  but there's a great time to be betting on college basketball.

  So with that said, we're going to get right back into college

  hoops for today. I have a three pack of

  conference tournament games, big 10 as well as a couple SEC

  conference tournament matchups. And as always, 3 plays.

  down big and they clawed their way back at the very end.

  So TCU came up just a little bit short.

  First one on the board for me. Let's look at a 3:30 PM Eastern

  Time game. Late afternoon, early, early

  evening. I guess it's the late afternoon,

  but this is an early 1 here and I found an angle in Texas versus

  Vanderbilt. So this is the first round of
• 5:26
  the SEC Tournament. Let's set the stage.

  Talk line, movement, bet splits, rhythm, juice, reel sharp mush

  indicators as well as of course, our friend Ken Palm.

  So going in this one, we have Texas 17 and 14 on the year.

  They are the 13 seed, but they have lost five of their last

  seven. Kind of struggled down the

  stretch. They just lost to Oklahoma 76 to

  72. They're actually a 5 1/2 point
• 5:48
  home favorite. Lost outright in their regular
• 5:50
  season finale. Meanwhile, Vandy 20 and 11 on
• 5:53
  the year, they're the 12 seed. They have dropped two straight.

  Just lost to Georgia, 79 to 68. Didn't cover as a 5 1/2 point

  Rd. dog in their final regular season game.

  So what do we see across the board here?

  Well, pretty clear line movement in favor of Vanderbilt.

  This game open to Vandy listed as a very short 1 or 1 1/2 point

  neutral site favorite. We've now seen Vandy get steamed
• 6:16
  up -1 -, 1 1/2 up to -2 -, 2 1/2.

  So pretty clear here when this open has a very short number.

  We didn't see a flood of Texas money come in.

  Drop it to a pick em. No, it's risen further toward
• 6:29
  Vanderbilt. There's also an X Factor here,

  the location of the game, which I think is a benefit to
• 6:34
  Vanderbilt. But anyway, line went to Vandy
• 6:36
  -1 -. 1 1/2 up to -2 -, 2 1/2. Bet splits look pretty good at

  DraftKings. Vanderbilt's getting 66% of
• 6:43
  spread bets, 71% of spread dollars.

  So kind of a pro And Joe Low bets, higher dollar split around
• 6:50
  2/3 of bets, but nearly three out of $4.00.

  Maybe the public is just saying, hey, give me, give me Vandy

  because they have a better record and higher seed, whereas

  wise guys said, hey, we like the value of that price.

  Maybe when this thing opened around A1 or 1 1/2 point game,

  they had it at, you know, 2 1/2 three to begin with, which is

  why they hammered Vandy early. Now our buddy Ken Palm has Vandy

  winning by one point. So you guys know the drill.

  I ain't laying A2, 2 1/2 here. See Vandy win by one or two and

  lose my bet. So I played Vandy on the money

  line and you can get him as low as -134 -, 140 right now at

  FanDuel. So kind of a cheap money line

  price. Protect ourselves from a close
• 7:28
  game that may not cover the number.

  The other thing here is Vandy open like -1 one and a half.

  So the odds makers are predicting a close game, which
• 7:35
  is why I want to go money line and pay a little more juice to
• 7:37
  protect us from a short win that may not cover bets.

  Let's look pretty good at DraftKings right now.

  Around 70% of bets and dollars on Vanderbilt on the money line.

  That just tells me kind of pro and Joe one way support in favor
• 7:49
  of Vandy winning this game. Now, our paths to victory.

  Vanderbilt really going to lean on their offense here.

  Much better offensive efficiency, 25th in the country
• 7:58
  versus 48th for Texas. Big offensive or actually not
• 8:02
  that big, but 32% versus 30% in the offensive rebound category.

  But this is the big advantage here, forcing turnovers.

  When you're on defense, can you turn the other team over?

  Well, Vandy's pretty good at that.

  They ranked 41st in the country. Texas ranks 100 and 97th.

  Now, these teams did play each other once during the regular

  season. Vandy won at home 86 to 78.

  So I'll take that. Maybe they'll, you know, convert

  some of that momentum or confidence into this one,

  hopefully today. Then the other X Factor, I

  mentioned the site of the game. So this is a neutral site game,

  but this game will be played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville,

  TN. And I was actually in Nashville

  over the fall with the wife as we went down there and got a
• 8:45
  little weekend getaway, had a lot of a lot of fun on Broadway.

  And I remember seeing that, you know, the what is it the

  Nashville Predator stadium right there.

  And actually when we were there, we got those, what are they
• 8:57
  called the Lime scooters, the mopeds, not the mopeds, but the

  scooters that are motorized. And we were kind of, you know,

  bopping and weaving and we were actually going through the

  Vanderbilt campus and I noticed that Vanderbilt campus is like

  right next to the Bridgestone Arena.

