- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys!
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to another episode.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_01]: Today I'm doing something very different.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm standing up during the whole episode.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: You are not going to be doing all that because it's going to make me dizzy.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Just kind of standing?
- 0:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because you know what you do, like if you got to go pee or something like that, and you just, yo, yo, he's on different everything.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: No, this is the cool thing about audio episodes.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can do whatever you want
- 0:39[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I wouldn't say on the video episodes I'm particularly like wanting to do anything except we sit down.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I am.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you go ahead and stand.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_03]: I for one am kind of like almost laying down because I made the mistake of going too long without food.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_03]: We kind of had a random breakfast.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like as in, we didn't really have breakfast.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: What did you have for breakfast?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_03]: Because I feel like we shared a ham and cheese baggett.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but we're not a nice walk this morning.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_03]: He went a nice morning walk.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_03]: It was the sun was out this morning.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: The sun was out.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: So anytime the sun is out, you have to, I want to do that more often.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: When we start today, I don't want to look at screens.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to get on the board.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to go outside.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: And we ran into a beautiful couple earlier.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: Today, if you're listening, shout out to you.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: It was nice chatting.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: At the park.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then, what do we do?
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: We came home.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we sat on the bench, we got the sandwich and we were eating it.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: The sandwich kind of hard.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of hard.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the bagget, like Loki kind of hurts my mouth.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like the corner.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_03]: The flavor gets good.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: Chewy for a while.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: I never want to chew for a while.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the bag is so crunchy, you know, it's like, I hate eating bread in a sandwich where the the bite like hurts the top of your mouth Well, you're mouth My food never goes up there.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: How do you eat?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_03]: Which means the roof of your mouth is like right here.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like the food never touches that for me
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'd be taking big bites, I guess.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's no way it doesn't touch.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's like right out of your teeth.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't touch enough for me to hurt it.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_03]: Basically, what ended up happening is we didn't really have a proper breakfast and I kind of forgot.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: And then I had a meeting.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_03]: So I went into the city.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_03]: I had a meeting shout out to Selena.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: You want to speak up a little bit, I feel like you're, you're, um, no, people can hear me.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_03]: Um, if you're listening to this right now, it was a lovely, uh, meaning.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Shout to Selena.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_03]: I hope that's, I actually didn't ask her in the moment how to save your name.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just assuming.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's probably Selena.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's S.A. L.E.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_03]: N.A.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's Selena.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so yeah, if you're listening to this hi recording this right after we met but after after I had a meeting with her How was the city?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: What was the vibe?
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: No, the vibe was great which like maybe not mind having to be outside even though it also It was cold in the morning.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_03]: It was like 40-ish degrees, but then it got a little bit warmer and yeah, it was lovely
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think we can tell where we're going.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, because you'd love to do this thing where we're going somewhere.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: And you're just gonna have to see on the ground like not on the ground.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's a lot.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to the Scotland.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_03]: I know we just got back from Mexico, but then the Scotland trip is a work trip.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just like I just wanted to leave again, and also Scotland isn't like a hot place.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: If anything, it might be colder if not as cold as it is in New York right now.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you might like hot place as in like a hot destination.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, like a popular, it is a very popular destination.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: Are you thinking so?
- 3:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's basically like the highlands where we're going to go on the countryside.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's a very popular.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: I never thought about going there or that I would ever be there.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm very excited because it's something, I feel like it's something very different.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's I know it's gonna be such an experience, can be very beautiful.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna have some good content for you guys to chat about.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you just wanted to say we're gonna have some good whiskey.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean that too, and I think it's scotch.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like any whiskey that's made in Scotland is technically scotch.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it's called scotch.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_03]: You haven't had any?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: Scotch specifically no.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not really a big whiskey drinker, but we are going on to whiskey like towards.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not a big drinker in general, but I am, but I mean you're going to scotch on you got to try that.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: You have to.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: But do we have any listeners from Scotland?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: We will have to look into our demographic and see.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if you're from Scotland, let us know.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: Comment down below.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm very excited.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be there for about eight days.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: And it's going to be a really fun trip, especially because we're going to be in the city and in the country.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be in the city.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: Our next episode will be another on location episode coming straight from Scotland.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're down to do that.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's got to, since people like the Mexico one, when we're in Mexico City, then we just got to bring the mics.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: We'll do a nice little on the fly recording.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: When we see it, that means that would be the last episode of this season.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_03]: No, we have one up more after that.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, this is a one, 9, 9, 9, 8.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: P.E.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: So there's one in the eye and then 200 is beef.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, perfect, perfect, okay, cool, cool, cool.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but I say it all, that's a say that I had to go get a waterproof jacket because all of my jackets are not waterproof.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: So I kind of use that as an excuse to get sort of a nice rain jacket.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_03]: I was looking at the Arctic's ones, but those are insane.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like, why are they $400?
