- 0:06Speaker 1: Trump is setting up to shock the markets with a
- 0:08Speaker 1: lot around the tariff news, but there's so much more
- 0:11Speaker 1: you guys don't want to miss it. My name is
- 0:12Speaker 1: Paul Barren. Welcome back in the tech path. Let's get started.

- 0:34Speaker 1: your crypto journey. And if you're brand new to crypto,
- 0:37Speaker 1: get out there and get you a few coins, buy
- 0:39Speaker 1: some bitcoin, a little bit of everything.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Just go for it. Let's go here, guys.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Big news just in white House says it's trade team
- 0:47Speaker 1: is meeting with thirty four countries this week to negotiate
- 0:51Speaker 1: new deals. There's a ton of deals that are on
- 0:54Speaker 1: the floor already agreed to, and another like eighty countries
- 0:57Speaker 1: that have a deal in principle. This is moving quickly
- 1:02Speaker 1: and very fast.
- 1:02Speaker 2: But the biggest news of the day. Is this right here?
- 1:05Speaker 1: China says it's open to resuming trade talks with the
- 1:08Speaker 1: United States.
- 1:09Speaker 2: They came in and now.
- 1:11Speaker 1: We see the setup with Trump of course meeting with
- 1:14Speaker 1: Gigiping next month. Maybe everyone we are finally at the
- 1:18Speaker 1: point of retracing these markets.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I want to go to this clip right here.
- 1:22Speaker 1: This is Trump talking about these fair deals that everybody's getting.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Take a look, and it'll be a fair deal for everybody,
- 1:30Speaker 3: and it'll be I think it's a process. It's going
- 1:32Speaker 3: to go pretty quickly. We're going to be very good
- 1:34Speaker 3: to China, have a great relationship with President Chi and
- 1:37Speaker 3: I think they're going to be happy, and I think
- 1:39Speaker 3: we're going to live together very happily and ideally work together.
- 1:43Speaker 3: So I think it's going to work out very well.
- 1:45Speaker 3: One hundred and forty five percent is very high. It
- 1:47Speaker 3: won't be that high. Not going to be that high. No,
- 1:50Speaker 3: it won't be anywhere near that high. But no, it's
- 1:52Speaker 3: at one hundred and forty five percent. There will not
- 1:54Speaker 3: be anywhere near that number. It'll come down substantially, but
- 1:57Speaker 3: it won't be zero. Are wanting to play hardball with
- 2:03Speaker 3: I'm not going to say I'm not going to say, oh,
- 2:04Speaker 3: I'm going to play hardball with China. I'm going to
- 2:06Speaker 3: play hardball with you President She No, No, We're going
- 2:10Speaker 3: to be very nice.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Hey, listen, that's all that I think the Chinese we're
- 2:14Speaker 1: looking for is a little bit of respect. They understand
- 2:17Speaker 1: there is a trade and balance. They're not These guys
- 2:19Speaker 1: are smart people. But I think Trump is in a
- 2:22Speaker 1: position now he can either win this or he can
- 2:24Speaker 1: blow it now. Right now, he's retraced pretty quickly off
- 2:28Speaker 1: of where he was. But for him to move in
- 2:31Speaker 1: this position, he is good for markets. We're already starting
- 2:33Speaker 1: to see that. Obviously, Bitcoin up to almost ninety five
- 2:36Speaker 1: ninety four as we were speaking. Here's a clip right
- 2:39Speaker 1: quick on Scott Besstt. This will get into a little
- 2:41Speaker 1: bit more of the details.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Take a look what I have said previously. There is
- 2:46Speaker 4: an opportunity for a big deal here that the US
- 2:51Speaker 4: is looking to rebalance two more manufacturing. The identity of
- 2:57Speaker 4: that would be less consumption. If China is serious on
- 3:03Speaker 4: less dependence on export lead manufacturing growth and a rebalancing
- 3:09Speaker 4: toward a domestic economy. I think they use the term
- 3:13Speaker 4: dual circulation. Well, it's right now, it's really singular circulation.
