- 0:02Speaker 1: The dogs out.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Now, my wife and I can't be the only people
- 0:08Speaker 2: who do this, for it's inspecific our dog. But I
- 0:13Speaker 2: guess if the cats wanted to enjoy it too, they're
- 0:15Speaker 2: more than welcome. You know, when we have to leave
- 0:18Speaker 2: the house, when my wife goes to work, or when
- 0:20Speaker 2: we have to when we both go like unhinged for
- 0:23Speaker 2: a couple hours. Yeah, nine times out of ten, we
- 0:25Speaker 2: will turn on the TV for Wanona, our dog, and
- 0:29Speaker 2: we will put on like a nature walk or something,
- 0:34Speaker 2: or we'll type in like dog TV and it'll be
- 0:37Speaker 2: these dogs frolicking at a beach. It looks like just
- 0:39Speaker 2: a l it looks like a lovely time, or they're
- 0:42Speaker 2: playing at the park or something. We can't be the
- 0:46Speaker 2: only pet owners who do this.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yeah I don't because I don't have pets.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I've never even thought about this, but yeah, that would
- 0:52Speaker 4: be boring if you just left your dog and they
- 0:54Speaker 4: didn't have anything.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I wonder if there's anyone who leaves
- 0:57Speaker 2: like Big ninety eight point seven on TV for their
- 1:00Speaker 2: or on the radio.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Excuse me, Oh yeah, that cool, just.
- 1:03Speaker 2: To give them something to hear or listen to or whatever.
- 1:07Speaker 2: H seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Do you leave some type of TV or radio or
- 1:14Speaker 2: whatever on for your dog when they have to be
- 1:18Speaker 2: home alone for you know a little bit? Let us
- 1:20Speaker 2: know here this morning. I don't think Corey and I
- 1:22Speaker 2: are the only I don't think we're like unique.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Right, you know if anything like?
- 1:26Speaker 4: What do you leave on your uh for your dog?
- 1:28Speaker 4: We have someone calling right now?
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, it's a big ninety eight point seven.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Who's this? Hello?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Hey Dad, it's one no.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Na, oh, good morning, NONI. How you doing today? I've
- 1:43Speaker 1: got a bone to pick with you?
- 1:45Speaker 3: No pun intended?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Oh well well no, no, what's wrong?
- 1:50Speaker 3: We gotta talk about what you put on the TV
- 1:52Speaker 3: when you leave.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I don't like it. You're not liking the nature walks.
- 1:57Speaker 3: No, I'm bold, I'm bored. I don't like it.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I can only watch the same dea gallop across the
- 2:05Speaker 4: trail so many times. Dad, when we go to the
- 2:09Speaker 4: dog park, I got nothing to talk about with the
- 2:12Speaker 4: other dogs. Okay, I don't like it. I need something
- 2:15Speaker 4: else to watch.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean what would you want to watch instead?
- 2:20Speaker 3: I want to watch heated rivalry? Okay?
- 2:23Speaker 4: At the dog park that are always talking about going
- 2:26Speaker 4: to the cottage. I don't know what the cottage is,
- 2:29Speaker 4: but I would if I watched Heated Rivalry. I want
- 2:33Speaker 4: to watch Bridgeton. I know there's a new season now.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I want to watch Love Is Blind and find out
- 2:40Speaker 4: if these men are really dougs.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Oh well, you know what, when Ona, I could talk
- 2:45Speaker 2: to your mom and we'll see about maybe getting something
- 2:47Speaker 2: else on the TV for you going forward. I didn't
- 2:50Speaker 2: know you weren't into that, so well, I'll try to
- 2:52Speaker 2: be better moving forward.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I appreciate that, Dad r.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Angie.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I think I just found out that my dogue onas
- 3:01Speaker 2: a fifty year old New York lady.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Big ninety eight celebrating life's little victories every morning we
- 3:12Speaker 5: practice gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:14Speaker 4: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:16Speaker 4: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:23Speaker 5: two and oho one ninety eight.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Seven, kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And a big shout out to Tia this morning. Her
- 3:30Speaker 2: little victory today was this was just a super long
- 3:33Speaker 2: work week for she couldn't be more happy. It's Friday
- 3:36Speaker 2: and there's a Margarita in her near future. So alright,
- 3:39Speaker 2: a go te I. Congratulations, Hey you made it. If
- 3:42Speaker 2: you had a long work week, we have made it
- 3:45Speaker 2: to Friday. We'll get through this day together and then
- 3:47Speaker 2: we are diving headfirst into the weekend.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Amen.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Do you have a little victory today, Angie?
