- 0:02Do you ever get the feeling that silver and gold are living on
- 0:06borrowed time? And what I mean by that is that
- 0:09we are a fastly approaching a period where we could see
- 0:13massive price increases in silver and gold.
- 0:18Guys, when? We look all over the world when
- 0:20we look at China, when we look at India, when we look at
- 0:23Vietnam, when we look at Thailand, and the list goes on
- 0:27and on for both gold and silver. We are seeing unbelievable
- 0:33demand numbers. Look, we got to be real, OK?
- 0:36I know most of you are joining me from the West, a lot of you
- 0:39from the United States, Canada, a lot of you from Australia,
- 0:43right? And I'm, I guess I don't know,
- 0:45is Australia a Western? Country, I'm not sure, but
- 0:47nonetheless we got to be real about the fact that we can thank
- 0:52Asia, yes Asia, the BRICS countries in general for this
- 0:57massive. Price move that we've had in
- 1:00silver and gold and now Elon Musk point something out on X
- 1:06yesterday that does have something very much to do with
- 1:11the silver price. And it got 10 million views or
- 1:1410 million shares or whatever you want to call it.
- 1:17Guys, everywhere we look, there's a growing story, a
- 1:21growing fundamental story for the silver and gold price, and
- 1:24it's mostly being driven by Asia, OK?
- 1:28But the good news is, as you know, that if the Western
- 1:32investors just stop hating gold and silver so much, right?
- 1:38I've heard Rick Rule say that. And by the way, I will be having
- 1:41Rick Rule as a guest here in the basement in just a few weeks.
- 1:45But I loved when Rick Rule said that like he was talking about
- 1:48silver. And he said.
- 1:50We don't need silver to be loved for the price to go through the
- 1:55roof to be loved by Western investors.
- 1:58No, we just needed to be a little less hated.
- 2:02I mean, we have so much runway of for improvement in the silver
- 2:06price just when the Western investor comes back, right?
- 2:11I mean, wait till you see this data that I'm going to show you
- 2:14regarding what's going on in Asia.
- 2:16It is fascinating. But let's start by taking a look
- 2:20at and I am in Pfc. Hold on, bear with me.
- 2:24We are live in Ron's basement and I think you you're still
- 2:28here, right? Yeah, you're still here.
- 2:30Let's go take a look at this tweet from Elon Musk.
- 2:35The one and only. Elon Musk, I hear that his car
- 2:39company Tesla's having a good morning.
- 2:42I know there's people have a, a, a variety of opinions regarding
- 2:47Tesla, but none the less, this is about solar and he retweeted
- 2:51this tweet from Alex Stapp newly added solar capacity year to
- 2:56date in China. OK, now we're going to dig into.
- 2:59This a little. More that shows 2024.
- 3:02I've got another chart that'll show it better, but what you
- 3:05want to see is 11 million people.
- 3:08Now stop, basement dwellers, stop right now.
- 3:11OK, I'm telling you. I'm telling you, when you're
- 3:16think about a solar panel, don't think of a solar panel as a
- 3:20solar panel. Think of a solar panel as a one
- 3:24ounce American Silver Eagle or a one ounce Krugerrand or a one
- 3:29ounce silver bar. Because at this point.
- 3:32OK, I know that the previous generations had about 2/3 of an
- 3:36ounce of silver in them, but the newer generation of solar panels
- 3:39have more and more silver in them.
- 3:42Just for for for example, purposes, when we see a solar
- 3:46panel, when you're driving down the road, think of the nearest,
- 3:49you know, maybe you've got them on your house, maybe your
- 3:51neighbors. When you look at those panels,
- 3:53think of an ounce of silver. And when you see what's going on
- 3:56in China, it is downright crazy. And when Elon Musk retweets a
- 4:01tweet and it gets 11,000,000 views, you know?
- 4:06Things are moving, but let's go take a look at this because it
- 4:09explains it a little bit better. It's guys, it's unbelievable the
- 4:15amount of demand that we are seeing for silver from the solar
- 4:19industry. This one came.
- 4:21From. Lori Miraverta, she says China
- 4:26added 19 gigawatts. I've got something also very
- 4:31interesting. Do you know what a GW is?
- 4:34Eisenhower, I'll be honest with you, I'm not the biggest.
- 4:37I'm not, I'm not an electric guru.
- 4:38But I've got some information for you about what a GW is that
- 4:42you're going to find absolutely fascinating.
- 4:44But a GW is also a huge amount of silver when it is produced by
- 4:49solar. Back to this tweet.
- 4:52Let's keep it on track here. What do you say, basement?
- 4:54Well, there's China added 19 gigawatts of solar, 3 gigawatts
- 4:58of wind and 1.2 gigawatts of nuclear in May 79 gigawatts of
- 5:03solar and 20 gigawatts of wind were added between January and
- 5:07May. So the what?
- 5:09The first five months of the year increasing 29% and 21% from
- 5:14last year's numbers. Solar edition speed up in May
- 5:18from the last month in May of last year.
- 5:21But let's take a look at these charts, guys.
- 5:23This chart on the left is the one right there.
- 5:27Solar OK newly added power capacity year to date OK, Look
- 5:32over here 2019-2020 2020 two 2020.
- 5:39Three, obviously that's for the whole year through May of this
- 5:43year. We are again at adding capacity
- 5:48at a rate which is going to be a new record.
- 5:51We are living on borrowed time in the silver market.
- 5:56There is no other way to talk about it.
- 5:58We are living off the reserves. It'd be like you and your wife
- 6:03are you and your husband are you and your partner are just you.
- 6:07And by the way, there is only one you.
- 6:09I forgot the most important part of the show.
- 6:12It's a big deal that you decide to give us your time graciously
- 6:16to join us here in the basement. On behalf of myself and Susie
- 6:20Silver, Susie, my wife, the boss, we want to say thank you
- 6:24for being here. We hope you find a little refuge
- 6:27from the storm, a home away from home where you can talk about
- 6:31your favorite subjects. At the top of the list are, of
- 6:34course, silver and gold. That's what we.
- 6:37Tend to focus on on this channel so thank you for being here
- 6:40please give this a thumbs up that helps the channel helps get
- 6:43the word out to more people and subscribe if you haven't already
- 6:48that helps as well thank you now when we're talking about this
- 6:53whole silver situation 2/3 of a of a now I forgot my.
- 6:57Train of thought. Bear with me, I'll get back on
- 7:02track in just one second. OK.
- 7:05The solar story is huge, and it's going to continue to be
- 7:08huge. It's happening faster and faster
- 7:11than ever. Oh, I promised you something
- 7:12interesting. That's right.
- 7:14I know you're, you're fascinated already, but it's going to get
- 7:16more fascinating. OK, here.
- 7:19Here we go. OK.
- 7:22And I think the guy, what's his name, Salivate Metal, kind of
- 7:25broke this story last night, so I want to give him credit.
- 7:28But this one, the world's largest solar plant.
- 7:31Featuring over 5 million panels. 5 million.
- 7:35Remember what we said earlier, guys, just just for example's
- 7:39sake, you can think of each panel as one ounce of silver.
- 7:43Oh, I know what it is. We're living on borrowed time.
- 7:46OK, then I'm gonna get back to this.
- 7:48OK? We are.
