- 3:45so Mike is with Red Creek Mafia. That's on YouTube. You guys,
- 3:47please go subscribe. He had a terrifying sasquash encounter while hunting deer in
- 3:53Mississippi in December of twenty twenty, which is pretty recent, so please help
- 3:57me. Welcome to the show today, Mike. What's ups? I'm doing
- 4:09excellent. Yeah, I'm doing so good. It's so nice to meet you,
- 4:13and I know I've been in your chats a couple of times, several
- 4:15times. Because you have fantastic guests over there on your show. I'm almost
- 4:19a little jealous. Man. It's not not that I don't have great guests.
- 4:23I have an amazing guest, but yeah, you've had a couple that
- 4:27I have not had on my show yet. Uh so far. So well,
- 4:30you know we're friends now with friends help each other out, and I
- 4:33can send a few year way, and I'll send a few year way.
- 4:36How about that? Absolutely sounds like absolutely, yeah, it does. Yeah,
- 4:46And I wanted to I know you and I were talking about the hurricane
- 4:48that hit Florida today and I didn't realize it hit right where I grew up
- 4:53as a kid vacationing. So I we sent our our love and our prayers
- 4:57out to everybody that's affected by that hurricane down in Florida today and in South
- 5:00Georgia. We're thinking about you guys, and so I just wanted to to
- 5:05recognize that today. I know they're going through a lot right now. So
- 5:12I'm looking at your chat right now, and there's some people I wouldn't.
- 5:15I just want to tell you how the name came about. The Red Creek
- 5:17Mafia name came about when I was young. When I was young, like
- 5:23not an adolescent, but you know, late teens, we had a hunting
- 5:27club. It was like five of us and it was in Red Creek Management
- 5:30Area, so we was Red Creek Mafia, and the name just stuck.
- 5:36I love it. Yeah, I have a little Bertie told me before the
- 5:40show that there will be a lot of Mafia references in our chat today.
- 5:44So yeah, I think y'all know who it is. I think you might
- 5:47be able to screen right now as a matter of fact. So yeah,
- 5:49shout out to Long Island Bigfoot. He's always he's always keeping me laughing.
- 5:54He's awesome. So yeah, he's gonna make it off of you can't refuse.
- 5:59I gotta say that my New York accent in my head. Yeah.
- 6:03Well okay, well you know I'm you know, I'm bringing it but to
- 6:06South Mississippi, right I heard? Yeah? Absolutely, I did hear that.
- 6:13Yeah, be sure that you guys have a translator. Okay. He
- 6:16and I had a language barrier. Yeah, yeah, we had a little
- 6:21language barrier, but it was it was all fun. We joke around about
- 6:26that. It wasn't that bad. But yeah, that's great. I mean,
- 6:29you and I are Southerners. You know. I'm in Georgia, you're
- 6:30in Mississippi. We have a lot of Sasquatch activity down here in the South,
- 6:34and you are you are a testament to that. And I've heard your
- 6:41story and it is I'm it's a nail biter, and it's it's actually quite
- 6:46terrifying, Mike. And I was wondering if you could kind of tell us
- 6:49about that today, like tell it, tell me what led up to it
- 6:53and kind of what happened. Yeah, absolutely so, Yeah, it was.
- 7:00It was December sixteenth of twenty and twenty. Uh, slap dead in
- 7:05the middle of hunting season. To paint a picture South Mississippi. Uh,
- 7:11the way the hunting seasons go, it starts off archery season and then your
- 7:15first dog season comes in. And what I mean by dog you're not hunting
- 7:19dogs. They actually used dogs down here to hunt deer. And I'm not
- 7:24a fan of that. I never have been. Yeah, it's very dangerous.
- 7:32You know, a lot of outlaws and stuff like that, a lot
- 7:35of drinking and dope smoking and stuff like that. It's just not my thing.
- 7:40So when these seasons come in, I would always go I'm getting some
- 7:46kind of pickup. Can you hear something? I've got my fan on,
- 7:53so yeah, I can hear your fan. Can you hear it? Okay,
- 7:58I'm gonna mute my mic when you talk, okay. So anyways,
- 8:01yeah, that that was coming in that there's there's two of them, one
- 8:07last for about two weeks and then the last one like takes up the whole
- 8:11month of December. And when they have these dog seasons, you know,
- 8:16you have to get out of town pretty much. You have to go to
- 8:20like a WMA. Red Creek is my closest WMA. But I went further
- 8:28two counties up to Perry County to Leaf River Management Area, and that's where
- 8:33I used to go to get away. And it's vast, man, it's
- 8:37out in the middle of nowhere. If you look at if you look at
- 8:41Leaf River on Google Earth, there's nothing there. I mean, the closest
- 8:45house is like thirty miles away north or south. You know, it's a
- 8:48long way. So uh yeah, that's what I was doing that particular day,
- 8:52getting away from dog hunters. And there was this particular spot there that
- 8:58it had a uh it was dead in the middle. It was straight across
- 9:03from the game wardens station, and the game wardens in there are very strict,
- 9:07you know, like if you're a fellon with a firearm, you're going
- 9:09to jail, you know, stuff like that. You got to watch out
- 9:13for those. Yeah, oh yeah, no doubt about it. So anyways,
- 9:20I used to hunt this uh ryegrass field. It was just it was
- 9:22huge. It was like two hundred yards wide and about a thousand yards long,
- 9:28and it had it had these power lines running adjacent to it, you
- 9:35know that ran north and south, and you know, a lot of hunters
- 9:39would set up on that field. In deer and Mississippi are very smart.
- 9:43They're very skittish and very smart because of the hunting pressure. A lot of
- 9:48people will hunt, you know, right on these fields and they never have
- 9:50any luck because these deer got it figured out. You know. You know,
- 9:56when it gets dark, there's no humans in the woods, so that's
- 9:58when they come out to eat. They're very nocturnal, that deer are because
- 10:01of the pressure. Okay, so you know, I tried it out a
- 10:05couple of times and no luck. So I figured out what to do.
- 10:11I would go all the way down to power lines and get behind this field.
- 10:18At like a choke point, and I would get up a tree.
- 10:22It was like my favorite tree, favorite pine tree. It was like the
- 10:26perfect tree. You know. You can get up thirty foot, fifty foot
- 10:30whatever, you know, and you have to get always got a super high
- 10:33because another thing, South Mississippi's really really thick, super thick, so thick.
- 10:41Every every other year they have to burn the woods, you know,
- 10:45they do like a prescribed by a bull hunter. By the way, I'm
- 10:48I'm everything bo okay, everything this was this was gun. This was gunn
- 10:58Okay, Well I don't pull a bow back anymore. He's a crossbow.
- 11:03Okay, that's cool. Cash you Anyways, I just seated at chat.
- 11:11Sorry. So, yeah, it was just a normal day. I went
- 11:16out there and I would always get on this check point and I had a
- 11:20lot of luck because I would see a lot of deer cross the power lines
- 11:26right before it got dark, you know, setting up to come on that
- 11:28field to eat. You know. It was like an ambush kind of thing.
- 11:33And yeah, it was just a normal day, you know, nothing
- 11:35out the normal, nothing out the normal. I got up the tree.
