Silver and gold investors. Just when you started to think,
• 0:03
maybe, just maybe, were you starting to feel like we were
• 0:07
coming out of the woods, the Federal Reserve and our old
• 0:11
friend Jerome E Powell poked their nosy.
• 0:14
Little heads up again and we got big trouble when it comes to the
• 0:18
Fed and when we're looking at the precious metals prices or.
• 0:23
Do we? We're going to dive into that in
• 0:25
  this video. We're.
• 0:26
Also going to talk about oil and why that could lead to
• 0:30
skyrocketing prices for silver and gold.
• 0:33
We got to talk a little little bit about Europe, a little bit
• 0:35
about China. We're going to talk about you,
• 0:37
OK? We're going to talk about the 10
• 0:39
year bond yield. I even drew a picture.
• 0:42
Yes, I know, I know. We all.
• 0:44
Like to draw pictures, but I drew another picture for you.
• 0:48
A graph that's going to show you something unbelievable about the
• 0:52
dollar in the DXY index, because guys do you know, I mean, I hope
• 0:57
you know this, the the dollar has been along with Jerome Palm.
• 1:01
They're kind of like cousins walking together.
• 1:03
The dollar has been one of the biggest enemies to the price of
• 1:07
silver and gold over the last. Few years.
• 1:10
Also I want to talk to you about bubbles.
• 1:13
Big, big bubbles in the general market in something that is.
• 1:18
Crazy going on right now with some of these tech stocks and
• 1:22
we're. Going to relate that back to
• 1:24
mining stocks to gold and silver mining stocks and when you look
• 1:28
at that comparison. It is jaw-dropping.
• 1:31
What is going on there? I'm so.
• 1:32
Glad you're here today guys. Thank you so much.
• 1:36
I'll put out a new piece of content every day for the rest
• 1:38
  of my life. Yes, you.
• 1:40
Yes, you can be my friend. You can make.
• 1:43
Other friends here in the basement.
• 1:45
We are called basement dwellers and you can watch me deteriorate
• 1:49
overtime. Won't that be fun, you know?
• 1:51
Maybe they'll do like a slow motion.
• 1:53
This is when he started, and this is what?
• 1:55
He looked like at the end. Anyway, I want you to come back.
• 1:58
Please give this a thumbs up. That right there that button
• 2:02
that really helps get the word out to more people.
• 2:05
Thank you in advance for doing that.
• 2:06
Thank you to all 2. 100 of you joining me on a.
• 2:10
It's a holiday week. Do you get screwed up?
• 2:12
Does that happen to you on? Days during holiday weeks.
• 2:15
Today is definitely Friday, isn't it?
• 2:19
No, today's. Thursday, let's get started
• 2:21
right now. I want to read this.
• 2:23
Is what really spar triggered. I got triggered this morning.
• 2:26
You know, I I Look, we love our metals.
• 2:28
We love. Our Gold, silver and platinum
• 2:31
but. This triggered me this morning.
• 2:33
Let me read this to you. It's a.
• 2:35
Brief brief little article, but it's chocked full of of
• 2:39
pertinent information that. Relates directly to the silver
• 2:43
and gold price Yahoo Finance U. S stock futures fall with the
• 2:50
feds Next move in focus. the Fed are, I don't want to say enemy,
• 2:55
but not our friend, right? Stock market news, OK, stocks
• 3:00
were pointed lower. I'm not going to read that, do
• 3:02
  you? The Dow Jones Industrial
• 3:03
average, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's not what we want to talk
• 3:06
about, stocks. Are coming under pressure after
• 3:10
data unexpectedly showed US services activity at a six month
• 3:16
high in August. It's the Bidenomics economic
• 3:19
miracle at work again, right? Do you believe it?
• 3:23
I don't believe it. We know the.
• 3:25
Real numbers. We know that's a bunch of.
• 3:27
Bulk A pookie. But anyhow, that's seen as a
• 3:31
sign of resilience amongst consumers and in the broader
• 3:35
  economy amid higher borrowing cost.
• 3:38
Meanwhile, Gains and Treasuries weighed on tech stocks but eased
• 3:43
slightly on Thursday. So they're telling us guys, that
• 3:46
the Fed OK, is going to be. Able to raise rates.
• 3:50
OK, I forgot to tell you something critical.
• 3:52
The next Fed meeting September 19th and 20th.
