- 1:14And then go and get my camera. That's a lot of episodes, man
- 1:1910. 112. That's a lot.
- 1:24Let's fucking go. Not a lot.
- 1:26It's nice out here now. It's nice, Sunny.
- 1:30It's all vibes. Living the dream.
- 1:35Same old shit. Fixing your hair there bro.
- 1:42I might, you know, maybe we go back to the hat here.
- 1:45OK, mix it up, mix it up, figure it out well.
- 1:47I, I, I like to wait till we hit record before I start.
- 1:50I, you know, worried about like how I look for the audio podcast
- 1:56that we work. So question, you sent me
- 2:00picture, you won a tournament. Tell me about this tournament.
- 2:03Oh yeah, yeah. So I 'cause I'm.
- 2:06Glad you're gambling again, as weird as that sounds.
- 2:10So I'm glad you're like in the card game.
- 2:11That's good for you. Well so I went to Hollywood Park
- 2:16Casino on Saturday, which is in Inglewood, CA across the street
- 2:21from the Intuit Dome on the same lot as Sofi Stadium where the
- 2:25Rams play into a Dome where the Clippers play.
- 2:28Also the host of NBA All Star Weekend this weekend.
- 2:32So that's going on. NBA All Star Weekend across the
- 2:35street, having a watch party with a bunch of the old like
- 2:38Laker retired Lakers at the casino, $10,000 guaranteed.
- 2:45Tournament starts at 10 AM. So I drove out there, got there
- 2:50around like 8 and played in the cash game until the tournament
- 2:55was going to start. And what I like about Hollywood
- 3:00Park is seeing it because of my, my, I guess, like home room, if
- 3:04you will. My, my main my.
- 3:07Your home base. Whatever my there's probably a
- 3:11term for whatever poker room is the one that you go to, but I
- 3:17can't think, I don't know what the proper term is.
- 3:19Anyways, it's the players casino shout out in Ventura on the
- 3:25fairgrounds at Surfers point looking over the beach.
- 3:29That's what I where I usually go.
- 3:31Hollywood Park is this other one I go to.
- 3:34It's in the opposite direction. It's in LA and it the, the
- 3:38difference is Players Casino closes at 3:00 AM, Hollywood
- 3:41Parks 24/7 open and they, they adhere to like the California
- 3:46rules for drinking. So you can drink there from 6:00
- 3:49AM to 2:00 AM. And usually when I go to
- 3:52Hollywood Park, it's after the players closes.
- 3:54So almost like this is the first time I ever went to the
- 3:57Hollywood Park. And actually afterwards I went
- 3:59to the Players. So usually I go from the Players
- 4:02to Hollywood Park. So it was usually I get there
- 4:04like around like I'd say like 4 AM, 5:00 AM and and then
- 4:09eventually, you know, inevitably I'll be there at 6:00 AM when
- 4:11they open the bar back up. And then everybody's been like
- 4:14lingering, you know, like all the drunk like assholes like,
- 4:17oh, finally, so that there's this like a, this Mexicano dude
- 4:22at my table and he's got, he's got Pacificos that he's drinking
- 4:28and he's at the like head of the table got the play.
- 4:31Or I mean, at Hollywood Park, they changed it to there's only
- 4:34eight people at a table instead of usually there's 9.
- 4:38Yeah, and but it's still the tables for nine people.
- 4:42So like the seating's kind of weird.
- 4:44Like, so anyways, this guy's like at the head of the table.
- 4:47And he keeps calling. He's got a thick, like, Latino
- 4:51accent. And he keeps calling everybody
- 4:53his son. He's like my son, oh, my son.
- 4:58And he's playing like almost like every hand, like loose.
- 5:00And he's like, like, so anybody gets in hand, he's like, Oh, my
- 5:04son, my son. And then, and then he, and then
- 5:09I took like, I, I first time he played against me, I took a
- 5:11bunch of his money and he's like, he's not my son.
- 5:14But but before he said that, before he said that to me,
- 5:18there's only one black guy at the table.
- 5:20And so he had to call everybody his son.
- 5:22And then then this other black guy comes and was like, what
- 5:25about him? He points out the black guy and
- 5:26he's like, he's not my son. And everybody laughs.
- 5:29And I was like, oh, it's so funny.
- 5:31It's like racism. It's OK if it's brown on black
- 5:34people, you know. But then, and then I asked him
- 5:39who's calling, calling this like old guy who's like older than
- 5:42him, his son who's sitting next to him.
- 5:45And I was like, actually, we all were just at his, he just got a
- 5:50sex change and you're actually misgendering him.
- 5:54And it's, it's, it's actually offensive right now and you need
- 5:57to stop. So then I, so anyways, I put in
- 6:00the tournament. I actually was the chip leader
- 6:04at the Hollywood Park tournament for like almost immediately.
- 6:07I took a dude out like quickly and but about like a couple
- 6:13hours in this that that old one started at 10 AM.
- 6:16It wasn't even over till 709 people.
- 6:20I got like 26th in that one. But what happened was I had like
- 6:26you start, everybody started with.
- 6:27Did you win money? No because I forget.
- 6:33I think it was top 12/1, but you know what happened was I got
- 6:38pocket King, del pocket kings and the guy right to my left
- 6:41next to me got Del pocket aces on the same hand and I everybody
- 6:45started with 20,000 chips for $100 and then if you we wanted
- 6:50to add on 25,000 more so more than 20 for $100 more you could.
- 6:56So tournament one O 1 you buy as many chips as you possibly can.
- 7:02So I had 45,000 chips to start. I was like I had over.
- 7:07You know I had over 90,000 chips, but the pocket kings
- 7:11pocket aces hand. I I got them all in pre flop
- 7:1537,000 chips and he won. So that like kind of like
- 7:19brought me back to like the average chip stack, not the
- 7:24average. It brought me back to like my
- 7:25buy in, but it was already late in the tournaments.
- 7:28The blinds were up and then I basically just grinding like
- 7:31short stacked for like the next two hours until I just couldn't
- 7:35do it anymore. So so anyways, so I go home, but
- 7:42I like felt good, like I was playing really good.
- 7:44It was just like this, like, you know, it's like you have to be
- 7:46good and lucky in these tournaments.
- 7:47And then I woke up on Sunday and I was like the players has
- 7:51Sunday tournaments and it was 11 AM and their starts at noon.
- 7:55So I drove out there, it's like 30 minutes away, late
- 7:58registrations for an hour. I got there like maybe 15
- 8:00minutes past the start time. They open up a new table when I
- 8:06get there of like people were like late registered and I just
- 8:10start dealing or not dealing. I mean getting dealt in a good
- 8:14way. And that one was 64 people prize
- 8:19pool 9450 dollars and except for with this one starts at noon
- 8:27time expire or like the tournament no matter what if if
- 8:32it's not over like already it it's over at 5:00 and so with
- 8:40ours that's what happened. So at 5:00, there was 6 people
- 8:47left. However, before we knew that it
- 8:52was going to run out of time, it was set to only pay 6 people,
- 8:58right? So only six people are going to
- 8:59make the money. But then once the final table
- 9:02was 10 people, once it got to the final table, we decided that
- 9:07places 7th through 10th would get their buying back.
- 9:12Everybody, all ten of us agreed on that, you know, and then, but
- 9:18then so basically then four people got knocked out from the
- 9:22final table and then the tournament ended because it was
- 9:245 O clock. Six of us left and what they did
- 9:27was, based on your chip count at the table, went and then took
- 9:33the prize money and then divvied it up.
- 9:38Would you walk with? So I bought in for $190.00 and I
- 9:43got a 1185 dollars almost exactly $1000 profit.
- 9:48Yeah, it's totally worth it. Yeah.
- 9:51Oh yeah? Well, good shape.
- 9:52Yeah. And I realized, you know, it's
- 9:53like it feels like I've been playing a lot of poker or like
- 9:56I've been wanting to like go after these tournaments.
- 9:58It was like only the fifth tournament that I've played like
- 10:00since, you know, this run and it's and it's completely up on
- 10:04tournaments now, you know, like as far as money.
- 10:07Yeah, you're doing really good. Let me know whenever you want to
- 10:10pay me back that thousand you owe me.
- 10:13You mean the the bet? Yeah, the bet the Peach pit.
- 10:16I know. Never forget.
- 10:19My God, trust me, it haunts me. We had to reschedule from last
- 10:26night. I'm, I'm curious though, so you
- 10:30went out and you did some. We don't have to get into that,
- 10:32but we were talking off air about it and you were talking
- 10:35about, which is interesting. I've never thought about it this
- 10:38way because you know, you're obviously, you know, you drink
- 10:41monsters at night, but you're sober.
- 10:43So you're not drinking drinking or anything?
- 10:45I I actually stopped drinking monsters.
- 10:47I had this leftover and I just saw it in the fridge when I went
- 10:49to go grab a water so I grabbed. It Sometimes it's good,
- 10:52sometimes a monster is good. It.
- 10:53It is, yeah. Yeah, if it's once in a while.
- 10:56Yeah, like not all the time, but you were talking about how like,
- 10:59'cause you're not drinking, but you've been like in the dating
- 11:02game, doing your thing, the eating of edibles as opposed to
- 11:07drinking. Now what I am curious about that
- 11:10is, I mean, obviously, like, so do you feel like that's a good
- 11:17replacement? Like could like do you, do you
- 11:20enjoy it just as much? No, no, I'll take away all like
- 11:23the crazy stuff. But do you enjoy it just as much
- 11:26as like if you were going out for drinks?
- 11:28Does it, does it normally? Do you normally have issues
- 11:32whenever you're out getting if you're on edibles and someone's
- 11:35getting drinks? Never actually done that before
- 11:37like. Gone like to be honest, like I
- 11:40that's it's not like to like what I was saying was like it
- 11:44it's more of a go to on a like first date.
- 11:50OK, just because it like the the getting loose part type type of
- 11:56it like, but it's like I don't mind going out like without
- 12:00taking edibles, but they are not.
- 12:02And to answer your questions like you, they're not really
- 12:04like it's not it's not like it couldn't be a replacement
- 12:07because like for me at least, I mean, I think this applies to
- 12:10everybody. And when I like the way that I
- 12:13feel like the knowledge I have on edibles just to me is just
- 12:16like common sense if you done them enough, people look at me
- 12:19like I'm a fucking like crack addict.
- 12:21Like when I like just like tell them, you know, it's like that.
- 12:24You know, your tolerance builds up and like eventually you're
- 12:28taking like 500 milligrams and you're like barely feeling it
- 12:31like within a week or two and 500 milligrams you'd like go to
- 12:35the hospital. It's like, I understand that.
- 12:37Like it could feel like that, but it will.
- 12:41Trust me, you like you'll just. Well, that's what people would
- 12:44do. So I'd have friends from like
- 12:46Austin or something come up and visit or be in Denver and go to
- 12:51a dispensary. Stupidest shit ever.
- 12:54Because you would see people go off the deep end and they're not
- 12:59used to it. So somebody would go buy a weed
- 13:02soda and drink it and be like incapacitated.
- 13:07You're like, no dude, like what do you?
- 13:09It's 1000 milligram soda and you're like, you're visiting
- 13:13from College Station. Like what are you talking about?
- 13:15This is going to like tear your ass up when I went out.
- 13:17Like you would have to build up a tolerance to it.
- 13:20I've just never like, I guess I've just never done this, you
- 13:23know? Well, my point is that so then
- 13:25if you are using like like I couldn't like let's say that I
- 13:30was going out all the time, like doing edibles every time, like I
- 13:36wouldn't, it's just not, I wouldn't do that.
- 13:39So it's the same. I think how I treat edibles is
- 13:42like how everybody should treat every other drug and include
- 13:45like especially myself. It's just like in moderation, in
- 13:49moderation, like, you know, it's like here and there, like on a
- 13:52special occasion, you know, like or at home to relax, like but
- 13:56don't you know, don't take it too far.
- 13:57They're scary, you know? But it's like, it's like the
- 14:01edibles have the least amount of like actual consequences other
- 14:05than like freaking out. Yeah, I feel like you can freak
- 14:08out more, right? Except for except for, I treat
- 14:11them with the most care. Like any any any wild like crash
- 14:16out I've ever seen would be like some it's been like normally
- 14:20somebody who's on edibles or was it would be someone on
- 14:25mushrooms, but I've seen people like eat.
- 14:27Their menstrual cycle. Suppose.
- 14:31I was just, I was just telling someone how we used to only have
- 14:34like 6% female audience and I was over 20 and, and.
- 14:40Definitely your charm and your wit.
- 14:42And then I hit him with that, I hit him.
- 14:45With that joke, yeah. Yeah, now, yeah, but definitely
- 14:48people that have been on edibles I've seen do some pretty wild
- 14:52crazy shit 'cause if it hits you, you don't really know how
- 14:55it's going to hit you. So if it does hit you.
- 14:57Yeah, but edibles are like the panic attacks of of drugs, like
- 15:01where it feels like you might die but you're not going.
- 15:04To Oh, yeah, I mean, those are most of the time when someone's
- 15:07eating edibles and you see like the police phone calls or
- 15:10they're like freaking out or they think they're dead or
- 15:13something like that, that's always because they ate some
- 15:15like gummies or some shit. But yeah, people go off the off
- 15:19the deep. End and I'm not saying that that
- 15:20can't happen, but I'm saying, let's say that you didn't go off
- 15:24like, like, let's just say that you ate them again the next day
- 15:27and the next day and the next day.
- 15:29Eventually and quickly you're going to be realizing that
- 15:33you're, you're on my 1000 LB friend on, you know, TLC because
- 15:41you ate, you're eating so many edibles that you became fat.
- 15:44I, I literally got fat on edibles because I, I, I swear to
- 15:48God, because, or I'm, I should say, maintain my fatness because
- 15:51I quit drinking at this at I first, when I first tried to
- 15:56quit drinking was during the height of the pandemic, summer
- 15:592020. And I quit for like 6 months.
- 16:03But within that six months I was eating, I switched to like
- 16:06edibles and like I said, your tolerance goes up.
- 16:08So, and I was getting so many reward points because he
- 16:11dispensed me saying out reward points like a motherfucker.
- 16:13And when I was, and my girlfriend at the time also quit
- 16:16drinking. She was eating edibles.
- 16:17So I was buying for her at the same time.
- 16:18So I'd be getting like 200 bucks of free shit every time I went
- 16:22to go buy shit and couple months ago by dude and I'm like how
- 16:27come I haven't lost any fucking weight?
