- 0:00Music.
- 0:12Or if you would feel more comfortable, you can just call me Doc. Fuck off, Doc.
- 0:20Carpet day! Huh? No!
- 0:21Music.
- 0:29You know, I use the term fuck my life a lot. And mainly when I'm working with Trevor.
- 0:37No offense, Trevor. And I'm taking?
- 0:40So we put out a christmas list those are the films we're doing and we will be
- 0:46doing the santa claus it will be our year-end one but right but rain man i will
- 0:53call him you might know him as trevor,
- 0:57says oh you say night daddy night too like what we do we did horror we don't
- 1:02need to do another one. We'll get to it next year.
- 1:07I want to do the Santa Claus. But you don't care and say it.
- 1:10No, I want to do the Santa Claus. It's brilliant. It's got Tim Allen and Santa Claus.
- 1:15Okay. No one's believing you at all. That's what happened.
- 1:20So I said, you want to do Saturday night, the other night too?
- 1:23Fine. But we're still doing the Santa Claus.
- 1:26So we're doing an extra one for you guys.
- 1:28And I told them, I go, our listeners we have a set list that's what we want
- 1:33to do and trevor fashion says fuck our listeners i don't give one rash ass what
- 1:39they want it's what i want and he starts crying.
- 1:46So to shut him up we have to do silent night deadly night too so this is on him,
- 1:54That's all I have now. And what a film it is too.
- 1:59You know, Saturday Night, Dead of the Night 2. It was directed by mainly an
- 2:03editor. Yes, he's edited with Cone Brothers.
- 2:07Let's not give him credit, okay? His name's Lee Harry. Doesn't really work. Never really did.
- 2:13Did odd sound projects and stuff as a gaffer and blah, blah, blah.
- 2:17But Trevor loves him. Because I'll tell you right now, and I don't know what
- 2:21Trevor's review of this film is going to be.
- 2:22Clearly you all know because we all know at
- 2:25this point in this podcast career is that
- 2:29we all know that Trevor's batshit crazy so not
- 2:34as crazy as Ricky that you know of but Lee Harry his claim to fame he did the
- 2:41title sequence the title sequence of that's right Street Fighter I read up on that.
- 2:50Yes. Yeah. Street Fighters.
- 2:53Was that a podcast in it? Yeah. One of your favorite fucking films.
- 2:57Rob Kek with Kylie Minogue and Jean-Claude cooked up the Azai Bolt.
- 3:04Alright. So let's just jump into this piece of shit. There's not much really
- 3:09to it. I think that's what the director said.
- 3:11Because, you know, they never had a script. There's no way they had a script.
- 3:15Because, and guys, I'm not making this up. And you'll have, we almost,
- 3:19you almost want to watch it to see if I'm lying to what I'm about to tell you.
- 3:23But I promise you, I am not.
- 3:26So, the film is just under 90 minutes. Just a real slash of cliche,
- 3:3290 minutes will take it, that's fine.
- 3:3538 minutes of it is actually all part one. No, look at the club show. It's not...
- 3:42It's literally Ricky telling us a story we already know. And it's all in flashbacks
- 3:48and we see the whole film again.
- 3:50Yeah. But it was like silent night, deadly night for dummies. Yeah. It's a clip show.
- 3:57It's an embarrassment to filmmaking and it's an embarrassment to any filmmaker
- 4:01who takes pride in anything they do.
- 4:04This guy doesn't. This guy was just hired, do what you can.
- 4:08But let's just jump into it. Here's the plot. All right.
- 4:11So we all know Billy was killed the last time we talked about this.
- 4:14Billy was killed after his rampage. He was killed at the orphanage where he
- 4:18was raised in front of Mother Superior and, of course, in front of his younger brother, Ricky.
- 4:24Well, it's years later, and this is where we're at. It's a Ricky story.
- 4:29Silent Night, Deadly Night, Part 2.
- 4:30We've got Ricky, Dr. Bloom, Jennifer, Mother Superior, Mr. and Mrs.
- 4:36Rosenberg, Chip, the detective, and the loan shark.
- 4:38Now, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 4:41whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We forgot about someone.
- 4:42The guy in the cinema. Oh, we're talking about him. I actually called him.
- 4:48I got him a name for him. I was going to save that.
- 4:50What name have you got for? Because that guy reminded me of you.
- 4:54That guy was Trevor. Best scene in the film. That's the biggest compliment I've
- 4:58had in a long time. Yeah, it's when he gets killed. It's the best scene.