• 3:55
What is today? Today is a Thursday, September
• 3:59
  7th. That's going to be a critical
• 4:05
big Fed meeting. So that's what.
• 4:01
Not next week, but the following.
• 4:06
And now? People are starting to say, but
• 4:08
the US economy's doing so great. Look, we had these great August
• 4:13
whatever bulk of Bookie. Numbers that they put out.
• 4:16
The feds going to raise rates if that happens?
• 4:19
That's going to be bad for the silver price and gold price.
• 4:22
But we gotta ask ourselves, are is the consumer?
• 4:26
Really doing that? Well, let's revisit all the data
• 4:30
we know right? Shipping Rates Shipping rates
• 4:33
Shipping volume down 10% is the. Consumer doing that well,
• 4:37
  they're buying 10% less products.
• 4:40
The consumers have no more. Savings The San Francisco Fred
• 4:44
Fed Federal Reserve just told us the other day that people have
• 4:50
gone from having 2 trillion in savings down to 200.
• 4:53
So they spent through their savings and you know, you know
• 4:57
and yes. I have a picture for you.
• 4:58
I drew a picture. I'm gonna show you that in a
• 5:00
minute. But you know, you know, on top
• 5:03
of. That the credit card data.
• 5:05
Credit card debt at all time high.
• 5:06
Credit card rates at all time high?
• 5:08
But the consumers doing great, it's driving the US economy.
• 5:12
I call BBC Bulkapuke OK now, but but that's the narrative.
• 5:19
We got to deal with that. That's the narrative on Wall
• 5:23
  Street now. Then they talk.
• 5:24
About Apple, Apple computer, you know Apple?
• 5:27
Do you have an Apple phone? Maybe you're watching me on an
• 5:30
  Apple phone. Hi, Apple.
• 5:32
Hi to all you basement dwellers. I think it's awesome you're here
• 5:35
with me on a Thursday. Not a Friday, Thursday morning
• 5:39
to look at what's going on out there.
• 5:41
Put it all together. Is it supportive of your idea?
• 5:45
Your thesis if you want to use a fancy.
• 5:48
Word to own silver, gold and platinum.
• 5:51
That's what we're digging into. We're going to talk about Apple
• 5:55
  in a minute, because it's. It's it's a bubble, guys.
• 5:58
  It's all I can say. It's a bubble.
• 6:00
I lived through the tech bubble. I was actually in the tech
• 6:04
industry back in the mid 90s to late 90s, very involved in the
• 6:08
tech industry. We are in a bubble again.
• 6:11
I don't care what anybody says and I'm going.
• 6:13
To give you irrefutable proof of that later on the run up.
• 6:17
  Now they. Talk about oil.
• 6:19
The run up in oil. Prices that cast doubt on the.
• 6:22
Feds push to cool inflation. OK, oil has been skyrocketing.
• 6:41
We've covered that ad nauseam. That is causing inflation.
• 6:31
All right, there's so much in this article.
• 6:33
There's only two more sentences. But we are in an environment
• 6:37
where inflation is not going away.
• 6:39
Gas prices are going up. Oil is the.
• 6:43
Lifeblood of the world economy. It's in everything.
• 6:47
It affects everything. It affects food prices because
• 6:51
it makes. Transportation go up and and it
• 6:53
caught I think they. Burned, you know, fuel in those
• 6:56
big tractors off? They asked my buddy Slick
• 6:58
  Willie. He's a big farmer.
• 6:59
Owns hundreds of acres anyway. Oil affects everything.
• 7:04
Oil affects. Us directly at the gas pumps,
• 7:06
right? You know you're filling your
• 7:07
pump up your tank. And if you're anything like me
• 7:10
or the same, please, God. Stop at $50 and then it doesn't
• 7:13
stop at 50. Then it goes to 60 and you're
• 7:16
like, it can't be much worse. And then it goes all the way to
• 7:19
68 dollars or $78. Or whatever it is.
• 7:22
  Oil affects everything. That's inflation.
• 7:25
  Let's just quickly review Stagflation.
• 7:28
I'm even hearing some of the. Other Youtubers have you notice
• 7:31
this the other analysts. Out there like you and me,
• 7:35
right? We're ahead of the curve.
• 7:36
We've been talking about stagflation for nine months now.
