- 4:42Speaker 2: Brittany got the answer right from yesterday's scavenger hunt is
- 4:47Speaker 2: simony is the terminology for simony. So Brittany, shout out
- 4:53Speaker 2: to you. Thank you for joining us. Hopefully you will
- 4:57Speaker 2: become an active member in our community and with that
- 5:04Speaker 2: being said, let's pray heaven a Father, we thank you
- 5:06Speaker 2: once again that you've allow on us to spend time
- 5:10Speaker 2: in your word. We pray Lord that Caesar will be planet.
- 5:13Speaker 2: We pray Father, God, that your word will germinate in
- 5:16Speaker 2: our hearts. Help us to yield and be obedient, and
- 5:19Speaker 2: be open and to be transformed by your word and
- 5:24Speaker 2: by your spirit. O God, we all say you bless
- 5:27Speaker 2: every listener, Oh God, to this podcast, every follower, every subscriber.
- 5:33Speaker 2: We ask Father God, that revival will break out, Father,
- 5:36Speaker 2: that you will use it to bring glory to your
- 5:40Speaker 2: name in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. All right,
- 5:49Speaker 2: So we're chapter eight. You know, we just finished up Simon.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Simony is the terminology his sin. He wanted to buy
- 6:01Speaker 2: the gift of the Holy Spirit, and you can't buy it.
- 6:07Speaker 2: God is about relationship, He's about family. He is our
- 6:10Speaker 2: heavenly Father. God is love. He's a God of love.
- 6:15Speaker 2: He's our loving, heavenly Father. He wants our hearts, he
- 6:19Speaker 2: wants our obedience, he wants our cooperation. Amen. Not just knowledge,
- 6:25Speaker 2: not just information. Doesn't want us just to be powerful people, right,
- 6:32Speaker 2: just to gain power, but he wants to gain our hearts,
- 6:36Speaker 2: the power will come. And so Peter judges man corrected him,
- 6:46Speaker 2: rebuked him. I should say, the Holy Spirit is the judge,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and it was actually grace. It was grace. He exposed
- 6:55Speaker 2: his heart. We need to ask God to expose our
- 6:57Speaker 2: hearts and to keep us on the right track. We
- 7:01Speaker 2: want to live a life that is pleasing to our
- 7:04Speaker 2: heavenly Father. Amen. So now we pick it back up.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Stephan was a martyred, a great man of power. He
- 7:14Speaker 2: performed Milko signs of wonders. And Philip now is on
- 7:20Speaker 2: the scene, had the same spirit, had the same power.
- 7:25Speaker 2: He was called the evangelists. And so we're gonna see
- 7:29Speaker 2: God working through him. Next, soul, let's jump into it
- 7:38Speaker 2: verse twenty five and it says, so then they had
- 7:44Speaker 2: testified and preached the word of the Lord. I mean,
- 7:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry. So when they have testified and preached the
- 7:53Speaker 2: word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the
- 7:57Speaker 2: Gospel in many villages in Samaria. Now this is Peter
- 8:08Speaker 2: and John. I believe they came out. Philip was preaching
- 8:15Speaker 2: the word in Samaria. They sent the apostles out and
- 8:19Speaker 2: it was glorious. They went from village to village, preaching
- 8:23Speaker 2: the Gospel, the good News of Christ. Amen, hallelujah. Now
- 8:33Speaker 2: when Peter and John they just didn't return to Jerusalem.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They evangelized along the way on their way back to Jerusalem.
- 8:44Speaker 2: But what once was prejudice, the king's proclamation, They were
- 8:54Speaker 2: prejudice against these people. They did not want to have
- 8:59Speaker 2: dealings with this Amriitans, Amen, the Jewish nation. But now
- 9:04Speaker 2: they're proclaiming the gospel. And see grace. The grace of
- 9:09Speaker 2: God will transform our perspective of other people. Right the
- 9:15Speaker 2: same Samaritans the Jews once avoided, are now fields ready
- 9:22Speaker 2: for harvests. As Jesus said, Now, when God changes a heart,
- 9:28Speaker 2: he also changes the mission field. So this is beautiful,
- 9:38Speaker 2: especially in our nation with the history of racism and division.
