- 1:13Speaker 3: as well, you know, you can pick that up right

- 1:17Speaker 3: which rouses you're going to pick up. You know, all

- 1:22Speaker 3: always right at the door when you walk in, so
- 1:24Speaker 3: you can check out all those specials they have going on.
- 1:27Speaker 3: All right, let's go around the college football world and
- 1:31Speaker 3: let's look at some of the top games what they
- 1:33Speaker 3: might mean to the conversation here in a couple of weeks.
- 1:37Speaker 3: And this is always a fun game to play. When
- 1:38Speaker 3: hell she was undefeated and in the hunt, it's always
- 1:41Speaker 3: a little.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Bit more fun.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Everything's more fun.
- 1:44Speaker 3: All right, Let's look at Texas Tech traveling to take
- 1:47Speaker 3: on the Utah Utes. This is listen to this this
- 1:51Speaker 3: game locally, so for Utah is going to be a
- 1:54Speaker 3: ten am kickoff because of big noon kick, right, so
- 2:00Speaker 3: you got to have it at twelve eastern, So it's
- 2:02Speaker 3: gonna be a ten am local time kick.
- 2:04Speaker 4: So I'm not.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Sure what juices you can get going there at Utah
- 2:09Speaker 3: at Rice Ecle Stadium, But ten am kick locally, but
- 2:12Speaker 3: they didn't have.
- 2:13Speaker 2: To be so literal with the big noon. It could
- 2:15Speaker 2: be like noon whatever, that could be big news noon
- 2:19Speaker 2: that time zone. I think people would get it. I'd
- 2:21Speaker 2: get it. Yeah, So I mean that's uh. We've been
- 2:24Speaker 2: in those games too. The ten AM games stak.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they're brutal.
- 2:27Speaker 2: They are the worst. I mean even eleven.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Conference opponents and that fun. It sucks.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Eleven AM is bad enough in the NFL. I didn't
- 2:37Speaker 2: like the noon games. No, I'm not you know, you
- 2:41Speaker 2: guys know I'm not a morning person.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Yeah, we're getting you there, We're getting there here, getting
- 2:45Speaker 4: you there.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I'm not a morning persons. Just take a morning.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Radio gig yep, and turns out it sounds logic.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I know who did were? Hey, there's no more sleepy
- 2:54Speaker 4: in your eyes?
- 2:55Speaker 3: When when when I show up used to like first
- 2:57Speaker 3: couple of weeks it was like, oh man, is he?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Is he there? And I still haven't changed my nighttime routine.
- 3:03Speaker 4: No, no, no, you've just rewired myself. So what you have
- 3:06Speaker 4: to do?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Who needs sleep?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Sleep when you're dead. Joey Hester said that.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I do love sleep though, Maybe that's why it looks
- 3:13Speaker 2: so youthful. But doing this job maybe all age faster.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I don't know if I'd go that far. All right,
- 3:18Speaker 3: So Texas Tech in Utah number sixteen, Utah number seventeen,
- 3:21Speaker 3: Texas Tech. This this is big because I mean it's
- 3:25Speaker 3: gonna put you, maybe not in the driver's seat by yourself,
- 3:29Speaker 3: but the winner of this will be with Iowa State
- 3:31Speaker 3: as the leaders in the clubhouse for the Big Twelve.
- 3:34Speaker 3: And as we all know, the Big Twelve gets an
- 3:36Speaker 3: automatic playoff spot for their champion. These two teams look
- 3:40Speaker 3: like they can't be championship caliber in the Big Twelve,
- 3:43Speaker 3: and I would say this game it might be more
- 3:45Speaker 3: important for Texas Tech. They put a lot of dollars
- 3:49Speaker 3: and cents into their roster right to compete for championships
- 3:52Speaker 3: and to play in a Big Twelve championship game like
- 3:55Speaker 3: Utah's been there, done that, Like Utah outside of last year,
- 3:58Speaker 3: has been a very consistent program.
- 4:00Speaker 4: For Texas Tech, it's like.
- 4:02Speaker 3: What's your ROI like, right, what do we got to
- 4:06Speaker 3: see sending some dollars? Yes, as much almost as anybody.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, And they've done a really good job. And that's
- 4:12Speaker 2: why I think the whole fan base for Texas Tech
- 4:14Speaker 2: is it was so excited and the media was kind
- 4:18Speaker 2: of on them a little bit. I think this is
- 4:20Speaker 2: their opportunity to potentially vie for a conference championship. Finally,
- 4:27Speaker 2: I think it has been a long time. I think
- 4:29Speaker 2: it's been since nineteen ninety six since they've won a
- 4:33Speaker 2: conference championship, and I believe that was the Southwest Conference.
- 4:38Speaker 3: So I say that because they're a little doe.
- 4:41Speaker 2: They've had some great teams, they've had some great moments,
- 4:43Speaker 2: but in this NIO world, they can compete because of
- 4:46Speaker 2: the money that they have and the willingness and the Androly.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Hasn't probably a lot desire to be good.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, the desire and the willingness of people to give
- 4:54Speaker 2: that money is probably because they haven't won a conference
- 4:56Speaker 2: championship since nineteen ninety six. So and we've seen it
- 5:01Speaker 2: with him, we've seen it in softball. How much do
- 5:02Speaker 2: they pay pay that that picture for.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That as Kennedy got over a million? Yeah, a little
- 5:08Speaker 3: bit over a million dollars and they made it to
- 5:10Speaker 3: the college football final or sorry, softball final. They're in
- 5:14Speaker 3: Oklahoma City.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah. So uh that Texas Tech was my my pick
- 5:18Speaker 2: to win the Big Twelve this year. So I'm going
- 5:20Speaker 2: to continue to ride that train, and I think that
- 5:23Speaker 2: they I think they win the game. I think they
- 5:25Speaker 2: got a lot of talent there. I think pretty just
- 5:29Speaker 2: good top to bottom team. I hadn't watched a ton
- 5:31Speaker 2: of them, but I've kind of kept up with their
- 5:33Speaker 2: stats and everything. So their quarterbacks, almost.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Ten quarterbacks playing really really well.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Right, he's almost topped one thousand yards. He's got a
- 5:39Speaker 2: ninety one point eight ESPN.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Q eleven tudds.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I believe a year eleven, ninety one point eight espn
- 5:44Speaker 2: Q rating's pretty pretty darn good.
