- 0:45Speaker 2: who can do Texas Top Stories. Producer Poo never allowed
- 0:48Speaker 2: to do it ever again, ever, ever again.
- 0:51Speaker 1: It was one of the worst things I've ever heard.
- 0:54Speaker 3: My Please tell me it's on the app or recorded somewhere,
- 0:57Speaker 3: because I got it here.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Well, if it is, do me a favor immediately Pooh
- 1:01Speaker 2: and take it down. I am not gonna let that
- 1:03Speaker 2: ruin my career. I've worked way too hard.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Oh, I come in yesterday, and you know, obviously there
- 1:09Speaker 2: was a fiasco where Cannis will get into that her
- 1:11Speaker 2: flights get canceled, and you know it's a mess. And
- 1:14Speaker 2: I tell Poo the night before we call and rally.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm like, you're gonna have to do Texas Top Stories.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Have some stories ready. I come in here, you know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: yesterday morning, and I go, what stories do you have?
- 1:24Speaker 1: And he goes, uh, oh okay, let me start looking
- 1:28Speaker 1: them up.
- 1:31Speaker 4: You didn't prep the night before.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Prep is not in vocabulary. I had some things lined up.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I have an idea of what I want to talk about. Well,
- 1:41Speaker 2: you know, the idea wasn't good enough. Thank god your back, Cannis.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Maybe you can explain what happened. It was an absolute mess.
- 1:49Speaker 2: First of all, Cannis Lopez tried to tour the United
- 1:51Speaker 2: States in two days.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yes, that was not the plan.
- 1:55Speaker 3: So originally, you know, my son turned eight on Friday, right,
- 1:58Speaker 3: so he wanted to go.
- 1:59Speaker 4: To a national park.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Gave him the chance to pick a party or a trip.
- 2:01Speaker 3: He picked a trip national park.
- 2:03Speaker 4: That was his thing.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Well, in the meantime, as we're planning his birthday, we
- 2:07Speaker 3: realized we have the opportunity to go to the Indianapolis
- 2:10Speaker 3: five hundred, which is like the greatest race in our.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Ever, and you guys are into that.
- 2:15Speaker 3: We're totally into that, of course, so we support We
- 2:18Speaker 3: take him to the National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
- 2:20Speaker 3: We have a good time, and then we surprise him
- 2:22Speaker 3: and tell him, actually we got to pack up and
- 2:24Speaker 3: leave tomorrow morning.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Because we're going to Indy. He freaks out. It's this
- 2:27Speaker 4: whole thing. Anyways, we go to the Indy five hundred
- 2:30Speaker 4: on Sunday.
- 2:31Speaker 3: My plan was to immediately leave the track and go
- 2:34Speaker 3: straight to the airport.
- 2:35Speaker 4: That's what we did.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Now, it was Sunday.
- 2:37Speaker 3: That was Sunday, right before Memorial Day. I had a
- 2:40Speaker 3: great time. It was the closest finish in history. The
- 2:42Speaker 3: race was awesome. ZED was in the infield performing. I mean,
- 2:45Speaker 3: it was just I was in a suite with a
- 2:47Speaker 3: bunch of celebrities. So I got to also tell you
- 2:49Speaker 3: who I was completely starstruck by. Really, yes, you at
- 2:53Speaker 3: the Indy five hundred. But anyways, so I get to
- 2:56Speaker 3: the airport. My flight's delayed, delayed, delayed. My husband and
- 2:59Speaker 3: my son take off off. They're going to camp, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 3: about two hours outside of Indianapolis on their way to Nashville.
- 3:05Speaker 4: So flight gets canceled.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Ultimately, I'm standing there, I'm like, okay, try to rebook.
- 3:10Speaker 3: There's no flights on Memorial Day out of Indianapolis to
- 3:13Speaker 3: Dallas because of the race. So most people, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 3: come in for the race and then they leave the
- 3:18Speaker 3: next day.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Not like me. No flights, So.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I uber to almost two hours to where they're camping at.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm like.
- 3:28Speaker 3: They're driving to Nashville tomorrow. I'll just get a flight
- 3:31Speaker 3: out of Nashville right.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Get down there.
- 3:34Speaker 3: You know, at the end of the day, I'm making somemores,
- 3:36Speaker 3: keeping the campfire going Sunday night.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Just not plan to mom right or do anything at
- 3:41Speaker 4: that point.
- 3:43Speaker 3: So the next day, we drive to Nashville, get to Nashville,
- 3:46Speaker 3: ready to get on my flight there, get to the airport,
- 3:49Speaker 3: they drop me off and leave.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Again, delay, delay, cancel. I'm had the worst luck ever.
- 3:55Speaker 2: The weather wasn't even that crazy. I mean, there was
- 3:57Speaker 2: some storms, but it wasn't that bad.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Yeah, well they kept saying it was weather in Dallas.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Dallas was at a ground stop, you know, it was
- 4:03Speaker 3: just backing up, and then you know, staffing issues and
- 4:06Speaker 3: all sorts of things were going on apparently mess So
- 4:09Speaker 3: I finally I'm delayed yesterday, the third day at an
- 4:12Speaker 3: airport in a row. But I finally made it home
- 4:14Speaker 3: last night, got got home, so happy realized I had voted.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Go to vote.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I've got like three minutes to get in money.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Exhausted.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I'm exhausted.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I need a vacation from you know, the fiasco I
- 4:25Speaker 3: went through. Wow, So I apologize for not being here yesterday.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I was doing everything I could.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Well it wasn't enough, but I'm glad to be back.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Well, we did find out one thing Pooh also challenged.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Not only he said he could water ski, he also
- 4:41Speaker 2: said he could roller skates.
- 4:42Speaker 4: So he's wearing the er rental skates.
- 4:45Speaker 5: That.
- 4:45Speaker 1: What's going on there? Pooh, I told you I can
- 4:49Speaker 1: roller skate.
- 4:50Speaker 6: And our friend DJ Wiki his aunt Yeah, his aunt
- 4:54Speaker 6: owns west Lake Skates.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And on god right shout out to Wiki. Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 6: He was like, I want to see if you can
- 4:59Speaker 6: prove Billy wrong. I doubt you can't, So meet me.
- 5:02Speaker 6: I got some skates for you.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Okay, So I haven't really seen you operate on these things. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 2: but they're rental skates from what.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Rink west Lake Skates Center and guards shout out to them.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Such good memories looking at those rental skates.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I can smell them from here.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm just po feet.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So I saw you skate it wasn't a skate into
- 5:25Speaker 2: the studio.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Was almost like a shuffle shuffle because I didn't tighten them.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm out of shade.
- 5:32Speaker 5: TI.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Yeah, I was trying to tie him and I wait
- 5:34Speaker 6: a minute, it's a whole process. Hold on, you can't
- 5:37Speaker 6: bend over. No, it was a whole process. I need
- 5:40Speaker 6: to say time. Yeah, I gotta sit down on the
- 5:42Speaker 6: ground of time. Yeah, I'm man.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I tried. I tried to do it.
- 5:50Speaker 7: For the seat.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Remember that dayd iced over outside the building and he
- 5:55Speaker 3: went out there.
- 5:56Speaker 4: That's what he looks like on the skates.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but wait, who I'm kind of concerned that you
- 6:01Speaker 2: cannot literally bend over and touch your toes.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Over, but I'm worried on the fall.
- 6:04Speaker 6: So I literally have to sit on the ground and
- 6:07Speaker 6: do it just to make sure. Yeah, because I tried
- 6:09Speaker 6: to do it. Yeah, carcon bench, Yeah there's a bench.
- 6:15Speaker 6: I could do it, probably on a bench or whatever.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And have you ever touched your toes? I proved you wrong.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I'm just my toes the other day.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I know, but I just can't believe you can't. That's
- 6:25Speaker 2: why you can't skate. If you can't tie your skates,
- 6:28Speaker 2: I can.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Tie him by skates. I just have to sit down
- 6:30Speaker 1: in the time.
- 6:31Speaker 4: If you had a hangmail right now, what are you
- 6:32Speaker 4: gonna do?
- 6:33Speaker 1: He's gonna call me? Yeah, all right, Well we got
- 6:41Speaker 1: a lot to talk about today, so I don't want
- 6:44Speaker 1: to have you skate just yet. We'll do that. We
- 6:46Speaker 1: might have to go live and do that.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we might have to stream live and in can't
- 6:51Speaker 2: as welcome back, thank you, No, we don't.
- 6:53Speaker 1: He doesn't need pads.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah, he means if anything, he's gonna hurt himself just
- 6:57Speaker 2: trying to tie him. I'm just I'm glad you're back, Candace.
- 7:02Speaker 2: We got money to give away today. We got a
- 7:04Speaker 2: Disney vacation. Oh yeah, chance at that at six point forty.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Dirty Little Secret coming up. But got just here alone
- 7:10Speaker 2: yesterday with Pooh. You know what I felt like? I
- 7:13Speaker 2: felt like A.
- 7:19Speaker 1: That's what I felt like. I'm sorry, but you know
- 7:22Speaker 1: what I am A What is Tesas Top Stories on
- 7:28Speaker 1: the Tents with Billy the Kid in the morning only.
- 7:30Speaker 5: On the New Mixed one or two point nine?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Have I ever told you how awesome you are? Cannas
- 7:35Speaker 1: Love Boys.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yes, this time yesterday, Candace, you were in Nashville sleeping
- 7:41Speaker 2: who was doing Texas top stories? And I wanted to
- 7:43Speaker 2: yeep myself out.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Of the window.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I wanted I wanted to swan dive out of this window.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Let's see if I could fly off over Dix in
- 7:51Speaker 2: a way. But you're back, So what's going on, Candas?
- 7:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, Plano gave the go ahead to AT and
- 7:58Speaker 3: t's two and eighty foot any Reunion tower. AT and
- 8:01Speaker 3: T announced back in January they were leaving downtown Dallas
- 8:05Speaker 3: and relocating to Plano. This new campus will be at
- 8:07Speaker 3: Legacy and Parkwood Boulevards. So we heard about this a
- 8:11Speaker 3: couple of months ago, but it wasn't quite approved. So
- 8:15Speaker 3: this tower won't be able to flash a strobe or
- 8:17Speaker 3: do other lighting effects between ten pm and six am.
- 8:20Speaker 4: That's part of the code. This still has to be
- 8:23Speaker 4: approved by the FAA.
- 8:25Speaker 3: But this tower will also be a real antenna, so
- 8:28Speaker 3: it's gonna have that tech hidden into it, which requires
- 8:30Speaker 3: it to.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Also have special zoning. But that's pretty cool for the
- 8:33Speaker 4: campus of AT and T. Out there is going to
- 8:36Speaker 4: take forever to build or no, probably, so yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yeah, by twenty seventy we'll see it.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll keep you posted on that, But that's a
- 8:45Speaker 3: big deal for that major campus in Plano to have
- 8:47Speaker 3: this giant tower.
- 8:49Speaker 4: This is exciting news.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Guys.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Target is rolling out a fleet of reimagined shopping carts
- 8:54Speaker 3: and they're doing this nationwide. These new plastic carts have
- 8:58Speaker 3: what Target says is smoother maneuverability and ergonomic handles, more
- 9:03Speaker 3: basket space, and larger cup holders.
- 9:05Speaker 4: This is where we're at in life, guys.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You know what I like it. You know I love
- 9:08Speaker 2: a good list. Should we go over the top ten
- 9:10Speaker 2: shopping carts? Okay, I will tell you number ten.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Is best or wonkiest.
- 9:15Speaker 2: We're going one is the best, Ten is the wonkiest. Okay,
- 9:19Speaker 2: that's gotta be Ten is Walmart. Oh yeah, it is unhinged.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I had one lock up on me in the middle
- 9:24Speaker 2: of the Aisle nine on Friday and it locked up.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, definitely happens to me when I
- 9:31Speaker 3: try to park too far and take it too far
- 9:33Speaker 3: out of the radius where they think I'm stealing it.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's the worst.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but I will say Target already has good ones.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:41Speaker 2: So the fact that they're stepping up their game, Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 2: I'm cool. I'm putting them in the top three probably.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Anyway, Yeah, for sure. Definitely Home Depot or lows those cards.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Oh no, one doesn't touch.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, one's going one way, one's going the other. It's awful,
- 9:58Speaker 2: So absolutely, anyway, we'll stop with that.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Listen.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Note they've been working on these cards for six years now,
- 10:05Speaker 3: they say. But they're not going to show up in
- 10:06Speaker 3: stores all at once. This is going to be a
- 10:08Speaker 3: long process of rolling these out in the years ahead.
