- 0:39Speaker 2: open eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, you can set
- 0:41Speaker 2: it's a text over to two to nine eight seven.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I don't know if he checked anything off his wish list,
- 0:47Speaker 2: the Menace birthday month wish list over the weekend, but
- 0:50Speaker 2: he certainly was busy weekend cheers and jeers minutes.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We'll start with you a lot of fun jeers is
- 0:56Speaker 1: started off the weekend, went to power slap with Morgan.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's a jear oh cheer.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So I thought I was gonna builder was like I
- 1:07Speaker 1: had to hang out with Morgan. Sure got to hang
- 1:09Speaker 1: with Morgan and uh, there's a power slapper, the Power
- 1:13Speaker 1: Slop event that we went to, there's a slapper that
- 1:15Speaker 1: we get behind. His name is Isaiah and he won,
- 1:18Speaker 1: so we were so excited.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It was cool to see him.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And then uh, like he went and hung out with
- 1:23Speaker 1: us like right after and everyone was like, you know
- 1:25Speaker 1: this guy, you know, in.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Front of all these people. So that was cool.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And then the next day I went to a Joe
- 1:32Speaker 1: Coy show and we did a listener me and greet
- 1:35Speaker 1: and that was that was great just to hang with
- 1:37Speaker 1: listeners for like an hour and a half after the show.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so we hit up Vegas for Power Slap, Pittsburgh
- 1:42Speaker 2: for the Joe Coy show. Yeah, PPG was just everywhere.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and then uh, last night did a listener thing
- 1:50Speaker 1: with Blink one A two, So that was super fun.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I saw Joe had posted a video when you got
- 1:55Speaker 2: to town and what did you meet him at the mall?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Looks like you write a mall.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We went to this Uh No, we went to the
- 2:01Speaker 1: shoe store it's called yeah in downtown Pittsburgh called Social Status.
- 2:08Speaker 2: So it's like this like I don't know, like urban
- 2:11Speaker 2: street wear, like the collectible kind of shoes. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 2: it was super fun. What is it with comedians and shoes?
- 2:18Speaker 4: Interesting sneakers?
- 2:19Speaker 2: The sneaker game and the comedy world are very connected,
- 2:23Speaker 2: very yeah, Like all the comedians are always like at
- 2:26Speaker 2: the like, you know, shoe store burning money.
- 2:29Speaker 4: I have a weird theory. Maybe it's because a dude
- 2:32Speaker 4: comic wears kind of basic stuff on stage, shoes are
- 2:36Speaker 4: the only thing that really stand out. Yeah, so maybe
- 2:38Speaker 4: that's why stage.
- 2:39Speaker 3: The shoes are kind of eye level to the audience.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I forgot what comic but he has like in his
- 2:44Speaker 1: rider that wherever he goes that they have to have
- 2:46Speaker 1: a new pair of air Force one for him.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I don't know I heard that. Yeah, yeah, a lot
- 2:57Speaker 2: of like what's the I'm sorry question?
- 2:59Speaker 4: Back to Power Slopper quick. Yeah, this guy that you
- 3:02Speaker 4: like won What is the prize for that? Do you do?
- 3:04Speaker 4: You know? Is it publicized? Is it like stupid money?
- 3:08Speaker 4: They always say like whatever, the prize is right, Well.
- 3:10Speaker 5: For someone like him, he won the belt, so he
- 3:12Speaker 5: did get a performance bonus. He got like ten thousand
- 3:15Speaker 5: crypto and then he also gets paid on top of that, pay.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Him in crypto.
- 3:18Speaker 5: No, no, they paid.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Him real money, Yeah, pay real money.
- 3:22Speaker 1: But he got a bonus for his I think like
- 3:25Speaker 1: online a couple of years ago when they were starting
- 3:27Speaker 1: they were getting thirty thousands, so it's probably higher than that, okay,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and then it's sponsored by a crypto things, so they
- 3:33Speaker 1: get an extra ten thousand dollars.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Yeah, so he got paid.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I'll get knocked out for that almost not enough really, Yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 3: get knocked out for thirty.
- 3:41Speaker 2: But Morgan, you're there. It's so quick and so fast. Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 1: So if you get slapped for like thirty seconds, Greg,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and you paid, let's say for an hour of work, yeah, problem,
- 3:50Speaker 1: Let's see you give fifty thousand.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Dollars and you probably won't remember it anyway, you get out.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I don't think fifties enough honestly.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but Morgan, you can say, like this Power Slaps
- 4:00Speaker 1: is like the Funnest.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's just a.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Huge party and then in the middle is people slapping
- 4:05Speaker 1: each other and.
- 4:06Speaker 5: It's super fun to watch. But being there, man, the
- 4:08Speaker 5: energy is crazy.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So a lot of good stuff like that. What's the gear?
- 4:11Speaker 2: My gear is?
- 4:12Speaker 1: So when I was at PPG and I was with Joe,
- 4:16Speaker 1: this a rep from the Penguins came by and said, hey,
- 4:19Speaker 1: do you guys want any gear, And then Joe knows
- 4:21Speaker 1: you're a fan, so he got you some gear as well.
