- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to get right
- 0:06back to the Sarah Kellen interview with Congress. Question. On
- 0:11October twentieth, two thousand and five, police executed a search
- 0:14warrant for mister Epstein's pom Beach, Florida home. Were you
- 0:17present for the search? Answer? No? Question When did you
- 0:21learn that home had been raided? Answer? I don't recall
- 0:24how I found out. It may have been one of
- 0:27the house staff members. I don't really have a recollection.
- 0:30Question did anyone tip mister Epstein off to the search warrant? Answer?
- 0:34I don't know. Question are you aware of any items
- 0:37being removed from Jeffrey Epstein's pom Beach residents prior to
- 0:40the raid? Answer? Yes, he called another assistant and told
- 0:44her to go to the house and remove the computers
- 0:47from the house. Question who was that assistant? Answer redacted?
- 0:51Question what did he tell her? Answer? I just overheard
- 0:54him on the phone with her, so I vaguely the
- 0:56gist was like, go to the house and take the computers,
- 0:59and it was my understanding she was to give them
- 1:01to his attorney. Question do you know how mister Epstein
- 1:05became aware of the search warrant? Answer I don't. Question
- 1:08can you describe what he instructed her to remove from
- 1:11the property? Answer, as far as I can remember, just
- 1:14the computers. Question did you witness her remove these items
- 1:17from the property? Answer? No, I was on the island
- 1:20with them when he called her. Question how did you
- 1:23overhear the phone call? Answer? I was in front of them.
- 1:26Question did you learn that the items had in fact
- 1:29been removed from the property? Answer? I assume they did,
- 1:32and I've read articles about it, so I assumed it happened.
- 1:36Question do you have any firsthand knowledge that the assistant
- 1:39was complicit in removing the items from the property. Did
- 1:42the assistant ever tell you? Ham jumps in, did you
- 1:45know that? Do you know if she did that? Brignac
- 1:49And I'm going to ask that one more time so
- 1:50it's clear on the record. Did the assistant or anyone
- 1:53else ever tell you that she had in fact remove
- 1:56the items from the property. Answer? I don't remember. Question
- 2:00did you hear if anyone else removed the items from
- 2:02the property? Ham like at the time, not what you've
- 2:06heard since then, Kellen, It's hard to remember exactly what
- 2:09I knew at the time versus what I've read. Brignac. Question,
- 2:13what's your understanding of why he wanted those contents removed
- 2:16from the property? Answer? I don't know. Question were items
- 2:20or records intentionally destroyed or withheld from the police as
- 2:23part of the investigation? Answer? I don't know. I remember
- 2:27I think it was Valentine's Day because I was having
- 2:30dinner with my then boyfriend and Jeffrey called me and
- 2:33had me come leave the dinner to meet him at
- 2:35his house in New York and he had lawyers there.
- 2:38Darren Endyke was there and a few of his other attorneys,
- 2:41and he told me to gather various things from the
- 2:44house and give it to his attorneys. Question, can you
- 2:47list those items for me? And to that, Missham jumps
- 2:50in again. One second, can we go off record? Now
- 2:53they're back on the record. Ham, We're just confirming on
- 2:56the victim piece of it. Brignac, I'm going to ask
- 2:59the question once more or for clarity on the record,
- 3:02were items or records ever intentionally destroyed or withheld from
- 3:05the police as part of the investigation. You said yes,
- 3:09that items you were called and asked to turn over
- 3:11items to attorneys. I asked you to list those items. Ham.
- 3:15Can we just clarify in terms of intentionally withheld from police.
- 3:18I'm not sure at the time you understood why you
- 3:21were collecting the information. Kellen correct. Ham, you were asked
- 3:24to go I'm not trying to put words in your mouth,
- 3:27but Kellen correct, I was just asked to go around
- 3:30the house and collect to give to the attorneys. I
- 3:32didn't know the purpose of what they were going to
- 3:34do with the items. I didn't understand it. That was it.
- 3:39That's intentionally trying to get cut off by Brignac. Understood
- 3:43you received an instruction from your boss to remove items
- 3:45from the property. Answer. I didn't remove it. I was
- 3:49just gathering it from the floors in the house and
- 3:51putting it in the dining room for the attorneys. I
- 3:54don't know what they did with it. Question Okay, can
- 3:56you list the items that you gathered into the dining room? Answered?
