Speaker 1: Hey guys, I do part two, it's your celebrity mentor,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: Cheryl Burke, and today I'm joined by Bachelor Nation alum
• 0:23
Speaker 1: and my friend, Joan Vasovs. Today, we're going to be
• 0:26
Speaker 1: breaking down some of the latest celebrity divorce and chapter
• 0:29
Speaker 1: two news that is out there.
• 0:30
  Speaker 2: Let's get started.
• 0:31
  Speaker 3: Hi, Cheryl. It's been a long time. I know. It's
• 0:36
Speaker 3: been like months and months. It really has. You look beautiful.
• 0:40
  Speaker 2: Thank you.
• 0:41
Speaker 4: So today, we're going to be breaking down, as we do,
• 0:44
Speaker 4: some of the latest celebrity divorce and chapter two news
• 0:48
Speaker 4: that is out there currently.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: Hot topics. Shall we get started?
• 0:52
Speaker 3: A lot to talk about. Let's get started.
• 0:55
Speaker 4: Oh my God. So much to talk about. A lot
• 0:56
Speaker 4: of people breaking up, which is really sad. You know,
• 0:58
Speaker 4: I think there's statistics saying that like summer, like summertime
• 1:02
Speaker 4: is when like a lot of couples actually break up
• 1:05
  Speaker 4: more than winter.
• 1:06
Speaker 3: So I wonder why maybe in the winter you're like, well,
• 1:08
Speaker 3: I'm not going to be able to find anybody. So
• 1:09
  Speaker 3: I won't do it then.
• 1:10
  Speaker 5: Exactly.
• 1:11
Speaker 3: I'll hunker down for a couple more months until everybody's
• 1:14
  Speaker 3: out and about.
• 1:15
Speaker 2: It was a hibernation winter time.
• 1:17
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 1:17
Speaker 3: Maybe, but there's never like a shortage of them though.
• 1:20
Speaker 3: No matter when it's sad.
• 1:21
Speaker 4: It is sad. Amanda Seyfried and Thomas, her now ex,
• 1:26
Speaker 4: split after nine years of marriage. Yeah. And they've decided
• 1:31
Speaker 4: to go their separate ways, but I guess they're still good.
• 1:34
Speaker 3: They're good. People's Statement says that they've got each other forever,
• 1:39
Speaker 3: and it's good. Seyfried, 40, and Sadowski, 50, first met
• 1:45
Speaker 3: in 2015 while starring together in an off-Broadway play, The
• 1:49
Speaker 3: Way We Get By. And then they were also in
• 1:52
Speaker 3: another production, The Last Word, where they played love interest,
• 1:55
Speaker 3: which I feel like is like a story often heard
• 1:58
Speaker 3: that people meet while they're acting together and they are
• 2:02
Speaker 3: love interest and it just kind of snowballs into real life,
• 2:05
Speaker 3: which it looks like it happened for them. They also
• 2:07
Speaker 3: have two kids. They got engaged later that year and
• 2:11
Speaker 3: quietly eloped. And I love their elope story. I just
• 2:15
Speaker 3: read this and I had no idea. It says, we eloped.
• 2:17
Speaker 3: We just took off into the country with an officiant
• 2:20
Speaker 3: and just the two of us. And we did our thing,
• 2:22
Speaker 3: Sadowski said at the time. It was beautiful. It was
• 2:25
Speaker 3: everything that it should be. It was just the two
• 2:27
Speaker 3: of us talking to each other. And then they walk
• 2:30
Speaker 3: into baby just like a week later, their first child,
• 2:32
Speaker 3: their daughter, Nina. And then now they also have a
• 2:34
  Speaker 3: son named Thomas.
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: Time just flies.
• 2:36
Speaker 4: I remember being at, who's Christmas party? It was, I
• 2:41
Speaker 4: forgot his name, but he's a famous person. course i
• 2:43
Speaker 4: don't know anyone's name um but he uh he was
• 2:46
Speaker 4: having family guy what's his name the who's the guy
• 2:49
Speaker 4: that does the voice for family guy.
• 2:51
  Speaker 3: I know i know what you're talking about seth mcfarland's
• 2:54
Speaker 3: christmas party this was like i guess close to a
• 2:56
Speaker 3: decade ago because that's the last time i saw.
• 2:57
Speaker 2: Amanda oh wow there at that party and i.
• 3:00
  Speaker 4: Just can't believe it's been nine it's been a time
• 3:03
Speaker 4: flies i cannot believe it but it's yeah it seems
• 3:06
Speaker 4: to be a very intimate or it was an.
• 3:08
Speaker 3: Intimate It sounds like they eased into it. It said
• 3:10
Speaker 3: that they've been separated for a while and then just
• 3:12
Speaker 3: ultimately decided this was the right thing for their family.
• 3:14
Speaker 3: I wonder, like, do you think that, I'm wondering about that,
• 3:18
Speaker 3: like for your kids. So, you know, they have these
• 3:21
Speaker 3: two young kids and, you know, do you think that
• 3:24
Speaker 3: separating for a period of time is a good idea
• 3:26
Speaker 3: when you're choosing divorce and you think it like, it
• 3:28
Speaker 3: makes a difference when you have kids?
• 3:30
Speaker 2: Well, I come from a divorced family.
• 3:31
Speaker 4: I think that, look, my mom, no matter what, was
• 3:37
Speaker 4: said about each other. She really tried to still have
• 3:40
Speaker 4: a relationship. She wanted me to still have a relationship
• 3:42
Speaker 4: with my father, even if that meant going to Thailand
• 3:45
Speaker 4: to visit him every year.
• 3:46
  Speaker 5: Wow.
• 3:48
Speaker 3: Oh, so he lived really far away.
• 3:49
Speaker 2: And he ran strip clubs.
• 3:51
Speaker 4: And I was probably not in the right age group
• 3:54
Speaker 4: to be around a bunch of underage strippers, right? Oh,
• 3:59
  Speaker 4: my gosh. Yeah.
• 4:01
Speaker 3: You've had the most interesting life. You've told me a
• 4:02
Speaker 3: lot of stories. You and I ended up in a
• 4:04
Speaker 3: sprinter van on the way home from someplace for like
• 4:06
Speaker 3: two hours. I was like, that was the most amazing.
• 4:11
Speaker 4: Ride I've ever been in.
• 4:14
Speaker 3: Every time I talk to you, something else comes out.
• 4:16
Speaker 3: You hung out in strip clubs in Thailand with your,
• 4:19
  Speaker 3: with your dad.
• 4:19
Speaker 4: I actually taught them how to dance when I was 18.
• 4:21
Speaker 4: I went to go visit them. I went to go
• 4:24
  Speaker 4: visit him when.
• 4:25
Speaker 2: I was of age, I guess. But over there, it
• 4:27
Speaker 2: doesn't matter. Anywho, my point is that divorce is hard
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: for the kids.
• 4:32
Speaker 4: I think when there is maybe no communication with both parents.
• 4:36
Speaker 4: I mean, look, again, the environment wasn't right. But I
• 4:39
Speaker 4: think that I am grateful that my mom made sure
• 4:43
Speaker 4: that I had a relationship with my dad regardless. Yeah.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: I feel like when they're doing divorce and it's just
• 4:49
Speaker 3: two people and they don't have kids, that's one thing.