- 5:04This movie is terrible. So the music is so bad.
- 5:08You know what the music reminded me of? The music reminded me of going to your
- 5:15four-year-old's first piano recital.
- 5:17You know what? But I would say that the score in this film is the least of its problems.
- 5:24I think there's a lot worse stuff going on.
- 5:27To be fair. Boy. All right. So Ricky is now a teen, and we're pretty much doing
- 5:32the whole, he's being interviewed by obviously a doctor of some sort.
- 5:38Well he's you know he's obviously in a shrink ward of some
- 5:40sort yeah even though like that yeah this guy
- 5:43has like killed multiple people he's unrestrained you
- 5:47know what i mean he's given free he's he's unrestrained and he has a lighter
- 5:54i know you know what i love i love i love the the the opening line whatever
- 6:01the the doctor sits down he's all very doctorly insensible and stuff and he's saying,
- 6:05and you can call me Doc or you can call me by my first name.
- 6:09And Ricky just, with this really ropey acting, just bounces in and goes, fuck off, Doc.
- 6:16It sets the tone straight away. No, I tell you what sets the tone.
- 6:21It's that fucking horrible music.
- 6:22And then the orderly, whoever comes in, or the nurse or the guard,
- 6:27whoever it was, and all he does is stare him down for like 20 minutes.
- 6:30We're watching this like this bad, it's almost like a bad spaghetti western
- 6:35showdown between this nurse and Ricky,
- 6:42And the staring contest, it's fucking laughable. Yeah.
- 6:45And then Ricky then with the completely bizarre acting, you know,
- 6:50says, I don't talk to anyone, doc.
- 6:53I don't tell anyone my story. But anyway, do you want to hear my story?
- 6:58It's terrible. This whole thing went on for seven minutes.
- 7:03And then we got this worst opening scene ever in film history.
- 7:07All right. So we get seven minutes of nothing.
- 7:10And then it goes, I'm going to tell you my story December 24th now,
- 7:15the next 30 minutes we'll skip all this, it's Silent Night Deadly Night and
- 7:20here's what I don't get this is my one big question,
- 7:25he keeps saying yeah, my parents were killed by this and blah blah blah and
- 7:31he's telling the whole story but he was a baby I know,
- 7:35I know this film takes place in a
- 7:38parallel universe were babies like
- 7:41have crystal clear memories of everything that's happened whenever there were
- 7:46babies it's nuts he even says it was night time and we just reached a turn off
- 7:52how the fuck do you know that but also he describes details of Billy's murder
- 7:58rampage which only Billy would have known,
- 8:02so yeah there's more of this to come illogical stuff that makes no sense whatsoever.
- 8:10Fuck me, this is terrible. It's a guy who's like... You know,
- 8:15technically the film, after you get rid of the whole expose, diddy dump. Yeah.
- 8:22Remember we made fun of little harmless little Friday 13th?
- 8:26Friday 13th would give us the whole film that we just saw previously on Friday
- 8:3013th, and they give us like a two-minute montage.
- 8:32We complained about that for a second. Wow, these guys really...
- 8:36It's literally half the film. And also, due to so much footage from the first
- 8:40film being used to extend the end credits, they credit the entire cast of the first film.
- 8:49And the end credits actually last for 10 minutes.
- 8:52So if you add the 10 minutes onto the 38 minutes of clips, more than half of
- 8:57this film is not the film.
- 9:01Yeah. 40 minutes is what we get of a new film. and so technically it's a short
- 9:08film yeah exactly yeah yeah.
- 9:12Yeah. Oh, my God. Yep. But then we'll find out Billy's tragic story, you know, the tragedy.
- 9:18Not Billy, sorry, Ricky, the brother. You know, we'll find out his,
- 9:22you know, his doomed love of Jennifer. Yeah.
- 9:27So the orphanage closes, obviously,
- 9:30for obvious reasons, and he gets adopted by the Rosenbergs. Yes.
- 9:34And there's a scene where they don't really know what's wrong with him.
- 9:38He's just kind of quiet. But then he sees these nuns coming in slow motion.
- 9:43And they're two most evil looking creatures ever.
- 9:48I mean. Yeah. And then the nuns come out of a, they leave and they come out
- 9:54of a store and the mom keeps missing him. What's your problem?
- 9:57What's your problem, Ricky?
- 9:58And then he sees the color red fabric in this store. She goes,
- 10:04oh my God, it's the red fabric.
