- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn. Say,
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hester and Hester got it fart a pat from.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Carrying each other to and natty to carrying each other
- 0:11Speaker 2: on the.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Air well, there's prop control the live from the Raising
- 0:18Speaker 1: Kine studio. It's off the bench, all right.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Welcome back in OTV our number three Tuesday at nine am.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You know we're gonna catch up with our guy Nick Underhill,
- 0:53Speaker 3: New Orleans Dot Football joined us now, Nicholas.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Always a pleasure, sir.
- 0:57Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 0:59Speaker 5: I got a question, who do you think did more?
- 1:02Speaker 5: Like if we're talking weight distribution on the carrying to
- 1:04Speaker 5: a natty and the carrying on the Eric, like, who
- 1:07Speaker 5: do you think who do you think is carrying more
- 1:10Speaker 5: weight on both of those things?
- 1:11Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Well, so I ran the football and I protected this
- 1:16Speaker 3: dork to my lefts blindside. Oftentimes you know they sent
- 1:19Speaker 3: me to the left to make sure because you know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: he wasn't really good at reading blitzes and different things.
- 1:24Speaker 4: So I don't know.
- 1:25Speaker 7: Our radio I would say ninety percent. Jake on the
- 1:30Speaker 7: field probably.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Nine me for sure.
- 1:38Speaker 3: It's a good question, though, it's a solid question. I
- 1:41Speaker 3: get why you asked it, I get what ye.
- 1:43Speaker 5: People need to know.
- 1:44Speaker 4: People really did need to know.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I get you know, they probably wouldn't you know,
- 1:49Speaker 3: if they heard some of the things that we said
- 1:51Speaker 3: in the huddle being slappies, they probably wouldn't believe it.
- 1:53Speaker 7: But yeah, we had a good time. Sure, Yeah we
- 1:56Speaker 7: carried each other. Yeah, but no one wanted to hear
- 1:59Speaker 7: this show without jakept for too long.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Not for too long.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Uh well, I mean we're gonna see all right, we'll
- 2:07Speaker 3: see here we go training camp and.
- 2:09Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, Jake's gonna be gone like most of training camp.
- 2:12Speaker 4: I think that's okay. Sorry, I'll be in New Orleans.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It's gonna be one of the training camps I'll be
- 2:16Speaker 3: at and looking forward to that and some of the
- 2:19Speaker 3: things coming out for the New Orleans Saints is I
- 2:22Speaker 3: guess we kind of knew it, but like when you
- 2:24Speaker 3: get confirmation and it was like Cam Jordan's got a contract,
- 2:27Speaker 3: Taysom Hill does not like.
- 2:28Speaker 4: I guess that's no surprise.
- 2:30Speaker 3: But Nick, I've been talking about this over on NFL
- 2:33Speaker 3: radio like a ton It's like, Okay, Cam Jordan had
- 2:36Speaker 3: ten and a half sacks and there's a lot of
- 2:39Speaker 3: teams out there that could add an Edge Rusher.
- 2:41Speaker 4: How is he still a free agent?
- 2:44Speaker 5: Super weird man like, cause I don't even think his
- 2:47Speaker 5: ask is incredibly high. I think he's probably looking for
- 2:51Speaker 5: a contract that's about what he got paid out last year,
- 2:54Speaker 5: except you take out the the the bonuses and you
- 2:58Speaker 5: just put it in actual writing and that's the contract
- 3:00Speaker 5: instead of being six million dollars or whatever it is. Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 5: I don't know, man like, that list of available free
- 3:07Speaker 5: agents right now still has some names too, Like, there's
- 3:11Speaker 5: some guys out there that are that are lingering. But
- 3:13Speaker 5: you would have thought that Kim Got would have got
- 3:15Speaker 5: picked up by now. And I would bet that there's
- 3:17Speaker 5: a little bit of, Hey, I want to come back,
- 3:20Speaker 5: and you know, I'm looking for the offer from the
- 3:22Speaker 5: Saints to come back here. I want to finish my
- 3:24Speaker 5: career here. But if someone was blowing him away with
- 3:27Speaker 5: the with the number, I think it would already be done.