- 16:29I used to drink like 2500 calories of IP as a day and then
- 16:33I looked at the fucking edible like gummies that I've been
- 16:37eating and I was I was consuming 2000 calories of of of gummies a
- 16:43day. Damn, that's a lot.
- 16:46So then. So I switched to the gel pills.
- 16:51OK, I mean, that's, I mean, actually that that is an option
- 16:57like that is what I'll do now. I, I never do any gums.
- 16:59I either do a beverage cause 'cause it's like, yeah, dude, I,
- 17:03I could drink a Mountain Dew with THC in it.
- 17:05Cool. That's what I did last time.
- 17:08It's called an Alpine Alpine spring.
- 17:11And it's like you're not your dad's.
- 17:15It's called not your, not your father's soda.
- 17:17And it's like, and they also have a root pair.
- 17:18It's like not your dad's soda or something.
- 17:19You're not your father. Yeah, I think I've seen that.
- 17:21I've seen that. Yeah.
- 17:24Like I've had somebody who freaked out on that.
- 17:26And then there's the Pabst Blue Ribbons out here.
- 17:29I found out like it's the guy who owned.
- 17:32Like I guess PBR is like a family owned.
- 17:34PBR makes a THD soda. Yeah, and how it happened was
- 17:39that's wild. The owner of PBR, his niece, his
- 17:42niece and nephew pitched them on the idea, and they're the ones
- 17:46who run it. They were like over at my
- 17:48dispensary recently. That's crazy.
- 17:52Oh, I'm sure. But I.
- 17:53Mean, I mean, they're like different flavors.
- 17:54They're like seltzers, but it's like, I mean, I only had like.
- 17:57Yeah, there's some places out here in Texas that do that.
- 17:59Now. They're like, we have THC sodas
- 18:02and I'm like no. Or THC beers.
- 18:05I'm like, no, I'm good. And there's THC coffee, all that
- 18:09stuff. You know, to each their own,
- 18:10but. We've had that for a while, like
- 18:12when I was 19, my pledge bro shout out Paul, his dad, the
- 18:17Razar AKA that's big black Dick in Spanish.
- 18:20He used to be a DJ. Shout out the Gator with the
- 18:22heater, the boss with the hot sauce.
- 18:24You say it, I'll play it. He had an old timey coke machine
- 18:29and for $0.10 you can get a vanilla toke and it was THC
- 18:34vanilla coke. Like in a bottle like this is
- 18:36like 2006. I thought this dude was like, I
- 18:39was like, dude. Who are you?
- 18:44Blue Mountain mine, He had a volcano.
- 18:46The vaporizer. Oh, I remember the volcanoes.
- 18:49Like what? Before it came out, he had that
- 18:51bootleg. He had those bootleg snacks,
- 18:53dude. Yeah, you, you know the, the
- 18:55cupcake with the green. 2000 snacks.
- 18:58The greenery explodes. To it, Yeah.
- 19:04Glitter shoots on your mouth for filling.
- 19:07You don't know baby? Yeah, you're saying baby D You
- 19:10don't know baby D? We were actually doing that at
- 19:13the table. That's so funny.
- 19:15These two guys at the table, Rodney and he's like you and I
- 19:19was like I was like they kept on saying that you don't know you
- 19:21act and then I and then I just came from across everybody go
- 19:23you acting like you know, but you don't know.
- 19:27All right, You want to go into therapy Questions.
- 19:29Yeah, let's go. Oh.
- 19:31Joseph wondered. Oh, you does that we all you
- 19:33want to talk about was the edibles that part of it.
- 19:36Well, yeah. I mean, well, you you went on a
- 19:37date last night and you said you took some edibles.
- 19:40So I was just curious. But then you were bringing it
- 19:42when you were talking about it. The point of you doing that, I
- 19:45never even thought about like doing that or what that would be
- 19:48like. And just in you not drinking and
- 19:51going out with people that are drinking and being on edibles.
- 19:55Yeah. To me, it's like it's not like a
- 19:56a necessity. It's just like I could do that.
- 20:00Yeah, Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, because like if I was
- 20:03going to like, yeah, depending on what it was.
- 20:05Yeah, but but I was telling Joseph that like, I, I, I like,
- 20:10I had like, I was like witnessing myself.
- 20:13Like I have a complete like, like meltdown.
- 20:16It's like, it's like watching like like before.
- 20:19He just won the Super Bowl. What's his name?
- 20:21The quarterback? Sam Darnold.
- 20:25So Sam Darnold. Yeah.
- 20:26Like Sam Darnold back in the day, like he like, just like
- 20:29melting down. Like in the, like, in a game
- 20:31where it's just like you could just like you just, you just, or
- 20:35like Jared Goff, like throwing 4 picks or something like that.
- 20:38Like, like, and you just knew like the fourth woman was coming
- 20:40after, you know, like that's like, like he couldn't stop
- 20:44himself. He's like, I'm just going to do
- 20:46it. I'm just letting you know.
- 20:47Like that's what I felt like I was doing.
- 20:50Kirk. Cousins meltdown he had a.
- 20:51Cousins meltdown like like like leading up to this, like things
- 20:56were smooth sailing. This is the second day and like
- 21:03no reason like for were there not to be 1/3 date.
- 21:07You know what I'm saying? Like, like the, like the third
- 21:12day was probably like was already like probably locked in
- 21:17as long as like, you know, I didn't fuck it up or something,
- 21:19you know, and nothing weird happened.
- 21:22And when I bought it, when I got to my car at the parking lot and
- 21:25set up my car, I was new 100%. No third debt was coming my way.
- 21:31And it was. That was confirmed this morning
- 21:33via text. Yeah.
- 21:36But like I, I almost texted her last night.
- 21:42I don't know what that was. And I don't blame you if you
- 21:45don't want to talk to me anymore.
- 21:46And I'm telling you, like it. It's not like she said anything
- 21:49or like, like if you, you know, if you were just like looking or
- 21:53watching the date from afar, it's not like you would have
- 21:54noticed like anything bad happened or anything.
- 21:57But I could just like, like just, I was just all over the
- 22:02place. There was this cardboard boat.
- 22:04Cardboard boat just float. Just sailing like you're you
- 22:08might, you're you. Huck and Jim are on your way to
- 22:13Jackson Island on that raft you built and like, you ain't making
- 22:16it through the storm. Do you?
- 22:17Like it's no way. Like, no you're not.
- 22:20Was not locked in like just whoa, whoa.
- 22:24It's like we were there for 2 1/2 hours and like didn't get
- 22:29food to like, you know, we were probably into the third hour and
- 22:33it and it was like a chicken quesadilla that we split.
- 22:36Like we're just, I mean, the whole thing was just bad.
- 22:39And I'm the one who picked the place.
- 22:41Like basically like I picked the place.
- 22:42And then I, you know, I just kind of with my hubris assumed
- 22:46like everything would just take care of the rest.
- 22:47But like no game plan. You know, I didn't know if we
- 22:51were going there for dinner or not.
- 22:53Even you were, you know, you were five and O had a good
- 22:56couple weeks. You got the bye week coming up
- 22:59the next. Week.
- 23:00And you and you thought you, you went into this game going into
- 23:04the bye week like I, we got this in the bag and you got, got, you
- 23:08got, got in the fourth quarter. You know, it was, you know,
- 23:11yeah, it was. I was looking at the end zone or
- 23:14I, I was looking at my next move and then somebody came over and
- 23:17stripped me from behind, you know, there.
- 23:22You go. There you go.
- 23:25Or, or it was a trap game. You know, I was looking ahead to
- 23:27next week. Yeah.
- 23:29So we yeah, yeah, looking. Forward-looking to the by.
- 23:32We're five and O, and now you're going to the by 5:00 and 1:00.
- 23:34It was a trap game too, because, you know, it was like supposed
- 23:36to be like a short date, like it was already predetermined.
- 23:38Like there wasn't like any like, you know, I have to worry about,
- 23:40like, you know, she wants to come back to my place.
- 23:44They were like, I already knew that that wasn't on the table.
- 23:46So it was just low stakes low. No, fumbled, fumbled hard.
- 23:55And watch myself do it. Couldn't even get my.
- 23:56Couldn't get out of my own way. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:00Your Kirk Cousins pressing. Right, like, like the previous
- 24:03situations that I've been in the dating like, like I get like
- 24:06fucking weirded out and like and like hurt and like blah, blah,
- 24:09blah, because it's like I, I think things are going good and
- 24:12then like I get rug pulled this, you know, in, in, in different
- 24:16ways. And so it's surprising each way.
- 24:19This one, I deserved it. You know, that was a bad game.
- 24:23That was a bad game. Well, I'm sorry to hear that.
- 24:30That's fine. So let's get into these therapy
- 24:32questions. OK.
- 24:35Let's do it. Therapy question #1 Would you
- 24:41rather be called racist because you can't tell the difference
- 24:46between different types of Asians, or would you rather be
- 24:51called racist because you can perfectly tell the difference
- 24:56between different types of Asians?
- 24:59I guess the latter one 'cause then at least I'd be able to
- 25:03like. Identify knowledge.
- 25:04Yeah, I would have knowledge and there'd be a whole, There'd be
- 25:08tons of communities that would appreciate that.
- 25:10Totally, I actually. Yeah.
- 25:13Kind of sounds weird. It sounds weird.
- 25:16I don't know if it sounds weird, but first time I've ever sang
- 25:19this, but like I OK, I was a kid, but old enough to remember
- 25:30when I realized that there was a way to like tell between like
- 25:34someone into Korean who's Korean or Vietnamese or, you know, like
- 25:39to me, it never that never even crossed my mind.
- 25:42Just like I have Filipino cousins and my, our buddy Sean
- 25:46came and visited me when I was on vacation in Newport Beach.
- 25:50And there my cousins were over there and I told them those were
- 25:53my cousins. And like an hour later I
- 25:55realized like he thought I was joking when I said that.
- 25:59And I'm like, what? And it didn't occur to me that
- 26:01they don't look anything like they look Filipino, not like me.
- 26:05But to me, they were just like my cousins and just never
- 26:07crossed my mind. Same thing with the Asians.
- 26:09It's like I just thought Asians were, you know, it's like all
- 26:13Asians. There's no, there's no way that
- 26:16you would be able to tell like where they were from.
- 26:19And once I, yeah, I figured that out, I, I realized like, well,
- 26:23then it would be like a yeah, it's like you're, it's like a
- 26:27worldly sophisticated thing. If you were able to discern that
- 26:31and you're like, yeah, you're an ignorant, like asshole.
- 26:34If you're just like, you know, like, you know, like just just
- 26:37put your hands up. You're like up.
- 26:38Can't tell. No idea.
- 26:41Can't. That'd be shitty.
- 26:43Like that'd be douchey. And then if people were making
- 26:46fun of you because of that, then they'd just be mad that like
- 26:49you. Yeah.
- 26:49What I. Was trying to say was like so
- 26:52now I'm actively trying to hone those skills.
- 26:56But but by actively I mean like I think about it sometimes.
- 27:03I don't know. That's not bad, you're just
- 27:06trying to be more inclusive. Right.
- 27:09Yeah, like, yeah, but definitely would rather.
- 27:11Be able to tell the Asian. Culture.
- 27:13So that's saying do you want to be able to tell the difference
- 27:17between them or do you want to walk around saying Asian people
- 27:20look the same? That's basically what this
- 27:22question is, if anybody would pick the first one.
- 27:26That is the stupidest shit ever. Like there's no like that.
- 27:30That would be racist, right? As opposed to like being able to
- 27:36tell the anybody calling you racist would probably be racist
- 27:39and fall into that first category.
- 27:41They'd probably be like, no, you can't tell.
- 27:43Like he would argue the point that he'd be arguing and then
- 27:46you'd be right every time. So imagine being that guy
- 27:49arguing with your friend who can tell the difference between
- 27:53different Asian ethnicity. Mongolian bitch.
- 27:57Yeah. And then like he's like, Nah,
- 27:59bro, you're wrong. You.
- 28:00Don't know. What you're talking about?
- 28:02And then they'll like, yo, actually he's right.
- 28:04Like, oh, your friend's actually 100% correct.
- 28:07Like that would be so defeating you again to keep having that
- 28:10battle. Chechnya, that's how.
- 28:13It's how. How many times would somebody
- 28:15have to do that for you to just be like, believe them and not
- 28:21question them, right? Twice.
- 28:25Yeah, right. Like it would be like and
- 28:28depending on if it was like, yeah, like Chechnyan or
- 28:31something, that would be that, that would I would just once.
- 28:36Depending on geographically, it could just be once.
- 28:38No, no, I would need another one 'cause he might just know
- 28:41Chechnyans real well. Now you, now you hit me with
- 28:45like a. You hit me with a.
- 28:47If somebody walked up and like, oh, you're from Azerbaijan, I'd
- 28:50be like, what? And they were like, yeah,
- 28:51actually I am. And they just like, gassed that
- 28:53out, Like pulled that out of a hat.
- 28:55I'd be like, that's wild. Is that Asia?
- 29:00Eastern Europe. I'm just saying that, OK?
- 29:02The stands. The stands are Asia OK.
- 29:05It's it's a cusper. So if you could pull that out of
- 29:09a hat and just pick somebody out or and then does that mean that
- 29:13if they were like half, if they were like half Russian, half
- 29:17Chinese, would they be able to tell and be like, you're half
- 29:20this half a then that'd be wild. Did you would have a?
- 29:22Whole as a type of Asian, you would have a whole half Asian.
- 29:25You'd have you'd be like, you could move over there and just
- 29:27be like your own 23andMe and just like tell people what they
- 29:31are. You people just line up.
- 29:33He'd be on Mari like that. He'd just be bringing.
- 29:37You would be Mari. He's bringing people.
- 29:39Out and and who's Mari's wife? Who's Mari's wife?
- 29:43Connie Chung. Oh yeah, it is.
- 29:47Shout out Mari. Chinese.
- 29:48Chinese. I think that's Aussies.
- 29:52I think, I don't know. That's awesome.
- 29:54That's the other, that's the other part of this is you can
- 29:57tell by the last name or, or or their profession, you know, dry
- 30:03cleaner Donuts. But in this?
- 30:05It's I know that was OK. I know that sounds really
- 30:07racist, but like there is like that.
- 30:09Like it's not that racist when you think about like that.
