- 0:00That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:03I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and
- 0:07virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:10corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:14We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:17existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:22we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:25spirit realm, even though His word tells us that they do.
- 0:29Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:33and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:37earth. You know, I've seen the.
- 0:39Eyes turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:44These giants would live way up in the highland.
- 0:47The young Braves, the young men would hide up in the trees and
- 0:50wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the bath
- 0:52and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the
- 0:56village, and the village would feast on the body Marina.
- 1:04Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
- 1:06armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify
- 1:08their cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:11violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:15at, is not against each other, it's against these
- 1:18principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:20places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:23the Bible. Yourself.
- 1:25Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because
- 1:29we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
- 1:36You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against
- 1:41the Kingdom of darkness. Anybody in the church that
- 2:06doesn't take a position on Genesis 6, they're missing.
- 2:10That's, I mean, we, that's why we do this podcast, right?
- 2:14You know, it's, it's a foundational thing that opens
- 2:17your eyes to the Bible. The reality of what took place
- 2:22in Noah's time and what's taking place now, It has been hidden to
- 2:28a lot of people, many generations and even even
- 2:31present day. Satanic information technology.
- 2:35So that's the software for the the nano stuff, right.
- 2:39So when people are having these issues, when we look at patents
- 2:41right now, Yep, we can read patents right now and that
- 2:45material that they put in people, the software program can
- 2:49be targeted completely different for me or you than 100 other
- 2:52people in the room that aren't a threat.
- 2:54So like the world's not up to par with looking at things that
- 2:58multi layered and that much of an attack against the flock,
- 3:00especially those people who are Ephesian style exposing the
- 3:04enemy. So people think you're crazy
- 3:06sometimes and it's singled out. But my thing is, if you're
- 3:10leaving out other believers, like if, if we don't have a wide
- 3:14enough scope that it fits in everybody, like LA says, if one
- 3:17person's right, it busts the paradigm.
- 3:20So we have to actually have a Berean mentality to study in the
- 3:25Word of God with a readiness of mind that if we can find in the
- 3:29Word, not just answers in Genesis, but anywhere in the
- 3:32Word, that would compartmentalize and justify in
- 3:37the truth to an experience or something that's happening.
- 3:41Modern daytime Bereans would accept it with a readiness of
- 3:44mind because it could be found in the Word.
- 3:47So that's just a Berean that has no religious affiliation.
- 3:50No, it's just this is the Word of God.
- 3:52I can find it. I can see it here.
- 3:54I trust the Word of God now. We agree with these quotes,
- 3:58therefore we need to understand Genesis 6 one through 4.
- 4:02For example, he says we can't give up on the foundation of the
- 4:05Bible as truth when we try to argue apologetics.
- 4:09People don't understand these topics because pastors are not
- 4:12teaching it. The attack is on the Word of God
- 4:15right from the serpent in the garden.
- 4:17Did God really say He says there's no neutral position.
- 4:21If you're not gathering, you're scattering.
- 4:24Churches are teaching all kinds of you on Genesis One through
- 4:2711, and that's not good. I'm agreeing and saying take it.
- 4:31Take what you were saying and apply it to Genesis 6 to
- 4:36understand how important it is to fight for every word of God.
- 4:40Every single jot and title that is recorded is important.
- 4:45It's there for a purpose and it has meaning.
- 4:49And we don't get to be neutral that we have to take a position
- 4:54on it because anything that we're neutral on or anything
- 4:59that is an error, the enemy can exploit down the road.
- 5:09Hey, Rod, what's up, man? What's going on, Pete, Luke.
- 5:13Luke can see you guys. Hey, guys.
- 5:15I gathered you all here today. So listen, I brought a rod in
- 5:22with Luke and I today because we had a fantastic interview with
- 5:27Brian Osborne from Answers and Genesis, and it was a lot of
- 5:31fun. It we talked about some really
- 5:33important topics and Brian's a great guy.
- 5:36And we we talked about the importance of the Bible of
- 5:40Genesis, of apologetics, about understanding that there are
- 5:44reasons for our faith that it's not just a blind faith, but we
- 5:48have good answers for things that the world has questions
- 5:53about. And one of the things I'll
- 5:57mention this to one of the things that while the main thing
- 6:00really that compelled me to reach out to them and try to get
- 6:03Ken Ham the the the president or CEO, if you will, of answers in
- 6:08Genesis on our show. And we ended up getting Brian
- 6:12was a talk that Ken did that I saw I thought was so important.
- 6:18And it was talking about how our young people are leaving the
- 6:21church in droves. And it has a lot to do with us
- 6:25being kind of in a post Christian, post biblical culture
- 6:30where it's almost like Acts 2 versus Acts 17 and Acts 2, it
- 6:37was Peter speaking to the Jewish people and they really just
- 6:41needed to accept the Messiah. But they basically had an
- 6:43understanding of, of God and their history, right?
- 6:48Their Old Testament history. And so it wasn't a big jump to
- 6:53get them to the Messiah. So they already had that, that
- 6:56culture of understanding. And in Acts 17, it was more the
- 7:00Greek culture of God, which God, you know, or like Pilate said,
- 7:07right, truth, What is truth? And so we've said this, Luke and
- 7:12I on our show often that we need to have better answers for these
- 7:17things in the Bible that people love to throw at us and say,
- 7:21what an awful God to send the flood to command the killing of
- 7:26all these people in the Old Testament.
- 7:29And they see the Old Testament God as a very different God than
- 7:35the God of the New Testament. And I submit we are not
- 7:40understanding the depth of the perversion and corruptness and
- 7:45violence of the Old Testament, why these drastic measures were
- 7:49necessary. So that's kind of a long winded
- 7:53intro to say understanding the Bible properly is important.
- 7:58And a lot of the notes that I'm going to go off of today with
- 8:01Rod and Luke came from preparing to talk to Brian, Brian Osborne
- 8:07from Answers in Genesis. So this is not a beat up on, on
- 8:11Brian or Ken or any of that, but it kind of spurred something in
- 8:17us as Luke and I kind of set out to do this podcast journey with
- 8:23a, I'll call it a Genesis 6 worldview.