- 4:24Speaker 1: There was some misunderstanding on the bus afterwards that I
- 4:27Speaker 1: forgot your gear, but it's on it's on the way.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's being male.
- 4:33Speaker 2: That very nice.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'll be felt bad because by the time I got
- 4:37Speaker 1: back to my hotel, I.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Was like, oh, I forgot what he stuff on the
- 4:41Speaker 2: bus side.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I thought you were going to say you got size
- 4:43Speaker 5: small or something.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate you even thinking, yeah, but you got
- 4:49Speaker 1: some good stuff from the pens on the way.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Well, I'm imagining your cheer also, probably along the lines
- 4:54Speaker 2: of power slap and that experience.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Now, I stayed in the area for UFC the next day,
- 4:59Speaker 5: and my cheer I'm gonna get all hot and bothered
- 5:02Speaker 5: just talking about it. Alex Pereira he is my favorite
- 5:04Speaker 5: UFC fighter of all time, but he's also the hottest
- 5:06Speaker 5: man in the world six four, two hundred and five pounds.
- 5:10Speaker 5: The belt is back with him. He won, so oh, man, okay.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I have no words, but she's just interested what's below
- 5:17Speaker 2: the belt? He won the belt, but she just wants
- 5:19Speaker 2: to below the.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Belt My heart's racing just thinking about him.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm just wow.
- 5:23Speaker 3: He looks like he would be the hottest guy in
- 5:25Speaker 3: any prison.
- 5:25Speaker 5: He's the hottest man in the world.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We've been around him a bunch of times. But have
- 5:29Speaker 1: you ever actually spoken to him?
- 5:30Speaker 6: No?
- 5:31Speaker 5: I haven't.
- 5:31Speaker 2: What do you think, Greg? But I took a look.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I see what she sees in him.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he's are.
- 5:38Speaker 4: You giving him?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Oh, it's your thing? But what are you giving him?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Now that I'm seeing his face more clearly?
- 5:48Speaker 2: What about four? What about the nerves? She just said,
- 5:52Speaker 2: hottest words?
- 5:53Speaker 5: Over hyping him for sure?
- 5:55Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, it's it's an absolute ten
- 5:59Speaker 3: for Morgan. I see how Morgan would be attracted guy.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Like we see how Sammy loves Glenn Powell. I see
- 6:04Speaker 3: how you love Alex Ferrera.
- 6:05Speaker 5: He's tall, he's violent, he's yeah, barely love violent guy.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I love it took him eighty seconds to knock the
- 6:13Speaker 5: guy out.
- 6:15Speaker 2: What about that other guy.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Brollo, he's a fighting nerd. Yes, another one of my
- 6:20Speaker 5: favorite really small guard. Yeah with the glasses.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that Greg would like that guy.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Look up, c I a O fighting nerds.
- 6:28Speaker 2: C i AO fighting fighting nerds.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Yeah, gotch and he also is like six four six five,
- 6:34Speaker 5: like Bill this big.
- 6:36Speaker 2: That's not him. That's not the guy we're talking about.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Okay, that is Kyle.
- 6:42Speaker 4: One.
- 6:42Speaker 5: So anyways, wow, shot out alex Berra. Yeah, I love
- 6:45Speaker 5: you babies, and you want me money?
- 6:47Speaker 2: Four you I share?
- 6:50Speaker 3: Hell yeah, bet on your man's.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Cheer cheer And then my jeers is to the waitress
- 6:56Speaker 5: that I had Saturday night at dinner. I was at
- 6:59Speaker 5: a really nice a staurant with my two friends. Right,
- 7:01Speaker 5: it's a great time. She was a lovely lady. However
- 7:05Speaker 5: she idd my two friends and she didn't I d
- 7:07Speaker 5: me and that, like I thought about.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And ladies for your mom, what will she have?
- 7:14Speaker 5: Right? Basically, and my friends you saw a menace, like
- 7:17Speaker 5: they don't look older than me.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So here, Like I think a lot of people when
- 7:21Speaker 2: they say like oh I was so bummed out of
- 7:23Speaker 2: and get carted, I don't believe. I think it's just
- 7:24Speaker 2: one of those things that people just kind of say.
- 7:26Speaker 2: It's supposed to be like, oh, you know my in laws,
- 7:29Speaker 2: It's just something people say. But with Morgan, I think
- 7:32Speaker 2: that really bothered her. Well I'm at the age they
- 7:34Speaker 2: truly bothered.
- 7:34Speaker 4: You said your friends don't look older than.
- 7:36Speaker 5: You, and they don't look younger I met.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, but would that bother you if you were
- 7:40Speaker 2: the only one not to get carted?
- 7:42Speaker 4: Maybe as a as a woman, you're.
- 7:44Speaker 3: All like thirty one ish, like if you're if you're
- 7:46Speaker 3: the only one at the table who doesn't get carted, just.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Do it to make me feel better, Like, I don't
- 7:52Speaker 5: know why she had to not Anyways, I believe.
- 7:55Speaker 2: That bothered you. Now how long have you been carrying that?