• 7:39
All of a sudden, everybody. Wants to talk about stagflation,
• 7:43
and they're even using what us bait basement dwellers.
• 7:46
Like to say about it? We like to say, and we invented
• 7:49
this. It's the most fertile ground for
• 7:52
the price of silver. And gold look no for look at the
• 7:55
70s look at the 80s Look at the math behind it.
• 7:58
OK, so we are moving into this stagflationary environment.
• 8:03
Coin Shop, Chris. I ring the bell 10 times when we
• 8:07
get to 100 thumbs up. If you don't like it, mute baby,
• 8:14
I'm all over the place. Little techie break, we can
• 8:33
relax. I'm telling you, though, I am.
• 8:16
I am fired up this morning. This little article got me
• 8:20
  going. Let me go.
• 8:21
  Uh. Oh, hold on.
• 8:22
  Here. Hold on here.
• 8:25
OK, now then. It touches on this.
• 8:29
  Bear with me, guys. Technical.
• 8:33
For a second, OK, so oil's an issue.
• 8:36
What's the other issue that is getting headlines now?
• 8:40
Have you heard this one? China trade figures failed to
• 8:44
ease worries about sluggishness. I'm gonna walk.
• 8:48
These together in the world. 'S second second biggest economy
• 8:53
  HM interesting questions are swirling.
• 8:55
Do you see on questions swirling about whether the slowdown in
• 8:59
China could be a quote UN quote? Top risk to the US economy and
• 9:06
we're going to talk about China a little more in a second about
• 9:08
the dollar, because the dollar has been killing us.
• 9:11
And I do have a picture for you, don't worry.
• 9:14
Added to a fresh batch of downbeat data from.
• 9:19
Europe, Europe, our friends in Europe is, you know, I don't
• 9:22
think the unite is the United. Kingdom a part of Europe.
• 9:25
Is that considered Europe? I am bad.
• 9:26
I'm showing my. I apologize, but you know,
• 9:29
Europe like Germany, Spain, Italy, right, just just some
• 9:34
  little time they're having problems.
• 9:36
All right. So let's just wrap that up in a
• 9:39
nice little package. China is slowing down.
• 9:42
Europe is slowing down, but somehow the United.
• 9:46
States Right manages to have this awesome growing economy in
• 9:51
  the. Federal Reserve and Jerome
• 9:53
Powell in 12 short days. Are going to raise interest
• 9:57
rates and kill gold and silver. That's the I call.
• 10:02
I call. I don't know where this word
• 10:05
came from today. Bulkapookie OK, we are going to
• 10:08
cuss down here but I am urinated off.
• 10:11
  OK? I'm not happy.
• 10:12
About this, that suddenly again, we're getting more of this.
• 10:16
  Hawk. Hawk.
• 10:16
Hawk talk regarding the Fed. That's a big, big, big warning
• 10:21
  right now. We got more.
• 10:23
We got a lot more. Let's talk briefly about the
• 10:28
most important the Moat. The bond market is way bigger
• 10:32
than the stock market, guys. We're.
• 10:33
Going to talk about the bubble in the stock.
• 10:34
Market, I'll get to that, but the bond market.
• 10:38
Is the granddaddy of everything 10 year bond yield.
• 10:43
Is the critical number for you to watch.
• 10:45
If you watch anything, watch the 10 year bond yield.
• 10:49
That's the interest rate that the government pays on 10 year
• 10:52
bonds. You can go to Yahoo Finance,
• 10:55
pull up that page, and it's all along the.
• 10:56
Top It's got the different stuff and it's even.
• 10:59
Got gold and silver up there? Which I always found interesting
• 11:02
if gold and. Silver are such barbarous
• 11:04
relics. I'm going to get back to the 10
• 11:06
year bond yield. Why the heck does Yahoo Finance?
• 11:10
Keep it right at the top of the page.
• 11:13
Right next to the Dow and the S&P and the 10.
• 11:16
Year, bond yield and everything else.
• 11:18
If you thought about that, we're not barbarous relics.
• 11:20
We're the base of all money. Gold and silver are the base.
• 11:24
The world's never gone off the gold standard.
• 11:27
I digress. The 10 year bond yield is
• 11:29
pushing against. Last I looked this morning, 4.3,
• 11:34
it's not been that. High since 2007, 2000.
• 11:39
What does that mean? That means interest.