- 11:41I always get up pretty early, you know, this time of the year,
- 11:43it was getting dark, probably around five thirty, you know, pitch
- 11:46black, five thirty five forty somewhere around an air And I always got up
- 11:52my tree super early, you know, like one o'clock, you know that
- 11:54way I you know, calm the woods down, you know, you walk
- 11:58in and you know, wait for the woods to calm down and get your
- 12:01you know, wait for your smell to get out of there and stuff like
- 12:05that. Yam blending to the environment too. Oh yeah, yep, yep.
- 12:11So uh yeah, there was nothing very strange. You know. I
- 12:16got up the tree and and after about an hour, you know, I'm
- 12:20thinking to myself something something's off, you know that there's something different, you
- 12:24know, because it was like not a not a squirrel in the tree,
- 12:28not a bird chirp, no nothing, you know, just it was quiet.
- 12:35I mean the wind I can remember the wind was hit me in my
- 12:37face a little bit, so I knew my wind was good. And it
- 12:39was just weird. You know. I'd always at least see something fox,
- 12:43squirrel, a rabbit or maybe a small little deer or something. I'm not
- 12:48gonna shoot. You know. It was just crazy, you know, it
- 12:50was just like nothing. You know, I'm waiting and at about at about
- 12:56four or fifteen, I start getting some action behind me. I'm facing west,
- 13:03I'm on the east side of power line and I'm facing west. Whatever
- 13:05this is. Something's coming in behind me, and it's sounds pretty heavy,
- 13:11whatever it is, and you know, it's you know it was I knew.
- 13:16I thought it was a big hog at first. That's what I thought
- 13:18it was, you know, because it wasn't like coming in fast. It
- 13:22was just like crunch crunch on two legs. Yeah. But but I wasn't
- 13:31really paying attention to buy pedal back then. You know, I didn't even
- 13:35you know, I didn't even believe in big foot or nothing like that.
- 13:39I'm pretty sure I didn't. You know that. Well, it definitely wasn't
- 13:43on my on my radar, you know what I'm saying. You know,
- 13:46I've been in I've been I've been in these woods all my life, you
- 13:50know, and it's you know, it finally comes out to the right of
- 13:54me, and it's gets thirty to forty yards to my right and it just
- 14:00stops. And I'm looking for this thing and I can't see it because whatever
- 14:03it is, it's it's up under all that undergrowth. They didn't burn it
- 14:07that year. You know, I'm way up over it looking down at it,
- 14:09but I still can't see what it is. And all of a sudden,
- 14:15it stops and I start hearing this like heavy breathing, like almost like
- 14:18labored breathing. And the first thing I thought is, maybe this is a
- 14:24deer or maybe this is a hog that got shot, and you know,
- 14:28this thing's gonna die on the side. I mean, maybe that's you know,
- 14:31the lungs filling up in the blood. I mean a blood filling up
- 14:35in a lung. Sorry, I understood what you're saying. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:43yeah, yeah, I always getting nervous. I always get nervous when
- 14:45I talk about this. Yeah, I can understand. So anyways, you
- 14:52know, that went on for like a minute, minute and a half and
- 14:54that was it. You know, then it just got dead quiet, and
- 14:58I'm thinking to myself, wow, you know, that kind of sucks.
- 15:00I didn't even get the chance to see what it was or anything. So,
- 15:03you know, I came to terms of it. I said, it's
- 15:05probably it's probably a buck or you know, a hog, and it probably
- 15:09seen me or winded me, and it just slipped out and I didn't hear
- 15:11it. You know, one of them kind of things. So, you
- 15:15know, I just kind of gave up on that. Be Rob, what's
- 15:18up? Anyways, I'm sorry. I know these people Bed. I'd like
- 15:24to say hello, I to him, I know, and I want to
- 15:26we gotta thank Long Island big Foot for that superstiger. Thank you, thank
- 15:30you, Mike, and he says, thank you for your service, brother
- 15:33Red Creek Mafia boots boots on the ground. I got it. Okay,
- 15:39all right, go ahead, go ahead, mikey Creek Mike. So anyways,
- 15:45yeah, so I pretty much just gave up on a situation. And
- 15:48I'm facing west and it gets to be about ten to fifteen minutes later,
- 15:54and it's that time of the day when the sun is just up over the
- 15:58trees, and now I'm being blinded by the sun, and you know,
- 16:00I can't see anything. You know. I got my height down and I
- 16:03got my hands trying to look on the power line, you know, stuff
- 16:07like that, and all of a sudden, in my right peripheal, I
- 16:10catch something black on the power line. It's on all fours, and uh,
- 16:18I can't see it too good because of the son, you know.
- 16:22So yeah, I went to my gun and I had to. You know,
- 16:29it was weird because this thing was on the right. It was one
- 16:30hundred about one hundred and fifty yards down the power lines on the north on
- 16:33the north end. So I had to finagle my way because and go left
- 16:37handed to look through my scope and I'm right handed, and uh, I
- 16:42couldn't. I couldn't. I couldn't find him. You know. It was
- 16:45like it was like weird, you know, trying to find him. And
- 16:51uh, when I finally did, Uh, this thing is now sitting down
- 16:56like a person. It looked like a just a big, gigantic person sitting
- 17:00and down, had his knees up, and the first thing I noticed was
- 17:03his left hand was digging in the ground. I don't know if he was
- 17:06digging for bugs or whatever it was, but it was very peculiar to me.
- 17:11I'm still not thinking bigfoot. I'm thinking bear because we do have black
- 17:15bear here. We don't have like a high abundance of them, but we
- 17:19do have him. I've I've caught him a trail cam before. They usually
- 17:22have like an orange collar on where the state released it, and that's what
- 17:27I thought it was. Yeah, this one didn't have an orange collar on
- 17:32it. There's no orange collar. No, no, not at all,
- 17:38so anything, you know, I'm The first thing I noticed was the hair
- 17:41on its back. It wasn't like it was long, man, it was
- 17:47like it wasn't like fur. It wasn't like the double undercoat of a dog
- 17:52or a bear. It was like hair, like like human hair, long
- 17:56like Nikki six Motley crew. Sure enough, hair on its back. I
- 18:02panned up to I panned up to the top of his head, and that's
- 18:07when I started getting freaked out a little bit. It was the hair on
- 18:11the head wasn't wasn't long like the hair on the back. It was short
- 18:15and spiky, very very gorilla looking, very very very gorilla looking. He
- 18:22did have the conical shape of the head, but it did It wasn't like
- 18:25dramatic, It didn't go up to a point like a football, but it
- 18:27was there, you know, And I started getting freaked out. You know,
- 18:33I'm thinking, you know, what is this? You know, what's
- 18:36going on? What am I? What am I looking at here kind of
- 18:38thing? And he turned his head to the left a little bit, and
- 18:44it and just even the way he turned his head was like robotic. It
- 18:47was like weird and that's when I got to you know, I got to
- 18:51see the side of his face. His face was pronounced black like black black
- 18:56like during this whole encounter that the blackest part of his body was his face,
- 19:00no doubt about it. Wow, it looked like it looked like somebody
- 19:04painted his face like like black like my watch. Yeah, h could you
- 19:11see teeth? Not? Not? Not? Then? Not? Then?