- 8:27To borrow Mike Kyser's The Deuteronomy 32 worldview phrase
- 8:32that if we understand who the sons of God are in Genesis 6, as
- 8:37Steve Quayle has said, it is a Rosetta Stone for understanding
- 8:42the biblical narrative as a whole.
- 8:47Well, just a comment. I mean, you know, honor and love
- 8:50is obviously the goal with the body and these pockets that need
- 8:55that that have a need to be met, right?
- 8:57Where we have Berean mentalities, we're finding stuff
- 9:02in the word and and as time goes on, you know, studying the Bible
- 9:06in its ancient cultural context is actually so important that it
- 9:11lines these things up and makes it undisputable, right?
- 9:14So there's like the the Greek mind mindset, right?
- 9:18And then there's this ancient mindset.
- 9:20So I think just as a believer, somebody who doesn't like
- 9:24beating up on bad opinions, let's say a Sethite view, I
- 9:28still work with people who have a Sethite view because my main
- 9:31goal is salvation and having better answers and serving the
- 9:35King of Kings, right? Like literally taking a position
- 9:37where it's like, if it's non salvational, it's still
- 9:40important because the ripple effect has been demonstrated
- 9:44from people all around the world on this little mustard seed show
- 9:47over here, right? We got people that are coming
- 9:48out and saying this was helpful. Why have I been alone on this
- 9:52information? So we know God is working in a
- 9:54mysterious way where he's bringing stuff together.
- 9:57And just a comment real quick on the fact that we have a whole
- 10:00can of worms in the reality check and humility of God saying
- 10:05things like seal up these words to Daniel, you know, and then
- 10:08all of these things happening at the end of the age.
- 10:14So it would be really, in my opinion, disingenuous for me not
- 10:18to have an open mind and to listen to anecdotal evidence and
- 10:21also be honest with my own experience that I believe
- 10:25there's so much more going on in the word of God than what the
- 10:30church that that I had visited recently would like, like to
- 10:33believe. And I think we're really
- 10:34forefront runners in that way. And it's not easy being a
- 10:38pioneer. So balancing it with like the
- 10:41Berean mentality, personal experience, respecting and
- 10:45honoring the Word of God, and then realizing you're pioneering
- 10:49somewhere where many people are not ready to go.
- 10:54And we mix all that together. And here we are with smiles and
- 10:58with prayer and with the right posturing heart, in my opinion.
- 11:03So thank you for inviting me, Pete, and it's always good to be
- 11:05with you and your brother Luke. Yeah, good to have you.
- 11:10Yeah. So you know, any of our
- 11:13listeners who have been with us from the beginning or have gone
- 11:17back to the old episodes, you know, this is where we we
- 11:20started who are the sons of God in in Genesis chapter 6.
- 11:25And it's very hotly debated the the commonly held view and the
- 11:29most taught view in seminaries and then by extension most
- 11:34churches is, as Rods mentioned, the Sethite view that these sons
- 11:40of God were not angelic, heavenly divine beings, but just
- 11:44humans. Now, we're not going to spend
- 11:49this episode talking about all the reasons why we think that's
- 11:54incorrect, although we'll mention a few.
- 11:57But go back and listen to our first two episodes and also
- 12:01episode 35 with Doug Van Dorn, where Doug lays out how the Jews
- 12:08had an understanding of these two powers in heaven.
- 12:12And the late Michael Heizer would often talk about this,
- 12:16that they looked at the verses in the Old Testament and they
- 12:18saw these two Co equal divine figures.
- 12:22And they're like, huh, OK, well, they seem to be on equal
- 12:27footing. All right, I can accept that.
- 12:30That's what the word of God says.
- 12:32And yet when the Messiah came and they rejected the Messiah
- 12:36because they were looking for the conquering king, and instead
- 12:41they got the suffering servant and they missed him.
- 12:45Well, they couldn't have a divine figure taking human flesh
- 12:50because that that would give credence to the Messiah that
- 12:55that's how he came. And so they looked back at
- 12:57Genesis 6 and they're like, Oh no, we can't have angels taking
- 13:01human form and having relations with human women.
- 13:05So it became punishable by excommunication.
- 13:10It was heresy, even unto death in some cases, for people to
- 13:16hold the angelic, supernatural view of Genesis 6.
- 13:19So let's go ahead and read that just to bring some of our
- 13:22listeners up to speed. We've referenced it a lot so,
- 13:26but I don't want to skip over it.
- 13:28So Genesis 6 And it came to pass, when men began to be
- 13:31numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them,
- 13:34that the sons of God, having seen the daughters of men were
- 13:37beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose.
- 13:41And the Lord God said, My Spirit shall certainly not remain among
- 13:45these men forever, because they are flesh, but their days shall
- 13:48be 120 years. Now the giants were upon the
- 13:52earth in those days and after that when the sons of God were
- 13:57want to go into the daughters of men, and they bore children to
- 14:00them, those were the giants of old, the men of renown.
- 14:05Now a lot of your Bible versions will not say giants, they'll say
- 14:09Nephilim. That's actually taken from the
- 14:12Masoretic text. The Masoretic is the Hebrew Old
- 14:17Testament, which actually was not compiled until at the end of
- 14:23the 1st century and not completed until about the 9th or
- 14:2610th century. All of the references of the Old
- 14:30Testament that we have in the New Testament, in the Gospel and
- 14:34other places, from Paul, from Jesus, they were quoting from
- 14:40the Septuagint, the Greek translation.
- 14:44And it's my opinion that there is a Masoretic text compromise
- 14:50in light again of rejecting the Messiah.
- 14:54So we have literally the word giants.
- 14:59So there isn't any confusion over who the Nephilim are.
- 15:03And let's be clear, you can't get giants from 2 humans.
- 15:06We're not talking about someone with giantism who dies at 30
- 15:10years old, right? Who's like 7 foot 10 and spindly
- 15:14legs right? These were men of renown.
- 15:19I mean you can look up the weight of Goliath who is a small
- 15:24giant by comparison. Look at the weight of his armor
- 15:28alone. This was not a six foot four
- 15:31guy. There's no 6 foot four guys who
- 15:34are running around in 200 lbs of battle gear.
- 15:39So why is this so important? Like why did I want to do a show
- 15:43about this? Every word of God matters and if
- 15:49Satan can get a hold of something that we don't
- 15:52understand or where we are in error about, he can exploit it.