- 7:48We are. We are pulling silver out of the
- 7:51reserves every year. It would be like if you and your
- 7:54partner, spouse. Whatever You yourself, we're
- 7:57living, we're 35 or 40 years old.
- 8:00Wouldn't that be nice to be that young again, huh?
- 8:02Those of you out there who are enjoy your youth, but none the
- 8:05less, being 30 years old and and living off your $200,000 four O
- 8:121K balance, right, It's only going to last for so long.
- 8:15Say no, I'm not going to work. I'm going to take five years
- 8:18off. Well, guess what, at the end of
- 8:20those five years, all that money's gone.
- 8:21That's exactly what's going on right now in the silver market.
- 8:24We are living on borrowed. Time we are pulling from the
- 8:29world, from the reserves, right? It's it can only go on for so
- 8:34long and you know the whole story.
- 8:36There is not new silver production coming online.
- 8:40Not at all. Forget about that.
- 8:42Sorry. Silver institute, OK, there will
- 8:46be decreasing silver production in the years to come.
- 8:50World's largest solar plant 5 million panels get switched on
- 8:55in China. It looks really cool.
- 8:58Somebody says wait till you see this picture.
- 9:02You got that, my friends, is what, 5 million?
- 9:06So so look at think about that. Not as a big field full of all
- 9:10those millions and millions of solar panels.
- 9:13That's a giant fields with millions and millions of one
- 9:18ounce silver bars, American silver Eagles.
- 9:21However you want to think about it, that's what it is.
- 9:23Let's just look at some of the highlights here.
- 9:26The title World's largest is a brief designation for wind and
- 9:29solar farms worldwide as they exceed establish turbine height,
- 9:33panel count and capacity limits. What they're saying is week
- 9:37after week, it seems like we're hearing about a new world's
- 9:40biggest solar farm. We know India also is building
- 9:44solar farms the size of Paris there.
- 9:47I mean, come on, is this is huge, guys.
- 9:51The thing is. They're out in the middle of
- 9:53nowhere, so nobody sees them until I share pictures like that
- 9:57last. One with you.
- 9:58Right. I mean, they are building these
- 10:00things out all over the place now.
- 10:03A subsidiary of China Green Development Investment Group has
- 10:06turned on the world's largest solar plant.
- 10:08What does? What's a GW wait till?
- 10:10You hear the GW? We're going to get into that,
- 10:12yes. Going to share the picture.
- 10:16Or just talk about. It oh, I'm going to share it,
- 10:17which I forgot to do OK, guys, hold on.
- 10:20I apologize. I made a mistake.
- 10:24What wrong one? OK, here we go Here's the
- 10:28picture. I thank you Susie.
- 10:30You saved me on that one. I forgot to share the screen.
- 10:33That's the picture guys again, that's 5 million.
- 10:36That's probably only, I don't know a million of them.
- 10:38It goes on for miles and miles. They say that is you think of
- 10:45not that think of of that picture is not a bunch of solar
- 10:47panels, but a bunch of one ounce silver bars.
- 10:50Sorry, I forgot to share the screen.
- 10:54So they're talking it's a 3.5 GW operation, blah, blah, blah.
- 10:57This is interesting. Has more than 5,260,000 million
- 11:03panels again or we could say ounces of silver roughly
- 11:06speaking. For reference, a GW one GW can
- 11:11power 100 million LED light. Bulbs.
- 11:15That's a lot, OK? Reuters reported that the 33,000
- 11:19acre solar farm in Xinjiang, which came online on June 3rd,
- 11:22will generate about 6.09 billion kilowatt electric hours
- 11:29electricity each year, enough to power the country of.
- 11:31Papua New Guinea. All right, so this is happening
- 11:34right beneath our eyes. Solar is taking off.
- 11:37And I think, oh, here we go. Photovoltaic solar power
- 11:40generated about only 4.5%. I thought that was interesting
- 11:44of global electricity in 2022. Silver and photovoltaic are hand
- 11:51in hand. What I what I think is important
- 11:53to recognize there for us guys. I mean, do you agree?
- 11:564.5%. If that were to let's say
- 12:00quadruple, that would be what, 18% that's not out of line, OK,
- 12:06behind, behind hydropower and when but.
- 12:10Solar's growth was up 26% with China creating about almost 40%
- 12:16of the new capacity. I got to come back to you guys.
- 12:19I really apologize. That happens from time to time.
- 12:22I don't realize that I'm not sharing the screen, so please
- 12:25forgive me. I will continue to do the best I
- 12:28can with my presentation skills for you here in the basement,
- 12:32right? And I'm going to say it again.
- 12:33Thank you for being here. It's a big deal.
- 12:36I appreciate. OK.
- 12:38And Susie says we got 100 likes. Let's let's do it.
- 12:44Let's ping it 10 times 345678910 that's 10 pings of the bell for
- 12:53the 100 thumbs up. Thank you guys.
- 12:55I will ring the other bell now let's learn this is this is this
- 12:59I found this very, very interesting about a GW how much
- 13:03power is one get this quick education, but this is this also
- 13:06was kind of fascinating to me. For instance, at the end of
- 13:102022, there were over 144 gigawatts of wind power, but I
- 13:16didn't realize only 110 gigawatts of solar photovoltaic
- 13:22power in the United States. There's more wind power being
- 13:25generated than solar here in the United States.
- 13:27I have a feeling that's going to change.
- 13:29That's not the point of this. Stay with me because you're
- 13:31about to be. Fascinated.
- 13:33If you're anything like me in purple.
- 13:35To help put this number into perspective, it's important to
- 13:39know just how big one GW is. Like, I have no idea.
- 13:42Like, what's a GW? A Watt is a measure of power,
- 13:46and there are 1 billion watts. In one GW OK, but really here
- 13:52this is interesting. How much power is one GW?
- 13:572.5 million solar panels again guys, those aren't solar panels.
- 14:01Those are little silver bars, but it's also can be looked at
- 14:053. It's also 310 utility scale wind
- 14:09turbines. This is not the really the
- 14:10interesting part. This gets more interesting.
- 14:12It's also one GW is 100 million. LED bulbs, guys, the energy and
- 14:19electronic transformation is going on right now in our world
- 14:24and it all has everything to do with silver.
- 14:28Right. OK, I'm I'm staying on track
- 14:31with you here. This.
- 14:32Is where I got. Interesting one.
- 14:34GW power is also roughly equal to 1.3 million horses.
- 14:41I thought that was interesting based on horsepower to watts
- 14:44conversion, 746 watts equals 1 horsepower.
- 14:48I mean, this is how I mean, I know just just to keep this in
- 14:52perspective, that's how, because I've heard that say about about
- 14:56like a barrel of oil is equal to 2000 hours of manual labor by an
- 15:02by an average man. This is how energy
- 15:05transformations take place. And we're going to talk a little
- 15:07bit more because it gets even more interesting.
- 15:09It's also one gigawatts equal to 2000 Corvette Z Oh, sixes, kind
- 15:15of a cool car, no doubt about it, 9090 Nissan Leafs.
- 15:21So anyway that that just gives you, I think that's the most
- 15:23interesting 1.31 gigawatts equal to 1.3 million horses.
- 15:27We are in Do you? Do you believe?
