- 0:03Speaker 1: You're listening to Talking Traders with Me Tamara Judge. Hey, guys,
- 0:12Speaker 1: welcome to Talking Traders with Tamar Judge. Today we have
- 0:15Speaker 1: a special guest, Dan the Trader.
- 0:21Speaker 2: What's going on? Tamar's so good to see you.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I know, we have actually not really spoke since we
- 0:26Speaker 1: were in the castle.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not going to say whose fault that was,
- 0:30Speaker 3: But when we got out, I was like, blah blah
- 0:32Speaker 3: blah blah, DM Tammer, what's up?
- 0:34Speaker 2: What's up? What's up?
- 0:35Speaker 1: And I thought you murdered me, Dan?
- 0:38Speaker 2: So when did that change?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Like when did you go from like okay, Dan was
- 0:41Speaker 3: like after me to like, no, Dan really liked me
- 0:43Speaker 3: and was trying to work with me in the game.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Well, I don't know that I ever thought that, but
- 0:48Speaker 1: I think that. I mean, I don't want to give
- 0:52Speaker 1: too much away because we have the reunion, but we
- 0:54Speaker 1: had a full conversation the night before I got murdered,
- 0:56Speaker 1: so obviously I thought it wasn't shown, so maybe we'll
- 1:02Speaker 1: see a little clip of it at the reunion. But
- 1:05Speaker 1: I truly thought that you were the one that murdered me.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And I'm like, damn it. He had me con I
- 1:09Speaker 1: knew you were a Trader. I knew it. I knew it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I knew it, So it was just one of those things. Well,
- 1:16Speaker 1: obviously I suspected it. I wasn't one hundred percent certain,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but I felt it and I felt like we could
- 1:21Speaker 1: work together. But that didn't work out because I was murdered. Yes,
- 1:27Speaker 1: let's get into some host chat.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I have some.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Questions for you. Let's do it, and we had some
- 1:32Speaker 1: fans ask some questions, and here they are. You were
- 1:36Speaker 1: the first Trader to be banished, but you lasted until
- 1:39Speaker 1: episode six. Did you think you're gonna be able to
- 1:41Speaker 1: make it to the end. I mean, I think everybody
- 1:43Speaker 1: was hoping.
- 1:43Speaker 3: But yeah, Like going into it, I'm like, Okay, if
- 1:46Speaker 3: people don't know who I am, I have a chance
- 1:48Speaker 3: to like stay in the game.
- 1:49Speaker 2: If anyone knows who I am, I'm in trouble.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Like it's been so long since I've been on TV,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and so when I got there, I'm like, hammer has
- 1:55Speaker 3: no clue how I am.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Like most people didn't know who I was.
- 1:58Speaker 3: No, so that was like that actually helped out a
- 2:01Speaker 3: ton until Janelle blew everything up.
- 2:04Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I mean, I wanted to go and have fun and
- 2:06Speaker 3: challenge myself and it was such a cool show. You know,
- 2:08Speaker 3: it's how could you not want to be a part
- 2:10Speaker 3: of this? And I think you know now that season
- 2:13Speaker 3: two is done extremely well. I think a lot of
- 2:15Speaker 3: people are now knocking on the door get oh for sure.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So how long had it been since you been on TV?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Last time I was on TV, like competing was twenty twelve.
- 2:24Speaker 3: So I've done some my guest things, but never to
- 2:27Speaker 3: this capacity.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah wow? And then how did you get cast on
- 2:31Speaker 1: the show? So?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Actually I got an email last season it's like, hey,
- 2:36Speaker 3: do you want to come on the Traders?
- 2:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, I don't know what this is. I
- 2:38Speaker 2: just deleted it.
- 2:39Speaker 3: And so this time around, I actually got a text
- 2:43Speaker 3: and it's like, hey, we sent you two offers to
- 2:45Speaker 3: come on the show.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Will you please look at it?
- 2:47Speaker 3: And I'm like what, like, because you know, sometimes people
- 2:49Speaker 3: leak your number somehow you get it. I looked at
- 2:51Speaker 3: it and I was just like, okay, you know it
- 2:53Speaker 3: was I knew what the show was at that time,
- 2:55Speaker 3: and it was interesting enough where I was excited to
- 2:57Speaker 3: play another game.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I had a weird way of being cassed.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, how did you get cassed.
- 3:02Speaker 1: So evidently production, which I've already worked on a show
- 3:07Speaker 1: on Peacocks, they have my information. So that's why I
- 3:09Speaker 1: was confusing. To me. Two different agents reached out to
- 3:12Speaker 1: me and be like, hey, would you want to be
- 3:13Speaker 1: on Traders? And I'm like, well yeah, and then I'm thinking, like,
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's just bullshit. It's just people trying to pitch my
- 3:20Speaker 1: name or something like that. And then evidently they two
- 3:23Speaker 1: different people were negotiating for me. So I called Andy
- 3:27Speaker 1: and I go, wouldn't they just come to me? Why
- 3:31Speaker 1: are they going through random agents that I haven't worked
- 3:34Speaker 1: with in years, Like, I don't understand this. He's like, yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 1: let me get to the bottom of it. And then
- 3:38Speaker 1: the casting director called me and she's like, I don't
- 3:41Speaker 1: even know what's going on, but we almost just threw
- 3:43Speaker 1: you to the side because these people are negotiating hard
- 3:45Speaker 1: for you. So I was like, all like, who are they?
- 3:48Speaker 1: I don't even know who they are?
- 3:50Speaker 2: And do you like circumvent them and just go right
- 3:53Speaker 2: to Peacocks.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I want writ to keep Peacock. I go, I've worked
- 3:57Speaker 1: for this network for many, many years under this umbrella.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Why all of a.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Sudden is somebody gonna get a cut of you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I just I was like, no, no, no, no.
- 4:06Speaker 2: No, no, no, good for you. That's awesome.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Okay, so let's get to it. Before you were voted off,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you wrote down Phaedra's name at the round table watching
- 4:15Speaker 1: the show back. Are you surprised she still hasn't been
- 4:18Speaker 1: voted off yet?
- 4:20Speaker 3: No, I'm not surprised because that's how I saw her.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I saw her as like the number one threat to
- 4:25Speaker 3: win the game. She's so likable, she's great in one
- 4:28Speaker 3: to one, like just everyone in the house liked her
- 4:30Speaker 3: and no one suspected her. And to me, that was
- 4:32Speaker 3: a problem because it's like, how are you gonna win
- 4:34Speaker 3: when someone's playing this well? And so to me, the
- 4:38Speaker 3: path to victory was unfortunately through Phaedra, and it, you know,
- 4:41Speaker 3: didn't work out. And I think when I went after
- 4:44Speaker 3: her and she totally demolished me, it also put people
- 4:47Speaker 3: on alert, like you're gonna come after her, like you
- 4:50Speaker 3: better be ironclad because she's just dismantled people time and
- 4:54Speaker 3: time again.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Do you think she has a strategy or do you
- 4:58Speaker 1: think she's or this is her strategy? Just go in.
- 5:00Speaker 1: They're not really talk game and just pray on everybody
- 5:03Speaker 1: and be sweet and were delicious and you know, all
- 5:06Speaker 1: these things that she would throw our way. Like now
- 5:10Speaker 1: we see Kate with her going, do you not have
- 5:13Speaker 1: a plan? If you're going a trader this whole time,
- 5:15Speaker 1: you don't have a plan. Her plan was just good bye,
- 5:17Speaker 1: sweet talking people.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That's how I felt.
- 5:19Speaker 3: And the trader's turt with her is that I would
- 5:22Speaker 3: like throw an idea out and it was just kind
- 5:23Speaker 3: of like sure, whatever, which is why I want to
- 5:25Speaker 3: bring Parverty in. But not to take anything away from Faedra,
- 5:27Speaker 3: it's you know, I we're like the opposite. I'm looking
- 5:30Speaker 3: like seventeen steps down the road and she's like minute
- 5:32Speaker 3: to minute and in this kind of game, like the
- 5:35Speaker 3: way she's playing it is more effective because she's just adapting,
- 5:40Speaker 3: you know, as it goes. And I think she just
- 5:42Speaker 3: has done a great job. And what I like to
- 5:44Speaker 3: call the hand to hand combat, meaning like when someone
- 5:47Speaker 3: comes at her, she's right back at him, and then
- 5:49Speaker 3: you're kind of like, oh, that was a good answer,
- 5:51Speaker 3: and let's find someone else who's.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Not a trader.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Well, I mean by trade, she has been taught to negotiate.
- 5:58Speaker 1: She's an attorney's what she's doing. And sometimes you listen
- 6:01Speaker 1: to what she's saying, you're like, well, you really put
- 6:04Speaker 1: me on place, but it really didn't make much sense, Like, yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 1: I know.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Actually she's done a great job, and I think, you know,
- 6:11Speaker 3: she's risen to be such an entertaining star of the show.
- 6:14Speaker 3: But I also think, yeah, when you're in those situations,
- 6:16Speaker 3: like you can dodge a couple of bullets from like
- 6:18Speaker 3: a couple round tables. But it's, as you can see
- 6:21Speaker 3: in the last episode, it starts to get a little
- 6:23Speaker 3: bit harder when it's not the first time you're defending yourself.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Vhaeder is definitely the queen of read, like she.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Is what what does that mean? What does that queen
- 6:32Speaker 2: of Reid mean?
- 6:33Speaker 1: You can read anybody. She can just put you in
- 6:36Speaker 1: your place like that. She is probably one of the
- 6:41Speaker 1: best housewives for sure.
- 6:44Speaker 3: And because I knew nothing about her going into this, obviously,
- 6:47Speaker 3: you know, because you know, if I knew anything about her,
- 6:50Speaker 3: probably wouldn't have taken that approach.
- 6:51Speaker 1: She's she's a staple. I'm hoping she'll come back to Housewives.