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's really nice though.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if anybody's a working day and you listen to this, let's like hit us up, let's do something.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because you guys, those prices are actually like the other day.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was the last time we went there together and we were looking at this thin jacket.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're all thin.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: 700 dollars.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: What is any?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_03]: That was a ski jacket.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_03]: So it wasn't thin.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_03]: It was it had like some insulation stuff.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: This one was just strictly a rain jacket like a rain shell.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: How much was it?
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: It was $400.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and it was really nice though.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like after looking at I didn't get that one.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: I got a picture of it or no.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: that the crazy things you can't even try it on because they have it, they have this like security wire that goes through all the jackets so you can't like snatch it.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: But you could do the other ones.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I could try all the other ones.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I think you're supposed to ask someone to take it off the thing for you.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's great.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_03]: Try it on.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's really extra.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: So I didn't even try it on because I also knew that if I were to try it on, it was going to ruin all the other jackets for me.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_03]: So I ended up going with like an RRI brand jacket, which I still really like.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: RRI is really nice.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's kind of like buying the, like, I think it's not a branded jacket.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's not like cool.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's, I think it's not about you make a cool.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I wanted to wear.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my ski jackets.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, my ski jacket is some Columbia, but my ski pants are from Riai.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they're really nice.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think I make them cool.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: You do.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: You do.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: I do think there's a very it's really interesting like the whole gorp core hike core
- 7:45[SPEAKER_03]: aesthetic, especially like fashion is really interesting.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_03]: I never really tapped into that.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of like it.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of like it.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm excited to put together some Gorp core.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: Ish.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: What do you call Gorp core?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_03]: Gorp core.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, like Gorp
- 8:09[SPEAKER_03]: is like, it's like the style of wearing that sort of outfit of like swishy pants.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_03]: I do like jackets.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of arctics, a lot of like band Dana with like sporty sunglasses.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_03]: And like that type of style.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's called Gorpcore.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: I was into it without even knowing what it's called.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but you don't really wear that type of stuff, though.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, all my supreme stuff, like my supreme jacket, that I wear all the time, the black one, that could be.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_03]: You would wear that with, with like, the pants also have to fit that vibe.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like, Gorp Core is gone once you put on jeans.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I'm not doing that.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I am, but I know what you're saying.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: But I mean, maybe not though, because if you were, if I wore the new jacket that I got with jeans, technically, it's still considered Gorp Core because,
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: like a rain jacket as like a stylish thing.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Gorp core.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why I can't like my mouth can't say you're right.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Gorp.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: Gorp core.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, core is like core, like it's like core of something.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: English is one of those languages, and I'll remember when I was learning, there's just some words, even today, that I just can't, like my mouth doesn't move that way.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, like I can't, like for example, saying the world, well, saying the word, the girls, world, I can't say world, like the whole world, right?
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like I'm really focused on them saying world.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: World.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's always like the R and the L's.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you're out there learning English, maybe you feel me, but it's, it's bad.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: There's many other words.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_03]: Girl.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: Girl for some reason I say, girl.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you say, girl.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't even pronounce the L. Yeah.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: You just like GR.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: GR.
- 9:54[UNKNOWN]: GR.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_03]: There are few words that do do get do get you.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a little bit scared when we're gonna be in Scotland I'm gonna be you.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: I I thought that the city Edinburgh
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it's like, you only say like that if you're speaking, you know, like English from the UK.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: Edinburgh.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_03]: Edinburgh.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_03]: But so then I thought like if you're speaking, you know, American from the US, American from the US, if you're speaking English from the US, you would be saying, Edinburgh.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I thought it was Edinburgh okay, but it's not but you it's not nobody says edemberg even you're what is you think American English You should say edemberg edembr.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Edembr.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Edembr.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I don't know why I need to say edembr.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_03]: It sounds like I'm making fun of the accent
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think so because you don't even, you don't even put like any sauce on it.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: You should say, Eddie, I feel like I have in my mind, I'm putting sauce on it.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_03]: How?
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: Edinburgh?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_03]: Edinburgh.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: But when it's spelled with an RGH.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: I want to hear, I want to hear someone from near, say it, and also I know there's like a whole different accent, like it's not the UK in this, in Scotland, yeah, it's a whole different accent.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's going to be a little bit hard to understand sometimes.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Because it's not like a British sounding like what we're used to, but I've been obsessed with saying in it at the end of almost everything else.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but the way you say it sounds like you're saying in it.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, in it is where you're trying to say, yeah, I know, but the way they say it is just IN and IT.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: in it.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it sounds like you're just saying in it.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: And that's like in what?