- 15:31That we are in the midst right now of an energy revolution an
- 15:35an electronics revolution, right?
- 15:38I believe we are. But what does that mean, right?
- 15:41That means there's one critical metal that runs common amongst
- 15:46almost all the technologies involved in the green energy
- 15:50revolution, in the electronics technology revolution, and the
- 15:54semiconductors. Right.
- 15:56We're not even gonna. It's silver, right?
- 15:58Is silver the new oil? We talked about this like 2-3
- 16:02weeks ago, right? The last 100 years oil
- 16:05transformed the world because it was energy.
- 16:09Remember what I just said earlier?
- 16:101 barrel of oil. And don't quote me on this, but
- 16:12there is a a a stat out there like 1 barrel of oil can create
- 16:17the energy that's equal to like one man working 2000 hours a
- 16:21year or however long it is. Half a year?
- 16:24Year and a half what? A but right oil.
- 16:27Because of, of, of technology innovations that came about
- 16:30about 100 years ago, transformed the world from an energy
- 16:34perspective. Now, I'm not one of these people
- 16:37that says, well, in 10 years, oil's gonna be gone.
- 16:39No, Excuse me, I don't think oil's gonna be gone.
- 16:43But I do know. That green energy is taking a
- 16:49lion's share. In the next, let's say 20 to 50
- 16:53years, five years from the, the oil industry and, and and is
- 16:58silver the new oil for the next 100 years, right we're.
- 17:02Going to talk later. Silvers and everything.
- 17:04It's even used in nuclear reactors.
- 17:06I mean, it's absolutely mind numbing what's going on right
- 17:09now in the world and we're not even talking about let's just
- 17:13briefly touch on this is what's driving the metals.
- 17:18This is in particular what's driving the silver price.
- 17:22Do you? Is it any wonder?
- 17:23Let's run out here. Let's go out and take a look.
- 17:25Is it any wonder, right? I am really impressed with
- 17:28silver. Let me make sure I'm on here
- 17:30now. OK?
- 17:31I am and here we are at the Pendex website.
- 17:33Let's do a quick refresh. OK, Silver's up 14 cents are are
- 17:38you? I'm really impressed with how
- 17:41how resilient the silver price has been over let's say the last
- 17:44two to three weeks. Silver just keeps holding in
- 17:49there. I I had said earlier, if we can
- 17:51make it through this, you know, kind of July, mid August time
- 17:56frame with the silver price holding above 262728 ish per oz.
- 18:01But so far, knock on wood, OK, knock on some wood with me.
- 18:05I don't know if you heard that. Silver's holding strong and This
- 18:10is why, right? This because they're guys were
- 18:13living off their reserves at the same time where the demand
- 18:18because of what I showed you is going through the roof.
- 18:20Let's say thank you to channel sponsor Pimbex Pi MB EX OK, It's
- 18:26where I buy my silver. They sponsored the channel.
- 18:30I think August is going to be a full year, but I first started
- 18:33buying silver from Pimbex months before that.
- 18:37And as a happy customer, I was even more happy when they
- 18:40offered to sponsor Ron's Basement because I know when I
- 18:43go to Pinbex, I've got a great selection to choose from.
- 18:46I mean, look at this guys, all these different gold coins, all
- 18:50these different silver coins, bars, products, and we'll go
- 18:53platinum group, same thing, OK? I know the selection's going to
- 18:57be great. I know that it's a company that
- 19:01I can trust. I've developed a very high level
- 19:04of confidence that when I order something from Pimbex, it's
- 19:06going to show up, it's going to be wrapped like Fort Knox.
- 19:09But what I really? Like is when I order something
- 19:12from Pimbex, that package that shows up, it's got a little
- 19:15extra silver in there because I'm able to buy an ounce or two
- 19:19more each time with all the money that I saved.
- 19:23When I compare their prices to the other big online bullion
- 19:26dealers, but you need. To figure it out.
- 19:29For yourself, I never tell you what to do.
- 19:31I'm not giving financial advice, but I'll just say I think you'll
- 19:35benefit if next time you're looking to buy some silver, gold
- 19:38or platinum, you check out Pembeks and they can help with
- 19:41IRA conversions as well. Let's do an update here.
- 19:44Look at that. Since we've been on silver's
- 19:46gone up to cents. Maybe we should just sit here
- 19:48all day and keep hitting refresh.
- 19:52No, didn't work that time. All right, let's go back just
- 19:56quickly. We're not going to get into
- 19:58this. It's not just China.
- 20:00OK guys. And wait till you hear what's
- 20:03going on in Thailand and Vietnam right now with precious metals.
- 20:08It is happening. We don't know what's happening
- 20:11in the United States because of two things.
- 20:13Number one, we're, we're so like we live in a bubble in the
- 20:16United States and #2 the mainstream media and our
- 20:21government doesn't want us to know what's going on.
- 20:24Don't forget guys. The federal government does not
- 20:27like gold and silver. That's been well proven and well
- 20:32documented. So while the rest of the world
- 20:34is going precious metals crazy, I mean, does it make, does it
- 20:37make sense that that's why we got gold at 2300 and silver like
- 20:42$29.00 per oz? The world is going crazy over
- 20:45these metals. But in America, we're just like,
- 20:48we're like in a we're like, like, our heads are not you and
- 20:51me, but our fellow Americans. Heads are in the sand.
- 20:55That's what I'm trying to say. You want to look at India real
- 20:58quickly, All right, We're not going to spend a lot of time on
- 21:01this one. But India imports more silver in
- 21:04four months, the first four months of 2024, then in all of
- 21:092023. And again, I'm not, we're not
- 21:12going to dig into this, but it's all from industrial demand.
- 21:16They're the world's biggest silver consumer.
- 21:20They, they, they just to put it in perspective, down here in
- 21:22purple, they imported 4 / 4000 metric tons from January to
- 21:26April and in last year in that same period, January to April,
- 21:31they only. Imported 455, forty 200 this
- 21:36year, 460 last year. Case closed.
- 21:40OK, all right, there's other big news going on and then we're
- 21:43going to talk about what's happening in Thailand.
- 21:46Thailand I'm trying to get. Bry the Thai guy to come on
- 21:50here. One of my best friends was my
- 21:51neighbor. He's lived in Thailand for like
- 21:5320 years now. Super successful guy.
- 21:57He's not going to come on today, but I'm going to get Bry the
- 21:59Thai guy on here. He's like the president of the
- 22:02Rotary Club. Super successful, smart, cool
- 22:05guy. To ask him what he's sensing on
- 22:08the streets of Thailand because this news we're getting out of
- 22:11Thailand is crazy, But we got other big news stories to cover,
- 22:14things that are going to impact the price of silver and gold.
- 22:17OK, let me make sure I got everything colored covered here.
- 22:22Yes. OK.
- 22:23All right, let's talk. Let's switch gears quickly
- 22:26because the big news of the day, we got a couple of big news
- 22:29stories. Number one, our old friend.
- 22:31Wow. Wait a minute.
- 22:33I guess, boy, we've been on A roll lately.
- 22:36This guy, this guy, he's in Europe.
- 22:40He's over in Europe, you know. Do you know who that is?
- 22:44Come on. If you don't know who that is,
- 22:45basement dwellers, you need to write it down right now.
- 22:47That's Jerome Powell. Hi, everybody.
