speaker 5: I like this.
- 21:43Speaker 4: I've heard of people doing this. I think it's a
- 21:45Speaker 4: trend for a while. But leaving like a gift card
- 21:48Speaker 4: or cash in the diaper aisle somewhere like at Target
- 21:51Speaker 4: or something that is brilliant because diapers are expense, they
- 21:55Speaker 4: are new parents are off and struggling.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Wait, I actually saw this trend on TikTok that I
- 22:00Speaker 3: thought was really cool. So a bunch of like people
- 22:02Speaker 3: are getting together. So friends are going out to dinner
- 22:04Speaker 3: and instead of buying each other like Christmas presents, they're
- 22:07Speaker 3: bringing an extra twenty dollar bill to give to the server.
- 22:09Speaker 4: So that's awesome.
- 22:10Speaker 3: There's ten people there, they get twenty dollar bills. From
- 22:12Speaker 3: each person, they're getting two hundred bucks.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I love that.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning time for the daily.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Double tap, it's one oh seven five the River. I
- 22:23Speaker 4: found this one, Zach. It is a local band, and
- 22:25Speaker 4: I know that I've I've brought similar daily double taps
- 22:29Speaker 4: to the table before, but.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I'm very excited about this one. I can't wait to
- 22:32Speaker 3: hear it. I don't know anything about this, So this
- 22:34Speaker 3: was all Kevin's fault. If you don't like it, come
- 22:36Speaker 3: at him.
- 22:37Speaker 4: It's a cover. The band is called Our Last Night.
- 22:39Speaker 4: They're a Nashville band and uh I follow them on
- 22:42Speaker 4: Instagram and I saw that you know they'd done this cover,
- 22:44Speaker 4: and then today I read that they're like actually having
- 22:47Speaker 4: Billboard success, Like they're charting with this song.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Cool.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a cover of Taylor Swift's Fate of Ophelia
- 22:54Speaker 4: and it's Today's Daily Double Tap.
- 22:56Speaker 8: Here we go, Zacha. You get the gist here. It
- 23:16Speaker 8: works as a rock song man.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not like really into that type of music,
- 23:20Speaker 3: but it sounds cool.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Well it's a great song, and it just speaks to
- 23:23Speaker 4: how good the song is. But yeah, they're like actually
- 23:26Speaker 4: achieving Billboard success with this cover.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I love it.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Here comes the best part. Hold on, here we go
- 23:30Speaker 4: to the best part.
- 23:36Speaker 5: All right.
- 23:37Speaker 4: I could just listen to it all day. I love
- 23:38Speaker 4: that song.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I like that band.
- 23:40Speaker 4: We'll post it. We'll post that video up on our
- 23:42Speaker 4: Instagram stories Today's Daily Double Tap. Super happy for them
- 23:44Speaker 4: that they're, you know, doing well with the.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yeah pop off sis again.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Then the band is called our last Night and we'll