  So that being said, even though this is a neutral site game, I

  would assume you're going to get a lot of Vandy Pro Vandy support

  here because it's basically, you know, very close stone's throw

  away from their campus. Lastly, we do have rhythm

  posting Vandy -1.5. So you're kind of right there,

  you know, not quite an edge on the 2 1/2, but at least they

  have them winning the game. And then I also noticed in the

  juicer lap, you have a 25% sharp mush edge in favor of Vandy,

  basically 25% more of the winning betters on the app.

  to Texas here. So you add it all up, it's an

  Ken palm saying Vandy should win by about one or two points.

  So with that being said, let's go Vandy.

  Commodores money line. I got Vandy at -134 next one for

  you. Little bit of a late night game,

  8:30 PM Eastern Time. Let's look toward the Big 10

  tournament first round matchup between USC and Rutgers.

  So set the stage here. We have USC coming in 15 and 16
• 10:38
  on the year. They're the 14 seed.

  They've struggled a bit. They've dropped six of their
• 10:42
  last seven. They just crushed by got crushed
• 10:44
  by UCLA 90 to 63. Didn't cover as a nine and a
• 10:48
  half point Rd. dog in their final regular season game.

  Similarly, Rutgers same record 15 and 16 as well.
• 10:54
  The eleven seed, they just snapped A2 game losing skid.
• 10:56
  They beat Minnesota at home in overtime 75 to 67.

  They covered as a 5 1/2 point home favorite in their final
• 11:03
  regular season game. So what are we seeing across the

  board here? Well, this is interesting
• 11:08
  because USC opened as a very short one point neutral site
• 11:12
  favorite and the public takes one look at these teams, even
• 11:15
  though they have the same record, they just see USC having
• 11:18
  dropped six to the last 7 and that means they want to fade USC
• 11:21
  and they want to play Rutgers and Rutgers.

  Also, I think there's kind of a maybe a public bias play here
• 11:28
  because they have two players who could be top like top five
• 11:32
  draft picks in the NBA. If you haven't seen them, Ace
• 11:34
  Bailey and who is it? Dylan Harper, Ron Harper's kid,

  You know, you're getting old when you I remember watching,
• 11:40
  you know, these kids dads play. But anyway, that that's kind of
• 11:44
  the, you know, the public just latching onto 2 star freshman
• 11:48
  players and then having that bias seep in and say, oh,
• 11:50
  Rutgers, let's take Rutgers. So Long story short, you have
• 11:53
  77%, an overwhelming majority of tickets taking Rutgers, yet USC
• 12:00
  open as a one point favorite. And USC is being juiced up -1 -,
• 12:05
  115 -, 120 and up to -1 1/2 at quite a few shops.

  So let's take a step back. USC open as a favorite and has
• 12:12
  become more of a favorite even though nearly 8 out of 10 bets
• 12:15
  are going Rutgers. So again, if nearly 8 out of 10
• 12:19
  bets are on Rutgers, shouldn't this be down to a pick em?
• 12:21
  Maybe we could see Rutgers hop the fence, go from plus one to
• 12:24
  -1 no, this line has moved further toward USC, even though
• 12:28
  everybody's playing Rutgers here.

  So this just screams to me, fade the trendy dog.

  Again, we like the dogs that are gross, the the poor dogs at the
• 12:36
  pound that no one wants to adopt because they're maybe they're a
• 12:39
  little bit dirty and maybe people have given up on them.

  Although what's more depressing, I see this all the time on
• 12:44
  Instagram. Like, you know, a family moves
• 12:46
  and they get rid of their dog. Again, maybe they have reasons
• 12:48
  why, but that always breaks my heart.

  Anyway, we like to buy low on those dogs no one else likes.
• 12:53
  When you have the poodle who's pristine, perfectly manicured
• 12:57
  and washed, those are the ones we want to fade.

  The popular ones, you know, even though I think they're cute, the
• 13:02
  French Bulldogs, they've become very trendy here recently.

  I must say the best dog is a English Labrador like my pup
• 13:09
  Meadow, who by the way, is now three years old, if you can
• 13:12
  believe it. But anyway, Publix all over
• 13:15
  Rutgers, Lions going to USC tells me if you have a classic
• 13:18
  reverse line move, feed the trendy dog play to go against
• 13:21
  the public and take the sharp play with USC.
• 13:24
  Now USC, just from a contrarian standpoint, it's an 830 game.
• 13:28
  They're only getting 23% of spread bets at DraftKings.
• 13:31
  Great contrarian value, but they're also sharp with that
• 13:34
  reverse line move as well as a good bet split at both
• 13:37
  DraftKings and Circa DraftKings, only 23% of bets on the Trojans,
• 13:42
  but 51% of spread dollars. Now that circa, it's a little
• 13:46
  more lopsided toward USC, 64% of spread bets but 91% of spread
• 13:51
  dollars. So you have basically a bigger
• 13:54
  share of bets and smart money on USC out in Vegas.

  Now, Kenpom does have USC winning only by one point, so
• 14:02
  there's a money line play. For me, I was able to find USC
• 14:05
  at a very cheap -115 think that was FanDuel as well.