- 22:57You may not like it, I'm not, I don't like it, but I'm telling
- 23:00you temporarily. Temporarily, just like when
- 23:03Nixon took us off the gold standard temporarily.
- 23:06We're back in a little period of.
- 23:08Time when the silver price and gold price are going to be more
- 23:12dramatically affected by what goes on with economic data in
- 23:16the Federal Reserve. It does not diminish the fact
- 23:20that it still remains that it's short term noise, but
- 23:24temporarily OK. Remember back in December?
- 23:27When gold was fighting for 2000 and we predicted us basement
- 23:32dwellers that by May we would have $2500 gold, which we became
- 23:37very close to. We got the 2450 go back and
- 23:40check the old live streams, OK? But back in December, we said
- 23:45we're in a new environment, a new paradigm.
- 23:47For the gold and silver price and we are, but temporarily
- 23:50we're still going to have a little little little relapses,
- 23:54right? Gold and silver are going to be
- 23:57during the summer doldrums affected by the Fed.
- 23:59And what do we get? News.
- 24:00I mean, it's such BS, OK, I'm sorry, I got to call it what it
- 24:04is, OK Such BS such Mickey Mouse.
- 24:09Yahoo Finance has this article from Reuters that says Feds
- 24:13Gomer Pyle. Says more evidence of falling
- 24:17inflation needed before the Fed cut.
- 24:20I mean, they're like, it's like wishy washy.
- 24:22They, they're scared guys. They're one day they're dovish,
- 24:25the next day they're hawkish. One day they're dovish, the next
- 24:28day they're hawkish. On the days when they're dovish,
- 24:31gold and silver are going to go up on the days when they're
- 24:34hawkish. Oh, we need to fight inflation
- 24:36and blah, blah, blah. The price of gold and silver go
- 24:38down. Let's just briefly look and say
- 24:40what he said here in Portugal. What's he doing in Portugal?
- 24:44The US central bank still needs more data before cutting
- 24:48interest rates to ensure that recent weaker inflation readings
- 24:51give a true picture of what's happening to the underlying
- 24:54price pressures. Federal.
- 24:56It's Gomer Pyle. Gomer Pyle, what did I say?
- 25:04What did I say? Susie, what did I say?
- 25:09You said Gomer. Pyle.
- 25:11But I was saying calm Gomer Pyle.
- 25:14Oh, Gomer Powell. OK.
- 25:16Sorry, I'm I'm, I'm subscribing to my Susanity there, she says.
- 25:21Gomer Powell. Gomer Powell.
- 25:22Thank you. Gomer Powell.
- 25:24No, it's Jerome. Anyway, look, he's playing
- 25:27Mickey Mouse games. Guys, we aren't even going to
- 25:29read this. We're not going to.
- 25:30We're not even going to. It's it's it's.
- 25:34Either no matter how it works out, no matter all their little
- 25:38smoke and mirrors games that they're playing at this point
- 25:42because. This.
- 25:43Remember this is based on nothing, nothing, nothing.
- 25:51It's based on confidence and what are the 1st 3 letters in
- 25:55the word confidence con OK, Why do you think why do you think
- 26:00they have to put the Fed governors out every every week
- 26:03and have speeches and try to control the market, manage
- 26:06expectations? Why is the Fed become more of a?
- 26:11Hold on, my dad's calling me. Why is the Fed become more of a
- 26:18public public relations firm then they are a a bank?
- 26:24Think about it. OK all right, case closed, but
- 26:27we'll just but just be prepared. Now the big story.
- 26:30Be scared or be excited. I made a prediction but the
- 26:34Friday's the big day. We're all going to party up on
- 26:37the 4th of July. Friday's a big, big, massive,
- 26:41massive, major Newsday. That's when we get the non farm
- 26:45payroll number. OK, if it comes in greater than
- 26:48expected, oh, we created all these jobs and oh, everything's
- 26:52awesome, blah blah blah, you know, we're going to get killed
- 26:56in the silver and gold market. But what I think's going to
- 26:59happen instead is the numbers going to come in under
- 27:03expectations. I think the hens have come home
- 27:05to roost. I I could be dead wrong don't
- 27:08make any finding, but I think we could be in for a big positive
- 27:11up move day on Friday in the silver and gold market.
- 27:15You know right you can ask Susie she'll tell you I'm wrong all
- 27:19the time. If I'm wrong, I'll come back on
- 27:21here. I'll say that I'm wrong, but the
- 27:23potential I don't want to oversell this, but there's a
- 27:26there's a there's a good chance guys that if.
- 27:30We. Get that news on Friday that the
- 27:33jobs numbers are down. It could be the catalyst to
- 27:37start what I would call an early summer rally in the metals.
- 27:42OK, All right. I don't think that it's an odds
- 27:46on favorite, but I think it's much more likely than a lot of
- 27:49people are willing to go out on a limb like I am and say it's
- 27:53the case. We're in the summer doldrums.
- 27:55But if we get this big news on Friday, Katie, bar the door,
- 27:58right, We could have a big summer party, right?
- 28:00And guess what? I got news for you too, basement
- 28:03dwellers you want to give away, I think.
- 28:06I'll keep you. Posted I think I'm pretty
- 28:09confident actually that we might be doing a silver giveaway
- 28:12thanks to our friends at Pendex at the end of August and end of
- 28:16summer giveaway. So stay tuned for that as well.
- 28:20Let's put up our banner. Hold on here, guys.
- 28:23Banner. There it is to say thanks to
- 28:27Pendeks and all of our sponsors. And let's let's look at some
- 28:32charts. Crucial.
- 28:34That's what they're saying, right?
- 28:35I mean, I was here. Hold on.
- 28:39Let's look at this. This is this is what we'll go
- 28:42out to Yahoo Finance. And now I'm sure it'll be
- 28:46disappeared. OK, here we go.
- 28:49Job openings, new hires unexpectedly rise.
- 28:52So that was the JOLTS data that came out today.
- 28:57Paul says now we're getting back on a disinflationary pant.
- 29:00It's all a bunch of noise. OK stock search for direction
- 29:05after Powell comments jobs data one of the articles and and
- 29:09we're going to skip a forward at this point, but one of the
- 29:12articles this morning said that Friday's big numbers are quick,
- 29:17quick. OK thank you Susie.
- 29:20Susie's very active this morning.
- 29:22That's great, critical, crucial. So they're really building up to
- 29:27Friday, OK. I I just I I got a.
- 29:30Feeling we're in for a good day on Friday in the silver and gold
- 29:33market. OK, Hey, wow.
- 29:36Here we are at silverseek.com. I want to go through some
- 29:39charts. These these are some excellent
- 29:40charts from this website at the for silver and gold.
- 29:45And then look up there in the corner, Fortuna Silver, also a
- 29:49Fortuna silver, Fortuna mining, right?
- 29:52They've changed their name, but Fortuna is a sponsor of Ron's
- 29:57Basement. You can learn more about them at
- 29:59Fortuna mining.com. Here we go.
- 30:02Gold and silver charts looking most encouraging.
- 30:05And again, these. This is an article on
- 30:07silverseek.com by Clive Monde. I'm going to skip down to the
- 30:10charts. I don't know if I can click on
- 30:13this or not. Oh, yeah, that works.
