- 1:22Speaker 5: Were those yeo's good enough for you?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Better than the ones where you were just like off
- 1:27Speaker 3: key A little bit is real pitchy? You kept adding
- 1:30Speaker 3: to it, little ab lib No, I don't know. We
- 1:33Speaker 3: did it for a certain way. For a long time
- 1:35Speaker 3: and you're just trying to star above the rest of us.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Wait, wait, are we the wolfbag? Are we the fox
- 1:40Speaker 5: or which ones? Are we?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Both?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Were both?
- 1:42Speaker 6: Yeah, obviously we're so foxhole that we're wolf pack.
- 1:46Speaker 7: Right, absolutely, So, Wait, school it's starting for some folks today,
- 1:50Speaker 7: like orientation.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I know my eighth grader, he's got like his first day.
- 1:55Speaker 4: He's not going for a.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Full day, but he's going checking it out, getting the locker,
- 1:59Speaker 3: walking around, showing the fit off, you know, sharp sharp,
- 2:03Speaker 3: showing that drill a couple of times here and there,
- 2:06Speaker 3: showing the new shoes if you got them.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Your kids say drip.
- 2:09Speaker 4: No, I hope not.
- 2:10Speaker 6: I think that's out.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Is it out? I think so they could just hit
- 2:13Speaker 5: the third to fourth graders.
- 2:15Speaker 6: Oh oh are your kids saying drip?
- 2:19Speaker 5: Oh? Like, oh yeah, yeah, you get some drip.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I was like old Huck saying drip. I'm sure Memphis does.
- 2:24Speaker 7: I gotta tell you, I'm been really uh kind of
- 2:29Speaker 7: pleased as as pleased as you can in Baton region
- 2:32Speaker 7: traffic in the afternoon traffic recently this summer, and I'm
- 2:35Speaker 7: just like, man, it's about the end. It's about the
- 2:38Speaker 7: n Now the morning doesn't affect us because you know,
- 2:40Speaker 7: we're driving when it's the sun's not out.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a little like it's a little worse than
- 2:45Speaker 3: it currently is, but not bad at all, because you know,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I mean, what college kids actually go to a seven
- 2:52Speaker 3: am classy.
- 2:53Speaker 7: I like, I get on the Interstate, I think we're
- 2:56Speaker 7: just catching some industrial traffic headed over the bridge doing
- 2:59Speaker 7: all that.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I get, don't you know on my drive in a
- 3:02Speaker 4: lot of big trucks.
- 3:03Speaker 7: A lot of big trucks, a lot of people trying
- 3:05Speaker 7: to beat the traffic. But yeah, you know what, it's sorry,
- 3:08Speaker 7: this is I would say, the last couple of days
- 3:12Speaker 7: until the traffic starts to get real, real bad again.
- 3:15Speaker 5: I know.
- 3:15Speaker 7: My my kids start Thursday, I believe, yep, And I
- 3:19Speaker 7: would assume by next Monday, everybody gonna be headed a carpool.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Also, all the college kids coming back from out of town.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, that's always.
- 3:29Speaker 5: I'll stay over there. I'll stay over there in tigre Land.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always a hectic day, even like in the mornings,
- 3:34Speaker 3: because like initially, whenever you start a school year, everybody
- 3:38Speaker 3: goes to the morning classes and everybody's in attendee.
- 3:41Speaker 4: This is the first day, right at last four Yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 4: like them three them.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Three days at that last and then everybody's like, okay, yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 3: I'm not going to that early class every single time,
- 3:50Speaker 3: So yeah, that's coming.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It's okay though, you know what that means, more time
- 3:54Speaker 4: to listen to O TB.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Yeah, the right.
- 3:59Speaker 4: You don't get quick, so it's quick for them. I
- 4:02Speaker 4: think so.
- 4:03Speaker 5: I think so too.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And you're gonna be entertained. They're going to have some juice.
- 4:06Speaker 3: They're going to attack today with the enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's what we are really here for. We
- 4:14Speaker 5: are here to of course bring you all the sports
- 4:17Speaker 5: news that you want, obviously, but to really just make
- 4:19Speaker 5: Bat and Rey smarter. So tune in.
- 4:23Speaker 7: I hope you're stuck in traffick for like thirty minutes
- 4:25Speaker 7: you're listening to a couple of segments.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Uh, we'll be sure to say all the smart stuff
- 4:30Speaker 5: from like seven.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Thirty eight exactly. Yeah, yeah, because.
- 4:34Speaker 3: We'll save the bangers for those two have until seven
- 4:37Speaker 3: thirty save travels.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yesterday. Glad you got back.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I know you had some of my high business, so
- 4:43Speaker 3: we didn't miss you. And of course we knew you
- 4:45Speaker 3: were listening in the opening segments while we said drop
- 4:48Speaker 3: us a note in the chat, I had to give
- 4:49Speaker 3: you a hard time a.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Little bit, you know.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Did you know sometimes you're not supposed to be able
- 4:54Speaker 3: to take off in August.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I'm just saying technically.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Well, look when we when we started the job, we
- 5:02Speaker 7: we knew that every now and then a little my
- 5:05Speaker 7: high business, it's gonna have to take place.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I gotta tell you the in and out travel, fly in,
- 5:11Speaker 5: fly out one day, fly back the next.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Pretty tiring, I gotta tell you. And uh, when you're going.
- 5:17Speaker 7: I had to go to Richmond, Virginia. Yeah, not a
- 5:21Speaker 7: direct way there, No, no, not direct from Baton Rouge.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:25Speaker 7: You know what's really frustrated when you have to fly
- 5:27Speaker 7: somewhere and you gotta fly over where you're going to
- 5:30Speaker 7: get there.
- 5:31Speaker 5: It's yeah, worse. I had to like fly to Philadelphia.
- 5:33Speaker 5: I had to drive New Orleans, New Orleans, Philadelphia.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Then't even direct from New Orleans, I think, uge, no, no, no,
- 5:39Speaker 3: a foxhole, move that you're here today.
- 5:41Speaker 7: And then from Richmond, how do you go to Richmond
- 5:43Speaker 7: to Dallas? Which is frustrated again, you know wave wave
- 5:45Speaker 7: of New Orleans and my car Uh. Just frustrating, you know,
- 5:49Speaker 7: but you know, everybody, we all, we all get it.
- 5:51Speaker 7: We all live here.
- 5:52Speaker 5: I'm preaching to the choir to everybody that flies up
- 5:55Speaker 5: there for business.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah, when I was tired, when we come home from California,
- 6:00Speaker 3: we would go San Diego to Atlanta, Atlanta to Baton
- 6:05Speaker 3: Rouge because like we always flew Delta, that's who, like
- 6:08Speaker 3: we had our points and everything with Sure and so
- 6:11Speaker 3: it was like we are like really passing this up
- 6:14Speaker 3: only to come back.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Is points the greatest invention ever for a business?