• 11:41
Rates obviously are high, but that means it becomes
• 11:45
increasingly more. Expensive for the US government
• 11:48
to finance all the. They have 17 trillion in debt
• 11:51
that. Needs to be refinanced over the
• 11:53
  next. Two years?
• 11:55
Are you aware of that right? Interest expense for our
• 11:58
government is now running it like 1 trillion.
• 12:01
Just to pay the interest. That'd be like if you had.
• 12:04
A big credit card debt in just the interest.
• 12:07
On the credit card debt was a trillion dollars right?
• 12:10
Or if you had 100K in credit card debt right now, guess what
• 12:13
You'd be paying 20K a year in interest.
• 12:16
Just interest that is is constricting the government.
• 12:20
Those high bond yields are killing the banks.
• 12:23
We had the banking crisis back in March and April and back then
• 12:28
the 10 year bond yield had only gotten to about 4.154.2.
• 12:32
Thank you Shadow Work for the Super Chat.
• 12:34
I forgot I haven't begged for Super Chats today.
• 12:37
Super chats are always appreciated, never expected.
• 12:39
Thank you very much and I love the thumbs up.
• 12:42
Please press the thumbs up right now.
• 12:46
I'm waiting. OK, there you go.
• 12:48
You get 2 bell rings for that now.
• 12:51
The banks are under so much stress right now.
• 12:56
Because of the 10, I gotta move my microphone.
• 12:59
We pick it up. Because of the two year 10 year
• 13:01
10 year bond yield, the banks are under a lot of stress.
• 13:05
But. You don't know that because they
• 13:07
don't have to report it, right? They say that they're holding
• 13:11
all these bonds on their on their.
• 13:13
Books held to maturity, meaning, well, we may have lost our
• 13:17
rears, we may have been slaughtered in all these.
• 13:20
Bonds we bought, but we don't have to recognize that that
• 13:23
  happen. We can.
• 13:24
We can look the other way. I mean, don't you wish you could
• 13:29
do that? That's like if you bought a
• 13:32
bunch of stock and a company, like maybe a mining company two
• 13:36
years ago and the value of it went down by half, right?
• 13:40
And your your wife. Ask you how's your stock doing,
• 13:42
that you put all of our money into and you say?
• 13:45
Oh, honey, it's just doing fine. We're holding it to maturity.
• 13:49
It'll come back, you know, nonetheless, and and and
• 13:52
hopefully it will. I'm I'm rooting for you, by the
• 13:54
way, because I'm kind of in the same boat, but nonetheless,
• 13:57
nonetheless. The reality is the banks, they
• 14:00
took your money and bought all those bonds, loaned it out on
• 14:04
all that commercial real estate. Your money.
• 14:07
If you thought about that, so the money.
• 14:10
That you gave them. They invested and they invested
• 14:13
  it. Poorly, because the commercial
• 14:15
real estate's now worth, you know, 2530% less, and a lot of
• 14:20
the bonds are worth 2020 530% less.
• 14:23
So if you collectively all went to the bank.
• 14:27
Oh, and by the way, that kind of happened back in March and April
• 14:30
with. Silicon Valley Bank and the
• 14:32
other ones go to the bank. And what your money back?
• 14:35
The bank's going to be like, ah, we ain't got it.
• 14:39
And I'll say this one last time, this is not a banking show and
• 14:42
not all the banks are not. I'm not saying they're.
• 14:44
All going broke or anything like that.
• 14:47
But if your bank was in trouble, don't expect that you're going
• 14:50
to walk into the lobby and next to the little.
• 14:52
Tray of cookies, There's going to be a.
• 14:54
Sign that says. We just wanted to warn you that
• 14:56
we're in financial. They don't do that.
• 14:59
OK, thank you to our sponsor Pin Becks online bullion dealer.
• 15:06
Check them out. OK, if you're.
• 15:08
Looking to buy silver, gold or platinum?
• 15:11
You. Got to check out Pin Becks,
• 15:12
you'll find. The best prices, OK, And one of
• 15:17
the best. Or the best customer experience
• 15:19
out there? I worked with them long before.
• 15:23
I say it every time. Before I was a customer, before
• 15:27
they became a sponsor of Ron's basement.
• 15:30
I won't take on sponsors of any mining company unless I own a
• 15:34
lot of the stock myself or a bullion dealer unless I've
• 15:38
worked with them. Before they sponsor me because I
• 15:42
eat my own cooking, right? If.