- 10:11Speaker 3: They say, So, why'd you get my.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Hopes up time?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Really?
- 10:15Speaker 4: Yeah, real quick, guys.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Miley Cyrus's mom, Tish, got people talking after her Walk
- 10:19Speaker 3: of Fame ceremony. So she got her star there in
- 10:21Speaker 3: Hollywood on Friday, and I guess while they were posing
- 10:25Speaker 3: for pictures, Tish was reportedly heard saying, we're gonna bring
- 10:28Speaker 3: the husband. So people think maybe that Miley and her
- 10:32Speaker 3: fiance Max have already gotten married. Oh they got engaged
- 10:36Speaker 3: last December if you remember that.
- 10:39Speaker 4: But yeah, right, everyone's like, why would she say that?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Well, sometimes people call each other hubs and wifey when
- 10:44Speaker 1: they're not, which is annoying.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Sometimes they do that, So maybe she's just doing that
- 10:49Speaker 1: or maybe she got secretly married or is she married
- 10:52Speaker 1: Miley's mom married. I don't even know the question.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I can't remember what happened after she and Billy Ray split.
- 10:57Speaker 6: I can't remember either she was aiding a dude from
- 10:59Speaker 6: a prison break all that Witworth Miller Wait, no, not Whitworth, No,
- 11:03Speaker 6: the other guy.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Who cares anyway, Ye it was. But anyways, so maybe
- 11:08Speaker 1: she is married secretly?
- 11:09Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 11:09Speaker 5: So?
- 11:10Speaker 3: I mean I haven't seen a lot of Miley recently
- 11:12Speaker 3: since yeah, you know, she kind of like started to
- 11:14Speaker 3: lay low after that last performance she did for what
- 11:17Speaker 3: was it the Grammys or I don't know what award shows?
- 11:19Speaker 4: So but yeah, I mean, good for her.
- 11:22Speaker 3: She deserves it, her and Liam and that whole thing.
- 11:24Speaker 3: You know, she deserves it happy endings.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But she's been with his Max guy for a while.
- 11:28Speaker 4: So yeah, yeah, so maybe congrats Miley.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Maybe congrats.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go. I'm Cana Slopez. Those are your
- 11:33Speaker 4: Texas Top Stories Mixed.
- 11:36Speaker 1: One or two point nine?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Good morning and Billy a kid, Canna slow Pez is here,
- 11:40Speaker 2: Producer poo is here. Oh god, he's skating back into
- 11:43Speaker 2: the studio right now.
- 11:43Speaker 4: He's holding on the wall.
- 11:44Speaker 2: He's holding on the he's wearing roller skates right now,
- 11:46Speaker 2: don't ask. This is the stuff we do around here.
- 11:49Speaker 2: It's a mess. Come on, pood, don't brak. He's not
- 11:51Speaker 2: you're not skating though, you're just walking. That's why I
- 11:53Speaker 2: don't want to do the video just yet, because you
- 11:55Speaker 2: haven't skate.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Are you sing the stoppers? What are those toast stoppers
- 11:59Speaker 4: or whatever?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Am I stop? What do you want? You're walking? You're
- 12:03Speaker 1: just waddling? Yeah, because do the wheels not work? Yeah?
- 12:06Speaker 1: They work? I just I just need to tie this
- 12:08Speaker 1: the right shoe. Oh, because you're literally walking, but you're
- 12:11Speaker 1: in skates. You're just they're rolling? Yeah, oh they are,
- 12:15Speaker 1: You're just not rolling.
- 12:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 6: I don't want to over exert myself until I tie
- 12:20Speaker 6: this right shoe.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do it. Yeah, you know you might need
- 12:29Speaker 1: to get in shape when tying your shoes will gas you.
- 12:33Speaker 1: All right, let's do it right now. Dan and Shae
- 12:35Speaker 1: to get up for grabs. Who's this guy? Hey? How
- 12:38Speaker 1: are you good?
- 12:41Speaker 7: Oh?
- 12:41Speaker 1: You're awesome? Guess what you're calling? Number one?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Congratulating? There you go, you got tickets? Go see Dan
- 12:48Speaker 2: and Shaye.
- 12:50Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Oh you're so welcome. What are you doing right now?
- 12:54Speaker 7: Going to work?
- 12:55Speaker 1: My husband's dropping me off. Oh nice, he's your uber today.
- 12:59Speaker 1: That's fine. Oh good and great, Vint, Well, thank you
- 13:03Speaker 1: for listening. We appreciate that. I'm gonna hook up with
- 13:04Speaker 1: these tickets and have a great day work. We do
- 13:07Speaker 1: appreciate it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Thank you a nice husband. Give him a five star
- 13:11Speaker 2: rating right there. Okay, let's do a reeler fake news.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I got three headlines. Gonna tell me which one is fake?
- 13:15Speaker 2: Because the news is absolutely wild and it gets crazier
- 13:18Speaker 2: by the day. Let's go first story, three headlines, tell
- 13:21Speaker 2: me which one is fake?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Headline number one.
- 13:23Speaker 2: The latest workout trend taking over New York City is
- 13:28Speaker 2: chess boxing.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Chess boxing chess boxing.
- 13:33Speaker 2: The latest working out trend taking over New York City
- 13:36Speaker 2: is chess boxing.
- 13:38Speaker 1: That is headline number one. Headline number two.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Husband discovers wife's gluten analogy for seven years was a
- 13:44Speaker 2: lie to avoid his mother's spaghetti. A husband discovers wife

- 13:54Speaker 1: To avoid his mother's spaghetti. All right, headline number three.

- 14:20Speaker 1: Kids just want to go first? You want to pass
- 14:21Speaker 1: it to Sonic girl?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Pooh wow, he looks like he looks like a Sonic

- 14:43Speaker 3: that second story, the gluten analogy.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Okay, you think that's fake? Yeah, really, I think that's
- 14:48Speaker 2: something a lot of people would do. You've never faked
- 14:51Speaker 2: analogy or something like see to get out of something?
- 14:53Speaker 4: No, I haven't. But that's a good idea.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Because you are, you're gluten free.
- 14:58Speaker 4: No, I'm not glued.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Everyone thinks I'm gluten for and then I don't eat meat.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I like vegetables and beans and stuff, but no, I
- 15:04Speaker 3: eat everything but dairy.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I've known you for twenty years. I thought you were
- 15:07Speaker 1: gluten free.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I thought you were.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Gluten free too.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I know, Zan bought me cookies last year for my
- 15:12Speaker 3: birthday that were gluten free. She thought that, and then
- 15:14Speaker 3: she realized after the fact had felt really bad.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well I didn't know that.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Did y'all buy me gluten free stuff?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't have to.
- 15:22Speaker 4: All right, I love gluten.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You're locked in? You locked in right there?
- 15:27Speaker 6: Right?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Producer pooh, yeah, on skates right now? Which one do
- 15:30Speaker 2: you think is the fake story?
- 15:31Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with that last story, the man stranded
- 15:33Speaker 6: in mud for over a week.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Okay, I think that's fake in Florida. You don't think
- 15:37Speaker 1: that's a real thing. No, lock me in, all right,
- 15:39Speaker 1: let's lock that in. It is locked in.
- 15:42Speaker 2: And the winner today is, by no surprise, Candice slow Paz.
- 15:49Speaker 5: There you go.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Welcome back to you one. Yeah, you win every time almost,
- 15:53Speaker 1: so come on, it's all good.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go over some of these stories. So some
- 15:57Speaker 2: of the stories that are real. The fake story was
- 15:59Speaker 2: the gluten allergy and his mom spaghetti.
- 16:02Speaker 1: But if you've done that, please eight three three seven
- 16:04Speaker 1: eight seven one two nine. I want to hear about it.
- 16:06Speaker 2: A missing man in Florida was found over a week later,
- 16:09Speaker 2: trapped in shoulder deep mud. Florida is wild to me,
- 16:12Speaker 2: and this is oddly a weird fear for.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Me, getting suck in mud.
- 16:16Speaker 1: No quicksand but close quicksand yeah, Florida.
- 16:20Speaker 2: No, I'm telling you, I'm freaked out about quicksand really, like,
- 16:24Speaker 2: have you ever seen quicksand?
- 16:25Speaker 3: Well, yeah, but I don't think I've ever come in
- 16:27Speaker 3: contact with it where I thought I would actually be in.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It, right, I'm very nervous about that.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Really, I don't know.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I have a weird random phobia is quicksand. Either way,
- 16:37Speaker 2: This guy man in Florida who had been missing, I
- 16:39Speaker 2: mean for like a while, like over a week they
- 16:42Speaker 2: couldn't find, discovered him trapped in a mud up to
- 16:44Speaker 2: his shoulders. Thirty six year old guy named Andrew Giddens.
- 16:46Speaker 2: He was found after some officers spotted his abandoned car.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I guess they started looking for him and they saw
- 16:52Speaker 2: him in this pit, shoulder deep. He was going days,
- 16:57Speaker 2: days without food, days without water. There was unstable ground
- 17:02Speaker 2: that sucked him in. You see what I'm saying. You
- 17:04Speaker 2: imagine if you're just yeah, because Florida's all swampy. Yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you know, I don't know if there's swampy areas around here.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I think there is, especially when you get to East Texas.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Yeah. Probably.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I feel like I've almost been sucked in a quick
- 17:15Speaker 1: sand in Lake Louisville. I feel like I have no
- 17:19Speaker 1: or maybe I was just drinking too much and fell.
- 17:22Speaker 1: But thank god he's okay.
- 17:24Speaker 2: They had to rescue him and he was in critical condition,
- 17:26Speaker 2: but now he's good and stabilized. But he went for
- 17:28Speaker 2: days without food, just trapped in mud, shoulder deep. Worst
- 17:32Speaker 2: nightmare right there? Latest workout trend. This is happening in
- 17:36Speaker 2: New York City. This is headline number one. Chess boxing.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Chess boxing. So well, I guess some gym started and
- 17:44Speaker 2: now it's taken over where they're running chess boxing events.
- 17:48Speaker 2: They combined speed chess with live boxing and sparring. You
- 17:53Speaker 2: don't have to have any experience, they say, if you
- 17:55Speaker 2: know how to play chess, that's great. There's also ninety
- 17:57Speaker 2: minute classes that makes high intense cardio, technical ring work
- 18:01Speaker 2: and strategic chess training.
- 18:03Speaker 1: What so you do?
- 18:05Speaker 2: I guess eleven rounds total, six rounds of chess, then
- 18:08Speaker 2: you box five rounds. This sounds like a nightmare to me.
- 18:14Speaker 2: So it's combining two things. We're you're using mental chess
- 18:18Speaker 2: and boxing physical and you just go back and forth.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Weird.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I don't know how to play chess because I feel
- 18:23Speaker 2: like it's just too smart. I'm more of a checkers.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Guy, you know what I mean.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But yeah, so what think about that?
- 18:30Speaker 2: That's a good sport though, right there, I guess should
- 18:33Speaker 2: we should Poo and I chess box?
- 18:35Speaker 4: Sure?
- 18:36Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Maybe we should do something more low class, like for us,
- 18:42Speaker 2: like a game that's more mentally okay for us?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Like what game do we know how to play? Like
- 18:46Speaker 1: War the Car?
- 18:49Speaker 3: Or like go fish go fish boxing?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Yeah, go fish boxing. Is anybody down to watch Poo
- 18:58Speaker 2: and I roller Scape?
- 19:01Speaker 4: Yes?
- 19:03Speaker 1: I think that would be fun. Oh yeah, okay, So
- 19:06Speaker 1: jiu jitsu and all that I'm not that's okay. Jiu
- 19:09Speaker 1: jitsu is not boxing.