• 4:52
Speaker 3: I love that they kind of eased into this. And
• 4:54
Speaker 3: kind of like your mom and dad did, they eased
• 4:56
Speaker 3: into it. They made sure that they did it right
• 4:57
Speaker 3: and they made sure that the kids were cared for.
• 4:59
Speaker 3: So I feel like they did this right, that they're
• 5:01
Speaker 3: loving parents and that they are making sure that they
• 5:03
Speaker 3: are good for the sake of their kids. And they're
• 5:05
Speaker 3: doing exactly what's right.
• 5:06
Speaker 2: Do you think they signed a prenup?
• 5:08
Speaker 3: I got to guess they did, right?
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: Right?
• 5:10
  Speaker 2: I mean, if you're good. I mean, I guess even
• 5:13
Speaker 2: with a prenup, sometimes it's not good. But like, I
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: don't know. I mean, I would assume, right? Because I
• 5:18
Speaker 2: don't know how good they would be.
• 5:20
Speaker 3: I don't know how successful. I mean, Amanda clearly is successful.
• 5:24
  Speaker 4: That's true.
• 5:24
  Speaker 3: I don't think he is. Like, I don't know. I
• 5:26
Speaker 3: don't really know who he is.
• 5:27
Speaker 2: So behind closed doors, like we don't know.
• 5:31
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: So I got a guess that she would have asked
• 5:33
Speaker 3: for one, but I don't know. You never know.
• 5:34
  Speaker 4: You never know.
• 5:35
Speaker 3: It's also sounds like she was pregnant when they got married.
• 5:37
Speaker 3: So maybe like that ship had kind of sailed.
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: Totally.
• 5:41
  Speaker 5: A little bit.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Shall we move on to the other?
• 5:43
  Speaker 3: Let's move on.
• 5:45
Speaker 4: Gosh, this is so sad. The Real Housewives of Salt
• 5:48
Speaker 4: Lake City. I'm assuming this is what the abbreviation is.
• 5:51
  Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
• 5:52
Speaker 4: Newport. Reveals her final straw in her marriage to Todd Bradley. Now,
• 5:58
Speaker 4: have you watched Salt Lake City version?
• 6:01
Speaker 3: I have not watched all the episodes, but I have
• 6:03
Speaker 3: watched some of the episodes. I actually have not watched
• 6:06
Speaker 3: her season. And she's been on for a while. So
• 6:08
Speaker 3: apparently I'm really behind. I binge watched like three seasons
• 6:11
  Speaker 3: at one point.
• 6:11
Speaker 2: What do you think of the Salt Lake City group?
• 6:15
Speaker 3: I'm so surprised about how promiscuous they are. So, like,
• 6:21
Speaker 3: I live here in D.C., right outside of D.C., and
• 6:23
Speaker 3: we have a really big Mormon population. Really, really big.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: I know a lot of Mormons. And what's that?
• 6:29
Speaker 2: I said, interesting. I lived in Salt Lake. So, I
• 6:31
Speaker 2: lived in Utah for, like, a solid two years or so.
• 6:33
Speaker 3: But you totally get it. Like, I always thought that
• 6:35
Speaker 3: they were very conservative. They wear these undergarments. They don't drink.
• 6:39
Speaker 3: They don't, you know, they are so non-primitive. I'm just kidding. Yeah,
• 6:43
Speaker 3: I mean, I am like, I am so surprised when
• 6:47
Speaker 3: I watch Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and also
• 6:49
Speaker 3: when I watch Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which I
• 6:52
Speaker 3: know is like, they're a different group all together, but
• 6:55
Speaker 3: I'm very surprised by the people.
• 6:58
Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I know.
• 6:59
Speaker 2: But this is what happens when you take sex away
• 7:01
Speaker 2: from people. Like, they find other ways.
• 7:03
Speaker 3: They figure out a way to do it.
• 7:04
Speaker 4: Of course. I'm telling you, this is why they ballroom dance.
• 7:07
Speaker 4: That's why most of the pros on Dancing with the
• 7:09
Speaker 4: Stars are all from Utah.
• 7:10
  Speaker 2: I'm not kidding.
• 7:11
Speaker 3: Nuh-uh. So they can touch each other.
• 7:13
Speaker 2: They can dry up each other. It's legal.
• 7:16
Speaker 3: It's the thing. It's like what they do. They jump
• 7:18
Speaker 3: on the beds. They do this weird thing that the
• 7:19
Speaker 3: first time I heard it, I was like, this is like,
• 7:21
Speaker 3: I don't think this whole no sex thing is working.
• 7:24
Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I think it actually makes it just worse
• 7:26
Speaker 4: in the long run.
• 7:27
Speaker 3: It's like kids that aren't allowed to have candy. They
• 7:29
Speaker 3: used to come to my house where we always had
• 7:30
Speaker 3: candy and cookies and they were like raid our pantry
• 7:33
Speaker 3: because the kids, the parents were taking it away from them.
• 7:35
Speaker 3: It just makes them want it more.
• 7:36
Speaker 4: Totally. And I was the kid that my parents were
• 7:39
Speaker 4: taking that away from me. So I was at my
• 7:40
Speaker 4: friend's house reading their, yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. I
• 7:43
Speaker 4: still do it to this day. You tell me I
• 7:45
Speaker 4: can't do something, don't do that.
• 7:46
Speaker 3: That's exactly what you want to do. Well, she said
• 7:48
Speaker 3: that things were over between them when Todd didn't plan
• 7:52
Speaker 3: anything to mark their 40th birthday in September. So which
• 7:56
Speaker 3: is crazy. No card, no gift, no party. She said,
• 8:01
Speaker 3: it was my first birthday since my dad passed. So
• 8:03
Speaker 3: obviously kind of a hard time for her. She was
• 8:05
Speaker 3: going through it. And that was really like the death
• 8:08
Speaker 3: of it. She said she ultimately realized I had been
• 8:10
Speaker 3: by myself in that marriage for a long time and
• 8:12
Speaker 3: I had to get myself out, she said. So she
• 8:14
Speaker 3: finally did. How would you feel if somebody that you
• 8:17
Speaker 3: were in a relationship with forgot your birthday? Or let's
• 8:20
Speaker 3: say they forgot like Valentine's Day. That, by the way,
• 8:22
Speaker 3: has happened to me.
• 8:23
  Speaker 2: They didn't forget.
• 8:24
  Speaker 4: Mm-mm. You know, I mean, that's just a red flag.
• 8:28
Speaker 4: I mean, mind you, it must have been not just
• 8:30
Speaker 4: that incident, right? Like she said, there was probably red
• 8:33
Speaker 4: flags prior to that.
• 8:34
Speaker 2: She felt alone already. That was definitely intentional.
• 8:38
Speaker 4: And that was probably his way of wanting to break
• 8:41
Speaker 4: it up, maybe without having the balls to just say
• 8:45
Speaker 4: it out loud and do it.
• 8:47
Speaker 3: Yeah. And the fact that she said that she felt
• 8:48
Speaker 3: like they were, that she was alone for a long time.
