- 4:58[SPEAKER_10]: So we aren't out of summer yet.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_10]: And enjoy the day to be a picked an island if you're out that way Did we have a storm last night?
- 5:07[SPEAKER_10]: We're talking about tornado warnings.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_10]: I'm glad
- 5:09[SPEAKER_10]: It seems like when I was in bed later at night, I might have heard some thunder, but I don't know what did it really rain here.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't bother to get up and look outside.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_10]: How lazy is that?
- 5:18[SPEAKER_10]: How lazy is that?
- 5:19[SPEAKER_10]: So, I don't know.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_10]: Um, well, what are we going on here?
- 5:25[SPEAKER_10]: Still no verdict in the Clancy trial and plymoth mass, or the Gloria Steinem died, female activists, at age 92.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_10]: But something I saw on Channel 7 news in the country's window on the world.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_10]: here the town of water town just about broke as largely as a result of that effort to put a quote event center on some property out off through three somewhere and now they're getting sued over that by the most preferred developer in the area and their water and sewer funds have been
- 6:04[SPEAKER_10]: rating the general fund and the town residents face big tax increases, they don't have any town tax.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_10]: Now they're going to get one.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_10]: And they're still talking about this event center we don't need.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_10]: Now that when it came up before, it was always you were allowed to speak against it because you were against it.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, what about the kids and all that?
- 6:23[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_10]: Let me tell you what we have in this community, which is pretty good.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_10]: We've got a newly renovated auditorium at the water at Dullis State Office Building, gorgeous I hear.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_10]: New auditorium at the high school, nice one up at Indian River.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_10]: We've got an arena at the Fairgrounds for larger events.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_10]: We've got a nice facility over on Franklin Street for smaller events.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_10]: And we've got a possibility of the Masonic Temple as well.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_10]: There's a lot of places.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_10]: We don't have, oh, you're not going to have, you know, some spring-steen revival concert in Watertown.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_10]: Even if you did, it's one day a year.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_10]: And it was,
- 7:01[SPEAKER_10]: concerts aren't even put on him.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_10]: We don't need it.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_10]: They're talking about the salmon run mall while a pyramid company likes here in Accazane.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_10]: Caching Caching Caching and all the suits.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_10]: The lawyers, the engineering cartel, Caching Caching Caching.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_10]: How much can that town afford?
- 7:19[SPEAKER_10]: Those people up on the Cag win road and the Fescent run road and all that.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_10]: It's like they, what do they care whether that's, but it's in their township, it's in their geopolitical subdivision they live in, so they're stuck with all of that, I saw some video of them.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_10]: Now listen, the guy running in all of this is an old friend I haven't seen him in years and he's a great guy, Mike Campbell, at one time ran the salmon run mom when it first opened and then he was very active in Madison Barrett, down in sack, it's and Mike is a great guy, and I've nothing bad to say about him, but
- 7:52[SPEAKER_10]: This is a bad idea.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_10]: We can't afford it.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we just can't, no, I know what you're going to say.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I want to get you checkbook out.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_11]: No, no, I'm not paying.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's the way it works.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_10]: But is group of people, I don't know who they are.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_10]: They say they're crunching numbers on renovating the salmon run mall.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_10]: The mall, unfortunately, is like most malls.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_10]: It's in severe decline.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_10]: But, uh, town of water town residents, beware, beware these people are spending your money and oh yeah, they're going to get a grant and they're going to tell you all of that.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_10]: Bad idea.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_10]: In my opinion, now some of you may anyone who wants to speak otherwise, there's a microphone sitting next to me.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, don't forget Glenn and I are off tomorrow.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_10]: And, uh, to make a little long weekend out of it, we're going up to Picton Island.