- 30:16OK, so guys, this is gold. This is interesting what this
- 30:20guy sees in these gold charts, trying to make that smaller so
- 30:25it takes up the whole screen, but I don't know that that's
- 30:27working. OK, so this is gold six months.
- 30:32OK, all right, here we go. The trading range that has
- 30:37formed in gold from April is believed to be of a rectangular
- 30:42consolidation that will lead to another strong up leg.
- 30:46So here we go. We'd gold, what, $2000 back in
- 30:50back in February, right? We touched 2000, shot all the
- 30:54way up, as you know, right as we had predicted that we'd have.
- 30:592425 hundred by May, we didn't quite get there, but none the
- 31:03less during this period starting around April, look at gold,
- 31:07right kind of in this in this zone and what it's doing right
- 31:11and we're going to look at silver next, but what it's
- 31:14doing. Is it is getting rid of the weak
- 31:17hands, It's building a new base, OK.
- 31:20And then man, if we build this base, I was really hoping well,
- 31:24here's the support down here 2200 and also supported 2300.
- 31:29I was hoping this support would hold through the summer.
- 31:32So far, again, knock on wood, it's holding about 2300.
- 31:36And if we get rid of enough of the sellers?
- 31:38In this range and with all the things going on in the world, we
- 31:43could definitely see a big move. Up like a stair step.
- 31:46Move up. Let's go down and look at
- 31:48silver. OK.
- 31:50And again, this is this is the MACD, which shows overbought
- 31:54underbought. April's overbought condition is
- 31:57now fully unwound. So you can see the MACD
- 32:00indicator got really high, which meant, OK, I'm going to ring the
- 32:03bell. That's for 200 thumbs up.
- 32:08That's for you, basement dwellers.
- 32:10Thank you. Wow, I'm feeling lucky.
- 32:12Let's see if I can get the silver.
- 32:15OK, here's silver. Let's look at the silver chart.
- 32:20OK, silver on a six month basis and hold on here, see if I can
- 32:31make it smaller so that we can see it better.
- 32:35OK, Silver. OK.
- 32:39If you look at the silver chart, it's also a very interesting OK,
- 32:44looks like a classic buy spot for silver here after its normal
- 32:47counter trend reaction back to support.
- 32:50At the lower rail of the uptrend channel.
- 32:53So what he's saying is here's a channel, right?
- 32:55The two blue lines and look how silver.
- 32:58Let's just remember guys, we had $22.00 silver on my birthday in
- 33:02mid February, OK, silver flew up.
- 33:05Now it's in this channel goes up, down, up $29.00 for silver
- 33:11is very, very critical now because if we don't, if we don't
- 33:15stick $29.00, they're saying the next support level is 26.
- 33:19That is ultra. Critical we get below. $26 an
- 33:22ounce on silver. It could be.
- 33:25It could be not good. I'll be more depressed than
- 33:30normal, but nonetheless, these are called flags.
- 33:34I'm not a tech guru, but this is like a flag.
- 33:36Like there's the pole, there's the flag and then it breaks up.
- 33:39There's the pole, there's the flag.
- 33:42If we can hold here and break up and if we can do that over the
- 33:46summer months. Katie bar the door 'cause we
- 33:49looked at yesterday on my charts, the long term chart of
- 33:56the of of silver with the cup and handle and that we're in the
- 34:00handle of the cup and handle and within the handle of the cup and
- 34:02handle, we got a cup and handle an inverse head and shoulders, a
- 34:05wedge that we broke out of all, you know, support everything
- 34:08else. This is the mining stocks.
- 34:11Look, the mining stocks are important because guys, think
- 34:14about this. If money comes back into the
- 34:17into the gold and silver mining sector, which it has not been
- 34:21in, nobody's buying gold mining stocks, nobody's buying silver
- 34:24mining stocks. It's like, it's like a high
- 34:26school gymnasium full of 400 people in the whole world that
- 34:30are buying and selling gold and silver mining stocks.
- 34:32And that's OK because that gives a massive room for improvement.
- 34:36Like we could be moving to the the Rose Bowl with 80,000 seats
- 34:42full of people buying them. So if you're buying and holding
- 34:46precious metal mining stocks right now, you are an elite.
- 34:50You're smart of a smart and part of a small crowd in my opinion.
- 34:54But the GDX, which is the gold miners index again, he says,
- 35:00remains a very positive chart. For the past two months, the
- 35:03sector has been consolidating its strong gains from late
- 35:07February through mid-april and will soon be ready to advance
- 35:10anew. This is a buy area.
- 35:12So again, we went up, we shot up, right and we're back in this
- 35:16area. OK, thank you, Susie.
- 35:20These are support areas. I'm going to recognize the Super
- 35:22chats in just one second. But what I want to say first is
- 35:25why it's important for us to look at the gold and silver
- 35:29mining stocks right as well is because if some of those people
- 35:33remember right now, it's a high school gymnasium with 400 people
- 35:37trading gold and silver mining stocks.
- 35:39I'm sorry, but that's what it's like.
- 35:41I heard Peter granted say it's just me and him.
- 35:44You joked around, are the only people that that buy and sell
- 35:47the precious metal mining stocks, right?
- 35:50When we get the when we get the Rose Bowl full of people, guess
- 35:54what, buttercup, that's not just gonna help the precious metal
- 35:58mining stocks, which it will, right, which it will cause it's
- 36:01such a small time, but it will also bring renewed focus in the
- 36:06West to the mining or I'm sorry to the physical metals, silver
- 36:11and gold, because let's be real, right?
- 36:14What we talked about earlier, The only reason.
- 36:18OK, don't, Pat. I'm not Pat.
- 36:20Well, look, I'm not. Don't take me wrong.
- 36:22Don't get me wrong here when I say this, it's not we, we can
- 36:29thank you and I, the basement dwellers, right?
- 36:31And we got a huge community, over 5, almost 600 people with
- 36:34us now. But we aren't the reason why
- 36:37silver and gold have gone up. The Asians, right?
- 36:40The Chinese, the, the, oh, they're the reason why.
- 36:43And wait till you hear this information about what's going
- 36:45on in Thailand and Vietnam. It's crazy, OK.
- 36:49So if we. Get western investors buying
- 36:51gold mining stocks and then they start to buy some silver and
- 36:54gold on top of it. It it could be, it could, it
- 36:58could move not only the mining stocks, but also the value of
- 37:02the actual metals as well. Let's go out here, I need to
- 37:05say. Thank.
- 37:06You thank you, our good friend. There he is smiling Ron McAdams.
- 37:12And you know what you got a great first name.
- 37:15Thank you, Ron for the Super chat, Rachel.
- 37:18Also gave us a super chat. I want to recognize that.
- 37:21Thank you, Rachel. You're very welcome.
- 37:23And I, we appreciate on behalf of myself, Susie and my twin
- 37:26daughters, thank you for the support of the channel.
- 37:29Now excuse me guys. Let's.
- 37:33Look at it's, it's unbelievable what is happening right now in
- 37:39these markets. So let's go out and.
- 37:44Let's go to the Silver Academy. OK, Shanghai Gold Exchange
- 37:49inventory, massive outflows of silver.
- 37:53Does this jive with? What we were talking about
- 37:56earlier that they are sucking in all the world silver.