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, but that's how you say it.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but because you don't have the accent, you're saying straight up in it.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yoni's been listening to a lot of Central Sea.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to Central Sea, in case you're listening to this.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: This is not.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: Check your DM's bro, okay?
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: I sent you a mint.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm just kidding.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: I did it.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: You find an EM from Yoni that is so something like.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: In it.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's something like I'm a big fan, bro.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_03]: What is it about guys?
- 12:13[SPEAKER_03]: I've I've never seen this online.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: That is like you go in your boyfriend's DMs or something and you see That he DM'd like I don't know Drake.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Drake with like happy birthday bro.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of weird in it's like Like why did you do you have a happy birthday?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't never DMed us a celebrity happy birthday.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Are you crazy?
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: I just think it's fun.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever done that?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: No Have you ever DMed a celebrity just period?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: No
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what would you even say and what's the point?
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what is the point?
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think I DM some celebrities in the past.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't be surprised.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do you wanna ask me a who?
- 12:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care that much to be honest.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but maybe this is one or no who I DM'd.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, do you remember who you DM?
- 12:56[SPEAKER_03]: Do you want to just tell us?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to answer you's clear that you want to tell us who you DM Back in the day I DMed Amber Rose on Instagram You've heard the story there Um, I DMed like a few basketball players that I wanted to like shoot shoot forward I've got a way to sleep for I feel like you DMed I never, no, even though like me at Whiskley for really could be friends You know, there's a few celebrities that I feel like we could really be friends
- 13:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, you only has this, like, delusional thing that he thinks he could be best friends with.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_03]: No, let's call.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, let me tell you.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think he could be best friends with Tyler the creator, which I see that one.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Um, who else?
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: You could be best friends.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to say best friends, don't like.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you could be besties.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_03]: That better.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I think me and Justin Bieber could be really good friends.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_03]: I see that, yeah.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: You and Justin.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: But you know celebrities, I don't look at them like they're, they're just regular people.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they just have this job that everybody knows, but I don't look at them like, oh my god, you're like a, uh, yours, you're above it.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're just really rich.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: They just like really rich and really famous, which kind of makes you a little different than us, but yeah, so they're not like us.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but anyways, today's episode was just about...
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of about a topic that we talked about, but I think I kind of like to just talk about ran and stream some of them.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: You know, my strategy with today's episode was that eventually we would get to the topic, with letting people know what the topic is, and it's just like... Yeah.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about it.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but now you made it.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: You made it a thing.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: So I guess we're just getting into it.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I can connect it to Well, what happened after are you?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: I you went.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't like it.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, what I did today, you guys.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_03]: So after are you.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_03]: I spent like probably an hour and a half in there looking at you trying all the two hours.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: I was trying all the jackets in the upsetting set set.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: take a time.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: And then I'm settling on to one.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why I wanted you to get the orange jacket is because I was just envisioning this is purely selfishly from my own creative mind.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking because she sent me a photo of a bright orange jacket and then like a black one and a navy one, right?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean the blue one is a navy.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like a green blue like two
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: medium.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I got I was talking to the guy there and I was telling him how like do people usually size up in these because
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: I had a whole sweater on and I'm thinking it's going to be cold and the point of this is to be a shell.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_03]: They can put on top of, you know, like a jacket or something else.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I ended up getting a medium-sized waterproof windproof jacket from REI.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_03]: I wish I could tell you, it's like a three-layer jacket.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I still have to see you.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's in the bag somewhere.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_03]: But I ended up getting the blue color.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: So the reason why I want you to get the orange one is because I knew that I would be taking a lot of photos and for some reason especially when we're like in the highlands.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like the country side.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's going to because it is kind of going to be like a moody, like a gray.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you wanted to have that strong.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, and I'm also envisioning
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of grass in greenery in the background with like for some reason like some animals like cows do you think it's gonna be just like on a set right but then you in the middle of the frame or wherever with with like a pop or or a pop of orange in a setting like that just looks really really nice I agree but that's why it's when you ask me for the calls I'll just like get the orange one
- 16:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I also asked my mom and my sister and they said that blue one.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you asked them too?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: I thought those don't do special one.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I went with the blue just because like if I'm going to buy this jacket, you know, and invest in just having a good quality like rain jacket, I wanted to get a color that I won't get tired of and it's like the orange I will get tired of.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like when you go shopping for something for a specific trip,