  Some books closer to -120 again, $0.05 may not seem like a big
• 14:13
  deal, but when you're making hundreds of or thousands of bets
• 14:16
  during a year, $0.05 tends to add up.

  So try to find that -115 if you can.

  Now, paths to victory here for USCA, lot of them are offensive.

  They'd be better offensive efficiency. 39th in the country
• 14:28
  versus 53rd for Rutgers, better defensive efficiency, 110th
• 14:32
  versus 123rd, better effective field goal percentage, 48th best
• 14:37
  in the country versus 185th for Rutgers.

  And then big advantage is 3 point shooting 37% versus 33%
• 14:45
  and free throw shooting 74% versus 72%.

  So quite a few offensive advantages for USC, hopefully
• 14:52
  their their shots fall here today.

  Also 1 little supplementary angle, a little bit of a rest

  advantage, nothing huge, but you'd have a one day rest

  advantage for USC. They last played on March 8th,
• 15:04
  Rutgers last played on March 9th.

  So it's kind of a quick turn around for Rutgers, but I want

  to buy low on USCI. Know they haven't played well

  down the stretch, but this one just really jumped out to me.

  Everyone's playing Rutgers, but we got juice movement liability

  in favor of USC. So I'm going to fade that trendy

  dog. Let's go Trojans hopefully get a

  win straight up on the money line.

  game. Let's go back to the SEC

  tournament. Oklahoma playing Georgia now

  going in this one. We have Oklahoma 19 and 12 on

  the year. They are the 14 seed in this

  tournament. They've won two straight.

  They just took down Texas 76 to 72, one outright as a 5 1/2

  point Rd. dog and their regular season finale, as you mentioned

  previously. And then you look at Georgia 20

  and 11 on the year. They're the 11 seed.

  They've won four straight, just beat Vanderbilt 7968 covered as

  a 5 1/2 point home favorite and their final game, as you

  mentioned previously. So what have we seen across the

  board here? Well, pretty clear steam in

  favor of the Bulldogs like Georgia tonight, guys, this game

  opened Georgia very short, 2 or 2 1/2 point neutral site

  favorite and wise guys have gotten down hard on the dogs go

  dogs. They open minus again -2 two and
• 16:19
  a half. They're now up to -3 1/2 and
• 16:21
  even see a couple books juiced up.

  Like who knows, they may even get up to -4 So pretty clear
• 16:26
  here that we have big steam. And steam, of course, is an
• 16:30
  overload of smart money across the entire marketplace that
• 16:33
  causes a just a market wide adjustment in a short period of
• 16:36
  time and really tells me that's just an overload, a big wave of
• 16:40
  sharp action taking a position. And it's clear that they took
• 16:43
  this position on Georgia. Now that splits look pretty good
• 16:46
  on UGA at DraftKings, 70% of spread bets, but nearly 80% of
• 16:51
  spread dollars. So again, both a pro and Joe
• 16:53
  play on Georgia. Again, I always think of it in
• 16:56
  terms of pro and Joe, like maybe they're both on the same side,
• 17:00
  but for different reasons. Like the public probably likes
• 17:02
  Georgia better record, higher seed, whereas wise guys kind of
• 17:06
  are playing their discrepancy where maybe they have Georgia
• 17:09
  favored by three or four. So when they open -2 or -2 1/2,
• 17:12
  they really hit Georgia as a value play.
• 17:15
  Now, Georgia is expected to win by two points according to Ken
• 17:19
  Palm. So you guys know the drill.

  I'm going to go money line here, protect ourselves a little bit.

  I found Georgia -162 at FanDuel. Some books are closer to -170 So
• 17:29
  again, shop around, get that best price.

  But a lot of advantages here. Knock on wood for Georgia.

  Let's rattle a few off #1 they have a better defensive
• 17:38
  efficiency, 25th in the country versus 68th for Oklahoma, better
• 17:42
  offensive rebound percentage. This is a big, big edge, 36%
• 17:46
  versus only 27% for Oklahoma. So hopefully the dogs, you know,
• 17:51
  kind of wreak some havoc, havoc on the boards.

  They have the better effective field goal percentage, 47%
• 17:57
  versus 51% in terms of sorry, limiting their opponents
• 18:02
  effective field goal percentage so that they have 25th best,
• 18:06
  basically making it difficult on their opponent to make their
• 18:08
  shots versus 174th for the Sooners.

  Georgia also has the better scoring defense to give up 69 a
• 18:13
  game versus 75 for Oklahoma and they grab more rebounds per
• 18:17
  game, 37 versus 32. So hopefully the boards both
• 18:20
  offensively and defensively are a big edge in favor of the dogs.

  These teams played each other one time during the regular
• 18:27
  season. Georgia won by 10 points at
• 18:29
  home, 72 to 62. Now our friends at Rhythm seem

  to be pretty bullish on Georgia. Rhythm has UGA -3.3, which

  again, remember this open -2 two and a half.

  So shout out to Rhythm for kind of being bullish on that line

  move before it even took place. But Long story short, we have

  Georgia with some good steam, good bet splits here.