• 8:51
Speaker 3: That's sad. Yeah, but obviously things were bad anyway.
• 8:55
Speaker 4: But wait, so Tom is also, I guess, significantly older.
• 8:59
Speaker 4: Like old enough to be her father?
• 9:00
Speaker 3: Probably, yeah. I looked up a picture of them before
• 9:03
Speaker 3: we started this so I could see what he looked like. Yeah,
• 9:05
Speaker 3: he is way older. And he totally outkicked his coverage.
• 9:10
  Speaker 3: She's way prettier.
• 9:11
Speaker 2: Wait, what happened? So did she cheat or no one cheated?
• 9:14
Speaker 3: He did cheat on her in the past. So, you know,
• 9:17
Speaker 3: the thing is, I really feel like when you.
• 9:21
Speaker 3: Ladies out there, all you ladies that they're asking to
• 9:23
Speaker 3: go on a real housewife season, you're going to end
• 9:25
Speaker 3: up divorced. They all do. It's just a storyline. It
• 9:29
Speaker 3: always ends up being a storyline. I mean, it's bad.
• 9:32
  Speaker 4: What?
• 9:33
  Speaker 2: They all do.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: Well, so many of them. I think there's very few,
• 9:36
Speaker 3: like even ones that I thought were going to stay together,
• 9:39
Speaker 3: like Kyle and, um, her husband, I can't remember. Um,
• 9:42
Speaker 3: they even split up and I'm like heartbroken.
• 9:44
Speaker 4: My maid of honor is now, she's a new cast
• 9:47
Speaker 4: member of Beverly Hills.
• 9:48
Speaker 2: My, my maid of honor, who was my maid of, Lydia.
• 9:52
Speaker 3: Oh, I love Real Housewives of, um, Beverly Hills. That's
• 9:56
Speaker 3: such a good one. I think the, only one that
• 9:58
Speaker 3: still is around is Heather Dubrow. Is that right? Is
• 10:01
Speaker 3: she the only one still married?
• 10:02
  Speaker 2: I think so.
• 10:03
Speaker 3: She's one of the few housewives that has made it.
• 10:05
Speaker 3: When Ashley Iaconetti was going on to Rhode Island, I
• 10:09
Speaker 3: was like, don't do it. I love them. They are
• 10:11
Speaker 3: like my favorite couple. They're a bachelor couple and I
• 10:13
Speaker 3: love them. And I'm so worried about them.
• 10:15
Speaker 2: Are they still together?
• 10:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, they are. And they're young. They have young kids
• 10:18
Speaker 3: and I feel like they have a great marriage, but
• 10:20
Speaker 3: I just know it just all, they always end up divorced.
• 10:23
Speaker 3: Makes me worried for her.
• 10:24
Speaker 4: What if it was different?
• 10:25
Speaker 2: Like what could they do differently? Maybe go to therapy or.
• 10:28
Speaker 3: I think the show tries to make really little things
• 10:30
Speaker 3: that are happening in the marriage more They try to
• 10:32
Speaker 3: make them storylines and it blows them out of proportion
• 10:35
Speaker 3: and it makes and it creates it creates problems. I
• 10:38
Speaker 3: remember they tried to do it with Ashley and Jared.
• 10:41
Speaker 3: He was talking about the business. He runs a coffee
• 10:44
Speaker 3: shop and how it wasn't really super profitable and he
• 10:47
Speaker 3: was trying to decide if he should stay with it and.
• 10:49
Speaker 3: It sounded like she was trying to encourage him maybe
• 10:51
Speaker 3: not to. And he was saying he felt really bad
• 10:53
Speaker 3: about himself. And they made that a huge storyline. I
• 10:55
Speaker 3: felt really bad for them because I felt like it
• 10:58
Speaker 3: was just them talking, like shooting the shit, sitting at
• 11:01
Speaker 3: the coffee bar, just making small talk, talking about life
• 11:04
Speaker 3: a little bit. And they tried to make that a storyline.
• 11:06
Speaker 3: It made me nervous. I thought, oh, Jared's going to
• 11:09
Speaker 3: go down the rabbit hole and this is going to
• 11:10
Speaker 3: be bad. They didn't. It's okay. But I don't trust them.
• 11:14
  Speaker 3: I don't trust those producers.
• 11:15
Speaker 2: I mean, they did say yes to this, so.
• 11:18
  Speaker 4: Yep.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true. When you're reality TV, it happens.
• 11:21
  Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: I think it has helped his business actually being on TV.
• 11:25
Speaker 3: So I feel like things have gotten better for them financially.
• 11:29
Speaker 3: And I feel like he feels like he is more
• 11:32
Speaker 3: of a contributor. That was like the whole storyline. He
• 11:33
Speaker 3: didn't feel like he was contributing enough to the marriage
• 11:36
Speaker 3: because now she has this other gig. She's a real housewife.
• 11:39
Speaker 3: She's become more famous. And he's just running this little
• 11:42
Speaker 3: coffee shop, which is not a little coffee shop. It's big.
• 11:44
Speaker 3: It's very popular. But I think it's doing much better
• 11:47
Speaker 3: now that she's been on the They've been on.
• 11:58
  Speaker 4: TV. All right.
• 12:00
Speaker 3: Speaking of more reality, we've got Taylor Frankie Paul.
• 12:03
  Speaker 4: Yeah, we do.
• 12:03
Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness. Are you following her?
• 12:05
Speaker 3: On Instagram? Oh God, I have, you know, I met her. Um,
• 12:09
Speaker 3: they'd had all the former bachelorettes come on her season
• 12:12
Speaker 3: of bachelorette and meet her. And I really liked her.
• 12:16
Speaker 3: I thought the decision was really weird when they originally
• 12:18
Speaker 3: made it. I'm like, what are we doing? She's not
• 12:21
Speaker 3: our typical bachelorette. They were really shaking things up. And
• 12:24
Speaker 3: I thought, okay, I'm just going to go with it.
• 12:25
Speaker 3: I'm going to assume that they know what they're doing.
• 12:27
Speaker 3: Then I met her and I was like, okay, like
• 12:29
Speaker 3: she seems to be really open to finding somebody And
• 12:32
Speaker 3: then I watched the season of Secret Lives of Mormon
• 12:35
Speaker 3: Wives and her leading up to going to be on
• 12:39
Speaker 3: The Bachelorette, like her night before. Did you hear all
• 12:41
Speaker 3: about how she was sleeping with her ex-boyfriend, their baby daddy,
• 12:46
Speaker 3: that she was supposedly trying to get away from by
• 12:48
Speaker 3: going on becoming The Bachelorette? She was sleeping with him,
• 12:52
Speaker 3: and she got up in the morning and didn't make
• 12:53
Speaker 3: her flight to go to L.A. to be the star
• 12:55
  Speaker 3: of the show.
• 12:57
  Speaker 5: What?
• 12:57
Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. What? Yeah. Yeah. How? How?
• 13:02
Speaker 3: Yeah. Her family was knocking on the door. She wouldn't
• 13:07
Speaker 3: come answer the door. Her friends finally, her friends were
• 13:10
Speaker 3: at the airport with a, like, good luck, Taylor signs.