- 6:55Speaker 1: She is on Married to Medicine. It's actually a show
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't watch, so I don't. I watched so many
- 7:00Speaker 1: shows I just can't keep up with all of them.
- 7:03Speaker 1: But Dan, where do you think you went wrong in
- 7:04Speaker 1: the gameplay? If you could go back, would you change
- 7:07Speaker 1: your strategy?
- 7:09Speaker 3: I think, you know, in the moment, I wouldn't change
- 7:11Speaker 3: anything just because I did the best I could. But now,
- 7:14Speaker 3: with like a bird's eye view, I'd like a list
- 7:16Speaker 3: of like twenty things I would do different. And I
- 7:18Speaker 3: think one of the things is that I'm generally more introverted,
- 7:22Speaker 3: and I think I played really really slow.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know, I was able.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I felt really comfortable with you, but also we spent
- 7:28Speaker 3: a lot of time together, yeah, in transit, and so
- 7:31Speaker 3: to me, I'm like, listen first and talk second, because
- 7:34Speaker 3: that's what's done well for me in the past, and
- 7:37Speaker 3: it didn't do well for me this time around.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Yeah. For me, I expected everybody to think, oh God,
- 7:42Speaker 1: here comes out hot tempered blonde that goes off on housewives.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So I thought, like, you know, going into it, I
- 7:48Speaker 1: was going to be you know, quiet, reserved. I was
- 7:51Speaker 1: going to watch, which is not normally my nature. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: then of course I got sick, and then I was
- 7:57Speaker 1: so sick and I've always felt like it was a
- 7:59Speaker 1: God's way of saying, just sit your put down and listen,
- 8:02Speaker 1: keep your mouth shut.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and we like we were all worried about you,
- 8:05Speaker 3: and then when you came back, it was like you're
- 8:07Speaker 3: you're back, and I know you're battling through it.
- 8:08Speaker 2: But also your voice was like you know.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was bad, and the resilience it was really bad.
- 8:13Speaker 3: But I will say like, because my you know, my
- 8:16Speaker 3: wife is a big fan of you. I you know,
- 8:17Speaker 3: I knew who you were coming in, you know, like
- 8:19Speaker 3: when I saw you andim like, I know exactly who
- 8:21Speaker 3: that is. But really I felt like you were pretty
- 8:23Speaker 3: even keeled, with the exception of Kevin.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Like when you were kept going after Kevin, I'm like, okay,
- 8:27Speaker 2: this is what I'm using.
- 8:28Speaker 1: He bought this ship out of me. He really did.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm like, how can I mean I like Kevin. I'm
- 8:36Speaker 1: not going to say I dislike him, but he just
- 8:38Speaker 1: has a way of getting under your skin.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I felt like that.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I mean, Kate found him annoying and said he should be,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you know, gone, just because he's annoying.
- 8:48Speaker 3: He's a great guy, but it was fun to watch you,
- 8:50Speaker 3: like I saw like your your your meter go off,
- 8:53Speaker 3: and I'm like, I haven't seen this from Tama the
- 8:54Speaker 3: whole time.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Then yeah, well then John. At first I was convinced
- 8:58Speaker 1: John was a trader and the very beginning for sure.
- 9:01Speaker 1: And now like watching the show and I'm so happy
- 9:05Speaker 1: John has gotten this far. And in some weird universe,
- 9:08Speaker 1: I miss his long winded explanations at the round table.
- 9:13Speaker 3: So you feel like how he's perceived on television is
- 9:15Speaker 3: not like in real life. I felt like you would
- 9:17Speaker 3: just talk and talk and talk, and on the show
- 9:19Speaker 3: it's kind of just like little bite sized John.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It is bite sized John. But we lived it and
- 9:25Speaker 1: we saw it and we're like, oh, John, just stop.
- 9:28Speaker 1: That's why when I said, John, you just went around
- 9:30Speaker 1: your elbow to get your ass. You've talked every which way,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but you know the right way, and we have no
- 9:36Speaker 1: idea what you're talking. Spoken like a true politician.
- 9:41Speaker 2: You weren't wrong, you weren't.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Do you know who John was?
- 9:43Speaker 2: When I had no clue?
- 9:45Speaker 3: I mean, there's like there's a lot of people I
- 9:47Speaker 3: didn't know, and he was one of them. And I
- 9:50Speaker 3: think a lot of the Bravo people I was aware of,
- 9:53Speaker 3: but not I didn't know like the depths of like
- 9:55Speaker 3: Phaedra or Chara or MG.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I knew who they were, but I didn't, you know,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I never watch them.
- 9:59Speaker 3: You I'm like my wife when I went in, she's like,
- 10:02Speaker 3: if Tamra is there, or be friends with her because
- 10:04Speaker 3: she's really loyal and you know you, she'll probably work
- 10:07Speaker 3: together with you.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I wanted to like we, like you said,
- 10:10Speaker 1: we got really close because we were both kind of quiet.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, I went in there. I didn't know
- 10:15Speaker 1: what the fuck I was doing. I'm like, I don't
- 10:18Speaker 1: know why I'm here. I'm just here because I'm in Scotland.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Let's just figure this out, you know. And then being sick,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, conscious, send me home please?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Can I ask you something?
- 10:27Speaker 3: When you when you got sent home and you you
- 10:30Speaker 3: felt it was me as someone who hasn't played a
- 10:34Speaker 3: show like this, like your life's on TV, but it's
- 10:37Speaker 3: not like a competitive It is competitive, but it's not
- 10:39Speaker 3: like a game, right, How did you take that? Like
- 10:42Speaker 3: when you immediately got voted off and it kind of
- 10:44Speaker 3: set it in, were you like mad or were you
- 10:46Speaker 3: just like, oh, it's it is what it is.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I think a little bit of everything. To answer your question,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I mean, I cried. I knew that I was being
- 10:54Speaker 1: murdered when I was waiting in the room. I was
- 10:57Speaker 1: in the room with Sandra and somebody else because there's
- 10:59Speaker 1: one bedroom that they hold you in, so guys, they
- 11:02Speaker 1: would split us apart before breakfast. It was early in
- 11:06Speaker 1: the morning, nine o'clock in the morning or so. You know,
- 11:08Speaker 1: there was probably about four different holding areas, and this
- 11:12Speaker 1: holding area that we were in is the holding area
- 11:15Speaker 1: I was in when Bananas got murdered. So I saw
- 11:19Speaker 1: him go out. And it happens to be a room
- 11:21Speaker 1: where you just walk right across the courtyard and you
- 11:24Speaker 1: go to the chair where your paper is. So when
- 11:29Speaker 1: I was in that room, I'm like, I don't know,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and I was the first one and I turned and
- 11:35Speaker 1: I think it was Sandra. I think it was Sandra,
- 11:38Speaker 1: maybe MJ. And I almost said, if I murdered, it's Dan,
- 11:43Speaker 1: and then I thought, okay, that would be cheating. There's
- 11:45Speaker 1: no cameras on us. I can't say that. So I
- 11:48Speaker 1: went out. Of course, you're taken across the courtyard. That's
- 11:51Speaker 1: not the way to breakfast. And I sat down and
- 11:56Speaker 1: I'm like part of me was relieved because you know,
- 11:59Speaker 1: we talked about this. I'm very much a homebody. I'm
- 12:03Speaker 1: with my husband all the time. I'm with my daughter,
- 12:05Speaker 1: my only daughters, you know, at home still, and it's
- 12:08Speaker 1: very hard for me to go away, even when we
- 12:11Speaker 1: go on vacation. I a weak max and I need
- 12:15Speaker 1: to get home. I want to go home. So it
- 12:18Speaker 1: was wayne heavy on me. And then plus being had
- 12:20Speaker 1: been so sick, I wanted to go home, but I
- 12:23Speaker 1: was also starting to feel better, and I'm like, now
- 12:26Speaker 1: I want to play. Now, I want to like all
- 12:29Speaker 1: the big mouths are gone. Now let's get down and dirty.
- 12:34Speaker 1: And I think I told you that then the night before,
- 12:37Speaker 1: like I let's play this game. We are known as
- 12:39Speaker 1: the quiet ones. Right now, let's let's shake shit up.
- 12:44Speaker 3: And that's what when when I was watching you, like
- 12:46Speaker 3: with your when your murder speech, I'm like, there's a
- 12:49Speaker 3: moment when I'm like, you can feel a real emotion
- 12:51Speaker 3: from me. We're like, man, she really was sad and
- 12:54Speaker 3: like and my end, I'm like, it was sad because
- 12:57Speaker 3: I didn't want you. That's like one of the one
- 12:58Speaker 3: murder I'm like, I don't want to go down like
- 13:01Speaker 3: this because I want I liked you and we were
- 13:03Speaker 3: I felt like we had a good relationship in the game,
- 13:05Speaker 3: and that's one of like the lists of twenty things
- 13:07Speaker 3: that went wrong.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Does that happen you leave the game?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Well, would you say Big Brother is harder or Traders?
- 13:15Speaker 3: For me, big Brother is more strenuous, like it's like
- 13:19Speaker 3: ninety days, But Traders for me was completely out of
- 13:23Speaker 3: my comfort zone. And big Brother, like there'd be confrontations
- 13:27Speaker 3: and I would sit someone down like that was pissed
- 13:29Speaker 3: at me, and in like thirty minutes we'd be cool.
- 13:32Speaker 3: And Traders you don't have that time and it's like
- 13:34Speaker 3: bang bang bang and I For me, Traders was more difficult.