- 3:19Speaker 4: And if they want to rebalance, let's do it together.
- 3:23Speaker 4: This is an incredible opportunity. I think if the Bridgewater
- 3:29Speaker 4: founder Ray Dalio were to write something, he could call
- 3:32Speaker 4: it a beautiful rebalancing.
- 3:35Speaker 1: All right, So there is something here that is worth mentioning.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And I think this.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Is maybe a intriguing analysis in the sense of when
- 3:46Speaker 1: you look at rebalancing manufacturing. Let's just assume that the
- 3:49Speaker 1: US comes to a deal with China, it looks like
- 3:52Speaker 1: it's going to happen, and you have some rebalancing. China's
- 3:56Speaker 1: over here saying yeah, you know, our trading balance is there.
- 3:58Speaker 1: We see that we're going to going to really grow
- 4:00Speaker 1: in this area where I'm afraid that China will grow
- 4:05Speaker 1: is in the AI side of things. That is a
- 4:08Speaker 1: completely different strategy. If they move their efforts off of
- 4:12Speaker 1: manufacturing you know, plastic parts for the US markets and
- 4:16Speaker 1: say yeah, you can have that, and they focus all
- 4:19Speaker 1: of that effort on AI. Have we just set China
- 4:23Speaker 1: up to get in more productivity into one of the
- 4:27Speaker 1: most advanced and most important technologies that we have ever
- 4:31Speaker 1: experienced as a human race.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Maybe we have overplayed a hand here right now, unless,
- 4:37Speaker 1: of course, the United States is gearing up, you know,
- 4:40Speaker 1: in a big way to really start to move heavily
- 4:42Speaker 1: into AI development.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I think that's a big factor.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Now, what's another thing that you have to worry about
- 4:47Speaker 1: right now with the markets? Well, the other issue was,
- 4:49Speaker 1: of course chair Palell he was on the hot seat
- 4:52Speaker 1: or isy.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Take a look at this clip.
- 4:56Speaker 3: None whatsoever, Never did he press runs away with things.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Now I have no intention of firing him. I would
- 5:04Speaker 3: like to see him be a little more active in
- 5:06Speaker 3: terms of his idea to lower interest rates. Just a
- 5:09Speaker 3: perfect time to lower interest rates. If he doesn't is
- 5:13Speaker 3: at the end to know it's not, but it would
- 5:15Speaker 3: be good timing. But no, I have no intention to
- 5:17Speaker 3: fire him.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Well, I don't understand it's okay.
- 5:23Speaker 1: This clip shocks me because Trump has said he was
- 5:29Speaker 1: going to fire him, and now all of a sudden
- 5:30Speaker 1: he's okay.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Now I'm really confused here. This is the president of
- 5:35Speaker 2: the United States. Guys.
- 5:36Speaker 1: We probably need a little more clarity and a little
- 5:38Speaker 1: bit more confidence in how to deal with these situations
- 5:42Speaker 1: as they are. I'm sure it was a situation where
- 5:44Speaker 1: a bunch of his billionaire buddies called him up and said,
- 5:47Speaker 1: you fire Powell. That is a problem that shambles in
- 5:50Speaker 1: the market. And of course all of him and the
- 5:52Speaker 1: White House backtracking this right here. Not a good look
- 5:56Speaker 1: for President Trump in reality, not a good look, guys.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But let's just take a look at the timeline, and this,
- 6:01Speaker 1: of course was on April seventh, bad chair Pal, slow moving,
- 6:06Speaker 1: April fourteen, Trump Admin thinking of a successor, and then
- 6:10Speaker 1: April seventeenth, ched chair Pal will be out of here.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean that sounds like you're out of here, you're fired, okay,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and then he's a major loser. That's just insults. I'll
- 6:19Speaker 1: live with that one. And then today no intention to firepower.