• 13:12
Speaker 3: All the secret lives of women and wives were there
• 13:14
Speaker 3: to greet her. She didn't show up. No show. And
• 13:17
Speaker 3: then he was there. They drove by his house and
• 13:18
Speaker 3: there his truck was sitting out in front.
• 13:21
  Speaker 4: What happened?
• 13:22
Speaker 3: Yeah. She wasn't over him.
• 13:26
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 13:26
Speaker 3: She was still with him. She had not broken it off.
• 13:29
Speaker 3: She was getting ready to go be the star of
• 13:31
Speaker 3: the show. They had spent so much money on her.
• 13:39
Speaker 3: They'd already done promos for her. They'd done so much work.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: And they eventually filmed the whole season. We didn't know this,
• 13:46
Speaker 3: so we don't know this about Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
• 13:49
Speaker 3: That has not aired yet, but the network knew about it, clearly,
• 13:52
Speaker 3: because the person that's in charge of that show is
• 13:54
Speaker 3: also in charge of Bachelor. So they know that that happened.
• 13:58
Speaker 3: She came and filmed the whole show. Everything was fine.
• 14:01
Speaker 3: She actually ended up engaged. Then she went back home
• 14:04
Speaker 3: and everything fell apart. Well, it had never really gotten
• 14:08
Speaker 3: a good start because she was still with Dakota. She
• 14:10
Speaker 3: was never, she hadn't actually separated from him. Like supposedly
• 14:13
Speaker 3: she was doing to come on the show and be
• 14:15
  Speaker 3: the bachelorette.
• 14:16
Speaker 4: From what I've seen, their relationship is very toxic.
• 14:19
Speaker 3: It's very bad and things are worse because she just
• 14:22
Speaker 3: allegedly flunked multiple drug tests. And she's also dealt with
• 14:26
Speaker 3: some mental health issues, which she's been getting help with.
• 14:28
Speaker 3: But it sounds like. Something's happened because she has kids
• 14:34
Speaker 3: with both this guy named Tate, her first husband, and Dakota,
• 14:39
Speaker 3: and her visitation with those kids has been reduced. So
• 14:44
Speaker 3: it says that she allegedly failed multiple drug tests in
• 14:47
Speaker 3: the last 60 days, and as a result, we're told
• 14:50
Speaker 3: the court ordered that she be limited to eight hours
• 14:53
Speaker 3: of parenting time each week, four with her two kids
• 14:57
Speaker 3: with Tate and four with her son with Dakota.
• 15:00
Speaker 2: So sad for those kids.
• 15:01
  Speaker 4: My heart.
• 15:02
Speaker 2: Who's taking care of them?
• 15:04
Speaker 3: So from what I've seen, and I don't know this
• 15:06
Speaker 3: for sure, but Tate, her first husband, seems like a
• 15:09
Speaker 3: good dad, and he's also remarried, and it sounds like
• 15:11
Speaker 3: they have a pretty stable home there. Dakota, on the
• 15:15
Speaker 3: other hand, is a shitshow, and their relationship has been
• 15:20
Speaker 3: very volatile. It's been in the news a lot. I
• 15:22
Speaker 3: think there's gag orders on both of them now because
• 15:24
Speaker 3: they kept trashing each other. It's very, very, very unhealthy.
• 15:27
Speaker 3: That child is young. I think he's only about two now.
• 15:30
Speaker 3: His name is Ever. And he's super young, so I
• 15:33
Speaker 3: don't think he knows what's going on.
• 15:35
  Speaker 2: She threw chairs.
• 15:37
Speaker 4: Didn't she throw chairs or something?
• 15:38
Speaker 3: So, yeah, she was super.
• 15:40
  Speaker 4: She was. Yeah.
• 15:42
Speaker 3: So she got arrested for that and she pled guilty
• 15:46
Speaker 3: and she was on probation. She just got let off probation.
• 15:49
Speaker 3: That was three years ago. So, yeah, that's true. So
• 15:52
Speaker 3: while right after she filmed Bachelorette, she was she went
• 15:55
Speaker 3: through the whole court proceedings and she got off of probation.
• 15:58
Speaker 3: So she was all good. And it just sounds like
• 16:00
Speaker 3: it's kind of taken a negative turn just really, really recently, allegedly.
• 16:05
Speaker 3: But I think there's probably court documents we can see.
• 16:08
Speaker 3: All of this has been pretty public. Even though kids
• 16:10
Speaker 3: are involved, you've been able to read the court documents.
• 16:13
Speaker 3: So I think we could probably confirm this.
• 16:16
Speaker 4: I hope the kids are in therapy or getting some
• 16:18
Speaker 4: sort of help. It's crucial, especially in such a young
• 16:22
Speaker 4: age like that. That's the one thing my mom did
• 16:24
Speaker 4: was really good. She put me into therapy. She divorced
• 16:26
  Speaker 4: my dad.
• 16:27
Speaker 3: Oh, I love that. That was so smart. And I
• 16:31
Speaker 3: don't know, I'm assuming that these kids are in therapy.
• 16:33
Speaker 3: Like I said, I think that they have a pretty
• 16:34
Speaker 3: stable life with her first husband, Tate. I do worry
• 16:39
Speaker 3: about Ever, who's with Dakota, but I think her mom
• 16:42
Speaker 3: is very involved with Dakota, with Ever, the two-year-old. Her
• 16:47
Speaker 3: mom and sister take care of her, take care of
• 16:49
Speaker 3: that baby a lot.
• 16:50
Speaker 4: Like my first memory as a kid, I'll never forget it.
• 16:52
Speaker 2: I was only two years old.
• 16:53
Speaker 4: So like, I just think that, I mean, it was my,
• 16:58
Speaker 4: I've said this a million times, I'll say it again,
• 16:59
Speaker 4: but my father was with another woman, was with his secretary.
• 17:02
Speaker 2: And like, I remember like it was yesterday and I
• 17:04
  Speaker 2: was only two.
• 17:04
  Speaker 4: Wow.
• 17:05
Speaker 3: You remember that you have like a way back memory.
• 17:07
Speaker 3: I don't have memory like that.
• 17:08
  Speaker 2: I think it's trauma, right?
• 17:09
Speaker 4: That was very traumatic for me because I didn't know
• 17:11
Speaker 4: that my mom and dad split. Like I didn't know where,
• 17:14
Speaker 4: what I was doing. I just saw my dad and
• 17:17
Speaker 4: this woman naked, like straight up naked.
• 17:20
Speaker 3: No, you caught them.
• 17:22
Speaker 4: Oh yeah. Oh, I wasn't trying to, I just wanted
• 17:24
Speaker 4: him to change the channel.
• 17:25
Speaker 2: I was watching Sesame Street.
• 17:27
  Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
• 17:28
  Speaker 2: PBS or something.
• 17:29
Speaker 3: And you walked in on it.
• 17:31
Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, Jesus. But what I'm saying, the whole point
• 17:34
Speaker 4: of me saying this is that, like, you do hope
• 17:36
Speaker 4: that the kids are like where they are today.