- 15:57It might be hundreds of years later, and here we are in 2024,
- 16:02and most of modern Christianity in the West thinks that the sons
- 16:08of God in Genesis 6 are either divine kings like human kings,
- 16:16or from the line of Seth. And it matters.
- 16:22It matters to how we defend the faith.
- 16:27So man, I couldn't agree more. And when I had this question
- 16:33asked to me and I actually shared it on an interview that
- 16:36should be coming out in the month of May on another show,
- 16:40right? But they said, why is the Divine
- 16:44Council worldview important for you, right?
- 16:48And I had to go back to this thing that happened in, I don't
- 16:52know, maybe it was 2014, 2015, where I'm a new Christian at the
- 16:57time. I, I'm totally focused on
- 17:01growing and knowing who Jesus is going to church, going to Bible
- 17:04studies. But I was preaching the gospel
- 17:08to an old friend in Phoenixville, PA.
- 17:11And he stops and looks at me and says, I grew up in the church.
- 17:15And if you can tell me why God was saying to murder women and
- 17:20children in the Old Testament and that he loves me and he's
- 17:23calling me to repentance today. If you can give me a good reason
- 17:27for that, why God doesn't seem bipolar, I can possibly wrestle
- 17:31with religion again, like, And it shut me down because as a
- 17:36young and new believer, I had no argument for that.
- 17:38I knew the stories in the Old Testament.
- 17:41And at around that time is when I'm just getting familiar with
- 17:44Canary Cry Radio, LA Marzulli, some of these people who went
- 17:47before us, right? But I didn't have a personal
- 17:49response for that because I didn't understand the threads
- 17:53like the seed war in the Bible. What seed are we talking about
- 17:57here? How many rebellions are there in
- 17:59the Bible? Now?
- 18:00The reason I'm bringing this up is because I have a personal
- 18:03motivation to have better answers as well.
- 18:06I'm not just going to nod my head with what any and every
- 18:09denomination out there decides that they're willing to go into.
- 18:12I think there's a higher standard than that.
- 18:14Every yacht and every title will not fade away.
- 18:17It will all come into perfect order.
- 18:19Even this space within the spaces is calculated and
- 18:22measured according to the eternal God of all creation.
- 18:26And when he has a thread that's in the Bible where we have a
- 18:29seed war, what's in the hosh? I mean, if we really want to be
- 18:34Bereans and and understand the the cultural context of the day
- 18:39that the Bible was written, the culture that it was written to
- 18:43and how it is to inculcate every generation because it's eternal.
- 18:47The the word of God is settled in heaven eternally.
- 18:50He changes not, so we have to have better answers.
- 18:53When I started to understand and see the rebellions throughout
- 18:57the word of God. When I started to see that
- 18:59literally tameem is what Noah is mentioned as.
- 19:04He was found righteous, perfect without blemish.
- 19:07The Hebrew word is tameem. It's the same word used to
- 19:11describe the sacrifice of a lamb that was perfect and without
- 19:16blemish. We're talking genetics here.
- 19:17We're not talking some moral compass, right?
- 19:20So when I started to see that stuff come together from the
- 19:23great minds like Doctor Michael Heizer, you know, LA Marzulli,
- 19:27all these other people that were going before us and actually
- 19:30setting the stage and just going, I'm not going to protect
- 19:32you from your Bible anymore. I was able to wrestle through
- 19:36it, prey on it, read it, and then give better answers.
- 19:39That same friend literally called me today, 4/18/2024 and
- 19:47it's a whole different conversation Now When I say that
- 19:50humbly, I don't say that with any pride.
- 19:52I say that because I did not know what to do back in 2014,
- 19:572015 when I got hit with that question.
- 19:59But I prayed and God said to me, hold on, keep me.
- 20:05Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and he
- 20:09shall add on to you. So we need better answers for
- 20:12what's going on today. There's a million messages
- 20:15causing confusion and chaos. Come on.
- 20:16That's a broken record note on my show on the Mustard Seed.
- 20:19But at the end of the day, this stuff is in the word and we have
- 20:24to rightfully divide it and we have to rightfully be able to go
- 20:28in there and give these these better answers.
- 20:30So I would just say we need to spend, you know, the time equal
- 20:35and humility that we do in research while we're doing this
- 20:38stuff. And I would say just from
- 20:40getting to know Pete and Luke, you guys are an example of that.
- 20:43Like we really care about what we're talking about here.
- 20:45This is not for controversy or argument's sake.
- 20:48We're we're trying to get down to the nitty and gritty, if I
- 20:51could say it that way. We're I'm just going to throw
- 20:53out, you know, some bullet points and some notes and you
- 20:56guys feel free to jump in with your thoughts.
- 21:00So that's not just me kind of going on a rant the whole time,
- 21:03but I'll just start here. You know.
- 21:06Jude 1/3 It was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you
- 21:11that ye should earnestly contend for the faith that was once
- 21:15delivered unto the Saints. And so that's what we're going
- 21:18to try to do with the time that we have tonight is just
- 21:21earnestly contend for the faith. So one of the things that I had
- 21:28written in my notes as I was kind of contemplating these
- 21:31ideas, you know, there's a lot of mysteries in God's Word, but
- 21:37they're not. Most of them, if not all of
- 21:39them, are not mysteries because we don't have enough information
- 21:43to discern what is being said or because he deliberately withheld
- 21:47essential clues. But because they take greater
- 21:50diligence to understand, they take more work, they take more
- 21:56information, they harmonize with the whole council of scripture
- 22:01instead of creating contradictions.
- 22:04You know, Chuck Missler, who Rod looks up to quite a bit, and I'm
- 22:08getting into his Revelation studies right now on YouTube,
- 22:12which is fantastic by the way, says to avoid one verse proof
- 22:19texting. Don't just take a verse and try
- 22:22to understand something. Use the whole council of
- 22:25scripture and don't just appeal to mystery and say ah we just
- 22:31can't understand the ways of God or try to explain the hard parts
- 22:35away. God meant for us to understand
- 22:38His Word. If you don't mind, I'll just
- 22:42read one of these quotes from Missler real quick.