- 5:47Speaker 3: So that's going to be a big game to you know,
- 5:49Speaker 3: put you as I said with Iowa State, I think
- 5:51Speaker 3: right there driver's seat in the big twelve, So certainly
- 5:54Speaker 3: want to pay attention to. And it's going to be
- 5:56Speaker 3: that early kick and really the only game in the
- 5:59Speaker 3: early window, as we talked about yesterday, that moves the
- 6:01Speaker 3: needle at all.
- 6:02Speaker 4: So we'll see.
- 6:03Speaker 3: If Texas Tech and get it done on the road
- 6:05Speaker 3: against the utah Utes.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Hey take a look at this picture right here, So
- 6:08Speaker 2: let's just be real quick of this Texas Tech quarterback.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It's a zoomed in picture. Anythink you noticed there the
- 6:13Speaker 2: way he's holding that ball.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Uh, his on his thumb is on the laces, not
- 6:20Speaker 3: his fingers.
- 6:21Speaker 2: He's thrown without the LASiS, which is wild. So let's
- 6:23Speaker 2: take a look for that. Guys.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Anyway, is that not allowed at all? It's like a big,
- 6:28Speaker 3: big no.
- 6:28Speaker 2: No, it's just strange, like willingly thrown without the laces.
- 6:32Speaker 3: What if he was throwing just like a smoke and
- 6:33Speaker 3: he had to like get it in and grip it
- 6:35Speaker 3: and get it out.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Could be what happens when that happens. Do you have
- 6:40Speaker 4: to get the laces?
- 6:40Speaker 2: Then? Yeah, you would, you would? Uh, you just thought.
- 6:44Speaker 3: However, you don't judge bug bites cover flud.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Oh, I only got one picture to judge bout, so
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Do it all right.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Let's go to the game of the week in the SEC,
- 6:54Speaker 3: and that is Oklahoma and Auburn. Is gonna be a
- 6:57Speaker 3: three thirty Eastern time kick over on ABC so two
- 7:00Speaker 3: here Central time. This is Look, this is an intriguing game.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Last year, this was just a dirty game. It was
- 7:08Speaker 3: just kind of mucky all game long. Oklahoma makes a
- 7:10Speaker 3: play to win the game. But now I think both
- 7:13Speaker 3: teams are better. Oklahoma's offense is certainly better. I think
- 7:16Speaker 3: Auburn overall is better. Jackson and Arnold is playing now
- 7:19Speaker 3: for the Auburn Tigers. Last year, he was the starting
- 7:21Speaker 3: quarterback for most of the year for, as y'all know,
- 7:23Speaker 3: the Oklahoma Sooners, So there's that intrigue in this matchup
- 7:27Speaker 3: as well.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to this one.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I don't know how this one's going to play out,
- 7:32Speaker 3: but I think it's going to be a highly contested
- 7:34Speaker 3: football game. I think John Mytier is going to have
- 7:37Speaker 3: his toughest test to date. Let's see if he can
- 7:39Speaker 3: continue to roll on down the road. Both teams have
- 7:42Speaker 3: been physical in the first three games that we've seen
- 7:45Speaker 3: them play. I'm looking forward to this one. I don't know,
- 7:47Speaker 3: Like the number was six and a half for the Sooners.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Now it's up to seven and a half. I'm a
- 7:53Speaker 3: little bit surprised by that number.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm surprised that they hadn't tightened up a little bit.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I think it's probably the emergence of John Mattia this year.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I guess I could say emergence, but we knew he
- 8:01Speaker 2: was a good player, but being at a different school
- 8:03Speaker 2: and playing the well that we didn't know if he
- 8:05Speaker 2: could translate. Obviously, we still don't know if it's going
- 8:09Speaker 2: to translate to the SEC, but we're pretty pretty sure
- 8:11Speaker 2: it is going to. So that starts this week to
- 8:13Speaker 2: see if what he brings to the table that move
- 8:16Speaker 2: from Wazoo to Oklahoma, if it's going to continue and
- 8:19Speaker 2: his Heisman campaign continues. But each of these teams, Auburn
- 8:23Speaker 2: and Oklahoma both have one really good win on their schedule.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Auburn b Baylor in that opener. Oklahoma beat Michigan twenty
- 8:29Speaker 2: four to thirteen, so they got one good win. And
- 8:33Speaker 2: they both have one or two purple jersey games, so
- 8:37Speaker 2: whatever their colors are, so we'll see this is kind
- 8:40Speaker 2: of rubber meets the road for them in SEC play. Excited.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I just I'm intrigued by just the the side stories
- 8:51Speaker 2: to this of Jackson arnold potential fringe story come in
- 8:55Speaker 2: full circle. A team that he started for for most
- 8:58Speaker 2: of the season got benched, trans it has the opportunity
- 9:02Speaker 2: to go in there and they're at home it used
- 9:05Speaker 2: to be your home and win a game. So what
- 9:08Speaker 2: an opportunity for him, What an opportunity for Materier. It's
- 9:11Speaker 2: just a lot of good storylines coming out of this
- 9:13Speaker 2: game and the best game in the SEC, so we're
- 9:15Speaker 2: going to be locked in. I'm very excited to watch
- 9:18Speaker 2: that one play out, just as a football fan and
- 9:20Speaker 2: a fan of people and players and the storylines that
- 9:24Speaker 2: come with the greatest reality show in the world, which
- 9:28Speaker 2: is Live Sports.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's two teams out of the SEC.
- 9:30Speaker 3: We're trying to say are you for real? Are you
- 9:32Speaker 3: for real?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Like?
- 9:33Speaker 4: How good are you?
- 9:34Speaker 3: And I think there's different levels to these teams. I
- 9:36Speaker 3: think oklahoma ceiling is higher than what Auburns can be.
- 9:39Speaker 3: But I do think Auburn right now is playing better
- 9:41Speaker 3: than a lot of people thought they would and let's
- 9:43Speaker 3: see how for real you can be. So certainly, like
- 9:45Speaker 3: I said, when you've got an LSU team that's number
- 9:48Speaker 3: three in the country, you're looking at some of the
- 9:49Speaker 3: teams that you have to play. You don't play Auburn,
- 9:52Speaker 3: but you certainly play Oklahoma's going to be the last
- 9:54Speaker 3: game of the year. That's going to be a road game,
- 9:56Speaker 3: right They're trying to make that a rivalry game, putting
- 9:58Speaker 3: it at the end of the year until we get
- 10:00Speaker 3: a new schedule next year.
- 10:01Speaker 4: So we'll see if.