- 6:24Speaker 1: This is a roller coaster of a ride coming out
- 6:27Speaker 1: of this White House right now. But while all of
- 6:30Speaker 1: that happened, one other thing happened. Bitcoin gets on a
- 6:35Speaker 1: rocket ship and starts launching up till around ninety four
- 6:38Speaker 1: k right now. It's pushing the total market cap for
- 6:42Speaker 1: crypto up to three trillion. And you look at a
- 6:44Speaker 1: couple of points in here, let me zoom in on
- 6:46Speaker 1: that for you, guys, it's really small. Despite this enthusiasm,
- 6:49Speaker 1: a lot of people are advising investors to exercise caution.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think this is just normal and any of this
- 6:54Speaker 1: because there you know how bitcoin moves, It moves up
- 6:57Speaker 1: and then it retraces twenty percent.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yes, it can happen.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Scott Besson also signaled that the de escalation with Beijing
- 7:05Speaker 1: with Trump, he downplayed the speculation about removing Chair Powell,
- 7:09Speaker 1: which I think it is clear now. They got some
- 7:12Speaker 1: phone calls. They got some phone calls. The White House
- 7:15Speaker 1: got some phone calls in the sense of get out
- 7:18Speaker 1: of my money. It feels like we've maxed out on
- 7:22Speaker 1: the tariff related fear. I agree with that to a
- 7:25Speaker 1: certain extent. But watch it, guys, Watch for these black swans,
- 7:28Speaker 1: watch for these crazy things that apparently are still coming out.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But maybe, just maybe Trump is settling back in and
- 7:36Speaker 1: is done with this shakunaw approach and is going to
- 7:39Speaker 1: start negotiating in a normal fashion that can be anticipated
- 7:45Speaker 1: to a certain extent by these markets.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Right here. US bitcoin et aps just went through a
- 7:51Speaker 2: shopping spree.
- 7:52Speaker 1: This is a big deal because another ten thousand bitcoin
- 7:55Speaker 1: was snapped up on April twenty seconds, biggest daily by
- 7:58Speaker 1: since his inauguration. And when you look at this on
- 8:02Speaker 1: where we were thinking was a little bit more quiet accumulation.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Now not so quiet, man. We are clicking along and
- 8:09Speaker 1: if you look at the ETFs right here, that's the ethereum.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But look at this one. Look at that that chart
- 8:14Speaker 1: right there, that's the Bitcoin ETF total inflow nine hundred
- 8:18Speaker 1: and twelve million. Eth also took a nice little run,
- 8:22Speaker 1: though not even near what we're seeing right now at Bitcoin,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and a lot of people are looking at is there
- 8:29Speaker 1: maybe a strategy now where Eth could be in a
- 8:31Speaker 1: position to take on a little bit of a revenge run.
- 8:36Speaker 1: In terms of the market itself, Eth added another impressive
- 8:39Speaker 1: twelve percent to its market cap last twenty four on
- 8:42Speaker 1: chain data points to only modest resistance. This means we
- 8:46Speaker 1: could see another two k Eth coming in what off
- 8:48Speaker 1: zero or what if the zone gives away and moves
- 8:51Speaker 1: back toward a psychological two k. That's where I think
- 8:55Speaker 1: the reality of ethereum is until we see a true run,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and if ethereum does get past that, that may be
- 9:02Speaker 1: enough Jeff fuel to get it going into a bull run.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Let's go to a couple other points. This is interesting.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Besson is now saying that Trump is not offered to
- 9:11Speaker 1: take down US tariffs on China, even though the clips
- 9:14Speaker 1: said that he's willing to start working clearly and it's
- 9:17Speaker 1: not going to be near these crazy numbers that he
- 9:19Speaker 1: put on it. But I think they're throwing this two
- 9:23Speaker 1: to three year thing out just as kind of like
- 9:26Speaker 1: I don't want to develop any expectations. That's managing expectations.