- 30:12There's like diasporas that come to the country and it's like, if
- 30:16like like so and so's like families in the, in the dry
- 30:21cleaning business like they can get like once you get over here,
- 30:24they can help you get like started 'cause they know how to
- 30:25do it. And that's how that's why
- 30:27there's like certain ethnicities who like run certain certain
- 30:32like industries, you know, that make me racist for pointing out
- 30:37that Vietnamese like, like to make Donuts.
- 30:40I was just Jesus. I was just.
- 30:42Kind. Of I was just going to say that
- 30:44I in this scenario I feel like it's all off visual so you'd
- 30:48just be able to tell. By looking at.
- 30:50Them I know, I know the. Other one is saying that you
- 30:52can't. Right.
- 30:54No, I'm saying in IRL homie, that the other, the other way to
- 31:00be to be more of a metropolitan type dude is to be able to know
- 31:06that. I can tell the difference
- 31:09between Asian men. I'm so metropolitan.
- 31:12Get out of here. What to?
- 31:14Be more like me dude. Like I like a global elite.
- 31:18So what is Metropolitan to you? Nice cars, nice house, you know,
- 31:23worldly in his music is. Literally chocolate, strawberry,
- 31:26and vanilla ice cream. No, it's Neapolitan.
- 31:31Discerning between different. Asians.
- 31:33My you know my point. My whole point is this.
- 31:35Like the last name Park is Korean and the last name Hong is
- 31:39Chinese and and. No, I know.
- 31:42OK. So that's like that's something
- 31:44else that you could be like. It doesn't take very much like.
- 31:48But such a random specific thing just to throw in and like as an
- 31:53adjective of somebody what just the telling.
- 31:56The difference between Asians like that just makes me laugh.
- 32:00The world lay into music, Knows his wines, his fine cuisines,
- 32:05keeps up with the global markets and understands the economic
- 32:09trade routes. Definitely can discern between
- 32:13different Asians. Perfectly, yeah.
- 32:16Plays four instruments. He is the metropolitan man.
- 32:22He could tell if you're Nepalese, yeah, or Japanese.
- 32:28That'd just be, that'd just be wild.
- 32:30You'd be like that. I can't remember his name, but
- 32:33he was the con man who used to do cold reading of the room.
- 32:36And he'd be like, oh, like someone's grandma's here.
- 32:40And it says that they there was a fire, something about fire,
- 32:44something about a cabin. Like we had a cabin.
- 32:48No, there's a Long Island medium.
- 32:50No, there's somebody who did that before and he was like
- 32:52huge. South Park made a video, a whole
- 32:56episode making fun of him. Can't remember what his name
- 32:58was, but he used to do that shit.
- 33:01He'd be like that, but we're just picking people out.
- 33:06Cambodian, everyone's just like, oh shit, that's incredible.
- 33:10Was that James van Praa? No, I.
- 33:15Don't know. It's, I can't remember what it
- 33:18was called. OK, hold on one second.
- 33:21Because Tyler, the Hollywood medium is what Google says is
- 33:26the most famous medium, which is crazy.
- 33:33Do you believe in mediums, Joseph?
- 33:38Joseph's too busy. No, I don't.
- 33:40I don't. I don't necessarily work.
- 33:41We need to get like a fucking intern dude, I'm telling you.
- 33:44John Edward. That was his name.
- 33:46John, Edward. Rogan has like he can have some
- 33:51lady pull up stuff whenever he wants to Google things.
- 33:55Yeah, well, we got to incorporate 1/3.
- 33:58No, we get an intern dude, give him college credit and then they
- 34:03can also clip farm our shit. All right, whatever.
- 34:10There be question #2 would you rather every time someone gets
- 34:16killed in war you get $5 and you have to brag about it on social
- 34:23media about how it's your best side gig?
- 34:26Or every time someone dies from cancer at your local hospital,
- 34:31you have to perform a karaoke rendition of Shake It Off by
- 34:37Taylor Swift, Taylor's version outside the building.
- 34:47They're both terrible. I guess it's I would just make a
- 34:51satirical account and just get the 5 bucks cause the other one
- 34:57is like I'm I'm. Gonna be, you know, it has to be
- 34:59you, Joseph Huggins. If you had social media.
- 35:02Oh. I do, I do, I mean a.
- 35:04Couple why are you pro? I've enjoyed.
- 35:07Like yo, we've been giving you updates on Joseph's social media
- 35:10struggles. He's been prolonged banned now.
- 35:13I'm just, no, I just haven't done anything.
- 35:16I'm just five and. You haven't.
- 35:18You haven't what? You just accepted it this time.
- 35:21You just laid over and took it this time.
- 35:24I'm just not really. I mean, it's what, 180 days or
- 35:27some shit? Oh.
- 35:28You have to so to like you can like try to get it reversed, but
- 35:32I mean I think. Wait, So what I'm saying is, is
- 35:35this one different? No, it's just.
- 35:39Normally like you're. Just not fighting it this time.
- 35:41I'm just like, don't really give a shit right now.
- 35:43It's kind of been, honestly. Joseph.
- 35:46OK for the audience. Joseph keeps getting like.
- 35:48Since October. Sam reported and so then his
- 35:51account gets banned off of Meta and then he says hey, I didn't
- 35:56do anything wrong. And then they check and they say
- 35:58sorry and they let him back on and I know.
- 36:00Since October. Right.
- 36:02I know this because Joseph's like account would just
- 36:05disappear here and there and usually it's gone for like a day
- 36:10or two and then it's back up. This has been a week.
- 36:13Yeah, it's well, because I've just kind of liked not having to
- 36:16deal with it, to be honest, because it's, I mean, like it's
- 36:21obviously going to continue this person or whatever, whoever's
- 36:24been doing this is extremely dedicated.
- 36:27And honestly, I was like, I've there's certain back doors to
- 36:30things. Like I said last episode, I'm
- 36:32working on some other stuff, so I got other stuff I'm just
- 36:35really been enjoying. Out of all great out of you and
- 36:38I on this podcast, if I were to somebody asked me to make a bet
- 36:43on who would have some random anonymous person spam reporting
- 36:50us like one of us to like just to get us like kicked off of
- 36:54social media because they were mad at us, I would think it
- 36:57would be me. Yeah, I mean, people are goofy
- 37:02and also like I, like I said, I made the mistakes of like, you
- 37:06know, I should have a long time ago, just created a separate
- 37:10thing and left my personal as my personal.
- 37:13Then I've kind of intermingled them.
- 37:14So I mean it is what it is and not that I post anything like
- 37:18super offensive, I barely even post.
- 37:20I just. You always, always, always do
- 37:22this. You always go back to defending
- 37:24what your, what your. Social.
- 37:26Media presence is, and it's like I thought.
- 37:28I'm not trying to, I'm not trying to defend it.
- 37:30I'm just saying I all I do is would really do is send memes to
- 37:34everybody and doom scroll on memes and reels all the time.
- 37:38So for me, it's been nice to not be doing that.
- 37:41Like I've been, I've been like. So it's been a nice break in the
- 37:43sense that like when I have downtime, I'm not just
- 37:46necessarily sitting there just scrolling through like stupid
- 37:50fucking reels all the time because I, I realized how much I
- 37:53was actually doing that. Whenever I stopped doing it, I
- 37:58was like, oh shit, I got, you know, you get some report and
- 38:00it's like, oh, this is your phone usage and like what apps
- 38:04you're using. And it's like my phone usage
- 38:06dropped crazy. I was like, holy shit, I was
- 38:09doing that way too much. My phone usage is such like a
- 38:14microcosm of explanation of my entire life where like there's
- 38:21zero pattern to it. Like I saw it like because you
- 38:25know, you'll get the pop up at the end of the week and it'll
- 38:28give you like the average. Yeah, because I don't like go
- 38:33and like monitor it myself. I don't really give a shit.
- 38:36But some not, like sometimes I play online poker on my phone
- 38:40and and I'm not like constantly playing online poker, you know,
- 38:43like I'll go through like, you know, a couple of runs, like,
- 38:45you know, sporadically. So that's so like sometimes it's
- 38:49like your average was like 12 hours a day or 13 hours a day.
- 38:54And it's, you know, that sounds like somebody's like addicted to
- 38:56their phone, which is me playing poker.
- 38:59The last one I saw, though, my average for the whole week
- 39:03average 3 hours. Like, that's nothing.
- 39:08Yeah. And you know what I hate though?
- 39:12Back in when I was Pullman, I'll be using Waze a lot and they
- 39:16count Waze as like, I think a screen time.
- 39:20So it's like, dude, I'm like, I have my directions open, you
- 39:23know? Yeah, that's done.
- 39:24Yeah, you're defeating the purpose here.
- 39:27But doing Shake It Off, yeah, I mean, I guess you would have.
- 39:31They're both terrible, but at least I forgot.
- 39:33The part where I forgot, the part where then Taylor Susie for
- 39:36for a copyright infringement. Yeah, but every time someone
- 39:38dies of cancer you have to sing outside of the building.
- 39:41Like that would be terrible. And who knows, maybe this would
- 39:44bring attention to the hospital and the doctors would step it up
- 39:46unless they're like, we can't have another cancer patient.
- 39:49Yeah, there's another talking to.
- 39:50Come here. We.
- 39:50Have to stop him. How many cancer patients?
- 39:53I guess probably a lot. Not because cancer is just
- 39:57cancer and people are just going to die in general from it So
- 40:04well, it's. Just it's questions.
- 40:10Therapy question #3 would you rather every time you see a
- 40:15pregnant lady you have to play her stomach like the bongos or
- 40:21anytime you see someone with a mental disability you have to
- 40:25copy it? Definitely the first one.
- 40:29What? Be like boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 40:31Like I'm not you're hitting her, you're not playing it.
- 40:33Just be some cringy thing you always do that people be like,
- 40:37oh God, he's about to go play her.
- 40:39Stomach, I guess. I guess I didn't think about it.
- 40:41The other one is like is making fun of somebody with a
- 40:44disability, like anytime you see somebody.
- 40:48Hey, hey, you know what imitation?
- 40:53Imitation is the highest form of lottery.
- 40:55That would be terrible because it, it doesn't matter where you
- 40:58are, what you're doing, you have to mimic it.
- 41:01It could be at like a family funeral, second cousin's there
- 41:05and you have to imitate like your second cousin, like get out
- 41:08of here. And I would I would argue that
- 41:10being a a pet or ass is a mental disability and I don't mimicking
- 41:16that. Fuck that, You know what I'm
- 41:17saying? Like being a murderer.
- 41:20A serial killer is a mental disability.
- 41:22You're going to mimic a serial killer?
- 41:23I don't know about that either. It gets dicey, you know what I'm
- 41:29saying? Yeah, I just thought it wouldn't
- 41:31make want to make fun of people with a disability that's just.
- 41:33No, I agree. But I, I guess I didn't think
- 41:36until this point that everybody kind of has like a green or like
- 41:43a pass to touch a pregnant woman's stomach, at least for a
- 41:47second kind of right. More, more than like a like you
- 41:51don't. Nobody has the past to just
- 41:52touch a random woman's stomach unless they're pregnant.
- 41:55I should, you know what I'm saying?
- 41:56I'm not saying that you just can.
- 41:58My point is that like, it's no, no, no.
- 42:00My point is that it's not as crazy as it would be just
- 42:04touching like someone's stomach in general.
- 42:07But. When I wrote that, I was
- 42:09thinking, that's how I was like thinking.
- 42:11But it's like, actually you could kind of get away with it.
- 42:13Be like, oh, you know, it's like, like you could get away
- 42:16with a quick bongo here. Just it just don't be like, you
- 42:21know, going to like any like fucking baby showers or.
- 42:24Yeah, I mean, people, I think the people around you would
- 42:26notice you do this cringey thing where you got to pretend like
- 42:29you're playing the bongos on a pregnant woman's stomach would.
- 42:32People notice that because. Yes, if you do.
- 42:34It more around OK, but you have to be around somebody enough to
- 42:37where they're around more than two pregnant people.
- 42:42Well, yeah, but let's say, let's say.
- 42:45You know you wouldn't be if you if you went to two baby showers,
- 42:49people would pick up, but the same groups of people there,
- 42:52people would pick. Up if I knew that I had like,
- 42:55Tourette's for the bongos with the with the pregnant lady, the
- 42:58baby. The baby?
- 42:59Yeah. The uterus.
- 43:00Bongos. That's a That's a Jesus, but
- 43:03that's a good episode titled Baby Bongos.
- 43:11Then I would, I would avoid probably like, you know,
- 43:14anything to do, like gender reveal parties.
- 43:16Yeah, showers. You're not.
- 43:19Going to I guess breast is after the pregnancy.
- 43:22Like you don't want you could be doing anything at any given time
- 43:25and one of them is like cringey and weird and playing bongos on
- 43:29the stomach. The other one is making fun of
- 43:31the disabled person you're saying.
- 43:34What if you you parlayed it so women who don't know they're
- 43:39pregnant, but they are? You're going to hit the bongos
- 43:43and now, now your early pregnancy test, you beat the six
- 43:48weeks in Texas. And you can tell them if their
- 43:50baby's going to be Asian or not. Cambodian bitch, let's go there.
- 43:58You go boom. Cambodian baby.
- 44:03You're making money, you're making money.
- 44:06Cambodian breast milk and Cambodian baby bongos.
- 44:16Good Lord, that's. Breast milk, you made my day.
- 44:22Hey, biotherapy question, Therapy question #4 Would you
- 44:29rather every apology require a written form or every compliment
- 44:37require a witness? Every apology require a written
- 44:43form because like a compliment require a witness.
- 44:52Like OK, so yeah, like yeah, you did say that you didn't give him
- 44:56that call. But no, a form being like Nah,
- 44:58bro. Like we talked about this shit.
- 45:00I apologize. You forgave me.
- 45:02This is a form. You don't get to bring this shit
- 45:04up like 10 years later on some dumb shit 100%.
- 45:08I just don't have that many of those issues and I've got there
- 45:12I can specifically. What are you gonna do?
- 45:14Like with a a, like somebody's walking or like, yeah, I was
- 45:17there where they said you were cute.
- 45:18That's what that's weird. No very compliment.
- 45:22I remember being like when I got that situation when this guy
- 45:24said he was gonna shoot me and then I challenged him and he
- 45:26actually didn't have a gun, that whole thing.
- 45:28And I guess that was the crazy situation.
- 45:29And then the next day I was walking through my condo and
- 45:32this guy was like, hey, were you that guy outside?
- 45:34And he had witnessed the whole thing from his second story
- 45:36window and he was like, I was telling my girlfriend like, this
- 45:39guy's a bad ass. And and I was like, thank you.