- 3:29Speaker 5: So yeah, look, I think maybe that that ten and
- 3:32Speaker 5: a half, you know, I maybe he just doesn't break
- 3:36Speaker 5: down in the same way that that that number usually
- 3:38Speaker 5: does when when you look at it. But it's crazy
- 3:41Speaker 5: to me that he's still out there. Taste some that
- 3:44Speaker 5: that one makes sense. I didn't expect him really to
- 3:46Speaker 5: be back. His house is for sale right now, Like
- 3:49Speaker 5: I you know, I think all the signs are pointing
- 3:51Speaker 5: toward that one being over, and you know, you never
- 3:54Speaker 5: closed the door on it. Like I could see maybe
- 3:56Speaker 5: if he doesn't get an offer, you know, August first, hey,
- 3:59Speaker 5: I'll come back and play for the minimument and you
- 4:01Speaker 5: put them in like a goal line type role when
- 4:03Speaker 5: Jimmy Graham, Like when Jimmy Graham came back and he
- 4:05Speaker 5: only played from like the two yard line in or
- 4:07Speaker 5: something like that. I could see value being there, but
- 4:09Speaker 5: I don't think they're in a place where they're gonna
- 4:11Speaker 5: pay for it. And like, honestly, we were talking about
- 4:13Speaker 5: it all last year that that portion of the offense
- 4:15Speaker 5: just didn't really feel like it fit in anymore once
- 4:17Speaker 5: they started finding their identity. So that one kind of
- 4:21Speaker 5: makes sense to me. You know, I would have thought
- 4:25Speaker 5: Denver might have swooped him by now Chicago. I've heard Buffalo,
- 4:31Speaker 5: I've heard Buffalo Pete Carmichael, Like he really liked playing
- 4:34Speaker 5: for Pete, Like people have speculated that could be a spot,
- 4:37Speaker 5: but he could also still just retire too. I mean,
- 4:40Speaker 5: like that there's been a lot of injuries, a lot
- 4:41Speaker 5: of mileage. So yeah, yeah, both of those not a surprise.
- 4:46Speaker 5: The thing that surprised me yesterday was, you know, just
- 4:48Speaker 5: kind of the way he came out and talked about
- 4:50Speaker 5: Alvin Kamara. That was a little bit surprising.
- 4:53Speaker 7: H Nick, Let's go back to Camp Jordan. You said
- 4:56Speaker 7: you kind of alluded to it there, and I'm wondering
- 4:59Speaker 7: if you know, not all sacked is the same, right,
- 5:02Speaker 7: there's some sacks that are ultra impressive. There's some sacks
- 5:05Speaker 7: that are you know, kind of oh look what I found.
- 5:07Speaker 7: I found a quarterback in my lap whatever. He gets
- 5:09Speaker 7: ten and a half sex by Cam Jordan. Like you've
- 5:11Speaker 7: watched the film, probably most than or more than most,
- 5:15Speaker 7: Like there's a stats portion of the thing and there's
- 5:19Speaker 7: a level of play. Do you see the level of
- 5:21Speaker 7: play that's still there as a Cam Jordan's passed. I know,
- 5:24Speaker 7: you get like things fall off and there's things that
- 5:27Speaker 7: might be a little slower and quicker, but tendn't have
- 5:29Speaker 7: sex is not a flute. Now, every single one of
- 5:31Speaker 7: those might not have been like the most impressive like
- 5:34Speaker 7: spin move or rip and dip or whatever it was,
- 5:36Speaker 7: but like breakdown his just level of play that you've
- 5:40Speaker 7: seen from him last year.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yeah, like the pressure rates and not maybe aren't normally
- 5:46Speaker 5: like exactly what you would see from Tyle. Like what
- 5:49Speaker 5: Cam would have had in twenty fourteen is a ten
- 5:52Speaker 5: and a half sack season. Isn't what it looks like
- 5:54Speaker 5: in you know, twenty twenty five obviously, But I think
- 5:56Speaker 5: he does a good job of taking advantage of his situations.
- 6:00Speaker 5: You know, I think esthetically, when you look at it,
- 6:03Speaker 5: it probably plays more like a six sack looking season,
- 6:07Speaker 5: and you know, there's some opportunities that are taking advantage of.
- 6:09Speaker 5: But that's also being older and wiser and smarter and
- 6:13Speaker 5: instinctive and making things happen in ways that maybe he
- 6:16Speaker 5: wouldn't of in twenty fourteen by by just being able
- 6:19Speaker 5: to read the field and no tendencies and just seeing
- 6:21Speaker 5: a whole lot of football. So man, like the value there,
- 6:26Speaker 5: I would easily pay him and bring him back. I
- 6:29Speaker 5: think you're just a better team with him, I don't,
- 6:31Speaker 5: you know. My understanding of what that is and what
- 6:33Speaker 5: he's asking for is actually what it is and what
- 6:36Speaker 5: he's asking for, I just pay it, Like, I think
- 6:38Speaker 5: they are a better team with them than without him.