- 10:02Speaker 3: That continues on but yeah, I think it's a game
- 10:05Speaker 3: that LSU fans certainly can watch and pay attention to
- 10:07Speaker 3: and see what both these teams look like, but certainly
- 10:10Speaker 3: Oklahoma knowing that they are going to be on your
- 10:12Speaker 3: schedule here later on. All right, let's go to two
- 10:14Speaker 3: Lane in Old Miss, the Green Wave traveling down to
- 10:18Speaker 3: take on the traveling up, I should say, to take
- 10:21Speaker 3: on the Old Miss Rebels. This is right now a
- 10:25Speaker 3: thirteen and a half point line in favor of the
- 10:27Speaker 3: Old Miss Rebels. Two Lane has already beaten Northwestern out
- 10:30Speaker 3: of the Big Ten, they put the hammer down on them.
- 10:33Speaker 3: They've beaten Duke out of the ACC the score much
- 10:35Speaker 3: closer than that game actually was. So I think two
- 10:39Speaker 3: Lane's going to be highly competitive in this game throughout.
- 10:42Speaker 3: They've played Old Miss a couple of times recently, and
- 10:44Speaker 3: that's just kind of been the story of that game.
- 10:46Speaker 3: They have been competitive in the it's been like a
- 10:49Speaker 3: play here, a play there. When you're trying to pull
- 10:52Speaker 3: off that upset, it's like, can you make that one play?
- 10:54Speaker 3: You have one opportunity, you have that one moment, and
- 10:57Speaker 3: they haven't been able to get that done. But they've
- 10:59Speaker 3: been in these games in this two Lane team, the
- 11:02Speaker 3: Retz laughter quarterback. They're not backing down from anybody.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:05Speaker 3: You talked to John summerw and I talked to him
- 11:07Speaker 3: earlier this week. This is this is not a situation
- 11:11Speaker 3: where they're going to go in nervous to play Old
- 11:13Speaker 3: Miss and Ole Miss is gonna probably play with their
- 11:15Speaker 3: backup quarterback who played incredible against Arkansas last week. But
- 11:21Speaker 3: I think the Green Wave are going to be in
- 11:22Speaker 3: this game for four quarters.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it kind of depends on how how the game starts.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I think if they can stay in the game and
- 11:30Speaker 2: not do anything silly at the beginning to get behind
- 11:33Speaker 2: the eight ball. Their quarterback, like you said, it, is
- 11:36Speaker 2: playing well leading. I mean he's got five hundred and
- 11:37Speaker 2: twenty two passing yard leading brushing yards at two hundred
- 11:40Speaker 2: and eighty eight. But you know, we'll see a backup
- 11:44Speaker 2: quarterback playing at ole Miss and is that it would
- 11:48Speaker 2: it be his first ever start. I don't know a
- 11:50Speaker 2: lot of information on.
- 11:51Speaker 3: The back of corp pro miss. It started last week
- 11:53Speaker 3: against Arkansas, he started.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Last yeah, yeah, I thought he came in okay, uh yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 2: so we'll see.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Uh.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I think two lane has a really good gritty so
- 12:00Speaker 2: if they can just stay in the game and not
- 12:03Speaker 2: get down by that two three scores early on, I
- 12:06Speaker 2: think it'll be tight. So give to Lane a little
- 12:09Speaker 2: punching puncher's chance there at the end to win it.
- 12:11Speaker 2: We I you know, I usually want the opponents for
- 12:15Speaker 2: LSU to do well before they play LSU or after
- 12:20Speaker 2: they play LSU, because I want that same I want
- 12:23Speaker 2: the resume builder. But it's Dulane, baby, it's Louisiana team.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I want them to go up there.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I do too, and beat the piss out
- 12:31Speaker 3: of it. So same thing, go ahead, and you know,
- 12:33Speaker 3: get their spirit all.
- 12:34Speaker 4: The way down there.
- 12:36Speaker 3: There is no way that I'm doing anything opposite than
- 12:40Speaker 3: hoping tu Lane goes out to Oxford and beats them. Uh,
- 12:44Speaker 3: Michigan in Nebraska in Memorial Stadium. They're in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Michigan still ranked twenty first in the country. Nebraska trying
- 12:53Speaker 3: to prove that you're number three under Matt rule can
- 12:57Speaker 3: continue to be the year he is look year three
- 13:01Speaker 3: a Temple, year three a Baylor. That's when they made
- 13:03Speaker 3: their big stride. Can he do it here at Nebraska.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I don't think Michigan is a great football team. I
- 13:08Speaker 3: think they're a good football team.
- 13:10Speaker 4: You're at home.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Even if I don't think Michigan's great, I know that
- 13:16Speaker 3: they have the wing helmet that everybody recognizes.
- 13:18Speaker 4: It is a brand.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It is a team that won a national championship a
- 13:21Speaker 3: couple of years ago. I say all of that to
- 13:23Speaker 3: say this could go a very long way for the
- 13:27Speaker 3: corn Huskers. They need a win against a brand. Beating
- 13:33Speaker 3: Cincinnati in Arrowhead cool, but.
- 13:36Speaker 4: It's not enough.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Like you gotta get Went, you gotta beat you know,
- 13:40Speaker 3: you gotta beat Penn State, you gotta beat Ohio State,
- 13:42Speaker 3: you gotta beat Michigan, you gotta beat Oregon. If you
- 13:44Speaker 3: want to change the narrative, I'm not saying all those teams,
- 13:47Speaker 3: but you got to get wins against those teams if
- 13:50Speaker 3: you want to change what a lot of people think
- 13:52Speaker 3: you are as a football program, which is a team
- 13:55Speaker 3: that's going to Stottthart, start fast and hard whenever you
- 13:59Speaker 3: play against direct school you But what can you do
- 14:02Speaker 3: against the big boys?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah? For for Matt rule in that program. I mean,
- 14:09Speaker 2: maybe it's just because of our age, when the age
- 14:11Speaker 2: that we grew up as kids watching Tom. To me,
- 14:16Speaker 2: it's like college football is healthy, is better if Nebraska
- 14:22Speaker 2: is good, and maybe maybe the next generation doesn't feel
- 14:25Speaker 2: that way, but oh yeah, something about.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Like my kids probably like you know nothing about Nebraska football,
- 14:32Speaker 3: nothing about it when you and I like we knew
- 14:35Speaker 3: like all the major players because they were some of
- 14:37Speaker 3: the best players in the country.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And just because of Tommy Fraser is the reason why
- 14:42Speaker 2: I always, like, in the back of my mind cheer
- 14:44Speaker 2: for Nebraska at least a little bit, like just come back,
- 14:48Speaker 2: come back to reality a little bit, come back to
- 14:50Speaker 2: being dangerous. And this is one of those.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Not danger Russ, but dangerous.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Don't be danger Russ. Yeah, be dangerous. Yeah yeah, really
- 15:01Speaker 2: good pool.