- 8:00Speaker 5: I had dreams about it last night. Yeah, no more
- 8:03Speaker 5: wrinkles on my face this morning.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Weekend cheers and jeers, Sammy.
- 8:08Speaker 6: My cheers is seeing so many friends from high school.
- 8:11Speaker 6: There was probably eight of us at my friend's wedding,
- 8:13Speaker 6: my friend from high school who got married, and it
- 8:15Speaker 6: was so much fun. It's so crazy, I think now
- 8:18Speaker 6: at this age, because to have a wedding, like there
- 8:21Speaker 6: was a lot of weddings in your.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Wedding Oklahoma, Oh okay.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 8:26Speaker 6: There's a lot of weddings in like your early twenties,
- 8:28Speaker 6: and you're not that far out of high school, so you.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Go to the weddings and is.
- 8:30Speaker 6: But now we're at the point where we're like, we've
- 8:33Speaker 6: been friends for twenty five years. Oh we're I know,
- 8:37Speaker 6: and we're sitting here at this wedding, and it was
- 8:40Speaker 6: it was just so great, Like I think this is
- 8:42Speaker 6: the I don't want to say the first wedding. Obviously,
- 8:44Speaker 6: everybody's in love at weddings, right, like the bride in
- 8:47Speaker 6: the groom, but they it would be nice, right, but
- 8:49Speaker 6: they are so in love with each other that it
- 8:51Speaker 6: was just like beautiful to it was awesome.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 8:56Speaker 6: And the venue was beautiful. The bride his dad decided
- 9:01Speaker 6: to build a venue.
- 9:03Speaker 3: For the wedding. He has two other daughters who will
- 9:05Speaker 3: probably need to get married at some point. It was
- 9:07Speaker 3: on a lake.
- 9:08Speaker 6: It was brand new.
- 9:09Speaker 3: They built the whole thing.
- 9:11Speaker 5: It was incredible.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That's man stuff right there. Yeah, I'm going to build it.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah, my dad did that. Don't dads do that?
- 9:19Speaker 2: You just build you Yeah, I'm not sure we build it.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Wow? And did steamboat Willie go with you? He did?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Did everyone meet him?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:26Speaker 3: And they liked him? Yeah?
- 9:27Speaker 5: Did you were nice to him? I was nice to him.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Did you have to remind yourself to be nice to him? No?
- 9:32Speaker 3: You write it on your hand, to you I in public.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Well I did until it was funny because when we
- 9:39Speaker 6: were walking up to the rehearsal dinner, he went to
- 9:43Speaker 6: go hold my hand, but my friend was getting married
- 9:46Speaker 6: his parents, who again I've known forever. We went to
- 9:48Speaker 6: their house every day at lunch and high school and everything.
- 9:51Speaker 6: They're they're greeting people, and so.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I had all. I was like, no, like, his parents
- 9:55Speaker 3: are right there.
- 9:56Speaker 6: You can't hold my hand in front of his parents.
- 9:58Speaker 6: It's like a weird talking about well because I was
- 10:00Speaker 6: like that in high school. Like it's a weird like
- 10:02Speaker 6: high school thing where you don't like want to I know,
- 10:06Speaker 6: but yeah, it's like getting in trouble things right there.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I know that was I got better after that, but
- 10:11Speaker 3: that was the first.
- 10:12Speaker 4: See that's the behavior of a secret game. That's very weird.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Oh god, very strange.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Well, I know I think everyone's watching me, and I
- 10:31Speaker 6: know that nobody cares, but I have this weird idea
- 10:33Speaker 6: that like people are watching me and care for some reason.
- 10:37Speaker 5: And my jeers is to.
- 10:41Speaker 6: I guess I'll say hitting something with my car, but
- 10:43Speaker 6: I'll argue that it hit me. It was on the
- 10:45Speaker 6: freeway in the dark and something came out I don't
- 10:49Speaker 6: know what it was. I still never saw what it was.
- 10:51Speaker 6: But it hit my bumper. It scraped it all up,
- 10:53Speaker 6: part of the bumper, kind of like.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Something was in the road. You hit it, you want.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Bounce bounced off all.
- 11:02Speaker 5: The cars that hit it too. It wasn't just me.
- 11:04Speaker 6: It was like it bounced back because nobody down for it.
- 11:09Speaker 3: For him.
- 11:09Speaker 6: You made female drivers right, there's things in the road, Morgan,
- 11:13Speaker 6: thank you hashed into a car.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Scrape damage, like you got to bring it somewhere or
- 11:18Speaker 2: just gonna kind of one of those I'm just kind
- 11:19Speaker 2: of ignored for a while.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Ignore it.
- 11:21Speaker 5: But it is scraped.
- 11:22Speaker 6: There is a piece on the front bumper that kind
- 11:24Speaker 6: of popped out. That has happened before, so I already
- 11:26Speaker 6: know I can buy that online.
- 11:28Speaker 3: You can pop it back in.
- 11:29Speaker 2: You would just get rid of the car immediately.
- 11:32Speaker 3: You leave it on the side of the road, walk
- 11:34Speaker 3: to where.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Right, you get it repainted, and if you're not happy
- 11:37Speaker 4: with that, then you get rid of it.