- 37:59This is crazy. But we got a lot of animal
- 38:01analogies today. Remember, one kilowatt.
- 38:06Kilowatt. Yeah, one GW, whatever is equal
- 38:08to 1.3 million horses. But wait till you hear this.
- 38:12Two 215,000 kilos and a kilo is about a little over like 3335
- 38:19oz. Anyway, 215,000 kilos.
- 38:22This is roughly the weight of 60 adult, not juvenile adult
- 38:28African elephants, or about 108 average cars.
- 38:34You know, elephants are big. I'm.
- 38:37I got to tell. You this quick story remember
- 38:39Bry, the Thai guy that's at some point going to tell us about the
- 38:44demand for gold in Thailand? Well, I went over, I, I was in
- 38:47Thailand for like 5 weeks right before I got married to Susie,
- 38:51visiting with Brian. He was a college professor.
- 38:53We were in Hua Hen. Anyway, I travelled around the
- 38:55country and I went, I, I, I paid some money to go on an elephant
- 38:59ride. You couldn't believe how big an
- 39:01elephant is when you're sitting on top.
- 39:03I was on this elephant quick story in this we're going
- 39:06through the jungle in Thailand and this elephant that I'm on
- 39:10there was like a tree in the way and it was a pretty big tree.
- 39:14And he just put his head down and pushed the tree over.
- 39:17And I remember I was like, Oh my God, I can't believe this is
- 39:21happening. Anyway, 60 adult African
- 39:24elephants worth of silver is how much silver came off the
- 39:27Shanghai Gold Exchange. It's the weekly inventory
- 39:29report. We actually looked at this
- 39:31yesterday. 215,000 kilograms last week left the Shanghai Gold
- 39:37Exchange. OK, now.
- 39:40Remember, that's a physical market.
- 39:42That's not like the Comex and the LBMA where everything's
- 39:46paper, Unicorn fart dust, make believe, funny money, whatever
- 39:49you want to call it. 400 to one leverage, 100 to one leverage,
- 39:52whatever the heck the number is. Leverage, make believe, right?
- 39:57Right. For each one ounce of silver
- 39:59that's mined every year, there's like 400 electronic oz.
- 40:03So anyway, this is the physical market in Shanghai.
- 40:07And it's down 215,000 kilograms. What's a kilogram?
- 40:11Here we go. This is our friend John Little
- 40:13over at Silver Academy, delivering the goods as normal,
- 40:161 kilogram. And we're learning a lot today,
- 40:20basement dwellers, we learned about gigawatts kilograms.
- 40:23Anyway, 1 kilogram is equal to 35.27 ounces.
- 40:28I'll forget that as soon as I get off this page, but
- 40:31nonetheless, we know it for now. So 215,355.
- 40:35Kilograms is equal to 7.6 million oz.
- 40:40OK, to put this large number into perspective, the 7.6
- 40:46million ounces is equivalent to about £475,000.
- 40:51It's roughly. The weight of 60 adult.
- 40:53How about you guys want to see some elephant pictures?
- 40:5760 adult African elephants, or about 108 average cars.
- 41:02China's using all their silver, OK, 90% of it.
- 41:05Photo vitalics going through the roof.
- 41:07We know that electrical electroplating silver consumed
- 41:12wow, 3000 tons. I didn't know that this is
- 41:15China. Those are elephants.
- 41:17When you look at those elephants, imagine sixty of them
- 41:20and imagine. And there's elephants and cars
- 41:23as well. Interesting.
- 41:25OK, imagine that much silver in one week, leaving the Shanghai
- 41:31Gold Exchange more unreported. This was just interesting.
- 41:35The Silver Institute doesn't give us any numbers on how much.
- 41:38Silver is used by aerospace and military, right?
- 41:42They just kind of forget about that.
- 41:44And we know it's solar. We know, OK, But it's also used
- 41:47in aerospace and military, but it's also used in nuclear.
- 41:52Silver is the material that absorbs excess radiation and
- 41:56nuclear reactors. We never hear about this
- 41:59Westinghouse pressurized water reactors.
- 42:01There are over 3000 of these rod cluster control assemblies,
- 42:06control rods and operation per the manufacturer.
- 42:11Silver may be better way. OK.
- 42:14And, and these things have silver in them.
- 42:16And he what he's proposing is again, silver is silver the new
- 42:20oil. It's so I mean silver's used in
- 42:22solar, silver's used in everything electric.
- 42:25Silver is everywhere. And now we're learning it's even
- 42:28critical to the nuclear power generation industry because.
- 42:32I found this in here. OK follow my little follow.
- 42:36OK, see my pointer on the right. Then it turns into a plus sign.
- 42:40The most widely used material for control rod absorbers is an
- 42:45alloy of 80% silver, 15% Indium and 5% candium.
- 42:52OK, so there we go. Silver, 80% silver.
- 42:57On average these rods must be replaced every 8.5 years as
- 43:02opposed to the 15 year manufacturer service I've
- 43:04estimated. That's a lot of silver.
- 43:07And it can't be recycled. You want that?
- 43:10It's hard enough to recycle silver, but you really don't
- 43:12want it if it's been in a nuclear reactor.
- 43:17Sometimes when the price of silver gets killed, we feel like
- 43:19it's our silver's been in a nuclear reactor, don't we, guys?
- 43:24No, we don't. We love our silver, just not
- 43:26nuclear. Not silver that came from a
- 43:28nuclear reactor, No doubt about it.
- 43:30South China Morning Post What? What are they telling us?
- 43:35About silver and I mean, we know what's going on in China, We
- 43:38know what's going on in India. We know.
- 43:41Let's talk about quickly, quickly what is happening with
- 43:46the silver price. I'm sorry, silver demand and now
- 43:53I'm all screwed up. Here we go.
- 43:54I hope you guys are still with me.
- 43:55This is from the South China Morning Post Gold by This is
- 44:01from China Gold mine frenzy grips.
- 44:03This is interesting. There's a lot hidden in this, so
- 44:06pay attention. Gold mine frenzy grips Vietnam
- 44:09and Thailand. Remember, Vietnam and Thailand
- 44:12are not China and India. We exhaustively covered why they
- 44:15are sucking in all the world's silver and gold.
- 44:18This is about gold. But Southeast Asia's rush for
- 44:22gold rush, according to Gold rush is pushing prices up.
- 44:26But it's not just everyday investors.
- 44:28Central banks are buying at a blistering rate, too.
- 44:32I like this picture. This OK, here, this is
- 44:36customers. This is in Vietnam.
- 44:39OK, This guy's got a silver helmet on.
- 44:42He wore his a, or she wore her silver helmet when she went to
- 44:45the gold store. This lady.
- 44:47I don't know. I forget what these hats are
- 44:48called. I haven't seen one of those in
- 44:50forever. And I.
- 44:51Think this guy at the end that might be coin shop Chris.
- 44:56Looking away from the camera because he doesn't want to be on
- 44:59camera. So there's coin shop Chris in
- 45:01Hanoi at a Gold. Shop and oh and by the way, Coin
- 45:05shop Chris has his own channel now go checking out at Coin Shop
- 45:08Chris just put that in the YouTube search bar but don't do
- 45:11it now. Don't leave this video now.
- 45:13Please 'cause we got a lot more to cover and let's go down here.