• 15:43
I was a restaurant. I'd be eating at my own
• 15:46
restaurant and I definitely can recommend pin backs 100%.
• 15:50
I think they're the best now. Oh there's more the 10 year bond
• 15:55
then we're going to get off this.
• 15:56
  I'll. Be quick, guys.
• 15:57
The 10 year bond go look it up. A lot of you already know this.
• 16:01
If you don't like I said, go to Yahoo Finance, go to the.
• 16:03
Top there's a little bar. Scroll over, you'll find the 10
• 16:06
year bond. You got to watch that businesses
• 16:09
are in. Big trouble, Okay, Big trouble
• 16:14
with these new. Rates we've got so much debt in
• 16:17
the business community that and it it.
• 16:19
Only goes for three to five year terms.
• 16:21
We're going to have rolling waves of new debt that
• 16:25
businesses are going to need to be refinancing and the rates in
• 16:29
many cases. Are going to be twice as high.
• 16:31
It's going to hit the economy and then of course, consumers.
• 16:36
Overall debt levels in the United States, whether you're
• 16:40
talking government business, consumers are so high.
• 16:43
It's crazy. Let's talk about the DXY and I
• 16:45
got a picture. For you, I got a picture of
• 16:48
pictures worth 1000 words. But the DXY is the dollar index
• 16:53
right? The 10 year bond, the Fed, the
• 16:55
  dollar. Strong dollar.
• 16:57
You probably heard it right all the mainstream beat media
• 17:00
people, now the. Dollar strength is blah blah
• 17:03
blah and that when the. Dollar gets stronger.
• 17:06
It's called an inverse relationship, opposite
• 17:09
relationship. When the dollar gets quote UN
• 17:12
quote stronger the. Price of silver and gold and
• 17:16
platinum for our friend Neil will go down, down, down, down,
• 17:19
down. And that's exactly what's been
• 17:21
  going on now. For what?
• 17:23
The last two months. Roughly, the dollar index had
• 17:26
gone down to about a. 100 but now it's up last I checked this
• 17:29
morning, right at 10. Five, but but you know, you
• 17:35
know. We got to look at the good news
• 17:37
too, right? I mean, we don't just.
• 17:40
I like this. Hold on a second.
• 17:43
  Hold on. Bear with me.
• 17:45
Do you guys like when I hold this up close?
• 17:48
OK. Do you feel closer to me right
• 17:49
now? Because we just don't want to
• 17:51
talk about the bad news. I want to point out something
• 17:54
interesting and good about the dollar index and I even have a
• 17:58
  picture. For you.
• 17:59
Put that back down. Nobody else is talking about
• 18:03
this. This is a basement dweller
• 18:05
  exclusive. OK.
• 18:07
  And. Here's a picture.
• 18:09
Look at this. Can you see that?
• 18:13
There we go. That's the DXY, the dollar index
• 18:16
from 1980. 5 All the way through today.
• 18:20
So when you look at that and today I got to find a better way
• 18:25
  to. Do this today.
• 18:26
We're at 105 Okay guys. That makes.
• 18:29
The price of silver and gold go down.
• 18:35
It was like 120. We're all the way over there at
• 18:33
  1:05 in 1980. Okay.
• 18:38
But what do you notice about this okay?
• 18:42
If somebody says that looks like a set of, you know.
• 18:45
You're you're you're banned from the channel because I just said
• 18:49
it anyway, 120. Then it went down when it's
• 18:53
  down. Here You're right, 8090.
• 18:56
It's good for gold. Then it went up.
• 18:57
Boop around 2000, right? And then it went back down.
• 19:03
Yeah. Anyway, and then now we're at
• 19:07
  1:05. Look at that.
• 19:09
  What's key to remember? Right.
• 19:11
That's 40 years, 40 years. And I roughly estimated, without
• 19:17
any scientific calculation that those blue.
• 19:19
Parts were were above 100 are only like 6-7 eight.
• 19:26
Years out of that Whole 40 years?
• 19:28
So where the and then And there's even more, there's a.
• 19:31
Double kicker about this, where the dollar is right now is is
• 19:36
traditionally high. There's a double, triple kicker.
• 19:39
I got to remember both of these #1.