- 4:00Directories and printed photographs? Question which directories? Answer all the
- 4:05ones Glen's directory that she had printed and we're all
- 4:08around the houses. Question in which photographs? Ham, We're going
- 4:13to ask her not to get into the specifics of
- 4:14photographs because I think that, based on the allegations that
- 4:17we've heard, could implicate other victims. Brignac, for the record,
- 4:21are you refusing to answer the question? Answer? I would
- 4:25like to answer that question, but I need to listen
- 4:27to my counsel Timmins. And again, for the record, if
- 4:30she had immunity, would you be able to answer that question? Ham? Yes, Brignac,
- 4:36who instructed you? Ham jumps in again. Oh, I'm sorry
- 4:39if I can jump in, And I want to be
- 4:40clear because I think sometimes when people talk about immunity
- 4:43there are some confusion. This would be use immunity. I mean,
- 4:48I know that you know this, Congressman, but this would
- 4:51be use immunity. It's not transactional immunity. She would be
- 4:56able to speak about items, you know, speak about issues
- 4:59to this committee, but it's not transactional immunity. Kellen, I
- 5:02don't know what any of that means. Ham. I know
- 5:05you don't, but it's fine. Go ahead. Brignac, who instructed
- 5:08you to gather these items for the dining room? Answer
- 5:11Jeffrey question? And what was your understanding of why these
- 5:14items were being gathered? Answer to give it to the
- 5:17attorneys that were working on the case. Question how long
- 5:21after the instruction did the ray take place? Answer? I
- 5:24don't believe his New York home was ever rated until
- 5:26twenty nineteen, which would have been some time probably two
- 5:30thousand and six. Question were you aware of security cameras
- 5:34on mister Epstein's properties? Answer? He had cameras in the
- 5:38New York house that were directed out to the street,
- 5:40but I don't recall any cameras being inside at the
- 5:43New York house. They were all at different angles on
- 5:45the street. In Palm Beach, he had noticed someone was
- 5:48stealing cash out of his bag a few times, and
- 5:50he had pom Beach police come help put like two
- 5:53hidden cameras by his like one by his desk and
- 5:56one I think in the garage to try and catch
- 5:59whoever it was like breaking in and stealing his money.
- 6:01And they caught the old house man that was fired
- 6:04sneaking in and stealing It was actually Larry Vasoski who
- 6:08put cameras in a clean xbox. Hell of a job
- 6:11for a pilot, huh. Question was the camera footage ever
- 6:15turned over to the police or FBI? Answer? I don't
- 6:18recall exactly what happened with the footage or yeah, question
- 6:21do you have access to the camera footage or did
- 6:23you have access to the camera footage? Answer? I don't remember,
- 6:27but I think it had gone to one of the computers.
- 6:29There's an office in the kitchen, there was a desktop,
- 6:32and I'm fairly certain it somehow was connected to the computer.
- 6:36Tion and Miss Kellen, there have been allegations at the
- 6:38camera footage has been used for black mail purposes. How
- 6:41do you respond to that allegation? Answer? I'm not aware
- 6:44of any black mailing yet. Tell that to Bill Gates.
- 6:48Question and are you aware of whether the computer hard
- 6:51drives were removed from the Palm Beach residence prior to
- 6:54the raid of the Palm Beach residence in October two
- 6:57thousand and five? Answer only what I just discribed as
- 7:00him telling his other assistant to remove them. Timmins, you
- 7:03have described physical violence, choking, and other physical interactions. Did
- 7:08any of those interactions result in visible bruising abrasions? Kellen?
- 7:13Nonverbal response? Timmins, No, Kellen, no Brignac. You reference gifts
- 7:18that mister Epstein received while he was imprisoned. Who provided
- 7:21these gifts to Epstein? Ham? I don't think she mentioned
- 7:25that sort of but she interpreted to be sort of
- 7:27special favors like Skype, and that you understand that at
- 7:30his direction gifts were being given to people, not to
- 7:33mister Epstein, but given gifts to others, Miss Kellen, Right, Brignac, question,
- 7:38the cash and the Disney tickets were someone else from
- 7:41mister Epstein? Is that correct? Answer? Correct question? Okay? Were
- 7:45massages a part of Epstein's routine day? Ham? Yeah, I
- 7:49think we're going to avoid massages. Just again. I know
- 7:52that the allegations are in this case, and I don't
- 7:54want to get her into the other victims. Brignac And
- 7:56for the record, are you refusing to answer the question, Kellen?
