- 0:00Speaker 1: Give wor a bri said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 0:04Speaker 1: hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simo show on wor.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some causes. Go to Carol in Philadelphia. Carol,
- 0:18Speaker 1: how you doing fine?
- 0:20Speaker 3: Thank you, Mark. It's really a pleasure to talk to you.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Even though I am from Philadelphia, I am watching everything
- 0:27Speaker 3: that's going on in New York. By the way, I
- 0:30Speaker 3: am a long time listener, first time caller.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Sound like a great caller. We love people in Philadelphia.
- 0:35Speaker 1: We love Philadelphia.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Thank you. Well, my problem with this Curtis thing? How
- 0:40Speaker 3: dare how dare anybody to ask Curtis to drop out?
- 0:45Speaker 3: What's supposed to happen with Republican voters? I mean, what
- 0:49Speaker 3: are they supposed to do? They're certainly not going to
- 0:51Speaker 3: go with a Democrat for the two losers.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yeah, well again, let me just point out this poll
- 0:56Speaker 1: that came out this week was done by the Trump
- 0:58Speaker 1: done by Cuomo's big supporters. It's a don't trust the
- 1:02Speaker 1: pole that came out showing Cuomo and Mom Donnie are
- 1:05Speaker 1: a tie because it was done by heavy, heavy Cuomo supporters.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And then you noticed. They were very careful not to
- 1:11Speaker 1: poll Curtis versus Mam Donnie because it might have shown
- 1:14Speaker 1: the same thing. But go ahead.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Well I'll tell you what. As an outsider, I predict
- 1:18Speaker 3: he is going to landslide like our Trump did, and
- 1:22Speaker 3: I will be the first to be screaming my lungs
- 1:24Speaker 3: out in goodness.
- 1:26Speaker 1: All right, Caroly you did a good job. Your first
- 1:28Speaker 1: call excellent. I don't know about a landslide, but who
- 1:31Speaker 1: knows what could happen. Let's go to Kevin and Charlotte. Kevin,
- 1:35Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 1:37Speaker 4: Hi?
- 1:37Speaker 5: Mark? You know, I'm really upset about this concept of
- 1:41Speaker 5: Trump pardoning p Diddy by the end of the week,
- 1:44Speaker 5: he got a super light sentence to begin with. I mean,
- 1:47Speaker 5: that's the kind of thing democrats do something like that.
- 1:51Speaker 5: He should he was lucky he got what he got.
- 1:54Speaker 5: And also I'm upset over this idea of him for
- 1:57Speaker 5: giving student debt. That's another idea that democrats. I just
- 2:00Speaker 5: heard that this morning.
- 2:01Speaker 1: On Yeah, all right, well you're not wrong, but I
- 2:04Speaker 1: think the only good thing but the student loans watch.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It was the signature of Biden's campaign forgive the student loans. Watch.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Democrats will take him to court. They'll try to stop
- 2:12Speaker 1: Trump say you can't forgive student loans, it's an illegal unconstitution.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Why watch how they flip flop on this. Yeah, he
- 2:18Speaker 1: is a little he's a little too forgiving with the
- 2:20Speaker 1: pardons and the commutations. But he'll never approach Biden's record
- 2:24Speaker 1: of whatever. It was three thirty five hundred pardons and
- 2:27Speaker 1: those were horrible. Those were like drug dealers, murderers, everything.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Vincent, good morning, Marrack, the morning.
- 2:38Speaker 2: My question I have for you. Rudy Giuliani had a
- 2:40Speaker 2: similar problem, as I recall, after he lost the Dinkins
- 2:44Speaker 2: the first time and he was playing to run again,
- 2:47Speaker 2: many many people said, don't even think about it. Of course,
- 2:49Speaker 2: New York City is a democratic city. You're foolish their month.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Isn't a similar situation here with people saying.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's another good point is Rudy in that
- 2:59Speaker 1: race underpolled like crazy. The Poles never showed him ahead,
- 3:04Speaker 1: never he underpolled. Curtis may have the same problem. You
- 3:08Speaker 1: got to remember, as crazy as it sounds, Republicans have
- 3:11Speaker 1: won five of the last eight mayoral races. Five of
- 3:15Speaker 1: the last eight. I know you could argue, well, Bloomberg
- 3:19Speaker 1: spent a million, one hundred million of his own you know, Okay,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but they still won five of the last eight. Let's
- 3:24Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Joel, Good morning matter Mark.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I believe Trump is right and parted in Pete Diddy,
- 3:33Speaker 4: and he's the reason why for what. Got to remember,
- 3:37Speaker 4: Pete Diddy already spent a year and a half in
- 3:40Speaker 4: the joint. I most I was even telling friends let
- 3:45Speaker 4: him out by Christmas. Then he would have served almost
- 3:47Speaker 4: two years. And for what he was convicted of, he
- 3:52Speaker 4: wasn't convicted of the top chargers and put him on
- 3:55Speaker 4: probation for another five years. And that'll put the kabash
- 3:59Speaker 4: on on him on Pete Diddy for a while. Uh. Mark.
- 4:05Speaker 4: The other day I was called by a Teamsters union official,
- 4:11Speaker 4: a union official and.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Media oh something about the ESPAD project.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Well, anyway, Mark, Uh, I don't know. I know Cuomo
- 4:22Speaker 4: stands out there with the with the Electricians union and
- 4:25Speaker 4: this did not the Teamsters. The Teamsters, Uh going? This
- 4:31Speaker 4: guy told me, this union boss, he's going with with Curtis,
- 4:36Speaker 4: and he's given money to Curtis and at least Stephonic
- 4:41Speaker 4: and uh, you know, I don't know how much sway
- 4:43Speaker 4: these people have anymore. But the teamsters are more regular guys.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Those are people were Yeah, they.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Have no sway at all. You know, Clomo sounds a
- 4:53Speaker 1: little silly. The plumbers union has endorsed me. I love plumbers,
- 4:56Speaker 1: They're great people. I don't ask him who to vote for.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Nobody wants a plumber's opinion on who to vote for.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It's like asking Cuoma, what pipe do you use?
- 5:03Speaker 4: I mean, why would you do? You know, as if
- 5:06Speaker 4: everybody's worried about this guy Mondami. He's a nut job,
- 5:10Speaker 4: he's a Kami, he's a Jew hater and this and that.
- 5:14Speaker 4: But I was telling them some friends, I'm gonna treat
- 5:17Speaker 4: this Mondami. God forbid he gets elected. I'm gonna treat
- 5:21Speaker 4: his policies like I treated build the Blasio's policies. I'm gonna,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I notice, like I own real estate, I own commercial
- 5:31Speaker 4: residential vialers. Who were the liberals who voted for these
- 5:35Speaker 4: nut jobs? And you're gonna be the first ones that
- 5:37Speaker 4: I'm going to raise the rents on.
- 5:40Speaker 1: All right, Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. He will,
- 5:43Speaker 1: We'll talk to Howie Carr will be with us next.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Lots to talk to him about. On seven to ten
