- 0:07Speaker 1: There's a war waging in crypto today, and of course
- 0:10Speaker 1: you guys probably know about this, and this is the
- 0:12Speaker 1: anti crypto army that's been in our mess for quite
- 0:16Speaker 1: a while. We're going to break it all down for
- 0:17Speaker 1: you guys and see what is changing, because there are
- 0:20Speaker 1: some changes you don't want to miss it. My name
- 0:22Speaker 1: is Paul Baron. Welcome back in the tech path, all right.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So I want to thank our sponsor today and that
- 0:26Speaker 1: is Tangium. And if you're looking at self customing, maybe
- 0:28Speaker 1: you've never looked at it before because you thought it
- 0:30Speaker 1: was just too difficult to do. This is one of
- 0:32Speaker 1: the best solutions out there for ease of use, and
- 0:35Speaker 1: it evolves of course a three card set. It's the
- 0:38Speaker 1: best way to go. It works with your app on
- 0:40Speaker 1: your iPhone or your Android, and it makes it super
- 0:43Speaker 1: secure and also super simple to use. You can pretty
- 0:46Speaker 1: much get any token out there you would want to
- 0:49Speaker 1: be able to transfer to your self custody wallet. Use
- 0:53Speaker 1: our link down below. It's going to give you an
- 0:54Speaker 1: additional discount and make sure when you go over to it,
- 0:57Speaker 1: click on that and get Tangent button. It's going to
- 0:59Speaker 1: take you to the free card set. That's the one
- 1:01Speaker 1: you want to get that way, You've got that extra
- 1:03Speaker 1: out there for you. It's one of the greatest ones
- 1:06Speaker 1: out there. So check it out. Let's get into it today.
- 1:08Speaker 1: A couple other points I want to get to is
- 1:10Speaker 1: really some of the actions that have been taken against
- 1:13Speaker 1: the crypto industry and in general, I think against really
- 1:17Speaker 1: Americans in general. This was a Digital Asset Money Laundering
- 1:21Speaker 1: Act of twenty twenty three led by Senator Warren, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: Senator Warren pushed this to really kind of control the
- 1:28Speaker 1: flow of digital assets outside the United States. Now, most
- 1:32Speaker 1: of this, if you're wiring funds and doing certain actions
- 1:35Speaker 1: that are financial, you fill out forms in whether it's
- 1:38Speaker 1: bank forms, swift forms, all those kind of things for wires,
- 1:43Speaker 1: especially above the ten thousand dollars acts. I was our amount,
- 1:46Speaker 1: so I wasn't too secure or concerned about this. But
- 1:49Speaker 1: what is happening is this is starting to get into
- 1:52Speaker 1: some pretty crazy areas in terms of really controlling how
- 1:57Speaker 1: money flows, especially around digital assets. All right, So on
- 1:59Speaker 1: another note right here, this of course is a Centate
- 2:01Speaker 1: Banking committee. You look at kind of the list of
- 2:04Speaker 1: people that are on it, and of course Senator Warren
- 2:06Speaker 1: the number one controller of what's happening over in the
- 2:10Speaker 1: Banking Committee itself. Now, I want to go to a
- 2:11Speaker 1: clip real quick because this will get into some detail
- 2:14Speaker 1: around some of the things that are happening within this.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And this is a Senate Banking hearing that they continue
- 2:21Speaker 1: to fud on crypto and the statements here are pretty crazy,
- 2:25Speaker 1: so listen it.
- 2:26Speaker 2: These mines are actually warehouses stuffed with computers that process
- 2:32Speaker 2: crypto transactions and produce new crypto tokens that round, they're hot,
- 2:38Speaker 2: and they suck up a ton of electricity which can
- 2:42Speaker 2: crash the power grid. According to a blockchain analytics firm, today,
- 2:48Speaker 2: one third of crypto mining facilities in the US are
- 2:53Speaker 2: owned by citizens of the People's Republic of China. So
- 2:57Speaker 2: you oversaw the investigation and into Mine one and told
- 3:02Speaker 2: the President that the divestment was essential. Mine one was
- 3:07Speaker 2: located one mile from a strategic missile base. So I
- 3:11Speaker 2: want to ask you, could the equipment inside that crypto
- 3:14Speaker 2: mind have been used to spy on our military operations
- 3:19Speaker 2: and our nuclear weapons system.
- 3:22Speaker 3: There is a generalized concern that sophisticated equipment in proximity
- 3:27Speaker 3: to sensitive facilities can be used for espionage.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Okay, so can be used for espionage.
- 3:35Speaker 1: They understand what miners are, right, GPUs, these are not
- 3:39Speaker 1: necessarily processing equipment that I think would go in that direction.