- 10:07Yeah. i have more but i was more distracted
- 10:10by the fact that the younger versions of ricky look
- 10:13absolutely nothing like him you know we'll
- 10:17have yeah and there's other stuff here you know like where he says
- 10:20that so mr rosenberg you know his stepdad died five years later so this should
- 10:25have been teenage billy that we'll meet later on at standing at the graveside
- 10:28instead we've got like 12 year old billy or not billy exactly the names mixed
- 10:32up ricky you know so i'm getting it almost as mixed up as the filmmakers did. You know, so.
- 10:38Yeah, I love the scene where, so after the kid has the flashbacks,
- 10:42after seeing the fucking red fabric and the nun, they bring him to like a shrink. Yeah.
- 10:47And the guy, the father, the adoptive father goes, Mr.
- 10:51Rosenberg goes, oh my God, we got to be there for him. Yeah.
- 10:56And then the next scene, well, stepdad is dead now.
- 11:00Wow. But instead of, but instead of teenage, ricky being at the gravestone it's
- 11:0612 year old ricky who has time traveled for some reason that doesn't make any sense.
- 11:12Well, it's the same thing with fucking Saturday Night, Deadly Night.
- 11:16He was 16-year-old, I think he was, and he was built like Dolph Lundgren.
- 11:20Well, yeah, I mean, that's a sort of bit of a trope for these types of films
- 11:23anyway, that basically teenagers are played by... Oh, okay, okay.
- 11:26You're backing that up. That's okay. Our teenagers are played by 40-year-olds,
- 11:31I would say as well. Steroids. Yeah.
- 11:34See the guy who plays the younger version of Ricky, you know,
- 11:38the teenage Ricky, the one who starts killing.
- 11:40In reality, he was actually older, Then the guy who plays, I don't believe, or I don't, you know?
- 11:50Who cares? Yeah. Who fucking cares? So when he tells the doctor,
- 11:54I'm going to tell you something I never told anyone before. He's like, let it out. Yeah.
- 11:59So when, after his stepfather died, Ricky's going for a walk,
- 12:03you know, with his thoughts and he's carrying a stick as you do.
- 12:06And he sees these picknickers and he
- 12:10and the guy's getting really frisky yeah you know she was watch your shirt's
- 12:15getting dirty when you need a new shirt yeah why because i see something i like
- 12:20and then she's like huh you're such a pig and he's like yeah and he gobbles
- 12:25his beer i was like, Jesus. That's what you love about me.
- 12:31So he starts getting, you know, hands on him and he starts having flashbacks.
- 12:38Ricky's having flashbacks of something he's never witnessed.
- 12:41Because he was a baby. There is no way he could have. Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 12:46And he's like, naughty.
- 12:49And he runs him over like 12 times with a jeep. But you don't see it.
- 12:53There's actually two before. There's actually a couple of pretty good deaths in this.
- 12:56But some of the other ones, obviously, for budgetary reasons or whatever reasons,
- 13:00they all happen off screen.
- 13:03So like whenever he's running over carpet or something instead of that guy, you know. I love.
- 13:09Well, that's in first kill, basically. I love when he goes, he's going to kind
- 13:15of rape this woman. Yeah.
- 13:17He goes to his, I'll be back. I'm going to give you the beer.
- 13:20Yeah. Well, she could have got up and left. She could have run away. But instead.
- 13:24No, she doesn't. No, she could have. Yeah, she could have, but this is what she does instead.
- 13:29So Ricky runs him over with the Jeep, a red Jeep, by the way.
- 13:35She then walks over to him. There's his dead body. She looks at Ricky and goes, thank you.
- 13:42Yeah but you know what see to go
- 13:46back to the first film when billy you
- 13:49know kills rapey guy in the toy store the girl
- 13:52who he basically saves he turns around
- 13:55and she has a normal reaction in that she goes
- 13:58what have you done you sick psycho but here just showing you the difference
- 14:02because i like i'm a big fan of the first one here he she turns around and goes
- 14:07thank you you know so just it's almost like a perfect example of the difference
- 14:13between these two films you know yeah,
- 14:17and then he kills the loan shark,
- 14:20he's only he's only,
- 14:23he's only killing people that are hurting others that's the difference he's
- 14:27not just randomly killing spree so he's killing the loan shark guy with the
- 14:32umbrella fucking stupid,
- 14:35fucking terrible I quite like that because it is over the top silly I mean,
- 14:40it's completely impractical. It would never happen in real life.
- 14:42But I particularly like whenever they have a poignant moment,
- 14:46whenever after it, you see your man land, they're dead, and there's an umbrella
- 14:50drenched in blood, and then all of a sudden, it starts raining on it.