- 15:01Speaker 3: There, thank you, noble to do that, Yeah, don't do that.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Okay. So this is one of those games that could
- 15:06Speaker 2: be a program uh, could go a long way and
- 15:08Speaker 2: be in a program changer. They probably don't have the
- 15:12Speaker 2: firepower to be a Penn State or Ohio State, but
- 15:15Speaker 2: this year they certainly can pick this game off, especially
- 15:18Speaker 2: at home a little many manyie Patrick Mahomes has got
- 15:22Speaker 2: to play well, and he's been playing pretty well this season. So, uh,
- 15:26Speaker 2: this this game intrigues me just for the sheer fact
- 15:29Speaker 2: that I want Nebraska to be back and not in
- 15:32Speaker 2: like a huge they don't know.
- 15:33Speaker 4: It's a slow process.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And I really do think Matt Rule is a good
- 15:37Speaker 2: program builder in a college level. Yeah, I'm clearly not
- 15:41Speaker 2: with the Panthers, but who is but.
- 15:43Speaker 3: A god, I mean outside of my guy Foxy, who
- 15:45Speaker 3: is seriously pets so that that's a pro football team.
- 15:50Speaker 2: But he did what I mean, what he did at
- 15:51Speaker 2: Baylor was great.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Baylor too, Yeah, I mean, brown stuff was going on
- 15:55Speaker 3: and they were down and out. It was bad, that
- 15:57Speaker 3: bad like that.
- 15:59Speaker 2: After all, Brown saich you that Baylor program could have
- 16:01Speaker 2: spiraled out of control, absolutely out of control. But he
- 16:06Speaker 2: right of the ship. Yeah, sure did a really good job.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So I do think he's that guy. And Nebraska's got
- 16:11Speaker 2: a lot of money and.
- 16:13Speaker 3: A lot of desire to be great, like those fans
- 16:15Speaker 3: want to be great.
- 16:17Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, in the social
- 16:18Speaker 2: media world, it's you know, it's still in Nebraska, so
- 16:21Speaker 2: it's not the most sexy place for a transfer A
- 16:27Speaker 2: guy in the transfer a portal to go to. But
- 16:29Speaker 2: you know, money talks, so if you got money, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 2: people will live anywhere.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But let's go Cornuskers, all right, we got a couple
- 16:37Speaker 3: more games, certainly that we want to break down throughout
- 16:39Speaker 3: the college football slate, and we'll certainly get to those games.
- 16:43Speaker 4: There was one comment inside.
- 16:45Speaker 3: The chat that I wanted to highlight here, and it's
- 16:47Speaker 3: from bo Knows. Sorry I'm late, but just watch a
- 16:49Speaker 3: part of the stream. But have we forgot Key started
- 16:51Speaker 3: versus Florida last year?
- 16:52Speaker 4: He started four games.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I think we all expect expected him to rotate in
- 16:56Speaker 3: this season. I'm on to Mond Keys linebacker for LSU.
- 17:00Speaker 2: No.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I certainly did not forget, and I think part of
- 17:02Speaker 3: what we were talking about earlier we did mention that
- 17:04Speaker 3: Blake Baker loves Keys, like absolutely loves him, one of
- 17:08Speaker 3: the players he like. When I had like one on
- 17:10Speaker 3: one conversations with him in the all season, was probably
- 17:12Speaker 3: the most excited about. Now it is a very tough
- 17:16Speaker 3: room to break into. Now, I would expect devink Keys
- 17:19Speaker 3: to play even more. He played incredible last week against Florida.
- 17:24Speaker 3: He led the team in tackles. He played great against
- 17:26Speaker 3: Florida last year. To your point, I mean he almost
- 17:28Speaker 3: had that interception that might change the game, change the
- 17:31Speaker 3: math of the game and the game flow. There So
- 17:34Speaker 3: no nobody's forgotten about the Vine Keys like that linebacker
- 17:38Speaker 3: room with the Weeks brothers, all three of them with Keys.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Singleton played pretty good when he came in, and then
- 17:43Speaker 3: you throw Harold Perkins in there because Flynn tells me
- 17:45Speaker 3: he's a linebacker and that's how we're going to identify him. Yep,
- 17:48Speaker 3: it's one of the deepest in the Matthew turned this
- 17:54Speaker 3: down there because we had somebody come up to exp
- 17:58Speaker 3: for else's. But no, he's one of the I mean,
- 18:02Speaker 3: it's one of the deepest rooms in the country. So
- 18:05Speaker 3: he is a player certainly that I think is going
- 18:06Speaker 3: to continue to help LSU win football games. He's gonna
- 18:09Speaker 3: play even more. It's just hard to get the rotation
- 18:12Speaker 3: when you have, you know, older guys, older players in
- 18:15Speaker 3: front of him who are playing so well. But yet
- 18:18Speaker 3: the mind Keys has certainly earned some playing time. All right,
- 18:20Speaker 3: we will take a break. We've got more OTB coming
- 18:23Speaker 3: back your way, breaking down some of these games across
- 18:25Speaker 3: college football when we come back here live from Ross
- 18:28Speaker 3: Is on Burbank off the bench. All right, I want
- 18:35Speaker 3: to tell you about a friend over it all Star

- 18:52Speaker 3: you get one choice in each category. When you're renting
- 18:55Speaker 3: a vehicle, you might just have three to choose from.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I can't say how many times I've been on the
- 18:59Speaker 3: road covering games it's like, Okay, which sedan do you want?
- 19:02Speaker 3: It's like, I don't want a sedan. I got a turtleback.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I'm not going to fit in a sedan. I need

- 20:02Speaker 4: All right, welcome back in.

- 20:06Speaker 3: are live here again at Rowse's on Burbanks. So go ahead,
- 20:10Speaker 3: come hang out, come see us. We've already had a
- 20:11Speaker 3: couple of loyal listeners say what's up to us? And
- 20:14Speaker 3: if you're in the area, come stop by and say
- 20:17Speaker 3: what's up, and stop and get your breakfast and stop
- 20:19Speaker 3: and get all your needs. When it comes to tailgating
- 20:22Speaker 3: from Rouse's, get loaded up. All right, let's continue looking
- 20:27Speaker 3: at these your favorite of games.