- 13:38Speaker 3: But from a readjustment to real life standpoint, this felt
- 13:42Speaker 3: like a job, like it was a fun job, where
- 13:44Speaker 3: Big Brother feels like your life, and so this was
- 13:47Speaker 3: easier for me to go back to normal life once
- 13:49Speaker 3: it was over.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Now, a lot of people I've talked to, after you're
- 14:00Speaker 1: murdered and you go home, it messes with your head
- 14:03Speaker 1: for a few weeks, like you still have that song
- 14:06Speaker 1: in your head that they would play for us, and
- 14:08Speaker 1: if it wasn't in your head, you'd play it on
- 14:10Speaker 1: your phone, like it's really a mind like you get
- 14:13Speaker 1: out of what seems like this this video game that
- 14:17Speaker 1: you're in, Like your world is turned into a video game.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You have no outside influences, you have no cell phone,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you don't know what time it is half the time,
- 14:25Speaker 1: you don't know what date is unless you look at
- 14:27Speaker 1: your thermostat on the wall and it had the date
- 14:30Speaker 1: on there. The only way I knew what day was.
- 14:32Speaker 1: So it was you get home and it's hard to
- 14:36Speaker 1: go back to normal life. And that's why they have
- 14:37Speaker 1: like therapists that call us. I'm like, what you're gonna
- 14:41Speaker 1: call me? Why would you call me like I'm going home,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna be fine. It's weird.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's where it's like, for me, this was
- 14:48Speaker 3: as crazy it sounds, this was easier to address. You
- 14:50Speaker 3: still experience some things like you wake up and you're
- 14:53Speaker 3: you know, thinking you're getting back in the cars. But
- 14:55Speaker 3: for me, Big Brother was like that times one hundred,
- 14:58Speaker 3: you know, and it's you're gone for days instead of
- 15:01Speaker 3: three weeks. And but this was just a really I
- 15:03Speaker 3: felt like this was a you know, Parverdy said this,
- 15:06Speaker 3: this was a show first in a game second, and I.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Can appreciate this for what it was. It was such
- 15:10Speaker 2: a fun.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Experience and and but there are elements when you're when
- 15:14Speaker 3: you're done and you're like it's still not done in
- 15:17Speaker 3: your head.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Do you think that the Housewives are playing like making
- 15:20Speaker 1: a show and the gamers are playing a game.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I think the Housewives are doing both, you know, I
- 15:27Speaker 3: think you look at the cast as a whole, and
- 15:29Speaker 3: I think there's really no one that let you down,
- 15:32Speaker 3: Like it's I feel like everyone brought their best to
- 15:35Speaker 3: the show. And that's one of the fun things, is
- 15:36Speaker 3: like we're all grown adults, but everyone there and I'm
- 15:39Speaker 3: sure you can speak this was trying hard. It was
- 15:41Speaker 3: important to everyone. There was no one who like thought
- 15:43Speaker 3: they were above the show. And I think that came
- 15:46Speaker 3: out in the end product, like everyone like there's moments
- 15:48Speaker 3: for everyone in the show. And I think if you
- 15:51Speaker 3: take some people out of the cast, it's not the
- 15:53Speaker 3: same show. Like it was such a unique dynamic. And yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 3: the rubbing of personalities and explosions, it was. It was awesome.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Would you go back?
- 16:01Speaker 3: You know, this is one thing I would do again
- 16:03Speaker 3: because I've learned so much. I made so many mistakes
- 16:06Speaker 3: and played against you know a lot of different people
- 16:08Speaker 3: I normally wouldn't play against, like like you as a housewife,
- 16:11Speaker 3: like you're used to like fighting for your life because
- 16:13Speaker 3: people are always coming at you.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Mean you did it last night. I did it last night.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I was filming going by the way, or can you
- 16:19Speaker 2: talk about it? Is it good?
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's going, it's going. I mean we're about five weeks
- 16:23Speaker 1: in and whoo yep, fought for my life last night.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Can I ask you one hundred percent no bs question.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, when you're on the show, is that you or
- 16:32Speaker 3: is that you turned up?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Or is it you making a show? Like to me,
- 16:37Speaker 2: it's well, here's.
- 16:38Speaker 1: The thing, and this is what I'm trying to maneuver
- 16:40Speaker 1: through this season. I have. I was a drama girl,
- 16:45Speaker 1: so when I got on stage, I was relatively quiet
- 16:48Speaker 1: in my normal life. But when I got on stage
- 16:50Speaker 1: or cameras in front of me, I would naturally pump
- 16:53Speaker 1: it up. And I sometimes feel like, yeah, I will
- 16:56Speaker 1: pump it up. I mean alcohol driven things because I'm
- 17:00Speaker 1: not normally like a big drinker. So I know that
- 17:03Speaker 1: that's my I don't know that's my liquid courage. When
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm on the show. So sometimes like you know what,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I act like that. No, So I'm trying to be like, Okay,
- 17:13Speaker 1: you don't have to be all the things camera, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: don't have to be you have to do all the
- 17:16Speaker 1: things like so yeah, I don't have to have my
- 17:19Speaker 1: AK forty seven's out in every scene, you know. So
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm you'll probably see a little bit of a different,
- 17:25Speaker 1: softer me this season.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Okay, you know you'll see Well, let me ask this
- 17:31Speaker 2: so so okay, so I think the answer is like
- 17:32Speaker 2: you turn you'll turn it up because you know how
- 17:34Speaker 2: cameras are on, but you, as your everyday person, you're
- 17:37Speaker 2: a little more chill.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm very chill.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Is everyone on the show turn up or some people
- 17:42Speaker 3: just like that are somehow so.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I have to just think everybody. I think everybody turns
- 17:46Speaker 1: up to a certain degree for sure.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Okay, all right, for sure.
- 17:51Speaker 1: But let's talk about this episode. So this is a
- 17:53Speaker 1: big episode. Kate has been recruited and people are gunning
- 17:57Speaker 1: for Fadra. Do you think Kate and Faedra make a
- 17:59Speaker 1: good trader team?
- 18:01Speaker 3: I think it's was funny to watch how quickly of
- 18:04Speaker 3: all people, like, of all people and we love her.
- 18:07Speaker 3: MJ is like bust Kate within the first five minutes,
- 18:12Speaker 3: and it's like.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Crazy's like kind of floating around doing all these things,
- 18:16Speaker 2: but these.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Like moments of incredible insight and you're like, how does
- 18:20Speaker 3: she figure this stuff out?
- 18:21Speaker 1: I know, is that would that have been your pick,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Kate or would you chose somebody else?
- 18:27Speaker 2: At that point?
- 18:28Speaker 3: I would have picked CT someone you know, CT, someone
- 18:32Speaker 3: where it's like there's a game, like another reality competitorship.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I agree. I mean CT has just been kind of
- 18:39Speaker 1: flying under the radar, and you know, he's a big gamer.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You would think like he'd be the first one to
- 18:44Speaker 1: be a trader. But yeah, I think, and I also
- 18:47Speaker 1: think that Phager should have picked Peter so he would
- 18:52Speaker 1: he would stop stop coming from her.
- 18:54Speaker 3: You know, that would have been interesting to see Peter
- 18:56Speaker 3: in the jail and it's like, here's this guy who's
- 18:59Speaker 3: on this crusade and it's like you're literally have to
- 19:02Speaker 3: join or you leave the game.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And it's what a.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Twist, What a twist? I mean, they have stepped it
- 19:08Speaker 1: up the season. I mean to have her put in
- 19:10Speaker 1: that Gail, that dungeon, whatever she was, and she's just
- 19:13Speaker 1: sitting like standing there like you know, it makes it
- 19:15Speaker 1: look like she'd been there overnight. You know, it was
- 19:17Speaker 1: just crazy.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Let me ask you this real quick on Peter because
- 19:20Speaker 3: I'm a big Peter fan, but me too, what is
- 19:22Speaker 3: your Do you feel like your perception of him playing
- 19:26Speaker 3: the game is different than watching him on television? Because
- 19:28Speaker 3: I feel that way like I didn't feel like I
- 19:30Speaker 3: feel like on TV it's very like they put them
- 19:32Speaker 3: as like holier than now, but I didn't get that
- 19:35Speaker 3: feel in person.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Did. It's funny because I felt like Peter didn't really
- 19:40Speaker 1: like me or we just never connected the first half
- 19:43Speaker 1: of when I was there, so when we would film,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I just felt like I just didn't know him, and
- 19:48Speaker 1: I felt like, well, he doesn't want to get to
- 19:50Speaker 1: know me. And then where things changed with me and
- 19:53Speaker 1: Peter is when we did the laser light in the
- 19:56Speaker 1: middle of the night and he's like, hey, you know, Tam,
- 20:00Speaker 1: there's a shield over there if you want to get it.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And I just felt like at that point then that
- 20:04Speaker 1: kind of gave us like open the door for us
- 20:06Speaker 1: to talk. And then after that I was really just
- 20:09Speaker 1: listening to what he was saying. I knew he wasn't
- 20:12Speaker 1: I felt like he wasn't a trader, so I was like, okay,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, he just became just
- 20:17Speaker 1: this sweet guy. To me, he was just so sweet.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But to see him now, like you knew talking to him,
- 20:25Speaker 1: he's smart and he is thinking about the game at
- 20:30Speaker 1: all times, much like Janelle.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I'd agree with that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Janelle was always like I would look across the room
- 20:36Speaker 1: at her and she'd just be gazing and you could
- 20:38Speaker 1: see her mind was going, going, going, It was always gaming.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So I knew Peter was good at what he was doing.
- 20:45Speaker 3: But but no, to circle back. I think it's an
- 20:47Speaker 3: interesting choice. And and I just found MJ fascinating. You know,
- 20:51Speaker 3: she said she had a great job. I was on
- 20:52Speaker 3: the show where it's just like, where did that come from?
- 20:55Speaker 1: I know, do you think it's Peter's fault that the
- 20:58Speaker 1: faithfuls are starting to turn on him? Or do you
- 21:00Speaker 1: think that the trader's manipulation has just been that good?
