- 0:00Speaker 1: I don't know how you found.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Us, but I'm so thankful that you did. It's John
- 0:06Speaker 2: Jay and Rich.
- 0:07Speaker 1: I saw this singing BuzzFeed.
- 0:08Speaker 3: This article off a BuzzFeed is making the rounds because
- 0:10Speaker 3: it highlights ridiculous British phrases that Americans can't believe are real.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Like in Kyle, after I say the phrase, will you
- 0:20Speaker 3: say it in the English accent?
- 0:21Speaker 4: Oh?
- 0:21Speaker 1: Sure, full of beans? That's full of beans. It means
- 0:26Speaker 1: you're full of energy.
- 0:27Speaker 5: Oh really like you're full of beans.
- 0:31Speaker 3: This means if you throw a temper tantrum, you're throwing.
- 0:33Speaker 3: It's called throw a wobbly.
- 0:35Speaker 6: All right, now, don't throw a warbblely right now, you're
- 0:38Speaker 6: gonna be all right.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Okay. Now, this means it's cold outside.
- 0:42Speaker 5: Brass monkeys, brass monkeys, Well, that funky monkey.
- 0:48Speaker 3: They say this phrase that's about as useful as a
- 0:50Speaker 3: chocolate teapot.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Well, that's about.
- 0:52Speaker 7: As useful as a chocolate teapot.
- 0:55Speaker 3: This next phrase means that you're going to jail. Spent
- 0:58Speaker 3: the weekend at her majesty's pleasure.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Well, you just spent the weekend at her majesty's pleasure.
- 1:08Speaker 1: This next phrase means to make fun of someone, or
- 1:11Speaker 1: someone's crossing the line and it's taking the mickey.
- 1:14Speaker 6: All right, now, you're taking the mickey on that one.
- 1:18Speaker 1: This next phrase means you're losing your mind, gone completely delayly.
- 1:23Speaker 7: I've gone completely delightly. Right now, what's happening?
- 1:27Speaker 3: This next phrase means like takes the cake, but in
- 1:30Speaker 3: a negative way, usually used to show frustration. The phrases
- 1:34Speaker 3: takes the biscuit?
- 1:35Speaker 7: What takes the biscuit?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:39Speaker 3: This next phrase means just like that, and the phrases
- 1:43Speaker 3: Bob's your uncle, Oh yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 7: And then Bob's your uncle.
- 1:47Speaker 8: We read.
- 1:50Speaker 7: And then Bob's your uncle. We went to the house.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Well you know what you're here too, is when they
- 1:54Speaker 5: say just bugger out of nowhere. Bugger. But Bob's your uncle.
- 1:59Speaker 5: I've heard quite a bit like on TV. You know,
- 2:02Speaker 5: we go to the bank, we do this, and then
- 2:03Speaker 5: Bob jerunkle.
- 2:04Speaker 3: If you watched the movie with Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein,
- 2:07Speaker 3: they do a whole thing on a word that we
- 2:09Speaker 3: can never ever say. Yeah and how that word in
- 2:11Speaker 3: England is just casual. But he gets set to human
- 2:14Speaker 3: resources per se a lot.
- 2:16Speaker 7: It's not a good word.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Not a good word.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Hey dummy, if you.
- 2:19Speaker 9: Get free roses, it's a trap. War of the Roses
- 2:24Speaker 9: starts right.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Now on John Jay and Ridge.
- 2:27Speaker 10: One O four to seven Kiss FB, John Jay and Rich.
- 2:29Speaker 10: It's time for War of the Roses. You're in a relationship,
- 2:32Speaker 10: you think so much cheating, you come to us. Tell
- 2:34Speaker 10: us why they were gonna call a person? Tell them
- 2:35Speaker 10: they want a dozen red roses. They can send them
- 2:37Speaker 10: to anybody they want in the world for free. They're romantic.
- 2:40Speaker 10: Who do you want to send them to? Hopefully they
- 2:42Speaker 10: pick you.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Let's say hello to Tina Hi, Tina Hi Hi.
- 2:49Speaker 11: Okay, I really need your guys help. I think my
- 2:53Speaker 11: boyfriend is up to something and I want to catch
- 2:56Speaker 11: him with War of the Roses. Okay, so a few
- 2:59Speaker 11: weeks ago, I logged into his iclad account on my
- 3:02Speaker 11: phone and added my email. So basically that means like
- 3:05Speaker 11: every text message he gets also comes to me. And
- 3:09Speaker 11: lately there's this one woman he keeps texting like NonStop.
- 3:14Speaker 11: But here's the weird part. Every single message between them
- 3:17Speaker 11: is in Spanish, and my boyfriend doesn't speak.
- 3:20Speaker 12: A word of Spanish.
- 3:22Speaker 11: Like, we'll go to an authentic taco spot and he'll
- 3:26Speaker 11: just point at the menu, so he can't even he
- 3:28Speaker 11: can't even order in Spanish. So explain to me how
- 3:31Speaker 11: he's suddenly carrying on full conversations in Spanish. So I
- 3:36Speaker 11: was assuming, like maybe he's using Google Translate or something.
- 3:39Speaker 11: But I haven't completely confronted him about it yet because
- 3:42Speaker 11: I want to catch him red handed. And I figured,
- 3:44Speaker 11: if he's actually like really hiding something, you guys can
- 3:47Speaker 11: help me expose it.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Do you know what, Like, what kind of stuff is
- 3:51Speaker 5: he saying when you translated?
- 3:53Speaker 11: Well, it's it's flirty stuff. But it's also like maybe
- 3:59Speaker 11: there's a world where I'm wrong, maybe like he's practicing.
- 4:02Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 4:03Speaker 11: I want to give him the benefit of the doubt,
- 4:06Speaker 11: but like my Spidey senses are way way way up.
- 4:08Speaker 11: What doesn't seem right.
- 4:09Speaker 14: The fact that you took it to the extent of
- 4:11Speaker 14: like putting your email to where all of his text
- 4:13Speaker 14: messages are coming to your phone. Like that's a pretty
- 4:16Speaker 14: big that's a big thing to do. So what is
- 4:19Speaker 14: it that he was doing beforehand that made you even
- 4:22Speaker 14: think to do something like that? Because that's crazy. I
- 4:25Speaker 14: wouldn't even do something like that.
- 4:27Speaker 8: I would.
- 4:29Speaker 14: I mean I probably you know what, You're probably right,
- 4:32Speaker 14: but you know what I mean though, like that, I mean,
- 4:36Speaker 14: you have to really be feeling some kind of way
- 4:38Speaker 14: to do that.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I like how she says. I want to give him
- 4:41Speaker 5: the benefit of the doubt, So I'm having all of
- 4:43Speaker 5: his text go to my phone.
- 4:45Speaker 14: That doubt what I'm saying, but verify, Well, Kyle's definitely
- 4:52Speaker 14: on your side.
- 4:54Speaker 5: So yeah, I mean if yeah, you said your spidey
- 4:55Speaker 5: senses are tingling, and that's really all you need. You
- 4:57Speaker 5: really don't need the evidence. The gut knows things. So
- 5:00Speaker 5: let's get.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Let's get him on the phone. See who he sends
- 5:03Speaker 3: the flowers to? Okay, the long romantic flowers.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Do you know this woman's name? You must know her name?
- 5:09Speaker 11: Oh yeah, ploma Coloma.

- 5:25Speaker 1: of the Roses.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Tina thinks your boyfriend's cheinah or Tina, I didn't even
- 5:29Speaker 3: ask your boyfriend's name.
- 5:30Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 5:31Speaker 11: Chandler.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You think Chandler is messing around with a woman named
- 5:37Speaker 3: Paloma because you found text messages where they're going back
- 5:40Speaker 3: and forth and speaking in Spanish, and you're like, this
- 5:42Speaker 3: dude doesn't know Spanish.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Very weird. Okay, So Colin Fugg are you ready?