- 14:54But if you look closely, the rain is only happening in that one spot.
- 14:59Obviously, it's fake rain. I saw that. Or the umbrella.
- 15:03The cardboard boxes are nice and dry right next to it. Everything is apart from
- 15:07the tiny rain cloud that is just putting rain on the umbrella.
- 15:13And now we meet Jennifer, the love interest. I have to admit,
- 15:17this love scene is so fucking laughable. Yeah.
- 15:19And I love the line where he goes, that was my first, and I thought it was hers.
- 15:26Doom love story. Yeah.
- 15:30Because little did we know, well, we'll soon find out that she has been sleeping with Chip.
- 15:36The badass Chip. The stud that is Chip. But before that, we'll get asshole in the cinema.
- 15:42Then we got Trevor in the cinema who wouldn't stop talking during the movie
- 15:47and what theater is this by the way the lights are on, there's like four seats,
- 15:52and I love how he attacks them,
- 15:55like he's got his buddy next to him, he's going back and forth he turns his
- 15:58head and now he's there where'd his buddy go, what is he a fucking ninja people
- 16:02sort of magically disappear and reappear here, you know what I mean and he kills
- 16:07him you don't see anything which is stupid,
- 16:10and he kills him and nobody hears this yeah
- 16:13yeah but then chip comes over and has a conversation with jennifer
- 16:16says you miss me and all i'm the best you've had and stuff
- 16:19yeah but then chip's girlfriend doesn't really seem to notice
- 16:22that well she eventually she notices that chip's talking to jennifer you know
- 16:25but well it's got you know i will say this it's got some pretty good writing
- 16:29um there's a great line where the guys in the back of the cinema call him a
- 16:34faggot that's right and the girl goes I know that's not true,
- 16:40see that's powerful that's pretty good that's something you'd get from a Scorsese
- 16:46film well it's Tarantino-esque sort of quirky dialogue you know.
- 16:50And then all of a sudden when she's talking to Chip like you said talking about
- 16:53the ninja stuff all of a sudden without them knowing that he was right beside
- 16:57them Ricky's there with his face right in them you know what I mean.
- 17:04What's this movie about it's about a man dressed up as kill a
- 17:07santa and killing people oh this is my type of film yeah
- 17:10yeah and also when it before the film starts she
- 17:14jennifer turns around and goes you know they have a
- 17:17trailer for some other film that's called chaos or something she's going do
- 17:20you like this sort of stuff that's awful you know she's pretending to be all
- 17:24girly next thing says oh this film is about somebody who goes on a killing rampage
- 17:28at christmas i love these types of things so it's like a complete character
- 17:32shift within seconds and also the film they're watching is Silent Night,
- 17:36Deadly Night 1 makes no sense,
- 17:39yeah and it doesn't make any sense because that's his trigger,
- 17:42Red's his trigger or Santa and Red and whatever,
- 17:46and then here's what I don't get after the theatre scene a couple days later,
- 17:50what happened to an investigation with the dead bodies in the theatre I mean,
- 17:54these are the worst police ever or maybe it's just a complete plot convenience you know,
- 18:00yep nobody investigated not unless you know that guy was known as being a bit
- 18:04of an asshole so people were glad he was bumped off you know the guy in the cinema,
- 18:09yeah also it's obviously all during the summer sorry film during the summer
- 18:14because it's only really the last 10-15 minutes is actually set at Christmas oh gives a fuck.
- 18:22There's Lee we're about to talk about the killing spree and this film is almost
- 18:26over so So, yeah, so they're walking in broad daylight and they run into Chip.
- 18:32Yep. He's being a dick. And so as you do, you're deaf by high voltage.
- 18:37Even though. Which I actually did like to death. I thought it was all right.
- 18:40But Ricky should have been electrocuted as well.
- 18:43You know what I mean? He's basically a superhero at this point.
- 18:46No, why would he be electrocuted? Because he's got his hand on him while he's doing the thing.
- 18:50He's in direct contact with him while he's electrocuting him.
- 18:53But he's got, no, he wouldn't be.
- 18:57Because he's got the handles that have the rubber. Well, I'm no scientist.
- 19:01You know, I'm no position. But I don't know. There's a bit of sort of. Well, clearly.
- 19:05They're playing loose and fast. Well, what about a few seconds later when he
- 19:09shoots a car? He shoots again a car and the car blows up.
- 19:13How does that happen? That's the best one.
