- 2:11Speaker 1: I ask one time and if you don't respond, it's
- 2:14Speaker 1: like okay, we're good. Or if you're like I can't
- 2:16Speaker 1: do it.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, are you retreat?
- 2:18Speaker 1: I retreat? I like take it a little personally. Where
- 2:21Speaker 1: Randall doesn't give up.
- 2:23Speaker 2: No, I have no shame in my game. When it
- 2:24Speaker 2: comes to ask getting guests on this show. It's like
- 2:27Speaker 2: producing a movie. You just go for it and you
- 2:29Speaker 2: just keep going for it until they Basically.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That's how he got me. I told him no a
- 2:33Speaker 1: hundred times and he was just persistent. And now I'm
- 2:37Speaker 1: marrying the guy.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Okay, thanks for thatot, I know, I know, Honny.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So that's the first surprise, and and and that is
- 2:49Speaker 2: very special to have Lisa on the show.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So I don't want to take care away for that.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But now, Laala, you're gonna tell everybody what the surprise
- 2:57Speaker 2: that you're going to surprise Lisa with.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Oh I'm like shaking right now because I can't believe
- 3:03Speaker 1: that it's a real life thing. I'm really emotional.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I know it's okay.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Let me gather myself.
- 3:12Speaker 2: By the way, so everybody knows that they're not watching
- 3:14Speaker 2: this podcast or any snippets of it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Laala has tears flowing.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Over her eyes. I just like I cry about everything,
- 3:20Speaker 1: but today it's very much happy tears. By the way.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Today is my thirtieth birthday and I can't think of
- 3:26Speaker 1: any other way to celebrate. Celebrate then with you guys
- 3:31Speaker 1: coming through your headphones with speakers. And for my thirtieth birthday,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I had the best gift given to me. My body
- 3:41Speaker 1: also helped out too. I am pregnant.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Lala can't a soon to be mother.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I am, and I'm like so excited. I feel very
- 3:56Speaker 1: maternal and motherly. And it's just I feel it's very
- 4:03Speaker 1: interesting and I'm gonna try not to ball my eyes out.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I cry about everything, by the way, Tim, Like I
- 4:07Speaker 1: look in the refrigerator and it could be empty or full,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and I'm like happy or sad about it.
- 4:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I just it's like life is really hitting me in
- 4:18Speaker 1: the face, all right. It's like, holy shit, I'm turning thirty.
- 4:22Speaker 1: There's something living inside of me growing, which is in itself,
- 4:26Speaker 1: Like what is this alien thing happening? And my life
- 4:31Speaker 1: is changing very quickly and I can't. I don't love change,
- 4:36Speaker 1: even though it's all great things. It's like, well, wait
- 4:39Speaker 1: a minute, I'm a kid still. How am I having
- 4:41Speaker 1: a kid?
- 4:42Speaker 3: A kid?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Having a kid?
- 4:44Speaker 3: You never get rested to it.
- 4:45Speaker 5: By the way, and first of all, congratulations, yes's amazing.
- 4:48Speaker 2: By the way, Wow, Tim, you're so good at listening
- 4:51Speaker 2: and then responding.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I stuck at it, and I want to.
- 4:53Speaker 2: By the way, I want to tell all the fans,
- 4:55Speaker 2: I have been training myself for the last two weeks
- 4:58Speaker 2: to listen and then respond, so I encourage all of
- 5:01Speaker 2: you to tune in and let me know if I
- 5:04Speaker 2: am listening and then responding, because that is not something
- 5:07Speaker 2: I do in my regular life.
- 5:08Speaker 3: So Tim could carry forward, my friend.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Okay, I will be your listening sense.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yes, I love it.
- 5:17Speaker 5: So now I'm listening again.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I'm waiting for you guys.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Okay, I want to say I want to I want
- 5:22Speaker 2: to say something, so Lala, so I'm want to tell
- 5:24Speaker 2: you guys something. So we just you know, recently found out.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Obviously we you know, it was very early and we
- 5:29Speaker 2: weren't sure of, you know, what was going to happen.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And Lala has been keeping me posted daily because I
- 5:37Speaker 2: guess there are charts on the internet where it says
- 5:40Speaker 2: the evolution of your child. Now I didn't really ever
- 5:44Speaker 2: know about these charts that did this. So she called
- 5:47Speaker 2: me up. I think after the first couple days. Then
- 5:49Speaker 2: she said, we have a baby squid in my stomach.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I was like, it looks exactly like a shrimp. The
- 5:54Speaker 1: shrimp is so damn cute.
- 5:56Speaker 2: She called it a shrimp and then it went to
- 5:58Speaker 2: a squid and it's moving forward, and when does can
- 6:01Speaker 2: I ask a question because obviously you know how excited
- 6:03Speaker 2: and I we talk hourly about this. When does it
- 6:06Speaker 2: When do you stop calling it a shrimp, a squid
- 6:08Speaker 2: and fish type names?
- 6:10Speaker 3: When does it go to a well?
- 6:12Speaker 1: I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the heartbeat, You guys,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I just want to hear that for the rest of
- 6:17Speaker 1: my life. If I could just hear that heartbeat forever,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm chilling, you know. I told Randall, I'm like, whenever
- 6:23Speaker 1: you're having a heart day, you just remember the heartbeat
- 6:26Speaker 1: and you will have the best day ever. But now
- 6:28Speaker 1: it's like the size of a gummy bear, the cutest
- 6:30Speaker 1: gummy bear.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And I was saying, it's always food.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like it's it's, you know, a raspberry exactly,
- 6:40Speaker 1: very weird.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I didn't notice that, but now I'm thinking about it.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You're right, it is always food, and it's is it
- 6:45Speaker 2: a gummy bear?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Now it looks like a gummy bear. And maybe it's
- 6:48Speaker 1: because my doctor was like, let's see this little gummy bear,
- 6:50Speaker 1: because you know, little arms are out and about. But
- 6:54Speaker 1: it was so cute because yesterday and it could have
- 6:57Speaker 1: been in my mind, but we'll just pretend it was
- 6:59Speaker 1: really happening. It was like torquing for its mama it
- 7:03Speaker 1: was like showing out on the sonogram yesterday. It was so.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Cute, it was it was I that's what it's.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Called, right, a sonogram?
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, God, I'm turning into such a mom.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Will you spell sonogram for us?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Don't do that, don't do that, don't do that.
- 7:18Speaker 3: No, I'm kidding. We're not going to do the spelling
- 7:19Speaker 3: be today. That's next week.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I want to I want to ask you something because
- 7:24Speaker 2: i'd love to hear, because I haven't asked you this yet.
- 7:26Speaker 2: What would you say to your newborn almost? I mean, uh,
- 7:32Speaker 2: that's the wrong thing, because what would you say to
- 7:34Speaker 2: yours soon to be new child today? What advice would
- 7:40Speaker 2: you give our child today? If you could talk to me?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Oh, that is hard. I think it would depend on
- 7:47Speaker 1: if it was a boy or a girl. I think
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'd be much more delicate if I knew it was
- 7:52Speaker 1: going to be a chick. But honestly, I think the
- 7:55Speaker 1: one thing would be like, you're safe with me. This
- 7:58Speaker 1: world is going to really try to kick your eye,
- 8:00Speaker 1: but I got you, Bill, I'm going to kick it
- 8:02Speaker 1: to ask for you. You know. I love that as long
- 8:05Speaker 1: as my kid always knows that it's safe. Yes, I'm
- 8:08Speaker 1: chilling so that I.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Have a question.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Then are you going to find out whether it's a
- 8:11Speaker 5: boy or girl?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'll decorate.
- 8:16Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 8:17Speaker 1: I don't know how these people are like, I'm not
- 8:19Speaker 1: going to find out until it's born. I'm like, I
- 8:21Speaker 1: would lose my mind.
- 8:22Speaker 5: We did it twice.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I can't why.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Sarah was so freaked out by the prospect of giving
- 8:31Speaker 5: birth any woman should be. I identify with that that
- 8:35Speaker 5: she thought that having that surprise at the end of
- 8:39Speaker 5: that process would be a good motivator.
- 8:41Speaker 3: For We're gonna, okay, we're going to say no, I
- 8:44Speaker 3: respect her.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I'm definitely having to find out I have to. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: respect women.