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: that you don't usually make, you kind of want to get something that you could wear when you're back home.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I want to wear it again.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's like this is a jacket that I could definitely wear.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_03]: like in a gorp core type of way, in a gorp core type of way, um, and yeah, where it was like it looked really nice with the jeans that I'm wearing right now.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, and I'm also like, I was anytime I go into REI, I'm just some people.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: The happens and I'm like, I wish, like, I kind of want to get into this.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I want to get into this, like outdoorsy, like, let me get my gear together and go on an expedition.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like go somewhere and just like get dirty, you know?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just like, let's be cold.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Let's like, I don't know about being cold.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about being cold, but I'm down to get dirty.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like let's have a bunch, let's have like a thermos with coffee.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_03]: And it's the type of thermostat, the lid is a cup.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be cold.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: I want to do all that but not being cold.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, this has to be cold.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_03]: We can be we can start off like a little chilly, but then through our you know journey we take our jacket off and then you have like your band in on your head.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: You have your backpack on your back.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: But my main thing about that is that I have to get some mud on my pants, my shoes, something about that.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't like care about that necessarily.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to see like really nice reviews.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to eat like food that I packed in like a little top of where I'm at.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't want to care about my clothes getting dirty.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you don't have to.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so for people who don't know what REI is, it's a big store that's all about our store's stuff.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: So skin, hiking, cycling, yeah, they replaced all the hiking gear.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, all the skig gear that was there through the winter, now it's gone.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, like seasonally, obviously change.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_03]: So now it's all like a bunch of bikes.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: I need to go over there.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: And cycling gear, now you texted me.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: She was like, this is all cycling gear.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: You need to come back.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_03]: If you want to go camping, if you want to go, like, they have tents.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_03]: They have so much stuff.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's a kind of sports, but specifically outdoorsy sports.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I could really get into that at some point.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_03]: I want to get into it.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_03]: I want to go to like a really beautiful like this the Scotland trip.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_03]: If we were going, it happens that we are going at the end of March.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_03]: So the weather is going to be a little iffy.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_03]: I think in general, the weather is not the greatest, like even in the summer, the weather can change quite drastically it seems.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_03]: but I think this will be our first taste of sort of even though we're not doing any big like we're not doing like a backpacking trip or anything.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be a good experience to just you know like have a car, have like snacks in the car, have all of our swishy like clothing on and just see some beautiful beautiful sights, you know.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's so exciting for this.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm smiling the whole time you're saying it.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's gonna be fun.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: I am a little nervous for the driving, right?
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: for the driving.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: I know you guys drive on the left side of the road, but I wonder if the car that we'll get is it going to be on the right side, like the steering wheel?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_03]: I kept saying I'm going to ask them for that.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: And we also have to make sure that the car is automatic because if we get there and give us the key and the car is not, I'm sorry guys, I don't drive manual, I never learned.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: I never had to learn because the first time I ever drove was in America and then you know, you, everything is automatic here.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just specifically want to learn manual.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: So they didn't ask me, so I do, I would be really like, I would be really,
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Um, disappointed.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_03]: No, I would be really surprised if they, like, they asked me about so many other things when they booked all this and I would be surprised if they didn't ask.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: If they would have just assumed that we know, you know how to drive away.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would honestly say that's a pretty bad assumption, but driving on the left side of the road, I don't think that's going to be a big deal.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just got to get used to, um, turning.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like you always turn.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: closer to you.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like if we're turning left, stay on the left side, right?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm used to turning left, like here when you turn left, you go to the right side of the next lane.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_03]: When you turn left, you go to the, to the, oh, that's so trippy.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, we'll see, but I'm very excited about driving.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: If anybody has any tips about, I think you just got to get comfortable with it.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's no tips.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what tips are you going to watch the road, bro?
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but anyways, after I went to REI, I also tried on some hiking shoes, but then I was like, I'm doing too much.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need that.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'm okay.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's she was like $200 for just shoes.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: But something that you're not really, what did I say in the text?
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: I sent you a camera.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: I said, you're not really about that life.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Like I'm not really that into hiking to to get that.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_03]: And also I have like my Solomon instead of had fruit.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I just wish that I knew that they made them in a waterproof version.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_03]: So I would have just bought the waterproof version.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: They do right.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I can go Solomon today.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: I might not.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I'll sell mine and get like I won't point upgrade to the same.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like I just like the black ones, but get them waterproof.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_03]: So at least I know like that.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but yeah, and then after I, I was so hungry, so, um, I asked you only if you wanted me to pick up lunch, and I got this bowl, which if you don't know, it's a lunch place from, uh, Australia that opened in New York, maybe one or two years ago.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, saying it's a chain gives it kind of like a bad vibe, but it's, well, in general, a chain to me, it's not something that sounds good.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but see, it has multiple locations.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't say it's a chain though.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_03]: I go call McDonald's Starbucks.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's a chain.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I just want to say just because something is a chain doesn't make it not good.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: Mmm, debatable.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_03]: Let us know in the comments what you think.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_03]: If you think if a place is a chain That's does that make it Slightly less good.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, have you ever had Chick-fil-A?
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, is it good?