- 22:45A perspective should be. The perspective should be
- 22:48consistent with the whole council of Scripture.
- 22:52And then Heiser paraphrases. He says we need to get serious
- 22:55about interpreting the Bible in the context of the original
- 22:59audience at the time it was written.
- 23:01There was only one correct interpretation for the intent of
- 23:04the author, the author of the audience at that time it was
- 23:08written. And so the ancients knew all
- 23:12this stuff that's been hidden from us.
- 23:14So the language is being used there.
- 23:17It's, it's, it's hard to get people today to really
- 23:19understand that they, they were aware of what Pantheon's where
- 23:24they knew there was lowercase G gods all over the place.
- 23:26They knew there were spiritual covenants and threshing floors
- 23:29and agreements and all this stuff.
- 23:31And we're kind of just discovering this now.
- 23:34We were talking about this before we started recording.
- 23:37You know exactly that. I mean, the, the early church,
- 23:42the disciples, the Israelis of that day, they understood.
- 23:48The Book of Enoch, they understood what what that meant.
- 23:53And then you're right, Pete, it, it was twisted to fit a
- 23:59religion. And you know, people were
- 24:04persecuted if you believe something different.
- 24:07But here we are in the last 100 years, I would say really the
- 24:12last decade or two, it's really exploded where you, you, you
- 24:19start hearing Genesis 6 and the seed war.
- 24:22You're starting to see it more and more and more.
- 24:25And that's, you know, awesome. Because I mean, we started this
- 24:29podcast because we're trying to understand Genesis and tie it
- 24:33into what Jesus was saying as it was in the days of Noah.
- 24:38It's going to be like that when I return.
- 24:40So if he's coming during our generation, if we're part of the
- 24:45last day church, what was it like during Genesis Six time?
- 24:50So it is important to understand the scripture and what that
- 24:56context truly meant. And Luke referenced the seed
- 25:01war. And if you guys have heard us
- 25:03mention that and when this episode airs, you'll have
- 25:06already listeners, you'll have already heard our interview with
- 25:11with LA Marzulli. And he says that it was so
- 25:15pivotal for him when he heard Gary Stearman of Sky Watch TV
- 25:20layout how foundational Genesis 315 is.
- 25:25So Luke and I, and here we are with Rod talking about the
- 25:27importance of Genesis 6. Take it back a few chapters.
- 25:32Genesis 3 is where it starts. So you have the serpent
- 25:37beguiling the woman and Adam and Eve's sin and the curse that God
- 25:44puts on the serpent. And then we have this
- 25:48pronouncement of of judgment. Genesis 315 I will put enmity
- 25:54between you and the woman. He's got his speaking to the
- 25:57serpent here, Satan, and between your offspring and hers.
- 26:01He will crush your head and you will strike his heel.
- 26:05And so this seed war is, and again, if you look up the, the,
- 26:11the word for seed or offspring in this context, this isn't like
- 26:16in the New Testament where you know, you were of your father
- 26:21the devil, right? That was, that was a metaphor
- 26:25when it was saying you're of the type of that you're, you know,
- 26:28you're not following God in this verse.
- 26:31It literally means like seed as in offspring, like genetic
- 26:36offspring. So this is the seed war set in
- 26:39motion. And Genesis 6 was Satan's
- 26:42attempt to mess with God's human image bearers on earth and try
- 26:50to corrupt that seed in a way God showed his hand a little bit
- 26:54in Genesis 315. He says, hey, I'm going to have
- 26:58this against you. Yeah, he was, but he's playing
- 27:014D chess. 5D chess. Well, however you want to
- 27:03describe it and you know he, he still caught the devil off
- 27:07guard. I mean, even though the devil
- 27:10was messing with genetics, which you know, end result, Noah's
- 27:15flood messing with genetics or judgment wise, you know, all
- 27:21these babies are being killed in Egypt, the time of Moses, time
- 27:26of Jesus, you know, you had two years old, Herod was killing
- 27:30babies 2 years old and younger, you know, so the devil knew
- 27:35there was something going on with the seed, with offspring,
- 27:38with genetics and he was trying his best with the clues he was
- 27:43given. You know, even blatantly God
- 27:47said try to beat me with this but he can't, you know?
- 27:54And it just reminds me like Stephen was stoned to death,
- 27:57right, because he gave such a beautiful overview of what the
- 28:02Spirit put on his heart to the teachers themselves.
- 28:05So we have to remember that the Ruach, the Holy Spirit leads us
- 28:10into all truth. He's our teacher.
- 28:12It's it perplexes me. You know, even the idea of you
- 28:17brought up Jude 1/3, right? We are compelled to write and to
- 28:20urge to contend for the faith that was once entrusted to all
- 28:24the God's holy people. Holy is separate and set apart,
- 28:27right? It means you're set apart now,
- 28:29holy. What does God say in his word?
- 28:33He has set Jacob apart for himself.
- 28:36The other nations were given to other gods.
- 28:39What were the other gods involved in pantheonistic views?
- 28:43It's written on rocks. It's, I mean, you can't get
- 28:46around it. You'd have to have your head in
- 28:48the sand to not see it, pun intended.
- 28:51Especially if you're in Egypt or the Middle East.
- 28:53I mean, the stuff is all over the place there.
- 28:55So God, he sets his people apart, makes them holy.
- 29:00They're separate, sacred, apart from everything else.
- 29:04And he says I am their God, the one and only, right?
- 29:07Even the Jews say the Lord our God is one, right?
- 29:11So we're contending for the faith in the sense that these
- 29:14lowercase G gods are real according to the Word of God and
- 29:18the Nephilim offsprings are recorded in the eternal Word of
- 29:21God and the evidence for them is there.
- 29:23Just like if you're, how could you not see the physical
- 29:27evidence? You look at geology.
- 29:29We we we study geology to support the Bible.
- 29:32Well, what if we looked at the hieroglyphics?
- 29:34If we look at the megalithic structures that have been
- 29:36established all over the world? Pete, we did the weird Wisconsin
- 29:39episode. We got dirt man, dirt effigies,
- 29:42all kinds of stuff coming out of Wisconsin here in the States.
