- 0:24Speaker 1: Welcome to opposition territory here at the Philadelphia Sports Double
- 0:27Speaker 1: podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly sports podcast show
- 0:30Speaker 1: in the world, over twelve and a half years strong.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We got a great discussion coming your ways. We preview
- 0:35Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders upcoming match up
- 0:38Speaker 1: here in week fifteen. It's gonna be a It's gonna
- 0:42Speaker 1: be a barn burner, folks with these teams here. An
- 0:44Speaker 1: Eagles offense that is floundering, a Raiders team that is
- 0:48Speaker 1: basically out of contention here at this point. But we're
- 0:51Speaker 1: still gonna dive into this matchup. We have from Silver
- 0:55Speaker 1: and Blackpride dot Comune. We love our respudation sites out there.
- 0:59Speaker 1: We've got our good friend Matt Hole their buddy Man.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Thanks so much for joining us for our preview show
- 1:03Speaker 1: this week.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Appreciate you having me on.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Always a pleasure, Always great to have you on, Man,
- 1:07Speaker 1: to talk about this Raiders team and just the NFL
- 1:10Speaker 1: in general. So I guess to start off the conversation
- 1:13Speaker 1: and discussion here on this preview show. Honestly, a lot
- 1:17Speaker 1: of US Eagles fans were kind of down in the
- 1:19Speaker 1: dumps right now, though, even even though the.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Record, welcome to the party.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Exactly exactly. I mean, the record is what it is.
- 1:25Speaker 1: This team is eight and five, there's still a top
- 1:28Speaker 1: of the nfseas, but based on what the defending Super
- 1:32Speaker 1: Bowl champs are looking like from an offensive perspective, I mean,
- 1:35Speaker 1: things are just down in the dumps here. So everything's
- 1:37Speaker 1: a mess. Poor offensive coaching, poor execution from offensive players.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So I'm wondering, Matt, how is Raiders Nation really looking
- 1:45Speaker 1: at this game as their season is essentially over? Are
- 1:49Speaker 1: they looking to play some type of spoiler role here
- 1:51Speaker 1: for the Philadelphia Eagles or perhaps maybe figure out what
- 1:54Speaker 1: they have for the future on offense and defense. What
- 1:57Speaker 1: are your thoughts here?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so I think this is you know, normally a
- 2:00Speaker 2: time of year where a lot of like Greater Nation
- 2:02Speaker 2: is kind of split between some people wanted to go
- 2:05Speaker 2: out and see them win a few games and play
- 2:06Speaker 2: spoiler yeah, which I understand as a fans never want
- 2:10Speaker 2: to root against your team, and then you know the
- 2:12Speaker 2: team people who are on team tank. But this year
- 2:14Speaker 2: it's been a little bit different. I think part of
- 2:16Speaker 2: the problem is if you go back and look at
- 2:18Speaker 2: the last three seasons since they've moved on for Derek Carr.
- 2:21Speaker 2: They've had a new starting quarterback every single year, and
- 2:24Speaker 2: Gino Smith very clearly isn't not the long term answer.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So I think this year there's a lot more people
- 2:29Speaker 2: who are just hoping they kind of mail it in
- 2:31Speaker 2: and start losing these games down the stretch so that
- 2:34Speaker 2: they can secure this number one overall pick, because if
- 2:37Speaker 2: they lose out, they will have number one overall based
- 2:40Speaker 2: on the strength schedule and whatnot. So I think there's
- 2:44Speaker 2: definitely the majority of the fan base wants to see
- 2:46Speaker 2: them lose and you know, get a shot of taking
- 2:48Speaker 2: a frinandumon Doz or Dante more and get some sort
- 2:50Speaker 2: of answer there. So I think that is does provide
- 2:53Speaker 2: some silver linings for the Eagles. I think this is
- 2:55Speaker 2: a team that definitely, you know, obviously they want to
- 2:57Speaker 2: evaluate some of these young guys, but a lot of
- 2:59Speaker 2: those guys haven't been hitting the field until recently anyway.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So I think this is a point in the year
- 3:04Speaker 2: where the majority of the fan base seems to be
- 3:06Speaker 2: on team Tank and wanting to see them lose out
- 3:09Speaker 2: for the rest of the year.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I hadn't planned on asking you this, and you know
- 3:13Speaker 1: I would I send our guests. You know the topics