• 19:43
It's just a tiny. Part of that 40 year that we've
• 19:46
been this high, so I. Think the argument can be made
• 19:48
the dollars high when the dollar goes back down?
• 19:51
That'll. Be good for gold and silver.
• 19:54
Oh, shoot. There was a double.
• 19:55
There's Well, the other kicker is this.
• 19:58
  China is. Irate about the.
• 20:01
Strong dollar. They are making all kinds of
• 20:04
noise. They're saying they're going to
• 20:06
  sell dollars. Sell.
• 20:07
Treasuries weren't. We know they're already doing
• 20:09
that. That they want to support.
• 20:11
There you want China is angry, guys.
• 20:14
China is the second biggest economy in the world.
• 20:17
China is part of this, but there's some new.
• 20:18
Organization that was formed. I've been hearing people talk
• 20:22
about it. Maybe some of you basement
• 20:23
dwellers know know what it's called?
• 20:25
Cinder blocks or I don't know Lego at all bricks.
• 20:31
That's right. Now we remember, right?
• 20:33
  They're they're becoming very powerful.
• 20:35
They don't like I missed the Super Chat.
• 20:38
I'll get to that. Thank you, Chris.
• 20:40
They don't like the fact that. Right now, right now that the
• 20:44
dollar is going up. So not only are we in a.
• 20:47
Position Oh, I know. The other double kicker.
• 20:50
  Triple kicker where? The dollar.
• 20:52
Is in in in in rare high territory.
• 20:55
But the Chinese are angry. Okay.
• 21:03
The other thing to remember, just as a gold and silver
• 21:06
investor, this is critical. I've talked about this.
• 21:09
You're a basement. Dweller, you may know this
• 21:11
already, but it bears for us to review.
• 21:13
That dollar index the DX. Y is an average, it's measuring
• 21:19
  the dollar against other currencies.
• 21:21
The, the the the the Japanese yen, the excuse me the euro
• 21:28
okay, it's like you've I'm okay it's like comparing the patients
• 21:32
in a Hospice ward or the best. Horse in the glue factory, OK.
• 21:37
It's like a teeter totter. You know what a teeter totter
• 21:40
is? Did you remember when you were a
• 21:41
  kid? It's good.
• 21:42
  It's good. We go.
• 21:43
Back to your childhood. Remember the teeter totter?
• 21:45
Right. You were on one side and a big
• 21:48
chunky kid Get on the other one and you went flying up and vice
• 21:52
versa. Anyway, it's also like a teeter.
• 21:55
Totter on one side, you got the. Dollar on the other side, you
• 21:57
got the. Euro, the in and everything else
• 21:59
and they go. Up and down.
• 22:00
They're like teeter totters, but the key.
• 22:02
To remember is that fulcrum, that center point, right?
• 22:05
That supports everything. If it were a teeter totter,
• 22:08
it's. Sinking into the sand, it
• 22:11
doesn't matter. Yeah, you're comparing them both
• 22:12
to each other, but they're both. Simultaneously going down in
• 22:16
value because of money printing because of the Jerome Powell's
• 22:20
of the world, the Federal Reserve.
• 22:22
And the whatever, Whatever her name is, Christina Lagarde,
• 22:25
Isn't that the head of the Euro Central Bank?
• 22:27
Whatever the heck they call it, they're.
• 22:29
All going down you you compare the teeter totter.
• 22:34
To gold and silver, which are solid.
• 22:36
Thank you, Sean are for the Super.
• 22:37
Chat my friend the way I like to talk about it.
• 22:40
Then I got to recognize the other super chat as well is
• 22:42
think about this guys. If there was a giant pile of
• 22:45
dollars, euros. And yen sitting next to you
• 22:48
right now in your house. OK, a giant pile.
• 22:51
Hey, you're Rich. Quote UN quote.
• 22:53
You got a bunch of. Paper.
• 22:54
Toilet paper, anyway. And that was all the euro.
• 22:58
Yen and and dollars in the world.
• 23:01
And there was also a pile of gold and.
• 23:03
Silver which was all the gold and.
• 23:05
Silver in the world, you can't print more gold and silver, but
• 23:10
  all those euros? And yens.
• 23:12
Heck, even back. Just in the little health
• 23:14
crisis. We had back in, thank you, Tony,
• 23:17
back in 2020. They increased the amount of
• 23:20
that paper by 40%. They can't increase the gold and
• 23:23
  silver. Remained essentially the same.