- 45:42And he goes, no, I'm talking about you.
- 45:43And I was like, I know, thank you.
- 45:45But like that moment like that, somebody actually saw it.
- 45:47And I like, like wasn't crazy. It wasn't, you know, he was
- 45:50giving me a compliment. But I'm saying like, I don't
- 45:53know, dude. Or like a compliment you get
- 45:55from like a hot chick, like, you know, and then you're and then
- 45:58you're, you don't have to, you don't have to brag your homie
- 46:01about it. You're like, see, he told you,
- 46:03you know what I'm saying? These are like, I don't know,
- 46:08I'm going with that one. Because then also nobody can
- 46:14give you a compliment without a witness.
- 46:16So that means that everybody's going to have like a third
- 46:18wheel. So everything's every day.
- 46:20It's a double date now. Now you're going to have to let
- 46:23that compliment marinate and it's going to get into your
- 46:26subconscious while we're waiting to get a witness.
- 46:29No apology you. Didn't.
- 46:30For him is is better because then if somebody says you didn't
- 46:33apologize for something and you did, then you also have
- 46:35something that says that you did well.
- 46:37That's that's fine, that's fine. Guess what?
- 46:38I'll apologize again if you think I didn't, however, And
- 46:41then if you apologize to me, I'm accepting that apologies.
- 46:44I don't need anything written because guess what?
- 46:47I'm a human being. Well, I don't need somebody to
- 46:50hear my compliments. Oh, I do, because to help, I'm a
- 46:53human being with the ego that needs to be stroked.
- 46:57Yeah. I'm not saying it needs to be,
- 47:00I'm just saying what's better than a compliment?
- 47:02Somebody witnessing it too. He's.
- 47:04Like cats? So I real, I just realized that
- 47:13because you don't have Instagram right now, you don't know this,
- 47:17but I released a acoustic cover of Sexy Can I by Ray J on
- 47:26Instagram. IG Reels tagged Ray J in it and
- 47:30slid into his DMS. And now that I thought about it,
- 47:39if you listen to the audio, you just heard 60 seconds of that
- 47:42song in the intro. Now I have to do that or I have
- 47:49to cut that part out. Either way, I just made work
- 47:51for. My damn 60 seconds.
- 47:53You play 60 seconds of the song. Yeah, in the in the intro.
- 47:58Yeah, it's a long intro. It's a minute I've I did, I
- 48:05started with 30 and then it's it's just got too complicated.
- 48:08I'm just 60 is perfect. Alright, you do you man.
- 48:15Do you need a break or do you want to get into articles you
- 48:17want? To just do it real quick break.
- 48:19May we can break real quick. We will be back here in a
- 48:21second. Now we're back.
- 48:36OK, Joseph. We're getting into the articles.
- 48:42Let me move this. Give me one second.
- 48:50OK. All right, first article.
- 48:55Let me pull it up, make sure it's correct.
- 49:00Boom. This is by NPR.
- 49:02Zuckerberg grilled at Meta Strategy about Meta strategy to
- 49:06target teens and tweens. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was
- 49:11clearly getting testy. That's not what I'm saying at
- 49:14all, said the tech billionaire. I think you're misunderstanding
- 49:17what I'm saying, he responded. You're mischaracterizing what
- 49:21I'm saying, He shot back. The executive was testifying on
- 49:25Wednesday before a jury in Los Angeles in a marquee social
- 49:28media trial accusing Mehta of deliberately, deliberately
- 49:31designing features of Instagram to addict children.
- 49:35And the legal term for, and the legal term the family was
- 49:39intended on, showing that Zuckerberg's fingerprints were
- 49:43all over the company's big decisions.
- 49:45Mark Lanier, a Texas trial lawyer and pastor with the
- 49:48folksy courtroom demeanor, directed Zuckerberg's attention
- 49:52to a 2020 internal Meta document showing that 11 year olds or
- 49:56four times more likely to keep coming back to Facebook compared
- 50:00to older users. Instagram's minimum age for
- 50:03signing up is 13. People who join Facebook at 11
- 50:07years old, said Lanier said to Zuckerberg.
- 50:09I thought y'all didn't have any of those, which is pretty crazy
- 50:13to think about that you could be 11 and join Facebook.
- 50:18You had to be in college whenever it started.
- 50:22Right. And I have a college e-mail.
- 50:25Yeah, college e-mail. They loosen that, but I don't
- 50:29think it's that like, I think it's not.
- 50:32I mean, I don't know. I just knew that that was the
- 50:35case. Obviously, no.
- 50:36I mean, I know that's just like. Because it was such a big deal
- 50:39that Australia is banning social media for 16 and under.
- 50:41And you know, so if what's, you know, what was the ban if it
- 50:46wasn't nothing? Yeah, Zuckerberg didn't admit
- 50:52that many users lie about their age to get on Instagram.
- 50:55Enforcing age limit rules, he said, can be very difficult.
- 50:58OK, stop right there. Stop right there.
- 51:00OK, fuck you. Fuck you, Zuckerberg.
- 51:03You have a volcano. A cache volcano of advertising
- 51:08money that you just print every day because of your targeting
- 51:11Advertising is so fucking good that you're the only game in
- 51:15town is there you and you know, whatever, YouTube, Google and
- 51:19Amazon, whatever the fuck. But the point is is they know
- 51:22exactly what do you mean? Like I thought about getting a
- 51:24gold chain once, like, and all of a sudden, like gold chain ads
- 51:29are popping up. Like they don't know how old I
- 51:31am. Like get the fuck out of here.
- 51:32They don't know if I'm lying. Like they know everything about
- 51:35me. They know exactly who you are.
- 51:37They know every different type of Asian.
- 51:41So like my point, you know, like, so like the fact that like
- 51:45that they're like, oh, these 12 year olds are too smart for us.
- 51:47Shut the fuck up, Zuckerberg. Yeah, Lanier argued that not
- 51:51only did Instagram know their users were under 13, but they
- 51:55aggressively sought the to recruit them to their platform.
- 51:58One Meta document from 2015 showed an estimate of 30% of 10
- 52:03to 12 year olds in the US were using Instagram.
- 52:06The company had a goal to increase the time 10 year olds
- 52:10spend on Instagram, another document showed.
- 52:13I don't remember the context of this e-mail from more than 10
- 52:16years ago, he said. I think that I think the way we
- 52:20to build things is to build useful services for people to
- 52:24connect with their family, friends and learn about the
- 52:27world. When 2018 internal meta
- 52:29documents stated if we're going to be win big with teens, we
- 52:32must bring them in as tweens, Linear later Linear pointed out
- 52:37saying that undercut Meta's own policy.
- 52:41The legal team representing the plaintiff to 20 year old
- 52:44California woman known in the courtroom as Kaylee attempted to
- 52:47demonstrate that the top top down goal of Meadow was to
- 52:51encourage has always been to encourage users to get on their
- 52:55platforms as young as possible and once there, to figure out
- 52:58ways to keep them around. Often features like beauty
- 53:01filters may the more alluring Veneer argued.
- 53:05I mean, I wouldn't disagree. I mean.
- 53:07That's yeah, it's like, it's like they're they're probably
- 53:09targeting ads at 10 year olds, like with like fucking like blue
- 53:13yeah, Roblox and they're like, but we didn't know they were,
- 53:16they were 10. We just like.
- 53:17Like Fortnite ads, like what do you mean?
- 53:19I didn't know that they were you could they could buy V bucks on
- 53:24through their phone on like an app.
- 53:26Like Sky, like Sky Zone ads like for their birthday party, like
- 53:30on their birthday, Urban Air, their 10th birthday.
- 53:33Yeah. Have your birthday in Urban Air?
- 53:37Are you about to turn 10? I didn't know that.
- 53:40Like had it here. Under questioning in the court,
- 53:43the billionaire Facebook founder responded, wait, hold on.
- 53:46The company hired experts, affirmed that such appearance
- 53:49enhancing filters contributed to body image issues among young
- 53:52girls. Totally agree.
- 53:54Sucker would not dispense with the filter tools, calling it
- 53:57calling, getting rid of them, paternal, paternalistic.
- 54:04Under questioning in court, the billionaire Facebook founder
- 54:06responded. We will.
- 54:07What we allow was letting people use those filters if they
- 54:11wanted, but not but deciding not to recommend them to people.
- 54:16So that was the balance we came to, to let people express
- 54:18themselves the way that they want.
- 54:24It sounds full of shit. Yeah, it's bullshit.
- 54:27It just, it costs them money to have to fucking like, do it.
- 54:30And so they don't want to do it. And well, OK, first of all, the,
- 54:33the the money is negligible for that.
- 54:35They think if they wanted to do it, they could do it.
- 54:37That's not even it. It's more that it costs them
- 54:39money by kicking these people off because they get money for
- 54:44having more users and being able to advertise towards, you know,
- 54:47to these kids. That's what they want.
- 54:49As many people on the fucking thing as they, you know, that's
- 54:51what it is. Like these are you.
- 54:54Come on man, Come on. Yeah, it's a portfolio of people
- 54:57they command. Yeah dude like like like I was
- 54:59telling somebody the other day like whenever shout out Ukraine
- 55:04also Bangladesh is like a moved into the top six countries.
- 55:08I don't know what's going on in we might need to make a trip out
- 55:10to Bangladesh. I I could tell what type of
- 55:12people you are if like you were up like in a line up of Asians,
- 55:17but I was saying somebody about Ukraine and how like we could
- 55:20like I could look up like where in Ukraine people are listening.
- 55:24It was just like down the front lines.
- 55:26So they're like all like and it's like, this is way too
- 55:28specific. It's like, so the data that
- 55:30these companies have on us is so specific.
- 55:33So like that the fact that they just can't figure it out is
- 55:36dumb. Yeah, it's just like it's so
- 55:40choosing they're. Choosing not to figure.
- 55:41It out. It's disingenuous, yeah.
- 55:43Yeah, they're choosing not to. Like I said, it's a big catalog
- 55:46of people that they can sell to advertisers, right?
- 55:50That's it. It's like the more people on the
- 55:52platform, the bigger the phone book.
- 55:54And then those people get older and so you want to lock them in
- 55:58as, you know, it's like, why do I have a Facebook right now?
- 56:01It's because I made one when I was, you know, a freshman in
- 56:03college, the second year that it was around.
- 56:06And you know, it's like like I, I've like, like I know a lot of
- 56:13people just stop using Facebook. It's like, I would still like
- 56:15check it maybe like once a day for some reason, like memories
- 56:18or something. But I've like even gotten out of
- 56:20that habit now. Now it's just like they're
- 56:23connected to my Instagram. Yeah, on their 1600 other
- 56:30plaintiffs, the appearance of Zuckerberg, the star
- 56:33Stuckerberg, the star witness of the trial came in the second
- 56:36week, what's expected to be a six week proceeding.
- 56:38Other tech executives, social media specialists, addiction
- 56:42experts and others have also been slated to testify.
- 56:46Kaylee, the plaintiff is expected to deliver the most
- 56:49emotional testimony later in the trial.
- 56:52The lawsuit lawsuit came claims she began using social media at
- 56:56six, including YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and Tiktok and
- 57:01Snap. After becoming hooked on the
- 57:03platform, she said her body images, her body image issues,
- 57:07depression and suicidal thoughts worsened.
- 57:10The suit points to features like body filters, infinite scroll,
- 57:15autoplay as being tantamount to the to a digital casino.
- 57:21Six years old. Your kids on Instagram at six
- 57:25years old? That's wild.
- 57:28Yeah, I don't even get the need for that.
- 57:32I don't like like like like. I used to be like, like, get
- 57:37like make fun of people because they seemed like in what's the
- 57:45word, not capable of keeping their children off of like a
- 57:48screen, you know, But then, but then I realized that, you know,
- 57:52it's like, I've never had a kid. So that's probably pretty hard
- 57:54nowadays, but keeping them off of Instagram doesn't seem that
- 57:58hard. It's like you could pick
- 58:00something else, you know, like give them solitaire or
- 58:05Minesweeper. Because like if you think about
- 58:09it, like the screen time I had was probably just as much as
- 58:11these kids. It was just like a big. 2000,
- 58:13baby. Yeah, that's all it is.
- 58:15It's a room. It's just a computer.
- 58:17But even your computer room time was limited.
- 58:19Yeah, but well, I don't know, I also mean limited by like dial
- 58:24up Internet, but like not like not because my parents wanted to
- 58:29limit it like they like I'm they put like a computer in each one
- 58:32of our rooms as soon as they could.
- 58:34No, I know that. I'm just saying it was
- 58:37definitely more monitored than it would be now because now
- 58:41they're just like, here's. My phone, take my phone, Yeah,
- 58:43yeah. And just the fact that the phone
- 58:44is the size that it is and the has the processing power that it
- 58:49does nowadays and the capabilities that it has
- 58:50nowadays, yeah, you could just put it in your hands to get
- 58:54right to your fucking face, you know?
- 58:56And if your kids got like an iPad or anything like that, like
- 58:59they don't need you, if they know how to work Roblox, they
- 59:03know how to make a Instagram account.
- 59:07Yeah, and also you've just, you know, given a portal to like
- 59:12pedophiles into into your your lives.
- 59:17Well, especially with Roblox, that's what that's what I'm
- 59:19saying, yeah. Roblox.
- 59:20Roblox is. And then if you if you listen to
- 59:22the motherfucking CEO of Roblox, like try to like, you know, like
- 59:28paint that turd gold, like it's just like, Jesus Christ,
- 59:31whatever that what is the what is the term that I was just
- 59:36trying to say? It's like a Polish that turd,
- 59:38Polish that turd, paint them Guild that Lily.
- 59:41I like that. I like that though.
- 59:43Paint that turd gold. That's pretty good.
- 59:45That's pretty. Good.
- 59:46That's like a such a that was like a mash up of 1000 things
- 59:49like a mash up of like slugs, like when life gives you lemons,
- 59:52paint that shit gold to, you know, Polish that turd to Guild
- 59:57that Lily. I just mashed those three up and
- 1:00:00that's, that's how my, that's how my brain works there.
- 1:00:01Paint. Why you over there painting
- 1:00:03turds gold though? That's nasty.
- 1:00:07I take that outside. But yeah, the Roblox CEO, he's
- 1:00:12like basically like there's he's like, oh, shit's safe.
- 1:00:15Like we don't have any issues. It's like what?
- 1:00:18But there's, yeah, there's like no incentivization for the old
- 1:00:22Zuck to not do this because everything he does is.