- 45:18Anxious customers in Vietnam Anxious customers in Vietnam and
- 45:22Thailand are rushing to buy gold, a sign of Asia's mounting
- 45:26alarm, analysts say, over currency devaluations against
- 45:31the US dollar, inflation and geopolitical uncertainty In red.
- 45:37Visible queues of buyers I'm not a big fancy word guy.
- 45:41A queue is a line. Visible lines of buyers waiting
- 45:46to snap up chunks of the yellow metal have persisted outside
- 45:50banks in Southeast Asian nations for months.
- 45:55Let's just this is the only sentence I'll repeat.
- 45:58You got lines of people waiting to buy gold and it had been
- 46:03persistent outside banks and it's been going on for months.
- 46:08OK quote in orange. What they are trying to do is to
- 46:12protect themselves against local currency depreciation, said a
- 46:17Singapore based commodities my Michael Lanford.
- 46:20Anyway, thank you Michael. We had no idea why they were
- 46:23doing it. Purple.
- 46:24If you don't have much money in life and all the goods that you
- 46:28buy and sell, this sounds like Americans.
- 46:30Think about your. Think about us, the average
- 46:32Americans. If you don't have a lot of money
- 46:34in life and all the goods that you buy and sell are ultimately
- 46:38priced in U.S. dollars and your local currency is going down,
- 46:42that doesn't feel good. Yeah.
- 46:44Like when you go to the dollar store to buy some dollar candy
- 46:48and they raise the price to $1.25.
- 46:50It doesn't feel good. Welcome to America.
- 46:54You have got inflation working against you, plus you've got
- 46:57currency depreciation. You get hit twice.
- 47:00Southeast Asia's rush for gold has pushed prices up over the
- 47:03last 6 to 12 months. Again, guys, this is is Asia is
- 47:10who we can thank for these high prices.
- 47:14Let's go down. I got more highlighted, don't
- 47:16you worry. SE Asians are particularly
- 47:19inclined to buy gold due to the. Long held belief that the metal
- 47:22is a reliable and tangible quote.
- 47:24Long term store of value compared with other assets.
- 47:28Yes, they have a complete everybody.
- 47:31But in America, because we've been brainwashed since 1930
- 47:35against gold and silver, everybody else in the world
- 47:38knows that it's a store of value in purple.
- 47:41And it's not just these everyday investors who are seeking safe
- 47:45haven. Central banks are also buying
- 47:47gold at a quote UN quote blistering rate.
- 47:50More than 80% of central banks. I didn't realize it was this
- 47:53high. What is this telling us?
- 47:55Expect their reserve managers to increase their gold holdings
- 47:59over the next 12 months, A survey published by the council
- 48:03on June 18th revealed stockpiling the precious metal
- 48:07as a bulk work, Bulk work, whatever.
- 48:10What's a bulk? Bulwark against bulwark.
- 48:13Bulwark against heightened geopolitical risk and mounting
- 48:17macroeconomic uncertainties. There's a person at a Kwik E
- 48:21Mart or a household. Where is that in Hanoi all right
- 48:26now? Typically, high US interest
- 48:29rates would depress. Think about this guys.
- 48:32This is what we talked about. This is another reason why the
- 48:35rally that we've had in the silver and gold market is so
- 48:38exciting and that we're holding. Steady.
- 48:41Right. We're holding the line over the
- 48:43summer because typically high US interest rates would depress
- 48:46gold prices. Yet gold sustained strength
- 48:49suggests investors are more concerned with sticky global
- 48:53inflation, economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions than
- 48:57rising rates. National University of
- 48:59Singapore, I mean, it's coming from every direction.
- 49:02Business School. Strategy, and that's a long.
- 49:05Title for this guy to have strategy and policy lecture he's
- 49:09got a long title and a shortest name in the history of the
- 49:12planet zuli. I wish I had My last name has 11
- 49:17letters in it. I wish I had a My last name was
- 49:20Lee. Think of all.
- 49:21The time I've wasted writing my last name over the years.
- 49:24Anyway, in Asian markets, investors are fucking their
- 49:27typical pattern. Here we go of buying gold only
- 49:30on price tips, opting to purchase the precious metal even
- 49:34as prices surge, the world gold council said.
- 49:37Fighting to buy they're fighting to buy gold buyers rushed to
- 49:43vietnam's state owned banks in June after the central bank
- 49:46agreed to sell more gold to meet public demand and drive down
- 49:49prices. Banks rapidly depleted their
- 49:52supplies, forcing them to. Limit.
- 49:55Purchase it. You're tuning out.
- 50:02You're tuning out. Check out Steven.
- 50:03Super chat. Please.
- 50:07OK, I will. Are you going to do that list of
- 50:09chores that I left for you upstairs?
- 50:14Are you going to do the list of chores that I left for you
- 50:17upstairs? Sweetheart, why don't you go
- 50:21take a bite of something, OK? All right.
- 50:22We're turning Susie off at this point.
- 50:25Banks rapidly depleted their supplies, forcing them to limit
- 50:28purchases TO1 tail, which is, my Lord, kilograms, grams, tons and
- 50:35a tail is a form of measurement guys.
- 50:37I forget what that one means. The lines continued for weeks
- 50:41until banks implemented an online registration system for
- 50:46gold purchases, which also filled up within minutes.
- 50:50Each day. Can you see it?
- 50:52Oh, my gosh. Hold on.
- 50:54Is there more? All right.
- 50:55Gold bars have now become the major channel of investment in
- 50:59Vietnam. Guys, Vietnam's a big economy.
- 51:02There are now lines in the rain and in the sun to buy bars.
- 51:08Commercial banks have sold 2 tons of gold in one week.
- 51:11Previously, they sold 2 tons in one month.
- 51:15Sorry, I'm yelling. Meanwhile, Vietnam.
- 51:18OK, Anyway, in Thailand. Hold on.
- 51:21Are you guys still there? I didn't lose you, did I?
- 51:24Basement. No, No, You're still there.
- 51:26Yeah. No, we're going to talk about
- 51:27Thailand next. People are lining up in the sun
- 51:30and the rain. Gold has become the main
- 51:33investment vehicle in Vietnam. But what about Thailand?
- 51:37You might be asking all. Right.
- 51:39Well, here. We're going to go to Thailand
- 51:40next. Let's go talk to a one of our
- 51:42viewers, Steven Edmonds. Good morning, Ron from the Gold
- 51:45Coast. Thanks for helping keeping me up
- 51:48to try to get into the time zone.
- 51:51Leave today for Boca Raton for the Rick Rule conference.
- 51:54No, I'm not going to the conference, but you warn Rick
- 51:58Rule, tell him, get, tell him to give.
- 52:00Him a thumbs. Up when he's on he's going to be
- 52:02on the basement. I'm going to interview him think
- 52:05on the 23rd is what it's scheduled for.
- 52:07So thank you for the Super chat. Now let's go.
- 52:10Wow, thank you Steven. That is really awesome.
- 52:14Let's go back to this article. We're almost done, guys.
- 52:17And Thailand, too. Ordinary investors are flocking
- 52:19to gold. Oh, boy.
- 52:21I think I like that name Julie better.
- 52:23This one's a hard one to pronounce.
- 52:25Hold on. Make sure we got you guys.