- 8:48Speaker 3: But I respect This is your show, right, this is.
- 8:52Speaker 1: The lawless it's my body. Don't tell me what to
- 8:54Speaker 1: do with it. I get it.
- 8:56Speaker 2: We are actually, we actually already planned that in a
- 8:59Speaker 2: few weeks, we're gonna.
- 9:01Speaker 1: No, don't tell them how we're gonna douse. I'm want
- 9:04Speaker 1: to post that on my Instagram.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna leave those moments for you. You're the boss.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But we are going to know in a couple of weeks,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and we've already planned how to do the gender reveal.
- 9:15Speaker 3: You're gonna be there, so obviously gonna be really fun.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I will be honored.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yes, it'll be the best day ever, well for me,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and then you guys all better pretend it's the best
- 9:23Speaker 1: day of your life too.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Okay, Now, let's talk about the day that you did
- 9:27Speaker 2: find out about when you were pregnant and how you
- 9:31Speaker 2: surprised me and the kids.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Tell that story.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Okay, So we had bought a pregnancy test, and I'm
- 9:41Speaker 1: weird about a pregnancy test because I've bought them before
- 9:44Speaker 1: and then you do kind of get bummed out when
- 9:46Speaker 1: you pee on it and it's like not pregnant. You're like,
- 9:48Speaker 1: oh shit. So, like it was just sitting there, Randall,
- 9:53Speaker 1: my mom in London went off to do their thing
- 9:55Speaker 1: at camp where yes, Camp Highlander, you got to get
- 9:59Speaker 1: the uh. They went to do archery. Riley, my little
- 10:04Speaker 1: soul sister, was like, I'm trying to take a bath,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the six year old she's in the bath doing her
- 10:08Speaker 1: thing and I'm bored. So I'm like, I'm gonna take
- 10:12Speaker 1: that test. And Riley says, you know, is it a
- 10:15Speaker 1: test for your health? Because if it's a test for
- 10:17Speaker 1: your health, then you got to take it. So I
- 10:19Speaker 1: was like, all right, we'll take it right now. So
- 10:22Speaker 1: I do my thing and I'm sitting there waiting. She's
- 10:25Speaker 1: in the tub. It's like just a bathroom, you know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: And it pops up pregnant, okay. And I look up
- 10:33Speaker 1: at Riley and I was like, do you know what
- 10:35Speaker 1: this means? She was what what does it say? I
- 10:37Speaker 1: was like, this means Laala is gonna have a baby.
- 10:40Speaker 1: She stands up screams, You're.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Gonna have a baby.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We gotta tell my dad right now.
- 10:48Speaker 3: And let's rewind.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So I'm at archery at Camp Highlander, where there's no reception,
- 10:55Speaker 2: and I want to preface somebody. La left a little
- 10:58Speaker 2: special little trink it out the night before. She said
- 11:02Speaker 2: should I take the test? And I said absolutely not.
- 11:04Speaker 2: We are having the greatest trip with the girls, with
- 11:06Speaker 2: your mom with me. We're gonna wait till we get
- 11:09Speaker 2: home because if you're not pregnant, it's going to be
- 11:12Speaker 2: a spiral depression. And she looked at me and said, baby,
- 11:15Speaker 2: you're right, and I was like great. So I go
- 11:17Speaker 2: off to battle. I go off to the archery range
- 11:20Speaker 2: with mom, who thinks she's a pro archer. With my
- 11:22Speaker 2: with London, who thinks she's a pro archer, and we
- 11:24Speaker 2: go off a new archery no reception. Meanwhile, we were
- 11:28Speaker 2: there from archery, went down.
- 11:29Speaker 1: A lake four hours four four hours, Riley and I
- 11:32Speaker 1: just sat on the front porch waiting, waiting, and I
- 11:37Speaker 1: kept saying like, let's go inside and like let's try
- 11:40Speaker 1: to watch TV. And she was like, no, we have
- 11:42Speaker 1: to wait right here because when they come in, we
- 11:44Speaker 1: got to tell them.
- 11:45Speaker 2: So no, wait, So I'm coming. So Lisa is hanging
- 11:48Speaker 2: out with London at the lake. I go, Lisa, I'm done.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm going to go back to the cabin. I'll meet
- 11:52Speaker 2: you when you guys are done. So I jog off
- 11:54Speaker 2: to the cabin. Four hours later. Meanwhile, not thinking anything
- 11:58Speaker 2: would be of any urgent news because we had an
- 12:00Speaker 2: agreement that you wanted to take the test.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I walk in. They're both standing there.
- 12:05Speaker 2: They got this weird little game there, like they play
- 12:08Speaker 2: games and tricks on me.
- 12:09Speaker 1: So we're in North Carolina. I'm like, how, by the way,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I am no Susie homemaker, all right, I'm looking up ideas.
- 12:15Speaker 1: His mom is like, you could send him on a
- 12:17Speaker 1: scavenger hunt.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I'm like, my mother notes, by the way, my mother,
- 12:20Speaker 3: that's another thing. My mother already knew. I walk in
- 12:23Speaker 3: the door. I want to just tell it from my pursuit.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I walked in the door, and you hand me a box.
- 12:27Speaker 1: A popcorn box.
- 12:28Speaker 2: A popcorn box, and they're both got these grins on
- 12:31Speaker 2: their face. By the way, truth be told. I had
- 12:34Speaker 2: not a single clue because we had an agreement. So
- 12:37Speaker 2: I look at this popcorn box and they go open it,
- 12:39Speaker 2: open it. They're both like, like so giddy, and I'm
- 12:42Speaker 2: like whatever, So I opened the popcorn box.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I think they're gonna like something.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Snake's gonna jump out and it's the pregnancy test. And
- 12:49Speaker 2: I was just like, yo, that's cool.
- 12:51Speaker 1: No, he was not. He solved his eyes out ball.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I was emotional.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I got sawm all right, I'll toast the video of
- 12:58Speaker 1: you crying later.
- 12:59Speaker 3: If you post that fucking video. Model.
- 13:02Speaker 4: No.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Really, he's beside himself hugging me, being like is it
- 13:06Speaker 1: really happy? For a second, I was like, are you
- 13:10Speaker 1: upset about it? Or are these happy tears?
- 13:13Speaker 4: No?
- 13:13Speaker 2: By the way, I was very emotion I don't even
- 13:15Speaker 2: remember because I was. It was so shocking because it's
- 13:18Speaker 2: not like we took it together and I was ready
- 13:19Speaker 2: for it. I just opened a popcorn box thinking they
- 13:22Speaker 2: were tricking me, and I was so happy, you know,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I was happy, and and then it was like and
- 13:28Speaker 2: then your mom came. About thirty minutes later, we shod her.
- 13:31Speaker 2: She cried, everybody cried. It was a big celebration, and
- 13:34Speaker 2: from that moment on, I was like, this is for me.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I'll tell you why. It was even more special.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Camp Highlander, the camp that I went to as a child,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and then my kids go.
- 13:43Speaker 1: To who We did an entire episode about you guys.
- 13:46Speaker 1: If you go back and listen, we literally have a
- 13:48Speaker 1: full episode of Give Them All with Randall talking about
- 13:51Speaker 1: how epic Camp Hunter.
- 13:53Speaker 3: But I want to take it.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So to say he loves it and it's his happy
- 13:55Speaker 1: place is a little bit of an understatement, but.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You know what's crazy.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I did to take the test there originally because I
- 14:02Speaker 2: wanted it to be positive at Camp, because I thought
- 14:05Speaker 2: how magical this, this mountain gave me so much love
- 14:08Speaker 2: and so much security in my life. And I was like,
- 14:11Speaker 2: you know what, but if it's negative, it'll always remember
- 14:14Speaker 2: it being negative. So I was like, fuck that, we're
- 14:16Speaker 2: not ruining this Mountain and I come back and it
- 14:18Speaker 2: was positive. And now that camp is even like our
- 14:23Speaker 2: baby will go to this camp when it's six years old.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I can't wait anyway, Like the child's not even born
- 14:32Speaker 1: and you're you're talking to me about sending it away
- 14:35Speaker 1: for two weeks. I'm like, not happening. I think that's cute.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I signed him up already, He's in a six week session.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I love it all I know.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Let me say this baby, that day, that day, no bullshit,
- 14:45Speaker 2: That day was so beautiful and so magical, and I
- 14:49Speaker 2: just want to say that the way you surprised me
- 14:51Speaker 2: was so perfect with Riley.