- 20:29Speaker 4: As Flynn sees a squirrel, what's.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Your favorite thing to throw on a grill?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Like if you're walking, Sausageailgate's just sausage easy.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Like at a tailgate.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It's so easy, Like you do a sausage on the grill,
- 20:40Speaker 3: like a burger's great. It's great, a dog's great, all right, but.
- 20:43Speaker 4: You know you got it. You get it, and you
- 20:45Speaker 4: and you make it like you want to. It's cool.
- 20:47Speaker 3: But it's like sausage is pretty much like walk by.
- 20:50Speaker 3: You can grab it and do.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Just castle free, little little bowl of barbecue sauce, a
- 20:55Speaker 2: little bold mustard, and then everybody's happy at that point, right,
- 20:59Speaker 2: how apino? Maybe a little cheese in there. Maybe it's
- 21:02Speaker 2: what doesn't even really matter, right, I was just thinking,
- 21:04Speaker 2: because we got a little we got a little party
- 21:06Speaker 2: trade right here they give us, and it's got the
- 21:09Speaker 2: jalapeno bacon wrapped kalapenos with the cream.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Cheese jalapena popper hates to see flame coming. Yeah, it's
- 21:15Speaker 3: a bad day to be a This man loves these.
- 21:18Speaker 2: So when I see a grill fired up on those man,
- 21:21Speaker 2: I tend to make my way over there. A lot
- 21:25Speaker 2: of a lot of different tailgates to stop at. But
- 21:26Speaker 2: if they're doing that and they're offering them, they're giving
- 21:29Speaker 2: them out like tik TACs.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I'm in somebody's got to take them. Might as well
- 21:32Speaker 3: be you, might as well be me. Uh can I
- 21:34Speaker 3: borrow one of those? My heis?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta purchase it.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Nope, Oh you just took them off, just tem off
- 21:43Speaker 3: the shelf and then you put them back.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll buy it for you. Yeah, go ahead, which flavor?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Which flavor you want?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Well, look, there's a big high school football game tonight.
- 21:52Speaker 4: I got to make sure my voice traded.
- 21:53Speaker 2: B Yeah, you got to tell me that before Friday.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Oh I told you, yes, which one you want?
- 21:58Speaker 3: What's his favorite? Uh? Any easier and he's here. We're
- 22:01Speaker 3: good figured out you high Catholic tonight here in the
- 22:04Speaker 3: capital city, over a cub complex. Looking forward to that,
- 22:08Speaker 3: a little bit of a Hess bowl. My younger brother
- 22:11Speaker 3: coaches a Catholic. My son starts for you high.
- 22:16Speaker 2: So how's the how's the team looking so far through
- 22:19Speaker 2: the season?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Uh?
- 22:20Speaker 3: One in one played Woodlawn beat them, played Rum on
- 22:24Speaker 3: the dome last week, lost to them thirty to seventeen.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Uh shut up, Stilts whatever, Stokes, both of you.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Not just Craig, Yeah, just Kevin. We're killing just too big,
- 22:36Speaker 2: talk that mess.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Uh So one in one on the year.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I know Catholics too, and oh gosh, I know they've
- 22:42Speaker 3: beat seen Thomas Moore in week number two a week
- 22:44Speaker 3: one to be desterrah hand too. So uh yeah, look,
- 22:47Speaker 3: good game. Gonna be a tough game, but I'm excited
- 22:50Speaker 3: for it. I'm excited. I'm excited that my son gets
- 22:53Speaker 3: to play in a game like this, absolute, you know
- 22:55Speaker 3: what I mean, it's exciting that this big magnitude game
- 22:58Speaker 3: is gonna be sold out. It's gonna be people.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So what's the what's the football field.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Called Cup Complex?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Cup Complex? Right? I called?
- 23:05Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure there's another name, but Cup Complex.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I think Jeff Boss it could be. I'm gonna look
- 23:13Speaker 3: that up. Don't quote me on that. I think it's
- 23:15Speaker 3: I think it's Jeff Boss obviously, near and dear, it's
- 23:17Speaker 3: the LU football program forever.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I got a good friend that can tell us.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Do you think chat TBT knows that?
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah, if it does, that's impressive. Yeah, that's right, very impressive.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I'll let you know.
- 23:29Speaker 3: All right, we still got some other games that I
- 23:31Speaker 3: want to get to before flint Sy's another squirrel. Uh,
- 23:35Speaker 3: South Carolina and Missouri in the SEC. This is going
- 23:39Speaker 3: to be a six pm local time kick over on ESPN.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Missouri nine and a half point favorites in this contest. Now,
- 23:50Speaker 3: the North Sellers is a game time decision. I believe,
- 23:54Speaker 3: I believe the you know, pretty tight lipt here, but
- 23:58Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it was a concussion last week for
- 24:01Speaker 3: Leonora's Seller so he's in concussion protocol.
- 24:04Speaker 4: But Missouri right now nine.
- 24:05Speaker 3: And a half point favorites against South Carolina certainly not
- 24:09Speaker 3: the line we thought would be on that game before
- 24:10Speaker 3: the season. I'm a big believer in Missouri. They've been
- 24:14Speaker 3: kind of the team that I've been trying to champion.
- 24:16Speaker 3: But still I would not think that that line would
- 24:19Speaker 3: ever be right there. We talked a lot about South
- 24:21Speaker 3: Carolina as well. Bo Perbula has been awesome. Yeah, he's
- 24:25Speaker 3: been awesome for Missouri. Running the ball, throwing the ball
- 24:28Speaker 3: through the air. He's got seven ninety one seven touds,
- 24:30Speaker 3: only one interception.
- 24:31Speaker 4: A Mott Hardy who is RB.
- 24:33Speaker 3: One on our field, still all meatthead team over on
- 24:36Speaker 3: off campus. He's got fifty seven carries for four to
- 24:38Speaker 3: sixty two and five touchdowns on the ground. Man, this
- 24:42Speaker 3: Missouri team, and they got a lot of really like strong,
- 24:47Speaker 3: like solid players at the out of the portal like
- 24:50Speaker 3: no like true like superstars. But they got like four
- 24:52Speaker 3: or five solid players to add to their defense. Which
- 24:56Speaker 3: if you've got money to spend, you're like, I can
- 24:58Speaker 3: get two superstar, are can get five solid players? Like
- 25:03Speaker 3: superstars are great? But I think you're seeing better be
- 25:05Speaker 3: a game change. Yes, I think you're seeing a lot
- 25:07Speaker 3: of people that are taking the approach of let me
- 25:10Speaker 3: go get like some more depth, let me go get
- 25:12Speaker 3: some good players, but also multiple players. And so I
- 25:16Speaker 3: think Missouri did a really nice shop in the portal
- 25:18Speaker 3: and they've got a great opportunity we South Carolina if
- 25:21Speaker 3: Lenori Sellers doesn't play, because again I'm going to say it,
- 25:24Speaker 3: until we get to October the eighteenth, that's the first
- 25:26Speaker 3: time they go on the road for Missouri. They are
- 25:29Speaker 3: playing Incomo until October the eighteenth. It's wild, Okay, So
- 25:33Speaker 3: you have to take it's a great scheduling. You've got
- 25:35Speaker 3: to take full advantage of any opportunity you get in this.