- 11:38Speaker 2: That's exactly what I did. Shock the car got repaired.
- 11:41Speaker 2: He got a small scrape on the bumper, You got
- 11:43Speaker 2: it fixed up, and you couldn't even tell Like I
- 11:46Speaker 2: looked at it and I can't even tell where it was. No,
- 11:48Speaker 2: it was right here, and he's showing me, and I
- 11:50Speaker 2: go to gray. I can't even see it anyway. He's
- 11:52Speaker 2: like yeah, And then next thing I know, he had
- 11:55Speaker 2: traded the car in and got another car because he
- 11:58Speaker 2: knew where it used to be.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Greg, I have a question. A lot of times you'll
- 12:01Speaker 3: be like, sorry, I'm normal for doing the most outlandish thing.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Do you think that's normal?
- 12:06Speaker 4: Probably not okay, But to be fair, that's not normal.
- 12:10Speaker 3: It was a shade of whitekind I got rid of
- 12:12Speaker 3: a truck.
- 12:13Speaker 2: One time because it was dirty, dirty, I just brought
- 12:17Speaker 2: it to the car wash. Yeah, and said, he brought
- 12:19Speaker 2: it to the dealership.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Now this this traded that got a new car. This
- 12:23Speaker 4: is a shade of white. They couldn't quite match. So
- 12:25Speaker 4: to me, it had a yellow hint to it.
- 12:27Speaker 3: So it was like eggshell and that bone.
- 12:28Speaker 2: No exactly, you couldn't tell. I saw it, and I
- 12:31Speaker 2: would I feel like I would know, you would know, yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 2: but I couldn't even I couldn't even tell.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But he knew.
- 12:36Speaker 2: That's how that mattered his car.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Guess coming new cars.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So you know who does stuff like that? People on
- 12:42Speaker 2: that the fact that morons is pretty good. Right to
- 12:52Speaker 2: Gina grad who standing by with this morning's trending news headlines.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Well, former NFL QB Mark Sanchez was stabbed Ontown, Indianapolis.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That crazy story of the weeknd.
- 13:02Speaker 3: He's insane after he attacked a sixty nine year old
- 13:06Speaker 3: truck driver. So Sanchez, you know, the sports analyst now.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Former quarterback, right inventor of the butt fumble and.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Pretty cute, I must say, apparently was mad at the
- 13:16Speaker 3: driver because he had double parks. So he climbed into
- 13:19Speaker 3: the truck cab, attacked the driver, got pepper sprayed, kept attacking,
- 13:24Speaker 3: and then got stabbed by the driver. Sanchez was taking
- 13:27Speaker 3: the hospital, got surgery for his stab wounds, and then
- 13:29Speaker 3: was arrested.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Did you see the guy that he attacked, the sixty
- 13:32Speaker 2: nine year old?
- 13:33Speaker 4: I just know he's sixty nine.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Dumbass, Tyler, find the picture on your phone, bring it
- 13:37Speaker 2: in show everybody, like, dude, this guy got messed up,
- 13:41Speaker 2: like Sanchez kicked this guy's ass. I never know wonder
- 13:44Speaker 2: he got stabbed. Reporting I didn't see what the driver
- 13:46Speaker 2: looked like. Oh dude, yeah, because Sanchez. The report started
- 13:49Speaker 2: with Mark Sanchez in the hospital after getting stabbed.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, Oh no, oh, what happened?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Next thing, you know, Mark Sanchez arrested. He was the
- 13:57Speaker 2: aggressor and what oh here comes as taking his time.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He was looking for the photo. As he's looking for
- 14:04Speaker 2: the photo, as he's uh, what do we got?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Go ahead, Okay, well let's see here. Yeah, he was
- 14:11Speaker 3: charged with let's see, injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle,
- 14:15Speaker 3: and public intoxication. But the arrest is quote merely an accusation,
- 14:20Speaker 3: and Sanchez should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
- 14:23Speaker 2: That's amble careers, geezunfumbled one and then the TV careers
- 14:28Speaker 2: now toast remember any of it? Look at this dude,
- 14:31Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 14:32Speaker 3: God, he messed this dude attacked by a doll. Yeah wow,
- 14:39Speaker 3: he says he doesn't remember it. He's out of jail now.
- 14:41Speaker 3: He posted. Bail was like three hundred bucks and the
- 14:43Speaker 3: hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. But yeah, that that truck
- 14:46Speaker 3: driver doesn't look good. All right? Well, the Sunday night
- 14:50Speaker 3: football game ended with the Patriots beating the Bills in Buffalo.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Wide receiver Stefan Diggs got his revenge with a great
- 14:57Speaker 3: game it's Buffalo's first loss of the season. In with
- 15:00Speaker 3: both the Bills and the Eagles losing, there are no
- 15:03Speaker 3: more undefeated teams left. The Eagles lost to Denver yesterday
- 15:07Speaker 3: than elsewhere in the league. Titans got their first win
- 15:10Speaker 3: of the season, so now it's just the Jets who
- 15:13Speaker 3: are all alone as the team without a single win.