- 9:45Speaker 2: It's powerful how the Gospel can transform and change a heart.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And now we are brothers and sisters Amen. Verse twenty six.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,
- 10:04Speaker 2: arise and go towards the south along the road which
- 10:09Speaker 2: goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is desert. Amen.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Now that's interesting that an angel spoke to him and
- 10:27Speaker 2: gave him an instruction. Right now, Philip leaves revival for
- 10:34Speaker 2: the desert. Now, Philip was having great revival in Samaria.
- 10:42Speaker 2: They had received the word. Simon just got rebuked by Peter,
- 10:49Speaker 2: and Peter and John are going through village and village.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's explosive, but right in the midst of it, he's
- 10:56Speaker 2: told to leave. And why was that? Because one soul
- 11:03Speaker 2: matters to God as much as one entire city being one.
- 11:09Speaker 2: To the Gospel, the Bible says that he will leave
- 11:14Speaker 2: the ninety nine to save the one. Now check this out.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Obedience doesn't always make sense, like why would you leave
- 11:22Speaker 2: a perfectly good revival. Those people probably needed to be disciple,
- 11:26Speaker 2: They probably needed more input from Philip. But he was
- 11:32Speaker 2: sent to go out to the desert. Now, God will
- 11:35Speaker 2: sometimes move you from crowds to quiet, from a platform
- 11:42Speaker 2: to the pavement. Now, the desert was not God abandoning him.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It was not abandonment by God. But it was an assignment.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And I think of myself. I think of how I
- 11:59Speaker 2: was moved from the club, from impacting the entire city,
- 12:05Speaker 2: from having the news come out and the newspaper come
- 12:08Speaker 2: out and getting a lot of attention, to moving out
- 12:15Speaker 2: of the club, and there hasn't been a club like
- 12:22Speaker 2: that for about seven years, right, I think it's well
- 12:27Speaker 2: since twenty eighteen. We started in twenty twelve, we moved
- 12:31Speaker 2: out in twenty eighteen, and now it's twenty twenty five,
- 12:35Speaker 2: so there's been some time. It's like I've been out
- 12:37Speaker 2: on the backside of the desert. But it's been my
- 12:40Speaker 2: assignment and it's been my redirection. But in no way
- 12:46Speaker 2: do I feel abandoned. I feel preparation is what I feel.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Like.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Man, I'm gonna ride this until the wheels fall off.
- 13:00Speaker 2: So he arose and went and behold a man of
- 13:06Speaker 2: Ethiopia and Inoch of great authority, right under a candice,
- 13:19Speaker 2: the Queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all
- 13:24Speaker 2: her treasury and had come to Jerusalem to worship. Now,
- 13:30Speaker 2: this Ethiopian man came to Jerusalem to worship the True
- 13:34Speaker 2: and Living God, and he had the treasure. He was
- 13:39Speaker 2: over the treasure of this queen. And of course we
- 13:44Speaker 2: know that now the Ethiopians are from Africa. It was
- 13:53Speaker 2: a wealthy nation back then, and this man wanted to
- 13:57Speaker 2: worship the True and Living God to Jerusalem. Now, this
- 14:02Speaker 2: man was a powerful man, he was wealthy, He was
- 14:06Speaker 2: a religious man. But he was still searching. He was
- 14:11Speaker 2: still researching, he was still looking. And I think of
- 14:14Speaker 2: the scripture where it says if you seek, you shall
- 14:16Speaker 2: find right. At least this man was looking, you know.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I go down to a minister at the juvenile detention
- 14:25Speaker 2: center and this last weekend, last Saturday, we wins. We
- 14:32Speaker 2: had a group of guys, young guys, and we were
- 14:34Speaker 2: talking during the class. And there's one I talked to
- 14:41Speaker 2: him a couple of times, you know, in the class,
- 14:43Speaker 2: and he doesn't believe the Bible. He thinks it's you know,
- 14:48Speaker 2: fake and made up. Like he feels like he can't
- 14:51Speaker 2: trust it. And I always try to tell him. I says, man,
- 14:57Speaker 2: have integrity with yourself, bro, Like read it, Like can
- 15:01Speaker 2: you describe one thing that is wrong, one contradiction? Like
- 15:07Speaker 2: what part do you disagree with? Like he doesn't even
- 15:10Speaker 2: read it, he's not searching. And then there's another young
- 15:14Speaker 2: guy in there who has read the Bible, like he's
- 15:19Speaker 2: actively reading it, and he says, as he reads it,
- 15:22Speaker 2: it comes to life. He sees things that he reads
- 15:26Speaker 2: happening in his life, and he's searching. And I encourage him, like,
- 15:30Speaker 2: keep searching, brother, keep searching because because if you seek,
- 15:34Speaker 2: you will find. There's a difference, you know, there's a
- 15:38Speaker 2: difference between a person who doesn't search that has all
- 15:42Speaker 2: these negative things to say about it versus somebody who's
- 15:47Speaker 2: actually searching, and maybe they're off or maybe they you know, God,
- 15:51Speaker 2: I believe that God will make sure that you will
- 15:54Speaker 2: find the truth, just like he did for this man.