• 23:26
That's the critical key. Thing for us to remember.
• 23:29
  Thank you, Tony. Stilly.
• 23:31
And that the dollar historically is high, the DXY is high.
• 23:35
OK, hold on. I missed some super chats.
• 23:39
I apologize. I get a little carried away.
• 23:42
But take a deep breath. Sean R Thank you for the Super
• 23:44
chat, Tony Stilly. Jake, hey, hey Jake.
• 23:48
And then Jake right now, buddy, you get all the artwork.
• 23:52
I've got the other. One, I'm going to get them off
• 23:53
in the mail to you, my friend. Thank you.
• 23:56
So much. All right, guys. 11 more Thing
• 24:00
or two more things We need to talk Look, talk about OK and the
• 24:04
Chinese are mad. Let's just talk about the
• 24:06
overall. Stock markets we We aren't real.
• 24:10
  Technical right. I understand financials I I
• 24:14
would say, but I have a degree in accounting.
• 24:16
  I work for a BIG4 accounting firm.
• 24:17
Thank you shadow work. If you think that the.
• 24:21
General markets aren't in a bubble.
• 24:25
You got another thing coming now if you own Apple stock.
• 24:30
I'm not giving financial advice. I'm not giving.
• 24:33
But if you think these tech stocks aren't in bubble
• 24:36
territory. Let me give you a very easy
• 24:39
calculation, Apple. I did this this morning.
• 24:41
Apple Computer has almost a $3 trillion market cap.
• 24:47
That means all the stock they have when you combine it is
• 24:50
  worth $3 trillion. They're the They're trailing 12.
• 24:55
That means the last 12 months of sales that they've recorded.
• 24:59
If you put them all together, the last 12 months, 387 billion,
• 25:04
which is an impressive number, however.
• 25:07
The market cap of the company is 7 1/2 times their annual sales.
• 25:15
Let me put that in perspective. For you that means that if Apple
• 25:19
computer. OK, for the next 7 1/2 years was
• 25:23
and this is make believe. OK, but let's just say make
• 25:26
believe they were able to. Sell continue selling at that
• 25:30
rate and had no expenses, which again is fairy land.
• 25:34
It would take 7 1/2. Years for them to return the
• 25:37
money to their investors. OK, that's how crazy.
• 25:41
And out of whack I have to point this out.
• 25:44
This is a. Fact, you can look it up during
• 25:46
the tech bubble back in the late 90s, OK, after the tech bubble.
• 25:51
Burst Scott Mcneely, the CE 0. Of Sun Microsystems.
• 25:55
This is a famous interview that he.
• 25:57
Did he pointed out in his company, Sun Microsystems was
• 26:01
one of the tech bubble stocks. He said it was crazy.
• 26:05
What was going on? He said.
• 26:06
At one point, the value of Sun Microsystems got up to almost 10
• 26:11
times price to sales ratio. That's not.
• 26:15
Price to earnings guys, That's price to.
• 26:18
Sales, OK. And he said the same thing, he
• 26:21
said. That meant for 10 years if we
• 26:23
had no expenses. None, which is Fantasyland.
• 26:26
But Even so, it would take 10 years to for us to.
• 26:29
Return all that money to the investors.
• 26:32
He's like, it was insane and right now we have.
• 26:34
  Apple it's 7 1/2. I haven't looked at Microsoft.
• 26:37
I haven't looked at some of the other ones.
• 26:39
I I'm sure that they are in a lot of ways just as obscene.
• 26:44
And I just wanted to point out that if you apply those same
• 26:47
numbers to a lot of the. Precious metal mining stocks
• 26:49
like I looked at. Fortuna Silver, which is one
• 26:52
that I own. Fortuna, which put out great
• 26:56
news today. Great news earlier in the week.
• 26:59
OK. They're at a price to sales
• 27:01
  ratio. Around 1:00.
• 27:03
OK, if they were valued. The same way as Apple.
• 27:06
They would be 7 times higher. Man, you guys are awesome.
• 27:09
This has been great. I'm going to be back at 11.
• 27:11
I just got fired up this morning about what I'm seeing out there
• 27:15
in the Fed. We got a big deal coming, right?
• 27:18
What is it, a week from Wednesday of next week?
• 27:21
This is going to be critical to see how they play this.