- 3:52Speaker 3: I do, and I'm so excited about it. Today.
- 3:56Speaker 4: On February twenty seventh, twenty twenty six, Marx the one
- 4:02Speaker 4: year anniversary of me moving to Fargo.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Wow, all right, one year of being a Fargo or
- 4:12Speaker 2: FM area in general native.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I yes.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I think what you'll have to do is there's this
- 4:17Speaker 2: secret meeting when someone lives in the Midwest for a
- 4:21Speaker 2: year that we give you almost like an Olympic medal
- 4:24Speaker 2: for making it through.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yes, I love it.
- 4:27Speaker 2: You might have to you might have to stop by
- 4:29Speaker 2: this meeting or something and we'll get you your your ribbon.
- 4:31Speaker 3: This is so exciting. I really I love living here.
- 4:36Speaker 4: And when I moved away from I was in Seattle
- 4:39Speaker 4: before this, and when I was moving here, everyone couldn't
- 4:42Speaker 4: help it say, but it's so cold, the snow, and
- 4:47Speaker 4: what will you do?
- 4:48Speaker 1: How will you make it? Yeah?
- 4:50Speaker 4: I survived, obviously, and I know that it do be
- 4:53Speaker 4: getting cold here, obviously, but it's not like I'm expected
- 4:56Speaker 4: to just stand out in the elements extended period of time,
- 5:02Speaker 4: like it's fine.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's shocking. We have homes, yea, indoor indoors.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Exist, leeters exist. But it's been a really great time.
- 5:11Speaker 4: The kids were going to celebrate this weekend that we've
- 5:15Speaker 4: been here for. Truthfully, my kids got here like a
- 5:19Speaker 4: week or so later. I got here first to set
- 5:21Speaker 4: things up. Yeah, but we're gonna celebrate.
- 5:25Speaker 3: It's really exciting.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I think the summers here are absolutely gorgeous. I don't
- 5:30Speaker 4: even care that there's mosquitos, Like that doesn't bother me. Sure,
- 5:34Speaker 4: because I was so sick of rain in Seattle. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 4: I can't no no more.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And everywhere you go, every place has their thing, you know, yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 2: everywhere you go.
- 5:43Speaker 4: But I love that Also here it's like the perfect
- 5:47Speaker 4: mix to me, the perfect mix of big city vibes
- 5:50Speaker 4: and small town vibes in one thing.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yeah. It's kind of the perfect size.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and there's always so much to do.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I'm a fan, so let me not get fired because
- 6:01Speaker 4: I'm trying to be here for.
- 6:02Speaker 3: The long run.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Congratulations to Angie a one year officially, I think in
- 6:09Speaker 2: your life resume you can say midwesterner.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I think we're gonna celebrate with some Tajandi.
- 6:14Speaker 4: And that was the first place I went to have
- 6:17Speaker 4: food when we moved here, So it's gonna be a
- 6:20Speaker 4: cell love brashit.
- 6:21Speaker 2: That's right. Two big things today for little victories. Angie
- 6:24Speaker 2: is now a one year midwestern liver. Yeah, and that's right.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And later on this afternoon I will find out am
- 6:32Speaker 2: I girl dad or boy dad today? So kind of
- 6:35Speaker 2: the perfect double whammy here, two very big moments in
- 6:39Speaker 2: Angi in my life. And then on Monday I will
- 6:42Speaker 2: be very excited to share with you what little baby
- 6:47Speaker 2: g is. Now there might be a special guest in
- 6:49Speaker 2: here on Monday. I can't confirm or deny this, so
- 6:53Speaker 2: that is just throwing it up. I'm just leaving that
- 6:55Speaker 2: out there, Okay, So there might be something pretty fun
- 6:57Speaker 2: on Monday with a special guest who we rarely to
- 7:00Speaker 2: never hear.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Ninety eight point seven.