- 15:15Speaker 3: They Cowboys, the Rams lost, the Chargers charged, the Ravens
- 15:21Speaker 3: got crushed, which you enjoy that.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I love that.
- 15:25Speaker 3: In fact, his Steelers had a pretty decent bye week.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Not even play and they still won. Yeah, Steelers had
- 15:30Speaker 2: to buy this week and everybody else in the AFC North,
- 15:33Speaker 2: everybody else lost. So Ravens lost, Cincinnati lost, Cleveland lost,
- 15:39Speaker 2: So it's pretty great. Everybody else in the division has
- 15:41Speaker 2: a losing record. Steelers are sitting at the number one
- 15:44Speaker 2: of three and one.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Now do you believe Aaron Rodgers with the Jets drama?
- 15:48Speaker 1: That it might have been also the Jets.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I mean the Jets are a cursed franchise. Yeah, it's
- 15:53Speaker 2: like that one spot. Everybody's got that spot in your yard.
- 15:56Speaker 2: No matter what you do, he won't nothing.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Rose.
- 16:00Speaker 2: You can put a rock garden there and the Rocks
- 16:02Speaker 2: will just sinking in the dirt and will still be
- 16:04Speaker 2: just dirt. They all are somehow sunk to the middle
- 16:06Speaker 2: of the of the planet. You can't get that to work.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I wonder though, because you know that Internet guy Gary Vee, Right,
- 16:14Speaker 1: his dream is to buy the Jets, right, But as
- 16:17Speaker 1: a fan, you want the Jets to do well, but
- 16:19Speaker 1: his dream is to buy them, so you would want
- 16:22Speaker 1: them not to do well because then they would be
- 16:23Speaker 1: more affordable.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 16:24Speaker 2: So it's a He says it as as like that's
- 16:27Speaker 2: his kind of big overarching goal, knowing that the chances
- 16:30Speaker 2: of him actually doing that are pretty slim to none.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's just one of it's just out there. He throws
- 16:35Speaker 2: it out there. If it manifested, manifested the vision board. Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to consider his life of
- 16:40Speaker 2: failure if he doesn't do it, doesn't achieve that.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Well, the rest of the AFC North Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland,
- 16:46Speaker 3: like you said, all lost. Week five wraps up tonight
- 16:48Speaker 3: with the Chiefs in Jacksonville on Monday night football, and
- 16:52Speaker 3: the sentencing for Diddy went down Friday and the judge
- 16:54Speaker 3: gave him Yeah, well it might be good news, gave
- 16:57Speaker 3: him a little over four years in prison, less than
- 17:00Speaker 3: the eleven years that the prosecutors wanted. The sentence also
- 17:04Speaker 3: includes time serve, meaning did he would only have to
- 17:06Speaker 3: spend about three years in prison, and the judge also
- 17:09Speaker 3: imposed a half million dollar fine and five years of
- 17:12Speaker 3: supervised release when he gets out. Now, both sides are
- 17:15Speaker 3: pissed because the prosecutors think the sentence is too lenient
- 17:18Speaker 3: and the defense team says it's too harsh. They think
- 17:21Speaker 3: that between the year in prison, his damaged reputation, the
- 17:24Speaker 3: professional harm, the civil lawsuits, that Diddy has been punished
- 17:27Speaker 3: enough and should be free, and of course they're gonna appeal,
- 17:30Speaker 3: so don't worry. Yeah. No, here's the thing.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I've been saying this from the beginning. The second thing
- 17:37Speaker 1: is out of jail, he's gonna go do shows. And
- 17:40Speaker 1: it was already proven that. That's why he kind of
- 17:42Speaker 1: got the four years as well, because he already had
- 17:45Speaker 1: events set up for the second that he got out
- 17:47Speaker 1: in Miami, so doesn't want to miss those, and then
- 17:50Speaker 1: the judge found out about that. So it's just like,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you're not really sorry about any of this stuff. No,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you're already setting up, you know, things to do.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And we were talking about how quickly time passes, and
- 18:00Speaker 2: somebody said, dude, COVID was five years ago. It's five years.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I mean, it doesn't feel like it was yesterday, but
- 18:07Speaker 2: five years.
- 18:08Speaker 3: It was pretty recent.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Maybe year it feels more recent than five years.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Yeah, And did you guys see the court sketch with
- 18:14Speaker 3: Diddy like on the floor, like pitching his chair. It
- 18:17Speaker 3: was pretty great.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Assume the position you're gonna need that. Yeah, that chair.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Well, two kids were killed and two more were injured
- 18:25Speaker 3: in this bizarre shooting at a Texas truck stop. Cops
- 18:29Speaker 3: say that the mother of the kids was in the
- 18:31Speaker 3: car with them and for some reason just started shooting them.
- 18:34Speaker 3: The cops were called and were thankfully able to save
- 18:36Speaker 3: two of the kids after flying them to a nearby hospital.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Mom arrested, charged with two counts of murder, two counts
- 18:42Speaker 3: of aggravated assault with the deadly weapon. And this is
- 18:44Speaker 3: still very much an ongoing investigation. The MLB Division Series
- 18:49Speaker 3: kicked off this weekend. The Dodgers are up one game
- 18:51Speaker 3: to nothing in their series with Philadelphia Game two tonight.