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_10]: And, um, we rented a little a little a lot.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_10]: houseboat or something and we're going to have a party or something like that.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_10]: The other thing it was in the news.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_10]: Remember last winter when the toilets and sinks were vandalized at the north side playground?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody broke into the building and the city discovered it and the ceramic toilets and urinals and sinks were smashed apart.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if anyone was ever caught.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_10]: At the time, Councilman.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_10]: Ben Schoen said, I'll volunteer to donate the materials and fix it, and they spent months with legal looking into whether he could do that.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_10]: So they spent a lot on that.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_10]: When what they should have done, I'll tell you what happens.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_10]: If somebody came in the building here and smashed the bathroom apart, here's what you do is an owner of a business.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_10]: You find somebody to fix it, Pronto, and if you can't get it fixed today or tomorrow,
- 9:49[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but here it is, months and months later, summer is over, and Mr. Show and Gleefully reports that the toilets are in, and they look nice, there's ceramic again, hopefully there's a better lock on the door, but then be thankful.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, we like the gesture on the part of the councilman, but city councilman shouldn't have to volunteer their time to fix a smash toilet, hmm, shouldn't after you just do it.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know whether this whole episode was one of the reasons for the shake-up down there, but it could very well be that in the speedbumps.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_10]: You know, we didn't hear much about that.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_10]: That was kind of a non-story that shake-up at DPW, but I guess from what I'm told, from our mall on this, the mood was better yesterday down among the workers, and I don't know what this Karen over to and we'll do, she used to work over, I guess, Curry or an
- 10:52[SPEAKER_10]: Nothing about it.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_10]: You know, usually you try to look people up, Google, or Facebook, and I don't know, there is one by that name, but I don't know if it's the same one.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_10]: You never know if it's the same one, so you don't want to say anything.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, I'm sure she's a nice person.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_10]: You think council, I'd have some more deeper questions, but they don't like asked, because it's a personnel matter, don't you know?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_10]: very often somebody gets the heave ho, though, in city government or any government like that.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_10]: Although I guess in recent years there have been some lower level employees.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_10]: But after you do it on the air.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_11]: Well, good afternoon.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_11]: We need to say Lawrence County.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_10]: Well, thank you.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_10]: Good to hear from you.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_10]: Go ahead, sir.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_11]: Just ask out.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_11]: Everything in your corner of the world.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you for five years.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_11]: got across the border and uh... you're got a ditching some interesting topics let me throw one more out in the open air a uh... what's the deal with a flock of cameras and people being afraid of them well the flock of the others they can picture the license plates going on the roads man let me tell you personal experience i've had a car store it was the horror of flock of cameras with them on issue
- 12:13[SPEAKER_11]: but the groupers were smart enough, they checked a couple of ring camp, ring doorbell cameras, and they had a rough idea of how that car started out for, or it was stolen, where it eventually ended up.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_11]: I wish they were more cameras at the time, it would have been much easier job to find them.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_11]: Well, the one car.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the argument against flock cameras is that people don't use them to solve just a crime, they use them to track other people,
- 12:45[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, there's a lot of cops are tracking their girlfriend and checking on their girlfriends with their x-wise or some Yeah, I hope they all enjoy the Ablation they're all up so make the same jail if your bad cops do bad stuff with good tools That's not a reason to throw up that Bad cops or doing that stuff Mm-hmm.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, they're awful good.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, were you uh to do it?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_10]: What were those horses just here about those horses over in the cow?