- 14:53Speaker 3: It was it was flawless.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Oh are you going to cry a little bit? Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I won't put you on the spot.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And it was just beautiful. It was everything it was
- 15:02Speaker 2: supposed to be. And God was definitely shining down that day,
- 15:05Speaker 2: and it was it was what it was supposed to make.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It really was. And I think like I wanted to
- 15:09Speaker 1: take it on my own because if it would have
- 15:12Speaker 1: been negative, like I just would have told Randall, like,
- 15:14Speaker 1: by the way, it's negative, like we have to try again,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you know, and figure out the ovulation dates or whatever.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Well you would have done it. You would have up
- 15:22Speaker 3: again at three in the morning.
- 15:23Speaker 2: At four forty eight am on September sixteenth, I'd say,
- 15:27Speaker 2: let's go attention, So it would have been you know,
- 15:30Speaker 2: but yes, it would.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Have been as But just like the fact that I
- 15:34Speaker 1: got to share that moment with Riley was like the
- 15:39Speaker 1: best day ever. It was the cutest, sweetest thing. She
- 15:43Speaker 1: was beyond excited and I would like, go inside just
- 15:49Speaker 1: because you're bored, and I would walk out and see
- 15:52Speaker 1: her and she was sitting on the chair, just like
- 15:54Speaker 1: waiting for you to come home. She would not even
- 15:57Speaker 1: go upstairs to get dressed. She sat for four hours
- 16:00Speaker 1: hours in a bathtub.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I didn't even know about. I didn't even know this. Yes,
- 16:03Speaker 3: and I'm going to tell you something.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I we were out for four hours archery lake all that,
- 16:09Speaker 2: So I'm just thinking, like four hours waiting.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I mean, I couldn't have done what you did.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Like if I was getting a pregnancy test, I would
- 16:16Speaker 2: be sprinting to you like I went done it, but
- 16:20Speaker 2: but no, you that takes a lot of control. So
- 16:22Speaker 2: it was but it was beautiful because it was it
- 16:25Speaker 2: was us, and it was that moment.
- 16:26Speaker 3: And I'll always remember it forever.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I love you so much.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Well, I am equally excited that that we get to
- 16:33Speaker 2: share this surprise and you're going to obviously share it
- 16:35Speaker 2: with Lisa, somebody that had such a big effect.
- 16:37Speaker 3: On your life.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And I think that it just brings life full circle.
- 16:42Speaker 3: You know.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I always say that in business and life, we're always
- 16:45Speaker 2: coming full circle in some aspect. And I feel like today,
- 16:48Speaker 2: you know, you were a host at sir Yeah, and
- 16:52Speaker 2: now you're having a baby and Lisa, who gave you
- 16:55Speaker 2: just an incredible opportunity, you know, in your career to
- 16:58Speaker 2: jump started.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 1: She's someone who was twenty three years old, a little
- 17:02Speaker 1: bit of a loose cannon, really living her best life,
- 17:05Speaker 1: to someone who came into her own and now is
- 17:09Speaker 1: like having her own baby. It's pretty intense and crazy.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I am very excited for us, but I'm also very
- 17:17Speaker 2: excited for you and Lisa to have this moment and
- 17:20Speaker 2: without Ado, we're going to take a quick break and
- 17:23Speaker 2: then you are going to bring us back with the
- 17:25Speaker 2: great Lisa vander Plump.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Love it. We are back with my queen Bee, Miss
- 17:33Speaker 1: Lisa vander Pump.
- 17:37Speaker 4: So good to see you.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We miss you.
- 17:41Speaker 4: I miss you too. I mean, at first it was
- 17:43Speaker 4: that she like a bit of a break from everybody
- 17:46Speaker 4: who holds crazy. But now I really miss your naughtiness.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yes, I'm so happy that you say that, because I
- 17:54Speaker 1: kind of miss my naughtiness too. I look in the
- 17:56Speaker 1: mirror and I'm like, what's happened to you? You're so
- 17:58Speaker 1: normal now.
- 18:00Speaker 4: So you started to go on the normal trajectory in
- 18:02Speaker 4: the last year or so. Okay, So.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, by the way, Lisa, I agree with that. Twelve months,
- 18:08Speaker 2: she's been on that trajectory no more.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that's true. Well I I kind of knew
- 18:14Speaker 4: her before you did. Really, so I've got all the juice.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Okay, I live in my best life.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I didn't give my damn your.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Best life is with me.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Well, I always had a very soft spot in my
- 18:32Speaker 4: heart for La La, and even once she kind of
- 18:35Speaker 4: left for a little bit, I kind of chased her
- 18:37Speaker 4: back in. You know, I always knew you were capable
- 18:40Speaker 4: of great things.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I Lisa, I just love and adore you for saying that.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And you know it's funny, before you came on you
- 18:48Speaker 1: really did you know? You're the reason why I am
- 18:51Speaker 1: not learn from Utah anymore, and that I'm freaking lalac
- 18:54Speaker 1: kent because you gave me an opportunity that changed my
- 18:59Speaker 1: entire life. So I want you to know that I'm
- 19:01Speaker 1: extremely grateful for you, and I always have so much
- 19:04Speaker 1: love in my heart for you.
- 19:05Speaker 4: You know what, I really appreciate you saying that, because
- 19:07Speaker 4: I do feel I've given a lot of youngsters, you know,
- 19:10Speaker 4: such a good platform, and sometimes they don't always appreciate it.
- 19:14Speaker 4: But I'll tell you what, La, La, you would be
- 19:16Speaker 4: going places with or without me.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Ah, No, you would.
- 19:20Speaker 4: You're that kind of girl. You know, you're bright, you're beautiful,
- 19:23Speaker 4: and it would be rude if you didn't go somewhere.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Because you know you're who you are. You've got to
- 19:28Speaker 4: make most of it right.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I agree, I love you.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I want to say something, Lisa, you know you would
- 19:33Speaker 2: become You and Ken obviously very good friends of ours.
- 19:36Speaker 2: You've been with all the stuff about me going on
- 19:39Speaker 2: the show and not going on the show, you were
- 19:40Speaker 2: always a friend of me. You always made me feel
- 19:43Speaker 2: comfortable and made me feel safe, and finally got to
- 19:45Speaker 2: a place where you said to me, it's time you
- 19:47Speaker 2: need to do this and it will be okay.
- 19:50Speaker 4: And you did well because you know you were like
- 19:52Speaker 4: a pigment of La LA's imagination. We can only talk
- 19:56Speaker 4: about somebody for so long and then they have to
- 19:59Speaker 4: make an appear rance. And the more important you became
- 20:02Speaker 4: in her life, the more important it became to the show.
- 20:05Speaker 4: So then I felt that she was taking heat because
- 20:07Speaker 4: you weren't part of it. Because it's like, people are
- 20:10Speaker 4: never interested in what you've got to say. They're interested
- 20:13Speaker 4: in what you've got to hide. They always want the secret,
- 20:16Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. So I think it was
- 20:17Speaker 4: good that you actually finally came out of the reality closet.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Yeah, right, Randa had to learn that the hard way,
- 20:25Speaker 1: where like I would tell him, I'm like, because no
- 20:28Speaker 1: one knows, like if you're made up or not. People
- 20:31Speaker 1: are really dying to know who you are. Now they
- 20:33Speaker 1: know who he is, and it's.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Like, don't care. Sounds it's great.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You know, his Instagram following is slowly creating.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Embraced you though, people embraced.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You, They really did, Yeah they did.
- 20:44Speaker 4: And also you.
- 20:45Speaker 6: Were getting a bad rap from James when he was
- 20:48Speaker 6: in his psycho face and he was kind of saying
- 20:51Speaker 6: it was a difficult, you know, at that time, kind
- 20:54Speaker 6: of playground to kind of jump into.
- 20:56Speaker 3: It was.