- 18:55Speaker 3: The Burers beat the Cubs in game one, Game two
- 18:57Speaker 3: tonight in the American League. The Blue Jays are crushing
- 19:00Speaker 3: the Yankees.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's not even That's not even a
- 19:03Speaker 2: fair fight. There should be a mercy rule on that. Yes,
- 19:08Speaker 2: something like that. Yeah, in the first game they lost
- 19:11Speaker 2: by like ten runs.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yep. Game three in New York tomorrow. Then in
- 19:16Speaker 3: Seattle the Tigers stole a game one victory and extra innings,
- 19:19Speaker 3: but the Mariners bounced back to Game two and even
- 19:22Speaker 3: the series at one to one. And the box office
- 19:25Speaker 3: kind of a flop this weekend, that is, if you're
- 19:27Speaker 3: not counting. Taylor Swift. Her new album release late last week,
- 19:31Speaker 3: and part of the release was a three day theatrical
- 19:34Speaker 3: release that included a new music video, behind the scenes
- 19:36Speaker 3: footage of the video, never before seen personal reflections of
- 19:40Speaker 3: her songs.
- 19:40Speaker 2: You guys all went right, obviously.
- 19:42Speaker 3: The release did so well. It came in at number one. Now,
- 19:46Speaker 3: if you want to stay with actual movies, The Leo
- 19:48Speaker 3: DiCaprio One Battle after Another, that's in first again, followed
- 19:52Speaker 3: by The Rocks The Smashing Machine. I'm sure you guys
- 19:54Speaker 3: are super into that number two. Gabby's Dollhouse the movie
- 19:58Speaker 3: came in number three. The Conjuring Last Rights fourth, and
- 20:01Speaker 3: Demon Slayer Infinity Castle rounded out the top five, and
- 20:04Speaker 3: things will pick a back up next weekend with the
- 20:06Speaker 3: release of both Disney's tron Ares and Channing Tatum's roof Man,
- 20:11Speaker 3: which both came out Friday. And get ready costco members
- 20:15Speaker 3: because they are getting into the weight loss game by
- 20:17Speaker 3: bringing in the big drugs. They're about to partner with
- 20:20Speaker 3: Novo Nordisk and will offer discounted prices of o Zepic
- 20:24Speaker 3: and we Go v for members.
- 20:25Speaker 2: You can get a forty pack of shots. Yeah serious,
- 20:29Speaker 2: You just.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Get a palette jack and they beat it back to
- 20:31Speaker 3: your car.
- 20:32Speaker 2: That's right.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm team zet Bound. I saw that news and then
- 20:35Speaker 1: but I saw like, oh it's not zeb bound.
- 20:37Speaker 3: So well, that means costco members can buy the four
- 20:40Speaker 3: weeks supply for four ninety nine, which is about half
- 20:42Speaker 3: of the normal retail price, and that is about the
- 20:44Speaker 3: going rate for a lot of companies because like the.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Zet Bound like a little under five hundred bucks.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Yeah, everything's around for the month.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Yeah wait, I can just go in there and buy it.
- 20:52Speaker 3: No, no, no offer available to customers with a valid
- 20:55Speaker 3: prescription and not covered by insurance. On top of that,
- 20:58Speaker 3: but if you have the cost sco Visa Morgan, you
- 21:01Speaker 3: could get a bigger discount what a charging for Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 3: which I said, it's a lot like the other companies
- 21:08Speaker 3: right now.
- 21:08Speaker 2: So what is it without the insurance?
- 21:11Speaker 3: It's it can be anywhere from eight hundred to twelve hundred.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Really, yeah, yeah, five hundred sounds outrageous.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you think like, oh like one twenty a week
- 21:21Speaker 3: for that kind of why.
- 21:22Speaker 1: My argument though, with the whole thing that it costs
- 21:25Speaker 1: five hundred dollars is like, you're eating way less. So
- 21:28Speaker 1: think about how much you're spending on food each month,
- 21:31Speaker 1: So you're actually balancing. Yeah, you're actually balancing.
- 21:34Speaker 6: McDonald sends notes like and you can cancel your gym
- 21:37Speaker 6: membership because who needs what's what's it?
- 21:40Speaker 2: What's it worth to you? Yeah?
- 21:42Speaker 3: True, it's worth five hund Oh.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Never they doubled it, it would still sell.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, And that's what's going on.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I thank you very much, Gina Grass.
- 21:50Speaker 3: We're already you want to.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Burner media rare? You hear burger media rare bitch is.
- 21:57Speaker 3: So meaty because I'm Russian.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It was the best thing, honestly, these We had this
- 22:08Speaker 2: program director at one point and just on a whim,
- 22:12Speaker 2: he would just go run a marathon. Oh yeah, it's like, oh,
- 22:15Speaker 2: you know what, night before I'm thinking about thinking about
- 22:18Speaker 2: going somewhere like wherever it was, doing the marathon this weekend,
- 22:22Speaker 2: Like you're just gonna you're gonna hop on a plane today.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but he would.