- 3:15Speaker 1: we're going to dive into, But I just want to
- 3:17Speaker 1: wonder what your thoughts are with regard to the coaching,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you know, especially you know when you have you know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: a guy like Trip Kelly as well, who the Philodelphia
- 3:24Speaker 1: Eagles know all too well. What are your thoughts on
- 3:27Speaker 1: the offensive coaching specifically and how that has worked out
- 3:30Speaker 1: for Raiders Nation this year.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Well, I think part of the problem is when you
- 3:34Speaker 2: bring up the coaching, I think you have to have
- 3:36Speaker 2: to start with Pete Carroll being seventy four years old
- 3:38Speaker 2: and this team looking at this organization look like and
- 3:40Speaker 2: it's trending towards a rebuild, and Pete Carroll will be
- 3:42Speaker 2: seventy five in middle of September next year. So I
- 3:46Speaker 2: think that's kind of the one thing that's looming over
- 3:48Speaker 2: the Raiders is, Yes, Pete Carroll has a great resume
- 3:50Speaker 2: and it's only year one, but how much sense does
- 3:53Speaker 2: that makes sense with the coach that's going to be
- 3:54Speaker 2: halfway to eighty at the beginning of next year. Yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 2: And part of it, too, is part of the offensive struggles.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Brendan Carroll is the offensive line coach and that that
- 4:02Speaker 2: group as a holes regressed. You know, you look at
- 4:05Speaker 2: a guy like Jackson Powers Johnson, who they were moving around,
- 4:07Speaker 2: who was really good center. Last year they tried playing
- 4:09Speaker 2: a mcguard at one point he got injured, then they
- 4:12Speaker 2: made him earnest spot back, and it's just kind of
- 4:14Speaker 2: been a big mess. And I right tackle DJ Glaize
- 4:17Speaker 2: had a promising rookie season. He's regressed this year too,
- 4:21Speaker 2: So I think that's one of the big things that
- 4:24Speaker 2: I think a lot of people are looking at. Is one,
- 4:26Speaker 2: Pete Carroll's job security in two is he willing to
- 4:29Speaker 2: move on from the sun, which, as I can imagine
- 4:32Speaker 2: being a parent myself, like, that's not exactly something I'd
- 4:34Speaker 2: ever want to put my position I'd ever want to
- 4:36Speaker 2: be in right And one I don't think i'd ever
- 4:38Speaker 2: put myself in. So it's it's an interesting dilemma. You
- 4:41Speaker 2: brought up Chip Kelly. You know, I'll say that trip
- 4:43Speaker 2: Kelly was part of the problem. He's running a college
- 4:45Speaker 2: style offense and a lot of the things, a lot
- 4:48Speaker 2: of things that were going on were on his fault,
- 4:51Speaker 2: on his plate. But these last whatever, what's it been
- 4:55Speaker 2: three weeks since he got fired? Two three weeks since
- 4:57Speaker 2: he got fired. It's not like the Raiders offense is
- 4:59Speaker 2: out there going twenty three or even twenty points a game.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I think they've been held under uh. I think they've
- 5:04Speaker 2: been held under twenty for the last since Greg Olsen
- 5:07Speaker 2: took over. So there's a lot of things going on,
- 5:10Speaker 2: Coachy staff being one of them, and I think that'll
- 5:12Speaker 2: be the first order of business once this regular season
- 5:14Speaker 2: ends that I think a lot of people will be
- 5:16Speaker 2: looking forward to.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I just wonder at this point if Chip Kelly
- 5:19Speaker 1: is basically a cautionary tale at this point from an
- 5:21Speaker 1: NFL perspective, you know, like you said, he was running
- 5:24Speaker 1: a college style offense and it's just it just doesn't
- 5:27Speaker 1: translate over to the NFL. So anyway, that being said,
- 5:30Speaker 1: we always love on our Opposition Territory podcast to get
- 5:33Speaker 1: into the weaknesses and strength of the team that the
- 5:35Speaker 1: Eagles are playing that week. So let's dive into it here, Matt.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I mean, what is the biggest strength of this Raiders
- 5:40Speaker 1: team as we're heading into week fifteen here? If they
- 5:43Speaker 1: if there is one, My friend, yeah, I was.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Gonna say when you sent that to me, my first
- 5:48Speaker 2: reaction was, that's a tough question because they don't have
- 5:49Speaker 2: a lot of strengths, but then they don't have and
- 5:51Speaker 2: they have plenty of weaknesses, right right. I think the
- 5:54Speaker 2: one thing that you can point to as far as
- 5:56Speaker 2: like a strength is is Max Crosby is still playing