- 5:48Speaker 7: I'm ready.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Okay, let's do this. Let's do it, Tina, So you
- 5:51Speaker 1: hang tight. What's going on?
- 6:10Speaker 15: Hell?
- 6:11Speaker 6: Hi, there is Chandler available, speaking perfect Hi Chandler. So
- 6:16Speaker 6: my name is Hazel. I'm with a new company called
- 6:18Speaker 6: JNR Flowers.
- 6:19Speaker 7: This is so cool.
- 6:21Speaker 6: So we have this social media campaign where you've been
- 6:23Speaker 6: chosen to be a micro influencer.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Here's what this means for you, because you're like, what
- 6:27Speaker 7: is happening.
- 6:27Speaker 6: You actually get to send our most romantic bouquet of roses.
- 6:30Speaker 6: They are long stem red roses. They come in a
- 6:33Speaker 6: beautiful vase. They kind of make anybody swoon. And this
- 6:35Speaker 6: is totally free for you. We're just kind of asking
- 6:38Speaker 6: that you help spread the word and post about us
- 6:40Speaker 6: on whichever social media platform you use the most.
- 6:46Speaker 8: Like, I'm not going to get rid over a credit
- 6:48Speaker 8: card or anything like that, an't I?
- 6:49Speaker 9: No?
- 6:50Speaker 6: I actually won't get any personal information from you. Really,
- 6:53Speaker 6: the only information I do need from you is I'm
- 6:55Speaker 6: going to send the roses out with a nice little card,
- 6:57Speaker 6: and I always just say, this is your chance to
- 6:59Speaker 6: personalize it, so you can get as personal as you want.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Have kind of heard all types of messages during this campaign.
- 7:05Speaker 6: But if you let me know the message you want
- 7:07Speaker 6: on the card, we can go name address, and I'll
- 7:09Speaker 6: actually give you a time they'll be delivered.
- 7:11Speaker 8: Uh, all right, if it's free.
- 7:14Speaker 6: Sure, yeah yeah, And then I will, you know, go
- 7:16Speaker 6: over our social media handles and stuff like that, just
- 7:18Speaker 6: in case you know, you do want to post about
- 7:20Speaker 6: how great your experience was.

- 7:38Speaker 6: pokito okay?
- 7:40Speaker 7: So and then anything.
- 7:41Speaker 6: Else after that, no, that that's it, okay, so obviously,

- 16:52Speaker 3: At our Instagram, John Jay and Rich On Instagram, you
- 16:55Speaker 3: will see a clip of Peyton and Nick. They do
- 17:00Speaker 3: this show on Fox, and apparently there's a little bit
- 17:05Speaker 3: of drama going on with a clip.
- 17:06Speaker 14: Why they are tearing me up in the comments And
- 17:10Speaker 14: I didn't even feel like it was that hot of
- 17:12Speaker 14: a take, but we are actually talking about it on
- 17:15Speaker 14: the air. But we were talking about the Toy Story
- 17:18Speaker 14: five premiere, and I had the take that I feel
- 17:22Speaker 14: like movie theaters should have, like have an optional screening
- 17:27Speaker 14: of adult only showings of these movies that are technically
- 17:32Speaker 14: for kids, like to like Toy Story five because right
- 17:35Speaker 14: because my thing is, like I'm twenty seven, I grew
- 17:38Speaker 14: up on the Toy Story franchise. I want to be
- 17:40Speaker 14: able to go to a three pm Saturday screening be
- 17:43Speaker 14: involved with all of the hype of opening weekend. But
- 17:46Speaker 14: I also don't want like a bunch of kids running
- 17:48Speaker 14: all over the place, which I understand, but I just
- 17:51Speaker 14: think that they should give an extra option because I
- 17:52Speaker 14: would pay money.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And what happened people got I saw at ninety comments.
- 17:58Speaker 7: We were like, it's a kid's movie, what do you expect?
- 18:00Speaker 14: And I'm like, I get it. I understand. I'm not
- 18:02Speaker 14: saying take those screenings away. I'm just saying provide the
- 18:05Speaker 14: extra option because I know people would like that.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Okay, So I mean, I know I would.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I kind of agree with you, but I can tell
- 18:14Speaker 3: you why it probably doesn't happen. And I don't say
- 18:16Speaker 3: I'm not an expert, but if you do go to
- 18:18Speaker 3: roadhouse cinemas, I am in the previews, so I do
- 18:22Speaker 3: have that. I do have a tie to the movie business.
- 18:26Speaker 3: I think probably because that's a great idea for you.
- 18:28Speaker 3: But maybe they sell two tickets, right, so they're probably like,
- 18:31Speaker 3: I'm not gonna waste a showing for two people to
- 18:33Speaker 3: go do that.
- 18:34Speaker 1: So I can understand that. But the general just was
- 18:36Speaker 1: people mad at you saying it's a it's a kids movie.
- 18:38Speaker 14: Yeah, it's a kid's movie. I get it. But like
- 18:40Speaker 14: very loud accusations, I do not hate kids.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I love that.
- 18:44Speaker 5: That's what's happening.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I love.
- 18:46Speaker 14: I am an auntie. I want kids myself. I just
- 18:49Speaker 14: don't like how Rich tries to push it on me
- 18:51Speaker 14: all the time.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Well you are gonna, you know, have babies soon. But
- 18:54Speaker 5: who do you like? Who do you just like other
- 18:55Speaker 5: people's kids or other people's dogs more?
- 18:57Speaker 14: Honestly, I feel the same. You know what I like
- 19:01Speaker 14: from a distance.
- 19:02Speaker 3: I love kids, and I feel sometimes like when I
- 19:04Speaker 3: get on an airplane and there's a kid crying and
- 19:06Speaker 3: people complain it doesn't bother me, and I think it's
- 19:09Speaker 3: because I have kids. In fact, I love it and
- 19:10Speaker 3: I feel bad for the parent and I want to
- 19:12Speaker 3: But now here's another thing you can do. You can
- 19:15Speaker 3: wait for the movie to come out and watch it.
- 19:17Speaker 14: I want to go to the movie theater. I love
- 19:20Speaker 14: going to the movies.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Well, then you have to go go to a midnight screening.
- 19:23Speaker 14: I like to go to sleep.
- 19:24Speaker 3: When you the problem when you when you would just
- 19:26Speaker 3: see Toy Story, were their kids there?
- 19:29Speaker 14: There was a few kids.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Were they contained?
- 19:31Speaker 14: They were and it was like a seven thirty showing.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Okay, so the flip side is like and like Kyle
- 19:37Speaker 1: had like a magical moment.
- 19:39Speaker 6: I did, and it was with kids.
- 19:44Speaker 14: I do not.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Since you hate kids, Pete, I'm sorry, I'm about to
- 19:48Speaker 6: tell you the story.
- 19:50Speaker 14: I love the children. I love the little humans.
- 19:53Speaker 6: So you know, we talk about TV a lot, so
- 19:55Speaker 6: I kind of take it as like part of my
- 19:57Speaker 6: job to like watch shows, and so normally I'm watching
- 20:00Speaker 6: murder shows and mysteries and stuff like that. So I
- 20:02Speaker 6: watch it early in the morning when I'm getting ready
- 20:04Speaker 6: and it's by myself on my phone and we and
- 20:06Speaker 6: like you know, later in the day, if the TV
- 20:09Speaker 6: is on, it's the kids and they're watching their kids shows.
- 20:11Speaker 6: They're watching Mark Romer or whatever, you know, crunch Labs
- 20:14Speaker 6: and stuff like that. And so so yesterday they were
- 20:18Speaker 6: kind of doing their quiet time. That's what we call
- 20:20Speaker 6: when we give him an hour of like tablet time,
- 20:22Speaker 6: you know, because I think the kids still need that.