- 29:45And that's not even ancient territory that we have great
- 29:49record of information because a lot of it is passed down oral
- 29:52tradition from the American Indians here in the States,
- 29:55right? So when we look at locations
- 29:57that are undisputable, we go to Petra, we go to, I mean, the
- 30:01list goes on and on. But the idea here is if we use
- 30:04the same template to study archaeology or geology and say
- 30:08this has to be true because XY and Z lines up, I don't know how
- 30:12we couldn't read the Bible like a Berean, see the evidence for
- 30:15these seed wars, see the threads that go through all these
- 30:18rebellions and actually zoom out now to the macrocosm and look at
- 30:22the temples, the what's etched in rock about these battles, in
- 30:28these wars. And I think that's where we
- 30:31really need to push that perspective too, because it gets
- 30:34people out of the theological, I'm inside the wall, the
- 30:38building in the seminary preference right now.
- 30:40It starts to take you. And like LA says, I'm not an
- 30:44armchair researcher. This is what LA Mazzoli says.
- 30:47He's like, my, my boots are on the ground.
- 30:49I'm going to these locations. Well, dude, I counsel in person
- 30:53and and over the phone people who are satanic ritual abuse
- 30:56survivors. I've been doing, you know,
- 30:59behind the scenes delving into this stuff for years, telling
- 31:02people pray, break these chains, bind it in the heavens.
- 31:07There's power in the name of Yeshua, right?
- 31:09So I see the evidence just in the spirit realm that that's my
- 31:14template. And then when I look at the word
- 31:15of God, all of this stuff fits together.
- 31:18And I feel like I went on a bit of a rant there, but I really
- 31:20just jumped in my spirit. Like, you know what, We have
- 31:23evidence in other places where people can use these methods to,
- 31:27to say this is undisputable. It's true.
- 31:29But then it's interesting why they can't do that with the very
- 31:32thing they say they represent. I'm I think it takes some
- 31:35humility, right? Like they're doing something
- 31:37right, we're doing something right, they're doing something
- 31:39wrong, we're doing something wrong.
- 31:40We all have a little something right and a little something
- 31:44wrong. Yeah.
- 31:45And it, you know, one of the things I had in my notes is, you
- 31:50know, put the Bible aside for just a second.
- 31:54Like Rod said, if we didn't have all of this geological,
- 31:59historical, archaeological evidence, finding these giant
- 32:03skeletons, having all of these accounts all over the world of
- 32:08people seeing these beings. Josephus writing about it in the
- 32:12museum in his day, you know, one of the most revered historians
- 32:18of the Jewish time Second Temple.
- 32:21You know, we have all that evidence.
- 32:23If we didn't have any of that stuff, then maybe maybe we could
- 32:27say, oh, shoot, hey, Rod Luke, maybe, maybe I'm messing up on
- 32:32what the sons of God mean in the Bible.
- 32:34Maybe, but I I submit to the you that the only exegetically that
- 32:40means taking out of the Scripture, not isageting putting
- 32:43into the Scripture your own your own presuppositions.
- 32:47The only exegetically sound way of interpreting the sons of God
- 32:52is angelic beings. The Banay Elohim Job is the
- 32:58oldest book in the Bible in the law of first mention as a
- 33:02hermeneutic is it sets the stage for how that word or phrase is
- 33:07used later in Scripture. And Banay Elohim means a means a
- 33:12direct creation of God when the lineage of humanity is
- 33:16presented, the only one that's called a son of God is Adam
- 33:20because he was a direct creation.
- 33:23Other than that, it is a divinely created being, the sons
- 33:29of God. OK.
- 33:31But yes, we have all of this outside of the Bible evidence
- 33:35too. So really, like Luke was saying,
- 33:39you know, it's for a religion. We're trying to protect a
- 33:41worldview. And unfortunately, I mean, guys,
- 33:45I could do a whole show on the damage that I think Augustine or
- 33:49Augustine, however you pronounce it as done to Christianity when
- 33:53it comes to what is now Calvinism, when it comes to the
- 33:59Sethite view, interpreting Genesis 6 naturalistically.
- 34:03He was so influential in his day and to this day in modern
- 34:09Christianity. That's why we have those views.
- 34:13And it is so damaging to the word of God and to the character
- 34:19of God and it it's so, so unfortunate.
- 34:24Anyway, let me get back on track here.
- 34:26Mike Kaiser says that Genesis 6 is a polemic against the
- 34:32Mesopotamian context of the Anunnaki.
- 34:36This was research that really began in earnest not until about
- 34:402010, he says. Right.
- 34:43So all these seminaries who for hundreds of years are teaching
- 34:47this Sethite view of the sons of God, they don't understand the
- 34:53context. As Heiser says, for the time in
- 34:56which it was written, Genesis is setting the record straight.
- 35:02We have the fake news version out there, right?
- 35:05The Anunnaki Genesis 6 is a polemic against that.
- 35:10That's why it's mentioned. It gives us a narrative to
- 35:14understand our Old Testament. And Rod, I think you were
- 35:20talking earlier about knowledge increasing in latter days.
- 35:24Is that from Daniel? Yeah, that's from Daniel.
- 35:28And I just heard Chuck Missler on one of his Revelation series
- 35:34mention that his opinion and other scholars is that when it
- 35:38says knowledge will increase in latter days, it isn't
- 35:41necessarily talking about knowledge in general.
- 35:44It's talking about knowledge biblically, scripturally.
- 35:48Now, isn't that interesting that as Luke said, just in the last
- 35:53couple decades, these things are really overwhelmingly the
- 35:59evidence and you know, talking about Nephilim, talking about
- 36:05sons of. God I almost feel like that
- 36:06scripture could be multi layered and I agree with you that things
- 36:11that were hidden Speaking of Genesis 6 the seed war, the true
- 36:15meaning of the book of the book of Enoch period was basically
- 36:21abandoned as far as or even lost.
- 36:24I don't know what's full history, but until recently, but
- 36:28I feel like as far as the knowledge part, I feel it's,
- 36:31it's not just the the knowledge of the scriptures being
- 36:37available to us and it's a new revelation and we're really
- 36:40understanding it like we should again here in these last days.
- 36:43But I, I almost feel like I looked at the Industrial
- 36:47Revolution, you know, as being knowledge increasing.