- 22:27Speaker 2: He would run so much. I mean, he could just
- 22:29Speaker 2: do it. He was always in shape, in marathon shape
- 22:33Speaker 2: and ready to go. And then I got a bunch
- 22:36Speaker 2: of other people I know who loved doing these you know,
- 22:38Speaker 2: five k's, ten ks like.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Mud runs or whatever.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, oh boy, that just doesn't sound appealing
- 22:44Speaker 2: at all. But over the weekend in Denver there was
- 22:47Speaker 2: an ultra runner race that had a little twist to it.
- 22:50Speaker 2: The race was thirty one miles long. It was called
- 22:53Speaker 2: the Taco Bell fifty k because during the race you
- 22:58Speaker 2: had to make a mandatory stop but ten local taco
- 23:01Speaker 2: bells along the way and eat the food. Yeah, oh
- 23:05Speaker 2: my god. Rules. Out of the ten taco bells you
- 23:09Speaker 2: stop at, you have to order something at nine of them,
- 23:11Speaker 2: including at least one crunch wrap Supreme or chelupa Supreme.
- 23:16Speaker 2: By the fourth stop, you had to do that and
- 23:18Speaker 2: then one Burrito Supreme or Nacho's Bell Grande by the
- 23:21Speaker 2: eighth stop nice, and you needed to finish all thirty
- 23:25Speaker 2: one miles within eleven hours. Anybody you're yeah, oh yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 2: you're not allowed any stomach medicine on the run. You
- 23:33Speaker 2: could you could use the bathroom as much as you
- 23:36Speaker 2: wanted to, but only Taco Bell bathrooms and if you puked,
- 23:41Speaker 2: you were disqualified.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah, those poor bathrooms.
- 23:44Speaker 2: And so yeah, this is the eighth time they've done this.
- 23:47Speaker 2: About six hundred people participated in it. Not everybody finishes, Yeah, imagine, well, yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 2: of course. Now here are a couple of runners that
- 23:55Speaker 2: documented their journey.
- 23:57Speaker 3: The Taco Bell and we're going fall down?
- 24:00Speaker 6: Are we thirty to go for the second hoousand, two
- 24:02Speaker 6: thousand three days? Set them in questions mountains cheesy roll up,
- 24:07Speaker 6: say a Broaday's.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Twenty I r at the next chapter belt TC roll
- 24:11Speaker 5: up that has been in my belt for the past
- 24:14Speaker 5: five miles mile thirty I talk about.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Yeah, like, how about you not pick badass?
- 24:23Speaker 4: And they're in good moods, they sound.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Schuper I know, like I cann't do the food part.
- 24:27Speaker 1: It would just be too much food.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yeah, like for that together.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I've been running.
- 24:30Speaker 4: I couldn't do the run part right.
- 24:33Speaker 2: The food part I could do.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I couldn't do that at all.
- 24:36Speaker 2: The run part, no one. If you got to walk it, hell.
- 24:39Speaker 5: No, eleven hours you probably no.
- 24:41Speaker 2: You could walk it, I'm saying. But like I wouldn't
- 24:43Speaker 2: want to now.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's the thing, you know how I love
- 24:45Speaker 3: a gimmick to get me to exercise, if it's rank
- 24:47Speaker 3: you know, slasher size or puppy yoga. That's why I'm
- 24:51Speaker 3: all on board with this. I think this is hilarious.
- 24:53Speaker 2: The taco bell fifty k love it. Thirty one mile,
- 24:56Speaker 2: I mean, men walk the forty one miles.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, seemed out of his mind at the end.
- 25:03Speaker 2: But yeah, but I didn't really consume anything. I had
- 25:06Speaker 2: like some beef jerky on the way, but.
- 25:08Speaker 4: That was it. But you didn't use the bathroom either.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I used the bathroom one time. Burger King's getting rid
- 25:14Speaker 2: of the King, you guys what, Thanks to complaints from parents,
- 25:17Speaker 2: they have been slowly phasing him out. They've him forever.
- 25:21Speaker 2: In a statement, Burger King said that they were always
- 25:23Speaker 2: a family brand, and from ads to social media, you'll
- 25:26Speaker 2: see a brand that's welcoming in fun, but not at
- 25:29Speaker 2: anyone's expense. But they admitted that the king was maybe
- 25:32Speaker 2: a little creepy, and so they've they've moved away because
- 25:34Speaker 2: of his quote limited appeal.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Paper crowns are so fun.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Do you know that mascot? They had the big giant
- 25:43Speaker 2: plastic plastic key looking mask faceing thing.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Parents really complained.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because it was scaring the kids. Yeah, and
- 25:52Speaker 2: so the kids wouldn't want to go to Burger King
- 25:53Speaker 2: because they were scared the mascot's not in there. But
- 25:59Speaker 2: I guess they saw it enough. Of the commercials.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Weird bad association with mean are they.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Still doing the commercials like Whopper Whopper you rue? That
- 26:12Speaker 2: was a great campaign. At one point my son knew
- 26:14Speaker 2: all of the songs, every single one.