- 20:24Speaker 6: I don't want him to be tablet kids. But at
- 20:25Speaker 6: the same time, like, let's be real, video games are fun.
- 20:28Speaker 6: And so they were having their quiet time, and so
- 20:30Speaker 6: I was watching Dallas Cowboys, Cheerleaders, America's Sweethearts on Netflix,
- 20:34Speaker 6: and I'm like, you know what, I think it's if
- 20:36Speaker 6: they tune in occasionally for a second. I feel like
- 20:39Speaker 6: that's an appropriate enough show that I'm not going to
- 20:41Speaker 6: be like, oh, I got to turn this off immediately.
- 20:43Speaker 6: So I turn it on and the craziest thing happened
- 20:46Speaker 6: is like, slowly but surely, they turned off their tablets
- 20:50Speaker 6: and they started watching the show with me, and then
- 20:52Speaker 6: Scott came in from work.
- 20:54Speaker 7: He works from home.
- 20:57Speaker 6: He got done with work and he came in and
- 20:59Speaker 6: he started watching it, and then we all sat down on.
- 21:02Speaker 7: The couch and we were all watching the show together
- 21:04Speaker 7: and I kind of looked over it and I'm.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Like, what is happening right now? This is amazing. We're
- 21:08Speaker 6: all bonding over the show. So I highly recommend watching
- 21:13Speaker 6: the show.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Because brisble together.
- 21:15Speaker 3: So you wait for toy Storry to come on, watch
- 21:17Speaker 3: it as a family or go to these or anything.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Watching watching TV as a family is very good. The
- 21:23Speaker 3: one show that used to happen to my kids with
- 21:25Speaker 3: that was Impractical Jokers. Everything you just describe what happened
- 21:30Speaker 3: that as.
- 21:30Speaker 7: Everyone enjoys it. You enjoy it they enjoy it.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The laughter, the belly laugh. It was was always great.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich, John J. Rich, John JAYE. Rich.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Should we want to know what's the craziest real reason
- 21:45Speaker 1: you were late or didn't show up for work or
- 21:47Speaker 1: an event? Eight seven seven nine three seven one oh
- 21:50Speaker 1: four seven Mike, good morning, Good morning. So what is
- 21:56Speaker 1: the real crazy reason you were later didn't show for work?
- 22:01Speaker 15: Uh, there was one time a couple of years ago
- 22:04Speaker 15: or not a few years ago.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I had.
- 22:10Speaker 15: Went from Greenway and the I seventeen on my way
- 22:12Speaker 15: to work and got to about Bethany Home Northern to
- 22:17Speaker 15: get gas. And as I was getting gas, all I
- 22:20Speaker 15: hear is now in the background, and I'm like, what.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is going on?
- 22:25Speaker 15: Apparently I took a cat all the way down the
- 22:27Speaker 15: seventeen and they were was in my wheelwall and it lived.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It lift it okay.
- 22:35Speaker 15: Called I had to call my boss and be like, yo,
- 22:40Speaker 15: I needed I have a cat real I needed to
- 22:42Speaker 15: bring it back home. So got the cat out, brought
- 22:45Speaker 15: it back home, and yeah, it was late to work.
- 22:48Speaker 1: But quite a story.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Did you did you let the cat ride on the
- 22:51Speaker 5: wheel well on the way home too, or did you
- 22:53Speaker 5: take it out.
- 22:54Speaker 8: No, no, maybe we took it out.
- 22:57Speaker 15: I had this random guy at the gas station helped
- 22:59Speaker 15: me take it.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So there was really a cat. It was on Aprilfol's Day.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Listening to our radio track, I'm like, whoa, someone took
- 23:05Speaker 1: that Aplefol's Day joke a whole new level.
- 23:07Speaker 5: That means if you ever hear a cat, it might
- 23:09Speaker 5: be in your wheel. Well, it might not be an
- 23:10Speaker 5: Ample Fool's Day thing.
- 23:11Speaker 15: Wow, all right, the platform I was sitting on was
- 23:14Speaker 15: very tiny. I don't understand how it survives.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Well, thanks for sharing that with us.
- 23:18Speaker 15: Mike, Yeah, no problem.
- 23:21Speaker 8: That's a fun day.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Too, Susie. Give us the real crazy reason you were
- 23:26Speaker 1: late for work or miss work.
- 23:28Speaker 19: Well, I live in a rural part of Idaho. It's
- 23:34Speaker 19: called the Wood River Valley. It's where the ski resort
- 23:37Speaker 19: Sun Valley is located, and there are a lot of
- 23:42Speaker 19: sheep ranchers here and one day I was headed to
- 23:46Speaker 19: work and heading down there's only one road to get
- 23:50Speaker 19: up and down the valley. We're hundreds of sheep just
- 23:54Speaker 19: walking down the road because they take him to the
- 23:58Speaker 19: mountains in the more time and then they bring him
- 24:01Speaker 19: down in the fall. And I was probably about a
- 24:05Speaker 19: half hour late, just waiting for the sheep to get.
- 24:08Speaker 8: Out of my way.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Did you take video?
- 24:14Speaker 8: I didn't.
- 24:14Speaker 19: I wish. I mean we still can because they still
- 24:17Speaker 19: do it, but now they kind of head them down.
- 24:20Speaker 8: The bike path.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 24:23Speaker 19: It was crazy. And when I got when I got
- 24:25Speaker 19: to work, this woman was on the phone and she's like, oh,
- 24:29Speaker 19: traffic was crazy. I'm like, oh, did you get stuck
- 24:31Speaker 19: in the sheep too? And she's like, thought I was insane.
- 24:34Speaker 19: She's like, no, like actual cars.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Thanks Susie.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Yep, Like there's a we posted on Facebook, Domingus says
- 24:49Speaker 3: I live in a rural place, only one street in
- 24:51Speaker 3: and out.
- 24:52Speaker 1: It ran. It rained so bad the street flooded and
- 24:54Speaker 1: we cannot go through until a lowered. Then the street
- 24:57Speaker 1: was flooded with frogs, so we went over road. We
- 25:00Speaker 1: hit frogs that kept hearing squishing of frogs.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Autumn.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Hello, Hi, tell us a real crazy reason you were
- 25:11Speaker 1: late for work or you missed work?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Okay? So I used to commute from Red Rock to
- 25:17Speaker 4: Tucson for work and I was on it ten at
- 25:21Speaker 4: about six thirty in the morning, driving in my non
- 25:25Speaker 4: aerodynamics vehicle. I was driving the quebe at the time,
- 25:29Speaker 4: and I got pulled over for speeding, and the DPS
- 25:32Speaker 4: officer who pulled me over said that he clocked me
- 25:36Speaker 4: at going one hundred and ten miles an hour and
- 25:39Speaker 4: he had to refer to his radar three times to
- 25:43Speaker 4: even comprehend that that's how fast I was going.
- 25:46Speaker 7: Oh, no, you were just trying to get there.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Wow. Okay, all right, heyad, thanks.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Autumn, You're welcome.
- 25:58Speaker 19: Have a great day.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven. Here
- 26:02Speaker 3: Nick On on Facebook says, my brother got arrested with
- 26:05Speaker 3: my only set of car keys.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Oh that's terrible.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Yeah right, you can't. That's why you were late to work.
- 26:11Speaker 1: When you're telling your boss my brother got arrested.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Car caught fire on the freeway, cut off my finger
- 26:18Speaker 3: making my morning bagel. Oh my gosh, dog swallowed my keyfob.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Craziest reason you were later didn't show up for work
- 26:27Speaker 3: or an event. The guy next door was holding his
- 26:30Speaker 3: family hostage, and swat was all over our block and
- 26:32Speaker 3: we were on lockdown.
- 26:33Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, terrifying.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Eight seven seven nine three seven one o four seven.