- 6:19Speaker 6: Yeah, Like did you hear talking about Starbucks yesterday?
- 6:21Speaker 8: No, we were talking about Starbucks points yesterday and how
- 6:24Speaker 8: they give you free coffee all the time.
- 6:26Speaker 7: Yeah, free mugs, bags with the airline points. They don't
- 6:31Speaker 7: even really give you anything. They just like let you
- 6:33Speaker 7: do things that they make other people like, like you
- 6:35Speaker 7: get a free bag checked. It didn't cost them anything
- 6:37Speaker 7: extra at Starbucks, it cost them a little bit to
- 6:41Speaker 7: at least give you a little bit of coffee. American
- 6:45Speaker 7: Airlines that is who I fly with, and it's like, yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 7: well just you can you can sit in the exit
- 6:50Speaker 7: seat for free.
- 6:51Speaker 5: It didn't cost them anything, right, But I go out
- 6:55Speaker 5: of my way to fly with them.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Because I got the points. Yeah, and I you know,
- 6:59Speaker 7: I get a little prime already. Laying sneak in doesn't
- 7:03Speaker 7: cost him anything.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Though, Season opener, ooh you should.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Do you need to hire all of us in this
- 7:10Speaker 4: room for marketing?
- 7:12Speaker 6: We could get you.
- 7:12Speaker 4: I feel like we come up with some great ideas.
- 7:15Speaker 5: I thought we were so, well, why don't need to hire?
- 7:17Speaker 4: We're asking?
- 7:19Speaker 6: Yeah, just just hydrated the season opener last year in Vegas.
- 7:25Speaker 6: I flew flying there.
- 7:27Speaker 9: I flew Baton Rouge to Nashville to Vegas, and then
- 7:33Speaker 9: on the way back, I flew Vegas. Yes, and then
- 7:37Speaker 9: on the way back, I flew Vegas to Atlanta to
- 7:41Speaker 9: Baton Rouge. I was very mad because I took like
- 7:46Speaker 9: a five am flight and we had just lost the night.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Before, like awful.
- 7:51Speaker 8: Hanny and I were on that dang rickshaw about to
- 7:53Speaker 8: die on the interstate because a bike decided to go
- 7:57Speaker 8: on the Interstate with me and Hanny on the back.
- 8:00Speaker 4: If Hanny's grumpy, Handy's grumpy.
- 8:02Speaker 6: So then we didn't get to like where was it
- 8:04Speaker 6: Mandalay Bay?
- 8:06Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:06Speaker 6: Until late I don't know.
- 8:07Speaker 10: It was think about like most subdued guy, I know,
- 8:13Speaker 10: but like funner than anybody else, drunk mad handy madder
- 8:19Speaker 10: than anybody else. He's so calm, but when he shows
- 8:22Speaker 10: the emotion, any emotion.
- 8:24Speaker 4: It's like the best you've ever was my favorite Handy.
- 8:28Speaker 8: We got off the little rickshaw or whatever that's what
- 8:31Speaker 8: they call it, right, a rickshaw.
- 8:33Speaker 5: I don't know what.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Thing on the back. Yes, sure, I don't know, whatever,
- 8:39Speaker 6: whatever it's called.
- 8:40Speaker 9: We get off it, and Hanny's like how much the
- 8:43Speaker 9: guy was like two hundred dollars?
- 8:45Speaker 6: It was one hundred dollars a person that was like, Hannah,
- 8:48Speaker 6: you got me.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Two hundred. He was so mad, My god, what hell?
- 8:57Speaker 5: Two hundred?
- 8:58Speaker 4: I'd have been like, now you're going to catch you
- 8:59Speaker 4: in that little by It.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Took us on the interstate.
- 9:01Speaker 5: You got to negotiate that before he gets that first
- 9:03Speaker 5: pedal in.
- 9:04Speaker 7: I know, but you know you got you, like especially
- 9:09Speaker 7: over there at that stadium, they got you because there's
- 9:12Speaker 7: no way back.
- 9:13Speaker 6: Now you gotta take that little pedestrian bridge.
- 9:15Speaker 5: You gotta take the bridge, but it's a long walk.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah, and he.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Wouldn't let me go by myself.
- 9:21Speaker 3: They need to ban like all stupid flights like that too,
- 9:24Speaker 3: like you going to like all these for sec media days.
- 9:28Speaker 4: We went from Atlanta to Tampa, Tampa to New Orleans.
- 9:32Speaker 4: What in the world are we doing?
- 9:34Speaker 5: That's on the person that booked that.
- 9:35Speaker 4: I was not very happy.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Not to mention.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I was finished line of just saying, you know what,
- 9:42Speaker 3: I'll see y'all in New Orleans because I'm just going
- 9:44Speaker 3: to go book a fly but stay in the fox
- 9:46Speaker 3: Old didn't do it.
- 9:47Speaker 7: That was the dumbest book flight ever because not because
- 9:51Speaker 7: in Baton Rouge there is a flight that goes straight
- 9:53Speaker 7: to Atlanta. Obviously it goes like four places, but y'all
- 9:56Speaker 7: had to drive to New Orleans. I say y'all because
- 10:00Speaker 7: on the way there it was a direct yeah, but
- 10:02Speaker 7: on the way back, I.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Didn't go back with y'all. The Tampa to New Orleans
- 10:07Speaker 5: drove back.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Matt can see it on my face when he's like
- 10:10Speaker 4: when we started talking about it, because I knew it.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I knew it, and I didn't know it. I didn't
- 10:16Speaker 4: know it. Who in the world, what are you doing?
- 10:20Speaker 5: What in the world?
- 10:21Speaker 4: What are you doing here?
- 10:23Speaker 5: Do we blame for this?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Oh?
- 10:31Speaker 3: I am I am glad to have the whole squad
- 10:33Speaker 3: back here, back together. Yesterday's show was a lot of
- 10:37Speaker 3: fun because, like, we we have pads everywhere now, and
- 10:43Speaker 3: you and I got a chance to go out to
- 10:44Speaker 3: practice on Saturday, and so like we'll cover that. But
- 10:48Speaker 3: that was a cool experience for us to be able
- 10:50Speaker 3: to go out there. We uh, you know, we brought
- 10:52Speaker 3: our sons out there, quick practice, efficient practice. We were
- 10:57Speaker 3: giving everybody a hard time because we're like, this is
- 10:59Speaker 3: a quick practice on the history of mankind?
- 11:02Speaker 4: What are we doing here?
- 11:03Speaker 5: History of training?
- 11:04Speaker 4: We were some grandpa's out there.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Back in my day, it would have been a warm up.
- 11:10Speaker 4: There's no doubt.
- 11:11Speaker 10: Matt's like, nobody's even bleeding.
- 11:16Speaker 4: From these boys. They cramping, No, but.