- 7:09Speaker 3: This is so exciting.
- 7:10Speaker 4: So today after the show, at some point, Yep, you
- 7:14Speaker 4: and your lovely wife Corey are headed to a doctor's
- 7:17Speaker 4: appointment to find out if baby g is going to
- 7:21Speaker 4: be a girl or a boy. I want you to
- 7:23Speaker 4: know that I have already gone around this entire office
- 7:27Speaker 4: and gotten predictions from almost everybody that we work with, Okay, whether.
- 7:32Speaker 3: You are going to be a girl dad or a
- 7:34Speaker 3: boy dad.
- 7:35Speaker 4: So I'm gonna put that video together and I'm going
- 7:38Speaker 4: to post it on the big ninety eight points on
- 7:39Speaker 4: Facebook page.
- 7:40Speaker 2: But I'm I'm having forward to seeing that. I'm curious
- 7:43Speaker 2: to what people think.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm kind of shocked. I'll give my prediction.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I think that you're going to be a girl dad, Okay,
- 7:49Speaker 4: And I really feel like, for some reason, I thought
- 7:52Speaker 4: that was going to be the consensus in the building,
- 7:54Speaker 4: and it's actually pretty split.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So that'd be interesting. What do you think?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Do you think Gabe is going to have a boy
- 8:01Speaker 4: or a girl? Seven to one, two and one nine
- 8:03Speaker 4: eighty seven. You can give us your predictions, but the
- 8:06Speaker 4: thing is you're not going to actually tell us until Monday.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Correct.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You will not find out until next week, and there will.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Be no cheating.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Like earlier this week, we talked about how Nick Viiel
- 8:19Speaker 4: and his wife are expecting twin girls, and they posted
- 8:22Speaker 4: a gender reveal and he looked kind of like he
- 8:24Speaker 4: didn't care or like he was disappointed, and they admitted
- 8:27Speaker 4: that they were acting and that he already knew right. Uh,
- 8:31Speaker 4: not going to be the case here at the Big nineteen.
- 8:33Speaker 1: No, No, I know.
- 8:36Speaker 4: So I'm really bummed because I want to know before
- 8:39Speaker 4: everybody else I do.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I'm excited for all of us.
- 8:43Speaker 4: To find out together. Yeah, when you do this reveal.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I'm looking forward to that on Monday, and
- 8:50Speaker 2: we will have I have a little fun game that
- 8:53Speaker 2: I want to do with you. What do you think
- 8:56Speaker 2: baby G is going to be? If you are hanging
- 8:59Speaker 2: out with us on a regular basis here on Big
- 9:01Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven, or this is the first time
- 9:03Speaker 2: you've ever heard Angie or I speak? Okay, what type
- 9:06Speaker 2: of vibe do you think we give off here on
- 9:09Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven. What type of vibe do
- 9:11Speaker 2: I give off? Do I got boy dad energy or
- 9:14Speaker 2: girl dad energy? Do you think Baby G is going
- 9:18Speaker 2: to be a boy or a girl? Okay, that's all
- 9:22Speaker 2: we're asking. It is a very simple game. And then
- 9:25Speaker 2: I haven't even told Angie this. We will pick one
- 9:28Speaker 2: person and now don't freak out. Okay, this isn't that
- 9:30Speaker 2: big of a deal. But we will pick one person
- 9:33Speaker 2: and I will venmo them five dollars of my own money.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Okay, so well whin are Yeah?
- 9:38Speaker 4: Okay, so we'll post this on the big ninety eight
- 9:40Speaker 4: point seven page. You let us know if you think
- 9:43Speaker 4: it's going to be a boy or a girl just
- 9:45Speaker 4: after after the reveal.
- 9:47Speaker 3: If you are in.