- 26:38Speaker 1: We want to hear from you next. It's John Jaye Rich,
- 26:40Speaker 1: John Jaye Rich, John Jane Rich Chris that good morning,
- 26:44Speaker 1: Good morning, Hi don Jay. Hi. So we were doing
- 26:46Speaker 1: that thing right about the craziest reason you were late
- 26:49Speaker 1: to work? Real reason, Yes.
- 26:52Speaker 13: Real reason. Okay, are you ready to start?
- 26:55Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:57Speaker 13: Okay. So one morning, I I was the last person
- 27:01Speaker 13: to leave the house, which is super unusual. But I
- 27:03Speaker 13: was walking downstairs and I noticed in our living room
- 27:07Speaker 13: there was what I thought was a very big lizard
- 27:10Speaker 13: on the wall. We have two cats and they love
- 27:12Speaker 13: to bring us presents, and the most popular present is
- 27:14Speaker 13: a lizard. So I thought, okay, I got to get
- 27:17Speaker 13: this lizard. But I kept walking towards it, and I realized,
- 27:20Speaker 13: oh my god, it's not only going up the wall,
- 27:22Speaker 13: but it's down onto the carpet and it's like three
- 27:25Speaker 13: feet long and there's no feet, and oh my god,
- 27:28Speaker 13: it's a snake.
- 27:29Speaker 7: No, no, no, no no.
- 27:31Speaker 13: I lose my mind because I am terrified of snakes. Luckily,
- 27:37Speaker 13: I had my phone in my hand, and I call
- 27:39Speaker 13: my husband, who's at work, and I'm like barely getting
- 27:42Speaker 13: out the words there's a snake in our living room.
- 27:44Speaker 13: There's a snake in our living room. And he's like,
- 27:46Speaker 13: doesn't believe me. But eventually does. He races home. He
- 27:49Speaker 13: tells me much later that he ran two bedl likes
- 27:52Speaker 13: to get home. He gets home, he walks into the
- 27:55Speaker 13: house carrying a towel, and I'm like, and because and
- 27:59Speaker 13: I haven't moved. I'm standing in the exact same spot
- 28:01Speaker 13: as when I saw the snake, because I think if
- 28:03Speaker 13: I leave my spot and the snake moves and we
- 28:05Speaker 13: don't see it, then I'm moving out.
- 28:07Speaker 8: Of this house.
- 28:08Speaker 13: Yeah, oh fine, never coming back. So I had been
- 28:11Speaker 13: standing on the staircase the whole time, like just shaking.
- 28:15Speaker 13: So my husband comes in with a towel. I'm like,
- 28:17Speaker 13: a towel, what's the towel going to do? And he
- 28:20Speaker 13: goes back out. We talked about it for a second.
- 28:22Speaker 13: He goes back outside and me brings the box. He's like, okay,
- 28:24Speaker 13: I'm going to put it under I'm going to get
- 28:25Speaker 13: it and I'm going to put it under a box
- 28:27Speaker 13: and then you know, we'll figure it out from there.
- 28:29Speaker 13: And he sends me upstairs, and I'm like, okay, thank god,
- 28:32Speaker 13: I don't have to be around for this. So I
- 28:34Speaker 13: go back upstairs and after a little bit, I hear
- 28:36Speaker 13: this super loud commotion and my husband's name is Monty.
- 28:40Speaker 13: He calls me back downstairs. I'm like, no, I don't
- 28:43Speaker 13: want to go back down there. I go back downstairs
- 28:45Speaker 13: and I see the box upside down in the middle
- 28:47Speaker 13: of the living room. I don't see the snake. I'm like, okay,
- 28:49Speaker 13: we got the snake. But he's yelling at me from
- 28:52Speaker 13: another room, and I go in that room and the
- 28:54Speaker 13: cat brought in this giant bird and some once he's like, yes,
- 28:58Speaker 13: I needed a towel, and he's got the bird in
- 29:01Speaker 13: the towel and he has me open the sliding glass
- 29:04Speaker 13: of door and he releases the bird and we both
- 29:06Speaker 13: come in the house and we're walking by the living
- 29:09Speaker 13: room where this box is, and I continue to go
- 29:11Speaker 13: upstairs so I don't want to be anywhere around the snake.
- 29:14Speaker 13: And I hear him say he lifts up the box
- 29:16Speaker 13: and he's like, oh, f where did it go?
- 29:19Speaker 7: Oh no, no.
- 29:25Speaker 13: I immediately I'm like, that's it. I'm getting help, and
- 29:29Speaker 13: I go running out the front door and I go
- 29:31Speaker 13: down the block about three houses because we have a
- 29:34Speaker 13: neighbor who is a police officer but also super in
- 29:37Speaker 13: the camping and hunting, so I go running to his
- 29:40Speaker 13: house and I'm ringing the doorbell and nobody answers. I'm like, okay,
- 29:44Speaker 13: what do I do? So I'm going back towards our
- 29:46Speaker 13: house and I notice a house that's directly across the street.
- 29:49Speaker 13: Something catches my eye and I look at it, and
- 29:52Speaker 13: my brain is like scrambled this morning already with the
- 29:55Speaker 13: snake and the bird, and I don't believe what I'm seeing.
- 29:58Speaker 13: The garbage can of the house is completely on fire
- 30:02Speaker 13: and it's up against their garage door, and there's a
- 30:05Speaker 13: big tree that's right next to it. And I'm like,
- 30:09Speaker 13: oh my gosh, this neighbor's house is going to burn down,
- 30:13Speaker 13: and this tree is going to catch on fire, and
- 30:15Speaker 13: then another's neighbor house is going to burn down, and
- 30:17Speaker 13: what kind of crazy morning is this?
- 30:19Speaker 4: And I.
- 30:21Speaker 13: Go running back in the house and I yelled call
- 30:24Speaker 13: nine one one, and Monty turns to me and he said,
- 30:27Speaker 13: for a snake. I'm like, yes, but I said no,
- 30:31Speaker 13: our neighbor's house is on fire. And he comes outside
- 30:34Speaker 13: and mewlicks. He's like, oh my god. So I dial
- 30:37Speaker 13: nine one one, but I am a complete blubbering mess.
- 30:40Speaker 13: I mean, they're like, okay, where do you live and
- 30:42Speaker 13: I'm like, here, I live here, I don't know. I
- 30:48Speaker 13: finally get out the address, which took me a while,
- 30:51Speaker 13: and I could tell they're like, Okay, this lady is insane.
- 30:55Speaker 13: And as I'm on the phone with nine one one,
- 30:58Speaker 13: a police car rolls up and I could tell that
- 31:01Speaker 13: they're rolling up to see check out my story. And
- 31:04Speaker 13: the next thing I know, the police officer I can
- 31:06Speaker 13: see him on his radio, and then I hear fire
- 31:09Speaker 13: sirens and everything, and they show up. And it turns
- 31:13Speaker 13: out our neighbor deals with sodium sodium metal. I got
- 31:22Speaker 13: my husband here. He's helping sodium metal jacks. It acts
- 31:28Speaker 13: really badly to water. It explodes, and the fire department
- 31:33Speaker 13: knew this because when they moved in, they had to
- 31:35Speaker 13: tell the fire department this. So they completely shut down
- 31:37Speaker 13: the block because if the explodes, it could blow up
- 31:40Speaker 13: that house and the house right next door to it.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Oh, if they.
- 31:46Speaker 13: You can't hit it with a hose. Okay, the water
- 31:49Speaker 13: will cause the sodium metal to explode, which I guess
- 31:54Speaker 13: is the cool thing about sodium metal.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Who knew and that's why, and that's why you were
- 31:58Speaker 1: late to work.
- 32:01Speaker 13: Well, no, so.
- 32:03Speaker 5: I couldn't sind my shoes.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Guys.
- 32:08Speaker 13: So the block is completely shut down by the fire department.