• 17:38
Speaker 2: They're not with their parents. Right.
• 17:41
Speaker 4: So I think it's still it's just like they're with fathers.
• 17:44
Speaker 4: But obviously they know there's some sort of something happening. Right.
• 17:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to imagine as they get older, they're
• 17:50
Speaker 3: going to become very aware of this terrible relationship and
• 17:53
Speaker 3: about how their mother is. And she's very prolific on Instagram.
• 17:57
Speaker 3: She's posting stuff all the time. And the fact that
• 18:00
Speaker 3: they're not living with her. I mean, they haven't lived
• 18:01
Speaker 3: with her in a really long time, like either one
• 18:04
Speaker 3: of the kids. So Dakota's in custody, mostly custody of Ever,
• 18:08
Speaker 3: and only got to stay, I think, overnight with her
• 18:12
Speaker 3: very recently. And now that's been cut off, it looks like.
• 18:15
Speaker 4: Was she a good mom?
• 18:16
  Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I think she's had some issues.
• 18:19
Speaker 3: It's like on TV when you watch her taken care
• 18:21
Speaker 3: of ever, she looks fine. She looks like a normal mom.
• 18:25
Speaker 3: And like when she does exchange with him, you know,
• 18:27
Speaker 3: when they exchange the baby, but the baby is little,
• 18:30
Speaker 3: like she's feeding them, you know, he's in a high chair.
• 18:32
  Speaker 3: He's a little guy.
• 18:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, better not to maybe be around if she's under
• 18:37
Speaker 2: the influence, especially, you know?
• 18:38
  Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 18:39
Speaker 3: You don't see her kids very much on the show.
• 18:41
Speaker 3: In fact, the first two, I don't think you ever see.
• 18:43
Speaker 3: I think that they had an agreement when she joined
• 18:46
Speaker 3: Secret Lives that she had an agreement with her husband
• 18:50
Speaker 3: that they would not show the kids on TV.
• 18:52
Speaker 2: Are they going to air her season of Bachelorette?
• 18:55
  Speaker 4: Or they did?
• 18:56
Speaker 3: They haven't aired it yet. I don't think they will.
• 19:00
Speaker 3: I think right now it would be really detrimental to
• 19:02
Speaker 3: her mental health. I think she is not stable.
• 19:04
Speaker 4: I don't know if the network's necessarily thinking about her. Sorry,
• 19:07
Speaker 4: but I just wonder if the network would do it.
• 19:09
Speaker 4: Maybe not, because it's also.
• 19:10
  Speaker 2: ABC, right?
• 19:12
Speaker 3: It's all ABC. I feel like they would be very
• 19:15
Speaker 3: irresponsible to do that. I just feel like that people would.
• 19:18
Speaker 4: The only reason why I bring it up is because
• 19:20
Speaker 4: I heard that they.
• 19:21
  Speaker 2: I just heard... I don't know where I heard it,
• 19:23
  Speaker 2: but I heard.
• 19:25
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that they need to care about it,
• 19:28
Speaker 3: because I think that she has been really, really... pretty
• 19:31
Speaker 3: vocal about her mental health i think they'd be they'd
• 19:33
Speaker 3: be bad yeah and they and they haven't yet so
• 19:35
Speaker 3: i do think they are thinking about her a little bit.
• 19:37
Speaker 4: Yeah i've seen a little bit of her social media
• 19:40
Speaker 4: i think she loves the fame that's what i mean
• 19:42
Speaker 4: and i and and not you know not saying like
• 19:44
  Speaker 4: look i don't know what's best for her i don't
• 19:46
Speaker 4: know her right but i just you know whatever i'm
• 19:49
Speaker 4: just one like, if that is something that she would
• 19:52
Speaker 4: even be opposed to doing for it to air.
• 19:56
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. From what I understand, it's a
• 19:59
Speaker 3: really good season and she comes off really good. She
• 20:02
Speaker 3: comes off as a very strong woman. I told you
• 20:05
Speaker 3: I met her. She seemed really nice. She seemed really
• 20:08
Speaker 3: open to the whole thing. I think, though, that everybody
• 20:10
Speaker 3: would look at it through a different lens because we've
• 20:13
Speaker 3: now seen Secret Life of the Mormon Wives and her
• 20:16
Speaker 3: several weeks of leaning into her leaving to go film Bachelorette.
• 20:20
Speaker 3: She was at Dakota the whole time. So it was
• 20:23
Speaker 3: never over. So people are going to watch this show,
• 20:26
Speaker 3: and they also know how it ends. They know that
• 20:28
Speaker 3: she ends up engaged. They know that that gets broken
• 20:31
Speaker 3: off immediately within a month or two when she gets home,
• 20:34
Speaker 3: and she's back with Dakota. So we all know how
• 20:37
Speaker 3: it ends. We all know how it kind of had
• 20:39
Speaker 3: a bad beginning. We all know how it ends. The
• 20:41
Speaker 3: whole middle part is just kind of going to be
• 20:43
Speaker 3: a joke because even though we know that she's there
• 20:46
Speaker 3: and she's also, you know, she also, you know, she
• 20:52
Speaker 3: pretends to fall in love or maybe she really does
• 20:54
Speaker 3: fall in love. I don't know. But it all ends
• 20:57
Speaker 3: up in a different, you know, she's not.
• 20:58
Speaker 4: I can see her actually thinking that she's in love.
• 21:00
Speaker 4: I don't know if she's actually in love. You know,
• 21:02
Speaker 4: like the excitement of just, in general, right? The highs
• 21:06
  Speaker 4: and lows.
• 21:07
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 21:08
  Speaker 4: I don't, I mean, I don't know if she's ever
• 21:10
  Speaker 4: admitted that she's an addict. You know, I, there's, I,
• 21:13
Speaker 4: from just, I'm not, I don't want to like pour
• 21:15
Speaker 4: judgment on her, but like, I would, I'm an addict
• 21:17
Speaker 4: as well. So like, I, I can see there's like
• 21:20
Speaker 4: some similarities, maybe not in, I mean, like in different things, obviously,
• 21:23
Speaker 4: but like, I understand the highs, you know? Yeah.
• 21:27
Speaker 3: You should follow her on Instagram.
• 21:29
  Speaker 4: I do. I do. I do.
• 21:30
Speaker 2: But there's only so much I can do.
• 21:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, she's very erratic. And so she did end up
• 21:35
Speaker 3: with a guy that.
• 21:36
  Speaker 4: She got into.
• 21:37
Speaker 2: I appreciate her vulnerability, though.
• 21:38
  Speaker 5: I do.
• 21:39
  Speaker 4: I do, too.
• 21:39
Speaker 3: And I want only the best for her, especially since
• 21:42
Speaker 3: she has kids. I feel like this is really, this
• 21:44
Speaker 3: is hard on them. I think she needs to just
• 21:46
  Speaker 3: disconnect from everything.
• 21:48
Speaker 2: But she's not going to, though. But she's not going
• 21:50
  Speaker 2: to do that.
• 21:50
Speaker 3: Well, she finds so much validation in followers and her
• 21:54
Speaker 3: followers are not your friends.