- 13:11[SPEAKER_10]: A whole truckload of them.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_10]: They were trying to get them in the can of the
- 13:14[SPEAKER_11]: slaughter him or something when they got caught uh... got caught doing what given courses arrived i'm sorry no i didn't hear about it but uh... don't get me don't get me headed down the road of feet on whether horse flesh is good to eat or not well is it you know i'd like to think i've never eaten horse but on the other hand you never know
- 13:45[SPEAKER_10]: Well, what's it taste like?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_11]: But put up more flock cameras, put up more cameras.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_11]: I think you look back.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_11]: You've got a memory.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_11]: There is a bank robbery.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_11]: A little.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_11]: Here you go.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't doubt that surveillance cameras can be handy.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_10]: I think flock is a different thing because of the database.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_10]: Now most businesses or homes have a ring camera or some kind of camera.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_10]: So there's the assumption now that when you are approaching a front door, you're on camera or if you're in my backyard, you're not supposed to be.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_10]: That's one thing.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_10]: I think the flock camera poses some additional problems, as has been noted in Florida, where they've said they don't want them.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_11]: The saddest that he don't want them because he's the type of politician goes out in the morning.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_11]: six a wet finger in the air and sees which way the wings grow and then follows it.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, Texas sounds like the same thing from what I see.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_11]: Their politicians are getting involved and just stop and think, quite a view, my point of view, if somebody steals my car, I want license plate cameras are 360 degrees around, so I can find it.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_11]: That's what, uh, that's what it's there for.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_11]: You want to know who went down what street
- 14:56[SPEAKER_10]: Well, there's not a lot of flock camera.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_10]: I look on that site.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_10]: There's not a lot of them in St. Lawrence County.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_11]: There's a couple.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_11]: There's an awful lot of people besides flock who run cameras.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_11]: I think the state's got a couple.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_11]: I think the, uh, I think the bank robbery was solved by a state camera.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_11]: Some sort of a traffic camera.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_11]: I remember the news stories.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_11]: The Robert decided to borrow his girlfriend's car as I recall it.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_11]: And then got it back.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_11]: Nobody knew the difference.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_11]: his girlfriend's mother's house.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_11]: Well, we do know of the rough robbery.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_10]: We do know of cases where law enforcement, you know, would use their position to stock some woman or something like that.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_10]: I don't have it all the time.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_10]: And by no means by making it.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_11]: It's so it's a damn rare.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_11]: It's the work not worth it.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_11]: You fix that problem, which is a problem.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_11]: You don't go through and throw in the baby out of the dash water or whatever you want to do.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_11]: and uh... get rid of the people who are missing and that was a now what part of say lard scouter you have locked cameras i want to know who's running down the road in front of me and who's got you again which way my stolen car went so what uh... i i love your program i always have what part of saying what part of the county a living sir uh... i live in the loose county quarter but i managed to sneak across the border this morning uh... that's what to do up in uh...
- 16:24[SPEAKER_10]: Alright, well, thank you so much for calling.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_11]: I use my cell phone so you don't want that power ID, but that's all right.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_11]: You and I have cross paths at time or two.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_11]: I have a super day.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you, by now.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_11]: Really glad to hear you.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you, by now.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_10]: Alright, good to hear from our listeners on WQTK, 92.7, and I've been spurred.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_10]: What a brilliant idea it was to put us on there.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on your hair.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_10]: What's up?
- 16:50[SPEAKER_16]: I haven't been on a while, because I was...
- 16:54[SPEAKER_16]: uh... back in the hospital uh... back in remission this is uh... crazy cali from chowm on to your who did hear from you yeah i know we had words last time i called in but that's okay i understand where you were coming from uh... yeah well other than that how are house that other things down in shimo well not good really but i'm trying to turn the town
- 17:23[SPEAKER_10]: Well, what's wrong with it?
- 17:24[SPEAKER_10]: I thought it was a great place to live.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_16]: No, but what is until you brought water town employees into a little village?
- 17:32[SPEAKER_10]: Well, what do you mean by that?
- 17:36[SPEAKER_16]: Why do we, why do you share this come out here?
- 17:39[SPEAKER_16]: Why don't we have a village, please?
- 17:41[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_10]: I mean if you...
- 17:47[SPEAKER_16]: over because the town didn't put up science for me that I was visually impaired.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_16]: I got him nowhere I was walking.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_16]: The young lady also worker that I had a seizure because she beefed at me.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_16]: Right.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_16]: Right.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_16]: My visually impaired of my walking stick.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_16]: I almost got hit on 12 E. I called, uh, yep.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_16]: When my
- 18:15[SPEAKER_16]: me and my youngest son, I adapted, he had to be kept in special meetings as I am now a brain injury as I told you.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_05]: For a few minutes.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_16]: I can't see the doctor's name.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_16]: I've been told advice.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_16]: What I can say, what I can't, I told you I've reached out to Channel 7.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_16]: They had no problem coming into my home and interviewing me, you know, at the vet people should adapt to kids.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_16]: uh... and uh... i'm trying to protect him where the hell are you uh... because they're my two youngest or black and why uh... okay and he uh... i got up real close uh... she's african american very pretty uh... young i walked up to the uh... her coastal car there uh... to apologize uh... and she started screaming at me and called me and and i g g a okay well we'll leave it
- 19:17[SPEAKER_16]: I have to remind you that you've been Yeah.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_10]: Well, we'll leave it at that.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you have a good day, man.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_10]: Okay?