- 8:00I would like to answer the question, I really would,
- 8:02but I need to listen to my counsel. Brignac. How
- 8:06was contact information for the messuses procured? Ham? This is
- 8:10the same issue, Brignac. And for the record, are you
- 8:12refusing to answer the question? Ham? I'm asking her just
- 8:16based on the scope that we lay it out, and
- 8:18given that this is a voluntary interview to avoid certain topics,
- 8:22and I hope that people do not infer anything by
- 8:24her silence. Sorry, we do, okay, we do. This is
- 8:29just another sham voluntary interview, no teeth. Nothing happens if
- 8:33she lies, and I hope that people do not infer
- 8:37anything by her silence. She wishes, as she mentioned many times,
- 8:41that she could talk on these subjects, but this is
- 8:44not unfortunately, has not been presented to her in a
- 8:47format in which that is possible. Timmins. But should the
- 8:50committee provide immunity, she would be able to answer the questions. Ham, Yeah, Timmins, Okay,
- 8:56And that's because she's guilty. I hate to say of folks,
- 8:58but she's guilty. Now two things can be true at
- 9:01the same time. Sure, she was victimized by Epstein, but
- 9:04she's also guilty. Brignac. Can you provide the committee with
- 9:07an age range of the messuses that came to the House? Ham,
- 9:10this is the same issue. Thank you Brignac for the record.
- 9:13Are you refusing to answer the question? Pam for the record.
- 9:16I've asked her, based on the scope that she's prepared
- 9:19to discuss today, to not answer these questions, but as
- 9:23she mentioned many times, she would have preferred to be
- 9:25answering them, Miss Brignac, is that a yes, Kellen. I
- 9:28need to listen to my counsel's advice. Question, Miss Kellen,
- 9:32are you familiar with the birthday book that was compiled
- 9:34for mister Epstein's fiftieth birthday in January of two thousand
- 9:37and three. Answer yes. Question what was your role with
- 9:40the birthday book? Answer? I helped put it together, kind
- 9:43of scan the entries and take it to a binder
- 9:46so that it's bound into a leather bound. I think
- 9:48there were two or three books that it entelled. Question
- 9:51did you make a submission to the birthday book? Answer?
- 9:54I did, Kellen. Majority Exhibit number one was marked for identification. Briniant,
- 10:00I would like to introduce majority Exhibit one. This is
- 10:03the letter from a book that was compiled as a
- 10:05gift for Jeffrey Epstein's fiftieth birthday in January two thousand
- 10:09and three by Glenn Maxwell. I'll give you a moment
- 10:12to review, and please let me know when you're ready. Ham,
- 10:16Is there a certain page you wanted to look at? Her?
- 10:18The whole thing? Brignac, the whole thing? Question ready? Answer?
- 10:22Uh huh. Question. The Committee is aware that these letters
- 10:25and pictures contain redactions. However, the unredacted version of that
- 10:29photo on page four has been made publicly available and therefore,
- 10:33the committee believes a submission to be made by you.
- 10:35Is that correct? Answer? It's not my submission, but this
- 10:39is a photo of me and him. Question who submitted
- 10:42this compilation of letters and photographs? Answer? It was another
- 10:45assistant Ham. It's fine, We'll ask four redactions at the end.
- 10:49Brignac redacted. Did miss Maxwell provide or redacted provide you
- 10:53with any instructions or suggestions for what you should write
- 10:56in the birthday book? Kellen? I mean, she's the one
- 10:59that asked for us give submissions. I didn't remember what
- 11:02I submitted until I saw it in the files. I
- 11:04think she did help with the kind of the reference
- 11:06of what I submitted, Tolan, And what was your submission, Kellen?
- 11:11It was also like photographs of me in a bikini,
- 11:13and I think it was like showing gratitude, basically saying
- 11:17that I was like nothing. I don't remember the exact words,
- 11:20like the gist, like you know, I had nothing, I'm
- 11:22grateful for kind of what you've given me sort of thing, Brignac.
- 11:27Alongside those bikini photos the entry states and I quote
- 11:30and thought you might like ellipses some bikini shots. Did
- 11:34you write this, Kellen? No, in this submission. No, that's
- 11:36not me, Ham, that's not you, Kellen. No, Ham, Yeah,
- 11:40this two twenty four is not her. I think page two. Brignac.
- 11:45Do you know why this collection of letters and photographs
- 11:48might have been grouped together for the book? Kellen? I don't.
- 11:51I'm not sure why redacted would have included a photo
- 11:53of myself in her submission. Brignac. Thank you. All right, folks,
- 11:58we're gonna wrap up right here and in the next
- 12:00episode dealing with the topic, we're going to pick up
- 12:02where we left off. All the information that goes with
- 12:05this episode can be found in the description box.