- 19:15The first thing I seen was a piece of his eye, as eye was
- 19:18solid black too. No whites during this encounter. I didn't see any pupils
- 19:25or anything either. I seen a piece of the nose. Then, you
- 19:29know, I'm looking for a muzzle. I'm you know, I'm thinking bared
- 19:32the whole time. I didn't get a muzzle. I've seen side of a
- 19:34hooded nose like ours, uh, much more flared out, more thicker.
- 19:40And I've seen a piece of the mouth. And that's pretty much when I
- 19:45lost my cookie. And I you know, I yelled at it because I
- 19:48didn't know what it was. And you know, I just said, hey,
- 19:52I can't Yeah, I didn't. Well, it just it was just
- 19:56had a pure desperation, you know, just the unknown that you know,
- 20:00the unknown I knew I wasn't going to be able to, you know,
- 20:06stay still because I you know, I was shaking out my boots the whole
- 20:07time. And uh when I did dapt, this thing all in one motion,
- 20:12put its hands on the ground and popped on the two legs like it
- 20:15was nothing, Like it was nothing. Wow. Wow, Look how how
- 20:22how much do you think this thing weighed? I would I would say I
- 20:29would say in between nine to twelve hundred pounds. He looked like he looked
- 20:38he looked like a Brahma bull on two legs. Uh. Wow. During
- 20:45this encounter, there was there was I'm gonna get to it, but there
- 20:48was this dogwood tree that he kept ducking up under. He wasn't like ducking
- 20:52his hole. He wasn't moving his whole body, just kind of moving his
- 20:56head around it. And when I went back to get my stuff sometime lay
- 21:00or that that branch was eight foot easy, and he was just moving his
- 21:03head around it. So he was in between eight and eight and nine foot.
- 21:08Yeah, it's pretty big. So yeah, so he pops up onto
- 21:15a two feet and he starts like walking in this funny like funny like oval
- 21:21circle and he's looking you know, he's scanning in the woods, and you
- 21:23know, he keeps looking south and north down the power lines. He'd looked
- 21:26my way, and the second time he looked my way, his eyes got
- 21:30really big, and I'm leaving something out. When he popped him, when
- 21:37he popped onto two feet, that's when he screamed the first time. And
- 21:42it's the screen that everybody talks about, you know, the difference between a
- 21:45lion and in an elephant, or being like at a rock concert next to
- 21:51a speaker. You can you can feel the vibration off of it. Yeah,
- 21:56the second time when he looked my way, I get I guess I
- 22:00gave my possession away and he You know, if you ever see like the
- 22:04Patterson Gilman footage or the Freeman footage, it's always them, you know,
- 22:08walking away. They don't they don't want to be seen. It was reverse.
- 22:12It was reversing that he walked straight to me, straight to me.
- 22:17Oh yeah, that's not good. Yeah, I'm actually pretty chill right now.
- 22:23Usually I get shook up talking about this, but I'm pretty chilled today
- 22:26for some reason. That's good. Well, you know, okay, so
- 22:33you encountered an alpha is what you encountered right there? An alpha taskquatch.
- 22:37I guess they're the ones that they look come right at you. So,
- 22:45yeah, we try to I try to stay clear of those if I can
- 22:48help it. Yeah, So he starts walking to me, and the motionless
- 22:53things making when it's walking to me, it was like I always tell people,
- 22:57it looked like the way he was swinging his arms, it was almost
- 23:02like he was on a pair of snow skis or like an elliptical machine,
- 23:06the way he was walking. And when I started seeing that, I looked
- 23:10down at my gun. You know, I had a seven millimeter magnum and
- 23:15I just unbolted the chamber just to make sure I had one in there.
- 23:18You know, I didn't dumb up because I was pretty sure I was gonna
- 23:21have to shoot this thing. And uh, you know, I slammed it
- 23:26back shut. And that that took no time. We're talking four seconds tops,
- 23:30maybe five. That's given it a lot. And then that amount of
- 23:34time, this thing is now thirty yards in front of me, stopped and
- 23:38looking at me from one hundred and fifty yards away. Now you now you
- 23:41explain that to me? Yeah, yeah, you know, I couldn't.
- 23:49I couldn't five of it. When he got to me, I put him
- 23:52back in the scope and he just looked like a big black blob. So
- 23:56I had to power my scope back down and that's when I really got the
- 23:59scene really good. Uh. The face, the face, Uh, he
- 24:04was looking at me. But what I want to tell everybody, I try
- 24:08not to lead this out, is when he was looking at me, it
- 24:11was like, this wasn't a stupid animal. This, this was a thinking
- 24:15being. This you know, there was thought there, like almost like he
- 24:19didn't know what he was looking at, if that makes sense. Yeah,
- 24:27yeah, this was this was This wasn't no, you know, something stupid
- 24:33out of a zoo or and I don't I don't like to call any animal
- 24:36stupid, but you know what I mean, this was a clear thinking being,
- 24:41Like like he was looking at me and there was you could tell there
- 24:44was deep thought right there. Did it have human qualities about it at all,
- 24:48like any kind of human attributes to its face? Yes, very much,
- 24:55so, very much so. The eyes, the eyes were very human
- 25:00to me. They were more because I don't know if that's you know,
- 25:04I've seen pictures nighttime pictures of sasquatch facing and you can actually see the pupil
- 25:10and all that, but I couldn't. I don't know if I don't know
- 25:11if that if that black is something protective for the daytime, I'm not sure.
- 25:18But it was it was, uh, it wasn't. It was like
- 25:22he had black marbles in his eyes, you know, for eyes. But
- 25:25they weren't completely round either. They were more like like an almond shape like
- 25:29that. Yeah, yeah, so and yeah, And I noticed the hands,
- 25:37like the palms of his hands went past his knees a little bit and
- 25:40his hands were huge. His his hands. If you ever, I'm sure
- 25:45you've seen it. You've been in this field a long time, you know,
- 25:48the yet he handed to have and in the glass case, you know,
- 25:52I'm talking about that. That's a that's accurate of how how long their
- 25:56fingers are. But this their conference of the fingers were like small little bananas
- 26:02that they were big. The fingernails were short, jacked up like you know,
- 26:06he was like somebody that's in heavy construction. Just just maybe they buy
- 26:11them off, you know, I'm not sure. Oh yeah, I guess
- 26:14they've got to. They don't have nail clippers out there, probably no that,
- 26:18or they just work with their hands so much you know, well what
- 26:25did you Okay, I know I asked about if you saw teeth earlier?
- 26:26Could you see its teeth at any point? I'm thinking about biting nails and
- 26:30stuff, So I'm trying to think, like are they square or were they
- 26:33they have did they have canines that came down like some people claimed to see.
- 26:38Nope, okay he did. He did like h during this and kind
- 26:41of you know, there was a lot that went on in a short amount
- 26:45of time in this. He did like a yawn and you know, I've
- 26:49talked to people they say that, you know, primates do that, you
- 26:52know, when they're nervous and stuff, they'll do like a yawn. He
- 26:55could have been just barreling his teeth at me, but it looked more to
- 26:57me like a yawn. And when he did that, that's when I seen
- 27:02his teeth really good. They were like ours that they were white. Uh.
- 27:06Actually, his teeth weren't that bad looking, to be honest with you.
- 27:08I didn't see like bad two decay and stuff like that. They were.