- 21:04Speaker 3: I think that the Bravo click is so tight, and
- 21:09Speaker 3: I think you do.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I was going to ask you that you think the
- 21:12Speaker 1: Bravo click is tight, because you know, I was part
- 21:15Speaker 1: of that Bravo click and I kind of felt like
- 21:16Speaker 1: there was a disconnection between me and Charay. You know,
- 21:23Speaker 1: me and char are friends, but when we were there,
- 21:25Speaker 1: we were both looking at each other like, I'll trust you,
- 21:28Speaker 1: you don't trust me. I know what Housewise up cable of.
- 21:31Speaker 1: So I didn't feel like it was And we never
- 21:35Speaker 1: really voted the same either. So that's why I'm like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: why do people just grow on the same network? And
- 21:39Speaker 1: I think that got brought up in this episode. Oh,
- 21:42Speaker 1: they're on the same network, Like it's like, so what,
- 21:44Speaker 1: Like we're all here to play the same game. So
- 21:46Speaker 1: I personally didn't feel tight with any of the girls.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I feel like the second half of the game really,
- 21:52Speaker 3: like after I got voted out, that that's when you
- 21:55Speaker 3: saw the battle lines drawn. And I think that, you know,
- 21:59Speaker 3: cause I think Peter a really compelling argument and he
- 22:01Speaker 3: knew the week before the numbers were starting to get
- 22:04Speaker 3: out of hand, and I just feel like, when you
- 22:06Speaker 3: make that compelling of an argument and it still doesn't fly,
- 22:10Speaker 3: I think there's, you know, something else at work, and
- 22:13Speaker 3: it's just your trust. It's like, are you going to
- 22:15Speaker 3: trust someone who you're familiar with or some guy who
- 22:18Speaker 3: you know you're not really that sure of. And I
- 22:20Speaker 3: think he may have, you know, And I love this
- 22:23Speaker 3: about the game, like what people are saying, like Peter's
- 22:25Speaker 3: doing too much, like planning all these seeds and traps
- 22:27Speaker 3: and all these theories.
- 22:28Speaker 2: That's what I love to see.
- 22:29Speaker 3: But I think that also caught up with him in
- 22:31Speaker 3: the end because you saw him lose a ton of distrust.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah, people that never question him.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Let's talk about your exit speech.
- 22:39Speaker 2: What you finding out?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Well, well, what would you have done it over again?
- 22:45Speaker 3: The exit specially like going after Fader or when I'm
- 22:48Speaker 3: in there, I think we're you know, I had so
- 22:52Speaker 3: many missteps, But I think one is that I think
- 22:56Speaker 3: with Janelle there, if I take the shot a week earlier,
- 22:59Speaker 3: I think there's a I have a better chance to survive.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I don't know that the outcomes different because I just
- 23:05Speaker 3: didn't know who Faedra was, Like I didn't know that
- 23:08Speaker 3: she could defend everything so quickly. And you have to understand,
- 23:11Speaker 3: Tamor like, I've done this before two times, and I'll
- 23:15Speaker 3: do these like big shots and they always work.
- 23:18Speaker 2: This is the first time where it's like it didn't work.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Do you think that you should have went after parvating?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Uh?
- 23:22Speaker 3: I think you know, hindsight, yes, but not in hindsight
- 23:27Speaker 3: you're watched, it'll be like, oh, you should take out poverty.
- 23:29Speaker 3: But for me, to me, that buys me a day
- 23:31Speaker 3: or two. Like to go after Fadra. I'm like, if
- 23:34Speaker 3: I get Faedra the faithful, now think I'm a faithful
- 23:37Speaker 3: because I've been quiet this whole time and I got one,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and then I have a path to the end. I just,
- 23:43Speaker 3: you know, I think what was interesting for me to
- 23:46Speaker 3: see was that, like, and I haven't talked to her
- 23:48Speaker 3: at all. She hasn't talked to me. But I think
- 23:50Speaker 3: Faedra was hurt by me turning on her. And I
- 23:53Speaker 3: don't think I realized how loyal.
- 23:56Speaker 2: She was going to be. I was just scared of
- 23:59Speaker 2: being at the end with her.
- 24:00Speaker 3: And the Bravo click at this fire, she looks and
- 24:03Speaker 3: they're like, Okay, Dan's gone. Because I saw how many
- 24:05Speaker 3: friends she had. I'm like, that's tough to beat in
- 24:07Speaker 3: a game like this, and I think you're seeing it
- 24:09Speaker 3: with Peter right now.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Do you think the gamers underestimate the housewives?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Oh? I a thousand percent, did you know?
- 24:14Speaker 3: I just I think you're so good your day to
- 24:18Speaker 3: day skills on TV are so well suited to make
- 24:22Speaker 3: you successful in the Traders, Like you're used to confrontation,
- 24:25Speaker 3: to sitting people down, to casting doubt on someone, to
- 24:29Speaker 3: defending yourself and you know, I just I was so
- 24:33Speaker 3: impressed with what Faedra did to me at the table.
- 24:36Speaker 3: I'm like, this is you know, I didn't see this
- 24:37Speaker 3: coming and she got me.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Well, there's some headlines, there's been weekly headlines about the show.
- 24:51Speaker 1: It's just been so dang popular. So Buzzfy did an
- 24:54Speaker 1: article with Phaedra set her down. In this article, Fadra
- 24:58Speaker 1: claimed she offered to help you Dan before the roundtable
- 25:03Speaker 1: where you were banished. She stated, I knew the night.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I knew the night he was going to be basically banished,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and I went to him and said, if there's anything
- 25:13Speaker 1: I can do to help you, Dan, I will What
- 25:16Speaker 1: are your plans Dan? He was like, oh, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 1: I'm coming up with something, always very aloof. He's like,
- 25:24Speaker 1: I would never give you up. I would never betray you, Phaedra,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and then he goes off and betrays me. Is that true?
- 25:31Speaker 2: No?
- 25:32Speaker 3: I don't remember that conversational, and I think that's one
- 25:34Speaker 3: of the things that hurt faedrianized relationship in the game
- 25:37Speaker 3: is we never talked because I was, you know, just
- 25:40Speaker 3: like I was paranoid about being around you now and
- 25:41Speaker 3: people lumping us together. I didn't want to be lumped
- 25:44Speaker 3: with Phaedra, and so we really rarely talked in the game,
- 25:47Speaker 3: if at all. And the time we talked was in
- 25:50Speaker 3: the turret and that was really quick. So no, that
- 25:52Speaker 3: didn't that did not happen. What I can say will
- 25:55Speaker 3: happen is we're walking into the roundtable and we hadn't
- 25:59Speaker 3: talked at all, and she turns to me and she
- 26:01Speaker 3: starts singing, I will follow you, meaning like whatever I
- 26:04Speaker 3: throw out there, she's going.
- 26:05Speaker 2: To back me up.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And she's saying it too.
- 26:08Speaker 3: She's saying it because it was like we're walking in
- 26:11Speaker 3: and like we hadn't talked, and she's looking back, and
- 26:13Speaker 3: I'm like, well, like the only way I can get
- 26:15Speaker 3: her is by surprise, and that didn't even matter. But
- 26:18Speaker 3: I think, you know, and I understand, like I think
- 26:20Speaker 3: she's not thrilled with me is probably you know the
- 26:24Speaker 3: kindest way to say.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It, But do you think that how's it going to
- 26:27Speaker 1: go with you guys at the reunion?
- 26:29Speaker 2: You know, I was going to ask you this. I
- 26:30Speaker 2: I've never done a reunion. I know this is like,
- 26:32Speaker 2: you know, you're an expert at well.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I'm not really in the hot seat, so I'm usually
- 26:36Speaker 1: in the hot seat. So I'm just going to enjoy
- 26:38Speaker 1: this reunion. I'm hoping we can have a cocktail, maybe
- 26:40Speaker 1: a hot dog, I don't know, just sit back, some
- 26:43Speaker 1: popcorn and watch you guys go at it.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Can you give me a little advice as someone I
- 26:47Speaker 3: assume I'm probably going to be in the hot seats,
- 26:49Speaker 3: someone who's been in the hot seat before.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah, the housewife advice would be, have your receipts, have
- 26:55Speaker 1: your proof, have your rundown.
- 26:57Speaker 2: You need to have it all.
- 26:58Speaker 1: But you know, just you know, I think it's just
- 27:00Speaker 1: the truth. This is a whole different game. Yeah, it's
- 27:03Speaker 1: a whole different animal. So you're gonna be fine.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. The thing is Tambora.
- 27:08Speaker 3: One of the biggest adjustments for me, or one of
- 27:10Speaker 3: the realizations from this is that, and I want to
- 27:12Speaker 3: ask you this is that I come out of these
- 27:14Speaker 3: games and I'm like, I like, it was just hard
- 27:16Speaker 3: because I liked everyone, Like yeah, Pa, I like bananas.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I liked everyone.
- 27:21Speaker 1: There's nobody who didn't like Oh, and it's.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Like normally when you played Big Brother, you're like, man,
- 27:25Speaker 3: I can't wait to get out of this house and
- 27:26Speaker 3: get away from these people. I liked everyone, so to
- 27:28Speaker 3: me coming off, I was a little surprised that people
- 27:32Speaker 3: were really angry. But also I understand because it's like
- 27:36Speaker 3: you like, you trust someone and they turn your back
- 27:38Speaker 3: before you, Like, do you think that's a Bravo like
- 27:40Speaker 3: gamer thing, like we're used to just going back to
- 27:43Speaker 3: real life and I don't know, figure that out.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Slice a Bitch and go back to life. Speaking of
- 27:50Speaker 1: Slice and a Bitch, Johnny Bananas has gone after you
- 27:53Speaker 1: on social media.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think about that?