- 23:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's fine.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now you're just fighting against what's in other chain that you would say is like fine McDonald's french fries Okay McDonald's is not in a game.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's not a good chain, dude
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: who is the most popular and successful chain.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and then so I went to this bowl.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: I got it if you ever go, if you're New York.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: They're opening.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: There are several locations, but the one I went to is in snow, and the OG bull would salmon is really, really good.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: So we got that, and then I came back home and hailed this in a minute.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I inhaled that bull in probably like,
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: seven minutes and it's a big bowl too.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: Like I also if I would have taken my time out of realized that I'm already full and I shouldn't eat anymore because like I'm not hungry but because I was eating it so fast my stomach didn't have enough time to, you know, signal my brain you're good.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: So I ate the entire thing and now the reason why I'm telling you the story is because I was saying, Yoni was standing up, I am kind of laying down because I am so full,
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's okay, that's fine, but I do want to get into today's episode, which is about how come we are not tired of being around each other literally 24, 7, I would say.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was, when I was having my meeting with Selena and we were talking about different things, I was saying how you and I literally,
- 25:29[SPEAKER_03]: like we'll go days from waking up to making breakfast to working to like the only time that we are not together is when I go to the gym.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: And you're telling her that?
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was just saying how I don't remember what the context of the conversation was.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Why talking about me?
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Also, can do this for one and then two.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe sometimes, because I totally understand when people need space from each other.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: No matter how long you've been in a relationship, no matter if you married or just together or madly in love, there's, I understand the concept of, I need a long time.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: And we do have a long time.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it's, we have a long time, but I'll be in the same place.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: But our long time can literally be in the same room.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: We might just not talk.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like when we say we're together all the time, it's not like we're just,
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: podcasting the whole time talking yeah yeah yeah like we'll go like we'll go for hours without interacting with each other but we're still around each other like our energies one of the same are yeah come on the same so like how how what's happening we don't really get to and it's funny that when was it yesterday
- 26:55[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah yesterday I went to a work dinner and it's like the first time I haven't really been to any events or anything and it was really nice to go outside and like meet some people and be a little social but it was funny because we are just so used to being together all the time that especially it is quite rare to have several hours being at home by yourself
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: I experienced that when you left yesterday and I must say, tell me, it was nice.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_03]: But it wasn't nice because I wasn't there.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_03]: There is something even though we really like being together and sharing our time and our space together.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: And it's, I never specifically feel like, I wish I had the apartment to myself.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_03]: But something does happen when your partner leaves and like, you get the apartment to yourself for several hours that feels like freeing
- 28:02[SPEAKER_03]: Because even though I basically am doing the same things that I would have done if you were at home, knowing that I really have the space to myself, something changes and I can't really explain what it is.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: Something changes, yesterday I was thinking like, I can't do nothing I can't do something when you're here.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: But when you're by yourself, I can play music on this new speaker that we have.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: Without me saying, turn it down.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: Without you saying, babe, can you turn it down?
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: Babe, can you turn the bass down?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: Babe, can you change the song?
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: Babe, that song again?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't hear none of that.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I just play some shit on repeat as loud as- You know how nice that feels?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the nice part about it.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then I was just like, what else can I do?
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: I can record an episode right now if I want to just drop a solo episode, I can watch whatever I want to TV.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the only part that I do like about it.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: But then there was a moment where there's always like, after a few hours, you're like, okay, cool, let me check my apartment.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: Let me check on my baby, see if she's good, you know, so then I would text you, I would be like, hey,
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: Everything good because you know, you never know what the other person is doing.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, you are in a whole different setting, mingling, chatting.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: So tell us about how, how did that dinner go?
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: And where you ever, like, okay, I'm ready to go home now.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: No, honestly, it was like a really, um,
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: it was really a good event for me to choose to go to after not having gone to events pretty much as an entire winter.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: Because I, I, from my own experience and just like,
- 29:48[SPEAKER_03]: I've become a little bit more selective with the events that I go to just because they do take quite not a lot of time but like getting ready, getting to the event then, you know, it's like seeing what the vibes are, finding someone to talk to.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's sort of the energy is drained like behind me.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's drained the entire time because honestly, most events, if it's a mingling
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: I already don't want to go, but then if it's a brand that I really like, then I'm like, okay, let me use this opportunity to kind of like make a connection with the brand, show that I'm interested in their brand stuff like that.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is kind of like the point of, of these type of events.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_03]: And that doesn't really happen if it's a mingling,
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: set up.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_03]: But the reason why I was excited to go and chose to go to this dinner is because it was a dinner and it was also very specific to like a product and a message and they also had it was set up in a way that it was kind of planned.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like the evening had not necessarily clear itinerary but it was kind of like okay everybody gather here we're gonna watch this like
- 31:00[SPEAKER_03]: kind of promotional video trailer for this stocked memory.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: How long was that trailer?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I mean, it was like kind of a discussion and then they played the trailer, the trailer is only like a minute and a half two minutes and then we talked about it.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_03]: We asked questions about the different things.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: Which question?