- 5:58Speaker 2: at an elite level.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah, he's you know, gone into the top tier i'd
- 6:03Speaker 2: say of run defenders at the edge position. You know,
- 6:06Speaker 2: I think he's at about twenty five twenty six tackles
- 6:09Speaker 2: for loss this year. He's already set a career high
- 6:11Speaker 2: in that market, leaving leads the league. I'm not sure
- 6:13Speaker 2: where Miles Garrett's at, but he's been wreaking havoc. He
- 6:16Speaker 2: also has nine sacks. He's not getting as much pressure
- 6:19Speaker 2: and winning quite as much as he as. We've grown
- 6:21Speaker 2: a castle too. Yeah, but that's a big, big reason
- 6:24Speaker 2: for that is getting into the weaknesses. They don't have
- 6:26Speaker 2: another pass rusher that the that opposing offensive lines really
- 6:29Speaker 2: have to account for and to take the pressure off.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So it's pretty much, you know, every game plan for
- 6:34Speaker 2: for offenses is we're going to make someone else beat
- 6:36Speaker 2: up beat us on the defensive line, and no one
- 6:38Speaker 2: else really does.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, what do you think in terms of the weakness,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I was going to say the biggest weakness of this team.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You said there's so many.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the biggest one's got to be the
- 6:49Speaker 2: offensive line, and I think that's holding that back the
- 6:52Speaker 2: offense and the team in general more than anything. I
- 6:55Speaker 2: mentioned the issues with the coaching and switching up the lineup.
- 6:58Speaker 2: On top of it, Colton Miller's been out since Week four,
- 7:01Speaker 2: which I think is they're really feeling the loss of
- 7:03Speaker 2: Stone Forsyths has taken over and he's in the past
- 7:07Speaker 2: been literally the worst offensive tackle in the NFL. And yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 2: this season has been a little bit better, but again
- 7:12Speaker 2: the bar is pretty low. They're also dealing with the
- 7:15Speaker 2: injury at Jackson Powers Johnson Jordan Meredith, who was their
- 7:19Speaker 2: starting center for the majority of the season. He's been
- 7:21Speaker 2: out the last two weeks. And then they just don't
- 7:23Speaker 2: have a ton of talent behind him. They haven't gotten
- 7:26Speaker 2: the They got better performances in the last few weeks
- 7:29Speaker 2: in the last couple of weeks from from Dylan parm Barium,
- 7:32Speaker 2: who's their left guard, and then they've gotten some encouraging
- 7:34Speaker 2: signs from from Caleb Rodgers, who made his NFL debut
- 7:37Speaker 2: two weeks ago. He was a rookie and he's the
- 7:38Speaker 2: rookie third round pick, and it looked good. So there's
- 7:41Speaker 2: trending in the right direction. But that to me is
- 7:43Speaker 2: like the biggest weakness, and especially going up against this
- 7:46Speaker 2: Eagle team that, even without Javin Carter has a pretty
- 7:48Speaker 2: strong defensive line, especially with the addition of Jalen Phillips.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That's something I think that Philadelphia can really take advantage of,
- 7:54Speaker 2: is they're going up against probably the worst offensive line
- 7:57Speaker 2: in the NFL. Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, And we're gonna get to the Eagles defense and
- 8:00Speaker 1: how they're going to be matching up against the offense
- 8:02Speaker 1: and just a little bit more in some detail. But
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know, I do wonder. You know, as I mentioned earlier,
- 8:09Speaker 1: the offense is beat We all know this. It's ongoing
- 8:12Speaker 1: storyline in the NFL. The Eagles defending Super Bowl champs.
- 8:15Speaker 1: They basically bring back the entire offense from last year,
- 8:19Speaker 1: aside from their right guard in Tyler Steen, and this
- 8:22Speaker 1: Eagles offense is just bad. It's poorly coached. They're not
- 8:26Speaker 1: executing at all. I think everybody that follows the NFL
- 8:30Speaker 1: knows this. Here. I mean Jalen Hurts is struggling, and
- 8:33Speaker 1: we saw it this past week four you know, four interceptions,
- 8:36Speaker 1: five total turnovers. I mean, the play design is absolutely horrible.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I could continue to go on and on and they
- 8:42Speaker 1: they there could be an opportunity I think for the
- 8:44Speaker 1: Raiders defense to actually show NFL football fans something this week.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And maybe that's just me being a down trodden Eagles fan.