- 11:18Speaker 10: For real, but for real, Like, well so today they
- 11:22Speaker 10: start full two hour padded, good good.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Hit.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Well, I mean we're meatheads and we only knew one
- 11:35Speaker 3: way to do it. They got a little bit more technology.
- 11:37Speaker 5: I gotta be honest. When I was a player, I
- 11:39Speaker 5: would have loved to have that practice.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Oh, it was a a pro practice. It was a
- 11:42Speaker 3: prot it was like you're going from nine to seven straight.
- 11:47Speaker 3: It was like a pro season practice. Yeah, not a training.
- 11:54Speaker 3: That's a fair point. That's a fair point. Saints was
- 11:57Speaker 3: the same way though, SATs, Yeah, the same way.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I'm like, y'all done.
- 12:02Speaker 5: That's because that was haters going with the Wednesday.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Jake.
- 12:07Speaker 5: What did Jake do to you?
- 12:09Speaker 4: I'm sitting there like I got there as he did.
- 12:12Speaker 5: That photo shoot.
- 12:13Speaker 4: That's true. Actually did Actually that is something I can
- 12:16Speaker 4: see you doing.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Kid, Like what it was? It a joke? It was.
- 12:21Speaker 7: It was satirical, right, I don't know, but like, can
- 12:26Speaker 7: we can we discuss this? I mean it's a long
- 12:29Speaker 7: time ago, but we can A long time ago he
- 12:32Speaker 7: had the uniform on is Yeah, I think it was
- 12:38Speaker 7: after his rookie year.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Of rookie year photo shoot. Yeah, but did it ever
- 12:43Speaker 5: come out? If it was a joke?
- 12:45Speaker 10: And that's the best part about it.
- 12:46Speaker 6: I feel like he was so serious, but everyone.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I feel like he was serious. He knew that it
- 12:52Speaker 4: was going to be so out there that people were
- 12:55Speaker 4: going to like he was.
- 12:57Speaker 8: He he was in was where he's like back popped
- 13:01Speaker 8: a little bit and like hands around the collars, so funny.
- 13:04Speaker 10: Well, he was in a he was in a win
- 13:06Speaker 10: win because he's like, I'm going to take this serious
- 13:08Speaker 10: either people are going to love it, or they're going
- 13:11Speaker 10: to assume that it was obviously a joke, like that's
- 13:13Speaker 10: a windy situation for jac is it though, Yeah, because
- 13:16Speaker 10: people are gonna be like, oh, he was obviously joking.
- 13:18Speaker 5: He was obviously having the.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Ones that they with a picture up and they're like,
- 13:22Speaker 6: not me throwing an interception.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Come on, Jake, come on ja.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Apparently whenever we sat down with him, like the entire
- 13:36Speaker 3: team kind of walk by and was talking golf with
- 13:39Speaker 3: Jay Caner, apparently like when he's done.
- 13:42Speaker 4: He'll have the option to try to go play pro.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Oh kind of good.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Can you imagine his photo shoot with his nine irons?
- 13:48Speaker 4: I don't now, Matt. I don't know what in the
- 13:50Speaker 4: world wants.
- 13:51Speaker 6: He doesn't like bind his bags.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I don't know, Like, you know, y'all's handicap and scores
- 13:58Speaker 3: and all the things, Like I understand how it works,
- 14:00Speaker 3: but like how y'all just throw him out there, like, hey,
- 14:03Speaker 3: what are you?
- 14:04Speaker 4: Plus four? It's like, okay, well, so is that what
- 14:06Speaker 4: it's Is he a plus four?
- 14:07Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 14:08Speaker 7: He's a plus four? Yeah, not a four A plus four. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 7: it's a big difference. He said, plus four.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I'm like, is that good?
- 14:16Speaker 5: You reacted like, yeah, plus four is incredible.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's what he said, and like everybody like
- 14:20Speaker 3: that walked by said something about golf to him.
- 14:24Speaker 5: So it's this is there is eleven people.
- 14:27Speaker 7: This isn't exactly how it works, but if it's like
- 14:31Speaker 7: depending on the course, like he should shoot four under basically.
- 14:36Speaker 3: That's what like he said, plus four. Nobody batter an
- 14:38Speaker 3: eye when he said it. Okay, so maybe maybe he's
- 14:43Speaker 3: got a career if he didn't win. The Saints quarterback Also, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 3: might I mean.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Just to get us like hyped and juiced up this
- 14:51Speaker 8: morning and for the season, Derek Carr last night revealed
- 14:54Speaker 8: the toughest defenses he's ever faced.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Yeah you got a video.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Yeah, video, it's gonna be get your popcorn people. We're
- 15:02Speaker 5: playing that that is going to be elect and we're
- 15:05Speaker 5: going to break it down for maybe an hour.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Well I don't know, if I don't know, if I
- 15:10Speaker 3: don't know, the cars having a juice for an hour
- 15:11Speaker 3: or worth of my time.
- 15:12Speaker 7: Those pictures were great, Like I don't know, the Canter
- 15:15Speaker 7: the Jay Canter ones, they're so good. I know you
- 15:19Speaker 7: say it's two years ago when you releases that, we needed.
- 15:23Speaker 10: Three last year, so this was his rookie year.
- 15:26Speaker 9: I mean, I feel like I saw them make an
- 15:29Speaker 9: appearance last season when where he was in.
- 15:31Speaker 7: He's got he's definitely the ones where he's grabbing his
- 15:35Speaker 7: collar and like doing that weird.
- 15:37Speaker 3: He did feel like a very like yeah, like you
- 15:41Speaker 3: felt like very sarcastic humor.
- 15:43Speaker 10: You got to respect the confidence coming in as a rookie.
- 15:47Speaker 7: That's your photo shoot and what round pick fourth fourth
- 15:53Speaker 7: coming in as a fourth round pick too.
- 15:57Speaker 4: I can see you doing this. I don't know why
- 15:59Speaker 4: you're at now.
- 16:01Speaker 5: That I'm looking at it. I kind of respect it.
- 16:04Speaker 7: I told you because the one I don't think I've
- 16:07Speaker 7: ever seen, the ones like the top left ones, the
- 16:09Speaker 7: two like close ups of his face where I can
- 16:12Speaker 7: clearly see he's being a smart ass.
- 16:16Speaker 5: So okay, I respect it now. I like him, all right,
- 16:20Speaker 5: change my opinion, change his opinion.

- 16:53Speaker 3: lay it out there for you to tell you how
- 16:54Speaker 3: wrong they were when we come back here.

- 19:03Speaker 4: All right, welcome back.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, OTB one O four five ESPN baton rouge. If
- 19:08Speaker 3: it was good enough for Luca to celebrate his one
- 19:10Speaker 3: hundred and sixty five million dollar extension, it's good enough
- 19:13Speaker 3: for OTB here.