- 31:18[SPEAKER_03]: No, because I happened to before we talked about this documentary, I was talking to the girl who was going to talk about the documentary.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: So she gave me the rundown of what she was going to say and what the documentary is about, which this is not sponsored or anything, obviously, which it was.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_03]: But there's a documentary that just came out recently on Netflix, and I think it's called Plastic Detox, or the Plastic Detox, and it's a documentary about how we all have like microplastics in our bodies, and talks about the big health, health, the impacts that this has on our, well, the big impacts that has on our health, and especially on fertility.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_03]: And it shows how, like, it really affects men's fertility, especially.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_03]: And the documentary, I think, follows, like, six different couples that have, under, they have, like, mysterious sort of,
- 32:25[SPEAKER_03]: for utility challenges, it's not very clear why the man's sperm is not right and they're not able to conceive a child and they basically through the movie they follow these couples as they make a bunch of different lifestyle changes but especially eliminating plastic from their lives.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then it kind of makes you realize how much plastic
- 32:51[SPEAKER_03]: is around us and is being used around us and how bad it can be for, you know, for your health and for your body, but also for, you know, having children.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of those documentaries that is really important for people to watch because most of us don't even know that.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think people are having more and more conversations about it and there's more knowledge coming out.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_03]: Now like that's why, uh,
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I wouldn't use, I don't want to get, like, take out hot drinks, because they come out in these paper cups, but the paper cups are lined with this, like, plastic film.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: People, what are hot drinks?
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, take out?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like a coffee to go.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you know like getting a hot coffee to go or like a tea to go.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_03]: I try my best to like not get that if I want to get a coffee out or something I'll get it for here.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: Same.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_03]: Just because I've just been hearing more and more like same thing with if I'm going to get a tea like a buy like a pack of tea bags.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_03]: I want to make sure that the tea bags are not made with any sort of like plastic in the bags themselves, which a lot of them are and it's crazy because I used to think that if a tea bag was made out of this sort of like, um, you guys know, these like trying gold two bags, I would think it's like better quality and it's so crazy because it's like steeping plastic into hot water, which
- 34:22[SPEAKER_03]: releases a bunch of the plastic into the water and then you drink it.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy, and there's so many other things from like cookware to We only have I mean, I we try to only use like wood for those things
- 34:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we mostly only use wood silicone is different than plastic, but anyway, so watch this documentary, I really want to watch it as well, but that was kind of like the first part of the event.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_03]: So we were talking about that.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: We watched the trailer, the the girl told us about it, and then we moved on to a different area of the space where we had a chef basically demo this recipe for us using the cookware.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: The event was about was like hosted by a cookware company.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah anyways and then like the chef did a demo and then she was like kind of cooking and I don't know I love cooking so I love anything that's to do with food and the chef is actually the winner of this Netflix show that was like a chefy cooking competition.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: Chefy cooking.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_03]: yeah it was like a bunch of chefs are basically competing to win like i don't know if it was a million she won a million dollars and she won so i watched the show so i wasn't fangirling but it was like one of the things that made me really want to go um to the event because she was hosting it and then
- 35:50[SPEAKER_03]: After that, you know, we were asking her questions about different things and then we sat down for dinner and then that's when it's a sit down dinner and usually that this type of event is much better than experience and it's much more worth going like I got to me, you know, the, the, the, um,
- 36:09[SPEAKER_03]: the founder and CEO of the brand that was hosting the event.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's always really nice.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I was like, I've never done that before.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: I got to, you know, like, make a true connection and have a conversation.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_03]: Not nothing.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that nothing.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_03]: That never.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: That never happens in most events.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_03]: Most events is like, you don't even know who the owner is.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_03]: They never really Yeah, so present themselves.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: There's never really a moment where I Don't know there's like knowledge being shared or something is just like a A room and they just kind of invite all these people and then see, but I think that you don't like about that because I don't really mind those events either but
- 36:55[SPEAKER_03]: it's not intentional to me.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I'm just I'm just a body in a room and you just want me to like take a photo and tag.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, which is kind of like, I want to I want somebody to like, yeah, tell me something make an activity create an environment and a space that cultivates community and conversation.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I left my house and if all you guys want is just, I don't know, like a tag on Instagram or something, it's, what's the event even really about?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I, and it was really nice coming out of my shell and getting to have that experience yesterday.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I would like to make some really cool people.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_03]: And everybody was really nice.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I just feel like it was informative.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_03]: And it was a lovely time, and then we also got really good dinner that the chef made.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I just liked that.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_03]: It was also very like it was well structured.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, but anyways, as I was there, what were you doing besides listening to music?