- 20:57Speaker 2: It was a different time, and I think when I
- 20:58Speaker 2: came in, every body was kind of leveling off and people.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Really embraced me. And you were right.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Had I maybe gone on a few years before, maybe
- 21:05Speaker 2: it would have been easier. But at the end of
- 21:07Speaker 2: the day, I just my whole life was behind the
- 21:10Speaker 2: scenes and it was just what I knew.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Well, also, your life is more complicated then, and everything
- 21:16Speaker 4: probably needed to settle down before you could. Yeah.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Would you say your life is less complicated now.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Well it could only get more complicated.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yes, So I like to make things very difficult, dramatic.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I crave like a dramatic moment because you know, I
- 21:32Speaker 1: grew up in the arts.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Hey, where where's your nails?
- 21:36Speaker 1: I don't have them?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Oh my god, you're gonna be so pragged mind. Look
- 21:39Speaker 4: wow tu, I'm grown and oh my seen the manicured months.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Wait wait, you did that on your own.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I did it all on my own.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It's insane to me. Lisa vander Pump is wealthy af
- 21:56Speaker 1: and she does all this shit by herself. It's the
- 21:58Speaker 1: craziest thing I've ever seen. She's like in her restaurants
- 22:01Speaker 1: with the flowers.
- 22:02Speaker 4: I'm like she used to be before COVID. I'll tell
- 22:06Speaker 4: you what, five months of paying rent and insurance and
- 22:10Speaker 4: this and having no business is taxing, stretching. You know,
- 22:13Speaker 4: it's a bit of a nightmare. But we'll get back
- 22:16Speaker 4: on track soon.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I just want to say something, and I'm leading up
- 22:19Speaker 2: to so I had called you and I had said
- 22:22Speaker 2: to you that we just have a little surprise, not
- 22:24Speaker 2: a big deal, but we wanted to surprise you on
- 22:26Speaker 2: the pody.
- 22:26Speaker 4: You always have a surprise. Where are we going?
- 22:31Speaker 3: We're going on a trip. You've want to trip to Bermuda.
- 22:33Speaker 2: No, we could do that too, But I just want
- 22:36Speaker 2: to say that, you know, obviously when we started the podcast,
- 22:38Speaker 2: and you'll hear, I was telling Laala that you know,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you've changed her life. I mean, single handedly giving her
- 22:44Speaker 2: the opportunity to be on your show, be in your restaurant,
- 22:47Speaker 2: all that stuff has changed her life forever. And I
- 22:49Speaker 2: feel like, you know, something beautiful happened to us, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: Laala wanted to share it with you first before anybody else.
- 22:56Speaker 2: So I leave the floor to Lala again.
- 22:59Speaker 1: So, after four and a half years that we've been together,
- 23:03Speaker 1: of a lot of ups and downs, Lisa vander Pump,
- 23:07Speaker 1: I am having a baby. Oh my goodness, a little
- 23:16Speaker 1: baby emmy.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Yeah, gosh, how exciting for you guys? A pink one
- 23:23Speaker 4: or a blue one? Do we know?
- 23:24Speaker 3: We do not know yet. Two weeks.
- 23:26Speaker 1: We'll know that two weeks.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Want how many weeks saw you?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Oh?
- 23:30Speaker 1: We're new, we're fresh. We're just approaching ten weeks.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Oh, you know what? It makes me want to cry,
- 23:35Speaker 4: But I don't want to cry because my eye.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Oh I have been I sob about everything, Lisa, And
- 23:41Speaker 1: I'm like, there used to be reasons why I would cry.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Now I just break down for no reason.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Oh, how so, how many weeks saw you? Exactly?
- 23:49Speaker 3: Now?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm like a couple of days, shy? I believe of
- 23:53Speaker 1: ten weeks?
- 23:54Speaker 4: Who are you feeling sick?
- 23:57Speaker 1: I feel nauseous. I only crave corn bread and diet
- 24:02Speaker 1: coke and watermelon. So it's okay.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Drinking diet coat for a start.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Okay, just.
- 24:12Speaker 4: A little bit of that, but not too much.
- 24:15Speaker 2: She threw up a bunch of times this last week.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It's been the worst I've seen she's been sick, and it's.
- 24:21Speaker 4: You know, I can relate to that. I know what
- 24:23Speaker 4: that's like. That was a nightmare. I spent the first
- 24:25Speaker 4: three months of my head down the toilet with Pandora.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I know what that's like. But you look fabulous.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Well, thank you. I mean, my hair is getting thicker,
- 24:34Speaker 1: which is great. My nails grow like weeds because the prenatles.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So I was just really excited because I feel like
- 24:41Speaker 1: my life is changing and I feel like you're just
- 24:44Speaker 1: a huge part of my life and been in my life.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So have a little child, I feel, And now I'm
- 24:50Speaker 1: giving birth to a baby in like a few months.
- 24:53Speaker 1: That is crazy.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Well, you know what, I'm really happy for you, and
- 24:55Speaker 4: I think that this is perfect because I felt happy
- 24:58Speaker 4: the fact that the wedding was delayed and you know that.
- 25:01Speaker 4: So yeah, this is great. So you know what. I
- 25:05Speaker 4: remember the last time I spoke to you, and you
- 25:07Speaker 4: were in some awful, ugly pajamas like and I said,
- 25:12Speaker 4: oh my god, I said, he's clearly not going to
- 25:15Speaker 4: sleep with you. If you.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Care, then I know. Can I tell you I wear
- 25:23Speaker 1: less clothing when I go out in public than I
- 25:25Speaker 1: do when I go to bed, which is weird. I
- 25:27Speaker 1: should be like dressing sexy for bed, but I'm like
- 25:30Speaker 1: said cream and flannels.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Lisa, feel free to give her some advice.
- 25:33Speaker 4: It's probably the only girl that wears around the West
- 25:35Speaker 4: of Bed and not out to a barbecue.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah that's true. Yeah I do. I wear little to
- 25:42Speaker 1: no clothing out in public to show everyone else that
- 25:46Speaker 1: what they're not getting. But it's all, it's all pretend
- 25:49Speaker 1: randomly again is either what we clearly has a joke
- 25:55Speaker 1: one time, I feel like we have a really healthy
- 25:57Speaker 1: sex life.
- 25:58Speaker 3: We do. And look, you.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Must have rough keep feeling that wrangle if you only
- 26:02Speaker 4: did it one.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the fact that we only tried for
- 26:08Speaker 1: one month.
- 26:09Speaker 3: One month, it was basically one month. Really she went
- 26:11Speaker 3: off the I U D.
- 26:14Speaker 2: And then she had this little clock timer and she's like,
- 26:17Speaker 2: it's three o'clock on the eleventh, let's go right now.
- 26:19Speaker 4: And that you couldn't perform like that. You're that kind
- 26:22Speaker 4: of mass.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm a rock star with a good enough blow job.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Cool stuff.
- 26:28Speaker 3: We're talking about a newborn.
- 26:29Speaker 4: You were keeping it clean, remember your mother.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Lala, We are talking about our new boy.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I know I have a few months to like whip
- 26:38Speaker 1: myself into shape and become a classy.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Moment they say the baby can hear your voice in
- 26:43Speaker 4: there right now?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, oh fabulous. I heard that. It was only the
- 26:47Speaker 1: tone of the voice, not what you're saying.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Well, I probably don't think your baby knows what a
- 26:52Speaker 4: blowjob is, but I think we need to start the
- 26:56Speaker 4: way we mean to go on. And apparently when you're
- 26:59Speaker 4: pregn all this, you know, calm and like talking to
- 27:03Speaker 4: your baby. It's all about that, none of the mass
- 27:06Speaker 4: hysterics or hysteria.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Lisa, I have a question, can you give us, because
- 27:11Speaker 2: obviously you've raised children successfully, what advice do you give La?
- 27:15Speaker 3: La soon to me, like, what is she what should
- 27:19Speaker 3: she know? What are some tips that? Look?
- 27:22Speaker 4: You know, oh wow, well this is a much bigger conversation,
- 27:25Speaker 4: but I yeah, no, but it really is. But I
- 27:29Speaker 4: you know what, when I was pregnant with Pandora, I
- 27:32Speaker 4: really wasn't that familiar with babies that babysat as a teenager.
- 27:36Speaker 4: But I it's not like I had any younger brother's sister.