- 9:31Speaker 1: That's a little extent. But you got to remember this
- 9:33Speaker 1: as Besson, he's a hedge fun guy. He understands manage expectations.
- 9:37Speaker 1: If they get it done in six months, they're going
- 9:39Speaker 1: to look like heroes. Oh we thought it was going
- 9:40Speaker 1: to take two or three years, but we're such good
- 9:42Speaker 1: deal makers, you know, we did it in six months.
- 9:46Speaker 1: That is how they're playing this. Just like one hundred
- 9:48Speaker 1: and forty five percent all was not really one hundred
- 9:50Speaker 1: and forty five percent. It's going to be much much
- 9:52Speaker 1: lower than that. So this is I don't know if
- 9:55Speaker 1: this is part of the deal or a used car salesman.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I'm not sure which it is. Over in crypto land,
- 10:01Speaker 1: you got PayPal of course, entering in a little bit
- 10:03Speaker 1: of a shake up right now. In the stable coin market,
- 10:06Speaker 1: they're adding in three point seven interest rewards. This is PayPal,
- 10:10Speaker 1: guys adding interest rewards on PYUSD. Times are changing banks.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Your time is up. You're going to have to get
- 10:20Speaker 1: in the game. PayPal is starting to move. Likelihood is
- 10:22Speaker 1: we're going to see Robin Hood right behind him on
- 10:24Speaker 1: their heels offering. What we will see is stable coin
- 10:29Speaker 1: yield in your exchange and brokerage accounts.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Be on the lookout for that. That's coming.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Let's go over to the SEC because Paul Atkins got
- 10:38Speaker 1: sworn in.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Paul has also been a leader in the emerging crypto
- 10:42Speaker 3: and blockchain industries and served as co chair of the
- 10:46Speaker 3: Digital Chambers Token Alliance. He's the perfect man to leave
- 10:50Speaker 3: this agency at the time when crypto innovators are urgently
- 10:54Speaker 3: in need of and they want so badly, they want
- 10:57Speaker 3: it to happen. Regulatory certainty and clear rules of the road.
- 11:02Speaker 4: So help me, guys, So help me God. Graduation.
- 11:07Speaker 1: All right, that is reality, people, It has set in.
- 11:11Speaker 1: We now have a pro crypto SEC chairman.
- 11:16Speaker 2: That is a big deal.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Just set back and take that in for a minute,
- 11:20Speaker 1: because this has been a hard two and a half
- 11:23Speaker 1: years with Gary Gensler at the head and the attack
- 11:27Speaker 1: and also choke point level of tactics that have been
- 11:31Speaker 1: pushed onto this market. You will see I believe a
- 11:35Speaker 1: face rapper coming into this next run. Of course, all
- 11:37Speaker 1: of this depends on, you know what we're going to
- 11:40Speaker 1: see in the macro markets. Yes, there's still pressure on inflation,
- 11:43Speaker 1: there's still pressure on a global environment, but this could
- 11:47Speaker 1: be the beginning of a little bit of a recovery.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So back to Larry Fink, he said that we've been
- 11:52Speaker 1: in a recession for a few months. Maybe that was
- 11:54Speaker 1: the shortest recession ever. We'll see how this all plays out.
- 11:58Speaker 1: President Trump also is hosting a with his two hundred
- 12:00Speaker 1: and fifty biggest holders of his meme coin Trump, So
- 12:03Speaker 1: he has delivered on a meme coin that.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Now has utility. The Trump token has utility.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You get to go to a dinner with Trump if
- 12:13Speaker 1: you hold the Trump token. This is crazy, that's cool
- 12:16Speaker 1: that it's happening.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Very nice.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Midas Touch of course jumps in on this. And this
- 12:21Speaker 1: is all about Tesla, and this is a big deal
- 12:24Speaker 1: because it relates to doge. And what I'm getting at
- 12:28Speaker 1: here is the net income in Q one plunged seventy
- 12:31Speaker 1: one percent. Global backlash everybody's talking about this. Elon Musk
- 12:35Speaker 1: takes its toll. It's been a problem right now. Some
- 12:38Speaker 1: of the research out there obviously is showing this. It
- 12:41Speaker 1: is going to happen. Elon Musk is going to reportedly
- 12:43Speaker 1: step down from DOGE and this will be a big deal, guys.