- 9:49Speaker 4: The winner's circle right of people who guessed correctly, then
- 9:54Speaker 4: randomly we'll use the random name generator.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll just pick and then picks someone. So win
- 9:59Speaker 3: five of your dollars, five of my dollars.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I was thinking of going ten, but see I'm gonna
- 10:04Speaker 2: have a kid now I got to get a college fund.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Two digits was too big, all right, So five digits
- 10:09Speaker 2: or five dollars six of five digits, five dollars of
- 10:12Speaker 2: my money could go to you.
- 10:13Speaker 4: I want to say that we are such an unseerious duo.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Love is Blind.
- 10:23Speaker 4: See, Gabe, I know that you don't personally watch Love
- 10:26Speaker 4: is Blind.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I'm more watch like as I scroll my phone and
- 10:30Speaker 2: my wife has it on, it's like background.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Noise for me.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Well, I watch and I pay attention, and I'm very obsessed,
- 10:38Speaker 4: even though I think the premise of this show is
- 10:41Speaker 4: a bit ridiculous after it has not yielded the best results.
- 10:44Speaker 3: If you don't know what.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Love is blinded? Shocky, you don't know what love is blind?
- 10:47Speaker 4: And it's Sewan Netflix, and it's a group of guys,
- 10:51Speaker 4: a group of girls be going what's called the Pods,
- 10:54Speaker 4: and they try to see if they can fall in
- 10:56Speaker 4: love with each other and get engaged without ever seeing
- 11:00Speaker 4: each other in real life yet, So there's like a
- 11:03Speaker 4: wall between them and they, you know, we.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Talk about everything. I think, I'm in love with you?
- 11:07Speaker 3: Will you marry me?
- 11:09Speaker 4: And then they get engaged and they see each other
- 11:11Speaker 4: for the first time, and then that's where you have
- 11:15Speaker 4: to answer the question is love blind?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Can I ask a question?
- 11:20Speaker 2: I've wondered this for years and years, all right, So
- 11:24Speaker 2: history has shown that these reality love TV shows don't
- 11:29Speaker 2: yield the best results. So can I ask if you
- 11:34Speaker 2: know how all of these sort of kind of end.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Aren't you just watching the same thing over and over
- 11:41Speaker 2: and over? What is the appeal?
- 11:43Speaker 4: Because sometimes there's the exception to the rule, and when
- 11:47Speaker 4: the exception happens, it feels like what a victory, you
- 11:53Speaker 4: know what I mean? Think about the Bachelorette. Trista Sutter
- 11:56Speaker 4: was the first bachelorette so a million years ago, and
- 12:00Speaker 4: she found her dude and they've been married ever since,
- 12:03Speaker 4: have kids, happily married.
- 12:05Speaker 3: That was the exception.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I don't know that any other bachelor is still what
- 12:09Speaker 4: the guys she found on there. So you watch for
- 12:11Speaker 4: the exceptions and to feel better about your own love
- 12:14Speaker 4: life when you see what these men are like. And
- 12:17Speaker 4: so I wanted to add, I'm gonna give you a
- 12:20Speaker 4: few scenarios and you tell me if you were the
- 12:23Speaker 4: lady in the scenario. Girl, Yes, these are all These
- 12:27Speaker 4: are engaged people scenarios. These couples are engaged. Okay, I'm
- 12:31Speaker 4: gonna give you the scenario, and you tell me if,
- 12:34Speaker 4: as the lady, you break off the engagement.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Okay, Oh, I'm gonna be so terrible. Okay, Okay.
- 12:40Speaker 4: He tells you that physically it just isn't there for him,
- 12:44Speaker 4: despite sleeping with you multiple times, and ads that he's
- 12:48Speaker 4: just used to girls who do pilates every day.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Do you know what is so sad?
- 12:52Speaker 2: This is like the ten seconds of this show that
- 12:55Speaker 2: I know it's stuck out.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Cat dude is crazy.
- 13:00Speaker 2: No, I don't even think i'd be you know what
- 13:03Speaker 2: I say, a lot if a dude, I'm like, oh yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 2: I could sit and like have a beer with that
- 13:07Speaker 2: guy for five minutes. That's a lot how I judge,
- 13:09Speaker 2: you know, dudes on TV or just random people like that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I would want to be nowhere near that guy. Okay, yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 2: he is a big no to me. What's his name? Uh, Chris, Yeah, Chris.