- 36:52I mean, how many hundreds of years did we go through and
- 36:57didn't have electricity? And then all of a sudden this
- 37:00explosion of knowledge, it, it almost echoes what took place
- 37:06during Genesis 6. There was a trade and then there
- 37:10was a transfer of knowledge. They had technology back then
- 37:15that we don't even have today. So there was a gap, you know, so
- 37:20they had it. They were, it was genes, genes,
- 37:23the flood. There was, you know, basically
- 37:25everybody started over and then there was basically over 1000
- 37:30years, right? You know, where we're, we're
- 37:34relearning things. So what, what happened, what
- 37:38happened, you know, where knowledge is increasing.
- 37:41And then we're just like, wow, you know, we're figuring things
- 37:45out. Maybe it's because Jesus is
- 37:47coming back. For sure.
- 37:52And the multi layered idea just to highlight that.
- 37:55Spot on, Luke, spot on. And let me just ask a question,
- 37:59not that I'm looking for a response from either one of you
- 38:02to comment on it if you would like to, But in the New
- 38:06Testament where the author says the angels that disrobed of
- 38:11their former estate just want to drop that one, let the audience
- 38:16investigate that. I believe Chuck Missler talked
- 38:19about what they disrobed of was ocarion is the Greek word for
- 38:23that fleshly body. And one more thing I want to
- 38:26bring up, if angels were able to materialize and dematerialize,
- 38:31right? I asked Gary Wayne on A2 part
- 38:34series I did with him recently. What are the invisible ones in
- 38:38the invisible, the visible ones, how are they in direct tandem
- 38:42with each other? How are they operating?
- 38:44Doctor Laura Sanger talks about Nephilim hosts, right?
- 38:48So when Jesus is saying it shall be like the days of Noah at the
- 38:51his second coming, that means there was a lack for a period in
- 38:56between the days of Noah till his coming where these things I
- 39:00don't think could fully materialize.
- 39:02If you want to look at an Angel as being, let's just say
- 39:05condensed energy or astral energy or something like that,
- 39:09where the ones who have not fallen could appear before
- 39:13Abraham and eat with him. There's stories where angels
- 39:16would enter into a elemental, the fire, and ascend up to
- 39:19heaven. It's all in the Bible.
- 39:22I don't think it's poetic. I don't think it's like I write
- 39:25poetry, Pete, You write poetry. Some of it's just not poetic in
- 39:28that sense. But even though the Hebrew
- 39:30poetic mindset wasn't for rhythmic of word, it was for
- 39:34rhythmic of storytelling. But still, we can't look at that
- 39:37in this this, this current cultural state and just dismiss
- 39:42all of the case and the evidence that a Brian's mind can present
- 39:47at a surface glance. That's in the word of God.
- 39:49So when you say multi layered, Luke, I'm like jumping out of my
- 39:52chair. Like I feel like I'd ramble for
- 39:54like hours about all these little things that line up for
- 39:57me. Personally, let's talk.
- 39:58Let's talk about information and communication, right?
- 40:02The most potent way to communicate something is
- 40:05literal. Like if I'm like, if I want Rod
- 40:09to to go down to the store and get me a gallon of milk, I'm
- 40:12going to say, Rod, can you go to and I'll say the specific store.
- 40:16I'll say the kind of milk. If I you know, if I'm really
- 40:19particular, what kind of milk do I want?
- 40:23Now you, you you take that different ways, allegory,
- 40:26metaphor. And now what does he really mean
- 40:29when he says milk? You know, it, it gets a little
- 40:32nebulous. I think it's just like God to
- 40:36have the multi layers, but he starts with the literal most of
- 40:42the time because it is the most direct way to communicate
- 40:45something. And I have to agree with with
- 40:48the late Chuck Missler of taking what he calls a high hermeneutic
- 40:53that we take the Bible for what it says.
- 40:56God says what he means, and he means what he says.
- 41:00And if he's saying that sons of God, Banai Elohim came down and
- 41:04had relations that with women and literal giants, the
- 41:08Septuagint translates it as Gigas giants.
- 41:13OK? They weren't mincing words with
- 41:15Nephilim. They didn't leave it
- 41:16untranslated like the Masoretic Text did in most of our Old
- 41:21Testaments. That's what it says.
- 41:24That's what happens. Now.
- 41:27You guys can go back to episodes 1-2 and 35 and and others and
- 41:33look at the reasons why. There's just no getting around
- 41:38that. These were angels that did this.
- 41:40But let's talk a little bit about information.
- 41:43We have, as Gary Wayne put it, the interpretive approach came
- 41:48in, in the last few 100 years versus the literal approach.
- 41:51Our seminaries were teaching pastors to look at an
- 41:55allegorizing. Most of our, most of our
- 41:58churches today look at, for example, the Book of Revelation
- 42:02as allegory, metaphorical. They don't take it literal when
- 42:07it comes to the Millennium, when it comes to all these things.
- 42:10Same with Genesis. You have progressive
- 42:12Christianity. That's that's saying, oh, these
- 42:15are just meant to to pass on timeless truths.
- 42:20And yet here's Answers in Genesis, this fantastic
- 42:24organization who is showing there's literally physical
- 42:28evidence for this biblical flood.
- 42:32Like you're not going to have these things any other way.
- 42:36And then they try to make, you know, we try to make evolution
- 42:40or old earth cosmology try to fit with the Bible when it just
- 42:44doesn't work because now then you've got sin and death
- 42:48entering the world before the fall of Adam and Eve.
- 42:53It doesn't work. So if we're starting with the
- 42:56Bible 1st and we don't give up ground on the Bible, I got there
- 43:01some great quotes here from Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis I want
- 43:05to read. There's too much at stake.
- 43:10We can't give up the foundation of the Bible as truth when we
- 43:13try to argue apologetics. So what that means, guys, is we
- 43:18don't, we don't say, oh, this person doesn't believe in the
- 43:20Bible, so I'm not going to use it.
- 43:24People don't understand these topics, Ken says, because
- 43:27pastors aren't teaching it. That's right.
- 43:32The attack is on the word of God, right from the serpent in
- 43:35the garden. You guys remember, what did he
- 43:38say to Eve? Did God really say so?
- 43:44The attack on the word of God, and this is, I don't know if I
- 43:47mentioned this earlier in our recording, but I'll say it now.