- 1:00:26Well, he was like decentifies to do it because of Trump.
- 1:00:28Like, first, you know, met because they went hard on Trump,
- 1:00:30kicked him off and then and then Trump got back in power and
- 1:00:34then, like sued him. And it was like such, you know,
- 1:00:37and then started, like you said he was going to put him in jail.
- 1:00:40Like for, you know, it's like. And yeah, so he's like, so
- 1:00:44basically he's like, we tried to do the right thing, you know,
- 1:00:47like, even though it was like not good for their bottom line.
- 1:00:52And then look at that, you know, this is the thanks I get.
- 1:00:55He's like somebody, you know, so fuck it, you know?
- 1:01:00Well, and he saw the influx of people go to, he saw that people
- 1:01:04were like, yeah, X and they're moderating systems and the free
- 1:01:08speech. And he started to copy that.
- 1:01:10So what? So like, whatever.
- 1:01:12Whatever had to do it, he thought, he thought like the
- 1:01:14the, the the public would want him to regulate this stuff.
- 1:01:19And then he ordered the government and he realized that
- 1:01:22Trump doesn't give a shit and it's better for the.
- 1:01:27Trump is going to throw them in jail.
- 1:01:30Right. So it's better for the money to,
- 1:01:32you know, also to let this shit happen.
- 1:01:34So he's like, so yeah, so you're right.
- 1:01:37All the incentives are on one side of this fucking equation,
- 1:01:40except for the fact that you're going to destroy society.
- 1:01:44And what's the point of having all this money if if you live in
- 1:01:46a shithole country? Well, then if there's there's a
- 1:01:49pendulum swing, like he's just, he just goes with whatever
- 1:01:51direction the wind's blowing. That's it.
- 1:01:55He's like, it's robotic. Weird synth humanoid where he's
- 1:02:00like because I guarantee you. So let's say they.
- 1:02:02Like, he's amoral at best. And so that so yeah, he's not
- 1:02:07making like decisions on what's, like he thinks is right.
- 1:02:11The ethical thing. Yeah.
- 1:02:13Because he doesn't whatever the concept of being, you know,
- 1:02:16what's right is like, you know, he's a fucking sociopath.
- 1:02:19Like it's basically what's going to make the company money and
- 1:02:23then and then that's the starting point and then it's
- 1:02:26like, okay, then what do I have to do, you know?
- 1:02:29To yeah, no, definitely. Yeah, to appease people so I can
- 1:02:33continue to make money. And if I don't have to do it,
- 1:02:35then I definitely won't have. Then I won't.
- 1:02:36Yeah, exactly. That's where it's like all these
- 1:02:39the oil companies are like, Oh yeah, like, OK, we'll be more
- 1:02:43mindful of the planet because we have to be.
- 1:02:45And then we're just throwing out regulations.
- 1:02:46They're like, oh, fuck yeah, it's just more money.
- 1:02:48Like they don't get. Just like, yeah, it's just like
- 1:02:50the Voting Rights Act. As soon as you know, it's like,
- 1:02:51oh, we get rid of the Voting Rights Rights Act now because
- 1:02:54you know, it's all, you know, it's 2026, you know, race system
- 1:02:56is fixed soon, as soon as they start getting provisions taken
- 1:02:59off, all of a sudden all these southern states just taking away
- 1:03:02like polling places out of black neighborhoods, just immediately
- 1:03:06like, like, you know, they already had the legislation
- 1:03:08written. Soon as that you know, it's like
- 1:03:11it's it's same thing dude. Yeah, yeah, You saw that a lot
- 1:03:16with the with Roe V Wade. There's a lot of states that I
- 1:03:20talked about on the call that that had triggered laws and set
- 1:03:23in motion like for like 20 years or it's like when this happens.
- 1:03:26Yeah, but that's a little different.
- 1:03:28That's a little different because that was always like the
- 1:03:30goal, you know, with the Voting Rights Act.
- 1:03:33They're, they're, they're trying to, they're not like they're not
- 1:03:36outwardly saying, oh, we're going to go fuck the African
- 1:03:39American because if this wasn't here, they're saying we don't
- 1:03:41need it because we're past the we're past that time.
- 1:03:45And then they take it down. They're like, get them.
- 1:03:47Boom, boom. Yeah, let's get them.
- 1:03:49You know, like just it's grosses me out there.
- 1:03:52That's. Pretty gross.
- 1:03:56That was the one thing that I thought was like sacrosanct,
- 1:03:58like bipartisan. The most American thing ever was
- 1:04:01like, you don't fuck with like vote votes or like someone's
- 1:04:04right to vote or like voting in general, you know?
- 1:04:07Well, that's where they're going to lose a lot of right wingers
- 1:04:11or they could lose a lot of libertarians, the ones that they
- 1:04:14haven't already lost. I just like the conduct of ISIS.
- 1:04:18Very anti libertarian. There's a lot of stuff but
- 1:04:22suppressing making it harder for people to vote is also very anti
- 1:04:26libertarian and he pulled he carried a lot of libertarian
- 1:04:29vote last year. RFK Voters.
- 1:04:32I mean, bro, what are you talking?
- 1:04:33He tried to steal an election. He he, he, he tried to overthrow
- 1:04:36the United States government. He got elected.
- 1:04:38So it's like, I mean you don't, I don't think now like.
- 1:04:42No, Well, no. But like, I mean, think about
- 1:04:44what's like a libertarian's like biggest fear is suppression of
- 1:04:47vote, suppression of like freedom of speech and their
- 1:04:50Second Amendment. Tried to kill the vice president
- 1:04:52so that he could suppress the vote.
- 1:04:55Well, but that's true. I'm not disagreeing with that,
- 1:04:58but that we had a whole other term of somebody else and now
- 1:05:01he's back in power. What I'm saying is the conduct
- 1:05:04device that's going to no matter if it's the, if you're not, oh,
- 1:05:09I don't want to say you're not stupid.
- 1:05:10That sounds terrible, but it's true.
- 1:05:12If you're not stupid, you, you understand how that affects both
- 1:05:15sides of the aisle. And there's some people like
- 1:05:17libertarians that are going to be very anti ICE because they're
- 1:05:20very anti big government, very big.
- 1:05:23OK, I understand what. I no, but I mean right?
- 1:05:25So like. Every single principle has been
- 1:05:30has been stepped on by these guys.
- 1:05:31So like, I thought conservatives were fiscally responsible.
- 1:05:35That shit went out the window a long time ago.
- 1:05:37You know, I thought they were trying to drain the swamp.
- 1:05:39That shit went out the window a long.
- 1:05:40Time. Well, no, but now it's reached
- 1:05:42a. Whole why is this one?
- 1:05:42Different. It's reached and I know, but now
- 1:05:45it's reached a. They were against pedophiles.
- 1:05:47They fucking got Jeffrey Epstein up in the way.
- 1:05:48Exactly. So what I'm saying is they've
- 1:05:50reached a level where he ran on that second, the second term, he
- 1:05:54ran on a platform of still being some of those things.
- 1:05:57And some people bought that bullshit.
- 1:05:59And now, like, if you were a double, if you voted for Trump
- 1:06:02twice and you're a libertarian, that's OK.
- 1:06:05Let's say you voted for him just twice, right?
- 1:06:07Let's say you only voted for him twice.
- 1:06:08Or you? Which ones?
- 1:06:09Which ones? That means that you That means
- 1:06:11you voted against him once. All right, so let's say three
- 1:06:14times. Let's say you voted for him
- 1:06:18three times, but you're super pro Second Amendment, super pro
- 1:06:22freedom of speech and voting like this is infuriating for
- 1:06:27you. This is why they're like bracing
- 1:06:30that they're going to lose the midterms.
- 1:06:31It's not just because people on the left are going to be
- 1:06:35incentivized to go vote, but also 'cause there's a lot of
- 1:06:38people on the right that are like, what the fuck are we
- 1:06:40doing? I know.
- 1:06:43And all it's all I'm saying is, and there's a lot of things I
- 1:06:47thought that would have happened a long time ago and and I
- 1:06:51thought it would happen many, many times.
- 1:06:54We thought that I'm. Done.
- 1:06:56I'm done. Like getting my hopes up that
- 1:06:59this will be the time that the Republicans see that he's not
- 1:07:03really a Republican. It's like.
- 1:07:07I think that he's never, not always been a Republican.
- 1:07:10I think that he's I think that people liked him because he kind
- 1:07:14of wasn't. He ran like he was, but he
- 1:07:17wasn't, he wasn't like ever. That's why they call him actual
- 1:07:20Republicans rhinos, but I do. But I do think that now they're
- 1:07:24realizing that how, how, how? Bad.
- 1:07:27The lies are like at this point like hey with this Epstein stuff
- 1:07:31which is a huge. Point.
- 1:07:33I hope you're right. I hope you're right.
- 1:07:33I just don't see it. Him doing this with the Epstein
- 1:07:37files, the ones that are still super pro Trump don't even talk
- 1:07:39about that shit. Back.
- 1:07:41Like it doesn't even exist. Like none of it's even
- 1:07:42happening. Yeah.
- 1:07:48Pardon me, article #2 from the AP The Backcountry ski trip hit
- 1:07:53by an avalanche was led by an outfit offering mountain
- 1:07:56adventures globally. A group of 15 Backcountry skiers
- 1:08:01headed out on a three day trek organized by Blackbird Mountain
- 1:08:04Guides into pristine wilderness near Fog Lake in California.
- 1:08:08Sierra Nevada. As a powerful window storm moved
- 1:08:11into the state, skiers made their way Sunday to the remote
- 1:08:15Hut situated at 76,000 feet in Tahoe National Forest, carrying
- 1:08:19their own food and supplies. At 6:49 AM that same morning,
- 1:08:23the Sierra Avalanche Center had issued an avalanche watch for
- 1:08:27the area, indicating large slides were likely in the next
- 1:08:3048 to 24 hours. Around 5:00 AM on Tuesday
- 1:08:34morning, the group was scheduled to make its way out of the
- 1:08:38trailhead. The center increased the watch
- 1:08:42to a warning Within hours in avalanche hit the Castle Peak,
- 1:08:46trapping the skiers. Authority said Wednesday that
- 1:08:49eight people were killed, one person remained missing. 6
- 1:08:53skiers were rescued after sheltering in place for hours as
- 1:08:56searchers battled the Blizzard conditions.
- 1:09:01Nevada County Sheriff Shannon Moon said investigators were
- 1:09:04examining the decision to proceed with the trip Sunday
- 1:09:07despite the forecast of a major storm.
- 1:09:10It's not known if the guides would would have known about the
- 1:09:13avalanche warning as they returned to the trailhead.
- 1:09:17We're still in conversation with them on the decision, factors
- 1:09:20that they made. Moon said Wednesday in the news
- 1:09:22conference before the disaster, the company said the guides said
- 1:09:26it's guys were highly skilled in dealing with extreme conditions
- 1:09:30and that it offered avalanche education.
- 1:09:33If you've booked the Fog Lake Hudson Truckee, trust our guides
- 1:09:38to elevate your trip to the next level, the business said on its
- 1:09:41website advertising the trip. We'll navigate in and out of the
- 1:09:46huts, manage the risks and find the best terrain and snow
- 1:09:49quality for you and your group. The guide said in a statement
- 1:09:54Tuesday that it was coordinating with authorities 3 of the guys
- 1:09:57the guides were among those killed.
- 1:10:01The company, which offered which offices are in California and
- 1:10:04Washington state, offers mountaineering and Backcountry
- 1:10:07ski trips across the US and West Coast, as well as in Europe and
- 1:10:12Japan. That offers safety courses like
- 1:10:16wilderness skills and first aid. I mean, how big is this out
- 1:10:22there? I mean, I've seen it all over
- 1:10:23the news. That's scary, man.
- 1:10:25Avalanche is terrifying. Yeah.
- 1:10:28Like getting like hit with a tsunami would be really scary.
- 1:10:32Like a big ass fuck off wave but a big ass fuck off wave of snow
- 1:10:36and ice and trees. Like the destruction those
- 1:10:39things make. Fuck that, that would be
- 1:10:42horrible. What would you rather?
- 1:10:44Get hit with a tsunami or an avalanche.
- 1:10:47So the avalanche would be terrifying, but I'd probably
- 1:10:50take an avalanche over a tsunami.
- 1:10:51I like my chances to survive more.
- 1:10:55You got to figure out if you if you survive and you're stuck,
- 1:10:58you got to figure out which way is up because you don't know
- 1:11:01which way you landed, so you get stuck.
- 1:11:03So there's a thing where you're supposed to dig a hole around
- 1:11:06your head and then you spit. And whichever way your spit
- 1:11:11goes, the opposite direction is up.
- 1:11:14And that's how you get out. If you're like buried sideways
- 1:11:17because you might think you're sitting, you could be sitting
- 1:11:21what you think is. Correct, That's a good way.
- 1:11:22That's a good way to get out of an orgy as well.
- 1:11:26Yeah. Oh, OK.
- 1:11:27Yeah, yeah, I guess so. Just wait.
- 1:11:29Wait till she spits and then you just realize like you know which
- 1:11:31way to crawl out. OK, that's great.
- 1:11:35Thank you Pro tip. Pro tip, not even pro tip, orgy
- 1:11:42like a pro. Start paying your boys.
- 1:11:45Your boy, you don't have to pay me for that.
- 1:11:50But yeah, I that's, I don't know, like, I see shit like this
- 1:11:55and it's terrifying, like going Backcountry skiing where there
- 1:11:59could be avalanches. And if they how would they not
- 1:12:02know? Do they don't have, like,
- 1:12:03radios? There's no like way to transmit
- 1:12:05to people? Do they not know that y'all are
- 1:12:07up on the fucking mountain during the middle of an
- 1:12:10avalanche watch? Like, I don't know, that just
- 1:12:14sounds like all around bad idea. That's what I always think with
- 1:12:19these situations, but they, I just realized it's like, well,
- 1:12:22the type of people that do shit like this are the type of people
- 1:12:25that like wouldn't do the proper protocols or that would be up in
- 1:12:32a, you know, the whole thing, Like it's like they're sketchy
- 1:12:35to begin with or they're doing sketchy things to begin with,
- 1:12:39right? Yeah, but I think if we're going
- 1:12:41to do sketchy things like that, you get what you pay for.
- 1:12:45So I. AM.
- 1:12:46That's what I'm saying. That's why I'm curious.