- 27:12That's why I'm thinking he might have not been a younger one not not
- 27:17not a juvenile, but you know what I mean, Like, you know,
- 27:21yeah, yeah. Wow, they were like ours. They were They
- 27:26were like square, big white square chicklets in his mouth. And I could
- 27:30still I can remember seeing his gums too. His gums were uh, his
- 27:33gums were either dark purple or black. Going back to the hands. If
- 27:40going back to the hands, if you look at your fingernail, you know
- 27:42how you have the little white moons in there, you know I'm talking about
- 27:47he had, He had them. He had them. Wow, you see
- 27:49it. That was so close to you. Yeah, the meat and the
- 27:55meat and the finger you know, you know we the meat around the white
- 28:00moons. It was it was like the guns. It was like dark purple
- 28:03meat. I can remember that. Wow. Yeah. And every now and
- 28:08then he would like shuffle a certain way that would that would throw me off,
- 28:11and I would go to draw down on him, and I had I
- 28:15had to gun on him the whole time. But when I say draw down
- 28:18on him, you know, getting ready like I'm fixing to shoot this thing.
- 28:21And when I did that, he would turn his head to the side
- 28:23like like one eye would be looking at the ground and one would be looking
- 28:27dead at me. And he was definitely giving me the look like don't you
- 28:33do it? Do not do that. That's why I think, that's why
- 28:37I think these things know what they are for sure? Did it okay?
- 28:41Smedley do Right has a question in the chat, did it mind speak to
- 28:44you? Did you hear an invoice or it was just a projection of energy
- 28:48kind of like you just knew. I didn't hear mine speak. It just
- 28:52just that look, like like just to look like I know what that is,
- 28:57and you're not going to use that thing that could bom boom stick.
- 29:02Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Jessica. That happened probably four or
- 29:08five times during this encounter. How long? How long would your encounter from
- 29:15the time I first seen him till the time I got to my truck,
- 29:19well, just seeing him the whole time, probably about twenty five minutes.
- 29:26Okay, about twenty five minutes is a very long time. That is way
- 29:29long. It's an internet that that had to affected you, so but I
- 29:34had no idea it was that long. I must have missed that part of
- 29:37the story. My goodness. Twenty five minutes. That that is an attorney.
- 29:41I mean, just two minutes seems like an hour when you're in a
- 29:45position like that. Wow, I would have to I would have to say,
- 29:48from the time I seen him till the time I got to my truck
- 29:52was probably give or take shoot, probably forty five fifty minutes, because you
- 30:00know, I had I had to get you know, I had to walk
- 30:07a long way to get back. So anyways, when you were leaving.
- 30:12But I know you'll get it. But I was just curious. He didn't
- 30:17another one did another one? Another one paralleled me out, which which which
- 30:25I think at the time, I didn't know. At the time, I
- 30:29didn't know it was another one. I thought it was like a deer or
- 30:32something running from this thing, you know, doing the same thing I was
- 30:34doing. But it was another one of them, for sure. You know.
- 30:41So this is I'm about to get to the climax. I'm gonna take
- 30:45a little drink of water. Okay, take your time, take your time.
- 30:52This is fantastic because we don't hear up close and personal stories every day.
- 30:56I mean, I have one of my best friends. His name's Matthew
- 31:00delf He is a big foot field researcher out of Virginia, and he goes
- 31:03out with my team. I see Greg Ogles in here too. He comes
- 31:07out with my team too. What's up, Greg? He's in the chat
- 31:10today. Uh but but Matthew has a story similar to yours. But what
- 31:15he saw it like a neringa team kind of. I'd love to hear it.
- 31:23Yeah, I'll leave you guys up. Oh absolutely, thank you.
- 31:27I'm looking. I'm I'm I'm looking for people. You know, when I
- 31:30first started doing this, I had like tons and tons, you know,
- 31:34I just had to find time. Now it's like trying to find somebody's like
- 31:38needling a haystack because you just run out of people. Man, Oh no,
- 31:42you don't really run out of people. You know the right folks that
- 31:45know folks. So yeah, I mean I've I've got I've got several research
- 31:49teams that I go out with, so I don't I don't ever have a
- 31:52problem finding people for this show. We have great stories, you know.
- 31:56We I like bringing people like you on my show, Oh, Mike,
- 32:00because you have such a great story to tell. And uh, and that's
- 32:04that's It's something that can help everybody by hearing your story in many ways.
- 32:12So, you know, I started noticing that the sun is now passed the
- 32:16trees and it's gonna set, and this thing starts acting like he's getting ants
- 32:22in his pants. You know, he he was walking around a little bit,
- 32:27and he never would get any closer than like thirty yards, but he
- 32:30never would get any further away. There was like he was standing under the
- 32:32ground. So, you know, I started thinking to myself, you know
- 32:40when it when it gets pitch black dark, you know, he's not going
- 32:45anywhere. He this thing's not doing anything, and I can't just get get
- 32:51out of my tree, and you know it's gonna be and maybe this thing
- 32:53that you know, that's what it's doing, It's waiting for it to get
- 32:55dark, so this thing can jump up here and kill me or shake me
- 33:00out or whatever, you know, whatever. I think it. I've seen
- 33:07I've seen a question it says, so was it male? I think it
- 33:12was. I don't remember seeing body parts and stuff like that in the gentle
- 33:14day area. So to answer that question, usually the alta males do what
- 33:20that one did to you, and so I would assume that was a male
- 33:22too. M h, I think so too. So it got to a
- 33:29point where I had to make a choice, you know, a choice I
- 33:32didn't want to make, and I put him back in the scope for the
- 33:38last time, and I drew down on him and this time. He didn't
- 33:42turn his head to decide. He just looked at me like a confused kid.
- 33:46And uh, I put. I put the crosshairs right not not right
- 33:54between his eyes, up on his forehead a little bit, and I just
- 33:59kind of just side and disbelief, you know, And I went to squeeze
- 34:04off man, just how I was taught. And I got about halfway through
- 34:07to squeeze and I couldn't do it. M hm, oh good god.
- 34:15Could you not do it? Because first of all, I know you're a
- 34:16hunter, but it was a human attributes to It had to be a factor,
- 34:21was it. Yeah, yes, humanity kicked in, you know.
- 34:24I started thinking, Yeah, you know, this has got to be some
- 34:29kind of person. You know this is you know, we just don't know
- 34:34about this kind of people or whatever it is. And I'm pretty sure at
- 34:37the time I knew what it was. I don't remember thinking that, but
- 34:43I couldn't do it, and I got really upset after I couldn't do it,
- 34:45you know, I just kind of put my gun and stood up and
- 34:51put my arms out to him and I just screamed at him again. I
- 34:53just said, what do you want? You know, I'm sure there was
- 34:57a f bomb in there. I'm sure there was plenty a profan, plenty
- 35:00of profanity. I just don't want to say it. Wow. Wow,
- 35:07So how did it react to you when you screamed yeah, that's yeah,
- 35:15yeah, he's screamed back. And when he did it's it's you know,
- 35:19it's uh. I hope you never have to see that, Jessica, at
- 35:22least the way he did it. Anyways, it was like a draw up
- 35:27from the gut. And when he turned it loose on me, I'm thirty
- 35:30yards I'm thirty yards away, I'm ninety feet away and just thirty foot up
- 35:35a tree. That's close. It looked like his eyes, his nose,
- 35:42and his mouth just went to one protruded out about twelve inches from his face
- 35:49and was just like very distorted, looking like just a bunch of flapping meat,
- 35:53is what it looked like. And then when he was done, everything
- 35:58went back to normal. Everything went back to normal on his face. When
- 36:02when I was overseas, when a bomb would go off, Okay, it
- 36:06could go off a mile away and you know you're safe because it's a mile
- 36:08away, but you can still feel the heat off of it. That that's
- 36:13what that's the way it felt. It felt like it was going to knock
- 36:15me out of the tree. He goes back down to all fours in Paul's
- 36:23ass across the power lines. Okay, now he's on the south side,
- 36:28and now he is talking. You know, he's doing that that gibberish debt
- 36:31that you know, he's doing all that, And then like every fifteen seconds,
- 36:38he turns that same screen screen loose. He's ripping up gallberry bushes,
- 36:43buy the roots and chunking them out in the middle of the power line.