- 19:11Speaker 6: All your little takedowns. Every time we smarred here, I
- 19:14Speaker 6: ended up getting choked out. So Cannas is like sounds
- 19:20Speaker 6: like a concerned mother Billy watches vocal courts.
- 19:23Speaker 1: We watch.
- 19:24Speaker 2: This is why Cantas can't be gone. No, Candace legitimately
- 19:28Speaker 2: can't be gone because we lose our minds.
- 19:31Speaker 1: We don't get anything done. We fight like two brothers.
- 19:36Speaker 1: There was papers everywhere.
- 19:38Speaker 4: My headphones were on plug my chair was over there.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because we got a fight. Yeah, we started
- 19:43Speaker 1: rough housing the chair. We started rough houses.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Grandparents would say, I'll stop rough No rough houses, all right.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Cannas had quite the adventure over the weekend. You were gone.
- 19:55Speaker 2: You went to the Indy five hundred, right, which was awesome,
- 19:57Speaker 2: but then you tease us with little celebrity things.
- 20:00Speaker 1: What happened?
- 20:01Speaker 4: I mean I was so starstroke. I mean I saw
- 20:04Speaker 4: multiple celebrities. This was a pig profile race, but there
- 20:07Speaker 4: was one. I took out my camera and zoomed in.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Weigh in really like all the way in.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I zoom Okay, can we talk about this next. I'm
- 20:15Speaker 1: excited to be aiby a kid.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Candis Lopez producer poo, welcome back, Candie Lopez.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 20:21Speaker 2: She was stuck, well stuck in a couple of different
- 20:23Speaker 2: cities because it was a fiasco over the weekend. You're
- 20:26Speaker 2: just trying to enjoy your son, Anzo's birthday. We're gonna
- 20:28Speaker 2: do all this stuff for him, which was great, Yeah, awesome.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He was so surprised to go to the Indy five hundred, right,
- 20:33Speaker 2: but then you got to get back in town Sunday.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You're trying to get back it was a mess, flight canceled.
- 20:39Speaker 2: But while you were at the Indy five hundred you
- 20:41Speaker 2: had a good time.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I did, Yeah, and thanks to IndyCar for having us
- 20:46Speaker 3: use their suite. They're literally right at the start finish line.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I mean these cars are going like over two hundred
- 20:51Speaker 3: and thirty.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Miles per hour.
- 20:52Speaker 4: It was awesome.
- 20:53Speaker 1: So it's a toll way.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it was absolutely incredible, like such a cool experience.
- 20:58Speaker 3: And I'm in there, you know, and they've turned this
- 21:01Speaker 3: place into a green room for some of the celebrities
- 21:03Speaker 3: that were being hosted there. So Jordan Sparks was there.
- 21:05Speaker 3: She's saying the national anthem, so she was using the suite.
- 21:08Speaker 4: I saw Caitlyn Clark.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Wow, talk about somebody who looks in real life like they.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Look on TV and social media. Caitlyn Clark on hundred
- 21:15Speaker 4: percent looks just the same.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Good.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Yeah, really cool to see her in person. Enzo was
- 21:19Speaker 3: kind of in awe of her.
- 21:21Speaker 4: But the moment astronaut Jeremy Hansen no walk through the
- 21:26Speaker 4: doors mesmerized.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You were so and so excited about space.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And I had just walked the track like I had
- 21:38Speaker 3: a track pass to go down where the race cars were.
- 21:40Speaker 4: I could see, you.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Know, pretty much all of the drivers, which I was
- 21:43Speaker 3: starstruck by them, but I've seen a lot of them before.
- 21:46Speaker 3: But this Canadian astronaut walks and he's in the full
- 21:49Speaker 3: blue suit that you always see him wearing.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Yes, percent, he had.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Weird flex come on, that would be mean, like that
- 21:56Speaker 2: would be like me walking around with headphones on, not
- 22:00Speaker 2: on the air.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Right, he's super tall. I had no idea how large
- 22:04Speaker 3: this man was to be compacted in that space capsule
- 22:07Speaker 3: for as long as he was.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Turning red right now.
- 22:10Speaker 4: No, not like that. This is not this is not
- 22:14Speaker 4: like a romantic you know, crush vibe. This is sure
- 22:17Speaker 4: holy crap. You went around the moon, okay, and right
- 22:21Speaker 4: in front of me.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Okay. So he was there just hanging out in his
- 22:24Speaker 1: astronaut uniform, in.
- 22:26Speaker 4: That blue suit whatever that blue suit is that they were.
- 22:28Speaker 4: It's not like a space suit, but you know you've
- 22:29Speaker 4: seen it on social media.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Uniforms every time they do press or interviews and things.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they wear that official what is he.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Doing in that that wasn't a little bit of an
- 22:38Speaker 1: ick to you? No, not at all, a girl check
- 22:41Speaker 1: me out. Yeah, oh yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I don't know if you know me, but I went
- 22:44Speaker 2: to space and back. I went around the moon while
- 22:48Speaker 2: you're in Indianapolis. Oh wow, are you Yeah, that's why
- 22:52Speaker 2: i just came from the Space Center. That's why I'm
- 22:54Speaker 2: wearing this suit.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I just happen to have it on.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I mean, artist too, is like the biggest thing of
- 22:59Speaker 4: the year.
- 23:01Speaker 1: True. No, you're right legitimate. I thought you were. I
- 23:04Speaker 1: gotta be honest though.
- 23:06Speaker 2: From from I thought you were gonna be like dude,
- 23:08Speaker 2: George Clooney walked in, Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian came in.
- 23:14Speaker 1: No, no, no, the astronaut.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Astronaut people were flocking around him. There was a crowd
- 23:25Speaker 4: around him.
- 23:26Speaker 3: They had to finally say, okay, guys, like this is
- 23:28Speaker 3: a safe space for them because people were taking pictures.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And really, this.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Big TikToker that we met there, I can't even think
- 23:33Speaker 3: of his name. Having a brain fart, my husband was
- 23:35Speaker 3: talking cars to him or whatever. Just whips out his
- 23:38Speaker 3: camera and starts interviewing the guy and he's answering all
- 23:40Speaker 3: the questions talking about the helicopter.
- 23:42Speaker 1: That came and did you get to meet him?
- 23:44Speaker 4: I did not get to meet him.
- 23:46Speaker 3: There was I mean, there was security around this man
- 23:49Speaker 3: like you would not believe.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Like he was the president because there's some people there.
- 23:54Speaker 2: And I saw a video and now that I know
- 23:55Speaker 2: what you're talking about, Yeah, there's some video going around.
- 23:58Speaker 2: It might have happened there where somebody goes and basically goes,
- 24:01Speaker 2: you didn't go to space and starts.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yelling at yeah. I started yelling at oh, you can
- 24:06Speaker 1: wear your uniform, doesn't mean you went anywhere. We didn't
- 24:09Speaker 1: go to the moon.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Well, at one point, he like reached down to his
- 24:13Speaker 3: foot and there was a little zipper by his shoe
- 24:15Speaker 3: and there's like a little pocket down there, and he
- 24:18Speaker 3: pulled something out of it and handed it to someone
- 24:20Speaker 3: and I couldn't tell what it was, but I'm like,
- 24:22Speaker 3: what is going on in that pocket?
- 24:24Speaker 1: No, I know what it was. I saw that on
- 24:25Speaker 1: TMC too. What it was a moon rock? Yes he did.
- 24:29Speaker 4: He didn't land on the moon. He went around.
- 24:31Speaker 1: No he did. He didn't want to tell anybody, but
- 24:34Speaker 1: he told me, what's up? Girl. Take this while they
- 24:39Speaker 1: were asleep. I took a separate shuttle down to the Moon.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I met up later. What about you and me? This rock?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Was it a girl he gave it to?
- 24:50Speaker 3: No, it was one of the team owners or something
- 24:53Speaker 3: like that.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right, you know what. I'm impressed though,
- 24:56Speaker 2: it's still pretty cool.
- 24:58Speaker 4: It was amazing.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I was literally frozen and shot like this guy went
- 25:03Speaker 3: to the moon.
- 25:04Speaker 2: But there was all these other celebrities there and they
- 25:06Speaker 2: weren't even paying attention. Then they were all going to
- 25:08Speaker 2: the astronaut.
- 25:08Speaker 4: I mean, people were.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Giving Caitlin Clark looks and you know whatever. She had
- 25:12Speaker 3: a little private room that she was in that no
- 25:14Speaker 3: one was allowed into. And at this point he was
- 25:16Speaker 3: just hanging out where all the food was, you know,
- 25:18Speaker 3: getting ready for the race to start, and you know,
- 25:20Speaker 3: people were coming up to him with their It was
- 25:23Speaker 3: very cool.
- 25:24Speaker 1: It is cool. I can't believe you didn't go up
- 25:25Speaker 1: to me at least try to talk to him.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I tried, but there were so many people. And then
- 25:29Speaker 3: the final they were finally like.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Okay, guys, we gotta like it up. Yeah, that's true.
- 25:33Speaker 2: You got to get in there first of all, start
- 25:35Speaker 2: doing what what I would do if I was there
- 25:37Speaker 2: a poo would do you use your kids?
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 25:40Speaker 3: Well we were ready, but Inzo was like kind of
- 25:42Speaker 3: nervous because there was like police everywhere.
- 25:44Speaker 2: About to No, that's when you pinch in Ze'll make
- 25:46Speaker 2: them cry. And you're like, my kid is crying over here.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Just want to make you crying. And so we're getting
- 25:55Speaker 2: a damn Moon.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Rock Tough stories on the Billy the Kid in the
- 26:01Speaker 8: Morning only on the new Mix one.
- 26:04Speaker 5: O two nine.
- 26:04Speaker 2: So you ready, we have a dirty Little Secret coming
- 26:06Speaker 2: up at seven point thirty and another shot at this
- 26:09Speaker 2: Disney World vacation summer send off on us. Let's do
- 26:13Speaker 2: that at seven forty. We do it on the forties
- 26:15Speaker 2: every hour. Cannaslow Test. Thank god you're back. You can
- 26:17Speaker 2: give us our Texas Top stories. Now what's going on?
- 26:19Speaker 3: Yeah, well, another major staple at Galleria Dallas is leaving
- 26:23Speaker 3: the mall.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Tiffany and Co. Will close their store at the end
- 26:27Speaker 4: of the month. Yes, wow, I know this makes me
- 26:30Speaker 4: really sad.
- 26:31Speaker 3: This is according to a sign telling customers you know
- 26:34Speaker 3: about their other locations in the Metroplex, but that store
- 26:37Speaker 3: will permanently close at six pm on May thirty first. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 3: remember Nordstrom announced earlier this year they would also be leaving, uh,
- 26:46Speaker 3: the Galleria, but they have had some major additions there
- 26:50Speaker 3: of course, Netflix House last year. They also just announced
- 26:53Speaker 3: plans to renovate the center court area around the ice rink.
- 26:57Speaker 4: So yeah, this changes.
- 26:59Speaker 2: That's what I don't get though, because like they're saying,
- 27:01Speaker 2: malls are coming back. Yeah, you know, they're like malls
- 27:03Speaker 2: are back. All the kids are going to the malls.
- 27:05Speaker 2: You know, it's like a whole trend again. And then
- 27:08Speaker 2: stores are closing. But like in this economy, who's going
- 27:11Speaker 2: to Tiffany's non stuff?
- 27:12Speaker 5: Right?
- 27:12Speaker 4: Well, that's the thing I'm wondering. Is it a gallery
- 27:14Speaker 4: of problem or is it a Tiffany and Co? Problem?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Because it sounds like a Tiffany and Co.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Problem. Love the Galleria?
- 27:18Speaker 4: Oh I do too.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It's my favorite mall. Yeah mine too. Do we want
- 27:22Speaker 1: a list of malls or what number one? Number one
- 27:28Speaker 1: would be obviously for you Town East.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean I have the most in the
- 27:32Speaker 3: Parks Mall in Arrington. Those two I have the most
- 27:34Speaker 3: like fond memories of back in the day to day.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah, the Parks Mallow Sync was there, Yeah, sin was.