- 27:56Speaker 1: I mean, it just it's taking a little too personal,
- 28:01Speaker 1: you know.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I this is what I can say.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I think that for me, I don't take anything personal,
- 28:07Speaker 3: but I think for me to assume the same from
- 28:09Speaker 3: other people, it's probably not fair. People have different motives
- 28:12Speaker 3: and different experiences. So it just I guess it's what
- 28:17Speaker 3: you sign up for when you join a show like this.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah. So another headline was a TV Line article interviewer
- 28:24Speaker 1: sat down with Allan returning player Kate Chastain, executive producer
- 28:28Speaker 1: Sam Reege Jones and Steven Lambert. They asked Rhys Jones
- 28:32Speaker 1: why did producers bring Kate back and so late in
- 28:35Speaker 1: the game. He tells them she didn't play the perfect
- 28:38Speaker 1: game in season one, so it wasn't like bringing back
- 28:41Speaker 1: a mastermind. We want to keep the players always guessing
- 28:45Speaker 1: what's going to happen next. It's a murder mystery at
- 28:48Speaker 1: the end of the day. So we enjoyed Kate arriving
- 28:50Speaker 1: halfway through. Did you like Kate appearing halfway through as
- 28:54Speaker 1: a viewer?
- 28:56Speaker 2: As a player?
- 28:57Speaker 3: I knew her personality type from watching the first season.
- 29:00Speaker 3: I'm like, this is not good because I think she's
- 29:03Speaker 3: really cool as a person. She's great TV. But I
- 29:06Speaker 3: knew how she was gonna be. She was gonna call
- 29:09Speaker 3: things out. There wasn't there's no filter, and if something
- 29:11Speaker 3: seemed a little off, she's not gonna come ask you
- 29:14Speaker 3: about it. She's just gonna blow you up. And so
- 29:16Speaker 3: that kind of personality coming into the game, I'm.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Like, Oh, she's a little comic relief too. She really is.
- 29:22Speaker 1: They also asked the panel if Alan has a say
- 29:25Speaker 1: in selecting the traders, which in short is yes. Reyes
- 29:28Speaker 1: Jones goes on to say, we do a personality test
- 29:32Speaker 1: with everyone before they go in, which gives us a
- 29:35Speaker 1: bit more of an idea of if they could take
- 29:37Speaker 1: it on. Allan chimes in to admit, it's the most
- 29:40Speaker 1: terrifying part of the whole series for me, select because
- 29:44Speaker 1: if I get up hugely by just banging somebody with
- 29:47Speaker 1: my elbow, my heart is pounding. But I do all
- 29:51Speaker 1: these tricks to sort of confuse them. Stop, walk back.
- 29:55Speaker 1: He moves his arms, moves his elbows. I actually heard him.
- 30:00Speaker 1: What I thought was this jacket move to tap you.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I really thought that, because you know he's wearing all
- 30:06Speaker 1: this big old costumes stuff.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And I'm like, thanks for not saying anything.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I know I didn't because you know, then I started
- 30:13Speaker 1: second guessing myself because Lars accused poverty of the same thing.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Like I heard him like, you're a trader. And then
- 30:20Speaker 1: you know how that went. The personality test, the testing
- 30:23Speaker 1: we had to do physically, mentally, go to the doctor,
- 30:26Speaker 1: all the things. It was a lot. At one point,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't have time for this shit, guys.
- 30:31Speaker 3: The thing that surprised me was the swim test when
- 30:33Speaker 3: we were there I've never done anything like that, and
- 30:36Speaker 3: I just you remember, did you do the swim test?
- 30:38Speaker 1: I did the swim test. And I'm telling you something.
- 30:40Speaker 1: After sitting in that damn hotel room for two days,
- 30:43Speaker 1: I was so excited. I really felt like I was
- 30:46Speaker 1: in prison. They're like, okay, we are now picking you
- 30:50Speaker 1: up from your room and we're going to drive you
- 30:52Speaker 1: to like a YMCA. You know, it's the only time
- 30:54Speaker 1: we got out of the hotel in the in two days.
- 30:57Speaker 1: And when I say in the hotel, in our room
- 30:59Speaker 1: with nobody, nobody in British TV, that's it. So they
- 31:03Speaker 1: took us to this room and I'm like, okay, They're like,
- 31:06Speaker 1: here's your clothes. It's like, you really feel like you
- 31:09Speaker 1: were a prisoner.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Would would you ever consider doing Celebrity Big Brother? No,
- 31:15Speaker 3: not even like remotely considered.
- 31:17Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I know.
- 31:19Speaker 1: My friend Teddy, my co host for teasing a pod,
- 31:23Speaker 1: she did it.
- 31:24Speaker 2: She she loves doing experience or well, she.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Got let go pretty quickly, so she didn't have the
- 31:30Speaker 1: full experience. But you know, it was during COVID and
- 31:32Speaker 1: she was literally in She had to be quarantined for
- 31:36Speaker 1: thirty or a week before like just sit in a
- 31:39Speaker 1: hotel room looking out a window, and I'm like, I
- 31:41Speaker 1: would have been gone crazy by that. So poverty is
- 31:47Speaker 1: done with reality TV. She's saying, I don't see another
- 31:51Speaker 1: show like this for me, unless it's Dancing with the
- 31:53Speaker 1: Stars or Drag Race. I don't really want to do
- 31:55Speaker 1: another show where it's manipulating and emotional warfare. It's triggering
- 32:00Speaker 1: me to do that. Oh, but you're so good at it, Parverty.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Parverty's new dream is to host her own show. Well,
- 32:06Speaker 1: that's probably pretty much everybody's. She says, I'd like to
- 32:09Speaker 1: do that. Alan is iconic on The Traders and weaves
- 32:12Speaker 1: himself into the fabric of the show and da da
- 32:14Speaker 1: da da. So do you think that's true. I think
- 32:17Speaker 1: if she gets off for another show, she'll do it.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I mean, I think it would be extremely I would
- 32:21Speaker 3: place the large bet there's Survivor's fifties coming in a
- 32:25Speaker 3: couple of years or whatever.
- 32:26Speaker 2: It's going to be a massive survivor.
- 32:28Speaker 3: If they run that show and she's not on it,
- 32:30Speaker 3: people are going to be up in arms.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I think they will entice her enough. But I get it.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I mean, we had a chance to spend a lot
- 32:36Speaker 3: of time with poverty. We're in the same car, and
- 32:39Speaker 3: it's hard to go from like and it's I think
- 32:41Speaker 3: it's even harder for her to go from like.
- 32:42Speaker 2: A villain because she was a villain on Survivor. She
- 32:45Speaker 2: destroyed people.
- 32:47Speaker 3: And the social media backlash I think that she got
- 32:50Speaker 3: you know, took a somewhat of her Yeah, and now
- 32:52Speaker 3: she's like, you know, evolved, She's not that person and
- 32:56Speaker 3: never I mean it's like, we play these characters on
- 32:58Speaker 3: TV and we're not those people.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But that you know, sometimes I.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Believe the audience doesn't they don't care, and I know
- 33:04Speaker 1: that for like you, it's been over ten years since
- 33:07Speaker 1: you're on TV, and social media is so different and
- 33:10Speaker 1: play such a big role on your emotional state.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Like literally, I will say this. So Big Brother has
- 33:16Speaker 2: live feeds you can watch all the time.
- 33:18Speaker 3: The fans are very passionate, nothing compared to Bravo fans
- 33:23Speaker 3: like what I've experienced, and I could take it off
- 33:25Speaker 3: the grain of salt. It doesn't bother me. But there
- 33:27Speaker 3: are some passionate Bravo fans. I understand now why there's
- 33:31Speaker 3: a Bravo con why it's huge.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I mean, I get it, Like Bravo.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Fans can be crazy.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Well, here's my take on this is that normally, for
- 33:39Speaker 3: someone like you to Tama on your show, there's like, okay,
- 33:43Speaker 3: Housewive against Housewive.
- 33:44Speaker 2: If you're a Bravo fan, you pick aside. Well, guess what.
- 33:46Speaker 2: The Traders united all those people to go at someone else,
- 33:51Speaker 2: and it's like, for once, they're all on the same
- 33:53Speaker 2: side going after one person. And I get it.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I mean, it's like rooting for your favorite sports team.
- 33:57Speaker 3: It's like, we want Team Bravo to win. You know,
- 33:59Speaker 3: I guess I don't take any of it personal, but.
- 34:01Speaker 1: It Robo doesn't care how shittyest Housewives played. They just
- 34:04Speaker 1: want a housewife to win, that's for sure. So let's
- 34:06Speaker 1: get into the actual episode now. So Phaedra asked Kate
- 34:09Speaker 1: to join her as a trader, but if she declines,
- 34:13Speaker 1: she'll be murdered. Kate accepts. She knows she wasn't really
- 34:17Speaker 1: given a choice, but she thinks she could. This could
- 34:19Speaker 1: be fun. Kate is surprised and disappointed that Faedra is
- 34:23Speaker 1: the only trader left. When Fadra's asked what's the strategy,
- 34:27Speaker 1: Kate is frustrated she doesn't already have a plan. So
- 34:30Speaker 1: that's me earlier saying like I feel like Fadri's just
- 34:34Speaker 1: playing a character. I don't think she's really playing as
- 34:38Speaker 1: a gamer.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and to her credit's working, but that that's working.
- 34:41Speaker 3: That's how I felt in the trader churt with her.
- 34:43Speaker 3: I'd have like ideas and I'd throw them out there,
- 34:45Speaker 3: be like who do you want? What do you think?
- 34:47Speaker 3: And it was just kind of deflected back to me.
- 34:48Speaker 3: And maybe it's a great strategy because in her hands,
- 34:51Speaker 3: you know, she never has blood on her hands.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But also it's like, well, I would probably play that
- 34:55Speaker 1: way too, because I don't I don't strategize and you know,
- 34:59Speaker 1: do that, do this? And if I do that, that's
- 35:01Speaker 1: going to happen. Like I mean in Housewife, w Old,
- 35:04Speaker 1: I can do that, but in gaming world, like you
- 35:06Speaker 1: really have to think like ten steps ahead.