- 38:08[SPEAKER_03]: Because I see me weren't just like listening to music all day.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, I was actually working.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was editing, I still have to finish my Mexico videos, which actually I, I only have two hours and 15 minutes of footage, which is very short compared to all the other trips we took.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: The other trips, the other trips we've taken this year and even last year were always above like four or five hours.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: But this one was like,
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, two and 15 years.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: But it's also because you didn't film the whole time.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's not yes, but it's also because when I was filming, I was thinking about, I'm going to have to put this on the timeline on the computer.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: And one thing I hate is you're seeing seven hours of footage.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Because that just means that's how much longer is going to take you to edit the video.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: So with two hours, it feels like, okay, cool, you know, I filmed the essentials.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm going to take a shot there.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: Do I want to talk about this thing?
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then I just film and stop filming.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: But in the past, when I first started the YouTube channel, I would just let the camera run, like, just, or just talk randomly about some shit that's not even, you know what I mean?
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: So, I did better and I think the video's gonna be really good.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I also, I'm still trying to edit mine, and, uh, I think I'll do that on a plane, I'm gonna wait a squall in.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, when we get there, I'm going to be making like of two videos.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I kind of want to at least have one video out while I'm there, but yeah, I mean, I, you know, I feel like there's nothing wrong with spending as much time as we do together.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: All right, that was a topic.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I really enjoyed it.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, like Selena even said it.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: She said she was like, I kind of loved the fact that you guys do spend so much time together because it kind of has become not really cool, but there was this whole thing going around, like last year about an article that came out that said having a boyfriend is cringe or something.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: or it's uncool to have a boyfriend.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Who set that?
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was a whole big article that came out from, I don't know if it was Vogue.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: Why is that cringe?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, then it was this whole conversation.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: It was basically, it was hard.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_03]: I honestly don't even know myself, but it was kind of,
- 40:38[SPEAKER_03]: It was, I don't know if it was necessarily related to the whole conversation we had about letting go of, as a woman letting go of your independence or anything, but it was more like being single is much more interesting than having a boyfriend or something like that.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: What about the other way around?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, nobody's talking about the other way around.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I didn't see that.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hit my algorithm.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_03]: But what she was saying is that she thinks it's become like a little unpopular for people to actually like like the people they're in a relationship with.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, like actually like them yeah, so I actually love my husband and I have no issues and we have no problems We have a great time together.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like when we go somewhere I'm always thinking like this is like I wouldn't want to do obviously There's trips that I would love to take me with maybe you know certain other people whatever like that, but like having is there it's yeah Yeah, yeah for sure, but there's but with you it's
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's more fun, something about going on a trip with your partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband, is that you guys are living are planning to live this life together for a very long time, hopefully.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: And seeing and experiencing new things for the first time which your partner, I think there's something like so special about that.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and those are memories that we'll always have.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're going to have videos and photos of, you know, whatever, but it's, it's, um, I don't know.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's fun.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's gone right now.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_03]: Even day to day life, it's like I never get, I never get tired of you because we're also when we spend time together.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's never, um,
- 42:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, we just really be like together all the time we go from here to there, we go to the store that we do this, and we do that, but it's almost like we're just living life.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_03]: This is just our default.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_03]: This is just like what we're doing, we're sharing our lives together.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_03]: We're supporting each other.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_03]: We're part of a team.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: You know, so I don't even feel any time away.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: I just shook my head.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I was like, quiet for a second there because I responded with my head now.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_03]: To the point where sometimes we don't realize that we've been together for that entire time until one of us says like, damn, we really be just together all day, every day.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_03]: But we don't say it in a negative way.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's just kind of realizing that.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like them have only seen you and only talk to you.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I don't know.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's just like what's normal for us and what feels good for us and everybody is different.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I do understand it's somebody does feel like they want to, you know, have like,
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: time away from each other, but then also getting, getting or wanting time away from your partner doesn't mean that you loved them any less or that your relationship is any less good than people who don't, you know, it's just, I don't know, it's just, it's a case by case basis, but I definitely don't like the whole sentiment that was kind of going around, I
- 44:05[SPEAKER_03]: how it's it's like out of the ordinary to actually like the person that you share your life with.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like what do you mean?
- 44:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna like what are you talking about?
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: Should we experiment more time alone, like specifically physically, time alone and seeing kind of what that does, you know, like for what?
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's unnecessary.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: You just want to go everywhere together, huh?
- 44:29[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's just like we'll just be together when we're together and then when we do our own thing, we do our own thing.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like do things?