- 6:41Speaker 5: It's interesting though, like they've built this thing out to
- 6:44Speaker 5: a point where it's kind of hard to see where
- 6:45Speaker 5: everybody gets snaps, Like if you bring Cam back and
- 6:47Speaker 5: you put him with Chase Young and Carl Granderson and
- 6:51Speaker 5: you know, Tyree Wilson and Jennings, like who isn't playing
- 6:56Speaker 5: that you have just added to your team, Because if
- 6:58Speaker 5: you bring Cam back, you're taking one of those guys
- 7:00Speaker 5: off the field, and you picked one of them. It's
- 7:03Speaker 5: it's gonna be fascinating to me to see. I still
- 7:06Speaker 5: think he ends up coming back, Like I feel like
- 7:08Speaker 5: if that offer was out there, he'd take it. But
- 7:10Speaker 5: it could get to a point where he just says,
- 7:11Speaker 5: you know what, if these people, I'll take the same
- 7:14Speaker 5: amount of money or less and go somewhere else because
- 7:16Speaker 5: now I feel disrespected.
- 7:17Speaker 4: But how far away do you think they are?
- 7:20Speaker 3: Like if you had like and I know you got
- 7:21Speaker 3: an idea, but like, is it a is it a
- 7:24Speaker 3: large gap? Is it a small gap? Like do you
- 7:26Speaker 3: think both sides kind of need to give in a
- 7:28Speaker 3: little bit.
- 7:29Speaker 5: I would guess it's probably like within four million bucks
- 7:33Speaker 5: something like that. I would guess the Saints or at
- 7:35Speaker 5: six and Cams at ten. You know some something in
- 7:38Speaker 5: that range, give or take a little bit, doesn't you
- 7:41Speaker 5: know when it's forty percent, you know, that's a difference,
- 7:44Speaker 5: that's a that's a big difference. But I would easily
- 7:47Speaker 5: pay Cam. I don't know, like meet in the medal,
- 7:49Speaker 5: like if you're at six out of ten, like why
- 7:51Speaker 5: can't you get to eight point five? And you know,
- 7:53Speaker 5: maybe you do a million and a half in incentives
- 7:56Speaker 5: instead of four million dollars in incentives, and you know
- 7:59Speaker 5: that there has to be a compromising like that isn't
- 8:02Speaker 5: a golf of difference there, you know, And I know
- 8:05Speaker 5: Cam just it's probably not even about the money, So
- 8:08Speaker 5: it's probably about what it represents at this point, Like, hey, look,
- 8:10Speaker 5: I've been here forever. I took a pay cut last year.
- 8:13Speaker 5: I turned this money into a signups ironed it back.
- 8:16Speaker 5: So I took care of you last year. I you know,
- 8:18Speaker 5: kind of shoved it in your face like now you've
- 8:20Speaker 5: got to take care of me the right way. Like
- 8:22Speaker 5: I totally get the point of view, you know. I
- 8:25Speaker 5: I just hope he gets to end it here, like
- 8:27Speaker 5: that's a story that that started here, it should finish here.
- 8:30Speaker 5: He's as synonymous with a franchise as anybody, and he
- 8:33Speaker 5: had a ton and a half sacks. Like it's not
- 8:35Speaker 5: like doing it right, It's not like you're doing a
- 8:37Speaker 5: sentimental yeah, like just I don't know, pay him figure
- 8:41Speaker 5: it out.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I'm right there with you.
- 8:44Speaker 3: And I mean again, I think there's some teams that
- 8:47Speaker 3: like edge rushers and receivers.