- 13:20Speaker 5: No.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I don't like that guy. He's just he's like just
- 13:22Speaker 1: too much for me.
- 13:23Speaker 3: He's ick personified.
- 13:25Speaker 2: In the ten seconds of this show, I've seen him, Like,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I don't like this guy.
- 13:28Speaker 4: All right, You've been intimate several times and then he
- 13:31Speaker 4: tells you that you're not his usual type at all.
- 13:35Speaker 4: He then tells a different woman who you're friendly with
- 13:38Speaker 4: that she.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Is his usual type. Do you break it off?
- 13:42Speaker 2: That was kind of hard to follow, but you gotta
- 13:45Speaker 2: break it off, right. He can't someone who's your friend
- 13:47Speaker 2: and this guy's into your friend. That's just a problem
- 13:50Speaker 2: for you and your friend. You don't need him. This
- 13:52Speaker 2: is a weird love triangle. Continue on with your bestie. Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 2: I like this. This was about a guy named Alex,
- 13:57Speaker 2: and this is probably the least of his crimes.
- 14:00Speaker 3: All right. Next, he never tells you you're pretty.
- 14:03Speaker 4: He's never volunteered a compliment about your appearance, appearance, despite
- 14:08Speaker 4: you communicating that it's something you need to feel as
- 14:10Speaker 4: though he's attracted to you, especially because your top love
- 14:14Speaker 4: language is physical touch and.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He doesn't do that either. You know what, you can
- 14:18Speaker 2: hang on to that guy. Okay, he's he maybe is
- 14:20Speaker 2: just shy. I'm sure he just doesn't know what he's doing.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Hang on to that guy. Keep giving him a jam.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Okay, all right, we'll see.
- 14:27Speaker 2: That is terrible advice. Leave him, all right, Obviously, leave
- 14:30Speaker 2: that guy. If there's something you're asking that you need
- 14:32Speaker 2: and he doesn't do it, you know, if it's if
- 14:35Speaker 2: it's within reason, you know, and he can't just find
- 14:37Speaker 2: someone else who will do it.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I like that final one.
- 14:41Speaker 4: He expresses that he's nervous about how he will be
- 14:44Speaker 4: in a stepfather role since he's not yet a father
- 14:47Speaker 4: himself and hasn't dated a woman with a child before.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Oh man, this one's like kind of real. That's just
- 14:53Speaker 2: a real conversation they have. So it's what's is what
- 14:55Speaker 2: is my prompt? Is this a red flyer?
- 14:57Speaker 3: If you're her do you break off the engage.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I think maybe you give him a chance.
- 15:02Speaker 3: That's what I think.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I mean, if you gave him a chance.
- 15:04Speaker 2: If he can kind of learn to grow into that
- 15:06Speaker 2: role or appreciate it or enjoy it even you know,
- 15:09Speaker 2: I think that's not an immediate red flag that a
- 15:11Speaker 2: guy who might be just afraid of being a stepfather.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Plot twist, Gabe, this was me just seeing if you
- 15:16Speaker 4: would be good on Love is Blind?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Did you pass?
- 15:24Speaker 4: This? Is?
- 15:25Speaker 6: Am?
- 15:25Speaker 5: I the problem?
- 15:26Speaker 3: It's me, Hi, the problem is me.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We'll hear one side of the story and with your.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Help decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 15:39Speaker 3: That's right, I am the problem.
- 15:41Speaker 1: On Big ninety eight point seven, Chet.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Wrote into us he chose a date over his family.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Hey guys, it's chat.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Am I a bad guy for wanting to miss my
- 15:55Speaker 4: cousin's first my cousin's kids first birthday party because I
- 16:00Speaker 4: finally got a date with the girl I've been into
- 16:02Speaker 4: for months. I love my cousin, but she's mad at
- 16:05Speaker 4: me because I told her I was going to miss
- 16:07Speaker 4: her son's party because of this date. I tried to
- 16:10Speaker 4: explain to her that I've been wanting to take this
- 16:12Speaker 4: girl out for months and she finally nailed down a
- 16:15Speaker 4: date with me. The only time she can go out
- 16:18Speaker 4: is when the party is My cousin got annoyed when
- 16:21Speaker 4: I said that her kid is only one and won't
- 16:23Speaker 4: remember me not being there. So am I the problem?