- 27:39Speaker 4: My brother was sixteen months older than me, you know,
- 27:42Speaker 4: And I thought what am I going to do with
- 27:45Speaker 4: a baby? I really thought, what am I going to
- 27:48Speaker 4: do with this baby? And I didn't even really want
- 27:50Speaker 4: a baby. I want you to piece it ken, you know,
- 27:52Speaker 4: it was just that I was so crazy in love.
- 27:54Speaker 4: So I had this baby, and I remember thinking, what
- 27:56Speaker 4: am I going to do this baby? Within twenty four hours,
- 27:59Speaker 4: I was like, what am I going to do without
- 28:02Speaker 4: this baby? That was the bonding. I really felt like
- 28:06Speaker 4: that your whole life changes so much and everything's put
- 28:10Speaker 4: in perspective. But you know, like say, every moment, I
- 28:14Speaker 4: think video as much. You can take as many pictures
- 28:17Speaker 4: because you think you're gonna remember every moment, and you
- 28:19Speaker 4: don't because it all goes by, and it's also overwhelming.
- 28:23Speaker 4: But you know, I don't think you should perpetuate cycles
- 28:26Speaker 4: at all. You know how you often talk about when
- 28:28Speaker 4: I was younger, this happened to me, and you know,
- 28:31Speaker 4: for me, I wasn't in a tactile relationship with my parents.
- 28:35Speaker 4: They were very English. They didn't kiss me, bite me,
- 28:37Speaker 4: color me that much. So I wanted the opposite to
- 28:40Speaker 4: my kids. I got to bed with them every night.
- 28:43Speaker 4: I literally there was not one part of their body,
- 28:46Speaker 4: not one part of their body that was untouched by me,
- 28:49Speaker 4: even to the appointment decency amazing, Candora. I'd make a
- 28:52Speaker 4: bend over and I'd bite the back of the knees.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I was like a very very physical mother. So you
- 28:58Speaker 4: know what I'm like with my dogs, and you're like
- 29:00Speaker 4: that with your dogs. You know, you're very loving, very tactile,
- 29:04Speaker 4: and I think you're probably gonna be that kind of
- 29:05Speaker 4: mother as well. You'll love it.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I think I'll be obsessed because even just the sonogram
- 29:11Speaker 1: that I you know, the few that I have, it
- 29:14Speaker 1: looks like a bean and I'm like, oh, it's perfect cute. Yes,
- 29:20Speaker 1: But it's so funny that you bring the dogs up.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Because when I look at Lily before, before I got pregnant,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I used to look at her and I'm like, how
- 29:28Speaker 1: could I love anything more than I love this dog?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Like not even a child like that too. Yeah, I
- 29:33Speaker 1: was like that.
- 29:34Speaker 4: I was like, I had this beautiful white samoid and
- 29:37Speaker 4: I was only twenty five when I had Pandora, and
- 29:40Speaker 4: I was just like, I'm gonna love you and you
- 29:42Speaker 4: will always be first place. And I said to Ken,
- 29:45Speaker 4: the baby's gonna be second place. And as soon as
- 29:47Speaker 4: I had the baby, I was just like, down, dad, right,
- 29:51Speaker 4: they're gonna be very careful with that. But Keim was
- 29:55Speaker 4: actually a really good father as well, you know, with
- 29:57Speaker 4: Panny and Max was very very hand and I do
- 30:01Speaker 4: think if you go into it with the understanding, but
- 30:04Speaker 4: things aren't you know, going to be perfect. There are challenges.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Just like any big shift in your dynamic of your relationship,
- 30:11Speaker 4: there can be time when you know you're tired and
- 30:14Speaker 4: everything's disrupted and physically everything's you know, speaking here and
- 30:20Speaker 4: who are and all that stuff. But even though it's
- 30:23Speaker 4: the best time of my life, but it's very kind
- 30:25Speaker 4: of uprooting, and that's the time you really need his support.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I love that. On that note, We're going to take
- 30:33Speaker 1: a quick break and then I'm going to ask you
- 30:35Speaker 1: what Randall can do to help this baby mama out.
- 30:38Speaker 1: We'll be right back. We are back with my favorite
- 30:47Speaker 1: woman of all time besides my own mama, Lisa vander Pump. Hello,
- 30:52Speaker 1: my lad.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Not your second mama.
- 30:53Speaker 1: You are like my second mama. That's pretty badass, and
- 30:57Speaker 1: it's like, who is your second mom? Lisa vander heard
- 31:00Speaker 1: of her. Thank you.
- 31:03Speaker 4: As I think as we were talking about just before
- 31:08Speaker 4: we kind of broke, you know, it's very important that
- 31:11Speaker 4: you do realize you go into this and you realize
- 31:14Speaker 4: that everything changes, every your priorities change, you know, every
- 31:19Speaker 4: single thing every aspect of your life will change, and
- 31:22Speaker 4: I don't think you should put too much pressure on
- 31:25Speaker 4: yourself to think that it's got to be the fairy tale.
- 31:27Speaker 4: You've got to understand that. And I think you know
- 31:30Speaker 4: also because sometimes the men also feel as much you
- 31:33Speaker 4: want their support, sometimes they feel pushed into second place.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Randal is very much a baby and like your undivided attention.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I can't even get it now, Lisa, I can't even
- 31:44Speaker 2: get it now right between the dogs, between the dogs
- 31:48Speaker 2: and her mother, I'm like third place. So I'd just
- 31:51Speaker 2: like to be in second would be great.
- 31:53Speaker 4: You're going to be lucky if you're going to be
- 31:54Speaker 4: in the top ten movie, you know what. I think
- 32:01Speaker 4: you've got to understand that it's your baby together, you know.
- 32:07Speaker 4: And Ken isn't demanding like that. His kind of so
- 32:10Speaker 4: I was a little bit, you know, he would come
- 32:13Speaker 4: in and he'd be like.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Like huh oh, my gosh. It was like kind of
- 32:19Speaker 1: like the opposite where Ken it was like, hey remember me. Yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 1: So you said that Ken was very hands on, and
- 32:27Speaker 1: I've seen Randall be a dad to his two girls.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Your girls are gorgeous, by the way, they're gorgeous, lovely, girls.
- 32:35Speaker 4: I spent time with him on the plane.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, bad, that's right.
- 32:38Speaker 1: How did Ken balance being a husband now a new dad,
- 32:44Speaker 1: and his business and make that all work well?
- 32:48Speaker 4: I mean Ken was lucky like Randal that he has
- 32:52Speaker 4: autonomy in his life, so to speak. He can make
- 32:55Speaker 4: the decisions, you know. I mean, of course some things
- 32:57Speaker 4: have to be done, but it's not like you're in
- 32:59Speaker 4: aind of ninety five job where you have to defer
- 33:02Speaker 4: to other people. So we could kind of, you know,
- 33:05Speaker 4: create our own schedule, even though something's obviously with no commitments.
- 33:10Speaker 4: But I think it was the biggest shift to me.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I remember our relationship changing a bit, and in one
- 33:17Speaker 4: way it's you have to adjust because you know, the
- 33:21Speaker 4: nights and things like that and having a baby in
- 33:23Speaker 4: the bed and the constant demand. But there's something other
- 33:27Speaker 4: that's so incredible. You don't just feel like you're in
- 33:30Speaker 4: a relationship. You feel like you're a family. There's something
- 33:33Speaker 4: about it that changes, and I think you're just gonna
- 33:38Speaker 4: love it. You can be a lovely mother, as I say,
- 33:41Speaker 4: I think you can see how people are a lot
- 33:43Speaker 4: of people are, you know, as the maternal instincts of
- 33:46Speaker 4: the way they interact with animals, and you know, and
- 33:49Speaker 4: I know we usually what cames like with Jiggy that's.
- 33:51Speaker 2: A great example, Yeah, because he's heat babies, heat babies,
- 33:56Speaker 2: you're you know he babies or dogs like their children.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Yes, and we did have disagreements like Ken would you know,
- 34:03Speaker 4: I think with the children growing up, I was probably
- 34:06Speaker 4: a little stricter whereas Ken, especially Pandora being the first
- 34:11Speaker 4: go because he had a son, you know, prior, like
- 34:14Speaker 4: his son was fifteen when I met him, he being
- 34:17Speaker 4: divorced and he had his son custom of his son,
- 34:20Speaker 4: so he knew a lot more about kind of raising
- 34:23Speaker 4: babies and children than I did. But yeah, he's he
- 34:27Speaker 4: spoilt a little bit.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I don't do that.