- 35:09Speaker 3: See I think, but see, I think if you were
- 35:10Speaker 3: there for the second half of the game, I feel
- 35:12Speaker 3: like the first half of the game is just thinning
- 35:15Speaker 3: people out right. There's so many people there, it doesn't matter.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I think if you're in the second half game, I
- 35:19Speaker 3: think you do very well because you're in tune to everyone.
- 35:22Speaker 3: And I think that stuff is like for you second nature.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I really do. I think you would have been great
- 35:26Speaker 2: at it.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Phedra threw you a little shade in this episode. She
- 35:30Speaker 1: said Dan was like drinking dry milk with toasts, no better,
- 35:33Speaker 1: no jam Kate said she had a weird vibe from
- 35:37Speaker 1: you as well. Do you care to respond to that?
- 35:40Speaker 3: You know, I don't take any of it personal. I
- 35:42Speaker 3: just I take it as Phaedra and I've never talked
- 35:45Speaker 3: to her. I feel like she's was hurt by what
- 35:47Speaker 3: I did, and I can understand why she's.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Probably I was hurt by what she did.
- 35:53Speaker 3: So and because we never talked about when, like when
- 35:57Speaker 3: did you figure out it wasn't me? And then I
- 35:59Speaker 3: got a phone calls from like a San Francisco number.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know a name from San Francisco,
- 36:03Speaker 3: so I didn't answer it.
- 36:04Speaker 2: What if you answer that call? What would have I was.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Literally in San Francisco doing a live show with my
- 36:10Speaker 1: podcast with Teddy, and the show's airing. It's a Thursday night,
- 36:16Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, my phone is blowing up
- 36:19Speaker 1: and it's basically, Phaedra is the one that murdered you.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And I went prior to that where you just like, oh,
- 36:25Speaker 2: screw Dan. You know, I'm mad at him, doad.
- 36:27Speaker 1: I was just gonna deal with you at the reunion,
- 36:30Speaker 1: and so then I don't really have anything to deal with,
- 36:32Speaker 1: you know, And I thought, oh my god, so he
- 36:34Speaker 1: wasn't lying, he wasn't like, because you really sucked me in.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Like I really thought, like, God, this guy's so nice.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And he talks about his wife and we talk about
- 36:41Speaker 1: our relationships and kids and really got to know each
- 36:44Speaker 1: other on a personal level. And then I'm like, and
- 36:46Speaker 1: then is that his strat? And everyone's like, that's his strategy.
- 36:49Speaker 1: That's what he does. He gets to know you, and
- 36:51Speaker 1: then you know, he gets rid of you. I'm like, oh, wow,
- 36:54Speaker 1: well I was fooled.
- 36:56Speaker 3: No, well that's like but that's like, that's whoy I
- 36:58Speaker 3: am genuinely, But in these games, it's like our next conversation,
- 37:01Speaker 3: once we're to that comfort level is then we start
- 37:04Speaker 3: talking strategy. But yeah, I only had time to get
- 37:07Speaker 3: to know people. I didn't get the second part.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Wait, So if I would have picked up the call,
- 37:12Speaker 2: what would you have said?
- 37:13Speaker 1: I would have I said, oh my god, I'm so sorry, Dan,
- 37:15Speaker 1: I was just found out that you know it wasn't you.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I feel horrible, like I was ready to go on
- 37:20Speaker 1: stage when I called you.
- 37:22Speaker 3: I appreciate it because that was like when I DM
- 37:23Speaker 3: you and like you kind of ghosted me. Slash told me,
- 37:26Speaker 3: not like you didn't tell me not to talk. But
- 37:28Speaker 3: that's a vibe I got.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, man, good ghosting, really good. So the
- 37:33Speaker 1: players arrived to breakfast. Kate, Sandra, and CT are all
- 37:36Speaker 1: questioning Peter's credibility. Peter is shocked to still be alive
- 37:40Speaker 1: and is hoping to see Trichelle and Kevin. MJ asked
- 37:43Speaker 1: Kate if she's okay. She doesn't seem like she's all there.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Kate is worried people are already suspecting she's a trader.
- 37:51Speaker 1: She's still processing her shift from faithful to trader. The
- 37:55Speaker 1: last two arrived as Trischelle Kevin was murdered. Alan said, oh,
- 38:00Speaker 1: Kevin up in heaven and throws his thing down. I
- 38:06Speaker 1: am impressed with MJ knowing something was off with Kate
- 38:09Speaker 1: right away, and we talked about this earlier that, I mean,
- 38:12Speaker 1: her radar was there.
- 38:14Speaker 3: There's moments where like MJ, what are you doing? And
- 38:16Speaker 3: then there's like MJ how did you do? Like, how
- 38:18Speaker 3: did you figure this out?
- 38:19Speaker 2: And I think she's an enigma to watch.
- 38:21Speaker 1: She is she this episode? I was all into MJ.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Did you know MJ at all prior to this.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Or yeah, a little bit, not not super well, but
- 38:30Speaker 1: I did. In fact, I had run into her right
- 38:33Speaker 1: before we were to go to Scotland.
- 38:36Speaker 2: I did.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I was at Serious Radio doing Jeff Lewis and she
- 38:39Speaker 1: was there.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Did you guys like, wink wink, nudge nudge, are you
- 38:42Speaker 3: going to Scotland?
- 38:43Speaker 2: Or you didn't even you had no clue.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Well, this is the thing. I had talked to Jeff
- 38:47Speaker 1: Lewis off camera. I'm really good friends and I know
- 38:49Speaker 1: I wasn't supposed to do this, but I'm like, hey,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I got asked to do Traders. He goes, so did I.
- 38:54Speaker 1: And I don't know if you know who Jeff Lewis is,
- 38:55Speaker 1: but the radio guy he is radio now but he
- 38:58Speaker 1: did the show Flipping Out, who was on Bravo Interior
- 39:01Speaker 1: decorating all that. He's got another show now on Amazon.
- 39:04Speaker 1: But he goes, I had to turn down. He's a
- 39:06Speaker 1: single dad. So he's like, I can't leave Monroe, and
- 39:11Speaker 1: I said, oh, bummer he's all, but MJ's doing it,
- 39:15Speaker 1: and I'm like, I go, well, I don't know her
- 39:17Speaker 1: that well, and I don't know that I should talk
- 39:19Speaker 1: to her about this. He goes, I'll tell her. The
- 39:21Speaker 1: next thing I know, m Jay was texting me, so
- 39:23Speaker 1: kinda knew she was going so Phaedra's goal is to
- 39:26Speaker 1: break apart the Peter alliance. Once they get rid of him,
- 39:30Speaker 1: the rest of them will scatter. CT tells Trichelle it's
- 39:34Speaker 1: time to consider Peter could be a trader. Trichelle tells
- 39:39Speaker 1: John they are outnumbered at the roundtable tonight. Peter says
- 39:42Speaker 1: they need to convince Sandra and CT to vote their side.
- 39:47Speaker 1: CT tells Peter he's leaning towards him to vote out.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I loved his honesty when he said, who are you thinking?
- 39:53Speaker 1: He's like you, brother, you you're the one that's going tonight.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Do you think Peter messed up his game last week
- 39:59Speaker 1: by trying to protect poverty.
- 40:02Speaker 3: I think the strategy of it. I really like the strategy.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I just think in this game, if you give anyone
- 40:08Speaker 3: a reason to like doubt you, that's it's like the
- 40:11Speaker 3: kiss of death. And I feel like some people didn't
- 40:14Speaker 3: understand what he was doing or didn't agree with it,
- 40:17Speaker 3: and that was enough. And but you know, I got
- 40:19Speaker 3: to give Fader credit. She's right, like, if you take
- 40:21Speaker 3: him out, there's no one to unify that group anymore.
- 40:25Speaker 3: And then they just pick him off one by one,
- 40:27Speaker 3: you know, the Bravo people.
- 40:28Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean Peter was right. He was absolutely right.
- 40:32Speaker 1: And he put his life out on the line there
- 40:35Speaker 1: trying to explain to everybody that he knew that Phaedra
- 40:39Speaker 1: was a trader, he knew that Privaty was a trader,
- 40:42Speaker 1: and he knew that he was going to probably get murdered,
- 40:46Speaker 1: but he was willing to take that chance.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I felt like he did a really good job explaining
- 40:50Speaker 3: exactly what he had done, and you know the history
- 40:54Speaker 3: of his behavior.
- 40:55Speaker 2: I think what really hurt once again is Kate. Like
- 40:58Speaker 2: Kate is always in there like throwing a bar of
- 41:00Speaker 2: doubt and yes, and.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It's like and Peter when he explains things, and he's
- 41:04Speaker 1: very convincing, very convinced. He is sharp. I mean, anybody
- 41:08Speaker 1: that's flying around hundreds of people in the air and
- 41:11Speaker 1: protecting their life and getting there safe, he's my type
- 41:14Speaker 1: of guy.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I'm a big Peter Fan and I think
- 41:17Speaker 3: you know it probably you know it's not just Peter,
- 41:19Speaker 3: It's it's Kate.
- 41:20Speaker 2: And you know, I think Kate being.
- 41:23Speaker 3: There really shook everything up, because she can take a
- 41:26Speaker 3: really well logical statement and just kind of throw something
- 41:29Speaker 3: kind of funny or you know, a little distracting, then
- 41:32Speaker 3: all of a sudden dismisses his whole argument.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I really liked today's mission. I thought it was fun.