- 32:11Speaker 13: Now not all the neighbors are coming out, and including
- 32:14Speaker 13: our police officer neighbor who had been in the shower
- 32:17Speaker 13: when I stopped by. And Monty goes up to him
- 32:19Speaker 13: and is like, hey man, I'm going to borrow you
- 32:21Speaker 13: for a second. We got a snake in our house.
- 32:22Speaker 13: And he's like, oh, sure, what kind of snake is?
- 32:24Speaker 13: It is a rattlesnake. And Monty's like, I don't think so,
- 32:28Speaker 13: and he's like sure, okay, just second. So this is
- 32:30Speaker 13: where I think this story gets funny is our neighbor grabs,
- 32:34Speaker 13: goes into his garage, grabs one glove, comes walking into
- 32:38Speaker 13: our house with one glove and opens the box and
- 32:41Speaker 13: I guess the snake had curled up. It's like this
- 32:43Speaker 13: three foot long snake that it curled up under the
- 32:45Speaker 13: flat and it's like jumping at him. And our neighbor goes, wow,
- 32:49Speaker 13: this snake is mad, reaches into the box and grabs
- 32:51Speaker 13: the snake with his ungloved hand.
- 32:56Speaker 5: What was the glove for the I don't dirty bosses.
- 33:06Speaker 13: It was a rattlesnake. I don't know, but the fire
- 33:10Speaker 13: ended up being put out. Our neighbor rescued us from
- 33:14Speaker 13: the snake, but he well, no, we rescued ourselves from
- 33:18Speaker 13: the bird because we let it free with a towel
- 33:21Speaker 13: that my husband initially walked into the house with. And
- 33:24Speaker 13: then so then the next thing you know, we have
- 33:27Speaker 13: all these neighbors standing outside watching the fire department with
- 33:30Speaker 13: this fire. We've got our other neighbor walking around with
- 33:32Speaker 13: his snake in his hand that he had killed because
- 33:36Speaker 13: I was like, no, if you don't kill the snake,
- 33:38Speaker 13: I'm moving. And it was just the craziest day. And
- 33:41Speaker 13: I ended up making it to work before lunch.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You were late to work. I'd love to hear that
- 33:46Speaker 1: very late to work.
- 33:47Speaker 13: I was about three and a half hours later to work.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Do you still work there?
- 33:52Speaker 13: I don't. At the time, I worked at a hospital,
- 33:54Speaker 13: and now I switched. I work in the school system.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Okay, that's that's got to be lore at the hospital.
- 34:00Speaker 5: It sounds what she sounds like, NA following you around.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Chris ed Monty. Thank you guys for calling the show.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Thank you for listening. What a great story.
- 34:10Speaker 13: Oh hey, we love you.
- 34:12Speaker 17: Thank you.
- 34:12Speaker 13: You make my morning every morning. You make it so
- 34:14Speaker 13: easy to get up and then you make me laugh
- 34:17Speaker 13: and just brighten my day. So thank you guys so
- 34:19Speaker 13: much for everything.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I have a great day.
- 34:21Speaker 13: All right, you too. Take care.
- 34:23Speaker 2: See dummy, if you.
- 34:24Speaker 9: Get free roses, it's a trap. Woar of the Roses
- 34:29Speaker 9: starts right.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Now on John Jay and Rich one O.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Four seven Kiss FM. John Jay and Rich It's time
- 34:34Speaker 10: for one of the roses. You're in a relationship, you
- 34:36Speaker 10: think so much cheating, you come to us.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Tell us why they were gonna call a person? Tell
- 34:40Speaker 3: them they one a dozen red roses. They could send
- 34:42Speaker 3: them to anybody they want in the world for free.
- 34:44Speaker 3: They're romantic. Who do you want to send them to?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Hopefully they pick you. Let's say hello to Tina Hi,
- 34:51Speaker 3: Tina Hi Hi.
- 34:54Speaker 11: Okay, I really need your guys help. I think my
- 34:58Speaker 11: boyfriend is up to something and I want to catch
- 35:00Speaker 11: him with where the roses?
- 35:02Speaker 1: Okay, So a few weeks.
- 35:04Speaker 11: Ago, I logged into his iclad account on my phone
- 35:07Speaker 11: and added my email. So basically that means like every
- 35:09Speaker 11: text message he gets also comes to me. And lately
- 35:14Speaker 11: there's this one woman he keeps texting like NonStop. But
- 35:19Speaker 11: here's the weird part. Every single message between them is
- 35:22Speaker 11: in Spanish, and my boyfriend doesn't speak a word of Spanish,
- 35:27Speaker 11: Like we'll go to an authentic taco spot and he'll
- 35:30Speaker 11: just point at the menu, so he can't even he
- 35:33Speaker 11: can't even order in Spanish. So explain to me how
- 35:35Speaker 11: he suddenly carrying on full conversations in Spanish. So I
- 35:40Speaker 11: was assuming, like maybe he's using Google Translate or something.
- 35:44Speaker 11: But I haven't completely confronted him about it yet because
- 35:47Speaker 11: I want to catch him red handed. And I figured,
- 35:49Speaker 11: if he's actually like really hiding something, you guys can
- 35:52Speaker 11: help me expose it.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Do you know what? Like what kind of stuff is
- 35:56Speaker 5: he saying when you translated?
- 35:58Speaker 11: Well, it's it's flirty stuff. But it's also like maybe
- 36:03Speaker 11: there's a world where I'm wrong, Maybe like he's practicing.
- 36:07Speaker 11: I don't know. I want to give him the benefit
- 36:10Speaker 11: of the doubt, but like my spidy senses are way
- 36:12Speaker 11: way way up.
- 36:12Speaker 12: What he doesn't seem right.
- 36:14Speaker 14: The fact that you took it to the extent of
- 36:16Speaker 14: like putting your email to where all of his text
- 36:18Speaker 14: messages are coming to your phone, Like that's a pretty
- 36:21Speaker 14: big that's a big thing to do. So what is
- 36:24Speaker 14: it that he was doing beforehand that made you even
- 36:27Speaker 14: think to do something like that, because that's crazy. I
- 36:30Speaker 14: wouldn't even do something like that. I mean, I probably
- 36:35Speaker 14: you know what. You're probably right, but you know what
- 36:39Speaker 14: I mean though like that, I mean, you have to
- 36:41Speaker 14: really be feeling some kind of way to do that.
- 36:44Speaker 5: I like how she says, I want to give him
- 36:45Speaker 5: the benefit of the doubt, So I'm having all of
- 36:48Speaker 5: his text go to my phone.
- 36:50Speaker 14: That is of the doubt, That's what I'm saying.
- 36:52Speaker 5: But verify, Well, Kyle's definitely on your side. So yeah,
- 36:59Speaker 5: I mean if yeah, you said you're spidey senses are tingling,
- 37:01Speaker 5: and that's really all you need. You really don't need
- 37:02Speaker 5: the evidence. The gut knows things.
- 37:05Speaker 3: So let's get Let's get him on the phone. See
- 37:07Speaker 3: who he send the flowers to? Okay, the long romantic flowers.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Do you know this woman's name? You must know her name?
- 37:14Speaker 12: Oh yeah, Paloma Coloma.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Oh okay, that's a beautiful name. All right, hang tight,
- 37:21Speaker 3: are you ready, Colin FuG I'm ready. All right, We're
- 37:23Speaker 3: gonna do this next. War of the Roses continues next

- 37:32Speaker 3: thinks your boyfriend's Gina or Tina, I don't even ask
- 37:34Speaker 3: your boyfriend's name.
- 37:34Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 37:35Speaker 8: Chandler.
- 37:36Speaker 3: You think Chandler is messing around with a woman named
- 37:41Speaker 3: Paloma because you found text messages where they're going back
- 37:44Speaker 3: and forth speaking in Spanish, and you're like, this dude
- 37:47Speaker 3: doesn't know Spanish.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Very weird. Okay, so coylin FuG Are you ready?