- 8:52Speaker 1: In terms of the offense, how can the Raiders defense
- 8:56Speaker 1: really keep the Eagles offense on their toes this week?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Matt Well, I think that's gonna be one of the
- 9:01Speaker 2: biggest challenges for the Raiders. Like I said, their their
- 9:03Speaker 2: defensive line, especially at like the defensive tackle spot is
- 9:06Speaker 2: pretty weak. And that's in both phases of the game.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I mean, you go back and watch the the the
- 9:12Speaker 2: Broncos last week. Broncos came into that game struggling to
- 9:14Speaker 2: run the football ever since JK. Dobbins was injured and
- 9:17Speaker 2: then j R. J. Harvey, their rookie second round pick,
- 9:19Speaker 2: ended up having a career day because they just have
- 9:22Speaker 2: no presence in the middle. Devin White, another former Eagle.
- 9:25Speaker 2: If you look at his box score, you think Devin
- 9:27Speaker 2: White's having an All pro type of year. But then
- 9:29Speaker 2: you turn on the film when you look look up
- 9:31Speaker 2: the advanced numbers and it's it's it's it's a completely
- 9:33Speaker 2: different story. I'll tell you, I will lean towards the ladder.
- 9:37Speaker 2: You know they have two they have too. Their two linebackers,
- 9:40Speaker 2: White and a Landon Roberts are second and third mistackles
- 9:43Speaker 2: this season. Just to paint the picture for you, Yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 2: So I think the good news for the Raiders that
- 9:49Speaker 2: as far as getting right is they are getting better
- 9:51Speaker 2: cornerback play. Eric Stokes has been one of the pleasant
- 9:53Speaker 2: free ad in signings who's done a really good job
- 9:56Speaker 2: this year shutting guys down. I do think he benefits
- 9:59Speaker 2: a little bit from playing on a week unit where
- 10:01Speaker 2: teams just aren't targeting him as much. But on the
- 10:04Speaker 2: other side, Darien Porter is their third round pick who's
- 10:07Speaker 2: been getting a lot more playing time last week, and
- 10:09Speaker 2: he did he held his own last week against against
- 10:11Speaker 2: Courtland Sutton, who I think is one of the better,
- 10:14Speaker 2: better ex receivers and better, more more physical white outs
- 10:17Speaker 2: in the game. So I think that's kind of the
- 10:20Speaker 2: saving grace for if you are looking at the Raiders
- 10:23Speaker 2: where they have a chance to face a passing offense
- 10:26Speaker 2: and struggling, and they have a couple of corners that
- 10:28Speaker 2: have shown some promise. So I'll be interested to see
- 10:30Speaker 2: how that unfolds. Will be a little bit of what
- 10:33Speaker 2: gives in because again, Rais defense has not been very
- 10:36Speaker 2: good last year. To paint the picture, or to paint
- 10:38Speaker 2: the picture for you, the Broncos had the ball for
- 10:40Speaker 2: time of possession wise for nearly forty minutes last game,
- 10:43Speaker 2: so two thirds of the game when they lost the
- 10:45Speaker 2: possession because they were turning to punt back for a touchdown.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, that's about it. That's that's a state
- 10:50Speaker 2: of what the defense is like in Las Vegas.
- 10:52Speaker 1: All right, well, folks, we are going to take a
- 10:55Speaker 1: break here, but before we do, make sure you're following
- 10:57Speaker 1: Matt on the Twitter slash x out there at m

- 11:23Speaker 1: I should have you on to talk about the Penn
- 11:24Speaker 1: State linebacker situation, which is holy cow unbelievable. What's happening
- 11:28Speaker 1: with that that college football program. But as we're moving

- 11:51Speaker 1: follow on some social sites. So with that being said,
- 11:53Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break to pay some bills.
- 11:55Speaker 1: We will be back in just a bit. All right.
