  this franchise a lot. I think Texas Chainsaw is such

  an iconic franchise because of that first movie and even the

  second movie, because that's one that I think people will

  reference a lot. And I think it's really lived on

  the legacy of Leatherface as being such a scary and imposing
• 19:12
  character with not a lot else being said.

  And then so many different film makers were trying to, like,

  take that and do something with it, but also trying to figure

  out what it is that made the original so iconic in its way.

  And so we got just a lot of weird entries that ended up

  focusing on a lot of the same types of things.

  I liked how some of them picked up on different parts of the

  character, though. So you like you had some of the

  the brutality of Weatherface. And then you had some of them

  And I do like that one thing that was super consistent with

  all of them is that almost all of them involved somebody