- 19:15What about the cop? The cop walks right up to him with a gun.
- 19:18You usually put, turn around, put your hands on your head. That's the two things
- 19:23they're going to ask you to do if they're going to cuff you. Mm-hmm.
- 19:26You don't walk up with a gun in their face. Yep. But he shoots them in the head.
- 19:31But then he shoots the two neighbors, the poor guy, Garbage King.
- 19:36Well, that's the iconic scene, of course. Garbage day.
- 19:41So stupid. Yep. And then he shoots three bullets into the car and then it explodes.
- 19:47Yeah. He shoots someone in a car and the car explodes. That was the budget.
- 19:52Yeah. Oh, yeah. That was all there. Yeah.
- 19:55And then he puts a gun to his head and does his evil laugh you know what I mean
- 19:58and the cops horrendous acting by the cops and it's all don't do it don't do
- 20:02it it's not worth it you know and then he goes there's a powerful moment,
- 20:08when he bumps into the wee girl and she's wearing red,
- 20:12and he goes oh I'm sorry I missed her when she hits him with the bike he goes
- 20:16that's okay and he smiles at her this is a call back to the first one where
- 20:22Billy spurs the child who's being babysat, you know,
- 20:25by the two dipshits who one of them he puts on,
- 20:28you know, the antlers, you know, the naked chick.
- 20:31He sort of impales her on the antlers.
- 20:34Well, but Billy Spurs is a child in this scene, so it's a callback to that,
- 20:36but it's like Ricky's last remnant of humanity.
- 20:40But I did laugh whenever he's talking about how, you know, whenever he goes
- 20:44to blow his own brains out at this point and there's no more bullets left,
- 20:47he goes, I was young and stupid.
- 20:51You know though i'm gonna give it a pass on that one why continuity well he
- 20:58wouldn't have been he was using a six shooter he he was using a six shooter
- 21:01and he see fire six times far enough yeah yeah to its credit there you go yeah
- 21:07there you go silent night deadly night two gets a pass,
- 21:12continuity and then the twist did you see the twist coming of course not he killed the doctor.
- 21:20Again another off-screen death to
- 21:23save on the budget presumably you know yeah but all you see no because they
- 21:27did that they they wanted we wanted to go what well it works in both ways no
- 21:31way yeah they're like i'm like a 38 minute film and a twist and continuity and
- 21:38all we see is like the the reams of tape wrapped around and stuff.
- 21:42The only thing we don't see is escape either, which is, again,
- 21:45some things are better left unseen.
- 21:48Yeah, you just hear the screams. You hear the screams and stuff.
- 21:52It's the most sort of low-security facility for a serial killer ever. You know?
- 22:01Then we got the showdown. That's right. Sister Mother Superior is back.
- 22:06Yep. Different actress.
- 22:08Why is your face all burned well it said she took a stroke but as far as i know,
- 22:13strokes didn't strokes don't turn you into a fucking demon but but they are
- 22:18trying to sort of um sort of set her up as the sort of you know the big bad
- 22:21guy overall because if you notice her her the number of her house i mean it's
- 22:27not exactly his whole you know six six six.
- 22:33Yeah I don't know, I was trying to think back because it didn't show it in the
- 22:37clip show was there a part in the original, I can't remember it's been a couple
- 22:41of years, where she was burnt in some way by Billy,
- 22:45no, that's what I don't get I thought Stroke would your face might drool a bit
- 22:50yeah, turns you into Pazuzu in this world but this is also the same world where
- 22:54babies can remember an intricate detail whenever they're adult shit that happened,
- 23:00And if you have a minor stroke, you turn into a toxic avenger. Exactly.
- 23:05Yeah. Yeah. There you go. I will say the death of Mother Superior is actually
- 23:11good whenever, you know, the other nun comes in. It's terrible.
- 23:14With the head. Oh, come on. It's cheesy fun. Yes, it's. Oh, my God. It's terrible.
- 23:19Yeah. So after the big chase sequence between the crippled nun and Ricky, very intense.
- 23:25By the way, how many wheelchairs does this nun own?
- 23:28Because. Well, she knows. That's how it works. You'll have one on the top of
- 23:32stairs and then she'll try to get in the elevator stairs, and then there'll
- 23:37be a chair waiting for her in the bottom. Okay, fair enough.
- 23:38Well, that's my mistake. Fair enough.
- 23:41Continuity again. Wow. Look at this film. It's full of continuity. Check out all the boxes.
- 23:47Yeah, because you've got the nun and the cops show up, right? Worst cops ever.