- 34:30Speaker 4: He wanted to be the good guy all the time.
- 34:32Speaker 1: If I don't want, I'm not Lord have mercy. That
- 34:35Speaker 1: is Randall.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Yeah, you're going to be the good guy. Lala's going
- 34:37Speaker 4: to be the bad guy.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Say oh yeah, oh no, no, it's already like that.
- 34:42Speaker 2: As a stepmom, I'm like I'm like go to Target
- 34:44Speaker 2: buy everything, and Lala's like one.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Thing each Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I definitely I respect La lot because I
- 34:53Speaker 2: know that she's very discipline in that perspective. That's going
- 34:57Speaker 2: to be great for me because she's been really goo
- 35:00Speaker 2: rate with my girls and helping me be more discipline.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Because I'm very similar to Ken. I'm like, I want
- 35:06Speaker 2: to just I think it's all the time.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I feel like kids in Beverly Hills can get spoiled
- 35:12Speaker 1: very quickly and not understand how hard it is to
- 35:15Speaker 1: make a dollar to go out and buy things. So
- 35:18Speaker 1: when I watch Randall just like spending money on things
- 35:23Speaker 1: that is, I'm like, they need to know that it's
- 35:26Speaker 1: hard to go out and just buy things.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Oh.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Mama has a job, so I'm allowed to buy whatever
- 35:33Speaker 1: I want.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, No, No, I agree with you. Well, you
- 35:37Speaker 4: see my kids. You saw them, you know, you see
- 35:40Speaker 4: max waiting tables, you see Handy weaighted tables all through college.
- 35:44Speaker 4: I had a job since I was thirteen. I think
- 35:47Speaker 4: you do them a favor, instill values. But you know what,
- 35:50Speaker 4: that's going to come so much later. You don't need
- 35:52Speaker 4: to worry about No, I don't need to worry about year.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Just kiss that little I'm hoping for you, hoping for
- 36:00Speaker 4: a boy.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Or a girl, healthy, healthy?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Hell no, So if we're being like you know.
- 36:06Speaker 3: If we have a perfect, healthy child.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yes, I was like a boy. I've always pictured myself
- 36:11Speaker 1: having a boy first, and I feel like I have
- 36:14Speaker 1: two girls already. I get to do the girl thing.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I can't. We need more male energy in house. There's
- 36:21Speaker 1: a lot of girls wanting to play with La LA's
- 36:23Speaker 1: weave and her makeup, and it's like, I need a boy.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I need some trucks around a football. I don't know.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Well, you see, Yeah, when I when I was pregnant
- 36:32Speaker 4: with Pandora, I wanted a girl so badly. Ken said,
- 36:35Speaker 4: you want the girl so badly that baby would change
- 36:38Speaker 4: sex incidity, and everyone said, all the way you're carrying,
- 36:42Speaker 4: it's going to be a boy, and I was like, no,
- 36:43Speaker 4: I want a pink one. I think it was more
- 36:45Speaker 4: about being pink. It was going to be like a
- 36:48Speaker 4: girl or a gay boy. You know, he just had
- 36:50Speaker 4: to be. I was gonna address it in like a
- 36:52Speaker 4: pink fluffy suit regardless, you know. Right. So when I
- 36:55Speaker 4: had Cesarean and so you know, I was way through
- 36:58Speaker 4: the whole thing and they is a but the girl.
- 37:03Speaker 4: I remember it was just but at that time it
- 37:06Speaker 4: wouldn't have mattered, you know, when it really comes to it.
- 37:09Speaker 4: But yeah, ideally that's what I wanted. I think that
- 37:12Speaker 4: was because Ken, like Randall, he had to goes. Ken
- 37:15Speaker 4: had a boy, and so I wanted to give him
- 37:17Speaker 4: a daughter and they were all boys, not family.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Ah, and then little baby Pandora. Yeah, and you know what,
- 37:25Speaker 7: You're so right about what you said, how Max waited tables.
- 37:29Speaker 7: Pandora works her butt off with your companies that you
- 37:33Speaker 7: have everything. And I remember on one of the episodes
- 37:37Speaker 7: you were like, no, Max is not a manager.
- 37:40Speaker 1: What he just gets to be a manager because he's
- 37:42Speaker 1: my son. Yeah, work a little harder and maybe you'll
- 37:44Speaker 1: get promoted. It was freaking awesome.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Oh my god. I've been criticized so much about so
- 37:49Speaker 4: many things, and I don't care because you know, I've
- 37:51Speaker 4: raised and it's like all through COVID, Max has been
- 37:55Speaker 4: in Idaho working with autistic children and right really you know,
- 37:59Speaker 4: like wow, yeah, yeah, like working two or to sit
- 38:02Speaker 4: young people, and he's been you know, he's just a
- 38:07Speaker 4: very giving person and he's a very kind person. Now
- 38:10Speaker 4: he's volunteer volunteering at the vand Pump Dog Foundation. But
- 38:15Speaker 4: I don't know, it's just how you raise them. It's
- 38:17Speaker 4: so important that you instill those values you you really
- 38:20Speaker 4: give them the best chance in life. And for me
- 38:23Speaker 4: spoiling them, I mean, of course I spoiled them, but
- 38:26Speaker 4: I remember I got so much crap on Housewives. I
- 38:30Speaker 4: shouldn't talk about this. Bring the crap up again, But
- 38:34Speaker 4: I don't care bringing everybody oh yeah, when he's electricity
- 38:41Speaker 4: was cut off, and they were like, well, I said, no,
- 38:44Speaker 4: I work all the time. I work really hard, and
- 38:49Speaker 4: you know, you can pare your own electricity bill. And
- 38:52Speaker 4: I'm sorry if you've got a lighter candle and take
- 38:55Speaker 4: a cold shower until you you know, like, if you're
- 38:58Speaker 4: only working four shifts a week, no, you go do it.
- 39:01Speaker 4: And a lot of people criticized me for that, but
- 39:03Speaker 4: I don't care. I'm like, my kids are being spoiled.
- 39:06Speaker 4: They've always got place to come to, you know, I
- 39:09Speaker 4: love it.
- 39:09Speaker 3: They've always got a roof over their head, and they've
- 39:11Speaker 3: all yes.
- 39:12Speaker 4: And now I did buy them both, you know, gave
- 39:16Speaker 4: them the deposit for a place to live, and they
- 39:19Speaker 4: both have a mortgage, you know, and Laura and Jason
- 39:22Speaker 4: have a mortgage and Max has a mortgage. I just
- 39:24Speaker 4: gave them, you know, a health, a start, but I
- 39:27Speaker 4: like them to have their responsibilities. I think it's the
- 39:29Speaker 4: best thing could do. But not when they're just born. Ala,
- 39:33Speaker 4: you do not need to tell them to go get
- 39:34Speaker 4: their own.
- 39:36Speaker 1: The segment comes out, you better start earning your keep
- 39:40Speaker 1: exactly out there and get a job.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Are you going to breastfeed?
- 39:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 39:43Speaker 1: I want to do it all. I just don't want
- 39:45Speaker 1: to turn into a cow, you know, just like totally.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And you know, I feel very grateful that it did
- 39:51Speaker 1: not take me very long to get pregnant. I have
- 39:54Speaker 1: friends that have been trying to get pregnant for years.
- 39:57Speaker 1: And then, you know, you just think when you have
- 39:59Speaker 1: a baby, you're gonna breast feed. And there are women
- 40:01Speaker 1: who their baby just cannot seem to attach and they
- 40:04Speaker 1: feel like the bond isn't there. There's like so many
- 40:07Speaker 1: things that you just think are gonna happen. I'm gonna
- 40:10Speaker 1: get older, have a baby, breastfeed, do the whole thing,
- 40:12Speaker 1: and so I just like I want to take it.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I would love to have just a very easy experience
- 40:20Speaker 1: being you know, a human cass. Oh, you know, like
- 40:24Speaker 1: the baby is like right on the nipple.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Popping in pantsy. I mean I yeah, I pressed that
- 40:32Speaker 4: and it was very easy for me and thank god
- 40:36Speaker 4: for that. But only for a few months, you know,
- 40:39Speaker 4: but it was yeah, it was good.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah. These women that have their baby on the
- 40:42Speaker 1: tit at like literally a year and a half. I'm like,
- 40:45Speaker 1: this is getting a little weird. We should try to
- 40:47Speaker 1: wean them off.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Now when they're opening your shirt the buttons and standing
- 40:52Speaker 4: up to do.