- 25:38Speaker 3: If Lenora Sellers doesn't play, is a great opportunity for them.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, this line is so surprising for us at this
- 25:43Speaker 2: point of the season because before the before the season started,
- 25:47Speaker 2: we were talking about how if South Carolina is in
- 25:51Speaker 2: the top ten fifteen, that means Lenor Sellas is having
- 25:54Speaker 2: a great season. That Heisman campaign that has certainly been
- 25:57Speaker 2: like the furthest thing from the truth to this point. Now,
- 26:00Speaker 2: let me ask you this, if Sellers does get announced
- 26:03Speaker 2: as playing. What kind of line movement you think we
- 26:06Speaker 2: see from that? Do you think it changes drastically?
- 26:09Speaker 4: I think you'll look at a three and a half.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Maybe maybe I'm thinking like the way they've looked thus
- 26:14Speaker 2: far in the season and the way in comparison to
- 26:18Speaker 2: how Missouri's like. I don't even know if Seller's playing
- 26:20Speaker 2: really moves the needle that much for betters. Maybe it
- 26:23Speaker 2: moves it closer to seven and a half something like that,
- 26:26Speaker 2: maybe seven, but.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I think it maybe a moved down to six.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah, this is under a touchdown, But I mean what
- 26:33Speaker 2: Perbula is doing, what that offense is doing, and just
- 26:36Speaker 2: a consistently they just look like a real consistent, well coached,
- 26:40Speaker 2: disciplined football team. Do they lack a little bit of
- 26:42Speaker 2: that sexiness? Maybe because they're Missouri. Sorry, I know that's
- 26:49Speaker 2: your team, but they're a good football team, and South
- 26:53Speaker 2: Carolina it's just to this point is not looking like
- 26:55Speaker 2: a good overall football team. I think they that. I
- 26:58Speaker 2: think they are starting to realize what they've lost from
- 27:01Speaker 2: last season and how much they reliant on Lenora's Sellers
- 27:05Speaker 2: to be good. So if defenses can flip and adjust
- 27:08Speaker 2: their game plan and figure out they've got they got
- 27:11Speaker 2: a year of tape on Lenora's Sellers. If they can
- 27:14Speaker 2: flip it around and figure out how to contain him,
- 27:16Speaker 2: then they really got nothing else behind them.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I was just about say so when you were saying
- 27:20Speaker 3: that was making me laugh because it made me think
- 27:23Speaker 3: of and you talked about this a couple of weeks ago.
- 27:25Speaker 3: So there was one time when Hanny and I were
- 27:27Speaker 3: doing the show together U for I guess like six months.
- 27:30Speaker 2: It was.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I think it was daring COVID or right after COVID.
- 27:33Speaker 3: We were trying to, you know, do some different things
- 27:34Speaker 3: at the station. And you know, so Flynn had had
- 27:37Speaker 3: always come on the show with me and every single
- 27:40Speaker 3: like at least once a week.
- 27:41Speaker 4: Right and any and he's sitting there and he's in
- 27:46Speaker 4: the host chare and.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Flynn shows up and he's like, all right, do y'all
- 27:50Speaker 3: think do the flestering thing you'll do. You'll do it,
- 27:53Speaker 3: be funny, funny, just do a flustering thing like he
- 27:56Speaker 3: said that on air. And we started lid like, what, yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 3: do you whatever that thing is, you'll do, y'all do that.
- 28:03Speaker 3: When you said that about the North Sellers, that's what
- 28:05Speaker 3: it reminded me.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Of Hey, go do your thing.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Do your thing what I don't really know what you do?
- 28:11Speaker 3: I do Leonora Sellers things, and that's kind of how
- 28:13Speaker 3: their offense was. Yeah, do you thing whatever that is.
- 28:17Speaker 2: That's right. So you're comparing the head coach for South Carolina.
- 28:22Speaker 4: To Haney Seane Beamer, Handy, the same person.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Hey, in the same room at that time that you're like,
- 28:26Speaker 2: you're just better and like faster and everybody, and you
- 28:28Speaker 2: just score touchdowns one versus eleven. Just do that, please?
- 28:32Speaker 2: So when the defenses can figure that out and stop that,
- 28:34Speaker 2: they have proven to be pretty pedestrians, So we'll can
- 28:39Speaker 2: they get a turn around? Yeah? The weapons around them,
- 28:41Speaker 2: that's tough. So yeah, I if certainly if Leonora Sellers
- 28:46Speaker 2: is not playing, Yeah, I mean that game has the
- 28:48Speaker 2: potential to kind of get ugly.
- 28:51Speaker 4: So it's a great opportunity.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I really do think that for Missouri, and we'll see
- 28:55Speaker 3: if they can take advantage of that. Let's get to
- 28:57Speaker 3: one more game here at least before we step away
- 29:01Speaker 3: for this break, maybe even two more, because I think
- 29:02Speaker 3: there's two more marquee ones on the slate and kind
- 29:05Speaker 3: of finishes there. You've got Florida and Miami. Florida traveling
- 29:10Speaker 3: to Miami. Miami and nine and a half point favorite
- 29:14Speaker 3: in this game. This game's intriguing you one because, els,
- 29:17Speaker 3: you just played Florida. You want to see, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 3: where they're at and kind of stack up against another
- 29:21Speaker 3: top team in the country. For Miami. Are they back?
- 29:24Speaker 3: Are they truly back? They've they've shown flashes of being
- 29:27Speaker 3: back even last year. Can they win a game like this? Florida,
- 29:31Speaker 3: Your back is not just against the wall. You are
- 29:33Speaker 3: engulfed into the wall, like you are part of the wall.