- 36:46I made him mad there. There was something that I did that he didn't
- 36:52like, and that triggered him. And he's knocking trees down. He's not
- 36:57knocking like huge three hundred year old yellow pines down, but he's knocking small
- 37:01stuff down back there. And it basically sounded like a bushog going through the
- 37:07woods, is what it sounded like. And every now and then I would
- 37:10see i'd see like a piece of his shoulder or a piece of his head.
- 37:15But he's going further north away from me, and you know, by
- 37:20this time, I'm standing up in my stand, I got my gun,
- 37:22and I'm you know, I'm trying to find this guy. I'm like,
- 37:25holy shit, he's gonna kill me. He's gonna kill me. He's gonna
- 37:28kill me. And at some point I want to I want to say,
- 37:32somewhere around on the north end of the power line. He pops back on
- 37:38my side, and it was so fast, it was just like a black
- 37:42blur. Just now he's on my side again, and he's yelling, screaming,
- 37:46doing everything, but he's gaining distance. He's on my side. I'm
- 37:50on the east side of the power line, but he's going north away from
- 37:52me. At this point I can't see him. And then just everything stops.
- 37:57Everything stops and gets really quiet. I'm like, now is the time
- 38:00that I need to get out of my tree. But I kept, you
- 38:05know, psyching myself out. I'm like, yeah, I'm getting down.
- 38:07No, i gotta stay up, Mikey, gotta get No, I'm staying
- 38:10up. You know. That went on for just a few minutes, and
- 38:14then all of a sudden, I hear this like pronounced like like fresh fresh
- 38:21fresh tree break like that that green that green snap crackle pop, and it
- 38:27sounded to be about two hundred yards of Wait. When I heard that,
- 38:30I said, that's got to be him. I'm going down. I get
- 38:34down my tree, and now I'm running for my life on the power lines.
- 38:37I've got about ever take. I've I've got three quarters of a mile
- 38:42to get to my truck. Yeah, at least that. So I'm running
- 38:47down these power lines and I keep you know, oh yeah. As soon
- 38:52as I hit the power lines, it's it's like this thing new. I
- 38:54got out my stand and he roared, and I'm looking behind me to see
- 39:00if I can see him, and I and I cannot see him. And
- 39:04I'm running down these power lines, you know, full adrenaline at this point,
- 39:07just going and I wasn't in the best shape. You know, I
- 39:09wasn't in the best shape back then. You know, I was a little
- 39:13heavy back then. So you know, I got whooped. After about one
- 39:15hundred and fifty yards, I got whooped. And you know, a fast
- 39:19run, a fast run, went to a you know, a very fast
- 39:22walk, and you are running for your life, yeah, for sure.
- 39:29And then he screamed again, and I looked behind and I could not seem
- 39:32but it sounded like he was gaining distance. You know, he would scream,
- 39:37but you know, it just kept sounding further and further away, and
- 39:38I'm sure it was just because I was running away from him and he was
- 39:43not pursuing me. So there was a point where I stopped and I heard
- 39:47something crash in the bushes next to me, east side of the power line,
- 39:53about forty foot in the in the bushes, not far at all.
- 39:58I hear something crash. So I picked up my walk and now I have
- 40:04something forty feet from me in the woods matching me step for step. I
- 40:10stop, it stops and you and I knew it was something after the first
- 40:14couple of times, because when I would stop, it would take like that
- 40:15one extra step, so I knew something was there. Yeah, so yeah,
- 40:27I didn't. I didn't think big foot. I thought it. I
- 40:29thought this was maybe a some other animal running from this thing like I was
- 40:34doing. You know, That's what I thought it was. And on this
- 40:38power line on about halfway I always call it to halfway point, there's like
- 40:45this little weird growth that comes out of the woods onto the path. I
- 40:47always call it like the island. It's like a small little plateau and it's
- 40:52got like a bunch of little pine tree pine tree sapplands on it. That
- 40:55was like always a marker for me you know, I'm either halfway to my
- 41:00stand, I'm halfway to my truck. You know, I've always used that,
- 41:05and I've seen it coming up, but it was still a good ways.
- 41:07So I started running. And now this thing seems like it's closing in
- 41:14on me, like the further I go, you know, it's it seems
- 41:20like whatever this is, it's going to intercept me when I get to this
- 41:22plateau, you know, because the way the woods are shaped, this thing's
- 41:27gonna have to reveal itself or it's gonna have to go further in the woods
- 41:29to hide. And I'm telling you, Jessica, it got dramatic. Every
- 41:32now and then I can hear him. Well, I'll steal back there screaming.
- 41:38And now I got something else closing in on me. And I got
- 41:44just about to the little plateau, and I'm telling you, it got so
- 41:47close to me. I can see the bush is moving, but I couldn't
- 41:52see it. And I had enough, and I just cracked a shot in
- 41:55the air. When I did that, everything stopped. Everything stopped. I
- 42:01crossed the plateau and I started, you know, running again, and I
- 42:06no longer heard this thing parallel in me, and he shut up back there
- 42:10too. I can remember crossing a huge hill and I seen I've seen my
- 42:19truck finally, you know, still way down there. You know, I
- 42:21could just see like the roof of my truck. And the sun has done
- 42:23set. The sun has done set. I'm you know, I can I
- 42:28can still see, but I'm in nautical twilight, you know. Yeah,
- 42:32And I seen my truck. And when I seen my truck, I caught
- 42:37another gear I didn't know I had, you know before, yeah, yeah,
- 42:43before I knew it. Before I knew it. I was at my
- 42:46truck and I kept tell him, you know, I was telling myself,
- 42:51getting your truck and get out of here. You know, don't don't stick
- 42:52around, don't let curiosity get the best of you. You know, this
- 42:55out and the other and this road that I came in on was a very
- 43:00narrow little dirt road that I came in on. Like if there would have
- 43:05been another vehicle coming, you know, the other person has to pull off
- 43:08on the ditch and let the other one pass. You know, that's how
- 43:10narrow it is. Oh yeah, Well it had just got through rain in
- 43:15a couple of days before that, and there was like bad mud holes and
- 43:17stuff like that this road makes a call to sack. You know, you
- 43:23drive about two miles down the road and then you turn around and you have
- 43:28to pass back through. I wasn't doing that. There was no way I
- 43:30was going to pass back through there. So I backed my truck up in
- 43:34the ditch and I just about got stuck. I mean just about. It
- 43:37was that would that would have been lovely. Hey, But Mike, at
- 43:42least you were in your truck, okay, So I know how it feels.