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: If I want to go play tennis, I'm going to play with Alia.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I also think maybe like in the summer we have more time apart because we also just both end up doing more stuff individually.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: that one year you went to Romania and I did not go with you and I was it was like maybe three weeks and that felt like it was the first two weeks.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: it I really felt it like the I felt the absence.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: But then like you kind of like get used to it.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: But we you know, it's still tax and face time, but not as much because you're like calling you're over there with your family.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, that's why I wasn't bothering you too much.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like hey, babe, look at what I'm doing.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm not, I wasn't doing any of that.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: It gives you a lot of time to reflect when you buy a self for a while.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_03]: There is something up being by yourself, yeah.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which is cool.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that everybody needs that every once in a while.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know what happens.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: But when you go somewhere and I know you're going to be gone for like a while.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I have.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know like three hours.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I have the apartment to myself and I know like I have some good hours.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: to do whatever something about it is like I don't do anything different but it's nice to get uninterrupted alone time in your home because if I want to have like a long time I can go to a coffee shop I can do an activity by myself and it's by myself but I don't get to be at home by myself that often.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: I do be annoying sometimes.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_03]: No, but it's not even that.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's about just not having anyone else's presence around you.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: There's no potential of your alone time being interrupted.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like you can really do it.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: Think about whatever you want and nobody will interrupt you.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_03]: And I can only imagine that once we do have a kid, that will will exponentially become a huge difference.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_03]: Because when it's like, mommy needs a long time, do you get home specifically?
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to feel that.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_03]: You need to take our baby for a walk and I need some time to just be at home by myself.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to be a real thing.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to walk?
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: How about you going to walk, huh?
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: Since you need some shit.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, of course.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_03]: But like, there's something about being at home by yourself.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_03]: But that's kind of it, you guys.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of it.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: This was straight freestyle, no board, no notes.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think I like these episodes a lot better.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited for the Scotland episode on the occasion.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna give you guys a nice, a nice update on where we are or we've been doing.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: And then of course, we'll do like a, kind of same as we did for Mexico.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_03]: We'll do another recap of the Mexico of the Scotland trip when we actually get back to New York.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, across my mind, but we might not do a Scotland WTJ meet up because I don't think we have any list.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I actually, yeah, and also this is a work trip.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_03]: So there's a very specific like itinerary built out.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know if we could do it.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm excited for all the activities.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to try some some scotch Some scotch.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh some scotch.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have to edit that part now, but yeah, and that's it We're going to like do anything with Like are we going to be with a group or not going to be?
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, but I see myself nice.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_03]: We are going on a ghost tour
- 48:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that's about like I'm not into the whole that I mean is it I don't know I don't know we'll see what it is.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what it is, but either way we're doing all that shit.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so stay tuned for that It's gonna be very exciting fun trip
- 48:50[SPEAKER_01]: What do we want what do we want in the comments like do I think we already mentioned through the episode many different comments if you're from Scotland.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_03]: Let us know There was another one I forgot I feel like in the episode I said something about comment down below if you Oh, yeah, you said that at some point, but we'll see yeah comment comment you know what's up
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just going on.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: Just say whatever you want, we have another Patreon episode, you know, it's so crazy how close we are to the end of season 4.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: I feel it.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: And on Patreon, we also have almost 100 full video episodes on Patreon, so it's like... That means that we've made almost 300.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: What do you say?
- 49:35[SPEAKER_03]: That means that we've made almost 300.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, 300 episodes.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: 300.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like 200 from these, the main part.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_03]: Right, and a hundred from Patreon.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we're like three episodes away from hitting that.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: So very exciting times at the WTJ here.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Quake, quote, hey, quarters, um, yeah, that's it.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta go.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we gotta go.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but thanks for listening.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_03]: As always, and hopefully, um, you enjoyed today's episode.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: I enjoyed it.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I enjoyed it too.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: I love a little chitty chat.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I didn't we didn't even know we were going to talk about this stuff that we talked about but usually somehow this It kind of made episode, you know when you just don't know where you talk about yeah, which is kind of like not recommended if you have a podcast You shouldn't know where you want to talk about I mean we had a little bit of an idea a little bit Okay, guys, bye What did you say?
- 50:33[SPEAKER_03]: Are you done?
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: I watched his reel on Instagram and this guy went to a coffee shop and he was like, hey, how are you?
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to get a coffee and then the girl is like, okay, I want to size.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then he was like, uh, grand, uh, and then she was like, what are you talking like that?
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then he was like, what am I?
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then he was like, and then he was just kept saying how like, why do like, people talk like that?
- 50:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but the very specific girl that talks like that.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then he kept on talking like her and she was so annoyed.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_03]: I would love to see that video.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, bye guys.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, bye.
- 51:12[UNKNOWN]: Bye.