- 27:40Speaker 3: There and so we like waited outside all night to
- 27:42Speaker 3: know them.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But Cans. That was in the nineteen hundreds.
- 27:45Speaker 5: I know.
- 27:47Speaker 4: That was my prime mall time.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Okay, fine, all right, we'll let you.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Tunis shout out. All right, townys, sorry about seers, All right?
- 27:55Speaker 1: What about Vista Ridge? Where's that ring.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Pass Irving mall? The other day?
- 28:02Speaker 1: What about Colin Creek?
- 28:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you were rich if you went there.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, yeah. What about Redbird?
- 28:10Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I have some experience there, lived to Duncan Villain.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Let's keep it real.
- 28:16Speaker 6: Red Bird aka Blackbird.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Guys.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Three men wanted for burglaries targeting the homes of pro
- 28:28Speaker 3: athletes have now been arrested. Two of the suspects were
- 28:31Speaker 3: taken into custody in Argentina after a burglary there. But
- 28:34Speaker 3: this apparently was a South American theft group. Do you
- 28:37Speaker 3: remember these break ins too? Patrick mahomes home, Travis Kelcey's,
- 28:41Speaker 3: Luca's house. Some of these happened as far back as
- 28:44Speaker 3: twenty twenty four. But they were targeting these athletes, knowing
- 28:47Speaker 3: their schedule when they were out of town playing games,
- 28:50Speaker 3: so they would break in.
- 28:51Speaker 4: But the FBI estimates around two.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Million dollars and valuables were taken, so jewelry, everything from cash.
- 28:58Speaker 4: And other luxury items. Uh yeah, so we'll see what
- 29:01Speaker 4: happens with that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:03Speaker 3: There's also a new trend used to know about with
- 29:05Speaker 3: gen Z called many retirements.
- 29:07Speaker 4: So this is basically like.
- 29:10Speaker 3: A gap year like you would see for people graduating
- 29:12Speaker 3: high school before they either start college or full time work,
- 29:15Speaker 3: like an intentional break.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Gen Z would be what age gen Z is like.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Right after millennials, So a little younger than us.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Okay, so us as in you, Yeah, okay, because I'm Jamis,
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm gen X. I'm one year off from being an
- 29:29Speaker 1: elder millennial. You know what I'm gonna start saying, I'm
- 29:31Speaker 1: an elder millennial.
- 29:32Speaker 4: So gen Z is ninety seven to twenty twelve.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Okay, so oh yeah so pretty young.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty young.
- 29:38Speaker 1: So how can they take a mini retirement?
- 29:40Speaker 3: Well yeah, so this is for burned out gen Z
- 29:43Speaker 3: or's millennials. Millennials are taking these two to help with burnout.
- 29:48Speaker 3: But there's a financial expert saying, you know, everyone can
- 29:51Speaker 3: do this if you plan. So, if you start shipping
- 29:53Speaker 3: cuts to your daily lifestyle to boost your savings.
- 29:56Speaker 1: You're good, sure financial expert.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so cut you're trying to getting to.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Work five dollars a gallon gas? Yeah, don't get look
- 30:03Speaker 1: at boom or Pooh getting mad over here.
- 30:06Speaker 2: A boomer many retirement. He's never retired. Definitely, not a
- 30:11Speaker 2: mini retirement.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, you gotta be privileged to be taking
- 30:14Speaker 3: a mini retirement.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Starm beer, But that's insane.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I've been working since I was like twelve, and I'm
- 30:18Speaker 2: not even joking at carshes, just at jobs everywhere. I
- 30:22Speaker 2: never had time to take a mini retirement. Yeah, he
- 30:26Speaker 2: had to be nice, But how are you gonna survive?
- 30:28Speaker 4: No, I know, I mean I get it. People are
- 30:29Speaker 4: burned out. We're all burned.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Out on high high prices for literally everything and the workloads.
- 30:34Speaker 1: But yeah, I would love a mini retirement.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Well, don't do it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: No, I'm not gonna do it. I can't afford to
- 30:40Speaker 1: do it. I mean, seriously, we've got kids, we got kids,
- 30:44Speaker 1: kid going into college soon before you know, my kid's
- 30:46Speaker 1: going to high school being college.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I'm never retiring. I'm gonna be in this chair when
- 30:50Speaker 2: I'm just passed out. You're just gonna have to weekend
- 30:54Speaker 2: it burnies me.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, just bring me here and prop me
- 30:57Speaker 1: up and just play recording.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Putting in there, gen z there, Okay, I'm Candas Lopez.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Those are your Texas top stories.
- 31:04Speaker 5: Put it off to promise you'll feel better.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Yes it's makes one or two point nine and baible
- 31:11Speaker 2: a kid, Candas Loan Pez producer Pooh is here. Yes,
- 31:14Speaker 2: summer send off. We're gonna send you to Disney World
- 31:17Speaker 2: vacation on us. So many chances to win this. We'll
- 31:19Speaker 2: do it coming up next and we do it on
- 31:21Speaker 2: the forties pretty much all day. I mean we're talking
- 31:24Speaker 2: this trip is legit.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Oh yeah, legit.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So let's get you in also too. We got Cannas
- 31:30Speaker 1: Court on the way.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Candas is back Billy's Court yesterday went okay, yeah yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 2: but I realized why you took it over. You did, yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 2: because we were Poo and I were just unhinged. The
- 31:40Speaker 2: core is it's like more like kangaroo court. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 2: it makes no sense, just out of control. So arguing, yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 2: just arguing us yelling at each other. And then that's
- 31:49Speaker 2: why your chair is all messed up because Pooh pushed
- 31:52Speaker 2: me and then I pushed him back into the wall.
- 31:53Speaker 1: That makes sense, Yeah, yeah to it. So we got
- 31:56Speaker 1: a little we were rough housing eight three three seven
- 31:59Speaker 1: eight seven one two.
- 32:00Speaker 2: If you have a secret, anytime you want, this is
- 32:02Speaker 2: what it's all about. Dirty little secret. You tell us
- 32:04Speaker 2: eight three three seven eight seven one h two nine,
- 32:07Speaker 2: confess what you got going on?
- 32:09Speaker 1: You got one? What's up?
- 32:11Speaker 2: So?
- 32:11Speaker 7: I have a secret that literally nobody in my life
- 32:14Speaker 7: talks about at this point, Like my family knows to
- 32:18Speaker 7: not bring it up because they know it just makes
- 32:21Speaker 7: me super emotional. And now I'm engaged and I'm so happy.
- 32:25Speaker 7: I love my fiance and we're planning this beautiful wedding.
- 32:30Speaker 7: And the problem is he has no idea that I
- 32:35Speaker 7: was married before.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Oh you were okay, so you were married before. You're
- 32:40Speaker 2: so you're engaged to him, so you're about to be married,
- 32:43Speaker 2: but he doesn't know you were ever ever married before
- 32:45Speaker 2: at all.
- 32:45Speaker 7: Yeah. I never told him. And before everybody starts freaking out,
- 32:49Speaker 7: just I know, it's insane, but it's complicated. I got
- 32:55Speaker 7: married right out of high school to my high school sweetheart,
- 32:58Speaker 7: and I was totally in love with him, and shortly
- 33:02Speaker 7: after we got married, he his addiction got worse and worse,
- 33:07Speaker 7: and I tried everything. I tried rehab, I tried helping
- 33:11Speaker 7: him get jobs. I just stayed up all night worrying,
- 33:14Speaker 7: crying and begging him, trying to, you know, save him
- 33:17Speaker 7: from himself.
- 33:19Speaker 4: And I just I couldn't.
- 33:21Speaker 7: I realized eventually that I couldn't save him because he
- 33:25Speaker 7: didn't want to save himself.
- 33:27Speaker 1: You know, so is he did he pass or was
- 33:31Speaker 1: he still alive?
- 33:32Speaker 7: No, he's still alive. We just haven't talked in years.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Okay, so for a minute it sounded like you might
- 33:38Speaker 1: have passed away.
- 33:40Speaker 4: You just really couldn't save himself from the addiction, right.
- 33:42Speaker 1: So you had to choose yourself and walk away.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 7: We ended up getting divorced because I just couldn't deal
- 33:49Speaker 7: with it anymore. And the worst part of all this,
- 33:53Speaker 7: the part that nobody knows, not anyone in my family
- 33:56Speaker 7: or anybody else, is deep down I really believe that
- 34:00Speaker 7: he'll always be my one true love, the love of
- 34:04Speaker 7: my life.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I just you really so well.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I mean, you obviously love your fiance now, but deep
- 34:10Speaker 2: down inside you feel like he was your true or
- 34:14Speaker 2: is your true love?
- 34:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, not who he is now, not who
- 34:19Speaker 7: he became, but who he used to be, that version
- 34:22Speaker 7: of him that's gone now that I've had to accept
- 34:25Speaker 7: that's gone, Like that person is the love of my life.
- 34:29Speaker 7: And it feels like I've had to grieve someone dying
- 34:32Speaker 7: even though he's still alive and he's I don't know,
- 34:36Speaker 7: he just he struggles so badly with addiction. And I
- 34:40Speaker 7: still keep in touch with his mom. So it's something
- 34:43Speaker 7: that like my fiance has no idea about, of course.
- 34:46Speaker 2: But and I get that you feel like the person
- 34:50Speaker 2: that you were in love with is kind of dead
- 34:51Speaker 2: in no way, yeah, is kind of you are kind
- 34:54Speaker 2: of grieving really because that person that you fell in
- 34:56Speaker 2: love with doesn't exist right now. We had one of
- 35:00Speaker 2: these not too long agore the remember do you remember
- 35:02Speaker 2: the one the guy called up where his ex got sober.
- 35:05Speaker 8: Right and wanted him back back into the light her
- 35:08Speaker 8: life or whatever, and they ended up getting together and
- 35:11Speaker 8: they're still together, right he dumped the girl that he
- 35:14Speaker 8: was with.
- 35:14Speaker 2: It was a similar situation where this guy, his ex
- 35:18Speaker 2: was an alcoholic. She calls him up one day he's
- 35:21Speaker 2: already living with another woman and she's like, listen, I'm sober,
- 35:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry, he ends up dumping his girlfriend that he
- 35:28Speaker 2: was living with.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I mean, this all happened with God, yeah, kind of messy.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but he left right away and went remember we
- 35:36Speaker 2: had him on the air, Yeah, and proposed to her.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Do you think about that at all? What if he
- 35:43Speaker 4: were different today? I do, But I.
- 35:46Speaker 7: Just he's nowhere close to even making those changes.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I'm telling you, though, Let's say he does, because this
- 35:51Speaker 2: is the same thing this guy said. Let's say this
- 35:53Speaker 2: guy figures out his life and he sobers up and
- 35:56Speaker 2: you're engaged, you're not married yet. He calls you and
- 35:58Speaker 2: he says, I'm so sorry. I am the person that
- 36:02Speaker 2: you know you fell in love with. I was sick,
- 36:04Speaker 2: I'm healthy again, and I want you back.
- 36:08Speaker 1: What happens then, I don't know.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Wow.
- 36:12Speaker 7: I love my fiance, but I and I envision a
- 36:16Speaker 7: future with him. But sure, the problem is I've always
- 36:20Speaker 7: envisioned a future with you know, my high school sweetheart.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Hey, I don't think you should get married. I don't know.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I mean, that's like.
- 36:28Speaker 2: You cannot stop your life though because of an X
- 36:31Speaker 2: who has an addiction.
- 36:32Speaker 4: No, but you have to leave it in the past.
- 36:34Speaker 1: You have to that.
- 36:36Speaker 5: I don't know that I.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Could even talk to his mom if I felt that way.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I don't know that I could be in contact.
- 36:40Speaker 2: If you have a string attached to Yeah, you have
- 36:42Speaker 2: strings attached and it's almost like you have to break
- 36:45Speaker 2: all the strings in order to move on. Yeah, if
- 36:47Speaker 2: you're really going to move on, that's just my thought.