- 1:12:49So I'm curious to see like what decisions were made or how like
- 1:12:54what their track record is. It's like a deep sea fishing,
- 1:12:57you know, Would I go deep sea fishing?
- 1:12:59Sure. Would I getting one of those
- 1:13:04little rickety ass boats? So they're like, yeah, 200
- 1:13:07bucks, we'll take y'all out and I feel like I'm going to die.
- 1:13:10Absolutely not. Like if I'm going to go deep sea
- 1:13:13fishing, I'm going to spend like $2000 to go out there and go
- 1:13:17fishing. It's going to be with a bunch of
- 1:13:19train people on a nice fucking boat with fucking insurance.
- 1:13:22Like I'm not going out on some little rinky dink boat to go
- 1:13:26deep sea fishing. And there's two types of people.
- 1:13:28There's people who go on the rinky dink boat.
- 1:13:30Those are the ones that go scuba diving and get left out there,
- 1:13:33Forget that they're out there and just leave them.
- 1:13:36Or or or or. Drone strike by Pete Hagseth.
- 1:13:41Yeah, or drone strike. That's true.
- 1:13:43I forgot what that. Is allegedly.
- 1:13:45No, it's not alleged. He's like, yeah, we did that
- 1:13:47shit. You want to see the video?
- 1:13:48This is crazy. I don't care if they didn't have
- 1:13:52enough gas on a boat that. Small man, I meant I meant I
- 1:13:55meant that that they were allegedly smuggling drugs.
- 1:13:58Oh, OK. I just thought, I thought they
- 1:14:00were just, you know, smuggling. Stuff allegedly deep fishing, I
- 1:14:03meant. But yeah, you so you get what
- 1:14:07you pay for. So I'm curious now that does
- 1:14:10that's a pretty big portfolio to be like Europe, West Coast, all
- 1:14:16over the US. That's kind of cool, but I don't
- 1:14:19know. I'm not into that, not into it.
- 1:14:23The cause, the wait. Oh, here we go.
- 1:14:25The record train has been closed to the public for a century
- 1:14:31before the Truckee Donnerland Trust bought it and opened it
- 1:14:35opened the huts. The tour, which cost 1165 per
- 1:14:39person, was rated for intermediate to experience gears
- 1:14:43with at least 20 days of Backcountry experience, who can
- 1:14:46climb up to 2500 vertical feet through a day, according to the
- 1:14:51company's website. Guides carry first aid kits,
- 1:14:54while participants must bring their own ski equipment,
- 1:14:57avalanche gear including a beacon, shovel and a probe.
- 1:15:01Bring your own probes. Generally, our guides are able
- 1:15:05to find excellent Backcountry snow conditions, but often we
- 1:15:09need to travel through difficult conditions.
- 1:15:12Be adept with your Backcountry touring skills and have a solid
- 1:15:16foundation for touring before the trip.
- 1:15:20I mean it's not like they put a lot of onus on the people when
- 1:15:22they go out there. Avalanche safety equipment runs,
- 1:15:26mountain safety programs. You said the heavy snowfall in
- 1:15:2824 hours is a really big red flag and that the safest option
- 1:15:32is to just just to lever rather than hunker down.
- 1:15:37High intensity snowfall in shorts amount of time can
- 1:15:41increase the avalanche hazard fast.
- 1:15:44So you you're already have a snowpack sitting down, sitting
- 1:15:47on the snow, and then you have all of this new snow that's
- 1:15:50falling down at a rapid rate. The snow can slide on it on that
- 1:15:55old snow surface. Yeah, that's sad.
- 1:15:59I mean, it's wild too that three of the people you know, that
- 1:16:03died or were his guides. I mean, that would just be
- 1:16:07terrifying, man. Imagine being 15 people deep and
- 1:16:10an avalanche is coming. Do you try to beat it?
- 1:16:14Do you like turn and like, do you try to ski downhill and
- 1:16:16escape it? Yeah, I just saw a video like IG
- 1:16:21reel where dude yeah, Avalanche's come in and and the
- 1:16:25dude he. Caused it.
- 1:16:26I've seen that one. Where he's like he's trying to
- 1:16:28outrun it, but then he and then hits a lip and does a fucking
- 1:16:31gnarly backflip like and like the like the caption was like
- 1:16:36when you're about to die, but you still you still have like
- 1:16:38have to go ham or something. Like, you know, it's just those
- 1:16:42those type. And yeah, I think what you're
- 1:16:45saying, though in it, if you don't think about it like for
- 1:16:50more than a second, it maybe sounds counterintuitive, but
- 1:16:54easier to survive probably, or a higher chance of surviving an
- 1:16:58avalanche than a fucking tsunami.
- 1:17:00You know, like you're thinking like a water versus snow.
- 1:17:03And it's like, Nah, like a fucking 20 foot wave.
- 1:17:10Like what? You know, like there's a limited
- 1:17:13amount of snow on a mountain. The ocean, the ocean.
- 1:17:17Yeah, you have the force of the planet's gravitational pole
- 1:17:21behind. Yeah, you got the moon working
- 1:17:23on your ass. It's going to knock you into
- 1:17:26like if you get if you get hit by a tsunami and push full force
- 1:17:30into a wall. You got space involved.
- 1:17:32I'm out, I'm out. Like I mean avalanche.
- 1:17:35Mountains are tall, but space is crazy.
- 1:17:37I guess. I guess there's avalanches.
- 1:17:40I'm sure there's times where they don't find people, but.
- 1:17:43Obviously they both suck. But but like a tsunami, they,
- 1:17:47they, they don't find people. Right, right.
- 1:17:50Like my point is like I don't want to do either and the
- 1:17:53avalanche like these are top 2 natural disasters.
- 1:17:56People fucking throw an earthquake all the time like
- 1:17:58that's the one they're most scared of.
- 1:17:59Get the fuck out of here bro. Like I was thinking if there's
- 1:18:02like the mega earthquake, I think that's.
- 1:18:04I was here for the Northridge one and that was whatever.
- 1:18:07But like, you know, I've been through like 50 since then and
- 1:18:14every single time I just continue doing what I was doing
- 1:18:17the second before it started. So it's like it's not a big
- 1:18:19deal. Tsunami avalanche throw those up
- 1:18:24with tornado for me and. Now mudslide mud slides are
- 1:18:28really scary because that's just like.
- 1:18:31I mean, that's the that's the worst way to die, maybe, but
- 1:18:33it's. Like a land, it's like a land
- 1:18:35avalanche. So it's just like raw, it's like
- 1:18:37liquefied Earth. And then you just get buried and
- 1:18:41then just they're just there. Like because mud slides happen a
- 1:18:44lot out here, like more than earthquakes.
- 1:18:46I don't know about more than earthquakes because the
- 1:18:48earthquakes probably happen every day.
- 1:18:49You just don't feel them. Yeah, mud slides are scary.
- 1:18:51But they happen a lot out here because like what happens is
- 1:18:53that we get the cycle of we have the fires and then so that burns
- 1:18:57all the vegetation. So then there's no roots keeping
- 1:19:00the soil in. And then we get rain and then
- 1:19:03the mud slides. And then with the rain helps the
- 1:19:06vegetation grow back. And then the fires have
- 1:19:09something to burn and then burn it.
- 1:19:10And then the, you know, I'm fat because I eat, and I eat because
- 1:19:18I'm fat. It's a vicious cycle.
- 1:19:19You know what I'm saying, dog? What's that from?
- 1:19:22Austin Powers. That's right.
- 1:19:24It's like, where's that shot fat?
- 1:19:27Because I eat, and I eat because I'm fat.
- 1:19:32That like, reminds me like when I was in the poker tournament
- 1:19:35and starting to like build my stack in these poker
- 1:19:40tournaments, there's a lot of like needing to make change like
- 1:19:44because, like the chips that how the chips stacks are and stuff
- 1:19:47like with the blinds because like there's Annies and, and all
- 1:19:49that. So like all the time people are
- 1:19:51like, you know, changing, give me like $1000 chip for, you
- 1:19:55know, two $500 chips or, or, or $500 chip for $500 chips.
- 1:20:00But like, I got up early in the tournament that I got to, you
- 1:20:03know, won the money and like, the dealer would be constantly
- 1:20:08asking me for chips like. Change to, to break them because
- 1:20:12I had so many chips that I could do it.
- 1:20:14And I'll tell the guy next to me that that's, you know, like it's
- 1:20:16a little known aspect of like tournament strategy is, is to
- 1:20:22become the bank. So now, now you got the power.
- 1:20:25You're the one who's, you know, people have to come to you if
- 1:20:27they, if they want $500, you know, from their $500 chip.
- 1:20:32And, and it's just another element, you know, where you can
- 1:20:35assert your dominance. I was saying that to this guy
- 1:20:38like 15 minutes into the tournament because I had already
- 1:20:40built my stack that much and I made it all the way to the final
- 1:20:42table like 5 hours later. What did he say?
- 1:20:48He was, he was, he was like agreeing with me.
- 1:20:50He was just depressed. Like I was like, I'm telling
- 1:20:52you, like out the gates, just like.
- 1:20:54Were there witnesses? Yeah.
- 1:20:57OK, just making sure. Oh.
- 1:21:01Yeah, you want to. Oh, no, no, no, This is what
- 1:21:03you're saying. So the the date that I went and
- 1:21:07blew up, I was last. Night's.
- 1:21:11Date, right, right, right. So that last night was a
- 1:21:14Tuesday. So this tournament was on
- 1:21:16Sunday. Well, there, there was 2
- 1:21:18tournaments, right? So one Saturday, one Sunday, the
- 1:21:20one that I made the money was Sunday.
- 1:21:22But I've been updating the girl that I went on that day with
- 1:21:27about the tournaments. So, you know, I told her I was
- 1:21:31like pretty good at poker. And, you know, I played in the
- 1:21:34tournament on Saturday and I didn't win, but then I went and
- 1:21:36played on Sunday and I did. And so I texted her and I was
- 1:21:40like, I was like, hey, so you like a little impressed and
- 1:21:44maybe slightly turned on that I was able to back up myself,
- 1:21:47proclaim proclamations about of poker greatness so quickly, you
- 1:21:52know, 'cause I was like saying I was good at poker and then I did
- 1:21:54like win the fucking tournament. And then she's like, she, she
- 1:21:57goes, yeah, except for it. And she's divorced that her
- 1:22:02ex-husband like had like a gambling problem and his
- 1:22:04favorite way to gamble was poker.
- 1:22:06And then they used to go to Vegas and he would like leave
- 1:22:08her and go play poker for 15 hours.
- 1:22:10And she said like, he never won. And he would call her like bad
- 1:22:12luck. And it was like this whole like,
- 1:22:15and I was like, Oh my, here I am like, like, just like, you know,
- 1:22:19like feeling like, like, like I'm on one, you know, I'm just,
- 1:22:23I'm just cashing. Yeah, and I'm staying.
- 1:22:26I'm standing in like the cause, like the tournament is like in a
- 1:22:30different room where they play like blackjack and stuff.
- 1:22:31So I went over to where they like the cash games are and I'm
- 1:22:34talking to like my homie, the dealer Brian, and my phone was
- 1:22:37about to die. So he's like, oh, I just plugged
- 1:22:38in the wall. So I'm standing like in the
- 1:22:40middle of the poker room with my phone plugged in, like with a
- 1:22:42grin on my face, like 1200 bucks a night.
- 1:22:44And I'm like, you know, about to, I'm, I'm now flexing and
- 1:22:48asking this girl if she's impressed with me.
- 1:22:51And then and then she just did music.
- 1:22:53Like, no, actually, I'm like worried that you're like
- 1:22:55addicted to gambling because that's what my husband was like.
- 1:22:58I'm like oh fuck. You're like, oh shit.
- 1:23:02I shouldn't know. That was a sign, you know, Hey,
- 1:23:04hey, this isn't going to go well for you.
- 1:23:06That's awesome article. Number 32 Chinese American
- 1:23:13Olympians competing for rival superpowers.
- 1:23:16I haven't been like super engaged in the Winter Olympics
- 1:23:19this year like whatever I could get really give a shit less.
- 1:23:24But as unusual battle is unfolding in the Winter Olympics
- 1:23:27in Milan, not one not on the slopes or in the rinks, but on
- 1:23:33the Internet. So I didn't realize this, this
- 1:23:35one chick who I was like, I mean, she's Chinese American,
- 1:23:41but she's. No, I knew that.
- 1:23:42I saw the picture and I could just tell.
- 1:23:45Eileen Gu, a freestyle or Jew Gu?
- 1:23:49Well, I mean, I don't know. Gu Gu, a freestyle skater, and
- 1:23:53Alyssa Liu. GIF not GIF, GIF.
- 1:23:57GIF A figure skater. They have a lot in common.
- 1:24:00Both their young American Chinese heritage were born and
- 1:24:03raised in the US, and they were champions in their field.
- 1:24:06And yet one is being held a trailblazer, the other one is
- 1:24:09being deemed A traitor. At least the case in the eyes of
- 1:24:12most US, of most of the US on Chinese social media.
- 1:24:16And the other way around. Why?
- 1:24:19Lew, the daughter of a political activist who fled China after a
- 1:24:22deadly crackdown, is competing under the US flag.
- 1:24:25And Gu, whose mother moved to the US for higher education and
- 1:24:30spent her childhood summers visioning Beijing, is
- 1:24:32representing China and Milan. So the one girl who's definitely
- 1:24:37looks that sounds bad, but looks exponentially more American.
- 1:24:42No, no, that looks like exponentially more American is
- 1:24:45the one that's, you know, competing for China.
- 1:24:49And it dude, it's all about money.
- 1:24:51Like there's no way they're not. It's like endorsements and ads.
- 1:24:55Like get the fuck out of here dude.
- 1:24:58Oh well, like the reason why she's competing.
- 1:24:59Yeah, like, yeah, like that's got to be.
- 1:25:01There's got to be a fight. Maybe we're going to make it on
- 1:25:03the American team and. She's won five medals, so she
- 1:25:07got there's there's an interview where she got.
- 1:25:08Sued. It's usually like, like I
- 1:25:11couldn't like for like the World Baseball Classic, I couldn't
- 1:25:14make it on the American team. So I'm going to play for the
- 1:25:16Italian team because like my last name's like, you know,
- 1:25:18Piazza, but like, I'm not actually Italian.