- 16:26Speaker 4: I'm at the very least right that the kid won't
- 16:28Speaker 4: remember I wasn't there. So isn't my cousin being selfish?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Wow?
- 16:33Speaker 4: I love jets like. Not only am I not the problem?
- 16:37Speaker 4: My cousin's selfish?
- 16:38Speaker 6: Yeah? Right?
- 16:39Speaker 2: How about you think of me and my love life? Okay,
- 16:41Speaker 2: I've been on a dry spell firm month.
- 16:45Speaker 4: We've also got this up on the Big ninety eight
- 16:47Speaker 4: point seven facebook page if you want to chime in,
- 16:49Speaker 4: but we want to know what you think. Seven oh
- 16:51Speaker 4: one two eight all one nine eight seven Gabe, what
- 16:54Speaker 4: are your thoughts on this?
- 16:56Speaker 2: I feel kind of bad because I'm copping out a
- 16:58Speaker 2: little bit, like this is a both.
- 17:01Speaker 3: And both situation.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I think I think it is okay for the cousin
- 17:06Speaker 2: to be kind of bummed. I mean, if she's full
- 17:09Speaker 2: blown up set, I think that's probably fair. And I
- 17:12Speaker 2: also understand him being like, you know what, I might
- 17:15Speaker 2: have one chance to go out with this girl. She
- 17:18Speaker 2: could be the one. Okay, and it's a first birthday.
- 17:22Speaker 2: All you're really doing is hanging out with this kid
- 17:24Speaker 2: playing on the floor. Anyway, they don't know or care,
- 17:27Speaker 2: or they're not gonna think about it, you know, when
- 17:30Speaker 2: they're ten, they probably would laugh at that, like, oh,
- 17:33Speaker 2: you missed my first birthday and now I have Aunt Becky. Yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 2: I don't know if it was me and it was
- 17:40Speaker 2: my kid and someone's like if my buddy was like Gabe,
- 17:44Speaker 2: I finally have a chance to go out with whoever.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I have been trying for weeks and weeks and I
- 17:50Speaker 2: finally can, Like, I'm not gonna be mad that they
- 17:53Speaker 2: don't come to baby G's first birthday. I'm gonna be
- 17:56Speaker 2: irate you worthless friend. I wouldn't care that much if
- 18:01Speaker 2: I had a kid who someone had to miss their
- 18:03Speaker 2: first birthday for a date.
- 18:04Speaker 3: I don't even think.
- 18:05Speaker 4: That the cousin should be mad at all. Like, I
- 18:07Speaker 4: feel like you're granting the cousin some grace.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I think it's okay. I think she has the right
- 18:12Speaker 1: to be like disappointed or bummed.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Oh, I do not.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I disagree with you.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I don't think she has because be so for real,
- 18:19Speaker 3: Be so for real.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I am someone who has two kids and their first
- 18:24Speaker 4: birthdays came and went. If I asked either Liam or
- 18:28Speaker 4: Aiden right now, Hey, who was at your first birthday party?
- 18:31Speaker 3: They can't name a single person.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, not a client.
- 18:33Speaker 3: They can't name a single and honestly, I don't remember
- 18:36Speaker 3: who showed up to those things? Okay, mom, brain is real.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I think the cousin is being selfish, So I get you,
- 18:42Speaker 4: are right, Chet, I think she's being selfish.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Couldn't he come over like the next day or something,
- 18:47Speaker 2: just do a little late?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Get you to me.
- 18:49Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, kids have no concept of time, Like,
- 18:52Speaker 4: what does it matter? I think the cousin is being ridiculous,
- 18:57Speaker 4: and I don't grant her any grace.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm giving her a little bit, all right, not me? Yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 1: all right?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 19:06Speaker 2: We need you to settle this for us here on
- 19:08Speaker 2: big ninety eight point seven. Obviously this is up on Facebook,
- 19:10Speaker 2: as Angie mentioned, but if you want to call or
- 19:12Speaker 2: text us seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 19:15Speaker 2: eight seven, is Chet the problem? The problem?