- 15:57Speaker 2: This man was searching. Now, position doesn't equal peace, right,
- 16:03Speaker 2: this man had great position, but he was still searching.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You can have influence and still be empty on the inside.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Religion without relation leaves questions unanswered. When we say that again,
- 16:19Speaker 2: religion without the relationship with God will always leave you
- 16:26Speaker 2: with questions. Verse twenty eight. Let me see said I
- 16:37Speaker 2: back up a little bit. Okay, you had charge of
- 16:41Speaker 2: all her treasury and had come to Jerusalem to worship.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Was returning and sitting in his chariot. He was reading
- 16:50Speaker 2: Isaiah the prophet. Then the spirit said to Philip, go
- 16:55Speaker 2: near and overtake this chariot. That is just beautiful. Now
- 17:03Speaker 2: he had scripture, but he was lacking understanding. So this
- 17:09Speaker 2: man was really searching. He was in Jerusalem, he had
- 17:12Speaker 2: a copy of the scripture. So apparently he was able
- 17:15Speaker 2: to read either Hebrew or Greek, and might have been
- 17:18Speaker 2: Greek at this time. Now, owning a Bible doesn't guarantee revelation.
- 17:27Speaker 2: God sends teachers to help unlock truth. God sent Philip
- 17:35Speaker 2: to help him understand what he was reading. Then the
- 17:40Speaker 2: spirits said that Philip go near and overtake this chariot.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Now Philip was sensitive to the spirit's voice, and I
- 17:53Speaker 2: pray that that would be us. Amen, that our Father
- 17:58Speaker 2: will give us that same sensibility. The Holy Spirit still
- 18:07Speaker 2: speaks today. He still speaks to us, but the question
- 18:12Speaker 2: is already listening. Divine moments require spiritual awareness. Hallelujah. Let
- 18:22Speaker 2: me say that again. Divine moments require spiritual awareness, and
- 18:30Speaker 2: we need to add that to our prayer lists. Make
- 18:31Speaker 2: us more spiritually aware of your divine moments, Amen, Verse thirty.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So Philip rand to him and heard him reading the
- 18:50Speaker 2: prophet Isaiah, and said, do you understand what you are reading? Wow?
- 18:57Speaker 2: That's powerful. Now Philip asked a simple question, opening the
- 19:06Speaker 2: door for truth. Sometimes all you have to do is
- 19:09Speaker 2: ask someone a simple question. And I remember evangelizing when
- 19:18Speaker 2: I was working at the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino we
- 19:22Speaker 2: would have Bible studies in our lunch room, and one guy,
- 19:30Speaker 2: he was one of the guys who took the money
- 19:34Speaker 2: out of the slot machines. I forget what it was called.