- 40:52Speaker 1: It, that is so funny.
- 40:57Speaker 4: I know. But you know what I'm all about. You've
- 40:59Speaker 4: got to do what's right for you. You've got to
- 41:01Speaker 4: do what's right for your family, you know. And I
- 41:04Speaker 4: think everybody kind of makes different choices and that's good too.
- 41:08Speaker 4: But I'm very happy for you, and you know, it's
- 41:11Speaker 4: good to see you kind.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Of well, we're excited that you got to share this
- 41:15Speaker 1: moment with us.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Who else knows?
- 41:18Speaker 1: I mean, I would just say my close friends and family,
- 41:21Speaker 1: not very much.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I'd say probably six people total, like recently, just because
- 41:26Speaker 2: you know, we weren't sure.
- 41:27Speaker 3: We want to make sure everything was healthy. But that's it.
- 41:30Speaker 2: I mean, you're you're you're probably the the you're number
- 41:33Speaker 2: seven probably in and I was just family.
- 41:36Speaker 4: So you know, and you have you had any tests
- 41:40Speaker 4: or not have you you just had a blood test.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Yes, I did my blood work. Everything seems to be
- 41:45Speaker 1: looking great.
- 41:46Speaker 3: And now I just heart beat. How it's above and healthy.
- 41:49Speaker 1: The heartbeat is fantastic. And now I just sit here
- 41:53Speaker 1: and pray every day that everything goes smoothly and I
- 41:56Speaker 1: just deliver a healthy child in April.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Oh April, so probably be a tourist. Maybe tourists.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Which, by the way, the uh the birthstone for an
- 42:09Speaker 1: April baby is a diamond, So you know what I've
- 42:12Speaker 1: been asking for my push prizent diamonds. Oh really, of
- 42:17Speaker 1: course you don't have enough lace me this old thing,
- 42:22Speaker 1: this old thing, I don't think. I'm just kidding.
- 42:25Speaker 4: It's sweating.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Look, yeah, now that okay.
- 42:30Speaker 2: So I have a couple of questions because I know,
- 42:31Speaker 2: you know, in COVID we've all been doing different things
- 42:34Speaker 2: and you're normally wrapped with Vander pump by now onto
- 42:38Speaker 2: six other shows. But I saw on the trades you
- 42:41Speaker 2: had announced a new show that you're doing, so I'd
- 42:43Speaker 2: love to just hear a few things about what you
- 42:45Speaker 2: have going on New Dogs with Peacocks.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Well, there's just so much story there because every day
- 42:53Speaker 4: there's a different poignant story or heart. Well you know that, Lala,
- 42:57Speaker 4: You've been there, So it's gonna be show You're on
- 43:00Speaker 4: Peacock and it's it would be about all the individual
- 43:04Speaker 4: stories about the people, about the dogs and their past
- 43:08Speaker 4: and trying to you know, match the right dog with
- 43:10Speaker 4: the right person. And there's a lot of very interesting
- 43:14Speaker 4: people out there that you know, come to I mean,
- 43:16Speaker 4: you saw we've been involved with a bedroom program and
- 43:19Speaker 4: things like that training dogs. So I just think it
- 43:22Speaker 4: would be a beautiful show because having lived it, the
- 43:25Speaker 4: experience and being part of it and the incredible team
- 43:28Speaker 4: I have a band of pump dogs. I just think
- 43:31Speaker 4: there's just so many stories to tell. So yeah, I
- 43:34Speaker 4: think it was a natural kind of progression for us,
- 43:37Speaker 4: and it's it's very exciting.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I'm thrilled about this new show. I mean, you you
- 43:43Speaker 1: take anything vander Pump and already it turns to gold
- 43:47Speaker 1: and then you throw puppies and dogs in and I'm like, okay,
- 43:50Speaker 1: you got me hooked.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Yeah, well, it's a show that you and I would
- 43:54Speaker 4: definitely watch, La La of course, Yeah, because all those
- 43:58Speaker 4: stories and the things that we've seen over the years,
- 44:01Speaker 4: and I just think that, yeah, it's a feel good
- 44:04Speaker 4: Factor show. Of course, there's going to be some very
- 44:06Speaker 4: kind of you know moments. Sometimes it can be difficult
- 44:10Speaker 4: and rescue, of course. I mean some of the things
- 44:12Speaker 4: we've seen have been extraordinary the way people, you know,
- 44:16Speaker 4: have treated animals in the past. That that's what a
- 44:19Speaker 4: rescue center does and is and steps in. But very
- 44:24Speaker 4: a lot of feel good, feel good stories, and I'm
- 44:27Speaker 4: going to be happy to share that. I've been really
- 44:29Speaker 4: busy doing everything. I've just started my podcast Congratulations.
- 44:34Speaker 1: By the way, when does your first episode air? Do
- 44:36Speaker 1: you have an ear date?
- 44:37Speaker 4: I think it's going to be on the fourteenth September. Wow,
- 44:44Speaker 4: I know, yeah, yeah, it's it's an interesting time.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Lisa.
- 44:50Speaker 2: When do you because you're on the forefront of restaurants
- 44:52Speaker 2: in Los Angeles obviously you own a lot of restaurants
- 44:55Speaker 2: in Nevada here or whatever. When do you see the
- 45:00Speaker 2: world of restaurants coming back? I mean, do you see
- 45:02Speaker 2: it soon?
- 45:03Speaker 3: I know?
- 45:03Speaker 2: Outdoor eating is a very common thing, and that's where
- 45:06Speaker 2: I eat well.
- 45:07Speaker 4: I mean, we're lucky with the fact that when we
- 45:10Speaker 4: do decide to open, we have really good sized patios,
- 45:14Speaker 4: which is very unusual, like pump is almost you know,
- 45:17Speaker 4: it's like ninety percent garden Tom. Tom has two big
- 45:20Speaker 4: gardens and we'll be able to put the table and
- 45:23Speaker 4: chairs outside, and so has a great, you know, big
- 45:26Speaker 4: garden at the back, and we'll probably be able to
- 45:28Speaker 4: go out with the pavement as well. So we're very
- 45:31Speaker 4: fortunate with that. But we've just been waiting for it
- 45:34Speaker 4: to be safe, you know, really, and when I keep
- 45:36Speaker 4: seeing the numbers going up, I want every single person,
- 45:40Speaker 4: do not let this be political. Wear a mask. You know,
- 45:44Speaker 4: it's just like unless you're tested with my podcast, we
- 45:48Speaker 4: get tested, you know things. Put it all social distancing.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Just be responsible because you know, also Ken's older than me,
- 45:56Speaker 4: sixteen years old of me, so I'm very protective of him.
- 45:59Speaker 4: We know the city sticks get worse as you get older,
- 46:02Speaker 4: or health conditions. I mean he's very healthy. But you
- 46:05Speaker 4: know it's an utmost parity. I mean, I have been
- 46:07Speaker 4: very busy here. We're open in Vegas. That's you know,
- 46:13Speaker 4: kind of running probably. I mean it's running really well.
- 46:16Speaker 1: But don't tell Randall that he'll he'll fuel the jet
- 46:19Speaker 1: and we'll go there just dinner.
- 46:21Speaker 6: I mean, no, no, no, no, you stay there righta.
- 46:24Speaker 1: You be careful now, oh, no, I don't leave. I
- 46:27Speaker 1: don't leave my house, Lisa. It's a rare occasion that
- 46:30Speaker 1: I get out of the bed.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm very I'm very protective of her with COVID more
- 46:33Speaker 2: so than before. You know, we always wear masks, We're
- 46:36Speaker 2: always very conservative, and we're tested every week just because
- 46:40Speaker 2: of the business we're in. But now I tell her, like, Babe,
- 46:43Speaker 2: you must be like super hyper alert because I.