• 27:24
During the next 10-12 days, we're going to go into what's
• 27:27
called a blackout. Period, in case you didn't know
• 27:29
what that means. That means all those Fed
• 27:31
governors can't talk. And I got to ring the cowbell
• 27:40
all you. Basement dwellers know that when
• 27:42
we get the 200 thumbs up, we ring the cowbell.
• 27:44
  I can't believe 500 of you. I am honored.
• 27:48
This has been awesome. It's going to be an interesting
• 27:51
two weeks as we. Head into this Fed beating, OK,
• 27:54
And again, blackout period, they won't be out.
• 27:57
You know, what they do is they send out all the the regional
• 28:00
Fed governors from St. Louis, Kansas City and San
• 28:03
Francisco and Boston, and they go to fancy lunches and they
• 28:06
deliver speeches that usually torpedoes the price of.
• 28:10
Gold and silver, as we know, especially over the.
• 28:12
Last two years we're heading into some interesting times.
• 28:16
We can't underestimate how oil. Is going to increase inflation.
• 28:21
Oil is skyrocketing right now. OK, if we get inflation while at
• 28:27
the same time a stagnating economy, you know, it's the S
• 28:31
word stagflation everybody's. Talking about it now, you know
• 28:35
you're a basement dweller you knew a little earlier.
• 28:38
And and and soon they're going to wake up to the next point,
• 28:42
which is stagflation means. Like nitrous oxide, I was never.
• 28:46
A race car guy, but some of my friends were, you know, nitrous
• 28:51
oxide for the price. Of silver and gold.
• 28:55
Hey guys, like I said. I'll be back in two hours.
• 28:58
I got a whole different subject to talk about.
• 29:00
Bricks, gold backed currency. I've got a new.
• 29:03
Perspective on what's going on. I learned something last night
• 29:06
that was it was one of those aha moments.
• 29:10
Regarding the bricks and the gold currency, I'm going to
• 29:13
share that with you. I had another one of those aha
• 29:15
moments yesterday when I was talking to Daniel Tinkum about
• 29:20
the gold standard and you know, and I shared this with you
• 29:25
yesterday for those of. You who missed it?
• 29:28
  I've. I've made this.
• 29:29
Argument that we've never really gone off the gold.
• 29:31
Standard in the world. And he brought up a good point
• 29:34
that even right now in the United States, you could say.
• 29:37
You know we're able our dollar we're.
• 29:40
Legally able to convert our paper.
• 29:44
You know Unicorn fart dust? We haven't said that for a
• 29:47
while, right? You're able to go to your coin
• 29:49
store and convert. Your paper into silver and gold.
• 29:53
The dollar is still. Being measured right now against
• 29:57
silver and gold, so you know to a certain.
• 30:00
We can argue that we're still in an environment where we have the
• 30:04
  gold standard. Oh boy.
• 30:06
Jake's custom parts. Thank you for your help, Annie
• 30:10
  Oakley. Let me.
• 30:13
Get a drink of coffee. I made some big improvements to
• 30:22
the Ron's basement show. It used to be I didn't have a
• 30:24
microphone I could mute, and people complained about my
• 30:26
slurping sound when I drank coffee.
• 30:28
I hope you enjoy the silence, Annie Oakley.
• 30:31
Thank you. Coin chop, Chris, you're the
• 30:34
  best. OK?
• 30:36
We're on quite a journey here guys.
• 30:40
Excuse me, Sean R thank you again for that super chat.
• 30:38
Jake's custom. 509 people were here this morning.
• 30:47
This has been awesome. Yeah, check out Pin Becks guys.
• 30:51
Thank you. OK, again, I'll see you in two
• 30:53
  hours. Take it easy.
• 30:54
You are, you are, you are the best, right?
• 30:59
This is a big deal that we get together.
• 31:03
OK, very nice people, very generous people.
• 31:07
Make friends with the other. People in the in the chat guys,
• 31:10
we've got a great group of. People, an awesome group of
• 31:13
moderators. We can't thank them enough.
• 31:16
OK, you can always go to my description.
• 31:19
If you want to help support the channel or support the
• 31:22
moderators, there's links there. But you know #1, what we're
• 31:26
doing here is coming together, helping each other, navigating
• 31:29
these choppy waters that we encounter.
• 31:31
I'll see you later on. Bye.
• 31:33
  Bye.