- 43:52One of the biggest jobs of Satan is to take meaning away from
- 44:00things, to dilute meaning. You know, words hardly hold any
- 44:07meaning anymore. Kids are growing up not
- 44:10understanding the roots of, you know, cuss words where they came
- 44:14from. All these words had meaning.
- 44:16They came they they were put together over time and we have
- 44:21such a a post Christian world that that it's like Satan just
- 44:27revels in that because now it now you can fill in the blank of
- 44:30any meaning that you want. Some other quotes from Ken.
- 44:34The attack is on the word of God right from the serpent of
- 44:36garden. There is no neutral position.
- 44:39If you're not gathering your scattering.
- 44:41We can't be neutral on the word of God.
- 44:44And churches, he says, are teaching all kinds of views on
- 44:48Genesis one through 11. And that's not good.
- 44:54And that's why I think it's just so important that we hold up an
- 44:59understanding of who the sons of God and the Nephilim are and why
- 45:03it's so important to understand it literally.
- 45:08It answers a few things that are crucial to show why the severity
- 45:13of the flood and the conquest of the Canaanites was necessary.
- 45:18Because God's character is at stake.
- 45:22Because people are rejecting God.
- 45:24Because no one is telling them the real context of the days of
- 45:27Noah. And to be a champion for
- 45:32biblical literalism and integrity.
- 45:36We just can't afford to let errors in.
- 45:39We need to preserve and champion the literal truth of what
- 45:42happened in Genesis 6. In Second Timothy 2:15 it says
- 45:47study to show themselves approved unto God a Workman that
- 45:51needeth not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of
- 45:55truth from a fellow institute similar to answers in Genesis,
- 46:02the creation Research Institute for from creation research
- 46:06website. Rather they have this.
- 46:09This command is for us to give diligence.
- 46:12The Greek spudazo for God's approval by rightly dividing the
- 46:16word of truth. That which is to be rightly
- 46:19divided is not in doubt. That which is to be rightly
- 46:24divided is not in doubt. Sanctify them through thy truth.
- 46:29Thy word is truth. John 1717.
- 46:33The end goal is to display yourself as one who is therefore
- 46:37approved by God. The key is to rightly divide the
- 46:40scriptures. The Greek word orthotomeo, only
- 46:46used this one time, has several shades of meaning.
- 46:49To cut straight, To cut straight ways, to proceed on straight
- 46:54paths. Hold a straight course to make
- 46:58straight and smooth, to handle a right, and to teach the truth
- 47:02directly and correctly. And that's why this stuff is
- 47:09important, guys. There is one proper
- 47:12interpretation for any section of scripture, although many,
- 47:16many applications and perhaps layers of meaning.
- 47:20But there is one interpretation for what that author was trying
- 47:25to communicate to his audience. And if we don't understand that
- 47:32in every area of Bible of in every area of the Bible, that is
- 47:36an area for Satan to exploit. I would say Amen to echo the
- 47:44scriptures you know about studying to show thyself
- 47:47approved. I, I think when you were reading
- 47:50that I was, I was, I was thinking as like, man, I, I need
- 47:53to be praying that over myself. When I mean daily, you know,
- 47:58what is, what does the scripture say about wisdom?
- 48:03I mean, it's the foremost thing to get and to have.
- 48:07So I would put both of those together, you know, when it
- 48:10comes to reading and understanding and to rightly
- 48:15dividing the word, rightly understanding the word and, and,
- 48:21and pray for wisdom that we will be able to consume it,
- 48:27understand it, you know, retain it and then present it as, as
- 48:34the, as, as the Scripture says that we're supposed to be ready
- 48:38at all times to give an exclamation or not an
- 48:43exclamation explanation, lose it act.
- 48:48That's the word for our faith. And just as we wind down, you
- 48:55know, Pete, you had mentioned a couple minutes back, you know,
- 48:59in Revelation, you know, when we open the Book of Revelation, it
- 49:05says to us this, this is the knowledge, the details of the
- 49:10Lord Yeshua, of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 49:13Like do we think that there's no multi layered meanings with the
- 49:21Lord? Do we think that he is not the
- 49:25one who understood He would be crucified before the foundations
- 49:29of the earth that we walk and tremble upon The enemy's real
- 49:34you guys, and the enemy has a real plan to keep you from
- 49:38understanding who he is and the way that he works.
- 49:42And when the Bible warns us to be as wise as a serpent but as
- 49:45harmless as a dove, to not be ignorant to the devil's devices,
- 49:50to expose the darkness, the fruitless seeds of darkness, and
- 49:53have nothing to do with those who contribute to the evil
- 49:55right. I say that from the standpoint
- 49:59of not only can we recognize the enemy has been attacking the
- 50:04word of God, attacking your peace, your life, but he also
- 50:11was very interested, very invested in you not knowing his
- 50:20presence in the Old Testament, the New Testament and the days
- 50:24that we live in, in the format of a real appearing enemy to
- 50:32Hasatan. I don't think there's one of
- 50:34them. You guys, there's not one of
- 50:38them because in Genesis, if if the the serpent deceives Eve and
- 50:43and he's no longer allowed to move around, he's restricted to
- 50:48the ground. How in job or is he going up to
- 50:51the throne room? How is he on the dirt in his
- 50:54belly? So I'm alluding and just kind of
- 50:57playing with these ideas as we wind down here.
- 51:01It hoping to challenge the audience to really solidify
- 51:04everything we've talked about and for them to study to show
- 51:07themselves well approved. I don't think that there's one
- 51:09enemy. I don't think there's one guy
- 51:11responsible for trying to deceive us.
- 51:13I don't think that there's one Nephilim.
- 51:15I don't think there's one invisible one.
- 51:17I think there's many of them. And don't give Satan any more
- 51:23ground by rejecting the fact that God is telling you the
- 51:26spiritual battle is real, that God is telling you that he has
- 51:30armor for you to put on and a Berean mindset that he can work
- 51:34in and through you to actually let these things be made known
- 51:37deep with it within us as we testify here on this episode.
- 51:44It's always an honor to get together with both of you guys,
- 51:46man. And just planting seeds.