- 3:44Speaker 1: That's a big reach, I feel, and I think the
- 3:47Speaker 1: fact that we see this kind of connection is pretty staggering.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I want to go to this next clip because this
- 3:52Speaker 1: goes into kind of the whole talking points that are
- 3:55Speaker 1: driven into the crypto industry that I think are really
- 3:58Speaker 1: misleading and maybe not giving the correct education to our lawmakers.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But it isn't the only risk. Foreign owned crypto minds
- 4:08Speaker 2: also threaten our energy grid? Could that threaten our National
- 4:12Speaker 2: Security Center?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Of course, an impact on our energy sector, our energy resources,
- 4:19Speaker 3: our energy supply chain could very much have an ascrete impact.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It is time for us to pass the laws that
- 4:27Speaker 2: Treasury needs.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So this has so many holes in
- 4:31Speaker 1: it and I don't know where to start. I mean, listen, guys,
- 4:33Speaker 1: there's many things that can affect the electrical grid. Mining
- 4:36Speaker 1: is not necessarily one of them. Since the idea for
- 4:39Speaker 1: a miner is to get to zero cost. His goal
- 4:43Speaker 1: is to reduce the amount of energy and do it
- 4:47Speaker 1: in a way that is clean. So I think this
- 4:50Speaker 1: completely gets eliminated in any kind of argument if people
- 4:53Speaker 1: are just educated around this topic. All right, So here's
- 4:56Speaker 1: clean Spark who acquired the mining size she's referencing in Wyoming,
- 5:00Speaker 1: A clean Spark of course, well known out there. The
- 5:02Speaker 1: company plans to deploy a combination of S one and
- 5:06Speaker 1: two's really to kind of go in for more efficient.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Again back to the point of efficient bitcoin mining. All
- 5:12Speaker 1: of this is happening to reduce the cost of doing that. Now, granted,
- 5:16Speaker 1: clean Spark us company, all of this is tied into
- 5:19Speaker 1: I think the future of where bitcoin mining is going
- 5:21Speaker 1: to be going. Now, I want to go into the
- 5:23Speaker 1: clip from clean Spark explaining this. Take a look.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Immersion cooling is one of the most efficient ways to
- 5:29Speaker 4: cool high performance computers. It helps extend the life of
- 5:32Speaker 4: the machine while also reducing e waste. Immersion cooling is
- 5:35Speaker 4: the act of removing heat from a heat generating electronic
- 5:38Speaker 4: component by submerging it and fluid. First, we remove the
- 5:41Speaker 4: fans so the liquid can flow unimpeded through the machine,
- 5:44Speaker 4: reliably eliminating most of the operating noise and failure points
- 5:48Speaker 4: within the device. The machines are then strategically placed into
- 5:51Speaker 4: specialized tanks. The miners are submerged in a single phase
- 5:54Speaker 4: hydrocarbon oil. This oil is non corrosive, non flammable, in
- 5:58Speaker 4: ozone safe depending on the environment. The liquid has a
- 6:02Speaker 4: usable life of five to seven years. The result, we
- 6:05Speaker 4: can use fewer machines while still maintaining our output. In
- 6:09Speaker 4: other words, we can produce more bitcoin with fewer resources.
- 6:14Speaker 1: All right, So what that tells me, guys, is that
- 6:17Speaker 1: America is leading an innovation. Imagine if we need to
- 6:20Speaker 1: do that in the race for AI. All right, So
- 6:23Speaker 1: remember Elizabeth Warren source information from this company. This is
- 6:27Speaker 1: their website. This These are the intelligence reports that we're
- 6:31Speaker 1: seeing on hamas. Remember that has been debunked by chain
- 6:34Speaker 1: analysis wob binance. You see all these recognizable names within
- 6:39Speaker 1: even tether and their role in illegal activities. The point
- 6:44Speaker 1: is is that this is a company that is clearly
- 6:47Speaker 1: set up to target the industry. This is something that
- 6:50Speaker 1: happens in DC quite a bit. In other words, you
- 6:52Speaker 1: prop up a research firm, you support that research firm,
- 6:55Speaker 1: then you give it a media arm. And the media
- 6:58Speaker 1: arm is clear right here, the media coverage right here,
- 7:01Speaker 1: as they're tied into all things everything from BlockWorks to axios,
- 7:05Speaker 1: et cetera. And the flow is real. I mean once
- 7:08Speaker 1: that you establish some sort of report and it looks authentic,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it looks like it has some capacity, then you can
- 7:14Speaker 1: easily roll that out into a media campaign and control
- 7:19Speaker 1: the narrative. This is the point control the narrative. Now
- 7:22Speaker 1: Here is one of the representatives, the CEO from INCA
- 7:25Speaker 1: Digital admitting to this.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Take a look like maybe this is a little quippie,
- 7:30Speaker 5: But I'm not anti crypto, right, I'm just like anti
- 7:33Speaker 5: stealing people's money.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, right.