- 26:17Speaker 3: All the kids at school would do this.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Is what you're doing. Yeah, And restaurant chains are changing
- 26:21Speaker 2: up their menus just a bit. The food for most
- 26:24Speaker 2: places staying the same, but you might notice that the
- 26:26Speaker 2: portion sizes are getting smaller. Greg, but that's on the
- 26:29Speaker 2: purpose Olive Garden. They've already gotten the head start. They've
- 26:32Speaker 2: cut down the portions at over half of their locations.
- 26:35Speaker 2: And uh, they just say customer our customers are changing
- 26:39Speaker 2: their preferences and the economic factors and it's paying off.
- 26:42Speaker 2: At least Olive Gardens saying they've gotten a lot of
- 26:44Speaker 2: positive feedback and more sales thanks to better affordability because
- 26:48Speaker 2: if the portions are smaller, they can charge less and
- 26:50Speaker 2: so more people will go and go, oh, this is
- 26:52Speaker 2: more reasonable and you get a big, giant portion, half
- 26:55Speaker 2: of which you're taking home.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Yeah, if it's lester, fine, But people say, oh, I
- 27:00Speaker 4: like the small cokes for better. No, you don't know.
- 27:04Speaker 2: We always had like it was McDonald's.
- 27:08Speaker 4: You know.
- 27:08Speaker 2: McDonald said any size drink for like, why would you
- 27:11Speaker 2: get the small would?
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Other restaurants are following the move. Cheesecake Factory changing their
- 27:17Speaker 2: bytes section with portions priced under ten dollars, PF Chang's
- 27:21Speaker 2: changing their menu to include both traditional and medium sized entrees.
- 27:24Speaker 3: What cons is cheaper, like, ye, longs is cheaper?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Cool?
- 27:29Speaker 4: Then do it.
- 27:30Speaker 3: You're just not getting less with the same price. Fine.
- 27:31Speaker 2: What was the restaurant where you would go in there?
- 27:35Speaker 2: I think was it?
- 27:35Speaker 3: Uh Maggiano's, Oh, the big family style.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Magiana is Italian. Uh, you would go in there,
- 27:42Speaker 2: but you would order one meal and they would pack
- 27:45Speaker 2: one up for you to take home. So you like
- 27:46Speaker 2: you ordered whatever something they would do. Yeah, And so
- 27:49Speaker 2: by ordering that, they would also give you to go, yeah,
- 27:51Speaker 2: like a full portion though it's not like whatever you
- 27:53Speaker 2: didn't finish, and they would never bring it out for
- 27:56Speaker 2: you to eat while you were there. It was automatically
- 27:58Speaker 2: just packaged up.
- 27:59Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 27:59Speaker 2: And you just bring it so that you would have
- 28:02Speaker 2: two dinners.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Such a grandmother move.
- 28:05Speaker 2: That's oh yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 5: But was it the same price as a regular one?
- 28:08Speaker 5: Played apasta or was it more?
- 28:10Speaker 2: I mean I forget and I remember thinking like, wow, awesome,
- 28:13Speaker 2: what am I going to take home?
- 28:15Speaker 3: What do I want for later?
- 28:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Pretty good? Eight seven seven forty four Wooding. I haven't
- 28:20Speaker 2: seen the Machi and I haven't seen the PF Changs,
- 28:22Speaker 2: And I feel like forever I see PF Changs, but
- 28:24Speaker 2: I've never been to them. I know the name. There
- 28:27Speaker 2: used to be a lot more of them than there
- 28:28Speaker 2: are now. They closed a bunch of my think, the
- 28:31Speaker 2: pfch the PF Changs.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I always got a little tummy troubles at pfcheck.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Whether around there's a location that used to be a
- 28:38Speaker 2: PF Chang's and they left the big stone horse coach
- 28:42Speaker 2: and horse thing out in front, but now it's an
- 28:44Speaker 2: ie hop.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Oh really, I always want to get on that thing.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Are you guys to get on?
- 28:50Speaker 3: What happens?
- 28:50Speaker 4: No?
- 28:51Speaker 3: See if they taste it.
- 28:52Speaker 5: When you walk by it, it's always like, oh my god.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It's the location on the way to LA it's on Sepulvida.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Like if you you're going down toward L A X,
- 28:59Speaker 2: there's the the in and out right before you hit
- 29:01Speaker 2: the airport of the right, right before you get to that.
- 29:03Speaker 2: If you're driving toward the airport, it's on the left
- 29:05Speaker 2: hand side. It used to be it used to be
- 29:07Speaker 2: a PF chains and now it's been an eyehob for years.
- 29:10Speaker 2: But they still have the big stone trojan horse out
- 29:13Speaker 2: in front. I think it's so funny. Just looks so
- 29:15Speaker 2: out of place. Eight Woody text us over to two
- 29:21Speaker 2: to ninety seven. We're gonna take a quick break. We've
- 29:23Speaker 2: got some more Woodies show coming up for your next time.
- 29:26Speaker 2: More Woody show is that