- 19:39Speaker 2: He was sitting there and we were talking, and I
- 19:42Speaker 2: just asked him a question about aliens or something. We
- 19:45Speaker 2: were talking about alien aliens, and then that conversation opened
- 19:50Speaker 2: up the door to the gospel. I started witnessing to
- 19:53Speaker 2: him about Christ. He got saved, and he became a
- 19:59Speaker 2: brother in the For years, he became one of my
- 20:03Speaker 2: closest friends. But sometimes a simple question could open up
- 20:09Speaker 2: the door to witness, find something in common, find a
- 20:12Speaker 2: way to start a conversation and introduce truth. You see,
- 20:18Speaker 2: evangelism begins with humility, doesn't begin by arguments, trying to
- 20:25Speaker 2: argue a point with someone. Ask before you assume right.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He just asked him, do you understand what you're reading
- 20:37Speaker 2: in verse thirty one? And he said, how can I
- 20:40Speaker 2: unless someone guides me? And he asked Philip to come
- 20:46Speaker 2: up and sit with him. See how that just opened
- 20:50Speaker 2: up an amazing door. This is just beautiful. Amen. Now
- 20:58Speaker 2: God uses people to disciple people, and that's one of
- 21:04Speaker 2: the things that my heart has always been big on
- 21:12Speaker 2: That's why we do this podcast. You know, we call
- 21:15Speaker 2: it the Small Group on radio or even our Accountability
- 21:19Speaker 2: Partner segment. It's to help us in that way. I
- 21:26Speaker 2: can reach more people on this radio station that I
- 21:30Speaker 2: could possibly in person. So it furthers our reach. And
- 21:36Speaker 2: you may know people who go to church but are
- 21:38Speaker 2: still struggling with sin, well, I invite you to send
- 21:43Speaker 2: them this podcast. This app a man. It's just a
- 21:48Speaker 2: tool to help. And so God will use people to
- 21:53Speaker 2: disciple people. No one is mature enough to do this
- 22:02Speaker 2: on their own. Discipleship is relational. We're supposed to be
- 22:11Speaker 2: building relations with each other as brothers and sisters were family,
- 22:18Speaker 2: and we're supposed to help each other grow and fulfill
- 22:21Speaker 2: the destiny that God has in our lives. Amen. All right?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Thirty two and thirty three. The place in the scripture
- 22:36Speaker 2: which he read was this, he was led as a
- 22:41Speaker 2: sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before his
- 22:45Speaker 2: shearers is silent. So he opened not his mouth in
- 22:53Speaker 2: him in his humiliation is just was taken away. And
- 23:04Speaker 2: who will declare his generation for his life is taken
- 23:11Speaker 2: from the earth. Amen. Okay, Now this prophecy right here
- 23:24Speaker 2: was clearly pointing to Jesus Christ. Now the Old Testament
- 23:29Speaker 2: isn't separate from Christ, it reveals him. If you really
- 23:35Speaker 2: look closely in the Old Testament, you will see Jesus
- 23:39Speaker 2: all the way through the Word of God through the
- 23:43Speaker 2: Bible verse thirty four. So then the Enoch answered Philip
- 23:55Speaker 2: and said, I ask you, whom does this prophet say this?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Of himself or of some other man? And man? That
- 24:08Speaker 2: is a beautiful question. Now this was a divine setup
- 24:11Speaker 2: right here. Right God prepares hearts before he sends messengers. Hallelujah.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That's something we need to pray in a daily basis. Like, God,
- 24:24Speaker 2: show us every heart that you've prepared to hear the Gospel,
- 24:29Speaker 2: to hear the truth so that we can share your word. Hallelujah.
- 24:33Speaker 2: These are all evangelistic. Like if you break this down,
- 24:37Speaker 2: Philip is the evangelist, and I believe that God has
- 24:44Speaker 2: called me with this gift to evangelize, and this gives
- 24:48Speaker 2: us the blueprint. This gives us a breakdown. As a
- 24:51Speaker 2: matter of fact, I'm gonna put something together or evangelists
- 24:59Speaker 2: to how we he could win our neighbors just by
- 25:06Speaker 2: this interaction with Philip. Amen, now where we're at thirty
- 25:19Speaker 2: thirty five. Then Philip opened his mouth. You know, we
- 25:24Speaker 2: got to open our mouths, right, we have to speak,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and beginning at this scripture, preached Jesus to him. Wow,
- 25:33Speaker 2: I wish I was in that chariot. I would have
- 25:36Speaker 2: loved to hear that message. Amen. Now Jesus is always
- 25:41Speaker 2: the center of true preaching. Amen. You got to keep
- 25:47Speaker 2: the main thing the main thing, and it's Jesus. Now
- 25:50Speaker 2: you can start where people are, but always lead them
- 25:54Speaker 2: to Christ. Amen. Now where we're at verse thirty six. Now,
- 26:10Speaker 2: as they went down the road, they came to some water,
- 26:16Speaker 2: and the Ena said, see here is water. What hinders
- 26:21Speaker 2: me from being baptized? Now, faith responds quickly when truth
- 26:29Speaker 2: is received. You can tell when someone receives the truth
- 26:36Speaker 2: by their response to it. And I remember when I
- 26:40Speaker 2: got saved. I was at this Bible study and the
- 26:47Speaker 2: woman she was teaching out of the Book of Revelation,
- 26:50Speaker 2: her name is Benita. Shout out to our sister Benita.
