  Speaker 1: time right now for today's word. God has a great

  Speaker 1: plan for your future. Genesis fifteen thirteen through fourteen says

  Speaker 1: Then the Lord said to Abraham, know for certain that

  Speaker 1: for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: a country not their own, and that they will be
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: enslaved and mistreated there, and afterwards they will come out
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: with great possessions. God told Abraham that he had a
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: four hundred year strategy for his family. When the Israelites
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: came out of Egyptian slavery loaded down with treasures, it
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: looked as though God had just suddenly decided to bless them. No, no,
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: this was already lined up four hundred years before. This
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: was God feeling a promise that he made to Abraham.

  Speaker 1: I'm sure during the time that they were enslaved, it
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: seem like the promise would never happen. But the truth
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: is He even sustained them during the worst times of
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: their lives. But their story didn't end in slavery. Because
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: God keeps his promises. He brought them out of slavery,
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: turned around the injustice blessed them and then thrust them
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: into their purpose in the Promised Land. I know it's
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: easy to worry about how problems are gonna work out tomorrow,
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: But the word of God even warns us in Matthew
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: six point thirty four. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow,
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: trouble of its own. This verse encourages us to focus
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: on the present and trusting God to provide for the future.

  Speaker 1: He has a great plan for our lives. I know

  Speaker 1: uncertainty can bring anxiety and cause us to live stressed
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: out and uptight. We look at things in the short term.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: But God has been working on his plan for your
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: life for generations, long before you were born. He's been
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: lining up what you need, arranging things to fall into
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: place so you can fulfill your purpose. God was thinking
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: of you hundreds of years ago, working on your behalf
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: generations back. He was bringing everything into alignment, the right people,
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: a good breaks, favor, solutions to problems, mercy from mistakes. See,

  Speaker 1: God has a great plan for your future and mine.

  Speaker 1: Oh Father, God, thank you that you've been working your
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: plan for our lives for generations. Thank you that we
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: can stay in peace knowing that you're working behind the
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: scenes and directing our outcomes. Help us God to be
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: patient and know that you're bringing us and to our
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: purpose in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today.

  Speaker 1: Take it, apply it to your everyday life, and you
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: continue to be encouraged and inspired. It's your early body
• 3:11