- 29:36Speaker 3: You're back is firmly in there. Okay, You're like the
- 29:40Speaker 3: kool Aid man bursting through the wall right now.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Now, you're like the gift of Homer Simpson back and
- 29:45Speaker 2: into the bit that yeah that is you.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Okay, go play like it.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Don't be tough guys before the game and in victory
- 29:53Speaker 3: formation for once in your existence. Go be tough guys
- 29:57Speaker 3: there in the game, yep, and go try to save
- 29:59Speaker 3: your coaches job, all right. Like, if you can't be challenged, Florida,
- 30:04Speaker 3: if you can't be challenging this game an in state rival,
- 30:08Speaker 3: you're a nine and a half point dog to them.
- 30:11Speaker 3: You played high school ball against like all these guys,
- 30:13Speaker 3: so you already have a past history. And if your
- 30:15Speaker 3: coach gets embarrassed, he's going to get fired. After this game,
- 30:20Speaker 3: Florida for the first time, show signs of life in
- 30:24Speaker 3: the actual sixty minutes of the game and not the
- 30:27Speaker 3: tough guy stuff before and after the game.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe maybe trying to refrain from slapping other players
- 30:33Speaker 2: in the face if you're a coach.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah, don't have your coach slap yep.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Oh, maybe maybe not. Try not to hackelugi and the
- 30:41Speaker 2: other player's face.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that also happened.
- 30:44Speaker 2: And walk through and trying to ruin people's pregame routine
- 30:48Speaker 2: and then go out and lose every game. Yeah, so yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 2: try not to do that. I'm always cheering for your demise,
- 30:56Speaker 2: So I hope Miami whips you. I do, and we
- 30:59Speaker 2: keep talking about Yeah, Miami looks back. Like you said earlier,
- 31:02Speaker 2: if you had an AP vote, you might vote them
- 31:04Speaker 2: at number one right now, just for their body of
- 31:06Speaker 2: work thus far in the early part of the season.
- 31:08Speaker 3: And watching the film.
- 31:10Speaker 2: But it's one of those deals where we've talked, we've
- 31:13Speaker 2: we've we've said these things before about Miami for sure,
- 31:16Speaker 2: just like Texas for a long time. Are they back?
- 31:17Speaker 3: Are they back?
- 31:19Speaker 2: It's one of those things. I'm not going to ever
- 31:20Speaker 2: believe it until I actually see it, till you prove
- 31:23Speaker 2: to me that you can do it for an entire season.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I'm certainly not going to believe in Carson Beck until
- 31:30Speaker 2: he proves that. Tommy, uh got to close your mouth
- 31:33Speaker 2: when you breathe try it, try it out of your nose.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It's nice, not as obvious. But yes, I don't think
- 31:44Speaker 2: you know the the tough guy mentality from Florida.
- 31:46Speaker 3: We've we exhausted that last week.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Added fuel to the fire when they're their stupid coach
- 31:52Speaker 2: punches or slaps a kid in the face, what an idiot?
- 31:57Speaker 2: So it just but it's so, it's so right on Park,
- 32:00Speaker 2: it's that's that's Florida, baby. I know that's Florida. That's
- 32:03Speaker 2: Florida experience. I never changed, though, never changed.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Don't change.
- 32:07Speaker 4: I know that, don't.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Change because it makes it so good. It makes college
- 32:10Speaker 2: football so good, It makes the rivalry so good. And
- 32:13Speaker 2: this is a big rivay, like they don't play do
- 32:16Speaker 2: they play Miami.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Every every year?
- 32:18Speaker 4: Not every year?
- 32:20Speaker 2: For them it's like as hyped as they would as
- 32:23Speaker 2: coming to LSU would be like playing an in state
- 32:25Speaker 2: rival like that, it's a we don't know what that's
- 32:27Speaker 2: like here at LSU.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Yeah, don't get me fired up thinking about those idiots.
- 32:32Speaker 2: You don't play them again.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I'd love to tell Hell, tell them to come to Rouses.
- 32:36Speaker 3: We'll do it right here on this stayed concrete.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Fist fight.
- 32:40Speaker 3: So what you're saying, choose your weapon. I don't care.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Fist fight, football game, I don't care forwards. I was
- 32:47Speaker 3: replaying in my mind, like them running around the field
- 32:51Speaker 3: through your warm up in front of your student section
- 32:53Speaker 3: and like thinking that was tough, and like their little
- 32:57Speaker 3: dorky five six strength coaches doing the less mile clap
- 33:00Speaker 3: and coach, I love you, I'm saying they like they did,
- 33:02Speaker 3: like the over exaggerated clap and like shaking their head.
- 33:06Speaker 3: My guy, you're not going to do anything, just like
- 33:08Speaker 3: your team's not going to do anything.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Yep, bums, all of you, bum all of you.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Jake wants to market right here.
- 33:16Speaker 3: I can't stay in them. I can't do.
- 33:18Speaker 2: We have to fight current players, can we tight older
- 33:21Speaker 2: players both?
- 33:22Speaker 3: I don't want to fight at all. I'm not a
- 33:24Speaker 3: fighter who's called we taking thank you, that's what. Don't
- 33:29Speaker 3: turn in like I need you to not be t

- 35:55Speaker 4: Dozens?
- 35:57Speaker 2: I saw one recently. Someone posted video on social media.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I saw in Jersey in the wild in Seattle, the
- 36:03Speaker 2: Seattle Niners game that is in the wild. Yeah, I thought,
- 36:06Speaker 2: I don't know if they're wearing it. Sarcastically, I'm assuming
- 36:09Speaker 2: they are, which respect yeah.
- 36:10Speaker 3: No matter not seriously, ye, I don't care how why
- 36:13Speaker 3: you're wearing it.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Or they were like, well, I's put the money on them,
- 36:16Speaker 2: gonna get my, gonna get.
- 36:17Speaker 3: My, you know, good thirteen years out of it. I
- 36:19Speaker 3: was about to say it might have been one of
- 36:20Speaker 3: those situations where they like went all in on, like
- 36:23Speaker 3: the custom custom, and they're like, look, I'm gonna wear
- 36:26Speaker 3: this sure, Like I went out and I got the
- 36:28Speaker 3: stitching and everything, so I got to wear it. Stitch it,
- 36:31Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like you didn't get the
- 36:32Speaker 3: iron on like you guys a right with the stitching.
- 36:35Speaker 2: You never It's always fun to see one in the wild, though.