- 8:49Speaker 4: You still have some.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Guys that were productive a year ago that are still
- 8:52Speaker 3: out there on the open market. So it's not like
- 8:55Speaker 3: Cam's the only one out there, but I am surprised
- 8:57Speaker 3: that he is out there. And you know, we kind
- 8:59Speaker 3: of go to the team teams that have Saints ties
- 9:01Speaker 3: and like like for me, like Dennis Allen being in Chicago,
- 9:04Speaker 3: like all these guys are like an option to go there.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Sean Payton and his history all over an option to
- 9:09Speaker 3: go to Denver. I mean, Sean has shown he will
- 9:11Speaker 3: take a former Saint and add them to Denver. Like
- 9:13Speaker 3: I guess I'm as surprised that one of those teams
- 9:16Speaker 3: haven't made the move to bring in Camp.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Me too, I thought I would have got dumb by now,
- 9:22Speaker 5: like someone you just I don't know, like who he is,
- 9:24Speaker 5: who he is in the locker room, all that stuff,
- 9:26Speaker 5: like you did have just figured it got it would
- 9:27Speaker 5: have got dumb by now. I do think there's probably
- 9:29Speaker 5: an element of like him waiting. I like, I would
- 9:32Speaker 5: assume there's some type of market there. There has to
- 9:34Speaker 5: be some type of market there. I assume some of
- 9:37Speaker 5: it's him trying to to wait and see what it is.
- 9:40Speaker 5: I doubt anyone's offered him enough to like jump out
- 9:42Speaker 5: and leave. And I also think, you know, it's weird
- 9:45Speaker 5: because a lot of guys like to skip OTAs once
- 9:48Speaker 5: they get to a certain point in their career, skip
- 9:50Speaker 5: mini camp, right, Like that's the guy that actually loves practice,
- 9:53Speaker 5: Like he's missed like four practices his whole career, Like
- 9:56Speaker 5: you know, so like I don't even think it's a
- 9:57Speaker 5: well I'm gonna wait and just take a long vaca.
- 10:00Speaker 5: I think Cam actually enjoys the process and some people
- 10:04Speaker 5: fake that. I don't think he's the guy that fakes it,
- 10:06Speaker 5: Like you can't go out there and it's ninety eight
- 10:07Speaker 5: degrees and be like dancing when you're thirty five years
- 10:10Speaker 5: old and be eager, like at a certain point that
- 10:13Speaker 5: melts away under that metterie sun and like it just
- 10:16Speaker 5: never has for him.
- 10:19Speaker 4: You kind of mentioned the.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Like what was said recently about Alec Kamara, Like how
- 10:25Speaker 7: do you see that whole thing playing out this year
- 10:27Speaker 7: with mister Alvin Kamara.
- 10:29Speaker 5: That was the most shocking thing yesterday to me is
- 10:32Speaker 5: that like Loomis came out and said that they haven't
- 10:36Speaker 5: made offers to him, they haven't really talked about his situation,
- 10:39Speaker 5: and there's a financial aspect of it that that has
- 10:42Speaker 5: to be figured out, which you know it there's a
- 10:47Speaker 5: lot of speculating about what's going on, like he just announced,
- 10:51Speaker 5: you know, like there's no more respect, Like he's letting
- 10:53Speaker 5: people know like it's May nineteenth now, and nobody's talked
- 10:57Speaker 5: to him about his contract, Like where's at but they
- 11:00Speaker 5: but they've decided they aren't going to pay him, but
- 11:01Speaker 5: they haven't started negotiating. Very weird situation. Like usually a
- 11:05Speaker 5: guy that's you know, that far into his career that
- 11:08Speaker 5: is the franchise leader and you know all the important
- 11:10Speaker 5: Russian categories. Usually these things get figured out in February
- 11:15Speaker 5: and then you get the post June first cut or whatever,
- 11:17Speaker 5: and you know that's kind of the hey, look, we
- 11:19Speaker 5: can't afford to pay you but like, we're gonna let
- 11:21Speaker 5: you go out and figure it out. All of this
- 11:23Speaker 5: has been incredibly weird, from the way that they restructured
- 11:26Speaker 5: his contract with that obscure role to where they didn't
- 11:29Speaker 5: have to guarantee that money, you know, that kind of
- 11:31Speaker 5: put a will open the offers, you know, ring around
- 11:34Speaker 5: his neck kind of like hey, look we're open to
- 11:37Speaker 5: anything here, and then him announcing this is just it
- 11:42Speaker 5: just strikes me as very odd, Like it's just a
- 11:44Speaker 5: very odd way to handle a situation like this. Guys
- 11:47Speaker 5: get cut all the time for you know, financial reasons,
- 11:50Speaker 5: but the way this is playing out feels incredibly, incredibly
- 11:55Speaker 5: different to me than we've seen these things play out
- 11:58Speaker 5: other times. Maybe he ends up back, but I mean,
- 12:00Speaker 5: I think it's very clear that they're at least okay
- 12:03Speaker 5: with the possibility of him not being part of this team,
- 12:05Speaker 5: because if it was a priority to figure out a
- 12:07Speaker 5: pay cut and everything, you would have started talking about
- 12:09Speaker 5: it at some point and it wouldn't just be lingering
- 12:11Speaker 5: and you wouldn't just be leaving a guy in limbo.