- 26:54Speaker 2: And when she got done, she asked a question, do
- 26:57Speaker 2: you want to receive Christ? And I was like, who wouldn't.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I did not hesitate, I did not delay. I received
- 27:03Speaker 2: him right there on the spot. Amen, just like this
- 27:12Speaker 2: man faith like he responded quickly. Now delayed obedience off
- 27:17Speaker 2: and reveals divided hearts. This man was ready. You cannot
- 27:26Speaker 2: have a divided heart. You need to pray against that. Amen.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Delayed obedience is also equal to disobedience. Thirty seven. Then
- 27:44Speaker 2: Philip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Now you gotta confess confession seeds baptism. Salvation is personal.
- 28:03Speaker 2: You must believe, not inherit faith. He had to make
- 28:09Speaker 2: his confession that he believed in Christ before he was
- 28:15Speaker 2: even able to touch the water. And he answered and said,
- 28:21Speaker 2: I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Hallelujah.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Those who call upon the name of the Lord shall
- 28:30Speaker 2: be saved. That is a promised a man. So he
- 28:38Speaker 2: commanded the chariot to stand still, and both Philip and
- 28:43Speaker 2: the enach went down into the water, and he baptized him. Hallelujah.
- 28:52Speaker 2: The baptism was immediate. Public obedience follows genuine belief, and
- 29:01Speaker 2: man he proclaimed publicly when he was baptized that he's
- 29:07Speaker 2: putting his faith in trust in Jesus Christ. Now, when
- 29:13Speaker 2: they came up out of the water. The spirit of
- 29:16Speaker 2: the Lord caught up Philip away, so that the Enoch
- 29:20Speaker 2: saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing. Hallelujah.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Now Philip disappeared, but joy remained. Your joy doesn't depend
- 29:36Speaker 2: on the messenger. It rests on Christ alone, hallelujah. Sometimes
- 29:44Speaker 2: we feel that we, especially me, I've done this early
- 29:47Speaker 2: in my ministry. I feel that I have to be
- 29:50Speaker 2: there every step of the way in order for someone
- 29:54Speaker 2: to like, really mature in Christ. Because sometimes that's not
- 29:59Speaker 2: your I ain't. All you have to do is share
- 30:02Speaker 2: the message and bam, your job is done. You gotta
- 30:07Speaker 2: point them to Christ.
- 30:10Speaker 1: It looks like you lost another one, and.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe sometimes pastors struggle with this. Sometimes
- 30:17Speaker 2: pastors have to step out of the way and allow
- 30:19Speaker 2: their sheep to grow in the Lord. I know this happened,
- 30:25Speaker 2: this has happened to me. But it's not about the messenger.
- 30:30Speaker 2: It's not all about mister his hot his hop needs
- 30:33Speaker 2: to move out of the way and point you to
- 30:38Speaker 2: Christ to develop your own personal relationship with Him Amen,
- 30:46Speaker 2: Verse forty. But Philip was found in as Oltus. As Oltus,
- 30:53Speaker 2: I think that's how you pronounce it and passing through.
- 30:57Speaker 2: He preached in all the cities until he came to Cesseria.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Now I don't know where this disappearing annointinging came from,
- 31:13Speaker 2: but man, I would love to walk in that annointing
- 31:16Speaker 2: when it'd be great to just disappear in front of
- 31:18Speaker 2: people and appear somewhere else, Like God give me this
- 31:22Speaker 2: gift of disappearing, Like that's amazing. And this Enoch was
- 31:28Speaker 2: like just he was. He didn't say nothing about this
- 31:32Speaker 2: man disappearing like I would have been tripping. I mean,
- 31:35Speaker 2: I would have been joyful. But I'm like, WHOA. I
- 31:39Speaker 2: don't know. Is there posting a life chat? Is there
- 31:42Speaker 2: anyone else in the Bible that you can think of
- 31:45Speaker 2: who disappeared like that? I mean, of course Jesus did
- 31:50Speaker 2: plenty of times, but Old Testament, New Testament, who else disappeared?
