New project aims to demystify tribal land acquisition
In Wisconsin, navigating the laws around tribal land acquisition can be extraordinarily complicated. The Great Lakes Indigenous Law Center (GLILC) is planning a comprehensive handbook to guide folks through the system. The center recently announced that it has received an approximately one hundred thousand dollar grant to make it happen.