- 37:53Speaker 7: I'm ready.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Okay, let's do this. Let's do it, Tina, So you
- 37:56Speaker 1: hang tight, find out what's going on.
- 38:15Speaker 6: Hell, Hi, there is Chandler available, speaking perfect Hi Chandler.
- 38:20Speaker 6: So my name is Hazel. I'm with a new company
- 38:22Speaker 6: called J n R Flowers.
- 38:24Speaker 7: This is so cool.
- 38:25Speaker 6: So we have this social media campaign where you've been
- 38:28Speaker 6: chosen to be a micro influencer.
- 38:30Speaker 7: Here's what this means for you, because you're like, what
- 38:31Speaker 7: is happening.
- 38:32Speaker 6: You actually get to send our most romantic bouquet of roses.
- 38:35Speaker 6: They are long stem red roses. They come in a
- 38:37Speaker 6: beautiful vase. They kind of make anybody swoon, And this
- 38:40Speaker 6: is totally free for you. We're just kind of asking
- 38:43Speaker 6: that you help spread the word and post about us
- 38:45Speaker 6: on whichever social media platform.
- 38:46Speaker 14: You use the most.
- 38:49Speaker 8: Well, like, I'm not going to get rid over a
- 38:52Speaker 8: credit card or anything like that, an't I?
- 38:54Speaker 6: No, I actually won't get any personal information from you.
- 38:58Speaker 14: Really.
- 38:58Speaker 6: The only information I do need from you is I'm
- 39:00Speaker 6: gonna send the roses out with a nice little card,
- 39:02Speaker 6: and I always just say, this is your chance to
- 39:04Speaker 6: personalize it, so you can get as personal as you want.
- 39:06Speaker 6: I have kind of heard all types of messages during
- 39:08Speaker 6: this campaign. But if you let me know the message
- 39:11Speaker 6: you want on the card, we can go name address
- 39:13Speaker 6: and I'll.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Actually give you a time they'll be delivered.
- 39:16Speaker 8: Uh, all right, it's free, sure, yeah?
- 39:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:20Speaker 6: And then I will, you know, go over our social
- 39:22Speaker 6: media handles and stuff like that, just in case you know,
- 39:24Speaker 6: you do want to post about how great your experience was.
- 39:27Speaker 8: Sure, I get it. Put on. Uh, it's actually gonna

- 39:40Speaker 6: To spell that one. I don't really know, you know, cookito, okay?
- 39:44Speaker 6: So and then anything else after that? No, that that's it, okay,
- 39:51Speaker 6: so obviously, and then do you want like, uh, what
- 39:54Speaker 6: sort of salutation to the end. You want like a

- 39:58Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, uh please? Yeah?
- 40:01Speaker 1: Perfect?
- 40:02Speaker 6: Okay, and I just need to know who to address

- 40:08Speaker 8: Yeah, Paloma? Is that? Well? Keina, bro?
- 40:17Speaker 11: Could you do this to me? Seriously? I'm six of

- 40:35Speaker 8: It's not what you think, Jesus, exactly what I feel.
- 40:39Speaker 11: You've been testing this woman day and night in Spanish.

- 41:21Speaker 8: Why who cares?
- 41:23Speaker 3: What?
- 41:24Speaker 8: Oh my god?
- 41:25Speaker 12: You sent her money, didn't you?

- 44:13Speaker 5: What.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he likes the barber here. Yeah, to get a

- 44:17Speaker 5: Dad must be a great barber.
- 44:19Speaker 1: I know.

- 46:53Speaker 3: they only serve one thing.
- 46:55Speaker 12: What Yeah, yeah, tacos are bombed, man.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Yeah, my uncle told me all. My uncle told me
- 47:00Speaker 3: that there's a huge line.
- 47:02Speaker 1: He says. They're not that good, he said, but it's
- 47:05Speaker 1: cheap and easy to make.
- 47:07Speaker 18: Yeah, they have I think a couple of different restaurants now,
- 47:09Speaker 18: but the original one Chico Sasos. Man, the slatos are bombs,
- 47:14Speaker 18: you know.
- 47:14Speaker 3: The way my uncle described it to me, which, by
- 47:17Speaker 3: the way, the way he described me, I think they
- 47:18Speaker 3: sound delicious reminds me of the Jack in the Box tacos.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah right, and to me, the jack.
- 47:25Speaker 18: In like a tomato sauce.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Really good.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I've heard about those, man.
- 47:29Speaker 18: Well, thank Kobe, you guys, Yep, they have a good one.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Zer b Megan, Where do you drive? Tune for? What? So?
- 47:37Speaker 20: I like to sometimes go to California. I'll drive to
- 47:40Speaker 20: California to see shows that haven't come here, Like I
- 47:43Speaker 20: went and saw MCR who's now coming here, And last
- 47:47Speaker 20: year I saw Chapel Rone And there's a new festival
- 47:51Speaker 20: that Olivia Rodrigo just announced yesterday that I'd like to
- 47:55Speaker 20: go drive and see. But I said I wasn't going
- 47:57Speaker 20: to spend any more money on concerts, but have do.
- 48:00Speaker 20: She's going to be there, Chapel's going to be there,
- 48:02Speaker 20: Olivia Rodrito, people are going to be there. So I
- 48:06Speaker 20: feel like I need to drive over and see that.
- 48:09Speaker 1: And all the proceeds go to charities for women.
- 48:14Speaker 5: Meghan's going. She said she's not going to, but she is.
- 48:17Speaker 7: Yeah, you haven't. It's twenty ninth, to save us. Just
- 48:20Speaker 7: do it.
- 48:21Speaker 1: It's a big concert.
- 48:21Speaker 5: Don't miss the tickets.
- 48:23Speaker 12: Go and tell the presells tomorrow, Megan.
- 48:26Speaker 1: I feel like I'm listening to the Megan radio station.
- 48:31Speaker 20: I was the radio person. It'd be fun.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Well, good luck, thanks for listening, tom Where do you
- 48:36Speaker 1: drive to him?
- 48:36Speaker 18: For what? Buddy? I'll take the whole family from Mesa
- 48:40Speaker 18: just to go to Flagstaff for Mama's Burger.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know that. I was just there.
- 48:47Speaker 5: Tell us about that.
- 48:48Speaker 18: They might have closed recently, but they were there for
- 48:51Speaker 18: years and years. It's on your way up to snow
- 48:52Speaker 18: a Bolt.
- 48:54Speaker 1: There's a place in pine Top called Mama's. Not really anywhere.
- 48:59Speaker 18: Since you since you've made breaking up pine Top. We're
- 49:02Speaker 18: driven there numerous times just to go get breakfast at
- 49:05Speaker 18: Darby Darby Derbyby.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew Derby when she first opening. She's twenty
- 49:11Speaker 3: one years old now, I mean it's the places is
- 49:14Speaker 3: just fantastic. Yeah, Tom, I'm in love with your voice.
- 49:18Speaker 18: Man, definitely have a face for radio.
- 49:22Speaker 1: All right, brother, thanks for thanks for listening. Man, thanks
- 49:24Speaker 1: for calling in. Brother. Well that was fun.

- 49:40Speaker 2: four hosts and a whole lot of fun. Eats, John
- 49:45Speaker 2: Jay and Rich.
- 49:45Speaker 3: We're gonna play game for Nile tickets. But according to Nick,
- 49:49Speaker 3: who's hosting the game, this is Toy Story related.
- 49:52Speaker 5: It is.
- 49:52Speaker 2: It's Toy Story theme.
- 49:53Speaker 1: David, good morning, Good morning.
- 49:55Speaker 3: David's our contestant for Nile tickets. You sell like a
- 49:58Speaker 3: Nile fan.