- 43:45It feels so much better sometimes when you're having a lot of activity out
- 43:49in the field, there's big foots everywhere. If you can, if I
- 43:52could just get into my truck, sometimes it's just the safety and comfort of
- 43:55being inside a big metal vessel's way better than being a sitting duck out there
- 44:00in the field. So I can only imagine the relief you found. And
- 44:05did you have your keys on you? I'm assuming I would be so worried
- 44:08about my keys and thinking about all sorts of stuff as I was running.
- 44:14No. I get to my truck and I stuck my key to unlock my
- 44:16truck, and I heard one I heard another scream, but it was way
- 44:21way way back there, and it was way different. It wasn't like a
- 44:25roar. It was like it was weird. It was like a baboon screech.
- 44:30And at the end of it was like a crack of a whip.
- 44:35That's what it sounded like, Like somebody shot a gun, but it wasn't
- 44:39a gun. It was like it was a scream. Yeah. Wow,
- 44:45it was way different than the other one. Yeah, it made noises that.
- 44:50It just doesn't seem humanly possible. I mean, I've we've had things
- 44:53scream at us that it sounds like a woman kind of but it's not a
- 44:58human and it's not an animal. But it's like a between all of it.
- 45:00It's just it's indescribable. Really, it's hard to describe it and I
- 45:04cannot imitate it in any former fashion. When when when he when Another thing
- 45:09I want to talk about is when he was talking they it sounded like he
- 45:15had a double set of vocal cords. It was him talking, but it
- 45:17sounded like two people talking over each other. That's what it sounded like.
- 45:23Wow. Yeah, I've heard the Sierra Sounds Ron Moorehead and his buddy recorded
- 45:30back in the seventies, I think, and I've heard them personally screaming and
- 45:35talking and whooping and hollering, of course, but it sounds like they call
- 45:39it samurai chatter, okay. And there's a reason for that because it sounds
- 45:43like archaic Japanese. Sometimes there's all different types of dialects Our Scott Nelson,
- 45:51who is buddies with Ron moorehead, he deciphered all of those sounds from the
- 45:57Sierra Sounds and found phenones and stuff. I mean, it is like they
- 46:00have their own language. It's literally a language. If you listen to all
- 46:06all of the Sierra Sounds, you can hear some broken English in there too,
- 46:08and you can hear some bad language in there too. You can hear
- 46:13some f bonds in there. You're you're muted, I said, yeah,
- 46:21I'm sorry. I was. I got my fan in here. I was
- 46:22wondering if they have Southern accents or Northern accents. What do you think I'm
- 46:28thinking. I think I think they just have their own accent they do.
- 46:32I know there's a little bit of northern and Southern in there. Long Island.
- 46:37Yeah. So you know, I was making my way out of this
- 46:42area and I'm I'm pedal to the metal, man, I'm I'm this is
- 46:46nothing but dirt roads getting in this place. And you know, every left
- 46:51and right turn ass into my truck is swinging around. You know. There's
- 46:54a couple of times I almost went into a couple of pine trees trying to
- 46:57get out of there. And I finally hit laptop and I'm on Highway twenty
- 47:00six and I got to I've got the pedal to the metal man and uh
- 47:07going as fast as my truck at the time would go. And uh,
- 47:10I finally caught Highway fifteen back to the Mississippi coast because I you know,
- 47:15I live in a city. I'm you know, I'm I'm okay. I'm
- 47:19probably about an hour and ten minutes away from you know where I live.
- 47:23And uh, well, what used to take me an hour and ten minutes
- 47:28took me about forty five minutes. You know, I live. I live
- 47:32in town. I live in Biloxi. It's a casino town. It's a
- 47:36you know, it's metropolitan. You know. You know, I live in
- 47:39a neighborhood. I've got neighbors up the butt, you know what I mean.
- 47:44And uh, I still was psyching myself out to get out of my
- 47:47truck. And I'm in my I'm home. Really yeah. Wow. I
- 47:54get home and I can just remember I was getting really tired and I threw
- 48:00my just threw my gun on my bed, and I jumped in the shower
- 48:04and just laid there in a fetal position, you know, trying to make
- 48:07sense of what happened to me for about an hour and I got out and
- 48:12I can remember just crashing out, you know, crashing and uh. I
- 48:16woke up the next day on the couch and I was like, I thought
- 48:22it was a dream. I thought all that was a dream. And I
- 48:27got to my room and I seen my gun on my bed. I was
- 48:30like, wow, and uh, it did a lot to me for for
- 48:35for a long time. Man. It was PTSD on top of PTSD for
- 48:39sure. And you had spent several, uh several deployments over in the Middle
- 48:47East in the military, and uh so you you had probably had PTSD from
- 48:52those experiences, and then you had this happened. I had to been a
- 49:00lot. How how soon after you had returned from the Middle East did you
- 49:05have this encounter sixteen years later? Okay, wow, So yeah, I
- 49:14was gonna say that, you know, I've seen the worst, you know,
- 49:16long Island. Big Foot can tell you the same thing. We've seen
- 49:20the worst of what the world got to offer. Dead kids did, dead
- 49:24mom and dad on the side of the road, bloated with maggots on him.
- 49:28I'm not going to go any further than that, but you know,
- 49:30it's terrible. It's still it still didn't scare me like that did m Wow?
- 49:38Wow? And you're you're you saw something that's not supposed to exist,
- 49:43and that is extremely traumatic for a lot of people. Seeing a monster basically
- 49:50in the three D flesh and blood reality. Very robotic looking the way he
- 49:55walked. Wow, very you know. And you know, some people say
- 50:02that I had the jack Pot encounter. I don't consider it that. Yeah,
- 50:07I consider it. It's a good thing. I'm not dead. Oh
- 50:13yeah, yeah. You talk about it being robotic in nature, looking robotic,
- 50:17I've actually seen not only sas squatch, but I've seen ets up close
- 50:23within feet of me, and they do not move like any kind of human
- 50:28or animal at all. They move differently, and and it's very it's hard
- 50:34to understand what you're looking at because it's nothing that your brain's familiar with.
- 50:42I do have a question in the chat, Go ahead, go ahead.
- 50:45I made you the question, Yeah, go ahead. While dissension asked,
- 50:51were there any fresh animal carcasses nearby that morning when head your encounter? No,
- 50:59not that morning, But I'll tell you what. They've always been around
- 51:02and I just didn't know what it was. I'll tell you what it is.
- 51:08Uh. You know, I've heard, I've heard. I've heard the
- 51:14whoops my whole life, and I just never knew what that was. I
- 51:17you know, once I heard the more head whoops and whoops off of others
- 51:22encounters and stuff like that. I've heard that a punch, and I just
- 51:24never knew what it was. I thought it was like some weird nocturnal bird
- 51:29because i'd usually eat either hear it right before dark, or I would hear
- 51:32it right before the sun comes up when on hunts and in the tree knocks,
- 51:39the tree knocks. I've heard that my whole life, and I've always
- 51:44blamed that on either somebody else in the woods or I'm maybe I'm closer to
- 51:51somebody's property than I think I am. But I've heard, I've heard meeting
- 51:57on trees my whole life. For wow, I mean, you got to
- 52:01think about all the times. But when you're unaware of what's really out there.