- 36:49Speaker 2: But I don't know. I feel for you because my
- 36:52Speaker 2: heart breaks for you that you do feel like this
- 36:54Speaker 2: was your one true love. But I think you can
- 36:56Speaker 2: genuinely have a one true love and still well someone
- 37:00Speaker 2: who you thought was your true love and still move on.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because sometimes you have to.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Well, fiance has no idea. That's the part that bothers me.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I know, but what is he supposed to know?
- 37:10Speaker 3: I don't know that you're struggle. You seem like you're
- 37:12Speaker 3: struggling with this.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think, if anything, you should be
- 37:15Speaker 2: honest with him about being married before, because I feel
- 37:17Speaker 2: like that will come out at some point. Yeah, but
- 37:20Speaker 2: I'm kind of focused on the fact that I don't
- 37:22Speaker 2: know if you should be even marrying this guy if
- 37:24Speaker 2: you haven't moved on completely. Yeah, please let us know
- 37:27Speaker 2: what happens. Good luck, and I'm sorry you're going through this.
- 37:29Speaker 2: And it's not like I'm saying I don't believe that
- 37:31Speaker 2: you love your fiance, because I do really believe that
- 37:33Speaker 2: you do.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Right, it's just a different kind of love.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I guess that's yeah, that's baggage. Really it is.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Good luck. Please let us know what happens.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Okay, thank you, all right.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I just don't believe like you think there's more than
- 37:48Speaker 1: one soulmate out there for you.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I think there's different versions, like your child is your soulmate,
- 37:53Speaker 3: your mom is your soulmate, your partner is your soulmate.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, so you think there's more than one truth
- 37:57Speaker 2: to see, that's I think there's more than one true love.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I don't think there's just one person out there for
- 38:01Speaker 2: you that's it. If you don't find that, or maybe
- 38:03Speaker 2: that is the case, and maybe that's why we're gonna
- 38:04Speaker 2: be single for I don't know.
- 38:09Speaker 5: All right, he's doing.
- 38:11Speaker 1: For Candis Court. It gets settled here with Billy the
- 38:15Speaker 1: Kid in the morning on Mix one or two point nine.
- 38:17Speaker 2: All rise for the honible Judge Cannae Lopez taking the bench.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Hey, Cannas Court, please hear my case.
- 38:22Speaker 2: I feel like I'm gonna sound silly, but I'm actually
- 38:24Speaker 2: really upset, and my husband thinks I'm completely overreacting. We've
- 38:28Speaker 2: been married for almost four years. Our relationship has been great.
- 38:31Speaker 2: We don't really argue. I've always been so attracted to him.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But here's the thing. I met him with a beard,
- 38:37Speaker 2: like a full beard. This was part of his look,
- 38:40Speaker 2: it was part of him. It's what made him and
- 38:42Speaker 2: I fell in love with that version of him. Now
- 38:44Speaker 2: he's about to turn forty.
- 38:46Speaker 1: We had his big birthday party plan and then out
- 38:48Speaker 1: of nowhere, he shaved his beard.
- 38:51Speaker 3: No.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I didn't even recognize him at first, and honestly shocked me,
- 38:55Speaker 2: and not in a good way. So I asked him
- 38:57Speaker 2: why he would do that right before his birthday party,
- 38:59Speaker 2: and he just said he wanted a change.
- 39:02Speaker 1: That's it.
- 39:02Speaker 2: No heads up, nothing, So I told him it bothered me.
- 39:06Speaker 2: He got defensive and said, it's my body. That's a
- 39:11Speaker 2: little extra.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Ah.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I don't need to ask permission to shave my own face.
- 39:16Speaker 2: And I get that, but we're married. I feel like
- 39:17Speaker 2: when you're in a relationship, especially in marriage, you at
- 39:20Speaker 2: least consider your partner before making a big change in
- 39:23Speaker 2: your whole appearance. Now the party's coming up, and all
- 39:25Speaker 2: I can think is, this isn't the man I was
- 39:27Speaker 2: excited to celebrate.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Wait what oh's?
- 39:31Speaker 2: And that makes me feel awful. I don't want to
- 39:33Speaker 2: hurt his feelings, but I also feel like mine were
- 39:35Speaker 2: completely ignored.
- 39:37Speaker 1: All right, can't just help?
- 39:38Speaker 2: This is an interesting situation because I mean, wow, it's
- 39:42Speaker 2: his beard.
- 39:43Speaker 1: She's right your initial thoughts, So how do you feel?
- 39:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:45Speaker 3: I mean you don't need to ask permission, but a
- 39:48Speaker 3: heads up would be nice. Like I would never cut
- 39:50Speaker 3: my hair and then not give Erica heads up, or
- 39:53Speaker 3: like ask how he thinks, or you know.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Say something about it. Yeah, even I'm considering it, I
- 39:59Speaker 4: would bring it up.
- 40:00Speaker 2: You wouldn't ask him for his permission, no, but you
- 40:03Speaker 2: would be like, hey, I'm thinking about doing Ella Langley bangs.
- 40:05Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 40:06Speaker 4: Right? Why? I mean, it shouldn't it's going to be
- 40:09Speaker 4: the one staring at me. I'm not looking in the
- 40:10Speaker 4: mirror all the time.
- 40:12Speaker 5: You know.
- 40:13Speaker 6: That's a good point. I think this wife is tripping.
- 40:15Speaker 6: I mean, it is his body. He shouldn't have to
- 40:18Speaker 6: give her a heads up. Hey, I wanted to ask
- 40:21Speaker 6: for your consideration. Can I shave off my beard.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Let me ask you.
- 40:25Speaker 2: In the fantasy world, you're in a relationship, yeah, right,
- 40:28Speaker 2: and you're dating somebody and she cuts her hair completely
- 40:33Speaker 2: off and dyes it purple, and it surprises you.
- 40:37Speaker 1: You're not like, that's.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Kind of tripping because you know, first of all, I
- 40:40Speaker 6: like short hair, so she does sha.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Yes, let's say this.
- 40:46Speaker 2: She she comes home one day and she's got someone
- 40:48Speaker 2: else's hair. She's got about three strands of horse hair on,
- 40:52Speaker 2: she's got extensions, and she's she looks like a different person.
- 40:56Speaker 1: She's got long hair, now long hair down to her.
- 41:00Speaker 1: What do you think? Then, No, I don't. I don't care.
- 41:02Speaker 6: You don't have to ask me. That's even like what
- 41:05Speaker 6: about an outfit. I don't expect you to ask me
- 41:08Speaker 6: permission for what you can wear, So I don't care
- 41:10Speaker 6: what you do with your hair.
- 41:11Speaker 3: PERI heads up are different, Like, I don't think she's
- 41:14Speaker 3: mad because he didn't ask.
- 41:17Speaker 4: But it's blind side.
- 41:19Speaker 2: It's not controlling the weird. If you say, hey, I'm
- 41:20Speaker 2: thinking about shaving my beard and your wife goes, oh no,
- 41:23Speaker 2: but I love your beard, honey, don't shave it, then
- 41:27Speaker 2: I'm thinking to myself, well, I'm not going to shave
- 41:29Speaker 2: it because, like you said, if it's not bothering me
- 41:31Speaker 2: bothering she likes it, I mean, yeah, I want to
- 41:33Speaker 2: stay attractive to my girlfriend and my wife. If she
- 41:37Speaker 2: loves it, it's then I'll probably hesitate not do it.
- 41:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 41:40Speaker 4: We're still excited to celebrate this person though. That part's
- 41:43Speaker 4: the part for me.
- 41:43Speaker 3: It stings a little bit something about this was the
- 41:46Speaker 3: man or not the man.
- 41:47Speaker 4: I was excited to celebrate. She's less hairy.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but but some guys do need beards, so I'm serious.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Yeah, some people shave and I'm like, oh, you gotta
- 42:02Speaker 1: grow that back.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta grow that back because their jawline is
- 42:07Speaker 2: not there.
- 42:08Speaker 1: They don't have a chin, like they got an underbite.
- 42:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Yeah, there's breakouts that you couldn't see. It's a different face.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Some guys keep some guys listen, if you can grow
- 42:19Speaker 2: that beer, keep that beer, keep it.
- 42:21Speaker 4: And she likes it. Yeah, and clearly she did.
- 42:24Speaker 1: She got beard fish and fish his birthday. He's turned
- 42:28Speaker 1: in forty or whatever. It's a whole new era.
- 42:30Speaker 3: He's trying to Yeah, I mean to chalk it up
- 42:33Speaker 3: to a midlife crisis.
- 42:35Speaker 7: That's what it is.
- 42:36Speaker 4: It's going to grow back.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I know, all right, Well I agree with you, Candis.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Heads up would have been nice. Yeah, but it doesn't
- 42:45Speaker 2: matter what we think. It's all about what you think.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Canna Slopez. Do we have a verdict?
- 42:48Speaker 5: We do?
- 42:48Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy's guilty being a sideburn Steve. I think
- 42:54Speaker 3: that she handled her right, No, because I don't know
- 43:01Speaker 3: what kind of beard this situation here. But I have
- 43:04Speaker 3: a feeling maybe.
- 43:05Speaker 4: He left some sideburns.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Maybe he did like a weird like oh you shave
- 43:12Speaker 3: situation where he's got a curly mustache now, or like
- 43:15Speaker 3: a sideburns only maybe he left a soul pas.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Yes, maybe there's some creepy flavor saver. Oh, I'm guilty
- 43:24Speaker 1: of being grossed for that. I apologize. He is guilty
- 43:27Speaker 1: of being a side Steve. Top stories on the Tents
- 43:32Speaker 1: with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Rainy out right now, we start off with it like
- 43:39Speaker 2: perfect the sunrise, and now, look, Candice, it's kind of
- 43:42Speaker 2: gross out chance of rain throughout the morning, they're saying,
- 43:45Speaker 2: and maybe even later on the same thing tomorrow the
- 43:48Speaker 2: next day and the next day for the next week
- 43:50Speaker 2: or something. I don't know if we're gonna l Nino
- 43:52Speaker 2: over us or something like that. Right, I don't know
- 43:54Speaker 2: what's going on.
- 43:55Speaker 4: Kid, I've been in this one weekend.
- 43:56Speaker 1: It's been raining, I know it.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Yeah, very weird start to summer, spring or whatever it is, right,
- 44:02Speaker 2: what's going on?
- 44:03Speaker 3: Well, Plano gave the go ahead to AT and t's
- 44:05Speaker 3: idea to build a two hundred and eighty foot what
- 44:08Speaker 3: they're being called it's being called a mini Reunion tower.
- 44:11Speaker 3: So AT and T announced back in January they were
- 44:14Speaker 3: leaving downtown Dallas and relocating to Plano. This new campus
- 44:18Speaker 3: will be at Legacy and Parkwood Boulevard. But this tower,
- 44:21Speaker 3: they're saying, we'll have some restrictions so it won't be
- 44:24Speaker 3: able to flash a strobe or do other.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Lighting effects between ten pm and six am.
- 44:29Speaker 3: This still has to be approved by the FAA. But
- 44:32Speaker 3: this tower will also serve as a real antenna, which
- 44:35Speaker 3: makes sense. It's AT and T, but that tech is
- 44:38Speaker 3: going to be hidden into it. So if you've seen
- 44:40Speaker 3: any renderings of it, it's a two hundred and eighty
- 44:42Speaker 3: foot tower in the top like the Ball Reunion Tower.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Ball looks like the AT and T logo.
- 44:47Speaker 1: That's kind of cool. Yeah, I can't remember though. You
- 44:49Speaker 1: told me how high is two hundred and eighty feet?
- 44:51Speaker 1: It's how many stories?
- 44:52Speaker 3: Oh gosh, now I have to remember. Let me look
- 44:55Speaker 3: it up.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Should already have this Ready's.
- 45:00Speaker 3: We talked about this when the first twenty to twenty
- 45:05Speaker 3: two stories.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that's huge.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna be really big.
- 45:09Speaker 3: I mean you'll be able to see it for a while,
- 45:10Speaker 3: and who knows what kind of like lighting effects.