- 50:00Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 50:02Speaker 2: I agree, it is crazy. Nile's crazy. You know what
- 50:07Speaker 2: else is crazy? You guys when I just make stuff up. Yeah,
- 50:11Speaker 2: we're playing realer fake today and it's the actors and
- 50:14Speaker 2: actresses of the Toy Story franchise. I'm gonna give you
- 50:18Speaker 2: the name of the actor, the name of the character
- 50:20Speaker 2: they played it's either real or fake. You have to
- 50:23Speaker 2: tell me which is which. Okay, all right, we're gonna
- 50:25Speaker 2: start with John Jay. John Jay. Conan O'Brien played Smarty Pants.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Real or fake. Wow, that is really good a man, real.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Survey says real. Way to go, John Jay. Yeah, it's
- 50:42Speaker 2: in the Toy Story. Actually a huge part in Toy Story.
- 50:45Speaker 7: Five is the other one?
- 50:48Speaker 1: No?
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah, this is as far as I know his first
- 50:51Speaker 2: voice voice acting role. Okay, John Jay on the board
- 50:55Speaker 2: one point. Rich Selena Gomez played the Orange marker.
- 51:00Speaker 5: Hmmm, I believe that is not real. Fake.
- 51:05Speaker 2: You're gonna go with fake fake? Okay, final answer is
- 51:07Speaker 2: fake and you would be correct. Way to go, Rich,
- 51:11Speaker 2: That is one I just made up. Or move on
- 51:13Speaker 2: now to Peyton. Peyton, can you tell me if Olivia
- 51:17Speaker 2: Brodrigo played juke Box Jewels and remember this spans the
- 51:23Speaker 2: entire franchise, not just the Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 14: I feel like that would be a big, big deal.
- 51:30Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go fake fake, not even a cameo. Huh,
- 51:34Speaker 2: not even a cam not even a cameo is correct. Yeah,
- 51:36Speaker 2: that's one I just made up.
- 51:37Speaker 14: Okay, definitely wouldn't been the Toy Story franchise if Olivia
- 51:40Speaker 14: Rodrigo did it first.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Oh, he said, the whole franchise, so she would have
- 51:43Speaker 1: been born.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Yet Yeah, for the first year, she wouldn't even have
- 51:47Speaker 2: been here, all right, So way to go. Peyton were
- 51:51Speaker 2: three for three thus far, Kyle. Did Bill Hayter play
- 51:56Speaker 2: Alex or excuse me, Axel the Carnie?
- 52:00Speaker 7: Hmmm, I'm gonna say, yeah, sure, real you think so?
- 52:05Speaker 7: Bill Hater's great at this stuff.
- 52:07Speaker 2: And you would be correct. Yeah, toy Story three. Bill
- 52:11Speaker 2: Hayter had a small cameo in that, so good job Kyle.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Four for four, and now we move on. It's David's turn.
- 52:18Speaker 2: David tell me this. Did Michael Keaton play Barbie's booboo Ken?
- 52:28Speaker 5: I gotta say two?
- 52:32Speaker 13: Real?
- 52:32Speaker 2: We were looking for real? Nice job, unprecedented game five
- 52:39Speaker 2: for five thus far. Moving into round two, we'll start
- 52:42Speaker 2: things off with John Jay speaking of Ken. Did Jody
- 52:48Speaker 2: Benson of a Little Mermaid fame? Did she play Barbie?
- 52:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, yes, real, do you think so?
- 52:54Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 52:54Speaker 2: Okay, good job, Yeah, that's ride. We're six for six
- 52:57Speaker 2: us far, I mean just toy story experts in the room.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Rich Betty White played Bity White.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Bity White, well, like a like a toy tooth or something,
- 53:11Speaker 5: because people love children, love playing with teeth. Betty White
- 53:14Speaker 5: played Bitity White.
- 53:15Speaker 2: No, that's fake and for the first time today we
- 53:19Speaker 2: have incorrect. I'm sorry. All right, here we go. Peyton
- 53:27Speaker 2: bad Bunny. Did he play pizza with sunglasses?
- 53:33Speaker 14: That is real?
- 53:34Speaker 2: That is real? Yeah?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Nice fun cameo and Toy Story five.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Okay, Kyle Kelly kite Glider was played by Ariana Grande.
- 53:47Speaker 7: That is fake.
- 53:48Speaker 2: M Yeah, you're right, Yeah, that is fake. That's when
- 53:51Speaker 2: I just made up. Finally, we'll award you some Nile
- 53:54Speaker 2: Horn tickets here or excuse me, David, if you can
- 53:57Speaker 2: get this one right. Keanu Reeve played Duke Kaboom.
- 54:03Speaker 8: Oh my gosh, real, it's real and you're gonna congratulations David.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, hold on, David. Thanks. May twenty seven, toych
- 54:17Speaker 1: Story number one movie at the box office. I think
- 54:19Speaker 1: it broke all kinds of records, right, And who saw
- 54:21Speaker 1: it this review?
- 54:23Speaker 20: I did?
- 54:23Speaker 1: You did?
- 54:24Speaker 2: Kyle and Kyton?
- 54:25Speaker 5: I did?
- 54:26Speaker 1: Okay, and I.
- 54:27Speaker 14: Thought it was so cute. I saw it last night
- 54:30Speaker 14: with my family. We did it for Father's Day, and
- 54:32Speaker 14: it was so nostalgic, but there was also so many
- 54:35Speaker 14: laugh out loud moments. There were so many nods to
- 54:39Speaker 14: all of the other movies as well, And I mean,
- 54:41Speaker 14: I feel like it was me and like everyone else
- 54:43Speaker 14: in the theater was waiting for when the Taylor Swift
- 54:46Speaker 14: song was gonna play. Did you feel that way, Kyle?
- 54:48Speaker 14: Were you like waiting for when they were gonna.
- 54:50Speaker 6: I was actually waiting because there were some theories that
- 54:53Speaker 6: she was actually going to play one of the characters,
- 54:56Speaker 6: and so I was like really listening hard to all
- 54:58Speaker 6: of the support characters.
- 55:00Speaker 7: Would be like, was that Taylor shit? That definitely wasn't Tailings,
- 55:02Speaker 7: And she didn't. She didn't.
- 55:04Speaker 6: And then I knew the song was at the end credits,
- 55:06Speaker 6: So I think I already knew it was at the end,
- 55:08Speaker 6: so I was definitely expecting that, but I was expecting it.
- 55:11Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 55:12Speaker 6: I think I was expecting like an end credits scene
- 55:14Speaker 6: that it was going to go with at.
- 55:16Speaker 14: The very end, and oh, right, well, because there was
- 55:18Speaker 14: a second scene after the credits with all the buzzes.
- 55:23Speaker 7: Oh I didn't see that.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so that was the mid credits. There was also
- 55:26Speaker 2: an end credits scene as well.
- 55:28Speaker 15: That one.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Yeah, really really, it was really short, not not anything
- 55:32Speaker 2: that impacted the story. I also was waiting for Taylor
- 55:35Speaker 2: Swith's voice. I didn't think it would play because I
- 55:38Speaker 2: thought if it played during the movie, it would be
- 55:40Speaker 2: like too distracting. I thought like people would be like, oh,
- 55:42Speaker 2: there it is, It's finally here, and it would take
- 55:44Speaker 2: away from the plot a little bit. But if i'm
- 55:48Speaker 2: if I'm ranking and I sat down and really thought
- 55:51Speaker 2: about this, I think it's number three for me in
- 55:53Speaker 2: the franchise. Oh really yeah, yeah, I mean I think
- 55:57Speaker 2: you could argue that all five are maybe in my
- 55:59Speaker 2: ten animated movies of all time. But it just like overall,
- 56:05Speaker 2: like it was emotional. It was funny, Like my wife
- 56:08Speaker 2: cried a whole bunch of times. I also cried a
- 56:11Speaker 2: couple of times.