- 52:27Nope, we don't. Darn it.
- 52:30OK, now get back to the article. OK, Ordinary investors are
- 52:35flocking to gold. Not a pong.
- 52:39OK, not a Pong, Hirai UI, our Siri managing director of MTS
- 52:46Gold Group, told the Asia Pacific Precious Metals
- 52:49Conference this was the first time in his career he has seen
- 52:54ties buy gold when prices were rising.
- 52:58Quote, at this price, people should be selling, but
- 53:01everybody's buying. People are actually fighting to
- 53:05buy OK and I've seen that Thai boxing and you don't want to
- 53:10fight with a Thai guy. Chinese investors also bolster
- 53:13gold prices as they join the buying frenzies.
- 53:16Videos on TikTok and it's mainland China counterpart
- 53:19Duyang have shown crowds lining up.
- 53:23I hate that word, queuing to purchase gold in cities like
- 53:27Shenzhen. OK guys, it's happening all over
- 53:30the. World, is it making sense?
- 53:31Are you seeing this is happening?
- 53:37I know, I understand. I'm in Saint Louis, right?
- 53:39Home of the gold, the big giant silver arch, right?
- 53:42OK, I understand. It's hard for us to fathom.
- 53:46But if we got on a plane right now and went to Asia and went
- 53:50around and looked at gold, there's people, there's a gold
- 53:52apparently, right? There's a gold frenzy.
- 53:55Does that make sense when you look at the gold price, guys
- 53:58with interest rates as high as they are right now with the
- 54:02dollar index, right? The best turd in the toilet
- 54:06contest, as high as it is right now, gold should be at like 1800
- 54:11bucks an ounce. But it's not.
- 54:13And it's not because of what is going on in Asia.
- 54:17There's no other way to think about it, OK?
- 54:21There's no other fact. That's what's going on and it's
- 54:24not stopping. And on top of that, the good
- 54:27news I'm, I'm getting excited. To share this with you.
- 54:32The good news, the great news is it hasn't even started yet in
- 54:37America. It's like, it's like, it's like
- 54:41you. Got a a car with a turbo button.
- 54:44OK, a nice car, right? A nice fast.
- 54:46Car it's the gold. It's it's a gold and silver.
- 54:49You got a gold car, I got a silver.
- 54:51Car. But we both have a turbo button,
- 54:53right? Nitrous oxide, whatever you want
- 54:55to call it. These are good cars.
- 54:57We're driving fast, right? We're performing well.
- 55:00We haven't even pressed the turbo button yet.
- 55:02And do you know what the turbo button is?
- 55:04The turbo is when the Western investors come back, when they
- 55:09start to buy gold and silver mining stocks and they start to
- 55:12wake up when this next wave of inflation hits.
- 55:16And baby, it's gonna hit. There's no way that it's not
- 55:19gonna hit. Look at the math.
- 55:22Look at the US debt clock, right?
- 55:24Look at the debt that we have, right?
- 55:26Look at what's going on with the BRICS countries.
- 55:28Look at what? There's no way.
- 55:31There's just no way that the dollar is not gonna go down in
- 55:35value. Listen to Matt.
- 55:37Pipenberg, I'd highly recommend the guy from Gold.
- 55:40He's the, I think he's one of the smartest people in the
- 55:43world. OK, besides you, 'cause you're
- 55:45smart. And I know that because YouTube
- 55:47tells me that the average viewer of Iran's basement video has a
- 55:50little bit higher, let's say we'll call it intellectual
- 55:54horsepower. Right.
- 55:56You don't have as much as one GW worth of power of horsepower.
- 55:59That's what 1.3 million? But you do you know it's real
- 56:03easy. You can get real confused,
- 56:05right? You can get all.
- 56:06Confused about oh, what's going on in in jobs numbers and
- 56:09inflation and DX No, it's real easy because no matter where you
- 56:14look for evidence, it all points to one thing and that is that
- 56:20this. Is going down in value.
- 56:24This is paper. This is nothing.
- 56:26This right? This is an old fashioned dollar.
- 56:30It's actually not a dollar, is it technically?
- 56:32It's look at the very top. Can you read that?
- 56:35Let me hold it still. Right above the United States of
- 56:39America. There you go.
- 56:40It says, see that silver certificate?
- 56:46OK, You see what it says down here in the bottom, $1.00 in
- 56:54silver, payable to the bearer on demand.
- 56:58These don't exist anymore. So the bottom line at the end of
- 57:02the day, is this, right? It's just paper confidence.
- 57:08You know, you can get all confused.
- 57:10You can trust me. I do it all the time.
- 57:12You know it's a struggle, right, 'cause there's so much data, but
- 57:15we know that the value of the dollar is going down.
- 57:18Now, what happens when the value, the real value, not the
- 57:21turds in the toilet. DXY index, right?
- 57:25The turd index, we're going to call it from now on.
- 57:27Not that that means nothing. Who cares?
- 57:31Who cares if who cares? Sorry, if 10 years from now the
- 57:36DXY, the DXY index is right roughly where it is.
- 57:40It doesn't make a lick of difference.
- 57:43OK? Who cares if 10 years from now,
- 57:46right? What you you can trade one of
- 57:50these for a euro? They're around parity, OK.
- 57:53Who cares? What you care about is what can
- 57:57you buy with this, right, right. What can you buy with it 10
- 58:02years from now? And I'll guarantee you one
- 58:04thing, what you're able, I mean it's, it's, it's a mathematical
- 58:09absolute fact that 10 years from now.
- 58:12Right, even if the Fed were able to achieve their 2% devaluation
- 58:18that they shoot for, which they won't, you're going to be able
- 58:21to buy a heck of a lot less last time.
- 58:23You're going to have to look at that.
- 58:25You get my pretty face the rest of the video right.
- 58:28You're going to be able to buy a heck of a lot less with this.
- 58:30But but and it's a big butt and I know you like big butts.
- 58:35You do not lie. OK here this.
- 58:41This right, this. What do you think?
- 58:44What do you think? You can buy with this look at
- 58:46that beauty that came from coin shop Chris, by the way, the gift
- 58:50he sent me. What do you think you can buy
- 58:51with this beauty today and then think about this beauty and.
- 58:55Imagine me 10. Years better looking than I am
- 58:58right now because I am one of those people that gets better
- 59:01looking with age. My mom's that way too.
- 59:06Hi. Mom, Mom's always everybody say
- 59:08hi to my mom. Will you in the comments say hi,
- 59:11Mom. She watches.
- 59:12She loves you guys. What do you think this is going
- 59:15to buy in 10 years? Oh, let's see this today would
- 59:19buy about 8 gallons of gasoline. What do you think that's going
- 59:23to buy in 10 years? I put money, right?
- 59:27It's going to buy about 8 gallons of gasoline.
- 59:30All right. Yeah.
- 59:30What if I had what? What, 3030 U.S. dollars?
- 59:34I hate the things. What if I had thirty of these?
- 59:37All right, This is not a silver certificate.
- 59:39That's a dollar. OK.
- 59:41Do you think, do you think thirty of these is going to buy
- 59:45is going to buy you 10 ounces of of gasoline in 10 years?
- 59:50No. Keep dreaming.
- 59:52Sorry, it's not going to happen. OK.