- 7:35Speaker 5: So, like, if you go on our website, you'll see
- 7:38Speaker 5: some reports which I know that you've seen right where
- 7:41Speaker 5: we call out specific exchanges with every single one of
- 7:44Speaker 5: those reports. We always reach out to the subject subjects
- 7:49Speaker 5: of those reports first, and in some cases it's me
- 7:53Speaker 5: literally begging them to take a phone call and I'm like, hey,
- 7:59Speaker 5: we see that you're services to sanctioned Russian banks. Here's
- 8:02Speaker 5: the data. Can we talk now. Obviously, like a little
- 8:06Speaker 5: bit of this is like I want to sell them services. Honestly,
- 8:09Speaker 5: if they just said like, okay, we're not going to
- 8:11Speaker 5: buy any of your shit, Inca. But you know, I
- 8:12Speaker 5: see what happens. So like you're saying, guys, FYI like
- 8:15Speaker 5: you need help like preventing this. Yeah, yeah, sometimes right
- 8:17Speaker 5: then I'm like, okay, well, I guess I'm going public
- 8:20Speaker 5: with it. Then I guess you're criminals. Basically we're the
- 8:23Speaker 5: ones that are doing it, right. We are selling this
- 8:25Speaker 5: data to the government. We also sell this data, the
- 8:27Speaker 5: majority of it, to anybody else that wants to buy it, right, Okay.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So I don't understand if you if you have the
- 8:35Speaker 1: data it was so called data, and then you offer
- 8:37Speaker 1: the solution to someone and if they don't engage with you,
- 8:41Speaker 1: you reveal the data. So essentially you're kind of holding
- 8:44Speaker 1: them hostage or blackmailing them in some sort of sense
- 8:47Speaker 1: that I think is the problem here. And of course
- 8:49Speaker 1: you get into things like, well, just the definition of blackmail.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It can be considered whether it's a crime, regardless whether
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's true or not. So whether this accurate information is
- 8:59Speaker 1: there by this company or not. The fact that they
- 9:03Speaker 1: can actually go out and do this is very very suspect.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So the good news is that there's actually some lawmakers
- 9:10Speaker 1: that are starting to read between the lines and understand, hey,
- 9:13Speaker 1: this is kind of scammy and probably is not real.
- 9:16Speaker 1: And of course if you look at the co sponsors
- 9:19Speaker 1: of this, I'll zoom in on this. So you guys
- 9:21Speaker 1: can get some of these names, if they're in your district,
- 9:23Speaker 1: should let them know, reach out to them, let them
- 9:25Speaker 1: know what your position on it. Right now, the good
- 9:27Speaker 1: thing is is that Senator Marshall, Roger Marshall out of Kansas,
- 9:31Speaker 1: a Republican, has left the committee, so he's withdrawn from that.
- 9:36Speaker 1: This is a big deal because it starts to set
- 9:38Speaker 1: the tone I think for a lot of people, and
- 9:41Speaker 1: we're starting to see this more and more in DC,
- 9:43Speaker 1: especially with all the lobbyists and the efforts that we've
- 9:46Speaker 1: seen within the group out there. So nothing more inspiring
- 9:49Speaker 1: crypto policy members update their priors on crypto. This is,
- 9:52Speaker 1: of course, is Roger Marshall coming out and getting out
- 9:55Speaker 1: of this, So kudos to you, Senator Marshall. Great to
- 9:59Speaker 1: see people will actually wait waking up to it now.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He of course now on the standard crypto side, is
- 10:05Speaker 1: now in a position where he is supporting crypto. So
- 10:09Speaker 1: I think we're going to see a lot more of
- 10:10Speaker 1: this in DC where people are starting to understand there's
- 10:14Speaker 1: a narrative here, So I want to go to this
- 10:15Speaker 1: next clip, and the next clip is a little bit
- 10:18Speaker 1: more on John Deaton because he is going head to
- 10:20Speaker 1: head with Senator Warren. Listen it.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Why say such stupid things? People will see, people will
- 10:27Speaker 6: clip those statements and just post about them and debunk them.
- 10:31Speaker 6: She's harming herself. I think her image's diminishing in people's eyes.
- 10:34Speaker 6: Why would a smart woman like be doing this? Is
- 10:36Speaker 6: there any pressure? Outside? Pressure is a strategy? I'm not seeing.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Well.
- 10:39Speaker 7: She is a smart woman, and she knows that she's
- 10:42Speaker 7: not telling the truth. She knows that bitcoin is not
- 10:47Speaker 7: used for the purposes that she's saying it is to
- 10:50Speaker 7: the extent that she is. If you remember when she
- 10:52Speaker 7: announced her reelection for a third term, she actually brought
- 10:56Speaker 7: up crypto. Right. She didn't bring up illegal immigration, she
- 10:59Speaker 7: didn't bring up debt crisis, she didn't bring up opioate addiction.