- 19:23[SPEAKER_16]: That's the issue that I have with you.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_16]: Because you say that it's okay if you're Republican or you're Democrats.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_16]: But once I say something that you've not done a shit, you're narrative.

- 28:45[SPEAKER_10]: Here's a nice anti-Trump story on the Lucky Seven.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_10]: Cultural changes to snap benefits will hit counties in one month.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_10]: Jefferson County will lose a million.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_10]: Well, maybe they're changing these formulas because the federal government's going broke and some local governments are just rolling in cash.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_10]: And I don't mean to pick on anybody, but I mean, Jefferson County's not exactly without cash, and if they want to have these big welfare programs, you know, sometimes you will have to pay a little more.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, I never got snap benefits to you.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_10]: You know, we get snap, I guess they used to call them food stamps.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_10]: Now it's EBT cards.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_10]: I remember a friend of mine, a little group of items were used to tell me at the bars, you know, like down on Ford Street.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_10]: Those, uh, they'd be spying and selling those food stamps like crazy.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_10]: You know, you got a hundred dollars in food stamps and you ever did the guy next to you for 50 bucks cash so you can drink and buy some smokes and Then he gets to go to the store and get the food and stuff.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_10]: It's a little tougher to do with an EVT card Because it's got to be run through something But it can be done.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_10]: It is done.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_10]: I guess from what I understand Like you know somebody with an EVT card, you take them with you
- 30:05[SPEAKER_10]: to the store, and buy some stuff that you want, and then, after you leave the store, you don't do it in front of it, but you give them some cash.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_10]: We're using their card.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I guess that's how it's done.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_10]: Nowadays, it used to be the actual coupons that we're in a book, remember that?
- 30:25[SPEAKER_16]: But after you do it around the air, hi, it's me again.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_16]: I totally agree with everything you just said.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, thank you.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_16]: option of the city.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_16]: I have a six-secure job.

- 30:38[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, well thank you.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_16]: I was offered the food students.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_16]: I gave them away.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_16]: So, and to the left college that responded in my first call.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_10]: Well, listen, we're not going to get into all of that.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to let it lie for the weekend.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, there were rebuttal.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_10]: No, there's no rebuttal.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, well listen up.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_10]: I just wish you the best weekend possible.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_10]: You have a good good late day weekend.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_10]: You have a good day by now.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_10]: Alrighty, 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_10]: If you'd like to give us a call and beyond the air today and we'll talk about anything you want.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_08]: Anything you want.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, let's see.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_10]: Here's something.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_10]: Here's a homeless man.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_10]: Allegedly.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_10]: We say allegedly.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_10]: and was witnessed by a detective.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_10]: Now, here's a guy, 48-year-old homeless man.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_10]: Assaulted a 72-year-old.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_13]: Well, on stage street, knocking him to the ground.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_10]: Now, what will happen to the homeless man?
- 31:49[SPEAKER_10]: Mm, I don't know.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_10]: Nothing.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_10]: now the uh... non-duty police officer did run or detective ran across the street and ran your aid but the problem with this is these people can do what they want with impunity so we are here homeless homeless person well what do we got going on
- 32:22[SPEAKER_10]: There's an interesting thing, a story on all the women Brad Pitt has dated Shaleen McCall and actress I don't even know all these people Jill Sholine, I don't know her either He does have a way for attractive women Yeah, but I don't know who he's married to now, Angelina Jolie or somebody like that
- 32:52[SPEAKER_10]: these are celebrities they get whatever they want they're the beautiful people name that for a reason okay seven five five twelve forty are from number if you'd like to give us a call if you have anything uh... what's the angle you may have to say is anybody want to thank councilman ben shown for fixing those toilets you right sent the picture to john more i don't know if it'll end up on our local news but
- 33:22[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what to say the angry man We haven't heard from but it was nice of councilman shown to do that.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_10]: It took months Because he had to get it approved.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_10]: He had to be run through legal.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_10]: We had to pile up some billable hours got to do the billable hours to Harris Beach Yep there and they need to you know, they got a favor their memberships at the big country club down in Rochester where they are whatever Remember that what's the one okay?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_10]: Or something like that?