- 19:24Speaker 4: Chet wanted to know if he is the problem for
- 19:27Speaker 4: wanting to miss his cousin's kids first birthday party to
- 19:32Speaker 4: go on a date with a girl he's been trying
- 19:34Speaker 4: to get with forever. The cousin is big mad and
- 19:38Speaker 4: he wants to know is he the problem. Gabe thinks
- 19:41Speaker 4: it's understandable for the cousin to be a little bit upset,
- 19:46Speaker 4: but ultimately he's not the problem.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I don't grant such grace. I think the cousin is
- 19:51Speaker 3: being so selfish.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Girl that baby is not gonna remember if he was
- 19:55Speaker 4: there or not. But obviously we are not the end
- 19:58Speaker 4: all be all. We turn to you to solve the
- 20:01Speaker 4: problems here on big ninety eight points.
- 20:03Speaker 2: That's right, that's right, Amanda said, how about both Most
- 20:06Speaker 2: baby birthdays are early afternoons. When's the date? Both parties
- 20:10Speaker 2: seem to lack understanding. Yeah, maybe you can stop by
- 20:13Speaker 2: in the morning, you know, go at like ten or so.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You're not going out on a date at ten am.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And if you are that girlining into you, that's a
- 20:21Speaker 3: fair point.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Or maybe that's when the best bloody Mary deals are. Huh,
- 20:24Speaker 2: you never know, Sarah said, I think everyone is family.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Everyone's family is involved. On different levels. In my case,
- 20:31Speaker 2: if it was my cousin, I can't believe she wrote
- 20:34Speaker 2: this on Facebook. In my case, if it was my cousin, yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I'm probably going on the date. If it was my
- 20:40Speaker 2: sister or brother in law, I would attend the event.
- 20:43Speaker 2: But that's because I'm closer to in laws and my
- 20:45Speaker 2: nieces than i am with my cousins, which is fair.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she said, I agree. The kiddo won't remember it.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Marcy, she said, the kid won't remember as there will
- 20:53Speaker 2: be so many people there. If you are close, pick
- 20:56Speaker 2: a different day and just go hang out just the
- 20:58Speaker 2: two of you.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Maybe you can bring them to the zoo or something.
- 21:01Speaker 2: And then Stephanie says, bring the date to the party,
- 21:03Speaker 2: then go after. Could you imagine on your first date
- 21:07Speaker 2: you bring bring her to the entire family.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Get another date.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Ever, I will.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Say, here's what I will say from the cousin. You
- 21:15Speaker 2: don't Maybe you do.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't want to put that on
- 21:19Speaker 1: her necessarily, but this is.
- 21:20Speaker 3: The point of am I.
- 21:21Speaker 4: The problem is that we only hear yours oude of
- 21:23Speaker 4: the store. We get to make a judgment.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I just don't know if this cousin this girl cousin
- 21:27Speaker 2: knows how difficult it can be for some dudes to
- 21:32Speaker 2: finally get that date with this girl you've been wanting
- 21:37Speaker 2: to date forever. I'm not saying dating is easier for anybody,
- 21:41Speaker 2: but you know, if a lady's interested in a dude
- 21:43Speaker 2: who happens to be single, I think they can kind
- 21:46Speaker 2: of make the first move a little bit easier to
- 21:48Speaker 2: make a date happen than a dude can to going
- 21:51Speaker 2: out with a girl.
- 21:52Speaker 1: This guy has probably put in.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Time, and he's probably put in as much time and
- 21:56Speaker 2: effort trying to get this date as he has spent
- 21:59Speaker 2: time with this Okay, it's an equal balance there, So
- 22:04Speaker 2: I'd say, chat, You're not the problem, but I understand
- 22:06Speaker 2: her being disappointed.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I hope that Chet's cousin is listening and he feels vindicated,
- 22:12Speaker 4: But if not, she can always catch up with the podcast.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Bridgerton Season four.