- 11:02Speaker 7: She brought up crypto. I'm building an anti crypto army.
- 11:05Speaker 7: And I literally was scratching my head. I hadn't gotten
- 11:08Speaker 7: in the race, and I'm like, why why is she?
- 11:10Speaker 7: Folcus on that could not figure it out until she
- 11:12Speaker 7: went on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd and said
- 11:16Speaker 7: the following.
- 11:18Speaker 2: But in that case, let's do a central bank digital currency.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Are you there, oh, for a central bank digital currency?
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yes?
- 11:24Speaker 2: I think it's time.
- 11:26Speaker 7: And then the light went Officer Ah. Now Georgia Orwell
- 11:29Speaker 7: is spinning in his grave. The first day I announced,
- 11:33Speaker 7: she started tweeting about me. She's been sending multiple emails
- 11:36Speaker 7: about me. She uttered, my name, we'll Saint Patrick's Day,
- 11:39Speaker 7: making a joke about my book.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So here is my national political joke. This is what's
- 11:45Speaker 2: great though about Saint Patrick's Day is how everyone celebrates it,
- 11:50Speaker 2: whether you're Boston's own Nick Collins or Rhode Island zone
- 11:55Speaker 2: John Deaton.
- 11:58Speaker 7: Why did Elizabeth Warren call me an extreme mag of
- 12:04Speaker 7: Republican who has been recruited to run against her? So
- 12:09Speaker 7: she said, yes, that's a direct quote. So I believe
- 12:13Speaker 7: she sat down on her team intentionally trying to fuel people,
- 12:18Speaker 7: misleading them lying about me. Right, my daughter, my ex wife,
- 12:24Speaker 7: just threw a fundraiser for me. She's a Biden supporter.
- 12:27Speaker 7: They called me upset. My daughter Jordan, who's in a
- 12:31Speaker 7: room with us, They were upset, like, why is she
- 12:34Speaker 7: calling you an extremist? My god, you've been a Democrat,
- 12:37Speaker 7: an independent, and Republican. You're like the most non partisan
- 12:40Speaker 7: person ever did. And it's to answer your question, I'm
- 12:44Speaker 7: going to fuel people. I'm gonna lie about this guy
- 12:47Speaker 7: because he's a threat and I want to stay in park.
- 12:50Speaker 7: One of the first bills I'm going to write, Mario
- 12:52Speaker 7: is for term limits. You get twelve years to go
- 12:55Speaker 7: to Washington, d C. To be a senator. If you
- 12:57Speaker 7: can't help bring change in more than a decade, it
- 13:00Speaker 7: is time for you to leave and let someone else.
- 13:02Speaker 7: If term limits don't become law, then I will not
- 13:06Speaker 7: run for a third term.
- 13:09Speaker 1: All right, So full disclosure. John Deane's been on our
- 13:11Speaker 1: channel before many times. In fact, he was pretty much
- 13:15Speaker 1: a political analyst with us, not you know program, And
- 13:19Speaker 1: I think with John, the one thing you have to
- 13:21Speaker 1: understand is I do believe he is a guy for crypto.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So the good thing is is I don't know. You know,
- 13:28Speaker 1: with all politicians, I'm always questioning everything. So go check
- 13:32Speaker 1: it out. Just go over to John Deaton for Senate
- 13:33Speaker 1: right there. You guys can of course support him, you
- 13:36Speaker 1: can donate, you can add crypto to it, all sorts
- 13:39Speaker 1: of things over there and This is really the step
- 13:42Speaker 1: that everybody out there needs to take today, and that
- 13:45Speaker 1: is if you're not planning to vote, whether it's for
- 13:48Speaker 1: a Senate position or if it is for the president,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you guys got to do it. Everybody's got to get
- 13:54Speaker 1: out there and do it. I just say, get out
- 13:56Speaker 1: and vote what'chever candidate you like. But the point is
- 13:58Speaker 1: get out there and make your voice heard. Hopefully that
- 14:00Speaker 1: will help you guys out listen. If you're not part
- 14:02Speaker 1: of the Diamond Circle, make sure and get in on that.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It is our own private member group where you can
- 14:06Speaker 1: additional content. We do all sorts of stuff over there
- 14:09Speaker 1: that is not over here on the YouTube channel, including
- 14:12Speaker 1: we have a community much like a Reddit or a discord.
- 14:16Speaker 1: You guys can of course jump in talk with me.
- 14:18Speaker 1: We also have a private member group as well. Use
- 14:20Speaker 1: the link down below. It's very easy to join, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: of course, if you're not following me on X do that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: It's at Paul Baron. We'll catch you next time right
- 14:26Speaker 1: here on Techpath