- 45:12Speaker 4: They're gonna have on it. It'll be pretty cool. So
- 45:15Speaker 4: I'll keep you posted.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Okay, cool, Yeah, and listen to this guy's. Target is
- 45:19Speaker 3: rolling out a fleet of reimagined shopping carts nationwide.
- 45:23Speaker 4: These new plastic.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Carts will have what Target says is a smoother maneuverability
- 45:28Speaker 3: and ergonomic handles, more basket space, and larger cup holders.
- 45:33Speaker 4: These are called the Series three APC. I have no
- 45:36Speaker 4: clue what that means.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Just where we're at in life, we're getting excited about
- 45:39Speaker 2: shopping carts.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Yeah, well, they've been working on these carts for six years.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Why it took so long? I have no idea.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Okay, I mean they already have pretty nice carts. Yeah,
- 45:50Speaker 2: can't they just make a car that we can all
- 45:52Speaker 2: drive around?
- 45:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that'd be nice, but you know, we'd
- 45:55Speaker 3: be running into each other, you know, crushing ankles and
- 45:58Speaker 3: doing the whole thing.
- 45:59Speaker 1: And I guess any of my step, So yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 4: You definitely need your steps.
- 46:03Speaker 3: They say they also have a deeper, more secure child
- 46:06Speaker 3: seat and a more modern design, but they're not going
- 46:08Speaker 3: to be in stores immediately. They're kind of kind of
- 46:10Speaker 3: roll these out in the years ahead.
- 46:12Speaker 4: So that's the butmer part of it.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I didn't see a guy, a grown man in the
- 46:16Speaker 2: cart with his girlfriend pushing him around at Walmart the
- 46:18Speaker 2: other day.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Oh wow, like a grown man sitting in the cart. Okay.
- 46:22Speaker 2: I don't know if it was some kind of like
- 46:24Speaker 2: weird fetish thing or what was going on, but he
- 46:27Speaker 2: looked very serious. It's not like they were goofing around
- 46:29Speaker 2: and he was just riding around in the cart and
- 46:30Speaker 2: she was pushing.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Him and he was on his phone. Okay, and yeah, wow,
- 46:34Speaker 1: a grown man.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Maybe he was working, Maybe he was sending emails doing
- 46:41Speaker 3: some business.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I don't want to go I don't want to go
- 46:43Speaker 1: to Target Bay. Just push me around. That if you're
- 46:45Speaker 1: going to be there, just push me around. I like that.
- 46:48Speaker 3: I kind of like it too, real quick, guys, bad
- 46:51Speaker 3: money will be heard.
- 46:52Speaker 4: In Toy Story five.
- 46:53Speaker 3: He's going to voice a forgotten toy known as the
- 46:56Speaker 3: Pizza with Sunglasses. He's described as the f effortlessly cool
- 47:01Speaker 3: and a serious character who is part of a small
- 47:03Speaker 3: but mighty community of forgotten toys. I guess they live
- 47:06Speaker 3: in an abandoned backyard at shed. They just released the
- 47:10Speaker 3: final trailer for Toy Story five yesterday.
- 47:12Speaker 4: But that movie's gonna be out June nineteenth. Hard to believe.
- 47:16Speaker 4: The first one came out in nineteen ninety five.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Yeah, is that the movie where the toys come alive?
- 47:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 47:23Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, buzz here you've seen that. No, I have
- 47:27Speaker 1: not your joke. I've never seen Toy Story what not
- 47:30Speaker 1: one of them. Never watched y Ryder did, but then.
- 47:33Speaker 4: I would just the one is coming out.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Sit there, watch it. I guess I should watch it.
- 47:37Speaker 4: Well, you'll cry.
- 47:38Speaker 1: It's with the light Year guy. Yea luck? Okay, cool,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I'll check it out, all right, I'll start Kanaslopez.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Those are the chop stories on next one of two
- 47:47Speaker 4: point nine.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Start with one somebody.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Over the weekend try to turn on my TV at
- 47:51Speaker 2: my house and they were like, does this work? And
- 47:53Speaker 2: I was like, I haven't turned the TV on in months.
- 47:56Speaker 2: They're like, what do you do? I'm like, I don't know.
- 47:58Speaker 2: They were like, you're kind of chotic that. I'm like,
- 48:01Speaker 2: when's the last time you've turned on your TV?
- 48:03Speaker 1: Doesn't it watched last night?
- 48:04Speaker 4: I watched the Rangers game.
- 48:06Speaker 1: All right, Well that's a hot tage.
- 48:09Speaker 5: Let us know what you think. Here's today's hot.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Take on Mixed one on two point nine.
- 48:13Speaker 2: By the way, you want to go to Disney Disney
- 48:15Speaker 2: World on us a vacation summer send off. We do
- 48:17Speaker 2: it on the forties every hour pretty much all day,
- 48:20Speaker 2: so we'll do that. Coming up next, it's Bailey to
- 48:22Speaker 2: Kid Candislow pez producer Pooh. Let me ask you this
- 48:24Speaker 2: for hot take of the day because I want to
- 48:26Speaker 2: know where you fall. Candas where you fall Pooh. Somebody
- 48:28Speaker 2: asked this online. I thought, oh, what an interesting poll.
- 48:32Speaker 2: One of the few that I vote for so I
- 48:33Speaker 2: can see the results. Somebody said, do you agree or
- 48:36Speaker 2: disagree with the idea that the spark eventually fades in
- 48:41Speaker 2: all relationships? Whoa do you agree or disagree with the
- 48:45Speaker 2: idea that the spark eventually fades in all relationships?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Candislow Pez, where do you fall?
- 48:51Speaker 4: Yeah? I think it does? You do?
- 48:53Speaker 5: Well?
- 48:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 48:54Speaker 3: Well, I think when you're first in a relationship, the
- 48:56Speaker 3: spark is burning. It's burning all the time, right right,
- 48:59Speaker 3: and then eventually it starts to fade.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Out and then it sparks in you know, spurts.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, I agree with that.
- 49:06Speaker 2: So you're saying it doesn't go away forever, but you've
- 49:09Speaker 2: got to maintain it, and you probably.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Have to light the spark, relight it. However many times
- 49:14Speaker 3: you have to do that.
- 49:15Speaker 1: I agree with you.
- 49:16Speaker 2: So you would say, yes, it fades, but not forever,
- 49:20Speaker 2: right exactly go away, but it does fade. I think
- 49:23Speaker 2: that's pretty natural. Okay, yeah, Producer Poop, where do you?
- 49:26Speaker 2: Where do you fall in that?
- 49:27Speaker 6: I don't think it fades unless somebody in the relationship.
- 49:30Speaker 6: I think it's they're the reason it might fade. But
- 49:33Speaker 6: I think I would think the spark is going throughout
- 49:35Speaker 6: the relationship.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Y'all like it. You've been in a relationship, Yeah, did
- 49:39Speaker 1: this spark maintain? No? Because she we're single? Well? Yeah,
- 49:43Speaker 1: because yeah, because her spark faded, oh faded for good?
- 49:47Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it faded her spark for I didn't stop
- 49:50Speaker 6: liking her, you know.
- 49:52Speaker 1: You know, I'll even say it sad. Oh here you goes. Yeah,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you know, you were in love and she broke up
- 49:59Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, she not me. So you know, are
- 50:01Speaker 1: you talking about the last girl? You're talking about? Which one?
- 50:04Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 50:04Speaker 1: The last girl? Oh? Okay, so her spark faded? Yeah? Yeah?
- 50:08Speaker 1: Does she need a space?
- 50:09Speaker 2: But I genuinely think sometimes it's because it's the guy's
- 50:13Speaker 2: responsibility to keep that spark alive by himself, well, not necessarily,
- 50:20Speaker 2: not necessarily by himself, but I think he leads in
- 50:23Speaker 2: the relationship. I think he should be the one to
- 50:27Speaker 2: majority of the time, it's his responsibility to keep the
- 50:30Speaker 2: spark alive.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Okay, I feel like we both would have to have
- 50:35Speaker 3: a play in this, like sure, but I agree with
- 50:37Speaker 3: you that that I like for a man to lead
- 50:40Speaker 3: those things.
- 50:40Speaker 2: See, and I'm not saying that's the case for every relationship,
- 50:42Speaker 2: but I like it that way. Like if personally, and
- 50:45Speaker 2: some people say, oh, that's so old school, I would
- 50:47Speaker 2: rather be the person that leads and kind of that
- 50:51Speaker 2: in the relationship I'd rather be, but I don't. By
- 50:53Speaker 2: the way, and I'm not like, I don't know from
- 50:55Speaker 2: nineteen ten saying this. It's not that I don't think
- 50:58Speaker 2: women can. I think women can be obviously independent, strong, amazing,
- 51:04Speaker 2: do their own thing. Yeah, do whatever they want to do,
- 51:07Speaker 2: but still in the relationship have.
- 51:09Speaker 1: The man lead.
- 51:10Speaker 4: Yeah. I just think we have to take turns and relighting.
- 51:12Speaker 4: The spark I don't fades.
- 51:14Speaker 3: It doesn't mean it dies, just you just have other
- 51:16Speaker 3: priorities in your life that are sparking you.
- 51:19Speaker 4: It's like when you get a new car and you're like,
- 51:20Speaker 4: we're not gonna eat or drink in this car.
- 51:23Speaker 3: You knows on the mat, and then you know, two
- 51:26Speaker 3: months later, you're like spilling drinks. There's fries in the
- 51:29Speaker 3: crevices of the car, you know.
- 51:30Speaker 5: What I mean.
- 51:31Speaker 2: And I think relationships are a lot like when you
- 51:33Speaker 2: buy a used car and you're no, I'm serious a
- 51:36Speaker 2: used car. Well, I'm saying used because you're looking at
- 51:38Speaker 2: it and you're like, no, this I like this because
- 51:40Speaker 2: we're all used at this point.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we're used and abused.
- 51:46Speaker 2: So you're looking at no, you want expired, so you're
- 51:52Speaker 2: looking at that car, and you're like, okay, and you
- 51:54Speaker 2: don't see the scratches, you don't see the little dings
- 51:56Speaker 2: because you're just mesmerized by overall I want this car.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Right then when you get at home, you're like, oh, well,
- 52:01Speaker 2: I didn't notice this scratch, right.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Yeah, there's gonna be a hair on the floor around
- 52:05Speaker 3: the house. You're yeah, you're gonna find my hair ties
- 52:07Speaker 3: in weird places. And maybe I'm not the most organized
- 52:11Speaker 3: you thought I was in the beginning. But I mean,
- 52:13Speaker 3: the spark is still, the flame is there, but is
- 52:16Speaker 3: it sparking like it used to?
- 52:17Speaker 4: I have to reignite it.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this poop because you don't
- 52:20Speaker 2: agree with me on this and this is a weird
- 52:22Speaker 2: thing for me because you don't think it's the man's
- 52:25Speaker 2: responsibility to lead.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Now, I'm not saying you can.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Never have the woman in the relationship have the spark
- 52:31Speaker 2: and do things that are sweet.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I think that's absolutely the case.
- 52:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but I.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Would almost think it's like eighty twenty. It's eighty percent
- 52:39Speaker 2: the man's responsibility to keep that spark alive.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just being honest. How about fifty to fifty? No,
- 52:45Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 52:45Speaker 8: It's nowadays is even hard anyway, all these girls want
- 52:50Speaker 8: to be alpha CARDI b got these girls wanting to
- 52:53Speaker 8: run the relationship, but now they want to be an
- 52:55Speaker 8: alpha and you got to sit back.
- 52:57Speaker 2: But I think someone with that, No, I think someone
- 52:59Speaker 2: can do. You don't do anything to keep the spark
- 53:01Speaker 2: in relationship and not do But I'm saying she should too.