- 33:50[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, sir, rebob.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_10]: So they finally gave Mr. Schoen permission to do it and he put some new toilets in.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_10]: Hopefully no one damages these.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but boy, that he was showing me the pictures of the damage.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_10]: It was brutal.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_10]: And people do that stuff.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_10]: But again, I'm going to say something that a lot of people will disagree with.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_10]: Because they'll say, what do you got against?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_10]: Whatever.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_10]: Normally.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_10]: like if someone broke in my business or here anywhere and smashed up the toilets and sinks.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_10]: You got to find somebody to fix it.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_10]: Now you might be able to if it was both the restrooms, you'd immediately have to get some portipodies in or you could get by on the small volume place like this, the ladies room.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_10]: In a public assembly place, you'd have to get a portipody and then immediately get somebody to fix the restrooms.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_10]: and that's the way it would be handled in the private sector but in government you can sit there and let it go and think about it and ponder it and do all of that stuff and if somebody offers the fix it then you got to I bet you they spent more on legal to find out of show and could fix it then he would charge to figure charge them for that's my opinion
- 35:10[SPEAKER_10]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_10]: And we'll take some time out for messages and be back with more in a moment.

- 36:52[SPEAKER_05]: He built his business right here in upstate New York and created a thousand good-paying jobs.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_05]: He funds his own campaign with absolutely no special interest and no strings attached.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_05]: Anthony will fight corruption in both parties, cut our taxes, secure the border, defend the Second Amendment, he'll protect our farms and forked road.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_05]: Anthony will fight for our veterans and answer to no one but you.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_05]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_21]: I'm Anthony Gazentino and I approve this message.

- 37:58[SPEAKER_08]: They can't see you very well either, especially between park cars.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_08]: And at 40 miles an hour, if you get hit, there's an 85% chance you'll die.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_08]: You might save some time crossing mid-block, but just think what it could cost you.

- 38:41[SPEAKER_10]: Um.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_10]: You know, let's call him next election.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, obviously Trump's not running, so I don't know who I'll vote for.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_10]: It'll depend.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_10]: It would never be Gavin Newsom, never.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_10]: Not them.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_10]: Even if I decided to vote, Democrat, it wouldn't be him.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know about fans.

- 39:21[SPEAKER_10]: don't see a lot of there there, but you know unless it was, and some of your elected are, will be voting DSA this year.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_10]: Now that's one of the things I saw, I had a line in the paper where Mr. Gendabene is trying to distance himself from one popular Democrats.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if these DSA people are unpopular.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_10]: I do know one thing.

- 41:52[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I haven't going to the water town times Icon.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_15]: And that has worked up.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_10]: I just have you tried this N and Y 360 dot com.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, that seems to come dried up.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_15]: I did.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_15]: And I added the icon.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_15]: And none of our passwords or user IDs are valid.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_15]: They sent.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_15]: But more importantly, you know, this cuts the subscription support guy was not only aggressive saying, what is a simple way to solve it, and I said, well, what is it, me telling it, and I tried it, it didn't work.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_15]: But he won't even listen.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_15]: He'll talk to over me, blah blah blah.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_15]: I just said that he had a problem with a guy there that's got an attitude
- 42:46[SPEAKER_15]: uh... he's right everybody else's rock right and i'm interested so sadly just a continuation and uh... i'm sure he said he got your paper uh... yes every morning do you go and buy that or do you have a mail to you owner it's mail okay well okay anyways decided continues i don't think the time sadly has a
- 43:17[SPEAKER_15]: workable for people wanting to share on the paper at least online.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_10]: Well, thanks for the call.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_10]: All righty by now.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's too bad.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_10]: That's too bad.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_10]: You know, I was noted with some sadness and the obituary's Colonel Terry Roach.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_10]: Everybody remembers him.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_10]: He was active in the tree and burn all of that for a lot of years.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_10]: I met up back when he was Garrison commander at Fort Grum.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_10]: So interesting guy.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_10]: I'm looking at the website.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_10]: I don't it is different than it was and they also have their other papers the Malone Telegram the advanced news the journal Republican and Lowville but I'm looking at it they've got from the Times files looking backward thing photo gallery and then they got some stories about backpacks at the high school and that thing out at the mall.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know