- 19:14Speaker 4: On a Tuesday.
- 19:17Speaker 5: I don't understand the reference.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Lucas celebrated signing an extension with the Lakers by going
- 19:22Speaker 3: to BSB in Las Vegas.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Okay, cool, thanks, enjoyed the kid.
- 19:28Speaker 4: That could be like a drop, like oh my god,
- 19:30Speaker 4: we're back again, like.
- 19:31Speaker 2: This was back. I think.
- 19:35Speaker 10: Taxes yeah they are, Yeah, they're using the crap out
- 19:40Speaker 10: of that thing.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Well they should like whenever.
- 19:44Speaker 3: So Kenny Chesney just got diggd with his and I
- 19:48Speaker 3: remember and I was interviewing Kenny and we were talking
- 19:51Speaker 3: like afterwards, and he's like, man, I'm gonna be honest,
- 19:54Speaker 3: like it's got so many bells and whistles.
- 19:55Speaker 4: My show doesn't really have that many bells and whistles.
- 19:58Speaker 3: He's like, we are staying up late all the time,
- 20:01Speaker 3: like every night, getting ready for this concert, trying to
- 20:04Speaker 3: think how many things we can try to integrate into
- 20:07Speaker 3: the show that we normally don't have because you have
- 20:09Speaker 3: it available at the sphere in Las Vegas. Yeah, I
- 20:12Speaker 3: can imagine like a country concert, probably what do you
- 20:16Speaker 3: drive like after you do that?
- 20:18Speaker 2: You know?
- 20:18Speaker 4: She thinks my tractor sex and you got you know,
- 20:20Speaker 4: the John Deere out there? Like what else you do?
- 20:22Speaker 10: He does a lot of like Beachman each in the background.
- 20:26Speaker 10: But yeah, like to your point, I guess, like special
- 20:29Speaker 10: effects and stuff. Country is probably the least like live
- 20:33Speaker 10: show wise.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Question okay, answer one hundred and sixty five million, Yeah, three.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Years, hundred sixty five I think extension.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, cool. That's in the state of California.
- 20:47Speaker 7: That's eighty nine million, one hundred thousand dollars he's paying
- 20:50Speaker 7: to taxes. Yep, So that is eighty nine million dollars
- 20:54Speaker 7: less he made because he plays in La than he
- 20:57Speaker 7: would have with the Mavericks.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Yeah, think about that one.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Like, you don't have to tell me. I know I
- 21:05Speaker 4: paid it for five I just one of.
- 21:06Speaker 5: The listeners to know California sucks.
- 21:11Speaker 6: They're robbing you blind, They're robbing.
- 21:13Speaker 5: You blind people. It's fifty four, That's what I said.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I definitely may.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I guess what, I'm not even thinking about it whenever
- 21:23Speaker 3: I still think about it, whenever I hit my incentives.
- 21:26Speaker 3: My fourth year, the most hour I ever made by far,
- 21:31Speaker 3: and I remember getting everything back at the end of
- 21:34Speaker 3: the year and I actually paid like fifty one point
- 21:36Speaker 3: nine percent in and then so I paid more than
- 21:39Speaker 3: I made.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Yeah what I'm saying.
- 21:42Speaker 3: And I couldn't like I know, but I'm I couldn't
- 21:44Speaker 3: get over it. Like I was calling people like hey,
- 21:47Speaker 3: is this right? Like this is this is how it
- 21:49Speaker 3: was supposed to be. Like I was expecting it to
- 21:51Speaker 3: be like sixty forty and I was like fifty one
- 21:54Speaker 3: point nine.
- 21:55Speaker 5: It was forty before California got there.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Well, California's what thirteen and some change, like Luisi has
- 22:02Speaker 3: got high too now for for where we live and
- 22:06Speaker 3: the weather that we live in, Like we got some
- 22:08Speaker 3: high state tax too.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Now, let me get it twisted.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I think CALLI though.
- 22:14Speaker 3: This man hates California all right. Uh, training camp on Saturday,
- 22:18Speaker 3: we had a chance to go out there. My big
- 22:21Speaker 3: takeaway yesterday kind of the recap of the practice we
- 22:25Speaker 3: had a chance to go see, was Caden Durham. I
- 22:28Speaker 3: think Cayden Durham is going to be an eleven hundred
- 22:30Speaker 3: twelve hundred yard rusher. I think he's going to be
- 22:33Speaker 3: all SEC if he stays healthy. That's like my first
- 22:37Speaker 3: big football take of the year, is Caden Durham's going
- 22:40Speaker 3: to be all SEC.
- 22:42Speaker 2: He So.
- 22:45Speaker 7: I had to confirm because he had his jersey BRD.
- 22:46Speaker 7: I had to confirm that that was him, Like when
- 22:48Speaker 7: he ran, yeah passes on a play and I was like,
- 22:54Speaker 7: I'm pretty it's got to be him. He just looks
- 22:56Speaker 7: looks different. He looks the part he is. He's fast,
- 23:00Speaker 7: he's quick, but he just looks like he's a unit man.
- 23:04Speaker 7: He looks the part and excited to watch him, and
- 23:07Speaker 7: I would, uh, you know, I don't know what kind
- 23:09Speaker 7: of yardage I'm gonna put on it, but I will
- 23:12Speaker 7: say I was excited to see different run schemes. Offense
- 23:18Speaker 7: was running. You could tell that they had been working
- 23:20Speaker 7: on it. They had they had drawn up some some
- 23:22Speaker 7: different stuff. I was excited for what I saw. Now,
- 23:24Speaker 7: it was a quick practice and there wasn't there wasn't
- 23:27Speaker 7: a lot of hitting going on. But from what I saw,
- 23:30Speaker 7: it looked like it wasn't just you know, zone right,
- 23:32Speaker 7: zone left, but came down shirt certainly like looks the part.
- 23:36Speaker 7: I mean, the guy, he didn't look like, uh look
- 23:40Speaker 7: like a freshman anymore, right, the guy looks like, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 7: a guy that looks like he is uh poised to
- 23:48Speaker 7: have a very very solid year.
- 23:50Speaker 10: So for what it's worth, I was out there yesterday
- 23:53Speaker 10: and I understand they're not in full pad, so it's
- 23:56Speaker 10: kind of hard to tell, but you can kind of
- 23:57Speaker 10: tell what's a touchdown and what's not. Sixty yard forty yarder. Yesterday,
- 24:02Speaker 10: like no other running backs, Like the d line did
- 24:04Speaker 10: a really good job of like Jackson Berry bottling them
- 24:06Speaker 10: up Kamber too long one.
- 24:08Speaker 3: That's how it was the practice we went to. Like
- 24:10Speaker 3: the defense actually had a really good day of the day.