- 53:04Speaker 2: But see that's the problem. I think so many guys
- 53:07Speaker 2: getting together. No, I think so many men think this
- 53:10Speaker 2: way and then they wait, and then you're not on
- 53:12Speaker 2: the same page. Then she's in the same position, going well,
- 53:15Speaker 2: I'm waiting for him to do something. Then you're both
- 53:17Speaker 2: playing the waiting game and no one's doing anything to
- 53:19Speaker 2: keep the spark alive. Okay, but the where if you
- 53:22Speaker 2: take the initiative, I think it's like, oh wow, then
- 53:24Speaker 2: she wants to reciprocate. Then she's because I mean, maybe
- 53:28Speaker 2: I think this, but I don't. I think in the
- 53:31Speaker 2: case where if I'm in a relationship, I like to
- 53:33Speaker 2: be the leader because I think it sets the tone.
- 53:37Speaker 2: And women are run by emotion, right, I mean that's
- 53:40Speaker 2: just the case. If you're in a bad mood and
- 53:43Speaker 2: things are weird, the spark's not alive, let's say in
- 53:45Speaker 2: the bedroom. It's usually because it's an emotional thing and
- 53:47Speaker 2: not a physical thing with the women, So you have
- 53:49Speaker 2: to do things.
- 53:50Speaker 1: To light that spark.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:52Speaker 3: I mean, like when it's like I feel like it's
- 53:55Speaker 3: my turner, I am motivated to like plan a date
- 53:58Speaker 3: night and plan the surprises and all of the things
- 54:01Speaker 3: to like, you know, the spark or keep the spark going.
- 54:04Speaker 2: But if Eric never did that, you would never want
- 54:05Speaker 2: to do it right exactly. So sometimes if he takes
- 54:08Speaker 2: the lead, you naturally want to keep going and doing.
- 54:10Speaker 2: That's just yeah, it's my opinion. Pooh's you gonna wait
- 54:13Speaker 2: on the woman to do send him flowers?
- 54:14Speaker 1: No, I just like communication.
- 54:16Speaker 6: If you communicating a bit in the beginning, then you
- 54:19Speaker 6: shouldn't have this problem. Like y'all both should be able
- 54:22Speaker 6: to do things for each other. I do think that
- 54:24Speaker 6: that spark going. It's not about to me. It's not
- 54:27Speaker 6: about trying to lead the relationship.
- 54:29Speaker 1: You don't want to be in a relationship where you're
- 54:30Speaker 1: the lead. Like you lead. I mean, she has just
- 54:33Speaker 1: as much say something, but that's not lead without being controlling.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I feel like it's a relay like we passed the baton,
- 54:40Speaker 3: like when you're strong and I'm weak, I pass it
- 54:42Speaker 3: to you, and you carried and you take the lead,
- 54:44Speaker 3: you know, and then when times where it's my turn,
- 54:46Speaker 3: I take the baton and run.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 54:49Speaker 2: I agree with that, but I'm saying you don't have
- 54:51Speaker 2: to be Sometimes I think people think that leading is controlling.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I don't think it's controlling. I think and everybody has
- 54:57Speaker 1: a different want as far as relationship, hard.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Beat, this isn't the girl for you?
- 55:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, shocker.
- 55:03Speaker 6: The alpha girls made Like the last few girls I've dated,
- 55:07Speaker 6: I have tried to be the alpha and be the
- 55:09Speaker 6: the I guess the main I'm like, I.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Think that's because you weren't I am. Maybe you weren't
- 55:15Speaker 2: doing it and so they were like I got to
- 55:17Speaker 2: step up. I guess I'm gonna have to. No, that's
- 55:19Speaker 2: not it.
- 55:20Speaker 6: They just wanted to take control. They they've been they
- 55:22Speaker 6: they weren't even healed yet before they started. That's that's
- 55:26Speaker 6: another thing that I had to deal with, Like some
- 55:28Speaker 6: of the.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's obviously wasn't you. Yeah it wasn't me. I'm perfect, Yeah,
- 55:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 55:34Speaker 2: But serious question do you miss her? No, it's a
- 55:37Speaker 2: morning billy kid. Cannaslow passed pretty sure, pre is here.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Cannas is back. That's why I feel like it's a Monday,
- 55:42Speaker 2: even though it's not a Monday. It's a Wednesday. But
- 55:44Speaker 2: we're coming off a long holiday weekend. You were stuck
- 55:47Speaker 2: h in Nashville, so you're finally back. But I think
- 55:50Speaker 2: one thing we all had in common over the weekend,
- 55:53Speaker 2: which we were just talking about, and I said, oh,
- 55:54Speaker 2: we got to talk about this on the air, because
- 55:56Speaker 2: I think this happens to a lot of people.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Weird uber rides.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Oh boy, well, you say I was stuck in Nashville
- 56:02Speaker 3: after I was stuck in Indianapolis, right after.
- 56:04Speaker 2: You were stuck there. You got stuck in Nashville trying
- 56:06Speaker 2: to catch a flight there after you drove there. You
- 56:08Speaker 2: didn't uber from Indianapolis to Nashville.
- 56:10Speaker 3: No, but I ubered from the airport in Indianapolis down
- 56:13Speaker 3: to a cabin where my husband and my son were
- 56:16Speaker 3: going to camp for the night, which was almost two hours.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Two hours I was in the uber with Kevin, the
- 56:22Speaker 3: nicest guy, and two hours.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Yeah, so that was Kevin. No, you weren't.
- 56:31Speaker 2: That's the I've never now I heard of somebody taken
- 56:34Speaker 2: an uber from here to Austine.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Well, oh yeah, I forgot. How much was that?
- 56:41Speaker 6: Uh like one oh five or something like that.
- 56:44Speaker 1: That's it.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it'd be more than that. So anyway, sorry, Cannon.
- 56:49Speaker 2: So you were in there with Vin, Yeah, I.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Was in there and he was like, I mean, we
- 56:54Speaker 4: had to talk for a while.
- 56:55Speaker 3: The sweetest guy in the world. But I wasn't planning
- 56:58Speaker 3: to talk this whole time. But he was pretty much
- 57:00Speaker 3: telling me his like strategy for like kind of rolling
- 57:04Speaker 3: his passengers up. So he said, the worst thing you
- 57:06Speaker 3: can say to him when you get in the car
- 57:08Speaker 3: and he asks, you know, what do you want to
- 57:09Speaker 3: listen to? The worst thing is anything is fine. If
- 57:13Speaker 3: you're just chill and you don't care, anything's fine.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I mean that's what I say usually.
- 57:17Speaker 4: Yeah I do too. Well, he has a playlist called
- 57:19Speaker 4: anything is Fine, and.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Then he turns on and he'll play like, you know,
- 57:24Speaker 3: something really religious to get you going, or something really
- 57:27Speaker 3: like hardcore wrap to get you going.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he actually what did he play for you?
- 57:32Speaker 3: Well, he decided we were talking about, you know, whatever,
- 57:35Speaker 3: our lives or whatever.
- 57:36Speaker 4: And I told me. I host a radio show. My
- 57:38Speaker 4: co host are in Dallas right now, La Dada.
- 57:41Speaker 3: And he's like, oh, plays a bit for me from
- 57:43Speaker 3: a morning show that he listened to back in the day,
- 57:45Speaker 3: and then goes off on YouTube and plays an entire
- 57:48Speaker 3: comedy show.
- 57:50Speaker 4: I don't even remember who this guy was. The whole thing.
- 57:54Speaker 3: He was pausing it to give me commentary in between.
- 57:57Speaker 1: This is so weird that you would take it to
- 57:59Speaker 1: our uber.
- 58:00Speaker 3: I had to because I didn't want to ruin Enzo's
- 58:02Speaker 3: camping experience and make them drive.
- 58:04Speaker 4: When you're in two hours to get me.
- 58:05Speaker 1: When you're in an uber for two hours, do you
- 58:07Speaker 1: stop at BUCkies? No?
- 58:10Speaker 3: No, I was like, please don't stop stop to use
- 58:12Speaker 3: the bathroom. No, I don't because I always have snacks.
- 58:18Speaker 2: That is so weird. Yeah, yeah, no, I had an
- 58:20Speaker 2: uber one time. But what I usually asked what I
- 58:22Speaker 2: usually say. If they say with the music situation, what
- 58:25Speaker 2: I usually say is play me your favorite song.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Oh that's good, and they're like.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, and then they get real excited.
- 58:32Speaker 2: And sometimes if they're from like, you know, another country,
- 58:34Speaker 2: they'll even say, well, I'm not from here, and I said,
- 58:36Speaker 2: I don't care. Yeah, I want to hear your favorite song,
- 58:38Speaker 2: And I for sure found some really good stuff. But
- 58:40Speaker 2: I had one guy one time that he would say,
- 58:43Speaker 2: if somebody says I.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Don't care, like, hey, what do you want to hear?
- 58:46Speaker 8: Oh?
- 58:46Speaker 1: I don't care, he would play this non stop. That's awesome,
- 58:53Speaker 1: said he would play it on a repeat.
- 58:55Speaker 3: He told me that he judges you based on your profile, picture,
- 58:59Speaker 3: your and then when he sees you standing there, he
- 59:02Speaker 3: kind of go ahead and goes ahead and judges you
- 59:04Speaker 3: and figures out like maybe what you will like, what
- 59:07Speaker 3: you won't like, and then he decides, do I want to.
- 59:09Speaker 4: Play what I think that will like?
- 59:10Speaker 1: That's funny?
- 59:11Speaker 4: What will set them off?
- 59:12Speaker 1: All right? So? Yeah, now who had a weird uber
- 59:14Speaker 1: ride too? What happened here this weekend? Yeah?
- 59:16Speaker 6: I was going to meet my sister and her friend
- 59:17Speaker 6: at Legacy West. So I got an uber from Saxy
- 59:21Speaker 6: and this guy he pulled up, whipped up in a
- 59:23Speaker 6: little uh Nissan something and I was like, okay, cool.
- 59:28Speaker 1: I got in. First of all, can you please give
- 59:31Speaker 1: me a C I'm a big dude. You know I
- 59:33Speaker 1: need AC? I did, I asked him?
- 59:36Speaker 6: He was like, oh, buddy, my my AC doesn't work.
- 59:38Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, it doesn't work, doesn't work.
- 59:41Speaker 6: It's it was going out. Oh come on.
- 59:43Speaker 1: I was like, okay, you know what, I'll be cool
- 59:45Speaker 1: or whatever. I can't crack the window.
- 59:47Speaker 6: Because you're right, if you don't have it's lightly raining,
- 59:51Speaker 6: So I can't crack the window.
- 59:53Speaker 1: So we take off.
- 59:55Speaker 6: As soon as we got on George Bush, it was
- 59:57Speaker 6: like indy five hundred. This dude was robin and weaving
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: and he was going at least eighty five and I
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: was like, hey you okay heau Yeah, buddy, I'm gonna
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: get you there. Just sit back and relax.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: He want some water and I was like no, I'm good.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: He had water, but I was like just bobbing and weaving.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: Got got all the way over here on George Buds.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: You know you had to take that turn to go north.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, to it. He took that curb. I swear
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: doing like seventy I told it stole down before.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: I wish I would have sped up. Kid Kevin was.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I was stomping my feet because I was like, I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: got nervous, and I pulled up my.
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: Sister and them were waiting out front, and he pulled
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: he whipped it in there, and.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: She goes, golly, how fast was he going? I was like,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: too fast.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you you got to be careful. And you
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: know what because not only did the drive crazy. And
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I love our uber drivers, yeah, I love him too.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: But let me tell you something though. I was leaving
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: the Byron on Sunday Byron Nelson, which I can't believe
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I went to because I know nothing about golf, but
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: I heard that Mambo taxis there. Yeah, and they did
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: for twenty three dollars a pop. Anyway, there's a new
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: going around. When you leave a place a's packed like that,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: there's drivers that are sitting out there and you'll be like, no, no, no,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: don't request it.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I'll just take you right right. So then I'm like, uh,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: how much you know, because I don't trust anything.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Well, the guy changed the price, so he said originally, oh,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I'll do it for forty I swear. We got to
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: the car, he was like, all right, that's eighty. I
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: said no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You said it was forty dollars. She said no, I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: said eighty.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I said, you know what, I'm giving you forty and
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: I'm getting out of the car, I don't know what
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: else to tell you, and.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: He was like, are you kidding me?