- 31:59Speaker 2: I want to know. Maybe we can do a study
- 32:01Speaker 2: on that and figure out that gift. Amen. But Philip
- 32:06Speaker 2: kept preaching whatever God sent him. Right, Faithfulness isn't about
- 32:12Speaker 2: our location. Faithfulness is all about our obedience. Amen. All right,
- 32:23Speaker 2: let's go to a quick great y'all.
- 32:25Speaker 4: To the light of Las Vegas. This is the hiss
- 32:29Speaker 4: hop radio show.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Letting go has never been an easy thing for me.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I'll be truthful. Sometimes I'm just called to do some
- 32:47Speaker 3: things that feel unusual. Challenges they come my way, some
- 32:50Speaker 3: things I don't feel used to. I could take the
- 32:53Speaker 3: easy way, or I can make this fruit.
- 32:55Speaker 5: I'm gonna break this down, mikey deep, but that won't drown.
- 32:57Speaker 5: I'll complete without a doubt what is planned for me.
- 33:00Speaker 5: I'm down, but it gets so hard try to get around.
- 33:01Speaker 5: But it seemed too large. God told me he won't
- 33:03Speaker 5: let me fall. God to me, it's biggest storm. He'll
- 33:06Speaker 5: be dead with open arms.
- 33:07Speaker 3: He says, She say, he said, she said.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I can't let that turn me around. I'm breaking curses down, family,
- 33:12Speaker 5: I ain't hurting now. Nights have not been perfect now,
- 33:14Speaker 5: but I still walk in joy. Y'all found, I still
- 33:16Speaker 5: walk on wainy days. The storm I set is over
- 33:18Speaker 5: now comes back from time to time. But no, it's
- 33:21Speaker 5: not gonna blow me down. This been a minute, literally different,
- 33:24Speaker 5: but I'm gifted and I still stand on now.
- 33:26Speaker 3: I'm standing still.
- 33:27Speaker 5: The light is in me, so I've been shining, and
- 33:29Speaker 5: there y'all see it. I'm sure not empty.
- 33:31Speaker 3: I'll save my flaws in every song. It's no use
- 33:33Speaker 3: of for sending. I've been so sick of sinning.
- 33:36Speaker 5: I've been so sick of mending.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Make my heart.
- 33:38Speaker 5: When people break it, I get too offended. So God,
- 33:41Speaker 5: just leave me wherever you want me at see. I
- 33:43Speaker 5: don't care what they singing. I move with that and
- 33:45Speaker 5: feel it's never been an easy thing for me.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I'll be truthful.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm just called to do some things that feel unusual.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Challenges they come my way. Some things I don't feel
- 33:54Speaker 3: used to. I could take the easy way, or I can.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Make this flood and go.
- 33:58Speaker 3: It's never been an easy thing for me.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I'll be truthful.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm just called to do some things that feel unusual.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Challenge just they come my way. Some things I don't.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Feel used to.
- 34:07Speaker 3: I could take the easy fail I can make this fruit.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Had to get broken down just to come together now,
- 34:12Speaker 5: had to lose myself and lose my energy.
- 34:14Speaker 4: I dropped my crown, promise you.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I drop my smile just to get.
- 34:17Speaker 5: It turned around, just to find myself in my identity,
- 34:20Speaker 5: can find my sound. Now I feel that's out of balance.
- 34:23Speaker 5: I can't go back to that girl. I keep my
- 34:25Speaker 5: smile I keep my mental intact. I keep my feet
- 34:27Speaker 5: on my path. Jealousy got off my back and this
- 34:30Speaker 5: is deepening wrap. I can't keep moving ahead of me.
- 34:33Speaker 5: I was moving too fast, and now why I sid
- 34:35Speaker 5: It's a better me Now I'm moving with class, chrying
- 34:37Speaker 5: to just know they gonna come up.