- 24:12Speaker 3: We were even made a comment about it. You're like,
- 24:15Speaker 3: until that Cayden Durham run, I think is the one
- 24:17Speaker 3: that you kind of pointed out, You're like the defense
- 24:18Speaker 3: had won to that point.
- 24:19Speaker 7: Yeah, the defense had won that day for them, especially
- 24:23Speaker 7: from the defensive back. But let me go back to
- 24:25Speaker 7: that run. Hucking Memphis learned a couple of adult words
- 24:29Speaker 7: right there on the sideline. Yeah, you know, every down
- 24:35Speaker 7: then a male human gets hit in a place that
- 24:40Speaker 7: you don't want to get hit, and sometimes you just
- 24:42Speaker 7: got to take a knee on the sideline. Well, he
- 24:45Speaker 7: took a knee right next to old hucking Memphis. They
- 24:48Speaker 7: learned a few words that day and came in right there,
- 24:53Speaker 7: and then we were like, yeah, sorry, got hitting the balls, bud.
- 24:57Speaker 5: You know it happens.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yes, yeah, I don't know that yet, kids,
- 25:02Speaker 3: but you will, but you will, it will.
- 25:05Speaker 5: It's not good.
- 25:05Speaker 7: Just sometimes you just got to take a knee. Doesn't
- 25:07Speaker 7: matter where you are. It doesn't feel good. It's unexplainable.
- 25:11Speaker 4: It was a great run though, it was a great run.
- 25:14Speaker 5: But yeah, the defense at that point, the secondary was, uh,
- 25:18Speaker 5: it was blanketed covered.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Yeah, they were.
- 25:22Speaker 7: There's a lot of really good concepts we were running
- 25:24Speaker 7: to and sure we're getting into you know, multiple days,
- 25:27Speaker 7: so the defense starts to see the same plays kind
- 25:30Speaker 7: of over and over.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I don't think the offense installed anything.
- 25:34Speaker 7: New that day, so it was probably some plays they
- 25:37Speaker 7: had seen already, but they made it hard on us
- 25:42Speaker 7: Myer andus Myer's spinning it like we would expect him to,
- 25:45Speaker 7: looks very poised, looks like he's going through all his reads.
- 25:47Speaker 7: But the defense was they had blanket coverage. They were
- 25:50Speaker 7: playing well. So I was excited watching the defense work
- 25:53Speaker 7: and the secondary work. I'll be a little bit more
- 25:56Speaker 7: excited once we get the pads on, we start seeing
- 26:00Speaker 7: the pressures and things like that, because I think up
- 26:02Speaker 7: to that point the defense hadn't really I hadn't really
- 26:04Speaker 7: seen a whole lot of pressure packages, blitz packages from
- 26:09Speaker 7: the defense. So but you know, we said, we brought
- 26:14Speaker 7: in a lot of people from the transfer portal we hit.
- 26:16Speaker 7: We did a good job on paper, but you want
- 26:18Speaker 7: to see it come to life. You want to see
- 26:21Speaker 7: it in reality. You want to see it in an
- 26:22Speaker 7: LSU helmet. All those pieces come to play, that chemistry formed,
- 26:26Speaker 7: and you know, from the very short brief extent that
- 26:29Speaker 7: we were able to see, it looks like it's headed
- 26:32Speaker 7: in a positive direction.
- 26:35Speaker 3: One position group that is going to continue to probably
- 26:39Speaker 3: get eye hustled the most I think is the interior
- 26:41Speaker 3: of the offensive line. And Tata correct me if I'm wrong,
- 26:44Speaker 3: but they've already said, hey, More's going to be the center.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Chester's going to have an opportunity to win one of
- 26:52Speaker 3: the guard jobs because and like right now, and I
- 26:55Speaker 3: do think that the defensive line is obviously in the
- 26:58Speaker 3: defensive tackle position is going to go up because you've
- 27:01Speaker 3: got true freshman from a year ago that played a ton.
- 27:03Speaker 3: They're gonna be much better this year, and we know
- 27:05Speaker 3: how talented they are from what they did in high school.
- 27:08Speaker 3: You bring in a couple of transfers that I think
- 27:11Speaker 3: a lot of people are going to know their name
- 27:12Speaker 3: pretty soon here, and they've got Kyle Williams coaching them.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Like all those things I do think play a factor.
- 27:18Speaker 3: But there's some interior defensive line that are getting in
- 27:20Speaker 3: the backfield. The first couple of days of camp is
- 27:23Speaker 3: what it sounds like.
- 27:24Speaker 10: Yeah, so you know a lot of people will talk about, hey,
- 27:27Speaker 10: one on ones when they're doing one on ones, the
- 27:29Speaker 10: old line looks really good. It's eleven on eleven. Then
- 27:33Speaker 10: you know they haven't figured out how to play as
- 27:35Speaker 10: a unit yet, which is fine. Offensive line's kind of
- 27:38Speaker 10: taking shape there yesterday Kelly said, Hey, Braylan Moore is
- 27:42Speaker 10: going to be our starting center, like he announced that.
- 27:45Speaker 10: Then he mentioned there's four guys for two guard spots,
- 27:48Speaker 10: and he said, DJ Chester, if something were to happen
- 27:51Speaker 10: in the game, is our number two center. But y'all
- 27:54Speaker 10: were out there on Saturday, you had walk on Brayden
- 27:56Speaker 10: August's working at center. Yesterday they had Paul ma being
- 28:00Speaker 10: go play in a little bit of center. To me,
- 28:01Speaker 10: that tells me DJ Chester has won that guard spot
- 28:03Speaker 10: and they want him to focus on that. He's not
- 28:06Speaker 10: working with the twos at center and he is your
- 28:08Speaker 10: backup center in a game. Sounds to me like DJ
- 28:10Speaker 10: Chester's won that spot as well. Your tackles haven't really
- 28:14Speaker 10: rotated like it's really been Weston Davis and Tyree Adams.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Yeah, on the edge, like the guards have rotated.
- 28:20Speaker 10: Like, so you're kind of if your tackles are set
- 28:22Speaker 10: in your center set Chester wins that, you're really just
- 28:25Speaker 10: waiting for Josh Thompson to solidify on the other side.
- 28:27Speaker 4: But it looks like he is.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Go back to the rotation of the backup center. Say
- 28:33Speaker 5: that again, so.
- 28:36Speaker 10: Kelly said yesterday in this press conference, DJ Chester is
- 28:39Speaker 10: our number two center, but in practice he's not wrapping
- 28:43Speaker 10: its own of center just because he played it all
- 28:45Speaker 10: last year. So like to me, that just says we
- 28:48Speaker 10: know what he can do in a game. We really
- 28:50Speaker 10: want him to win this guard spot, and we want
- 28:52Speaker 10: him to focus on that. I mean, that's just me
- 28:54Speaker 10: looking at it. Like outside view.
- 28:56Speaker 4: I did see a couple of bad gun snaps that
- 28:59Speaker 4: was Paul like moving out.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Who's moving from guard?