- 11:59Speaker 1: We are back with our our good buddy Matt Holder
- 12:01Speaker 1: from Silver and Black Pride dot Com over at SB Nation,
- 12:05Speaker 1: And as we continue to look at this upcoming matchup
- 12:09Speaker 1: between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Las Vegas Raiders, I
- 12:11Speaker 1: really wanted to dive into the how the Raiders offense
- 12:16Speaker 1: may be able to penetrate the Eagles defense. This Eagles defense,
- 12:19Speaker 1: Matt is the bright spot on this team, for God's sake.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Vic Fangio has them running on all cylinders. And I'm wondered,
- 12:26Speaker 1: is there a way that you actually can see the
- 12:28Speaker 1: Raiders offense really being able to dissect the Eagles defense
- 12:32Speaker 1: defense in any way, shape or form. What are your thoughts?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, not really, to be honest with you, I have
- 12:38Speaker 2: a lot of respect for that Eagles defense. And again,
- 12:40Speaker 2: what we've seen from the Raiders offense is literally like
- 12:43Speaker 2: the worst offense in the league. The one thing that
- 12:45Speaker 2: I am kind of interested in this broke before we
- 12:48Speaker 2: before we start, just before we started recording. Here, Kenny
- 12:51Speaker 2: Pickett's looking like he's going to be starting this week.
- 12:53Speaker 2: It's another former Eagle because Gino Smith got injured in
- 12:55Speaker 2: the last week's skiing and Pickett came in towards the
- 12:58Speaker 2: end of the game last week in the again, it
- 13:00Speaker 2: was garbage time, so take it with the grain of salt.
- 13:02Speaker 2: But he looked a lot better and a lot more functional.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I think he led two scoring drives, including that field
- 13:07Speaker 2: goal that made its rounds on the gambling social media
- 13:10Speaker 2: last week, Pete Carroll had a lot of people angry
- 13:13Speaker 2: at him for but he looked a lot more, a
- 13:15Speaker 2: lot better than I think Gino has all season, where
- 13:17Speaker 2: Pickett was stepping up in the pocket, using his legs
- 13:20Speaker 2: to help overcome some of the offensive line efficiencies, and
- 13:23Speaker 2: just being more decisive with the football. So I think
- 13:26Speaker 2: that's the one kind of silver lining I think if
- 13:29Speaker 2: you're the Raiders where you have a new quarterback that
- 13:31Speaker 2: the Eagles, I mean, I guess they know him well
- 13:32Speaker 2: because they played with them last year, but they haven't
- 13:34Speaker 2: seen him in this offense where maybe he can give
- 13:37Speaker 2: them a little bit of a spark, because he certainly
- 13:40Speaker 2: provided it last week when Gina was down and I
- 13:42Speaker 2: thought looked decent, especially for coming off the bench and
- 13:45Speaker 2: cold in that situation. Yeah, and you know, threw a
- 13:48Speaker 2: nice pass to Cedric Jackson, who was a guy that
- 13:51Speaker 2: was just called up from the practice squad and scored
- 13:53Speaker 2: his first NFL touchdown. So I'll be interesting to see
- 13:56Speaker 2: how Kenny Pickett can do. I think that's the one
- 13:58Speaker 2: kind of saving grace for this offense going into this
- 14:01Speaker 2: game is a little bit of the unknown, I'll say
- 14:03Speaker 2: with Picket, whereas we know what we were gonna get
- 14:05Speaker 2: get at with you.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know. And I wanted the next topic
- 14:09Speaker 1: I wanted to dive into, was, you know what, what
- 14:12Speaker 1: sneaky player might we need to keep our eyes on
- 14:15Speaker 1: on this Raiders team in general? Maybe maybe it is
- 14:18Speaker 1: Kenny Pickett. I don't know, Maybe you have somebody else
- 14:20Speaker 1: in mind. Because every week as we're watching these NFL games,
- 14:23Speaker 1: as you're watching the Raiders, I'm watching the Eagles, there's
- 14:25Speaker 1: always that sneaky player that that carves themselves some sort
- 14:29Speaker 1: of pivotal role within the game. So we don't have
- 14:32Speaker 1: a crystal ball, but I'm wondering, is there a sneaky
- 14:35Speaker 1: Raiders player or two that we may need to keep
- 14:37Speaker 1: our eyes on here?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll give you a couple. Both of them are rookies.
- 14:41Speaker 2: One I've talked about before, Darien Porter. Again, I think
- 14:44Speaker 2: he had He's coming off a pretty good performance last
- 14:46Speaker 2: week against Courtland. Sutton gave up I think in the
- 14:50Speaker 2: game total was targeted six times, gave up three catches
- 14:53Speaker 2: for thirty four yards, and had a couple of pvus
- 14:55Speaker 2: along the way. Yeah, and he's kind of come along.
- 14:57Speaker 2: He's caught my eye even when he was before he
- 14:59Speaker 2: was getting a ton playing time. So he's a guy
- 15:01Speaker 2: that I'm really excited to see what he can do
- 15:03Speaker 2: up against receivers like AJ Brown and Demante Smith. And
- 15:06Speaker 2: then on the other side of the ball, Jack Betch
- 15:08Speaker 2: is coming off his best, the best game of his career.