- 12:47Speaker 1: This will be huge for Tesla. Tesla of course, is
- 12:49Speaker 1: just bounced on that news alone, even though they were
- 12:52Speaker 1: losing money on their quarterly earnings, and Tesla in general,
- 12:57Speaker 1: all of their cars have been losing value.
- 12:59Speaker 2: In the market.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Crazy evs across the board are starting to really take
- 13:05Speaker 1: a hit, and of course, I think with Elon Musk,
- 13:06Speaker 1: the the willy Wonka of evs getting back into building
- 13:11Speaker 1: cars is gonna be a good thing. All right, Let's
- 13:13Speaker 1: jump over to charts real quick. We'll take a look
- 13:15Speaker 1: at a few things. Obviously, Bitcoin, nice move here on Bitcoin.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Over the last two weeks.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It has really come back with a vengeance. You look
- 13:25Speaker 1: at Ethereum also starting to break out of this trend
- 13:27Speaker 1: line that we're looking at right here on the daily
- 13:30Speaker 1: now up to eighteen hundred, which if we see that
- 13:33Speaker 1: two thousand, get ready, guys, we could see a big run.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Solana also on a nice move over the last two weeks.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Avalanche a little bit flat but is starting to see
- 13:41Speaker 1: a little bit of a breakout at around twenty two bucks.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Others that have been on the move has been Sweet
- 13:47Speaker 1: Sweet absolutely starting something big. Could we just see this
- 13:51Speaker 1: four dollars range starting to come back into potential here
- 13:55Speaker 1: on Sweet. You can kind of see a little bit
- 13:57Speaker 1: of erratic nature right now in the s and P
- 14:00Speaker 1: after this news that seems to be trending up at least,
- 14:04Speaker 1: because it looks like we've hit our bottom back here
- 14:06Speaker 1: on April eighth and April seventh to where we are
- 14:10Speaker 1: right now.
- 14:10Speaker 2: The other thing, Gold, of.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Course, retraced a big retrace, So kudos to you guys
- 14:15Speaker 1: that were out there shorting Gold, and I know a
- 14:17Speaker 1: few of you that were Total three also a breakout.
- 14:21Speaker 1: So this is all bullish news guys right now. And
- 14:24Speaker 1: if we take a look at Taesla. Let's go in
- 14:26Speaker 1: and take a look at Tasla real quick. There's the
- 14:28Speaker 1: bounce right there off the bottom. But look at this, guys,
- 14:31Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty dollars on Tasla. These are some
- 14:35Speaker 1: you know, I mean, you got to go back into
- 14:37Speaker 1: October of last year pre election, all of that juice
- 14:41Speaker 1: has been squeezed and we are now maybe at a
- 14:45Speaker 1: time where Tesla can do a little bit of a recovery. Overall,
- 14:49Speaker 1: this is kind of showing you some of the earnings.
- 14:51Speaker 1: But look at that. I mean, that's a chart that
- 14:53Speaker 1: might be setting up. And if Elon is getting back
- 14:56Speaker 1: in to building cars and building rockets, maybe there is
- 15:00Speaker 1: a move here.
- 15:01Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Will you guys forgive Elon for his misgivings in Doze
- 15:06Speaker 1: or was he just trying to do something? Well, let
- 15:08Speaker 1: me know in the comments. You guys, if you're not
- 15:10Speaker 1: in the Diamond circle, get in on that. It's a