- 22:21Speaker 4: The second part is out right now, and so we
- 22:25Speaker 4: want to know what is your Bridgerton name? We have
- 22:28Speaker 4: it up on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 22:31Speaker 4: If you want to come up with yours, it's lord
- 22:35Speaker 4: or lady, your middle name, the last thing you ate
- 22:39Speaker 4: and add ton at the end add of and then
- 22:42Speaker 4: your car's model. So for me, I would be I
- 22:46Speaker 4: don't have a middle name, so I'm just gonna go with.
- 22:47Speaker 3: The classic Marie.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Okay, classic girl.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I would be Lady Marie Donuton of Tacoma.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I mean you knew it was never gonna be Celery Toons.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Okay, of course it was Donuts. Yes, And what about you, Gabe,
- 23:03Speaker 4: your lord.
- 23:03Speaker 2: What I would be Lord Joseph Buffalo Wington of Tacoma
- 23:12Speaker 2: or of s R five two.
- 23:15Speaker 3: We're from the same region.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, right, we're fighting over land.
- 23:19Speaker 3: It was like we got some great ones on Facebook page.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Kayla was Lady Anne cool Wrench Doritoton of Honda.
- 23:32Speaker 1: That's a heck of a breakfast.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I love that.
- 23:34Speaker 1: We also had.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Lady Joe mckmuffington of Trailblazer, which is fabulous.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I think we have two more we'll share.
- 23:46Speaker 4: We've got Lady Page Puddington of Honda.
- 23:50Speaker 3: You know what Puddington sounds like? It actually is one. Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 2: When I read that, I was like, Puddington, is that
- 23:56Speaker 2: like a chocolate? I don't know about no Puddington Huntington
- 24:00Speaker 2: all right? And do you want to share?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Leanis?
- 24:01Speaker 4: Oh?
- 24:01Speaker 3: My gosh, this is my favorite one of all time.
- 24:03Speaker 4: So good Lady Lynn Jimmy Chongaton of Specta.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I need some good.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Starting off the day with something good.
- 24:17Speaker 5: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 24:22Speaker 2: A long time Fargo resident is living out a bucket
- 24:25Speaker 2: list adventure as he is riding his motorcycle along one
- 24:29Speaker 2: of the most scenic roads in the world. Sam Ragaswami,
- 24:34Speaker 2: owner of Passage to India was which was recently featured
- 24:38Speaker 2: on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives back in twenty twenty one.
- 24:43Speaker 2: He recently traveled to India to ride the legendary cardolung
- 24:47Speaker 2: La pass. It's this mountain road that climbs to nearly
- 24:50Speaker 2: eighteen thousand feet above sea level, and it requires serious preparation,
- 24:55Speaker 2: including proper gear and time to acclimate to the altitude.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Sam has made the trip three years in a row,
- 25:02Speaker 2: saying the views and ancient monasteries and time spent in
- 25:06Speaker 2: nature are unlike anything you'll see on TV.
- 25:09Speaker 6: The third time in a row that I'm going there
- 25:11Speaker 6: every year and I have not got enough. There's so
- 25:16Speaker 6: much to see, so much to explore, so I'm continuing
- 25:19Speaker 6: to do that. Maybe this year also might be going.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And what makes this trip even better is he does
- 25:24Speaker 2: get to share the experience with his sons. Next up
- 25:28Speaker 2: on his adventure list, he's going to do a ten
- 25:30Speaker 2: to twelve day motorcycle trip around Norway. It sounds like
- 25:34Speaker 2: a dude, it's just living out bucket list adventure after
- 25:37Speaker 2: bucket list adventure, and I think this is super cool.
- 25:40Speaker 4: We need people like this because I don't have an
- 25:42Speaker 4: adventurer's heart from the way that some other people do.
- 25:46Speaker 4: But I am nosy and I want to know all
- 25:48Speaker 4: the things right. So we got to live vicariously through
- 25:51Speaker 4: gentlemen like him.
- 25:52Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Congratulations to Sam, and I'm sure that'll be an incredible
- 25:56Speaker 2: time with your sons. The world is full of nice people.
- 25:59Speaker 2: If you can and find one, you gotta be one.