- 29:03Speaker 3: So he's new new Yeah, I mean last year, last
- 29:06Speaker 3: four games, I think he started guard when Delager went out.
- 29:09Speaker 5: Ye understandable.
- 29:10Speaker 7: Hey man, it looked it looked like trying like the
- 29:14Speaker 7: the I got flashbacks of training camp, of watching those
- 29:18Speaker 7: offensive linemen and some of those drills, like the run drills,
- 29:21Speaker 7: half line drills.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Just trying to snap the ball.
- 29:24Speaker 7: You're rotating a ton of guys in so some guys
- 29:27Speaker 7: got to play center and snap the ball that don't
- 29:29Speaker 7: normally do it, and they're soaking wet and they're soaking
- 29:33Speaker 7: wet from sweat and they are It's just bad snaps,
- 29:38Speaker 7: but you know it happens. But yeah, little PTSD of
- 29:41Speaker 7: just seeing centers. I used to yell at centers and
- 29:43Speaker 7: training camp because they would sit there they're already wet
- 29:44Speaker 7: because they're they're sweating, and then they get the water bottle,
- 29:47Speaker 7: they just like spray their whole body down and I'm like,
- 29:49Speaker 7: stop it, stop it. Get the ball at it's hot outside, mat,
- 29:54Speaker 7: I get it. It's not all about you, it's about
- 29:57Speaker 7: the team. And for the team to be successful, got
- 30:00Speaker 7: to have a dry ball.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Yeah. The team's also got to be standing up and
- 30:02Speaker 4: not passing out.
- 30:04Speaker 5: Okay, you may throw pick because the ball's silking wet.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Get a better grip, find up dry spot on the ball.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah right, all right, we do have a coach's pull
- 30:18Speaker 3: to kind of break down. Tell you where LSU's at,
- 30:21Speaker 3: tell you where the opponents are at as well, and
- 30:24Speaker 3: we'll get this thing started when we come back here
- 30:26Speaker 3: on OTB.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Off the bench, all right, go to pelicanroof dot com.
- 30:32Speaker 3: That is a website Repelican Roofing, and right there on
- 30:34Speaker 3: the homepagepelicanroof dot com you will see the five star reviews.
- 30:39Speaker 3: That is Yelp, that is Google, that is Facebook. The
- 30:41Speaker 3: internet just loads everything. They love Pelican Roofing. That's the
- 30:46Speaker 3: kind of job that you're going to get every single
- 30:48Speaker 3: time in Lafayette in Baton.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Rouge boots on the ground in both communities.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Obviously businesses in both communities, but always doing things in
- 30:56Speaker 3: the local community as well. One of the cool tools
- 30:59Speaker 3: is want to say about every single day the instant
- 31:01Speaker 3: roof quote. It is right there top right corner of
- 31:03Speaker 3: the website. Type in your address, at your home, at
- 31:06Speaker 3: your business. It's going to give you an idea of
- 31:08Speaker 3: what that roof replacement would cost. And also, Matthew, that's
- 31:11Speaker 3: some great financing options on the homepage as well.
- 31:13Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, a new roof is a huge decision
- 31:16Speaker 7: for your family financially and everything. They can help you
- 31:18Speaker 7: with financing with zero percent for up to twenty one
- 31:22Speaker 7: months for qualified buyers and.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Zero percent that's zero zero dollars. So go check them
- 31:26Speaker 5: out to day see what they can do for you.
- 31:28Speaker 11: Pelicanroof, dot Com, Tigers turn Talkers, this is off the bench.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Seam names.
- 32:13Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in OTV here on this Tuesday morning.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Would we say that the l s U secondary has
- 32:22Speaker 5: been in sync up to this point.
- 32:24Speaker 4: This is you know, backstree boys, but yeah, sure nailed it.
- 32:28Speaker 6: They've been larger than life. This reminds me of my
- 32:32Speaker 6: first job, six Flags all the time.
- 32:36Speaker 12: That was your first job, Yeah, honestly working at six Flags,
- 32:41Speaker 12: real job, Like I used to do like concession stands
- 32:44Speaker 12: out like the youth Baseball League thing or whatever.
- 32:46Speaker 6: But that was like when you're like twelve or whatever.
- 32:48Speaker 6: But that was like my first real actual job was
- 32:50Speaker 6: at six No, I was at the like that at
- 32:56Speaker 6: the gates, at the gates.
- 32:58Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, all right, laundra sucking anybody that tries to
- 33:01Speaker 10: get in with the faith.
- 33:03Speaker 6: It was actually terrible. It's minimum wage seven to twenty
- 33:05Speaker 6: five an hour.
- 33:06Speaker 8: But I kept it throughout the entire summer and just
- 33:08Speaker 8: like never worked because you and one other person got
- 33:11Speaker 8: into the park for free so you could does not work.
- 33:15Speaker 6: I mean I just was like, oh, I'm busy.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Oh sorry, and.
- 33:19Speaker 10: Then they see your show up to the park.
- 33:21Speaker 2: This is Sound'm busy.
- 33:23Speaker 10: I'm busy doing this.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Yeah busy.
- 33:26Speaker 2: It was hot.
- 33:26Speaker 4: H I was about to say, it's just baiting.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 33:29Speaker 6: Fourth of July was like the worst day of my life.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yeah, sounds like it feels like it. Yeah, we have
- 33:35Speaker 3: a Coach's Top twenty five poll. Okay, here goes from
- 33:40Speaker 3: number ten down to number one. Coming in at number ten.
- 33:44Speaker 3: You've got Miami coming in at number nine, the LSU
- 33:48Speaker 3: Tigers coming in number eight, Alabama at seven, Oregon, Clemson
- 33:52Speaker 3: at six, Notre Dame at five, Georgia at four, Penn
- 33:55Speaker 3: State at three, Ohio State at two, and Texas number one.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Now of teams receiving first place votes, Texas got twenty eight,
- 34:04Speaker 3: Ohio State got twenty, Penn State got fourteen, Georgia got three,
- 34:08Speaker 3: and Clemson got two. Any big surprises for anyone in
- 34:12Speaker 3: the room in the top ten, maybe me, You don't
- 34:16Speaker 3: have to raise your hand. Well, yes, Matthew, LSU had
- 34:22Speaker 3: nine is awful, But I thought LSU would be somewhere
- 34:27Speaker 3: six six seven, Yeah, five six seven, something like that
- 34:30Speaker 3: in a coach's poll.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Texas is going to lose the first game of the year, yes,
- 34:37Speaker 7: and it's to Ohio State, who they have ranked two.