- 44:17[SPEAKER_10]: yeah there's a poll if you've ever been to the state fair i put a time or two i don't yeah i don't really and that's beyond me now so anyway i i get the thing every day so there you go um i backpacks in the schools i didn't have that when i was in school yeah i was different back then
- 44:43[SPEAKER_10]: So I have to go over this again for him.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_10]: So I can annoy somebody.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_10]: You didn't carry a backpack.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_10]: You had a locker in high school.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_10]: And you put your code in it.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_10]: And your books, your pile, some, and their notebooks.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_10]: Sometimes you had the binder things with the paper, and sometimes you didn't.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, you carry the books under your arm.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_10]: Mine was my left arm.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_10]: Some are under right arm, underneath it against your hip.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_10]: And unless you were a young lady,
- 45:14[SPEAKER_10]: close to your chest kind of wrapped your arm around him.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_10]: If you were a biological male and held them that way, you were immediately labeled and stigmatized.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_10]: So you didn't do that.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_10]: So that's the way it was.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_10]: There were no backpacks.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_10]: Or at any other hand, we weren't bringing guns and drugs and all that stuff to school.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_10]: So, uh, I don't know about the backpacks.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_10]: I know that one of the schools experimented with transparent ones a few years back.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_10]: Um, you know, you certainly don't want contraband being transported around and somebody getting hurt, but it's a shame.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_10]: It's a shame.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_10]: You can't carry a backpack.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_10]: You're on the air.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_14]: How are you doing?
- 45:55[SPEAKER_10]: Good.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_10]: What's up?
- 45:56[SPEAKER_14]: Just listening to the show today.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_10]: Really?
- 45:59[SPEAKER_14]: Yep.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_14]: Um, I kind of want to do a just one of your callers.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_14]: the woman cally from shimo yeah i don't want to get into arguing with it no listen though shimo is a good village yeah it is it's good people you would think that she could reach out to somebody in the village for help you know i mean with a lot of homes we have to start looking out for one another don't want you what you don't want to get into is what we really need to get into you know she just called your show and told everybody her testimony basically
- 46:32[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, well, why don't we just leave it at that?
- 46:35[SPEAKER_10]: What else is on your mind?
- 46:36[SPEAKER_14]: Well, and see, there's one of my mind.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_14]: The race for the New Year 21.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_17]: Mm-hmm.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_14]: I'm telling you, the agenda being campaign is a hope.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_14]: It's a hope.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_14]: I've been around here for over 20 years.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_14]: I've never seen a campaign like this in my life.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_14]: Never.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_14]: It's a hope, man.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_14]: I'm almost thinking that he's trying to take attention away from the governor's race.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that race is pretty much over.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_10]: I, Mr.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_10]: Gender Bean will be here in the studio on middle of this month.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_10]: I can't quite see the calendar.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's the, uh, 15th, 16th somewhere in there, and he'll be on Glenn's show.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_10]: So let me an opportunity to address him and here what he has to say, um, I don't know.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_10]: I've never met him.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_10]: So I can't really say.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_14]: I said one thing bad about him when I'm saying is the whole thing is and I'll even say this I think that he's even being led by the New York City Democrats.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_10]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_10]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_10]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_10]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_14]: Well he is a simple farmer, yeah.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_14]: right i know i mean obviously those people who can hear me right now live in twenty one and i hope they make it in form choice i hope we are able to hear from both the candidates here on the air and read up on them all right all this and the beat up on like done to being i think all right is that this campaign is a hunt tonight think democrats in the north country and republican in the north country to take a really good