- 15:11Speaker 2: He had six targets and caught six all six of
- 15:13Speaker 2: them for fifty yards, which I know is pretty underwhelming,
- 15:16Speaker 2: but the guy hasn't really gotten much playing time this season,
- 15:19Speaker 2: and he's it's he's an interesting guy because he's been
- 15:22Speaker 2: very efficient. I think he has sixteen catches on the
- 15:24Speaker 2: year and I want to say tan have gone for
- 15:25Speaker 2: first downs. Okay, So he's another guy that I'm kind
- 15:28Speaker 2: of curious to see what he does in this final
- 15:30Speaker 2: stretch of the season, including going up against the Eagles,
- 15:33Speaker 2: who have a couple of good guys in secondary and
- 15:35Speaker 2: Quinnon Mitchell and Cooper Degen. So those are the two
- 15:38Speaker 2: guys that I'd be keeping some tabs on that might
- 15:40Speaker 2: be able to sneak off on people or sneak up
- 15:42Speaker 2: on the Eagles, Jack Betch and Darien Porter. And part
- 15:45Speaker 2: of it is they haven't played that much this season,
- 15:47Speaker 2: so it would be interesting to see how they do
- 15:48Speaker 2: and if they can they can beat a couple of
- 15:51Speaker 2: quality opponents.
- 15:52Speaker 1: And I will say for the Eagles fans who are
- 15:54Speaker 1: watching this or listening to us so on whatever podcast
- 15:57Speaker 1: platform you're on, we're going to see Raiders players who
- 15:59Speaker 1: are trying to make some sort of mark potentially for
- 16:02Speaker 1: next year. From a developmental standpoint, there are gonna be
- 16:05Speaker 1: guys on this Raiders team that want to make their mark.
- 16:08Speaker 1: So these sneaky players that Matt's talking about, we're gonna
- 16:11Speaker 1: need to keep our eyes on them for sure because they, yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 1: even they may not be you know, putting up you know,
- 16:16Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty yards in terms of receptions, you know,
- 16:19Speaker 1: they're gonna want to make their mark in some way,
- 16:21Speaker 1: shape or form. So, Matt, we always ask our opposition
- 16:25Speaker 1: territory guests every week these final two questions here about
- 16:30Speaker 1: one thing each team is gonna need to hit on
- 16:33Speaker 1: for a win this week. So let's start with the Raiders.
- 16:35Speaker 1: What's the one thing that the Raiders are gonna need
- 16:38Speaker 1: to hit on for a win this week against the
- 16:39Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it starts with the passing game. I
- 16:43Speaker 2: think one of the biggest things, like we're just talking about,
- 16:45Speaker 2: if Kenny Pickett can provide some sort of spark and
- 16:47Speaker 2: if he can get a good connection going with the
- 16:49Speaker 2: guy like Jack Betch I mean even mentioned Brock Bauers,
- 16:52Speaker 2: who's you know, one of the best tight ends in
- 16:54Speaker 2: the in the league after even after just two years.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And if he can get the ball of those guys
- 16:58Speaker 2: and feed them and have a have a good performance,
- 17:00Speaker 2: I think that's going to be the key to the
- 17:02Speaker 2: Raiders winning. And then for the Eagles, I think it's
- 17:05Speaker 2: going it's gonna have to start with running the ball.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I know they've had their struggles in that department too,
- 17:08Speaker 2: with the offensive line, and I know I'm probably not
- 17:10Speaker 2: breaking anybody any news, but again going back to what
- 17:13Speaker 2: I was talking about last week against the Broncos, Broncos
- 17:15Speaker 2: was struggling around the ball until they came into Las
- 17:17Speaker 2: Vegas and ran it right down the Raiders' throat. So
- 17:20Speaker 2: I think that's the saving grace if you're a Philadelphia fan,
- 17:23Speaker 2: where this could be a good opportunity for Squad Barkley
- 17:26Speaker 2: and the Eagles offensive line to have their get right
- 17:28Speaker 2: moment and heading in the playoffs. In this last little run.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now, if there is any way
- 17:33Speaker 1: that this Eagles offense and Saquon Barkley can get any
- 17:36Speaker 1: rushing going in the A gap, I will be absolutely astonished.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It just doesn't work this year for.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Some right, this is the week to do with this
- 17:45Speaker 2: the week.