- 56:11Speaker 6: So it was it was emotional and it was Yeah,
- 56:15Speaker 6: I loved it.
- 56:16Speaker 7: It was so cute.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Is this emotional? Like, if you were to tell me,
- 56:18Speaker 1: why is emotional? Is that a spoiler?
- 56:21Speaker 20: No?
- 56:21Speaker 7: I don't think so. I don't think there's really spoiler.
- 56:24Speaker 6: I mean the whole the whole movie you can kind
- 56:25Speaker 6: of tell in the previews, is about like technology taking
- 56:28Speaker 6: over and like kind of stealing children's childhoods. And so
- 56:32Speaker 6: it is like it is kind of like emotional, especially
- 56:34Speaker 6: when you're a parent, but like Peyton would be interesting
- 56:36Speaker 6: to hear from you, Like as a parent, I was
- 56:38Speaker 6: like looking over at my kids and I'm like, I
- 56:39Speaker 6: don't want you to have any tablets, any of the
- 56:42Speaker 6: stuff anymore.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You know, is a tablet a jerk or something like that.
- 56:46Speaker 6: I mean, the tablet does become the nemesis at one
- 56:48Speaker 6: point in the movie.
- 56:50Speaker 2: It's the via it is villain at one po I
- 56:52Speaker 2: think the technology overall is Yeah, I don't know that
- 56:57Speaker 2: that you can point to one specific character.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Is Andy still? It is he like in his fifties?
- 57:02Speaker 14: No, Andy is like this is Bonnie's trilogy.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Oh, I don't remember.
- 57:06Speaker 2: I was funny cameos at the beginning because they kind
- 57:09Speaker 2: of give you a recap of where we've been and
- 57:12Speaker 2: where where we're going.
- 57:13Speaker 14: And Andy is perfectly fine.
- 57:15Speaker 5: Okay.
- 57:16Speaker 6: I do love that, like it is it is Jesse's story.
- 57:19Speaker 6: But Buzz and Whatdy like they like just there back
- 57:23Speaker 6: and forth or arguing in their relationship.
- 57:25Speaker 7: It's just it's so funny.
- 57:27Speaker 14: And I truly loved the Jesse and the buzz storyline,
- 57:31Speaker 14: Like I knew that was coming when I saw the
- 57:32Speaker 14: music video for the Taylor Swift song, but I felt
- 57:35Speaker 14: like that song should have played when Jesse went back
- 57:38Speaker 14: to the tree. I felt like I would have cried
- 57:40Speaker 14: in that moment if I heard the Taylor Swift song.
- 57:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I wouldn't have been disappointed if it were part.
- 57:45Speaker 14: Of that actually, cause it reminded me of the part
- 57:47Speaker 14: like in Toy Story two, and it's like when Somebody
- 57:49Speaker 14: loves Me that song with Jesse, Like, yeah, you cried
- 57:52Speaker 14: during that part. So I thought they were totally gonna
- 57:54Speaker 14: do it there.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Very wise, Peyton, very wise, it's John Jay and Rich.
- 57:59Speaker 2: In the Eternal Morning Show Supremacy. We are one of them.
- 58:06Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Kyle had an interesting take on technology.
- 58:11Speaker 6: Because I think Dropbox did me dirty Dropbox. Yeah, So
- 58:15Speaker 6: we were doing videos to send to like potential partners,
- 58:18Speaker 6: like if you want to advertise on this ratio, which
- 58:20Speaker 6: is a pretty powerful advertising tool, we would love for
- 58:24Speaker 6: that to happen, and there's specific people that we wanted
- 58:26Speaker 6: to reach out to.
- 58:27Speaker 7: So I did.
- 58:30Speaker 1: What we love that.
- 58:32Speaker 14: I did a.
- 58:32Speaker 6: Video and I had to send it to our salesperson
- 58:35Speaker 6: so that they could share it with this potential client.
- 58:39Speaker 7: And I was like, I can't send this.
- 58:41Speaker 6: I can't send this because she asked for a dropbox
- 58:44Speaker 6: link and when I texted it to Scott to make
- 58:47Speaker 6: sure that the dropbox link worked before I sent it,
- 58:51Speaker 6: the thumbnail is really scary, and I'm like, I can't
- 58:56Speaker 6: send this to her because then this is the first thing,
- 58:59Speaker 6: this is my first first impression that this potential client
- 59:02Speaker 6: is going to see, and it's so bad.
- 59:04Speaker 7: Look at this.
- 59:07Speaker 6: I look psycho, I look like a person who I am,
- 59:11Speaker 6: But I don't need to people know that right away.
- 59:14Speaker 20: I can't that.
- 59:15Speaker 7: You don't look ugly, I look scary.
- 59:19Speaker 6: You look strange and intimidating, And like, who is this person?
- 59:21Speaker 7: And why would I even want to open up this link?
- 59:23Speaker 1: As a fan of Kyle, I have yet to see
- 59:25Speaker 1: an unattractive photo.
- 59:26Speaker 5: But it doesn't look like it does. Look like you're
- 59:28Speaker 5: coming after somebody your.
- 59:29Speaker 14: Giving if you know, you know.
- 59:35Speaker 7: When I look at this picture, this is what I think.
- 59:42Speaker 6: So and then I went to chat EPT and I
- 59:45Speaker 6: was like, hey, how can I change the thumbnail that
- 59:48Speaker 6: dropped buck sense?
- 59:49Speaker 7: That's not an option, it's just can't.
- 59:52Speaker 1: So what did you do?
- 59:53Speaker 7: Give it an option? So I chose a completely different
- 59:56Speaker 7: file sharing method.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Oh you didn't send to drop box just because of
- 59:59Speaker 1: the co No, I.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Did not send that. You only get one chance in
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: a first impression.
- 1:00:06Speaker 14: And this ain't it so bad?
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: Oh? Man?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: The drop Fox league.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Also side note, we finally got a love Pup vehicle.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: It's a van.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: It's a transit van. It's a really cool it's a
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: really cool van. It's a In fact, I'll post a
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: video of it because we got delivered to our house
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: and we need to wrap it. And I remember the
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: last time we got a vehicle. We I went on
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: there and asked for people to help wrap it and
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: we had a couple of companies reach out. So if
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: you have a company and you like to donate to
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: a dog rescue and wrap our van with love pop
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: logos on it and stuff or something make it really cool,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: that'd be really neat.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: If you can go, shoot me a DM on my Instagram.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: John J. Van s on Instagram, that would be cool. Oh,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: by the way, did you see I got the Bieber hoodie? Yes?
- 1:00:50Speaker 14: I did.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Did you see that Peyton, Yeah, the one from Coachella
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: look Out one shut up.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I was doing an unboxing at Richmond. You said, hey,
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: do the unboxings of everything that comes to your house.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: So I legitimately took boxes, had no idea what they were,
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: and I was opening one was like the first one
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: I opened up was Creatine and then I grabbed this bag.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: I rip it open and it's the the Justin Bieber hoodie.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: How exciting it was.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: It was a really exciting moment, which is funny because
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: it's like I was acting as if as if I
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: got it.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: For free, but I didn't. I paid two hundred dollars
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for the SUPERD hoodie.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: That's what's great about when you have to wait for
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: something forever. It's a surprise.
- 1:01:26Speaker 14: Where did you get it? How did you get it?
- 1:01:29Speaker 14: It was like sold out everywhere. Yeah, I tried to
- 1:01:31Speaker 14: get that hoodie. I wanted that. Don't wear it. I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 14: gonna be so sick every time you wear it. I'm
- 1:01:37Speaker 14: just gonna be side eyeing you the whole time.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: Or she's just like, rip it off.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: So you can see.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: So go to my instagram and shoot me a dam
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: if you could wrap our van, and also go to
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: my instagram to watch me open up the Justin bieber Hoodie.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Broadcasting live across the world right now. This is the
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich radio program