- 48:28[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I, you know, I hope they do too and I'm sure they will vote who do take a good look at things.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_10]: And we have some listeners who will vote party no matter what, but we have some who look at the candidates and make a determination.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_10]: And then there's the 40% of people listening who will not be voting this fall because they don't want to.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_10]: So, you know, it's just the way it is.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_10]: I'll make you choice, listen to them, whether on this show elsewhere or on a debate or newspaper story or whatever you want to listen to.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_10]: And whatever you decide is the right choice, there is no right or wrong choice.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_10]: It's your decision.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_10]: And somebody will win and somebody won't.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_10]: It's that simple.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll wait and see the governor's race, the latest sienna poll has, you have the
- 49:26[SPEAKER_10]: I think that's probably a fair read on the race based on just following it.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_10]: I would have had seen this guy, I heard of him.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_10]: He's got some things on Facebook and X and all of that and some what are supposed to be clever vignettes and not all that clever and I just don't see it.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_10]: I don't see a lot going on there.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, for a campaign, you know, how cool she doesn't.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_10]: She stands for Democratic status quo.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_10]: She said, you know, well, she's the one who's, you know, got to be the lead-up to Mom Dami in four years when he runs for governor.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_10]: Alrighty, thank you.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_10]: And let's see.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody texted in about this whole thing with beer and you go beverage down in this we go, yes, they did apparently.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_10]: It's been a rocky transition.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_10]: We're supposed to get our order today.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody text and heard entire workforce was laid off and needs to apply for job with new owner.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_10]: I guess that's often done.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_10]: That way you're not terminating people.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_10]: You don't get into the problems of terminating people.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_10]: You're strictly making hiring decisions.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_10]: Plus it shields the previous employer from anything so if they resign.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_10]: So that's kind of.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_10]: maybe what's going on but i don't know we'll see if they deliver today and i hope they do and i know some other people uh i've tried to give them phone numbers they can hook up with somebody wasn't the best of transitions uh i did meet a guy from the group company based out in uh Wisconsin he seemed nice seemed concerned so we'll hope for the best but alia trace a lot of this to you know new arc state has this monopoly system
- 51:14[SPEAKER_10]: Doesn't really matter what the service is you got to deal with certain people if you want certain products.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon you're on the air.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_13]: I have to know Jeff.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_13]: I didn't see if I can help this guy out with the newspaper.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_13]: I live out in the country so if I was to have it delivered, I probably did the paper the next day.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_13]: That's why I have it digitally.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_13]: And if he clicks on his old W Watertown Times icon, you know, it'll direct him to the
- 51:45[SPEAKER_13]: home page of the NNY360, if the opens up the NNY360, on the left hand top, there's a three lines, and you click on that, scroll to the very bottom, and it'll have the addition, and you click on the addition of the change the whole format too, but you click on the
- 52:14[SPEAKER_13]: over the rather poor publications okay i've got the uh... the thing on the left you know that's uh... something else came up you mean you have to go to like waters on daily times dot com no no no you you you if you if you were prior subscriber as i was as i assume he was you you had your it was an app so you have the i can

- 52:51[SPEAKER_13]: There's the three bars on the left side.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_10]: Oh wait a minute.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_10]: I'm looking at Janell's 7th thing.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_10]: You're a hold on here.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not even looking at the right thing.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_10]: Let me work.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_10]: You go ahead and keep talking.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_10]: I'll try to get you.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_13]: You're scrolled on the bottom of that page and there's the additions.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_13]: Once that opens, there's a home page for e-additions, and you have to scroll down and choose the water-town daily times.
- 53:19[UNKNOWN]: Out of, they've got water-town daily times, blown telegraph, the journal Republican.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_10]: Gotcha, all right, I'm there, I'm there, I'm getting there.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_10]: It's the very last thing, I can't read it here.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_13]: I mean and they give us no notice that they were going to do this or anything.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_13]: It was just, you know, boom, find out on your own.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, here's the E edition, yeah.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_10]: And we want to look at the times the edition, right?
- 53:50[SPEAKER_13]: Correct.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you can't look at the other one.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_13]: They've changed the format.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_13]: They're definitely using more pixels in the photographs and all this.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_13]: It's a lot brighter.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_10]: in the old format you could tap on an article and it would you that whole article you wouldn't have to go to all right but i can't get it on this one because uh... but uh... you don't subscribe here but i do it home so i'll look at it there right right so i mean maybe i help them out there well i hope you did okay well thank you're so much