- 36:37Speaker 2: In Green Bay we see I see thousands of ten
- 36:42Speaker 2: jerseys in the wild in Green Bay right now. We
- 36:44Speaker 2: saw one here at else's we.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Saw one here. It certainly did not say love on
- 36:48Speaker 4: the back.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Yeah, to update the people that were listening in the
- 36:51Speaker 2: hour one earlier when there was a flint no flincher,
- 36:54Speaker 2: a ten Jersey Green bit Packer Jersey right behind us,
- 36:58Speaker 2: it did not say flint on the back love.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 37:03Speaker 2: The best ten Jersey Green Bay ten Jersey story I
- 37:06Speaker 2: have was in twenty thirteen or fourteen.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I can't remember.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Pearl Jam came to Milwaukee when we were in I
- 37:13Speaker 2: think it was either during I think it was during
- 37:15Speaker 2: the season, might have been right.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Before or something like that. Well, a lot of the
- 37:20Speaker 3: packer's a big Pearl jamfan.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, big Pearl jamfan. So a lot of the packers
- 37:24Speaker 2: and their significant other there's lazy what it was. We
- 37:26Speaker 2: got like a big bus we drove down to Milwaukee. Yeah,
- 37:29Speaker 2: we go down So I'm a big Pearl Jam fan.
- 37:30Speaker 2: I love them. I love Eddie Vedder, And you know,
- 37:33Speaker 2: at that time, I was really into it, right they
- 37:36Speaker 2: I think they think the documentary had just come out,
- 37:40Speaker 2: and it's a really good documentary, one of the rockumentaries.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And so we go down there and we're all fired up,
- 37:44Speaker 2: and I'm like, man, I hope we hear this song.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I hope we hear that song. So beforehand we get
- 37:48Speaker 2: to go and actually go backstage and meet Pearl Jam
- 37:51Speaker 2: talk to Eddie Vedder and it was like awesome.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Right, yeah, I'm sure that would be awesome.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. It was really cool, and so we
- 37:59Speaker 2: actually got if you've ever seen the documentary about him,
- 38:02Speaker 2: they like Eddie Vedder hand writes in a sharpie on
- 38:05Speaker 2: a piece of paper the set list for that show.
- 38:07Speaker 2: No show's ever the same, they're all different, and he
- 38:10Speaker 2: writes the set list out on two columns.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and I actually.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Got the copy of that afterwards, and I still got it.
- 38:16Speaker 2: So I got the copy of that set list. So,
- 38:17Speaker 2: but those those guys came out and they took two breaks,
- 38:19Speaker 2: they rocked their faces off. They played for like three
- 38:21Speaker 2: and a half hours. And we had brought him a
- 38:25Speaker 2: ten jersey with vetter on the back because their first
- 38:28Speaker 2: album was ten, right, right, and so but of course
- 38:31Speaker 2: I'm ten. Yeah, so we're we're doing I'm like, man,
- 38:34Speaker 2: I to hope we hear these these set of songs,
- 38:36Speaker 2: and of course they play them all and it wasn't
- 38:38Speaker 2: like all the hits to some it was some like
- 38:40Speaker 2: random some random songs they played on the last part.
- 38:43Speaker 2: But the last set that they came and played, he
- 38:45Speaker 2: had the ten jersey on and of course it's not
- 38:48Speaker 2: for me, but it is, but it is in my brain.
- 38:50Speaker 4: It was.
- 38:51Speaker 2: And so guess who went crowdsurfing?
- 38:54Speaker 3: Ye?
- 38:54Speaker 4: Boy, you went crowds Sure did? How'd that go?
- 38:59Speaker 2: It was amazing?
- 39:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:00Speaker 2: But people touching my bum?
- 39:02Speaker 4: How long did that last?
- 39:03Speaker 2: That's the thing about crowdsurfing is like people aren't really
- 39:06Speaker 2: watching where they're touching, so you kind of get all
- 39:10Speaker 2: the parts and it's not not great. But it was fun. Yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 2: And we were juiced up. We were looped up, hydrated,
- 39:18Speaker 2: not with my high, not with my high. But we
- 39:20Speaker 2: had a great time. The best concert I've ever been
- 39:22Speaker 2: to because and it was really cool because Eddie vedder warm.
- 39:25Speaker 3: So do you have like that frame somewhere like him
- 39:28Speaker 3: wearing tin and also like the rundown.
- 39:30Speaker 2: There was actually an article written about the concert. Yeah,
- 39:34Speaker 2: and the headline was Matt Flinn had an awesome time?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Sure it did?
- 39:38Speaker 4: Did you end up on the Famous Web?
- 39:41Speaker 2: There was no doubt that anybody I was. There was
- 39:45Speaker 2: no doubt in anybody's mind in that entire building or
- 39:47Speaker 2: Milwaukee or the state of Wisconsin. Uh that I had
- 39:50Speaker 2: a good time that night.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody knew.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Everybody knew, and yeah, just sorry, guys, don't be jealous.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yeah I had a great time. You should have had
- 39:59Speaker 2: as much fun as me.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Do you have to have fun in that situation?
- 40:02Speaker 3: Absolutely? Yeah. I wasn't going to sit there and just
- 40:04Speaker 3: pe you're a fan of Pearl Jam Pearl Jams playing.
- 40:07Speaker 3: He's wearing a ten jersey? You got the set list? Yep?
- 40:10Speaker 4: Also, like, what do you have? Where's that at?
- 40:12Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna sit there and sway and snap my fingers.
- 40:14Speaker 4: You won't tell me where that's at?
- 40:15Speaker 3: Did you lose that?
- 40:16Speaker 4: What the set list?
- 40:18Speaker 3: No?
- 40:18Speaker 4: I got it?
- 40:18Speaker 2: Okay, it's in the random box of the attic somewhere.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 40:22Speaker 4: But was that not like framed up?
- 40:25Speaker 2: I don't know, probably should be, I guess right. Well,
- 40:29Speaker 2: I mean I've moved, you know, quite a few times
- 40:32Speaker 2: afterwards to a couple of different teams, so I had
- 40:35Speaker 2: to box up a lot of things. A lot of
- 40:36Speaker 2: things stay boxed.
- 40:37Speaker 3: That's true for a lot of boxes. You're like, wait,
- 40:39Speaker 3: where's that box? It's probably in Like, yeah, a Stords
- 40:42Speaker 3: locker in Denver somewhere, probably.
- 40:43Speaker 2: With the other boxes that have been there for decades. Yeah,
- 40:46Speaker 2: I'm sure my kids will look at it once and
- 40:48Speaker 2: like it once and then put.

- 45:10Speaker 2: high on them coming into the season, and rightfully so,
- 45:12Speaker 2: they're playing well. Like you said, Altmeyer is playing like
- 45:15Speaker 2: a stud right now. Seven hundred nine yards, eight touchdowns.