- 52:07You chalk it up to being something that you can rationalize, like,
- 52:10oh, it's just a woodpecker, you know, what is that? The
- 52:14eight hundred pound owl out there hooting and hollering, you know, it's uh,
- 52:20it's and unless you know what to listen for, and except the idea
- 52:25that potentially Bigfoot Steven exists, your your rational brain kicks in and you always
- 52:30have an excuse. That's why that's what the majority of the population does.
- 52:35They rationalize it as to being something that they're familiar with, you know.
- 52:43Uh, even the barred owl. I've heard that before too, and I
- 52:47and I thought it was somebody trying to imitate it because they don't finish the
- 52:52trail, you know, they don't finish though, oh yeah, it sounds
- 52:58like, yeah, it just sounds like somebody's just trying to And there was
- 53:01another situation and I haven't I just started talking about this that happened about ten
- 53:09years before my encounter. I was deer hunting one time and there was this
- 53:15deer that I was trying. I was after him, and I watched this
- 53:17deer, you know, grow for like three years, like the first year
- 53:22he was like a little small six point. Second year he was like a
- 53:24little basket rack eight point, and then the third year he was a nice,
- 53:29big, mature nine point. And I'm telling you, man, I
- 53:32spent I put a lot of money into this guy. Man, and I
- 53:36killed this guy. I watched this I shot him dead, and I watched
- 53:42him flip over on his back and kick himself limp. And I was sitting
- 53:45there looking at him through the scope for about fifteen minutes. Sure enough,
- 53:51dead eyes open everything. I called people on the phone. I'm like,
- 53:54man, you gotta come help me drag because I didn't have my deer cart
- 53:57that day. And yeah, man, I can't believe I always I never
- 54:04talked about this, but it makes a lot of sense now. So you
- 54:07know I didn't rush down my tree. It wasn't even close to dark yet.
- 54:10You know, I killed this dear like thirty minutes after I got up
- 54:15the tree and I could see him. It was thick and there where I
- 54:19killed him. But I you know, once you're up in the tree,
- 54:22you know you can see real good. When you get down on the ground,
- 54:23all the stuff's like up over your head and you just gotta make your
- 54:27way to it and I said, you know, I finally said, you
- 54:30know, I'm gonna go check this thing out. And uh I get over
- 54:34there and there's like a huge pile of blood, huge just where he was
- 54:37laying, and he was gone, gone, it stole your dear, So
- 54:46it had it had to been. You know, I know, I know
- 54:52I'm a good tracker. You know, you know I've I've tracked deer in
- 54:55my whole life, and you know, I learned how to track in the
- 54:59military too, And uh I was on my hands and knees looking for any
- 55:02little pin drop after after that, you know, I had a team of
- 55:07people out there with me, like six people, and we we combed the
- 55:12area. The only blood was in that spot where he laid and died.
- 55:15It's it's almost like somebody took like a big piece of plastic, wrapped this
- 55:21thing up and walked it out to where it wouldn't drip no blood. That's
- 55:27a true story. Oh yeah, Wow, we have flat Rock in the
- 55:31chat today. Hey, flat Rock, it's good to see you here.
- 55:35He says he personally considers seeing these critters the worst thing to ever happen to
- 55:38me and my family. That's really that, that's tough. That's really tough.
- 55:43And I think that's the case for a lot of people. Flat rock
- 55:46and Mike Mike. So yeah, I'm just gonna say I was just gonna
- 55:52say flat rocks, my buddy. Oh yeah, I love me some flat
- 55:55rock. Yes, So Mike, you you have your the way you look
- 56:00at this, it's very similar to flat rock. Right, It wasn't a
- 56:04very it wasn't a good experience. And yeah, I think now that i've
- 56:13you know, I've had time to try to decipher, I think this is
- 56:16what happened. And I think that they were doing the same thing I was
- 56:22doing. I think they were hunting. I think I got there before they
- 56:25got there, and he didn't like it, and he showed me. He
- 56:31showed you know, he uh showed me that I wasn't the big guy.
- 56:36He's the big guy. And I think when he was talking, he was
- 56:39talking to the other one that led me out of there. But I definitely
- 56:45do think I was spared. Yes, if they wanted to kill you,
- 56:50they would have killed you. There's yeah, it's just the sheer size of
- 56:54them and the agility and intelligence. You know, they would have had one
- 57:00on you, but they chased you out. They chose to chase you out
- 57:02of there, even after you put your your you know, your side on
- 57:07him and everything. So there's there's got to be some respect there, I
- 57:12guess. I mean, you had mutual respect for each other in the end.
- 57:16Do you remember when I was telling you like his facial expressions, yes,
- 57:22like he didn't know what he was looking at, but he was also
- 57:28given me facial expressions like he was disgusted at what he was looking at.
- 57:35Yeah, you know, like when when a human sees, like, you
- 57:39know, something that they don't like, that's disgusting that that makes him you
- 57:44know, that's the that's the look he like, almost pissed off, but
- 57:47more like disgusted looking. That's that's what I got out of it. But
- 57:53but curious too, curious. Well, at least he spared you that day,
- 58:00and you spared him. Maybe he spared you because you spared him,
- 58:04do you know what I mean? Yeah, Well, the mutual respects.
- 58:07As close as I was in the caliber gun that I had, I mean,
- 58:12I could have blew the top of his head off, there's no doubt
- 58:14about it. But I'm educated. I wouldn't educate it back then. I'm
- 58:19glad I didn't do what I did because there could have been a whole troop
- 58:21in there, and if I wouldn't, if if I wouldn't killed this thing,
- 58:23they would probably probably rip me to pieces. Yeah. I was going
- 58:28to ask you what you thought would have happened had you shot him, and
- 58:32answer already. I think they would have probably pulled all my limbs off.
- 58:39Yeah, probably twist probably twisted my head around a couple of times, That's
- 58:45what I Yeah, well, they've been known to do that. And I
- 58:49know not every not every big foot is sunshine and rainbows, Okay, And
- 58:53that's just the harsh reality of it. They will hurt you, and so
- 58:59I yeah, I don't. I don't recommend that everybody gets out in the
- 59:01woods to go big footing, Okay, unless you're with some very seasoned I
- 59:06want to say, professionals, not that anybody's really professional, but but just
- 59:10hunters and trackers and people that know how to protect you and you can know
- 59:15how to protect yourself out in the woods. Yeah. Wow, this is
- 59:20just an amazing story. I mean, do you have do you have an
- 59:22advice for people that I want to say, if you have any advice for
- 59:27people that are out in the woods and have an encounter like this, What
- 59:30would you tell somebody if they had an encounter. My advice would be two
- 59:37things. Don't look them in the face because they don't like it, And
- 59:42don't engage them because you're you're asking for a lot of trouble. I would
- 59:46say, if one comes through or something, just act like he's not there
- 59:51and hope to God he walks through. Don't don't look at him because when
- 59:55I looked at him in his face a couple of times, you could tell
- 59:59he didn't like it. It's it. And I've heard that, you know,
- 1:00:02after after my encounter, I've heard that that that it's like a show
- 1:00:07of disrespected and the look him dead in the eyes. Wow. Wow,
- 1:00:13that's that's actually good advice from coming from someone who's been there and knows.