- 41:46Speaker 1: You didn't have to get wet or dirty or full
- 41:48Speaker 1: of bugs. So each player has a stained glass window
- 41:51Speaker 1: with their name on it. Players will use a crossbow
- 41:54Speaker 1: to shatter the names until one is remaining. The name
- 41:57Speaker 1: remaining intact will earn a shield. The players stared off
- 42:01Speaker 1: with twenty five thousand, but every time they missed the target,
- 42:03Speaker 1: they lose two hundred and fifty dollars. So Phadra says
- 42:06Speaker 1: she's going to aim for John's name because he doesn't
- 42:09Speaker 1: need protection. At first, I'm like, why are you name me? Why? John?
- 42:13Speaker 1: And then I got it. She misses, and everyone keeps
- 42:15Speaker 1: missing and missing and missing until CT aims for Kate
- 42:19Speaker 1: and hits her. We're right between the eyeballs. Kate aims
- 42:23Speaker 1: for CT and missus Sandra and Chrey aimed for John
- 42:26Speaker 1: but he doesn't need protection, but they missed. John says
- 42:29Speaker 1: this is starting to feel a little personal. The players
- 42:34Speaker 1: repeatedly go for ct but end up losing two thousand
- 42:37Speaker 1: aiming at his name. Phadri changes the strategy around and
- 42:41Speaker 1: aiming for Trischelle instead. I don't think there was any
- 42:45Speaker 1: strategy in that. I think she just thought that Trischelle
- 42:49Speaker 1: was down at the bottom and they've had better luck
- 42:52Speaker 1: on the bottom row. But then it backfired in her
- 42:55Speaker 1: face because everybody thought it was like this big strategy.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Well, here's why I like this check just because really
- 43:01Speaker 3: there's a very few moments where there's actual actions in
- 43:04Speaker 3: the game. A lot of it is, oh, you're too quiet,
- 43:07Speaker 3: or you know you're a housewife or whatever, Like.
- 43:09Speaker 2: It's just all speculation.
- 43:10Speaker 3: This is like someone making a physical move that you
- 43:13Speaker 3: can use to either help a case or hurt your case,
- 43:16Speaker 3: or expose that you're a trader. And I think this
- 43:18Speaker 3: is the first time, my opinion, we see Phadra slip up,
- 43:21Speaker 3: because I think up until this point she's been like
- 43:23Speaker 3: ironclad nor and uh, you know, just it's just weird.
- 43:28Speaker 3: If everyone wants to do one thing, and you do
- 43:30Speaker 3: the opposite. That's enough in this game. And I think
- 43:33Speaker 3: this is, you know, the first time. But I like
- 43:35Speaker 3: this challenge because it puts people exposed and they have
- 43:37Speaker 3: to say, hey, I'm going after you for whatever reason.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Good, this is why I'm going after you. Totally dead
- 43:43Speaker 1: at Charret's face when I mean between the last two
- 43:46Speaker 1: episodes between having bugs you know, dumped on her and
- 43:49Speaker 1: her jumping around list dreaming that was funny, and now
- 43:53Speaker 1: her face when everybody starts going after her like why me, Yeah, well.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Ray is so chill, and then to see her like
- 44:00Speaker 2: scream like bloody murder. I'm I know.
- 44:05Speaker 1: She's very quiet, very very quiet. Peter thinks he'll be
- 44:08Speaker 1: put up for banishment tonight. John thinks Sandra and MJ
- 44:11Speaker 1: could be persuaded to vote with their group. Peter separates
- 44:14Speaker 1: Phaedra from her group, while while Trischelle convinces the clique
- 44:19Speaker 1: to vote for against her. Mischelle says the fact that
- 44:22Speaker 1: Phaedri shifted the bow to her name was a traitor behavior.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Trichelle argues they are having blind loyalty to Fedra. MJ
- 44:31Speaker 1: says that's not true and promises she'll keep an open mind.
- 44:35Speaker 1: At the roundtable, Cet changes his mind, thinking Phaedra and
- 44:39Speaker 1: Sandra purposely wanted Trichelle out. Do you think that's true?
- 44:44Speaker 3: I think I don't know if if Pedra meant for
- 44:48Speaker 3: that to happen, but that's what it gave the appearance of.
- 44:51Speaker 3: And in this game and the appearances everything. You know,
- 44:53Speaker 3: it doesn't matter what your intentions are. It's like, this
- 44:56Speaker 3: is what happened, this is what people see it as,
- 44:58Speaker 3: and you're done.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I really don't think that she, like I said earlier,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I don't think it was a strategy. I think it
- 45:04Speaker 1: was just like I think that one's going to be
- 45:05Speaker 1: a little bit easier than going up. That's all I think.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Because I could see on Page's face like because kind
- 45:12Speaker 1: of goes back.
- 45:12Speaker 2: To what you said about my game.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Yeah, when Kate says what's the plan, She's like, I
- 45:16Speaker 3: don't have a plan, And like I think this said
- 45:18Speaker 3: I would agree.
- 45:18Speaker 1: With you, Like, you know that you would have a plan.
- 45:20Speaker 1: You know that Peter would have a plan, You know
- 45:22Speaker 1: that Cet would have a plan. As housewives are like, well,
- 45:24Speaker 1: huh plan, My plan is to you know, win this money.
- 45:28Speaker 2: That's it.
- 45:28Speaker 1: That's my plan. So the players sit at the round table.
- 45:33Speaker 1: John is first to talk. I love his speeches, saying
- 45:36Speaker 1: he believes Phaeder is a trader because both Dan and
- 45:38Speaker 1: parready named her as a trader and her approach is
- 45:43Speaker 1: to avoid error. John says if he attempts tonight, his
- 45:47Speaker 1: attempt at is unsuccessful, he would be he won't be
- 45:51Speaker 1: here tomorrow. Fadri says this is not Parliament and he
- 45:54Speaker 1: can bring it down a notch. She always knows what
- 45:57Speaker 1: to say. Fadri says his ally, Peter, was the one
- 46:02Speaker 1: working with the traders. Faedri tells everyone that Peter now
- 46:06Speaker 1: wants to work with her, but he says that's not true.
- 46:09Speaker 1: If Phedra back off, lady, I never said.
- 46:12Speaker 3: That, and that's not true, right, that's completely false because
- 46:14Speaker 3: I don't remember ever seeing that on the show.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I didn't see it on the show. But he's Peter
- 46:20Speaker 1: said it wasn't true. Phaeder puts it bluntly, this is
- 46:23Speaker 1: not that. This is not the batcher, and she doesn't
- 46:26Speaker 1: have to kiss his ass for a rose. Peter's angry.
- 46:30Speaker 1: All he's done in this game is to fight to
- 46:32Speaker 1: get the traders out. Peter says he denied Fadri's letter
- 46:35Speaker 1: and she didn't like that. Now, when he said that,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I'm surprised everyone didn't go, oh my god, that's right,
- 46:41Speaker 1: like no, no, no, no. But CT and Faeder have
- 46:45Speaker 1: a special friendship, so I'm curious if Phaeder felt some
- 46:48Speaker 1: type of way when CT voted for her.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it'll be interesting to see how that
- 46:55Speaker 3: dynamic plays out.
- 46:56Speaker 2: But I feel like this roundtable this was it.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Pedro had a point with John because his round table
- 47:02Speaker 1: speeches went on forever. They shortened them.
- 47:07Speaker 3: I mean, not shortened them by a little We're talking
- 47:09Speaker 3: like ten twelve minute da tribes down to like and.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Like thirty seconds.
- 47:14Speaker 3: I feel like and I feel like we knew that
- 47:16Speaker 3: watching this because when they showed like Chara, like it
- 47:19Speaker 3: looked like they were kind of like, all right, like
- 47:22Speaker 3: I'm rolling my eyes, like enough.
- 47:24Speaker 2: But you're going to take a little bit of John.
- 47:26Speaker 2: But they probably got fifteen to twenty minutes of John
- 47:28Speaker 2: on that one snippet.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's timed about four votes for Peter,
- 47:33Speaker 1: four votes for Phaedra. The last vote is MJ's I
- 47:38Speaker 1: had chills, chills, and I'm like, oh my god, oh
- 47:43Speaker 1: my god, and I had no idea. It could have
- 47:45Speaker 1: went either way.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be interesting.
- 47:48Speaker 3: It'll be interest to see how it plays out, because
- 47:49Speaker 3: this vote will determine, you know, how the game ends.
- 47:53Speaker 3: It's like they're either gonna get a trader or they're not.
- 47:56Speaker 3: And the traders have a really nice looking path to
- 47:58Speaker 3: the end.
- 47:59Speaker 1: But if they don't, I don't get a trader. They
- 48:02Speaker 1: know who the trader is after this.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Why do you say that, Well, because.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You know he's been saying Faedra, Phaedria, Phaedra. So I
- 48:10Speaker 1: just think if Peter's gone, everybody's going to be like,
- 48:14Speaker 1: he's a faithful Oh my god, He's right, it's Phaedra.
- 48:18Speaker 1: And then she's gonna be gone.
- 48:20Speaker 2: But let me, I said, let's say Peter is the
- 48:22Speaker 2: one who's banished. Do you think the Bravo people will
- 48:26Speaker 2: turn on Fadra because up and in this point there's
- 48:29Speaker 2: been no glimpse of anyone.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I do.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Do you think it'll be the first to turn or
- 48:33Speaker 2: vote against I think MJ.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I think MJ's onto it. I think share well, Yeah,
- 48:39Speaker 1: I do, I do, because Peter had such compelling argument
- 48:44Speaker 1: against her, and because he lost there his credibility by
- 48:49Speaker 1: switching last minute last episode. I think that they're going
- 48:53Speaker 1: to be like, oh my god, he was right. So
- 48:55Speaker 1: I feel like both of them are doomed, even in
- 48:57Speaker 1: the next two episodes.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll be interesting to see, but I just know
- 49:01Speaker 3: that through my experience, like you can dodge like one
- 49:04Speaker 3: bullet at a round table and survive your dodge too.