- 34:39Speaker 7: So that's the biggest thing to me that sticks out
- 34:42Speaker 7: is they will lose that game. I don't have any
- 34:48Speaker 7: I feel very confident in that. I don't know about y'all,
- 34:51Speaker 7: but I feel very confident. And LSU is going to
- 34:53Speaker 7: be Clemson who's ranked wise? Are they six six yeap six,
- 34:56Speaker 7: So I would definitely flip those I thought.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Five too, by the way, you thought who I know
- 35:02Speaker 3: they're number six, but I thought they would be four.
- 35:05Speaker 10: If you look at returning production from a year ago,
- 35:07Speaker 10: like they probably should be.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Like you, you could go.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Anywhere in this city right now with one hundred people
- 35:15Speaker 3: that are gathered together and ask them who's a Notre
- 35:18Speaker 3: dame starting quarterback? And I don't know that anybody could
- 35:22Speaker 3: give it to you. It's going to be It's gonna
- 35:28Speaker 3: be car probably not related to those cars.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Who remember Michigan had coach for a long time. It's
- 35:35Speaker 4: his grandson. It's going to be the starting quarterback.
- 35:38Speaker 9: Likely Penn State at three does something to my spirit
- 35:41Speaker 9: that like, I just don't like it.
- 35:43Speaker 10: Should people just the national media loves Drew.
- 35:46Speaker 6: I understand why they did it because of Drew. Yes,
- 35:51Speaker 6: I get why they do love Drew.
- 35:53Speaker 7: It just you know, another team that most people aren't
- 35:57Speaker 7: going to be able to say the starting quarterback of
- 36:00Speaker 7: is who they got.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Ahead of l s U Number eight in Alabama.
- 36:03Speaker 4: It's true they can give you they probably names, but
- 36:06Speaker 4: they can't tell you who's going to be.
- 36:08Speaker 10: Actually, Oregon actually confuses me.
- 36:10Speaker 5: At seven.
- 36:11Speaker 10: I don't think they should be that high. Like I
- 36:13Speaker 10: love Dan Lanning. I think he's one of the best
- 36:14Speaker 10: coaches in the country. The brand new quarterback, I think
- 36:18Speaker 10: that matters.
- 36:20Speaker 3: He started the Lord games at u c l A,
- 36:21Speaker 3: which which helps compared to like, we don't know anything
- 36:26Speaker 3: about Ohio State's quarterback, about Notre Dames quarterback, really about
- 36:31Speaker 3: Georgia's quarterback outside of one game Texas. I mean we
- 36:36Speaker 3: got three stars from arch. I mean there's well, okay,
- 36:40Speaker 3: that's the story.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Life for me.
- 36:42Speaker 6: Too high too like number one.
- 36:44Speaker 5: Or Oregon doesn't bother me because I.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Would have a hot to State probably one, because there's
- 36:48Speaker 3: flair to be the man, you gotta beat the man.
- 36:52Speaker 7: Yeah, Orgon doesn't bother me because a lot, because there's
- 36:54Speaker 7: quite it's college football. There's gonna be questions everywhere because
- 36:56Speaker 7: people graduate people. It's that's the name, it's the name
- 36:59Speaker 7: of the game. So seven, like, that's just on reputation,
- 37:01Speaker 7: that's just on they're a good program, they've they've done
- 37:04Speaker 7: good with new quarterbacks coaches, But on reputation. You can't
- 37:09Speaker 7: get number one with a brand new quarterback. You can't
- 37:11Speaker 7: be and not be at least the reigning champion. So
- 37:15Speaker 7: like based on that alone, like both of these teams,
- 37:19Speaker 7: Texas and O House, they have a new person, so
- 37:21Speaker 7: it's it's a big it's still a big question mark
- 37:23Speaker 7: whether you know who the person is, whether you believe it.
- 37:26Speaker 7: So on a ranking, you gotta give it just to
- 37:29Speaker 7: the Ragning champ at that point. Well, not only matt they're.
- 37:31Speaker 4: The best offensive player and defensive player probably in the country.
- 37:34Speaker 10: Like the top two players probably if you did, if
- 37:37Speaker 10: you did a list of the top twenty, like Caleb
- 37:39Speaker 10: Downs and Jeremiah Smith are both in the top five
- 37:42Speaker 10: regardless of position.
- 37:43Speaker 4: You get CJ.
- 37:44Speaker 10: Donaldson coming in at running back, which is an underrated portal.
- 37:48Speaker 11: Ad.
- 37:48Speaker 10: I get that they lost their two guys. You're at
- 37:50Speaker 10: home against Texas. I think they win that game. Like
- 37:53Speaker 10: people aren't pointing out the fact that arch Manning is
- 37:55Speaker 10: losing the top three pass catchers from Texas a year ago,
- 37:58Speaker 10: Isaiah Bon Matthew Golden Gunner Helm, they're all gone. Like
- 38:01Speaker 10: it's more than just breaking in a new quarterback. Huh,
- 38:04Speaker 10: State's breaking in a new quarterback. A lot of talent
- 38:06Speaker 10: around him. Texas is kind of an unknown.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Texas going to be on the ground this year. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 3: Texas has two Sunday running backs. Arch you know last
- 38:14Speaker 3: year that was his package was to come in and
- 38:16Speaker 3: run the RPO stuff. He is, He's more built like
- 38:19Speaker 3: his father and not his uncles when it comes to
- 38:22Speaker 3: being able to run the football. So they are going
- 38:24Speaker 3: to be a run first football team. And I know
- 38:25Speaker 3: a lot of people here that are like, no, it's
- 38:27Speaker 3: Arch Manning. He can make the throws, but you have
- 38:30Speaker 3: to play to your strengths. And Texas strengths is going
- 38:34Speaker 3: to be their running backs and their quarterback being able
- 38:37Speaker 3: to run the football as well behind. I know they
- 38:39Speaker 3: lost a first round pack, but they still got a
- 38:41Speaker 3: good offensive line. It is going to be just like
- 38:43Speaker 3: we always talk about, everything's set up off the run
- 38:46Speaker 3: on some of these offenses that you just assume throw
- 38:48Speaker 3: the ball forty five times a game.
- 38:50Speaker 10: Well that's why Pennon State's at three.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Yeah, they got a one to two punch for sure.
- 38:56Speaker 3: They lose Tyler Warren though, and that man was a unicorn.
- 39:00Speaker 3: That man played center, tight end, quarterback, running back.
- 39:05Speaker 5: He did it all for He can't call him that anymore. Why,
- 39:08Speaker 5: Let's Travis Hunter.
- 39:09Speaker 6: That's his nickname.
- 39:10Speaker 5: That's his nickname. He gave it to himself. Jake wasn't there.
- 39:14Speaker 4: We talked about it.
- 39:15Speaker 10: He gave himself the self proclaimed nickname at a training
- 39:18Speaker 10: camp interview that he is calling himself the unicorn.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Well get yourself.
- 39:24Speaker 8: Well, you can't give yourself wanted. If you're gonna give
- 39:26Speaker 8: yourself one, it can't be unicorn.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, Matt called himself dragon Dragon. He gave it himself.