- 1:25:21That's what I thought it was. Eileen Gu competes for China and
- 1:25:23gets paid millions to do it. Elisa Lude, the daughter of a
- 1:25:26Chinese immigrant who participated in the Tiananmen
- 1:25:29Scare pro Tiananmen Square protest in a world of Arlene
- 1:25:34Goos B and Alyssa live. Someone said on X, which is like
- 1:25:38wild though, like she's she's it's all about money.
- 1:25:40There's no way like it's got to completely be about
- 1:25:43endorsements. She grew up out here.
- 1:25:46She visited some puts better summers trained.
- 1:25:50There's like whenever they have that you make your own
- 1:25:53decisions. But I just find that very
- 1:25:55interesting. And a reporter asked her because
- 1:25:57she got silver she got 2 silvers.
- 1:25:59So she lost 2 gold medals and they were like oh does it hurt
- 1:26:04only getting 2 silvers? Do you feel like you missed out
- 1:26:06on 2 golds? And she's like I'm the most
- 1:26:08decorated female freestyle skater in or skier in history.
- 1:26:14So no what are you talking about?
- 1:26:16Like sounded like like you could definitely tell.
- 1:26:19It got under her skin and just sounded.
- 1:26:22Like do you watch the do you watch the traitors?
- 1:26:24No, I don't. You know Michael Rapaport is.
- 1:26:28Yeah. Oh yeah.
- 1:26:29The homie, he was on there and yeah, he would call himself
- 1:26:33that. He's like the best looking, the
- 1:26:35dopest, the smartest traitor, but not not traitor faithful
- 1:26:41because he's you're either traitor or faithful.
- 1:26:43But yeah, that's what that's what she sounds like right
- 1:26:45there. It's Michael Rapaport ingest,
- 1:26:48hyping himself up. Yeah, rather than border the
- 1:26:54their underlying concurrent competitiveness between the US
- 1:26:56and China. And right now is that the net,
- 1:26:58the Nederlanders are just kicking everybody's ass.
- 1:27:01It's not even. Close.
- 1:27:01It sounds like you've been keeping up with it a little bit
- 1:27:04bro. Well, I read about this.
- 1:27:05I watched something about it this morning because I was like,
- 1:27:08huh, I was like, that's weird. And then I watched her interview
- 1:27:12where she got pissed off and I was like, oh, that's kind of
- 1:27:16funny. But then I was like, wait, like,
- 1:27:18why are they grilling this like American chick, Like go.
- 1:27:21And then I was like, wait, she's skiing for China.
- 1:27:23That's crazy. And then it's like they
- 1:27:24flip-flopped. I don't know, I think, but I
- 1:27:28have always thought it was weird when somebody's like, oh, well,
- 1:27:32I'm a I'm French American, but I'm going to go play in the
- 1:27:36World Cup for France. Like it's totally like, I'm
- 1:27:40going to go. It's like in high school, I'm
- 1:27:42going to go to this school because they have a better
- 1:27:44football team. Like I don't miss like very much
- 1:27:50shit about the passive with drinking and shit like that, but
- 1:27:54one thing that I've actually got myself missing drinking game,
- 1:27:59figure skating. Any time anybody falls, take a
- 1:28:02shot. People were falling like crazy.
- 1:28:05So this year, dude, like you'd be hammered.
- 1:28:08But I was like watching that too because like the egos you have
- 1:28:12to have to be a figure skater is like so crazy.
- 1:28:15Like you rarely meet like a super humble figure skater.
- 1:28:18I feel like an Olympian in general.
- 1:28:21True, but figure skater is like a, is like, it's like another
- 1:28:24class of, it's like a. Different class of and I was
- 1:28:26going to the example I was going to use actually was figure
- 1:28:29skater because what's his name? Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir
- 1:28:37are all on the traders together. And and like, you know, he's
- 1:28:44just like, you know, a feminine gay guy and he's like, but he's
- 1:28:47actually like super, super nice too.
- 1:28:48And he's like not getting messy like at all, like in the whole
- 1:28:51game. But then there's like, there's
- 1:28:52like one clip of like where he's doing like the interview.
- 1:28:56You know, you're doing a reality show where you're sitting.
- 1:28:58Yeah, in confessional. Professional, right.
- 1:29:01And just something he said where I was like, like, and I was
- 1:29:04like, oh, yeah, I was like where it was kind of like you.
- 1:29:08Oh, that. That's why he's in Olympian.
- 1:29:10You know, it's like you, you forget you're you're sleeping on
- 1:29:13Johnny Weir. But like, you know, there's like
- 1:29:16there's a side of him that was Got, you know, that's
- 1:29:20competitive and Got. Yeah, they're like, like, yeah,
- 1:29:22like they're. The sprinters of the Winter
- 1:29:24Olympics, so it's like sprinters are like, but he's.
- 1:29:27Like he was just like, so sweet, nice, like, just like friendly,
- 1:29:30you know? And then.
- 1:29:31But then he said like, I'm like, oh, fuck yeah.
- 1:29:33Oh yeah, I forgot. You don't fuck with that dude.
- 1:29:35Yeah, no, I mean, he's made it this far for a reason, right?
- 1:29:39I mean, you know, you got to watch other kids dreams fall
- 1:29:42apart for you to chase yours if you're a figure skater.
- 1:29:45Yeah, see, we can't have anything nice in this world.
- 1:29:47Like if you're a billionaire, then you're thinking about it
- 1:29:50going to hell. There is very few competitive
- 1:29:54sports like figure skating, ballet, even ballets got some
- 1:30:00sort of team centric aspect to it because you dance with like a
- 1:30:03troop or a company. But yeah, man, like if you're
- 1:30:07like 9, you can and you're like competing and figure skating,
- 1:30:10you're watching other kids dreams like of the of not like I
- 1:30:14wouldn't be on TV of like being in the Olympics like that is
- 1:30:18like, but that is your goal is to like, you know, like that'd
- 1:30:21be hardcore. I guess gymnastics would be
- 1:30:23another one, but I'd be like hardcore.
- 1:30:26Like if you were that good, how many people you'd watch, like
- 1:30:29fail or quit and give up on the way to you?
- 1:30:33Being an Olympian would be hardcore, you know?
- 1:30:35It must be like Oprah becoming a billionaire, being just like
- 1:30:38evil person deep down. There, basically you're just
- 1:30:42like, you're just basically saying like, if you live
- 1:30:44forever, how much terrible shit would you see?
- 1:30:46It's like, well, yeah. Yeah, a lot.
- 1:30:48OK, but that just means you live forever.
- 1:30:51It's like that's just what happens.
- 1:30:54So you're admitting Oprah's a bad person and that's just what
- 1:30:57happens. Well, you know, I'm talking
- 1:30:58about game because like I was telling somebody, I was telling
- 1:31:02somebody like the worst things I've ever seen on the planet or
- 1:31:04at the poker table, you know, it's just horrific.
- 1:31:06It's like, it's like, it's like, you know, you'll be thinking
- 1:31:09like things, you know, things that will be just good enough
- 1:31:12to, to to fucking destroy you. And somebody was like, yeah,
- 1:31:16like life did. And I'm just like, yeah, I guess
- 1:31:18you're right. I'm sick.
- 1:31:19I'm just describing life that anything could happen and UPS
- 1:31:24downs in between that's. How it goes, man.
- 1:31:28Yeah, I mean, I'm not too invested in this, but I do find
- 1:31:31it very funny that this girl was born in California to a Chinese
- 1:31:34mother, American father, her mother.
- 1:31:38She was raised by her mother, a successful venture capitalist
- 1:31:41with degrees from Peking University and Stanford.
- 1:31:45She grew up with her foot firmly in both worlds, spending her
- 1:31:48summers in Beijing and the rest of her time in a private school
- 1:31:51in San Francisco. I don't know.
- 1:31:55It's all about there's no way. Like I just don't believe it.
- 1:31:59She said she wants to inspire millions of people.
- 1:32:01And that's really she said. She said that she wants to
- 1:32:03inspire girls over there to compete and do things because it
- 1:32:08is like a very like a male first centric culture.
- 1:32:13She's a good answer. Traitor.
- 1:32:16China. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:22Well then guess what? Send her back to China so the
- 1:32:25Chinese can eat her. Sounds like a panda espresso
- 1:32:31dish. Colon Pow.
- 1:32:40You always go back to that. I know I did.
- 1:32:43That's that you. Always go.
- 1:32:44Back to my head forever. Dude, I know like.
- 1:32:46Conda, Lisa Rice. Sounds like a Mexican dish.
- 1:32:50Send her back to Mexico so the Mexicans can eat her.
- 1:32:54That's like it doesn't even. Make sense?
- 1:32:56It's just so. Pilot episode, that's the pilot
- 1:32:58episode. Tyrone Bigham's Chappelle Show,
- 1:33:03that is the first episode. So that's had you hooks.
- 1:33:05It's like the moment you saw. That yeah, maybe that's what it
- 1:33:08was, the imprint of Chappelle just on my brain right there.
- 1:33:11It's like imprinting, Yeah. I mean, obviously they're trying
- 1:33:16to make it and frame it as it's like the US versus China like it
- 1:33:21always is it. Always is, motherfucker.
- 1:33:24I I do think that's goofy. I I've.
- 1:33:28And that's right, Russia. Nobody's worried about your gas
- 1:33:32station over there. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:33:37Hunter Biden on the board over there, jerking off in in
- 1:33:40meetings. Well, not anymore.
- 1:33:44Well, right, right. He does like art.
- 1:33:47Now he's just. Like you ever did you watch that
- 1:33:49interview with him and Andrew Callahan?
- 1:33:51He has like 3 or 4 of them with them.
- 1:33:53Well, they're like, well, it's just like 4 hours long I think.
- 1:33:55I think he might have broke it up.
- 1:33:58But yes. But yeah, like, and people that
- 1:34:02I like on the left, like I'll hear him like just like like
- 1:34:06like hit Hunter Biden with like a stray and be like, I fucking
- 1:34:10hate that guy. You know, it's, I'm like, he's
- 1:34:13kind of like smart on point like.
- 1:34:14He's he's cool as fuck. And all the and then like and
- 1:34:17then there's like that meme going around or or screenshot
- 1:34:21where it's like who wasn't hunter button in the Epstein
- 1:34:23files and like someone of the chicks was like because he likes
- 1:34:27Latinas and grown ass women. And crack.
- 1:34:32Oh, crack. Yeah.
- 1:34:33Crack and grown ass women, yeah. Sure, he released.
- 1:34:38Them and and and supposedly he was like very respectful and
- 1:34:41tipped well. Oh, I'm sure he seems not super
- 1:34:44nice, right? He's just a mess, but he seems
- 1:34:48like a nice guy. But yeah, it's like, dude, if
- 1:34:50you guys got a hold of my laptop and I had a video, I don't have
- 1:34:53any. I guess I just I'm.
- 1:34:55Trying to be naked smoking crack.
- 1:34:57Yeah, I was trying to think of like, like.
- 1:34:59With a bunch of prostitutes. In a gun, like we all could,
- 1:35:04like if there was a video of something that we were doing in
- 1:35:08private, we'd all look crazy, you know?
- 1:35:11But then. But I realized, like, you know,
- 1:35:13he made the video and what he was doing is crazier than
- 1:35:17anything that I did. So.
- 1:35:18So yeah. What are you?
- 1:35:19Doing. So.
- 1:35:20So both of those things are not like equivalent to this analogy.
- 1:35:23Yeah, like there's 10 minutes of that.
- 1:35:25We've all made videos of us doing hardcore drugs while
- 1:35:28naked, right guys? With guns and prostitutes.
- 1:35:31I told did I tell you about how my Co worker at the time?
- 1:35:35Well, people think we're in recovery.
- 1:35:37Told me that I like she was the first person I knew.
- 1:35:41It was like in the Q Anon and then she was saying like that
- 1:35:44she had seen a video of Hunter Biden with an underage girl and
- 1:35:49she wrote this in an e-mail, a working like e-mail while we're
- 1:35:53in the office, like on our work. And I was like, I was like that.
- 1:35:58Well, I knew that doesn't exist. But then I realized, like, you
- 1:36:00just admitted to, like, watching, like, underage sexual
- 1:36:05content on a work e-mail. I know that it's not true what
- 1:36:09you just said, but that is what you just did.
- 1:36:12I I watched a video with Hunter. But yeah, at work, during work,
- 1:36:17I was like you like, that's how crazy Q Anon.
- 1:36:20Like, you know, I was like, has got you.
- 1:36:22Same girl. Same girl. her and I used to be
- 1:36:24like the last two of the sales team, like in the office.
- 1:36:27A lot of people would leave, get there earlier and leave earlier,
- 1:36:29like their clients work on the East Coast.
- 1:36:32Yeah, and this one day I was in the bathroom and it was the day
- 1:36:36that JFK Junior was supposed to show up in Dallas.
- 1:36:40I remember that there's so many people that showed up.
- 1:36:43And and I was in the bathroom and I was just like scrolling
- 1:36:48through like the news. And I saw that I didn't even
- 1:36:51know about that. And I saw that that was supposed
- 1:36:53to happen and that he didn't show up.
- 1:36:55And it was AQ Anon thing. And soon as I open the door,
- 1:36:58she's walking down the hall to go leave.
- 1:37:01I go, Oh, Patricia. Oh, sorry.
- 1:37:02I just out of there. I don't care.
- 1:37:05Patricia. I was like, did you hear JFK
- 1:37:07Junior showed up in Dallas? She goes, oh, my God, no.
- 1:37:09I was just on the phone with my daughter.
- 1:37:10He did. I was like, no, I just looked at
- 1:37:14her like with disgust. I was like, no, just like, come
- 1:37:19on, you're a grown ass woman. What are we doing?
- 1:37:22But then then guess what? It turns out that you know half
- 1:37:25and half of what she believed was actually happening.
- 1:37:28Yeah, it was just, you know, a SIOP created by the people that
- 1:37:31were doing it to distract her. You would think the Kyodon
- 1:37:34people would have figured out, you know, 'cause like that
- 1:37:37sounds crazy enough to be Kyonon like that that the the
- 1:37:41pedophiles created the the story about.
- 1:37:44Same with pizza. Yeah, it was all Bannon, dude.
- 1:37:46Bannon. 'S out there.
- 1:37:47We've always said every, every accusation is a confession.
- 1:37:50We, we've said that from the beginning.
- 1:37:52We should have known this whole time.
- 1:37:53I mean, we did know. Yeah, most people were like, no.
- 1:37:58Yeah, what am I saying? What am I saying?
- 1:37:59We didn't know. Everybody knew.
- 1:38:01We just were like some people were like, no, maybe not.