- 23:52And there's the nun sitting there in her nunish outfit, right?
- 23:58Not a drop of blood anyway.
- 24:01Mm-hmm. And you find out she's been beheaded. Yep.
- 24:06So where's the blood? Well, Ricky's that good, you know what I mean?
- 24:09He can sort of do it so clinically, you know, the blood will... In a half a second.
- 24:13Yeah, that's how good Ricky boy is, you know.
- 24:17And not only that, after he gets shot, he's not really dead.
- 24:23Oh, he smiles at the end. Yeah, he like jumps up. I love it.
- 24:26He comes back, sure, in the third one.
- 24:29I don't know if there's a third one. Oh, there is, isn't there?
- 24:32But it's a different actor. It's a guy, what do you call him from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2?
- 24:37Oh, his name escapes me at the moment. What do you call him?
- 24:40He's a well-known actor. Have you met him at one of those conventions? I think.
- 24:44Bill Moseley? Yes, Bill Moseley plays him. Yes.
- 24:47In the third one. Oh, my God. We'll have to check that one out.
- 24:51And then the series takes a completely different sort of direction,
- 24:54which becomes about witches and evil toy makers played by Mickey Rooney.
- 24:59I actually remember liking the one with the toy maker. That's the Mickey Rooney one.
- 25:03Yeah, but it's not really a
- 25:05Silent Night. They just decided to put the label on there a Silent Night.
- 25:08They were produced, the fourth and the fifth were produced by,
- 25:10one of them was directed by Brian Yosna, you know the special effects guy.
- 25:14Yeah. Directed. That's probably the robot one which actually has I can't remember.
- 25:18I got a question again. Clint Howard as well is in them.
- 25:22Oh wow. You put a boy Clinton there. Well, he's in everything, you know.
- 25:28Yeah this is this is just i'll never watch this
- 25:31again i have to say i have to say in its defense and its
- 25:34defense i would have to say that you know whenever you
- 25:36you watch any film or any form of entertainment you
- 25:40ask yourself after was i entertained and i
- 25:43have to say yes i was i always i'm always entertained by this so it gets a pass
- 25:50and for that i will give this a pass maybe it's entertaining for all the wrong
- 25:55reasons and different reasons that they actually set out and unintended to do, but yep,
- 26:00I will 100% give this a pass. No problem. Yeah, yeah.
- 26:04I will never, because there's a difference between knowing what a film is trying
- 26:09to do or at least trying to do something different or, you know,
- 26:13and it might not work, but you'll give it a pass because, you know,
- 26:16you appreciate the effort they put into it.
- 26:17You can appreciate what the actors tried to do and it just didn't work,
- 26:21but yeah, you know, at least they tried something different.
- 26:24That's to me giving you a pass this is a cheat this movie's it's not even a
- 26:30film it's a short film and it's terrible and the same thing when we talk about
- 26:36stop over my mama shoot or tell me a lot the the jump's up it's completely disrespect
- 26:41to steven king's original work.
- 26:44And but you see something through the shit that i don't i make fun of it talking
- 26:49about it yeah and it sounds like because we're having a good laugh at its expense
- 26:53that makes it a good movie guys it doesn't it's terrible it's the reason why
- 26:57it's got the reviews it has.
- 26:59Don't watch this. I promise you. Watch something.
- 27:04Watch Black Christmas, for Christ's sake. Well, that's a classic.
- 27:07At least, I mean, I gave Silent Night a pass.
- 27:10And the reason I did was, A, because of the violence. Gore was fucking brilliant.
- 27:13Yep, this is a brilliant film. And it definitely didn't sell out.
- 27:16And I thought the story was actually quite dark with the kid dealing with post-traumatic
- 27:20stress. Yep. It's a really good film.
- 27:22Yeah, it's got some... No, it's not... You really got a really good film,
- 27:28really? For the type of film it is, yes.
- 27:31So, at least there was a serious tone to it with a wink at the audience.
- 27:37This is about a fucking baby dealing with PTSD.
- 27:42The fuck name? And that makes me laugh.
- 27:46Absolutely. The central performance by the guy Eric something,
- 27:49who plays Ricky, is, yeah, this is it's I was laughing the whole way through. Yep.
- 27:58It was in there we don't we're not gonna we're not gonna agree on it so it's
- 28:02it's naughty punish it's not it's not it's it's bad i'm not gonna do that all right,
- 28:11we're just gonna wrap this one up because oh all right 38 seconds okay so this,
