- 1:26Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.
- 1:30It's a Tuesday, and today's message is one that will touch every single one of us.
- 1:37And it's every single one of us that's living with faith in an uncertain world.
- 1:42When we look around at the news, the economy, the wars, the politics,
- 1:48and even personal struggles, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and overwhelmed, I should say, really.
- 1:55But the truth is uncertainty is not new and God has always been faithful in the midst of it.
- 2:04I remember seasons in my own life when the future felt cloudy,
- 2:09times when I didn't know what tomorrow would bring, financial struggles, health worries,
- 2:15depression, dealing with a breakup or just the heaviness of watching the world
- 2:20go through a hardship. Maybe you felt that too.
- 2:24But here's the hope. Even when everything else feels shaky, God's foundation never changes.
- 2:31The same God who partated, well, I shouldn't say partated, really.
- 2:35That's not even the right word, right?
- 2:37The same God who parted the Red Sea, who calmed the storm, who raised Jesus
- 2:43from the dead, that God is still with us today.
- 2:48Uncertainty may surround us, but his promises are steady.
- 2:53You know, reading scripture like John 16 verses 33 says, I have told you these
- 3:00things so that you may have heavy peace in this world.
- 3:04You will have trouble, but take heart.
- 3:08I have overcome the world.
- 3:11Jesus never promised a life free of trouble.
- 3:16He did promise us peace, his presence, and his victory.
- 3:21So what do we do in uncertain times? We pray instead of panic.
- 3:26We trust instead of fear.
- 3:28We cling to his every word instead of the world's worries.
- 3:35Uncertainty can be a reminder that we're not in control. and that's actually
- 3:40good news because one who is in control loves us.
- 3:46The one who is in control sees us.
- 3:50The one who is in control and promises to never, ever, ever leave us alone.
- 3:57Heavenly Father, as we go right into a prayer in a world full of uncertainty,
- 4:04we thank you that you are our rock for every one listening today who feels anxious, afraid, or unsure.
- 4:14Remind them that your peace surpasses all understanding.
- 4:19Strengthen our faith to trust in the storms and to help us live with courage,
- 4:26knowing that you have overcome the world.
- 4:31We pray this to you in your precious name as we thank you, Lord, for being with us.
- 4:37We thank you, Lord, for just believing in us, for trusting in us,
- 4:42and for never leaving our side.
- 4:44As always, stay safe, remember that you matter, and never forget,
- 4:50have faith, let it begin. Take care, guys.
- 4:57Music.