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: I know everyone in the car started arguing. They're all
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: like no, no, no, no, no. Oh that's a scam
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: that's happened almost twice. So I'll never do it again.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: No, never do it again. I'm getting in with Key
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Kevin and we're listening to comedy and stopping at Buffy's
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's the Kid.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: In the Morning only on the new Mix. One two
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: point nine out.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Of Johnny, who's an Uber driver who just called us
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: and said, who got an Uber with no AC? Probably
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: because his rating is super low. Oh, you know they
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: can rate you. The drivers can rate the passengers too. Yeah,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: so I don't know.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Rating is hot. Shout out to Johnny. He said one
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: star Poo needs to step his game, all right, can'na Slowpez?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Another major staple at Galeria Dallas is leaving them all.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Tiffany and Co.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Will close their door their doors at the end of
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: this month. This is according to a sign telling customers
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: about their other locations in the Metroplex, but the store
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: will permanently close at six pm on May thirty first.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: That kind of makes me sad. And I don't even
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: go in there.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but just seeing it just good. Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: I don't think I've nancy I have one in there
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: before because I did buy something one time, I think.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: But yeah, it's one of those places you're like, it
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: just belongs there. We don't go there all the time,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: but I mean, who's going to Tiffany all the time?
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: You can barely get there with gas.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: Maybe I went in there in the early two thousands,
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: but that would have been the.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Last time you got one of those heart braces and bracelets. Yep,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: they were hot back in the day.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Yeah, so one time I went in there actually yeah, no,
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: but and those weren't They were expensive, but they weren't
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: like crazy.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Experience, right, Yeah.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I mean what else is closing in the gallery? Is it?
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Norths From going away?
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Cost from Yea announced earlier this year they're also leaving,
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: but the Galeria has also had some major additions. Of course,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Netflix House opened last year. They also just announced plans
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: to renovate the center court area around the ice rink.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: They're going to do they change the ice rink.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: I think, just like the restaurants. I mean it's kind
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: of bear down there. Miko's there, but like that's all
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: I need. Well, yeah, but we could, you know, spice
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: it up a little bit.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Give me a couple of Mambo Taxis and some ice skates. Yeah, no,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: bad combo, awesome combo.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Antie ANNs down there, No, po were always going up
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: to the third floor.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Wow him and Anti Ann's right, it's convenient. How does
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: this guy eat all those tacos that we have had
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: that day we were there. I have two Mambo taxis,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: chips and salsa, and then had a bag of Antie Ann's.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Would you have the two hundred tack? It was like
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: a popcorn book.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: It was full. It was like a grocery bag.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: But anyway, yeah, guys, three men wanted for burglaries targeting
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: the homes of pro athletes have now been arrested. Two
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: of the suspects were taken into custody and Argentina after
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: a burglary there that led them to the third suspect.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: But this was apparently a South American theft group. But
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: these are the guys that broke into Patrick mahomes house,
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Travis Kelce's, Luca's home, that's right. Some of these happened
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: as far back as twenty twenty four. But they were
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: targeting these athletes because they would look at their schedule
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: and be like, oh, they're playing out of town, they're
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: you know, vulnerable, so they would break in while they
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: were gone. But the FBI estimates around two million dollars
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: in valuables were taken jewelry, cash, other luxury items.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: So I wonder if they'll recover any of that.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Yeah, right, that stuff's long gone sold, probably.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: But you never know.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: There might be some like, you know, memorabilia that they
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: kept hung onto who knows, but yeah.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Maybe I just can't believe these celebrities don't have any
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: security when they.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: Leave, right, how do you break into all of those homes?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Like you have multi million dollar homes, yeah, double digit
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: million dollar homes and you don't even have what I
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: mean adt Right, you don't got an alarm, you're not
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: on a.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Motion line or at least ten dogs?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Ye are something? You just weird every time they get in,
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: No problem, Yeah it's weird.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Yeah, real quick, guys. There's a new trend with gen Z.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: It's called many retirements. So this is kind of like
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: a gap year, like you know people.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Used to do back in the day.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Maybe they still do graduating you know, high school before
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: you start college, or taking an intentional break before starting
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: work full time.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: So this is for burned out gen Zers or millennials.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: So gen z is from ninety seven to twenty twelve. Yes,
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: I think, so that's that age range.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: They need a break already, they're burned out. Yeah, I
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: got news for you. Just wait. It don't get any easier.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: Oh no, But I can't tell.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: If, like because when we were like graduating high school
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: and figuring out like our lives right then, we didn't
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: have social media to august down the emails and texts
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: like we had.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: I'm just saying it is like a lot more input
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: than we had. Yeah, quicker, I know.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: But there's also a lot of advantages to life. I
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: also didn't have chat GBT. I would have graduated college
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: in a week. So they have advantages. So there's things
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: that I know, there's a set of things in anxiety
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: that but really you need a mini retirement.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Yeah I never got here for that.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Well yeah, but can you who's taking many retirements? I
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: don't know who can afford to People can't.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Even retire, right, they're working. The lady I saw working
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: in Walmart, I don't even think she was alive. She
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: was at the door, just just laying there. She was
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: a greeter looking for receipts. I'm not even sure I
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: walked by her.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: She was sleeping. No, I'm not even kidding. Retirement barking
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the toll way.
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: No.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I almost like call nine one one, And then she
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: like breathed and got up, and I was like, oh,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and I just hurry up and left. But I was
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: like gonna hook poo up.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry, many retirement. That's a new trend, all right, Well,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: good for them.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Must be nice. I haven't heard. I mean, I can
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: sure take two weeks off, much less a many retirement.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I agree, I can't. Those are your Texas
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: soft stories.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Got a chance to go to disney World coming up next.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: But first, it is dirty Little Secret, Little.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Makes one or two point nine.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: It's Bible a kid, Candi slow pass, she's here, producer, pooh,
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: he's here.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: And then God, Candas is back. She was gone yesterday
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: and sorry, man, whoa.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: That?
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: If you were gone today? I was gonna call him sick.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Well it's not that bad.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: No, pooh, I love, I mean pooh. We've been friends
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: for twenty six years, we've worked together for twenty six years. Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: there's just certain.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Things people can do, and there's certain things people can't.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: Sure, okay, and that's for all things.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: He just does. You just do all the things he can't.
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: So that's what we learned yesterday. Dirty little secret. He
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: tried to do text his top stories, and it sounded
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: like two high tops and a dryer. Oh that's what
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: it sounded like right there. Sorry, he picked every story
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: about food and one story about Hooters.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: So, I mean, this kind of food.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: It's a niche audience. But I'm sure they wanted to know.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: As they had to say in the per corporate professional world,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: we had to pivot.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Yeah, if you got a secret eight three three seven
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: eight seven one o two nine, okay, dirty little secret,
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: whatever that is, just you know, confess to us, get
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: it off your chest.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: And you got one.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: Oh, I have a secret that literally nobody in my
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: life talks about at this point, Like my family knows
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: to not bring it up because they know it just
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: makes me super emotional. And now I'm engaged and I'm
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: so happy. I love my fiance and we're planning this
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: beautiful wedding.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: And the problem is he has no idea that I.
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: Was married before.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Oh you were okay, so you were married before.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: You're so you're engaged to him, so you're about to
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: be married, but he doesn't know you were ever ever
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: married before at all.
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: I never told him.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: And before everybody starts freaking out, just I know it's insane,
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: but it's complicated. I got married right out of high
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: school to my high school sweetheart, and I was totally
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: in love with him.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: And shortly after we got.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: Married, he his addiction got worse and worse. And I
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: tried everything. I tried rehab, I tried helping him get jobs.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: I just stayed up all night worrying, crying and begging him,
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: trying to, you know, save him from himself, and I
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: just I couldn't. I realized eventually that I couldn't save
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: him because he didn't want to save himself.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: You know, So is he did he pass or was
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: he still alive?
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: No, he's still alive.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: We just haven't talked in years. Okay, So for a
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: minute it sounded like you might have passed away.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: You just really couldn't save himself from the addiction, right, so.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: You had to choose yourself and walk away.
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: Yeah, we ended up getting divorced because I just couldn't
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: deal with it anymore. And the worst part of all this,
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: the part that nobody knows, not anyone in my family
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: or anybody else, is deep down I really believe that
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: he'll always be my one true love, oh, the love
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: of my life.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I just what you really so well.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: I mean, you obviously love your fiance now, but deep
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: down inside you feel like he was your true or
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: is your true love.
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean not who he is now, not only became,
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: but who he used to be. That version of him
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: that's gone now that I've had to accept that's gone,
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: Like that person is the love of my life. And
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: it feels like I've had to grieve someone dying, even
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: though he's still alive and he's I don't know, he
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: just he struggles so badly with addiction, and I still
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: keep in touch with his mom. So it's something that
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: like my fiance has no idea about, of.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Course, But and I get that you feel like the
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: person that you were in love with is kind of
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: dead in a way. Yeah, is kind of you are
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: kind of grieving really because that person that you fell
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: in love with doesn't exist right now. We had one
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: of these not too long agore the remember do you
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: remember the one the guy called up where his ex
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: got sober.
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: Right and wanted him back back into her life.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Or whatever, and they ended up getting together and they're
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: still together, right he dumped the girl that he was with.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: It was a similar situation where this guy, his ex
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: was an alcoholic. She calls him up one day. He's
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: already living with another woman and she's like, listen, I'm sober.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I'm sorry. He ends up dumping his girlfriend that he
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: was living with. I mean, this all happened with the day. Yeah,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: kind of messy, but he left right away and went
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: remember we had him on the yeah, and proposed to her.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Do you think about that at all? What if he
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: were different today?
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: I do, But I just he's nowhere close to even
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: making those changes.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: I'm telling you, though, Let's say he does, because this
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: is the same thing this guy said. Let's say this
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: guy figures out his life and he sobers up, and
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: you're engaged, you're not married yet. He calls you and
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: he says, I'm so sorry. I am the person that
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: you know you fell in love with. I was sick,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I'm healthy again, and I want you back. Yeah, what
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: happens then?
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: I love my fiance, but I and I envision a
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: future with him.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: But sure.
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: The problem is is I've always envisioned a future with you, know,
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: my high school sweetheart.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I don't think you should get married. I don't know.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: I mean that's feelings like you cannot stop your life
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: though because of an ex who has an addiction.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: No, but you have to leave it in the past.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You have to that.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I I don't know that I could even talk to
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: his mom if I felt that way. I don't know
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: that I could be in contact.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: If you have a string attached, Yeah, you have strings attached,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: and it's almost like you have to break all the
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: strings in order to move on.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're really going to move on, that's just
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: my thought. But I don't know.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I feel for you because my heart breaks for you
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: that you do feel like this was your one true love.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: But I think you can genuinely have a one true
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: love and still well someone who you thought was your
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: true love.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: And still move on. Yeah, because sometimes you have to.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Well, fiance has no idea. That's the part that bothers me.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I know, but what is he supposed to know?
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: I don't know that YOU'RERG. You seem like you're struggling
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: with this.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think, if anything, you should be
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: honest with him about being married before, because I feel
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: like that will come out at some point. Yeah, but
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I'm kind of focused on the fact that I don't
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: know if you should be even marrying this guy if
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: you haven't moved on completely. Yeah, please let us know
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: what happens. Good luck, And I'm sorry you're going through this.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: And it's not like I'm saying I don't believe that
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: you love your fiance, because I do really believe that
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: you do.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: It's just a different kind of love.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: I guess that's Yeah, it's baggage. Really, it is.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Good luck. Please let us know what happens. Okay, thank you?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Just going into marriage with lie? Yeah, it is bad
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: news for sure. You just got to go in with
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: a clean sligh. Did I sound like Shaggy right there? Yes?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: It makes one.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: On two point nine if Bility Kid candas slow Pants
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: producer poo, we're about to get out of here. I
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: remember Shaggy was one of my first interviews ever, and
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: I thought for sure that that's how he was gonna
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: sound right, And then when you talk to him, he
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: is just has zero accent whatsoever.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Was United States Marine? Just no accent whatsoever. And I
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: was so confused.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: I was like, thought it was going to be the
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: way he sings for sure, totally different though, good guy,
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: all right, we're out of here.