- 39:32Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 39:34Speaker 6: You still can't give yourself a nickname. Nobody who calls
- 39:39Speaker 6: you that?
- 39:40Speaker 7: A lot of people Amazon, I'm gonna start calling him
- 39:42Speaker 7: that now a lot of people call me dragon.
- 39:44Speaker 10: All of his door dash orders are like, are you dragon?
- 39:48Speaker 5: Dragon?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Me?
- 39:49Speaker 5: A lot of a lot of our friends children call
- 39:51Speaker 5: me dragon. No, they don't.
- 39:53Speaker 6: They do once they get older. You got hit him
- 39:56Speaker 6: with the drugondod when they're older.
- 40:01Speaker 3: When they're older, at least, I don't know that information.
- 40:05Speaker 3: What they call you that they called your dragon?
- 40:08Speaker 6: This Memphis out there calling no, he causing coach Matt.
- 40:11Speaker 4: He calls him coach Matt because he coached him.
- 40:13Speaker 5: In pre K coach Dragon Coach Matt.
- 40:16Speaker 9: What? No.
- 40:17Speaker 4: On that note, we'll take a break more OTB when
- 40:19Speaker 4: we come.

- 42:18Speaker 3: No, all right, welcome back in OTV one of four
- 42:24Speaker 3: five ESPN Van Rouge.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 42:27Speaker 4: I know we haven't technically got this thing started, but
- 42:30Speaker 4: we're going to at the top of the next hour.
- 42:32Speaker 4: There's a lot of people that are in the car
- 42:34Speaker 4: today that are lit a little.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Bit later, right, okay of the Tuesdays in the case
- 42:40Speaker 3: of the Tuesdays, that's right.
- 42:41Speaker 4: So like all the people are going to hear us
- 42:43Speaker 4: get it started at eight am. It's going to be glorious.
- 42:45Speaker 4: It's gonna be fantastic.
- 42:48Speaker 3: A couple of teams that we did not get to
- 42:51Speaker 3: in the Coaches Top twenty five poll, so a couple
- 42:54Speaker 3: of Lshue opponents number thirteen, South Carolina number fifteen, Ole
- 42:58Speaker 3: miss number seventeen, the Florida Gators number twenty one, Texas
- 43:04Speaker 3: A and M. What a difference a year makes for
- 43:08Speaker 3: Florida last year at this time their win total was
- 43:11Speaker 3: four and a half, and now after going eight and
- 43:14Speaker 3: five last season, keeping two teams out of Atlanta, including LSU,
- 43:19Speaker 3: they come in at number seventeen. So the expectation has
- 43:22Speaker 3: completely changed there in Gainesville.
- 43:25Speaker 7: Yeah, rightfully, So, I mean they went from who were
- 43:29Speaker 7: from Billy's not gonna be here anymore?
- 43:31Speaker 5: Like why is he here this week?
- 43:32Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 43:33Speaker 7: Pretty much last year, right, And I think everybody was
- 43:36Speaker 7: on that train. I don't think there wasn't a hot
- 43:38Speaker 7: take last year at all. There wasn't anybody that was
- 43:42Speaker 7: wrong for saying Billy Napier should be fired at some
- 43:46Speaker 7: point during that season. But what a I mean, like
- 43:52Speaker 7: one of the best turnarounds we've seen during the season
- 43:54Speaker 7: in a long time. And a lot of it has
- 43:57Speaker 7: to do with mister DJ Langway.
- 43:58Speaker 3: So obviously back to practice after his shoulder injury. You
- 44:03Speaker 3: definitely knew that.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Definitely knew he had a shoulder injury. I was on
- 44:08Speaker 5: a business trip.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Yeah, just happened. But they will go as he goes,
- 44:14Speaker 3: Oh for sure. He's just like South Carolina and LSU.
- 44:18Speaker 3: L she's really talented. They will go as far as
- 44:21Speaker 3: Garrett Nosmeyer takes them.
- 44:22Speaker 5: I think that's the world.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Now they do have a backup quarterback and vamb you're
- 44:25Speaker 3: in that did start in the SEC and then gives
- 44:28Speaker 3: you a little bit more faith than other places. But
- 44:31Speaker 3: these quarterbacks in the SEC, they are Sunday first round guys,
- 44:36Speaker 3: but more than any maybe in the conference. If Florida
- 44:40Speaker 3: doesn't have DJ Lagway, the narrative completely changes.
- 44:44Speaker 7: That's the that's the world of college football, the NIL era.
- 44:50Speaker 7: The top schools are usually going to have like one
- 44:53Speaker 7: Tier one quarterback on the roster because usually they're not
- 44:57Speaker 7: gonna have a young guy or somebody willing to stay
- 45:00Speaker 7: there to be a backup. But that's the way it goes.
- 45:03Speaker 7: But yeah, DJ Lagway, I mean made all the difference
- 45:06Speaker 7: last year.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Yep.
- 45:07Speaker 7: And yeah, you're right though Florida and South Carolina are
- 45:12Speaker 7: both in the same boat like they If something happens
- 45:16Speaker 7: either one of those guys, the season is going to
- 45:19Speaker 7: be in wreck.
- 45:20Speaker 5: So but we'll see.
- 45:22Speaker 7: But yeah, I mean want to turn around by Florida.
- 45:24Speaker 7: I expect big things from DJ. Lagway certainly passed the
- 45:27Speaker 7: eyeball test that SEC media did.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Some more teams that at some point in the show
- 45:32Speaker 3: will come back to that. Are in this top twenty
- 45:35Speaker 3: five tennessee a quarterback situation and they made a playoff
- 45:41Speaker 3: last year. They come in at eighteen. You've got a
- 45:44Speaker 3: couple of teams Michigan. We don't know who their quarterback's
- 45:47Speaker 3: going to be. They come in at number fourteen. So
- 45:50Speaker 3: we'll get back to it, and we'll also get this
- 45:52Speaker 3: thing started when we come back here. It is out
- 45:54Speaker 3: to be one of four to five ESPN Ben.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Rouge off the bench.
- 45:59Speaker 3: All right, if you are running a business in Louisiana,
- 46:03Speaker 3: then you all ready know when your printer or copier
- 46:06Speaker 3: goes down, well, your whole day, the whole business day
- 46:10Speaker 3: goes sideways. That is why you can trust Gulf Coast
- 46:13Speaker 3: Office Products, the official office equipment provider of LSU Athletics
- 46:18Speaker 3: and the go to team for businesses across Baton Rouge,
- 46:21Speaker 3: New Orleans on the North Shore in laugh Yette. No
- 46:24Speaker 3: matter what's going on, they've got you covered. You're going

- 46:49Speaker 7: to they see how they can help you in Proud
- 46:51Speaker 7: partners of LSU and the Saints gcopnet dot com