- 46:48Speaker 4: Know, even if I've seen friends, and I haven't seen
- 46:50Speaker 4: that many people at all, We've been very, very isolated
- 46:54Speaker 4: and keeping this whole place going because I'm on my
- 46:57Speaker 4: own here you can see. I mean, I do a
- 47:00Speaker 4: good job, but it's like it's a lot. Oh, I'm
- 47:03Speaker 4: sure things I've been doing. I mean, God, what was
- 47:07Speaker 4: I saying. I can't remember what I was saying.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Protecting ourselves I pump or Vanner pump Garden being open.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean vand Pump Garden is open, as I say,
- 47:17Speaker 4: But distance the thing is essential, and Caesars are doing
- 47:20Speaker 4: a really good job of that. I've got so many
- 47:22Speaker 4: other things that I need to start and things in
- 47:25Speaker 4: the pipeline that are exciting, so I just want to
- 47:29Speaker 4: get this over and done with. But you know, if
- 47:31Speaker 4: we just adhere to the guidelines and kind of you know,
- 47:35Speaker 4: stop kind of breaking the rules, I think it will
- 47:37Speaker 4: pass a lot quicker and hopefully a vaccine will be
- 47:40Speaker 4: around the corner.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Well, I'm very grateful.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I looked at the numbers today, like LA is now
- 47:44Speaker 2: going down, down, down, down, So I just hope that
- 47:47Speaker 2: we continue that trend and not go crazy and open
- 47:50Speaker 2: everything up right away, like let's see.
- 47:52Speaker 4: You know, I'm very cognizant of you know, so many
- 47:56Speaker 4: people that work for us, work for us for years.
- 47:59Speaker 4: I want to make sure every everybody's safe. You know,
- 48:01Speaker 4: it's not just about the customers and saying, oh if
- 48:03Speaker 4: we're all safe and everything and where it's about the
- 48:05Speaker 4: people that work for us, you know, really like they've
- 48:08Speaker 4: put themselves. So we've just been kind of waiting, you know,
- 48:12Speaker 4: really just watching it and we want to see the
- 48:15Speaker 4: numbers kind of really slide down because it kind of
- 48:18Speaker 4: had a bit of a spike and were about to
- 48:21Speaker 4: open and then we think, you know, so I think soon.
- 48:25Speaker 4: I think New York is looking in really good shape
- 48:28Speaker 4: in terms of the virus, not with everything.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Else and also Florida, which was really bad. My mother
- 48:33Speaker 2: just called me and told me they've opened restaurant side,
- 48:37Speaker 2: so they've gone down.
- 48:39Speaker 4: I think they were getting something like two thousand a
- 48:42Speaker 4: day now compared to only a few weeks ago. They're
- 48:44Speaker 4: getting twelve exactly. Yeah, and UK is getting back to normal.
- 48:49Speaker 4: I just think soon. But I uh, it's been it's
- 48:54Speaker 4: been tough. I mean, having a business close for this long,
- 48:58Speaker 4: you know, it's not just as I said in the reunion,
- 49:01Speaker 4: it's not just a job. It's our life, bro. So
- 49:04Speaker 4: just being kind of inside and I'm so lucky because
- 49:07Speaker 4: if I was going to be anywhere, it would be
- 49:08Speaker 4: exactly in this house. It's been amazing, you know, with
- 49:11Speaker 4: the view and everything, even though it's been a lot
- 49:14Speaker 4: to keep going. But I just want to get everybody
- 49:17Speaker 4: back to work, you know. I think everybody wants to
- 49:19Speaker 4: get back to work. It's the malaise of being at
- 49:21Speaker 4: home boredom, you know. Yeah, yea.
- 49:23Speaker 2: And people don't realize the stress because obviously I'm a
- 49:26Speaker 2: business owner too.
- 49:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just you're.
- 49:28Speaker 4: Still going to pay the rents and insurance.
- 49:30Speaker 2: You've got to pay your It's brutal, crazy.
- 49:34Speaker 3: It's brutal. So I'm very fortunate.
- 49:36Speaker 2: We're just getting back to work right now, and I'm saying,
- 49:39Speaker 2: people like the appreciation the crew of the movie that
- 49:42Speaker 2: I'm shooting right now, that the level of appreciation I
- 49:45Speaker 2: think people have today, and I think in your world
- 49:48Speaker 2: as they come back, it's going to be you're never
- 49:50Speaker 2: going to take for granted going to work again.
- 49:53Speaker 3: At least I will.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Never complain about traffic or or going away. I'm not
- 49:57Speaker 2: saying just you know, it's the appreciation.
- 50:00Speaker 4: Well, I think if we also understand that you look
- 50:04Speaker 4: at what kind of are my parents, what they went
- 50:07Speaker 4: through in their generation, you know, in the Second World
- 50:11Speaker 4: War and what they had to go through and being
- 50:13Speaker 4: evacuated and the houses bombed and kind of or other
- 50:17Speaker 4: pandemics when thirty million people have died or you know,
- 50:21Speaker 4: it's it's I think, if we can get through this
- 50:25Speaker 4: and this is the worst thing that we have to
- 50:27Speaker 4: do with, certainly the worst thing that I've had to
- 50:29Speaker 4: deal with in my lifetime. Of course, we saw the
- 50:33Speaker 4: horrors of nine to eleven over here. I lived in
- 50:35Speaker 4: Europe at the time, and we've seen you know, I
- 50:37Speaker 4: grew up with kind of terrorism and things, you know,
- 50:41Speaker 4: in the UK, but seeing on this global this global
- 50:45Speaker 4: pandemic has been really devastating. You know. Yeah, I think
- 50:50Speaker 4: it's made a lot of people, given a lot of
- 50:53Speaker 4: people time for reflection of what's important. And you know,
- 50:57Speaker 4: another thing, having lost my brother to suicide and being
- 51:00Speaker 4: an advocate, you know, for the kind of for the
- 51:03Speaker 4: Trevor Project, I really want to encourage people. If anybody's
- 51:07Speaker 4: of course, somebody's listening to I feel like it's just
- 51:11Speaker 4: the three of us having an intimate conversation. You know,
- 51:14Speaker 4: They've got to reach out, you know, because having lost
- 51:18Speaker 4: my brother and you think, my god, you know, there
- 51:21Speaker 4: are so many people. Mental health is so kind of
- 51:25Speaker 4: prevalent right now, people not knowing what to do, and
- 51:28Speaker 4: you've got to reach out. There are people Trevor Project
- 51:31Speaker 4: or suicide hotlines, you know, reach out to people, do
- 51:35Speaker 4: FaceTime with people.
- 51:36Speaker 3: What is a number of the Trevor Project? Is there
- 51:38Speaker 3: a number?
- 51:39Speaker 4: I don't know of quite heart, It's on my Instagram.
- 51:41Speaker 4: I just did another PSA for them, but you know, yeah,
- 51:44Speaker 4: it's really really I never thought it would affect my life,
- 51:48Speaker 4: but yeah, I've just been an advocate for them, and
- 51:51Speaker 4: I just think, you know, this with the homeless as well,
- 51:53Speaker 4: being such an advocate. But you know, it's difficult times
- 51:57Speaker 4: for people. So I said, everybody who's listening watching all
- 52:01Speaker 4: my love, you know, I want everybody and you, guys,
- 52:04Speaker 4: I'm so happy for you. I always said you make
- 52:06Speaker 4: a great couple.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Oh thank you for being such a beautiful part of
- 52:13Speaker 1: our life. We love you so much.

- 52:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and just please reach out, call somebody, call Suitside Prevention.

- 52:43Speaker 4: Through it because this will pass. You have to always
- 52:46Speaker 4: remember there is light at the end of the chunnel.
- 52:49Speaker 4: That's one thing, you know. It was very difficult for
- 52:51Speaker 4: me to focus on when I asked my brother, You've
- 52:53Speaker 4: got to look at that light at the end of
- 52:55Speaker 4: the chunnel, and we've got to kind of walk towards it,
- 52:58Speaker 4: march towards it.
- 53:01Speaker 1: We love Lisa than.
- 53:03Speaker 4: When you said you had some news. This was the news.
- 53:05Speaker 3: I was hoping.

- 53:10Speaker 1: We'll talk soon, okay.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Lots of love to both of you, okay, and let's

- 53:17Speaker 3: All right, Well that was that was awesome. I mean,
- 53:21Speaker 3: you know it was.
- 53:22Speaker 1: It's still very so real, and I just want to