• 21:55
Speaker 4: And the more people do this to her, the more
• 21:57
Speaker 4: people do it, the more she's going to do it.
• 21:59
Speaker 4: Like I think people, I think you're investing so much.
• 22:03
Speaker 2: This is what she wants, right?
• 22:04
Speaker 4: Like, but subconsciously, I'm not saying she's doing this maliciously.
• 22:07
Speaker 4: She's doing it because like, you know, she made me
• 22:10
Speaker 4: find love. She must, it must fill something up temporarily
• 22:13
  Speaker 4: inside of her.
• 22:14
Speaker 2: And I understand, man. I get it. Yeah.
• 22:16
Speaker 3: It's a lot of pain. I do feel like she has,
• 22:20
Speaker 3: a lot more going on inside of her head than we,
• 22:22
  Speaker 3: than we get.
• 22:23
Speaker 4: And maybe she can't even be this vulnerable with like
• 22:25
Speaker 4: person to person, you.
• 22:26
Speaker 2: Know, maybe this is her outlet.
• 22:28
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 22:28
  Speaker 3: Could be.
• 22:28
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 22:29
Speaker 3: I mean, she seems to make everything very public. She
• 22:32
Speaker 3: posts on Instagram all the time. I don't think maybe
• 22:34
Speaker 3: not as much now, but she really wants to pour
• 22:37
Speaker 3: her heart out. I read it all. My, my heart
• 22:39
Speaker 3: goes out to her. I, I, she's suffering. She clearly
• 22:43
  Speaker 3: is suffering.
• 22:44
Speaker 4: I just hope that she's getting the help she needs. Yeah.
• 22:46
Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, She has a lot of people around her.
• 22:48
Speaker 3: I know she has a mom who really, really cares
• 22:50
Speaker 3: about her. A mom and a father and a sister
• 22:52
Speaker 3: who she's very close to. So hopefully they're helping her out.
• 22:55
Speaker 4: Where does she live? Utah?
• 22:56
Speaker 3: Yeah, Salt Lake City.
• 22:58
  Speaker 4: I send her a lot, but I send anyone who's
• 23:00
Speaker 4: feeling down because it's hard out there.
• 23:03
Speaker 3: It is hard out there, yeah. And doing it in
• 23:05
Speaker 3: the limelight is really hard.
• 23:07
Speaker 4: Yeah. Mormon Wives star Jessie Draper says she's scared to
• 23:20
Speaker 4: ever marry again after two divorces.
• 23:23
Speaker 3: Yeah. So she's 34 years old. She appeared on Tuesday,
• 23:27
Speaker 3: September 15th episode of Just Trish podcast with Trish Paytas
• 23:32
Speaker 3: and was asked if she would ever get married again. Draper,
• 23:35
Speaker 3: who split from her estranged husband, Jordan, early this year
• 23:39
Speaker 3: admitted that she was not looking to rush into another marriage.
• 23:42
Speaker 3: But we do know, if you've been watching the show
• 23:45
Speaker 3: at all, that she has been with the star, one
• 23:48
Speaker 3: of the stars from Vanderpump Villas, Marciano, which was a
• 23:52
Speaker 3: whole big storyline on that show. And she said, we
• 23:55
Speaker 3: can be married, but I'm scared to make it official,
• 23:58
Speaker 3: which I don't understand what that means. We can be married.
• 24:01
Speaker 3: but I'm scared to make it official. I don't know
• 24:03
  Speaker 3: what that means.
• 24:04
Speaker 2: Like they can be partners.
• 24:06
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 24:07
  Speaker 4: Playhouse.
• 24:07
Speaker 3: They're going to play house.
• 24:08
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 24:09
Speaker 3: And, but they're not going to make it official. They're
• 24:10
Speaker 3: not going to actually go to the church.
• 24:13
Speaker 2: That's what she wants, but that's not what he wants.
• 24:16
  Speaker 4: Right. Yeah.
• 24:17
Speaker 3: But I kind of feel like he's secondary to her.
• 24:20
Speaker 3: She's the big star here. She's made, she's had a really,
• 24:23
Speaker 3: really big storyline on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She
• 24:27
Speaker 3: started owning hair salons and it's become a huge empire.
• 24:30
Speaker 3: I think she makes a lot of money. I think
• 24:32
Speaker 3: he is kind of the backseat to her in this relationship.
• 24:37
Speaker 4: Thank God you're doing this with me because I have
• 24:39
Speaker 4: not watched one show you're mentioning.
• 24:42
Speaker 3: It's I literally have too much time. I binge watch shows.
• 24:47
Speaker 3: I will say like, I'm going to watch secret lives
• 24:49
Speaker 3: of Mormon wise this weekend.
• 24:50
Speaker 4: And I will watch it when Harry met Sally or
• 24:52
Speaker 4: when let's marry Harry.
• 24:54
Speaker 2: I can, I can talk about that.
• 24:55
Speaker 3: I haven't watched that one. So we'd be great.
• 24:57
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 24:58
  Speaker 3: We'd be perfect.
• 24:59
Speaker 2: I watched most of it.
• 25:00
Speaker 4: I didn't see the reunion, but from what I've heard,
• 25:02
Speaker 4: nobody ended up really marrying Harry.
• 25:05
Speaker 3: If you know what I mean, Mary, Harry's not really married.
• 25:08
Speaker 2: Harry is not married.
• 25:09
Speaker 3: No one wants Harry.
• 25:10
Speaker 2: And Harry definitely wasn't ready to marry.
• 25:13
Speaker 3: Season two, Harry might marry somebody else.
• 25:16
  Speaker 4: I guess.
• 25:17
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 25:18
Speaker 4: Why do they have to always get to the marriage, though,
• 25:21
Speaker 4: right away? There's got to be a healthier way here, huh?
• 25:24
  Speaker 4: I know.
• 25:24
Speaker 3: I've engaged to the same guy for two years. I'm
• 25:26
Speaker 3: not rushing into marriage.
• 25:28
  Speaker 2: But that's what I mean.
• 25:28
Speaker 4: But every show, The Bachelor, your show, you know, Love
• 25:32
Speaker 4: is Blind. Like, can we just not get married?
• 25:34
Speaker 2: Like, what if we don't get married?
• 25:35
Speaker 3: What if we're just like- 90 Day Fiance?
• 25:37
  Speaker 4: Hello?
• 25:38
  Speaker 3: But maybe like.
• 25:38
Speaker 4: The statistics would be higher, right? Of people actually ending
• 25:43
Speaker 4: up working out. Like, I think the pressure is so high.
• 25:47
Speaker 3: It takes a long time to fall in love. I
• 25:48
Speaker 3: don't think you can fall in love that quickly. You
• 25:50
Speaker 3: can take a leap of faith, like kind of I
• 25:52
Speaker 3: did or like these people do. But then after you
• 25:54
Speaker 3: take the leap, then you need to kind of step
• 25:55
Speaker 3: back and actually live with these people.
• 25:57
  Speaker 4: But you're being like, that's like, you're an adult. You're
• 26:00
Speaker 4: thinking a lot of people don't know that, by the way.
• 26:03
  Speaker 3: I hope they're listening.