- 34:39Speaker 3: It's some folks looking for come up. Can't let them
- 34:41Speaker 3: use me.
- 34:41Speaker 5: I'm one up and I'm gonna blossom in front of
- 34:43Speaker 5: table before my enemies. It's not a fantasy.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I see my past.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Thank God, is history.
- 34:48Speaker 2: We can't get to me.
- 34:49Speaker 3: I'm moving forward.
- 34:50Speaker 5: I gotta do some things that's hard to do. If
- 34:52Speaker 5: God tell me to do it, can't argue against the rules.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm doing it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: No way I'm losing.
- 34:57Speaker 5: Now I found clarity.
- 34:59Speaker 3: They can't go feel let us go. It's never been
- 35:01Speaker 3: an easy thing for me.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I'll be truthful.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm just called to do some things that feel unusual.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Challenges they come my way, some things I don't feel
- 35:09Speaker 3: used to. I could take the easy way, or I
- 35:12Speaker 3: can make this fruitful.
- 35:28Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 35:32Speaker 4: is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
- 35:51Speaker 2: All right, all right, we are back from the break
- 35:54Speaker 2: that is a sister kid Lee. Check her out, man.
- 35:58Speaker 2: She is definitely on fire for God. A young girl,
- 36:03Speaker 2: she was delivered from a life of homosexuality. She's on
- 36:06Speaker 2: fire for God. And I believe she just changed her
- 36:10Speaker 2: name as well. So check her out, support her music,
- 36:15Speaker 2: let her know you heard her on his hot radio show.
- 36:21Speaker 2: All right, that's amazing, brother Philip. The evangelists definitely want
- 36:28Speaker 2: to examine his life. Check out what God has done
- 36:32Speaker 2: through him. It's kind of a personal thing for me
- 36:36Speaker 2: because I know that I'm called to be an evangelist
- 36:39Speaker 2: as well. Amen, we need to reach our community. Hallelujah.
- 36:47Speaker 2: All right, it's time for our other segments on this
- 36:52Speaker 2: other half of the podcast, the Accountability Partner. This is
- 36:57Speaker 2: where we connect on the discipleship level. There may be
- 37:02Speaker 2: sins that you're struggling with. We all struggle, right, We
- 37:05Speaker 2: all struggle, and God knows that. God knows He knew
- 37:10Speaker 2: that we would struggle. That's why you put together this
- 37:13Speaker 2: plan of discipleship, and it works if we're honest with
- 37:19Speaker 2: each other. You got to be honest with ourselves. If
- 37:23Speaker 2: you don't have integrity for no one else, have integrity
- 37:26Speaker 2: with yourself. Look at your life honestly right, I don't
- 37:32Speaker 2: care if you're in Christ or if you're not in Christ.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Look at your life and look at the path that
- 37:38Speaker 2: you are going down. Sometimes we need help, you know,
- 37:43Speaker 2: we need let accountability partner. Some things are not going
- 37:48Speaker 2: to get over until we get agreement in prayer, until
- 37:51Speaker 2: we get some wise counsel, we get deliverance. That's what
- 37:56Speaker 2: the local church is for the local body. I encourage
- 37:59Speaker 2: you to to get plugged in, to join a fellowship,
- 38:03Speaker 2: ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to one. But
- 38:08Speaker 2: not just sit in the crowds. You know, you gotta
- 38:11Speaker 2: allow someone to mentor you to pour in to disciple
- 38:15Speaker 2: you amen, just like that movie The Forge. And so
- 38:20Speaker 2: we're kind of like your small group on the radio.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And so what you can do if you want to
- 38:26Speaker 2: go a little further with our accountability segment is go

- 39:09Speaker 2: and also we give you daily challenges. Today's challenge is
- 39:14Speaker 2: call your accountability partner and ask him, are you obedient
- 39:21Speaker 2: even when God moves you out of your comfort zone?
- 39:26Speaker 2: That's a question for today, and you can also find
- 39:29Speaker 2: us in a live chat. Are you obedient even when
- 39:33Speaker 2: God moves you out of your comfort zone? Just like Philip,
- 39:37Speaker 2: He moved him into the desert. He left the revival
- 39:40Speaker 2: and went out to the desert just to meet one soul. Hallelujah. Also,