- 1:38:04No, yeah, just half the fucking country just doesn't care.
- 1:38:07And then the last article is really just a list.
- 1:38:10It says it's the seven worst presidential nominees of all
- 1:38:13time. I actually like that because on
- 1:38:15the very first episode we brought out the list of it was
- 1:38:20what the historians do every four years of the presidents and
- 1:38:24they rank them. So this is a throwback and cause
- 1:38:27I've always wanted to do that, but it only comes out every four
- 1:38:29years. So it's like you can't really do
- 1:38:30that bit all the time. But this is a new little spin.
- 1:38:32Nominees didn't think about that.
- 1:38:35Yeah, I'm #1 Horace Greenlee 19801872 election clean was
- 1:38:42Greenlee was a fine founder of the New York Tribune and became
- 1:38:45involved in the Whig Party politics as a young man he was a
- 1:38:49big advocate for settlement in the American West and is said to
- 1:38:53have popularized popularized the phrase go West, young man go
- 1:38:57West and grow in the grow up in the country a version of which.
- 1:39:02Was he popularized that phrase? I never knew who said that.
- 1:39:05What is that a popular phrase? I know like go West young man,
- 1:39:10but I didn't know go West and grow up in the country.
- 1:39:12I never. Heard yeah, that part I was
- 1:39:13going to say. He wasn't really a politician.
- 1:39:15His main political experience was in 48 to 49 when he was a
- 1:39:19congressman in New York 6th District.
- 1:39:22He only spent four months in the role and received it on the back
- 1:39:26of a resignation of a former congressman on the back for cars
- 1:39:33on the back of election fraud. So he replaced somebody who
- 1:39:36resigned for election fraud after the defeat of Lincoln.
- 1:39:40Greenlee was supported by Radical Republicans who were
- 1:39:43opposed Andrew Jackson but fell out with the Republican
- 1:39:47president Ulysses Grant over corruption and reconstruction
- 1:39:50issues. This guy sounds like a Dick #2
- 1:39:57James G Blame 1884. If you look into Blaine's
- 1:40:01performance and the election, it was purely from a numbers
- 1:40:04perspective. You would suggest that he
- 1:40:06shouldn't have been on the list. He ended up losing a close
- 1:40:08election to Grover Cleveland. In reality, the Republican
- 1:40:12candidate managed to throw away this election due to incendiary
- 1:40:16comments during the campaign along with the bribery scandal.
- 1:40:20Republican Party had won. When the previous 6 elections
- 1:40:24and Blaine would have made seven in a row.
- 1:40:26Damn unlikely. Blaine imminently qualified for
- 1:40:31president. He represented the state of
- 1:40:33maintenance House of Representatives.
- 1:40:35He won Secretary of State on 2 occasions under.
- 1:40:38He was Secretary of State under 2 occasions under.
- 1:40:41Three different presidents had previous tilts as a Republican
- 1:40:45nominee. Damn bro.
- 1:40:46Oh wait, he had an affair in Cleveland, was found to have
- 1:40:51fathered an illegitimate child while on a railroad scandal.
- 1:40:55That's the hardcore. So he actually had a kid.
- 1:40:57How did they prove it was this kid Probably just looked like
- 1:41:02him. They're like, look at this kid.
- 1:41:03That's that's you. And he's like, shit.
- 1:41:05Well if it was Asian I could definitely tell.
- 1:41:07Yeah, true. Like no, that's yours, babe.
- 1:41:10And it was the railroad, so it probably was a Chinese like
- 1:41:13illegitimate child. You know that Chinese indentured
- 1:41:15servant working on the railroad too soon.
- 1:41:21Yeah, it was a tirade. Blade hoped his Irish Catholic
- 1:41:24mother could give him the support of the Irish Americans
- 1:41:27in New York. This hope was destroyed when one
- 1:41:30of his supporters gave a speech to riding the Democrats.
- 1:41:34The speech was infamous as it said the Democrats were the
- 1:41:37party of rum, Romanism and rebellion, while Blame didn't
- 1:41:42notice the slur against Catholics, nor did the
- 1:41:44newspapers present it. Remember they didn't.
- 1:41:47Yeah. So I mean, this guy's just
- 1:41:48stupid. He lost the popular vote by
- 1:41:51.57%. They lost the state of New York
- 1:41:59by 1149 votes, and that's really close to a Trump.
- 1:42:03Well, in what year though? 1884 Thomas Dewey 1948 Election
- 1:42:18see right here Truman was extremely unpopular as the
- 1:42:20Democrat party split three ways. Truman Dewey was certainly
- 1:42:26qualified as a candidate candidate.
- 1:42:27He was the governor of New York and office he'd held for 11
- 1:42:31years and already had one presidential campaign under his
- 1:42:34belt while he was while he while he was well beaten in 1944, that
- 1:42:41victor was incomparable. Franklin D Roosevelt and Deweage
- 1:42:45managed to get almost 40%, forty 6% of the popular vote.
- 1:42:49That's pretty good. They're going up against FDR,
- 1:42:53like right, almost half that's on the popular vote.
- 1:42:57That's 40. 6. It's FDR.
- 1:43:00That's an 8 point difference bro.
- 1:43:03Yeah, but it's FDR. You'd think it'd be more than
- 1:43:05that, no? I don't know.
- 1:43:06He went four times. How did he lose?
- 1:43:11He became complacent and believed a win was inevitable.
- 1:43:14So since the Republicans believe they were merely needed to avoid
- 1:43:17any major blunders, Dewey adopted a safety first strategy
- 1:43:21which was to backfire spectacularly.
- 1:43:24His speeches were dull, vague and utterly pointless.
- 1:43:27Statements such as your future is still ahead of you did not
- 1:43:31really rally people behind his causing contrast.
- 1:43:34Truman's speeches were energetic, fired up supporters
- 1:43:37as well as appealing to the white S.
- 1:43:40He also fared well with Midwestern farmers and Catholic
- 1:43:44and Jewish voters. So he's just a dud.
- 1:43:49George McGovern 1972. You might be surprised.
- 1:43:53He's for 50 years. South Dakota senator came out,
- 1:43:56spoken on his criticism of the Vietnam War and was considering
- 1:43:59himself the model of American liberalism when he announced
- 1:44:03that he was running for president in 71.
- 1:44:05He was he he was given little chance of even securing the
- 1:44:09nomination, fell apart with a lack of funds and another
- 1:44:14contender, Hubert Humphrey, was defeating.
- 1:44:17He was defeated by Hubert Humphrey was defeated by
- 1:44:21McGovern. He secured the nomination.
- 1:44:26The surge, however, he look was looking for a running mate and
- 1:44:29it proved to be a complete disaster as he turned down by
- 1:44:32several people, including Ted Kennedy.
- 1:44:35Damn dude, he tried to. Damn Ted Kennedy, he's a murder
- 1:44:38bro and he turned you down, man. The line of the Senate.
- 1:44:41Homie, you say he's a murderer. Yeah.
- 1:44:45Aren't they like all murderers? Well, he drunk drove into it.
- 1:44:52Yeah, yeah. And killed somebody.
- 1:44:54Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:44:55I was to say, I think they've all been accused or done
- 1:44:57something. There was what?
- 1:44:59Who's they all? Who's they all are you talking
- 1:45:01about? My Kennedys.
- 1:45:02The Kennedys are killers or have covered up I think.
- 1:45:08They've been killed. Isn't there one of them?
- 1:45:10Been covered up. One of them died in a ski
- 1:45:13accident. That there's, like, a lot of
- 1:45:17tragic shits, yeah. Yeah, they have all these like
- 1:45:19tragedies. Like literally JF KS
- 1:45:23granddaughter just died. She's 35, died from cancer like
- 1:45:272 weeks ago. Yeah, sure.
- 1:45:36Walter Mondale in 1984. He had been AUS Senator from
- 1:45:41Minnesota for 12 years and we've been Vice President under Jimmy
- 1:45:44Carter. I'll bet you people didn't like
- 1:45:46that too much. Whoever Carter wasn't popular in
- 1:45:49Americans. The economy nosedive during his
- 1:45:51tenure. Nevertheless, the Carter Mundell
- 1:45:54team were nominated by the Democrats.
- 1:45:56At 80, it was a complete bloodbath as Reagan and Bush
- 1:45:59Republican ticket won by a landslide, running with 489
- 1:46:05Electoral College votes to just 49.
- 1:46:09Good Lord the the last one it says is John Kerry 2004, the 7th
- 1:46:16worst presidential candidate. Is that because he didn't win?
- 1:46:22He's a good guy. What do you mean?
- 1:46:24How's he a bad candidate? You would have been a good
- 1:46:25president. Kerry is it Another secretary of
- 1:46:28mystifying pick by the Democrats, this time for the
- 1:46:312024 election. George W Bush had only scraped
- 1:46:34into office in 2000, where he beat a dull and uninspiring Al
- 1:46:38Gore. The Democrats clearly thought it
- 1:46:41was a good strategy. He only barely lost right, and
- 1:46:45another chose another candidate with the charisma of a plank of
- 1:46:49wood. The party could have taken back
- 1:46:51the White House with a better candidate.
- 1:46:53Since the first Birch Junior administration ended ended with
- 1:46:57America in two wars, one of its one was possibly justified while
- 1:47:02the other was not. As a result, the public was
- 1:47:04frustrated by the news of dead soldiers and bogus WMDS.
- 1:47:08Alas, Carry was the not the man to benefit from the disaffection
- 1:47:13that he ran a pretty dreadful campaign of.
- 1:47:16Truth be told, he criticized Bush over the war.
- 1:47:19He wasn't able to make any headway in the polls.
- 1:47:22He made a real blunder when it came to his own military record.
- 1:47:25The Swift vets and PFWS for Truth campaign hurt Carrie
- 1:47:30badly. They suggested he lied about his
- 1:47:33about the effectiveness and indeed the nature of Swift boat
- 1:47:37operations in Vietnam. There were even baseless
- 1:47:40allegations he lied to get war medals.
- 1:47:43He was far too slow to respond to the accusations of his former
- 1:47:47mates and his campaign even backtracked regarding a mission
- 1:47:51in Cambodia and his behavior in battle that earned him his
- 1:47:55Bronze Star. I remember hearing this carries
- 1:47:57a flip flopper. I remember hearing that all the
- 1:48:00fucking time. No, I know.
- 1:48:01But I think what they should be saying is that George W Bush ran
- 1:48:05a good campaign and he ran a shitty campaign, but he wasn't a
- 1:48:09shitty nominee. But yeah, like the fact that you
- 1:48:12were a fucking war hero and George W Bush's war Dodger, war
- 1:48:17Dodger and or draft Dodger and and we're in two wars and he's
- 1:48:22acting like he's the military patriotic motherfucker.
- 1:48:24When Kerry, Kerry didn't get drafted either.
- 1:48:27He fucking volunteered and they made him seem like a pussy.
- 1:48:31Yeah, Democrat. And he didn't help us caused by
- 1:48:34actually flip flopping over certain issues.
- 1:48:36For example, he said that marriage was something between a
- 1:48:39man and a woman, but didn't support any of the numerous
- 1:48:42state bans on gay marriage. He didn't respond when
- 1:48:45Democratic members said those against gay marriage were
- 1:48:48backwards thinking homophobes. It got even worse when he
- 1:48:54brought up Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter during the third
- 1:48:56presidential debate. No one really cared about the
- 1:48:59vice president's daughter, and it ruined the momentum he had
- 1:49:03seeming by game by winning all three of the debates.
- 1:49:06Yeah, I'm talking, man, It's an unfair battle for Democrats
- 1:49:09versus Republicans. It's like, it's like if you're a
- 1:49:12Democrat, like you need to, you need to hold the line on
- 1:49:16everything and you better be, you know, like, and then
- 1:49:19Republicans will clutch their pearls like you said, what about
- 1:49:21Dick Cheney's daughter? But then or like you
- 1:49:24flip-flopped on this. It's like Trump, like, you know,
- 1:49:27flip flops in the middle of like one word, like he's in the
- 1:49:30middle of a syllable and he and he'll flip flop and they don't
- 1:49:33give a shit. Yeah, I mean, and we've seen
- 1:49:35Obama was not what didn't support gay marriage and then
- 1:49:38changed his mind. I think people can do as long as
- 1:49:41about how you go about doing it and was.
- 1:49:45I think Obama always supported, not publicly, He said he was for
- 1:49:48civil unions, and then what happened was Biden came out and
- 1:49:51said that he was for gay marriage.
- 1:49:53And then Obama fucking almost murdered him in the Oval Office
- 1:49:56for getting ahead of him on that and then had to come out and say
- 1:49:58that he was for it. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:50:01I mean, yeah, that makes sense, yeah.
- 1:50:04I mean that I was totally fine with that.
- 1:50:05It's like I get the politics for Obama.
- 1:50:07It's like, like to me, it was like that was one of those
- 1:50:10things where it's like, I know that he's not a bigot and I know
- 1:50:13that he's down for gay marriage. And that's that was he's.
- 1:50:16In a room full enough racist bigots.
- 1:50:18It's good enough for me. He has to get elected, right?
- 1:50:20We need to get, we need. It's better to be inside the
- 1:50:22tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.
- 1:50:25That's what my dad always tried to tell me.
- 1:50:27Yeah, that's true. Like.
- 1:50:28You don't want to like why you always like a rebel man.
- 1:50:30He's like, why don't you, you know, be involved and then you
- 1:50:32can make, you know, make should happen from the inside.
- 1:50:36That's true. You got anything else for us?
- 1:50:39Meditate, bitches. Make sure y'all like, follow,
- 1:50:43subscribe, share, leave a comment, whatever.

- 1:50:55get this shit going. What are we like the Olympic
- 1:50:58team? Let's finish these Olympics.
- 1:51:00Let's wrap it up, baby. I mean, like with the most
- 1:51:02international objects here, it's like, you know, it's like, are
- 1:51:05we going to get Patreon, USAUSA? No Boo us, Boo JD Vance or
- 1:51:12anybody from our administration that shows up.

- 1:51:22coke with your Prime Minister or president.
- 1:51:24And I don't forget if it's the Prime Minister or president, I
- 1:51:26saw her the other day on camera. She obviously just ate coke
- 1:51:28right before she got on camera. I just, I just think that the
- 1:51:33Italian Prime Minister Coke is probably pretty good.
- 1:51:35Oh, it's got it's got to be top notch, top notch.

- 1:52:12People love you when they're on their mind.