• 26:07
Speaker 2: No, and I was in, I was, I like to
• 26:10
Speaker 2: say I'm recovering, but like.
• 26:11
  Speaker 3: You're a recovering love addict.
• 26:13
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 26:14
  Speaker 4: And it's a real thing.
• 26:16
Speaker 3: I think that people like get infatuated and they mistake
• 26:18
Speaker 3: it for love or just want to be in love.
• 26:20
  Speaker 2: It's the high.
• 26:21
Speaker 3: It feels good to be in love.
• 26:22
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 26:22
Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. All right.
• 26:24
Speaker 3: Well, we have more divorces to talk about, I'm afraid.
• 26:27
  Speaker 3: Stay singles.
• 26:29
Speaker 2: The moral of the story.
• 26:30
  Speaker 4: There we go.
• 26:30
  Speaker 3: I'm with you.
• 26:33
Speaker 4: So Candy Burris slams ex-Todd Tucker after he reveals they
• 26:38
  Speaker 4: had threesomes.
• 26:39
Speaker 2: First of all, why is he revealing this?
• 26:42
Speaker 3: Why are we talking about your sex life?
• 26:46
Speaker 2: Why is he doing that?
• 26:47
Speaker 3: Oh, he said we did. I would say for most
• 26:50
Speaker 3: of our marriage, we did. That is insane. I don't understand. Well,
• 26:55
Speaker 3: they dropped it in the trailer for his upcoming tell
• 26:58
Speaker 3: divorce do us part where he shared that he and
• 27:00
Speaker 3: Burris had multiple threesomes during the course of their 11
• 27:03
Speaker 3: year marriage. She's pissed. She says a man who has
• 27:06
Speaker 3: already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage
• 27:10
Speaker 3: by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his
• 27:14
Speaker 3: five minutes of fame. What consensually happens between a husband
• 27:18
Speaker 3: and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that, private.
• 27:22
Speaker 3: His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the
• 27:24
Speaker 3: right thing by getting a divorce. I do, I did,
• 27:26
  Speaker 3: and I'm done.
• 27:27
Speaker 4: So clearly they did not.
• 27:29
Speaker 2: Do they have a prenup? They must have not.
• 27:31
Speaker 3: I have no idea, but I feel like it wouldn't
• 27:34
Speaker 3: have mattered. Like if she was not losing money or
• 27:36
Speaker 3: if they were, if I don't think it mattered, she
• 27:39
Speaker 3: was done with him. This was like, he, this was
• 27:42
Speaker 3: just too much. Like this is, can you imagine that
• 27:44
Speaker 3: being revealed about your sex life? That would be like
• 27:47
Speaker 3: so embarrassing. He was more.
• 27:50
Speaker 2: Than happy to take part in it. Let's not forget
• 27:52
  Speaker 2: about that.
• 27:53
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 27:54
Speaker 2: He threw himself under the bus.
• 27:56
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 27:57
Speaker 3: This is candy is kinky. She had a line of
• 27:59
Speaker 3: sex toys. So she, so she, I mean, she has
• 28:03
Speaker 3: like a kind of a known sexual past, but I
• 28:06
  Speaker 3: don't think that.
• 28:07
Speaker 2: But no one needs to know the details.
• 28:09
Speaker 3: Well, they even had a sex room and they talked
• 28:10
Speaker 3: about it on the show. So she was kind of,
• 28:12
Speaker 3: leaking things out so maybe it's not so bad that
• 28:15
Speaker 3: he said that it sounds like she was happy to
• 28:17
Speaker 3: talk about some things and then suddenly she wasn't happy
• 28:20
Speaker 3: to talk about this particular thing.
• 28:21
  Speaker 4: Well i just don't think that it's not i still
• 28:24
Speaker 4: don't think it's okay until you get her permission to talk.
• 28:26
Speaker 3: About it yeah i agree with you yeah yeah i
• 28:28
Speaker 3: mean it is something that they it was.
• 28:30
Speaker 2: One text away from asking her right.
• 28:32
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah maybe it just slipped out i don't know
• 28:36
Speaker 3: the fact that she was open maybe.
• 28:38
Speaker 4: It was a guarantee that if he did the show
• 28:40
Speaker 4: that he had to say something Yeah.
• 28:42
Speaker 3: You have that whole theory that they're making them say
• 28:44
Speaker 3: stuff and you could be like, they like a story.
• 28:47
Speaker 4: No one can make you, but I think a lot
• 28:48
Speaker 4: of people really want to be famous.
• 28:50
Speaker 3: Yeah. And, and by getting a storyline on a show
• 28:54
  Speaker 3: makes you famous.
• 28:55
Speaker 2: We all need to pay our bills, but there's a
• 28:57
Speaker 2: way of doing it with morals.
• 28:59
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 28:59
Speaker 3: With some class. I mean, I do feel like a
• 29:01
Speaker 3: lot of them, if you get a storyline for one season,
• 29:04
Speaker 3: it makes you a popular person on the show. It
• 29:07
  Speaker 3: gets you more.
• 29:08
Speaker 4: Yes, but then you lose your personal relationships. And really,
• 29:10
Speaker 4: at the end of the day, what is going to
• 29:12
  Speaker 4: make you happy?
• 29:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, was it really even worth it?
• 29:14
  Speaker 4: I know.
• 29:15
Speaker 3: Well, he's not going to be off the show, I assume.
• 29:17
Speaker 3: And it's just going to be her because generally it's
• 29:19
  Speaker 3: Hal's wife, not Hal's husband.
• 29:21
Speaker 4: Not yet. Yeah. Oh, well.
• 29:24
  Speaker 2: That sucks. Okay.
• 29:26
Speaker 4: Jillian Anderson reveals she identifies as pansexual, reflects on relationships
• 29:31
  Speaker 4: with women.
• 29:33
Speaker 3: I've never heard of pansexual. Never heard that term.
• 29:35
Speaker 5: Okay, I'll inform you both. Pansexual is when gender... is not,
• 29:41
Speaker 5: it does not matter gender identity. So that means trans people,
• 29:47
Speaker 5: people who identify as male, people who identify as female,
• 29:53
Speaker 5: like pansexual means that you're open to it all.
• 29:56
Speaker 2: So you are fluid.
• 29:58
Speaker 3: No, it's not fluid.
• 29:59
Speaker 2: It's gender does not matter.
• 30:02
Speaker 5: You're like in love with the person, their gender and
• 30:06
Speaker 5: how they identify does not matter to you.
• 30:08
Speaker 3: So you could be in love with a man who
• 30:11
Speaker 3: identifies as a woman, right? And then a woman could be.
• 30:15
Speaker 5: But then that person could end up changing in the
• 30:18
Speaker 5: relationship and saying, I now identify as a man.
• 30:21
Speaker 3: And you would be like, that's great.
• 30:22
  Speaker 2: I don't care.
• 30:23
Speaker 3: I like you as a person. I love you as
• 30:24
Speaker 3: a person, not as what you call yourself.
• 30:27
  Speaker 2: Oh, I guess you're right.
• 30:28
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 30:28
  Speaker 2: That's interesting.