- 1:00:19And uh and you got you got the vibe off of it, and uh
- 1:00:22and you are a lucky man. You're lucky man, gonna be live right
- 1:00:25now, and uh, yep, yeah, And I'm proud of you for
- 1:00:30telling your story and coming forward. Yeah, you know, it wasn't it's
- 1:00:37it's not the end of the world. I just I you know, I
- 1:00:38still hunt believe it or not. It took me a couple of years to
- 1:00:42get back in the woods. But yeah, I can't. I can't get
- 1:00:46I can't. I can't get a NAR remote anymore. Like that, I
- 1:00:49can't. I can't get like you know, Jessica that that that was like
- 1:00:53three quarters of a mile from my truck. In the past, I've went
- 1:00:57in three or four. It's just not. Wow. If I got a
- 1:01:04group of people with me and we're doing like research or something like that,
- 1:01:07I'll do it then, you know, But I'm I can't do it anymore
- 1:01:10by myself. Maybe a hundred yards from my truck. That's it. That's
- 1:01:14all I can do. Well. One of the number one rules that my
- 1:01:17team that my teams have, we do not go in the woods alone.
- 1:01:22And we always have a way to protect ourselves in some way, shape or
- 1:01:25form, and we always let somebody know where we're going. Two, we
- 1:01:30never we never go anywhere without like a spot device or something to call for
- 1:01:36help, or our ham radios or something. We never we never do that
- 1:01:39because we know how dangerous it is. And uh and so yeah, I
- 1:01:45know, I know you feel the same. So yeah, yeah, when
- 1:01:47it comes to even when it comes to like this four one one miss and
- 1:01:52stuff. You know, I wouldn't blame it all on Sasquatch, but I'm
- 1:01:54sure maybe some of the rogue ones might have something to do with it,
- 1:01:59you know, the bat because there's there's good, there's good and bad and
- 1:02:01everything. I don't I don't think they're bad. I think they're people just
- 1:02:06like we are. I think, you know, just like we have evil,
- 1:02:08bad people that might be evil bad Sasquatch out there, and it could
- 1:02:13be another thing. These kids that are coming up missing in the state parks,
- 1:02:19I think a lot of that can have do it portals, it can
- 1:02:22It's not all Sasquatch it related. I don't believe. No, I think
- 1:02:29there's a very small percentage would be Sasquatch compared to all the other craziness that's
- 1:02:32out there. I do believe. Here's Greg, Greg's Greg goes out with
- 1:02:37my team. Yeah, never go out alone. He knows better. We
- 1:02:39all know better to do that now. But yeah, it's uh, I
- 1:02:45forgot what I was saying. Sorry, I had one of those brain farts
- 1:02:47the show. Yeah, oh portals, Okay, yeah, absolutely, because
- 1:02:52I saw Greg and I thought of the portal because he's he goes out with
- 1:02:55my team where we encountered that portal. I think I mentioned it to you
- 1:02:59before the show today, But I think a sasquatch is a small percentage of
- 1:03:04the people that are going missing, but I think that they can contribute to
- 1:03:07that. But yeah, I agree. I'm glad you have an open mind
- 1:03:09about all this, So I really appreciate your open mind to things other than
- 1:03:15sasquatch. First of all, just being flesh and bone. What do you
- 1:03:17what do you think about sasquatch being just flesh and bone? Do you think
- 1:03:21that they may have some supernatural abilities as well? I think, just from
- 1:03:29what I can gather, I think that if there's a missing link, that's
- 1:03:32probably it. I would say they're a humid hybrid of some sort. Either
- 1:03:38either they're part of us or we're part of them. For sure, I
- 1:03:45think I agree. I think they're ain't. I think they're ancient. I
- 1:03:49think there's a possibility that they they've been around longer than we have, because
- 1:03:54that's another thing, you know. I he did look human in the face,
- 1:03:59but not a hunt you know, I got more like Neanderthal or more
- 1:04:02like clothes people kind of. But but but then again, very very high
- 1:04:09cheekbones. More native American too that I've seen in there. Oh wow.
- 1:04:15So it's like a really interesting mix, you know. And with those DNA
- 1:04:18studies that Melba Ketcham did, I believe that they came back that it's partly
- 1:04:23human. They have partly human DNA, like half human half half other.
- 1:04:27We just don't know what that other is because there's nothing to compare it to
- 1:04:30you. I would love to dig Melby's brain. Oh right, me too,
- 1:04:38Yeah, me too, that would be that would be a great show.
- 1:04:41But she's she's you know, she's she's fighting a good fight for us,
- 1:04:45she is, and for the big foots. Yeah, yep, I
- 1:04:49think so too. She gets a lot of people that are putting, like
- 1:04:53really trying to put real information out there, real data, real experience as
- 1:04:58they get attacked and and people try to destroy those types of people and uh
- 1:05:03and make them incredible or discredit them, and it's really a shame. It
- 1:05:09really kind of shows you who the who the real ones are in the field
- 1:05:12and who who the not so real ones are in the field. Let's just
- 1:05:15say, yeah, so I've got a little experience with that, and yeah,
- 1:05:20yeah, man, absolutely, I do Mike, this has been amazing.
- 1:05:26I have really really enjoyed having you on here today. And I know
- 1:05:29my my audience has to where can people find you? I unfortunately we've already
- 1:05:34hit the hour mark and uh and so I can't believe how fast this went
- 1:05:39by. But where it is you can go to. You can go to
- 1:05:43YouTube. It's Red Creek Mafia seven seven seven, the three sevens, that's
- 1:05:48biblical. You can go to Twitter, Red Creek Mafia just seven. You
- 1:05:55can go Instagram Red Creek Mafia seven seven seven or Facebook Mike Blueler b l
- 1:06:02e U l e R, or you can go to Yeah, I was
- 1:06:08worried I was page in your name. So you said it right, I
- 1:06:12said it right. Okay, I have a face. I have a big
- 1:06:15foot page on Facebook. I'm in Facebook jail right now, guys, so
- 1:06:18I can't do anything. You're another inmate in the Facebook jail. But I
- 1:06:30do have a big foot page. It's me and Roger Williams. It's called
- 1:06:33uh Mafia in the Holler. That's our big foot page on Facebook. Okay,
- 1:06:42Mafia in the Holler. That doesn't get more country in that. I
- 1:06:45love it. We got hollers here in Georgia two and uh yeah, we
- 1:06:47got a booger holler up here in Rome, Georgia. Booger holler. We
- 1:06:53imagine, imagine what's in that holler. Boogers are usually right, so I'd
- 1:07:00steer clear there if I was the general public, is all I'm saying.
- 1:07:02Yeah, but uh yeah, unless you're super adventurous. But just don't go
- 1:07:06alone, y'all. Okay, don't ever go alone? And uh so,
- 1:07:10yeah, Mike, I love this. Please come back and hang out with

- 1:07:36interview. It was awesome, though. It was so great. That was
- 1:07:41long. That felt like I worked manual labor for sixteen hours on a construction
- 1:07:47site. Oh my gosh. It was classic. It was classic. He's
- 1:07:51got so much information. It was it was well worth it. Absolutely,
- 1:07:57that was a long one. Yeah, yes, totally. Yeah. You
