  Speaker 1: your day right. And you know, God has a purpose

  Speaker 1: for your life today, a special, unique purpose for you.

  Speaker 1: God wants to lead your life. He wants to be
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: involved in your life, and it's so important for you
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: to be in tune with Him. You don't know what
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: His purpose might be. It may be some big thing
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: going on in your life right now, or God's purpose
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: for this day in your life may be just a
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: part of some chance encounter you have with someone today.

  Speaker 1: But in that chance encounter God wants to use you
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: in that person's life and so you need to be
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: walking with the Lord, aware of what He wants to
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: do with you and through you, and you need to
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: learn to constantly take time with God.

  Speaker 1: Learn to recognize his voice when he's speaking to you.

  Speaker 1: Learn to be sensitive to his leading about your involvement
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: with other people. Take time in his word.
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: Recognize how God works. Well, we're talking about God's voice
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: in our lives this week, and today we come to
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: a passage in Job chapter 33.
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: Where one of Job's friends is actually speaking to him
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: and challenging him, and sometimes what Job's friends said had
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: a lot of truth, but they were misdirected in their
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: judgment of Job. But what Job's friend says in this passage,
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: I think, is right on in the verses that we're reading,
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: verses 14 to 18. Indeed, God speaks once or twice,
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: yet no one notices it in a dream.

  Speaker 1: A vision of the night when sound sleep falls on
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: men while they slumber in their beds.

  Speaker 1: Then God opens the ears of men and seals their

  Speaker 1: instruction so that He may turn man aside from his
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: conduct and keep man from pride.

  Speaker 1: He keeps back his soul from the pit and his

  Speaker 1: life from passing over into death.

  Speaker 1: You know, when God speaks, we should always look for
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: His good purpose in his communication with us.

  Speaker 1: As Job's friend speaks to him, I think God is
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: reminding us today.

  Speaker 1: That he comes to us in many different ways, as
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: the passage says in a dream, a vision of the
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: night when sound sleep falls on men while they slumber
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: in their beds. You may wake up with a sense
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: in your heart that God is wanting you to do
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: something or that God is speaking to you about something,
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: or you may be reading your Bible and God may
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: speak to you or challenge you through the Bible. It
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: doesn't matter how God comes to you.

  Speaker 1: When you are certain that God is speaking to you
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: and that it is in line with His word.

  Speaker 1: Then you need to always approach that with the assurance
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: that God has a good purpose for you in what
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: He's saying in this passage to turn man from his deed,
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: to conceal pride from man, no matter what God is saying,
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: you can rest assured that God does have your best
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: interest at heart.
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: Well, what has God been trying to say to you?

  Speaker 1: What is there that is stopping you from committing yourself
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: completely to God?
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: Why don't you do that today? How about taking a
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: bit of time right now?
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: And talk to God about anything that is stopping you
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: from following His plan for your life and allow God
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: to interact with you about that.