- 49:08Speaker 2: But man, it's tough.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Well, Charat had said to me, like I think on
- 49:13Speaker 1: the on an interview or something we're doing press, like
- 49:16Speaker 1: I know the real Pedra. I know what she's capable of,
- 49:20Speaker 1: So she knows. She absolutely knows.
- 49:22Speaker 2: I wish I wish she would have spoke up more
- 49:24Speaker 2: throughout the game.
- 49:25Speaker 1: You know, she was pretty, she was quiet.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Yeah, she was the best part. She was super quiet.
- 49:28Speaker 3: But I felt like she was very trustworthy, you know,
- 49:31Speaker 3: like I didn't feel like she was like dropping misdirections
- 49:34Speaker 3: or lies. I felt like when I talked to Charay
- 49:36Speaker 3: like whatever was said and I felt like stayed with Chara.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well that was it. Dan, I thank you so
- 49:42Speaker 1: much for coming on. I mean, it took us quite
- 49:44Speaker 1: a few months to reconnect, but I'm looking forward to
- 49:48Speaker 1: seeing you. Are you too at the reunion now? I've
- 49:51Speaker 1: got to ask you, are you are you dressing the part?
- 49:53Speaker 1: Are you going to have some plaid suit on?
- 49:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:57Speaker 3: You know what, I've taken like a note for you,
- 50:00Speaker 3: like just spending time around you. I'm like, okay, it
- 50:02Speaker 3: elevates my game. You know, I'm pretty casual in real life,
- 50:05Speaker 3: but I know, hey, look Tamra's coming, She's going to
- 50:07Speaker 3: be decked out.
- 50:08Speaker 1: You're pretty, You're pretty sharp on the show, like your outfits.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I remember walking out of the hotel our very first
- 50:14Speaker 1: day and we were put in the same car, and
- 50:17Speaker 1: I didn't know who you were, but you looked almost pretty,
- 50:21Speaker 1: almost pretty like for a guy. You look pretty like
- 50:23Speaker 1: you were so put together, not a hair out of place,
- 50:26Speaker 1: skin look amazing, perfect suits. You were just suited up,
- 50:29Speaker 1: And I'm like, is he a newscaster?
- 50:32Speaker 3: Who is this guy camera? Like in my real life,
- 50:35Speaker 3: I wear the same thing every day. This is like
- 50:37Speaker 3: such a like out wear, like a hoodie. Yeah, it's
- 50:39Speaker 3: like and that's why, like I really feel like and it.
- 50:42Speaker 3: People will never know I really connected with you because
- 50:44Speaker 3: I think I know you're not from the Midwest, but
- 50:46Speaker 3: I felt like if you were dropped on in like
- 50:49Speaker 3: the real house I was a Michigan from Michigan, people like, oh,
- 50:51Speaker 3: yeah she belongs.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Oh I could totally rock that.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:54Speaker 3: I mean just I just felt like we connected really well.
- 50:57Speaker 3: But we also spent a lot of time together. I
- 50:58Speaker 3: really outside of the game and everything. I really enjoyed
- 51:02Speaker 3: getting to know you, even outside the game. I know
- 51:04Speaker 3: you're like, oh, it's part of this game. That wasn't
- 51:06Speaker 3: It was just I really I felt it.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Was very authentic. And that's why I was so mad,
- 51:11Speaker 1: because I felt like, you know, if it was anybody else,
- 51:13Speaker 1: I'd be like whatever, whatever, But it was you. I
- 51:15Speaker 1: feel like we really connected, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 51:18Speaker 1: I was duped.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Well that's why I was like, why is she ghosted me?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Like, you know, but did you not put two in
- 51:23Speaker 1: two together? Did you not think like our conversation we
- 51:25Speaker 1: had that night before where I'm like, will you like
- 51:28Speaker 1: can we align? Well?
- 51:30Speaker 2: I was fired up when we had that conversation. I'm like, okay, like.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Now like we're gonna mess shit up.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we got a shot.
- 51:36Speaker 3: And then when you know, everything went down the turn,
- 51:38Speaker 3: I'm like, man, like, this is not what I want.
- 51:41Speaker 1: But did you ever stick up for me?
- 51:43Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing.
- 51:43Speaker 3: They're fighting, and I'm like, I got to get them
- 51:45Speaker 3: to like get on the same page. And I'm just like,
- 51:48Speaker 3: I that's one that's honestly, it's one of my big
- 51:51Speaker 3: mistakes is letting them, you know, take you out, because
- 51:54Speaker 3: I just felt like.
- 51:55Speaker 1: That's all right. I was ready to go home.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Walking away from this. Are you are you glad you
- 52:00Speaker 3: did it? And what's you are like takeaway from at.
- 52:03Speaker 1: The time, you know what? I wasn't glad I was
- 52:05Speaker 1: doing it. I had hyped myself up so bad to
- 52:08Speaker 1: do the show. I almost pulled out like ten times.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Why I was nervous. I think most of all just
- 52:14Speaker 1: being away from my family for so long. It's that
- 52:17Speaker 1: to me was pretty much a deal breaker. And then
- 52:20Speaker 1: I had people in my ear going this game is huge,
- 52:24Speaker 1: this show is huge. People are going to see you
- 52:27Speaker 1: on a different platform, They're going to see you in
- 52:29Speaker 1: a different you know that, gonna see you arguing and
- 52:31Speaker 1: yelling with housewives like this is good for your career
- 52:34Speaker 1: on TV and all this stuff. And so I went,
- 52:37Speaker 1: but I was super hesitant about going. And I think
- 52:40Speaker 1: that I made myself sick. I really do. I made
- 52:43Speaker 1: myself sick. Then when I got there, you know, I
- 52:45Speaker 1: had to travel like my husband's always with me, like
- 52:48Speaker 1: a travel It was like a twenty four hour travel
- 52:51Speaker 1: day and getting through the London airport and all that,
- 52:55Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh my god, I don't know where
- 52:57Speaker 1: I'm going. This place is huge. Where's my husband? Like,
- 53:00Speaker 1: I just I don't know. I just psyched myself up.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I got like a cold, but because I had run
- 53:05Speaker 1: I think I was still run down. Yeah, just by
- 53:07Speaker 1: being nervous, I got you know, I got something in
- 53:11Speaker 1: the air. And then you know what really screwed me
- 53:13Speaker 1: up was the antabotics that gave me really yeah, so
- 53:16Speaker 1: that when I went on those antibotics, the medic gave
- 53:18Speaker 1: it to me, and then another doctor said, I would
- 53:20Speaker 1: have never put you on those antibotics. They put inflammation
- 53:26Speaker 1: of my intestine. And then when I got home, I
- 53:28Speaker 1: ended up in the hospital. So it was just a nightmare.
- 53:32Speaker 1: But you know what, now that I know what it's
- 53:35Speaker 1: all about, when I do it again, probably because that
- 53:38Speaker 1: wouldn't be so scared.
- 53:39Speaker 2: I feel like you were like literally just on the
- 53:42Speaker 2: other side I was.
- 53:44Speaker 1: That's why I still pissed off.
- 53:45Speaker 2: I'm like, I feel good, your skill set, your personality,
- 53:49Speaker 2: Like do you just get through that first like wave
- 53:52Speaker 2: of just clearing people out. I think you would do
- 53:54Speaker 2: extremely well. I think you would probably be a really
- 53:57Speaker 2: great trader too. But that's just.
- 54:00Speaker 1: So my whole philosophy and trying to buddy up to
- 54:04Speaker 1: you that night is because I had suspicion you or
- 54:07Speaker 1: a trader, and I thought, well, if anything, he might
- 54:10Speaker 1: recruit me if you know, people get dropped out, and
- 54:14Speaker 1: that was my like, I wanted to be a trader
- 54:16Speaker 1: so bad at that point. I'm like, he's going to
- 54:18Speaker 1: recruit me. If I just be his eyes and ears
- 54:20Speaker 1: and rat people out, he'll get rid of them. And
- 54:23Speaker 1: then when some trader gets killed to he'll he'll pull
- 54:26Speaker 1: me in.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Well that's the thing.
- 54:27Speaker 3: It's like, you got to have friends in the game,
- 54:29Speaker 3: and so like, to me, it's like that's definitely a
- 54:31Speaker 3: conversation that I'm thinking about down the road, you know,
- 54:34Speaker 3: cause I'm thinking, Okay, if X, Y and Z happens,
- 54:36Speaker 3: it's you know, but you're someone I trusted, So like,
- 54:40Speaker 3: that's to me, that's the game is who do you trust.
- 54:42Speaker 2: And how do you bring them in the fold and
- 54:44Speaker 2: find a.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Way So It was so nice talking to you. It
- 54:47Speaker 1: took me right back to the castle, your sweet self.
- 54:51Speaker 1: But I can't wait to see you.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I see you soon.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:55Speaker 2: My wife's coming too, and so you know she's excited.
- 54:58Speaker 1: You go, you're going to obvious, So you have to travel.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I have to drive up the day of. And then
- 55:03Speaker 1: I was kind of hoping like afterwards we can all
- 55:06Speaker 1: go out.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 55:08Speaker 1: That'll be fun and my husband will come up.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Oh we missed Yeah in New York. I'm like, what
- 55:11Speaker 2: the heck, I'm there. I'm like, where's Tammer? Where I was?
- 55:14Speaker 1: I was on the call list for the entire time.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And then productions like, we can't lose you right now.
- 55:18Speaker 1: It's too much is going on the show?
- 55:19Speaker 2: They film you like doing.
- 55:21Speaker 1: The That's what I was hoping.
- 55:22Speaker 2: I was too much logistics.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well, thank you so much, John, and I will
- 55:27Speaker 1: see you like in a week or so.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Thanks for having me.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Okay, bye,