• 30:30
Speaker 3: So she says in my younger years, I was in
• 30:32
Speaker 3: a relationship. I was in relationships with women. She told
• 30:36
Speaker 3: the Australian and then reflecting on her current phase of life.
• 30:38
Speaker 3: She said she was 100% in a place where I
• 30:41
Speaker 3: feel like we can take on the world. I think
• 30:44
Speaker 3: that she's just speaking for all of us that we
• 30:47
Speaker 3: are all like, it's, it's acceptable now. She says at
• 30:50
Speaker 3: this particular moment, there's actually so much that's good about it.
• 30:54
Speaker 3: So much agency, empowerment and comfortability with the self she shared.
• 30:59
Speaker 3: It's all sounds like a lot of words that I
• 31:00
Speaker 3: don't really understand. She's comfortable though in it. And I
• 31:05
Speaker 3: think she feels like it's accepted. It's so much more
• 31:08
  Speaker 3: accepted now. And I think she's probably right. I don't
• 31:10
Speaker 3: think anybody really cares about, who anybody's with anymore. I mean,
• 31:14
  Speaker 3: I agree. It's the person.
• 31:16
Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, like, look, I think that as long
• 31:18
Speaker 4: as they don't care, right. As long as they don't
• 31:20
Speaker 4: care what other people are saying, or as long as
• 31:22
Speaker 4: they just, you know, blinders.
• 31:25
Speaker 3: Be happy and find the person that makes you happy.
• 31:29
Speaker 3: But it sounds like she got there in kind of
• 31:30
Speaker 3: a weird way because she was the star of this show.
• 31:34
Speaker 3: I don't know if you, um, if you watched it,
• 31:37
Speaker 3: I did not. I've heard of it. She talks about,
• 31:40
Speaker 3: she came out with a book and, um, This was
• 31:43
Speaker 3: after she was in a show on Netflix called Sex Education,
• 31:47
Speaker 3: where she was a therapist. And she came out with
• 31:50
Speaker 3: a book talking about her sexuality that's called Want, a
• 31:54
Speaker 3: collection of anonymous essays on women's sexual fantasies and stories.
• 31:59
Speaker 3: And that was in 2024. And her follow-up, More, released,
• 32:03
Speaker 3: I believe, today on September, oh, two days ago on
• 32:05
Speaker 3: September 15th. So she kind of was in this role
• 32:09
Speaker 3: on this Netflix all about sex thing. And she was
• 32:12
Speaker 3: a therapist. And then she said that kind of brought
• 32:15
Speaker 3: her to writing these two books. So she sounds like
• 32:18
Speaker 3: she's very in touch with sexuality.
• 32:21
  Speaker 2: And she's a great businesswoman.
• 32:22
Speaker 3: So her current relationship with the Crown creator, Peter Morgan,
• 32:26
Speaker 3: from whom she briefly split in 2020, but later reconciled. Yeah,
• 32:30
Speaker 3: the Crown. Yeah. Anderson said that he is the person
• 32:36
Speaker 3: I consider my life partner. So again, she doesn't care
• 32:39
Speaker 3: if he's male or female. He's a life partner. So
• 32:42
Speaker 3: not husband and wife kind of thing.
• 32:44
  Speaker 4: Interesting.
• 32:45
Speaker 3: She says he happens to be male, but I think
• 32:46
Speaker 3: I would feel the same way if he were a woman.
• 32:48
Speaker 3: He's the crown creator. He's obviously successful. He's kind of
• 32:51
Speaker 3: in the business. I think they have things in common
• 32:54
Speaker 3: and he's her life partner. So I think she's found
• 32:56
Speaker 3: her person. It happens to be a man, but she
• 32:58
Speaker 3: doesn't really care. She actually has, she has kids. She
• 33:01
Speaker 3: has a daughter, Piper, and she has two sons that
• 33:06
Speaker 3: she shares with Mark Griffith, Oscar and Felix. So she
• 33:10
Speaker 3: has kids. So She's kind of done the whole family
• 33:12
Speaker 3: mom thing. And now she's just, like you said, fluid,
• 33:15
  Speaker 3: but I guess it's not fluid. She's pansexual. She's just
• 33:18
Speaker 3: doesn't care what their gender is. She just wants to
• 33:22
  Speaker 3: be in love.
• 33:23
Speaker 4: Is this like just a question someone asks or is
• 33:25
Speaker 4: this something that she's always talked about? I don't know.
• 33:28
Speaker 3: Maybe it came as a result of the two books
• 33:30
Speaker 3: that she just wrote. I don't know.
• 33:32
  Speaker 4: Probably.
• 33:32
Speaker 3: She talks more about it because she's probably being interviewed
• 33:35
Speaker 3: about these books, I'm guessing.
• 33:36
  Speaker 4: I know.
• 33:37
Speaker 3: The books alone sound like it's called Want, a collection
• 33:41
Speaker 3: of anonymous essays on women's sexual fantasies and stories. Like,
• 33:44
Speaker 3: this is a lot.
• 33:45
Speaker 4: I wonder if it was her patients' anonymous stories, like
• 33:48
Speaker 4: when she was a therapist.
• 33:49
Speaker 3: Well, she was a therapist on a show, so I'm
• 33:51
Speaker 3: sure they were crazy.
• 33:53
Speaker 2: She must be a real therapist, right? Or is this
• 33:54
  Speaker 2: a fake?
• 33:55
Speaker 3: No, no, she's an actress. It's a Netflix show. Yeah,
• 33:58
Speaker 3: she's an actress. So, yeah. So I think that those, yeah,
• 34:03
  Speaker 3: I don't know.
• 34:03
Speaker 2: Was she on The Crown? Just kidding. I'm really ADHD
• 34:06
  Speaker 2: right now.
• 34:07
  Speaker 4: Sorry.
• 34:07
Speaker 3: You're all over the place.
• 34:10
Speaker 2: Was she the queen?
• 34:11
Speaker 3: I'm kidding. She wouldn't be. It has a gender.
• 34:15
  Speaker 4: Right.
• 34:17
Speaker 2: Good one, Joan. I miss you.
• 34:19
  Speaker 4: I'm trying.
• 34:20
Speaker 3: I miss you too.
• 34:21
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 34:22
Speaker 4: Wow. This was very overwhelming in so many ways, but
• 34:24
  Speaker 4: also very.
• 34:27
Speaker 3: This was a lot, wasn't it? We had threesomes. We
• 34:29
Speaker 3: have pansexual. I mean, this was a lot.
• 34:33
  Speaker 2: There's a lot.
• 34:34
Speaker 4: You know, life just doesn't revolve around us, you know?
• 34:36
Speaker 3: A lot happened and we had drugs. We had threesomes.
• 34:40
Speaker 3: We had pansexual. We had a lot going on today.
• 34:44
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 34:45
Speaker 3: Lots of mormon wives yeah yeah a lot of utah happening.
• 34:49
Speaker 2: Lots of utah don't get me started i.
• 34:52
Speaker 4: Went to utah valley state college huh for a week.
• 34:55
Speaker 3: For a week yeah i don't see you in utah
• 34:59
  Speaker 3: i just.
• 35:00
Speaker 4: Don't check been there done that okay so a lot
• 35:04