- 51:49Here I am thinking out loud most of the time just planting seeds,
- 51:52but I, I believe that God is calling me to that and so much
- 51:56more. So thank you for just letting me
- 51:59plant seeds here with you guys tonight during this
- 52:01conversation. I wish we had more time.
- 52:03We could probably do like a 3-4 hour symposium and still not get
- 52:07through enough material. There's so many people that need
- 52:10to be shouted out who went before us who literally have
- 52:14this stuff laid out. It's undisputable because it's
- 52:17in the Bible. Yeah, it's incredible.
- 52:19So thank you. Thanks, Rod.
- 52:22It's incredible. When we were talking to LA and
- 52:25as I was getting ready for that interview, he mentioned and
- 52:30after the top of my head, I I don't recall it, but when this
- 52:34post, if you guys go back an episode and listen to it, it's
- 52:37in there. The gentleman that wrote the
- 52:40book that LA ordered from his local books, his local bookstore
- 52:46in 1990, guys, That's how he heard about the Nephilim.
- 52:53And we just released an episode with Derek Gilbert and it was LA
- 52:59that introduced the Nephilim to him, even though it's in our
- 53:02Bibles. And it was Luke, my brother,
- 53:07introducing the Nephilim to me. It was Randy Demane.
- 53:10What? Are the sons of God Randy?
- 53:11Demane introducing it to me so. Yeah.
- 53:16So like like Rod's saying, we're spreading these seeds guys.
- 53:19This is important information for what is to come, for what is
- 53:24the days of Noah for understanding our Bible,
- 53:27understanding the narrative of what took place in the Old
- 53:30Testament, and part of what Jesus came to accomplish in the
- 53:35New Testament to destroy the works of the devil.
- 53:41And when he declared himself at the foot of Mount Hermon and
- 53:46asked who do you say I am, And said that Peter answered rightly
- 53:53that he was the Christ. It was right at that base of
- 53:59this angelic rebellion that took place for the exchange of women
- 54:07for knowledge. So these days are upon us.
- 54:11They are returning. We need to have better answers
- 54:16for the skeptic. Very thankful, Rod, for sharing
- 54:19that story that you mentioned there about someone who had that
- 54:23very question. We don't know what everyone is
- 54:29going to need to check off their list before they're ready to
- 54:34give their heart to the Lord in faith.
- 54:37We all have kind of our our list.
- 54:39If we're not there yet. There's some things that are
- 54:41just kind of in the way. And you know, some people are
- 54:47like Thomas, we need to put our hands in the side and in the
- 54:52hands of Christ and go, OK, I can feel you and see that.
- 54:56Yep, that was where the nail was that you were on the cross for
- 54:59me. We, we don't take everything on
- 55:03faith. So apologetics are important to
- 55:06give a reason for our faith. And the great thing about truth
- 55:11is it stands up to scrutiny. It will stand up to the test.
- 55:16There was some great advice in in one of Chuck Missler's
- 55:20Revelation videos on YouTube. I'm going to post a link to
- 55:24that. There's several channels that
- 55:26have all 24 episodes. It's over 30 hours of content,
- 55:29guys. Something you can put on while
- 55:31you're working in the garage or out in the yard or something.
- 55:36But he says if you have you come across an area scripture that
- 55:40you don't understand, you're not sure what it's saying it it
- 55:43seems to contradict with something else.
- 55:45Get a notebook or use a notepad app in your smartphone and jot
- 55:50that down and then ask God's Spirit to reveal to you what
- 55:55that is and be expectant that he's going to reveal that.
- 55:59And it might be, you know, somebody says something to you
- 56:02at the grocery store a week later and it triggers a thought
- 56:07and then suddenly it will make sense.
- 56:10But there are answers for the deep questions of Scripture.
- 56:15And hopefully Luke and Rod and myself can help encourage you
- 56:20guys listening that the word of God is trustworthy.
- 56:25You can bet your life on it. So with that, we will wrap up on
- 56:31the Days of Noah podcast. Thanks Rod, for this one.
- 56:34Yes, thank you Sir. Always enjoy.
- 56:35Planting seeds alongside. Of the both of you for sure.
- 56:38Until next time. Until next time.
- 57:05Anybody in the church that doesn't take a position on
- 57:09Genesis 6, it's a foundational thing that opens your eyes to
- 57:15the Bible, the reality of what took place in Noah's time and
- 57:20what's taking place now. We agree with these quotes.
- 57:24Therefore, we need to understand Genesis 6 one through 4.
- 57:27For example, he says. We can't give up on the
- 57:30foundation of the Bible as truth when we try to argue
- 57:33apologetics. People don't understand these
- 57:36topics because pastors are not teaching it.
- 57:39The attack is on the Word of God right from the serpent in the
- 57:42garden. Did God really say he says
- 57:45there's no neutral position if you're not gathering or
- 57:48scattering? Churches are teaching all kinds
- 57:50of you on Genesis one through 11, and that's not good.
- 57:54I'm agreeing and saying take it. Take what you were saying and
- 57:59apply it to Genesis 6. Understand how important it is
- 58:04to fight for every word of God. We don't get to be neutral that
- 58:10we have to take a position on it, because anything that we're
- 58:13neutral on or anything that is an error, the enemy can exploit
- 58:18down the road and he stops. And looks at me and says I grew.
- 58:22Up in the church and if you can. Tell.
- 58:26Me why God was saying to murder women and children in the Old
- 58:30Testament, I can possibly wrestle with religion again like
- 58:35and it shut me down because as a young and new believer, I had no
- 58:38argument for that. I didn't have a personal
- 58:41response for that because I didn't understand the threads
- 58:45like the seed bore in the Bible. What seed are we talking about
- 58:48here? So when I started to see that
- 58:51stuff come together from the great minds like Doctor Michael
- 58:54Heizer, you know, LA Marzulli, all these other people that were
- 58:57going before us and actually setting the stage and just
- 59:00going, I'm not going to protect you from your Bible anymore.
- 59:02I was able to wrestle through it, prey on it, read it, and
- 59:07then give better answers. That same friend literally
- 59:11called me today and it's a whole different.
- 59:14Conversation now. And I say that humbly.
- 59:16I don't say that with any pride. I say that because I did not
- 59:20know what to do back in 2014, 2015 when I got hit with that
- 59:24question. Music.