- 12:14Speaker 5: So they're very clearly telling us I think like, however
- 12:18Speaker 5: this plays out, we're okay with it, and look all
- 12:20Speaker 5: their actions to like they signed a running back to
- 12:22Speaker 5: a big deal. You know, it's only weird if you
- 12:25Speaker 5: look at it to the lens of like, oh my god,
- 12:27Speaker 5: how could they let him go? But they're very clearly
- 12:29Speaker 5: not looking at it that way. I think they'd be
- 12:31Speaker 5: fine having them back, but I don't think they're operating
- 12:33Speaker 5: as if they have to have them back.
- 12:35Speaker 3: You know, it is, you know, a new time in
- 12:39Speaker 3: New Orleans. You got a new coaching staff there. But
- 12:42Speaker 3: like you're starting to see like, if there's no Cam Jordan,
- 12:46Speaker 3: if there's no Ak, there's no Taysom Hill. Like you're
- 12:49Speaker 3: kind of seeing the last remnants of what Sean Payton
- 12:52Speaker 3: and Drew Brees and that whole regime kind of built.
- 12:55Speaker 3: And it feels like these are the final days of
- 12:58Speaker 3: that great run that the Saints had and it's about
- 13:00Speaker 3: to completely be something brand new.
- 13:03Speaker 5: If Ak isn't on this team and they don't re
- 13:06Speaker 5: sign Camera tayst from, the last remaining guy with the
- 13:09Speaker 5: link to Drew Brees or Sean Payton would be long
- 13:11Speaker 5: snappers Akwood, which is just kind of crazy to think about.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, which long snappers are people too? Yeah? Yes, usually
- 13:21Speaker 4: farmer fullbacks, our tight ends. You're right, you are right
- 13:25Speaker 4: about that.
- 13:27Speaker 3: All right. There he is our guy, Nick Underhill, New
- 13:29Speaker 3: Orleans stuff football, good enough to join us here on
- 13:31Speaker 3: OTV every single Tuesday morning at nine am.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Nick.
- 13:34Speaker 3: We always appreciate the time, brother.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Yeah, more than ten percent, man, I'm giving you more
- 13:40Speaker 5: credit than ten percent. Man, got to stop talking about
- 13:42Speaker 5: yourself like that.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I'll take fifteen. I appreciate that. Nick. Let's let's don't
- 13:47Speaker 4: get agreed. Just here.
- 13:48Speaker 5: We appreciating it, all right, guys, take it easy too.
- 13:54Speaker 4: That was nice though he was lying, but it was
- 13:57Speaker 4: very nice.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Though.
- 13:57Speaker 4: That was nice.
- 13:58Speaker 6: I mean sometimes got a white lie. Yeah we did there.
- 14:04Speaker 6: It is gonna be odd to think about the Saints.
- 14:06Speaker 6: If it is no Cam, no Ak, no Taysom.
- 14:10Speaker 8: It's not even the Saints anymore full rebuilding.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Yeah, it's it's the end of the Paidon era, like
- 14:15Speaker 9: for good. Oh yeah, true, that's it. Those are the
- 14:17Speaker 9: hold those are the three holdovers.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And look for you know, for Taysom, like Taysom is
- 14:23Speaker 3: like always done whatever you've asked him to do.
- 14:26Speaker 4: And he's he's he's gonna have a fantasy game.
- 14:29Speaker 3: He's gonna have one of those games where he has
- 14:31Speaker 3: like forty five Fantasy points and but like I get it,
- 14:33Speaker 3: like you're moving in a different direction with the offense
- 14:35Speaker 3: and then with ak kind of same thing as running back.
- 14:37Speaker 3: When you get to thirty, you're basically eighty in the NFL.
- 14:40Speaker 3: But Cam was productive last year. So of those three players,
- 14:44Speaker 3: it does feel like Cam Jordan has the best.
- 14:46Speaker 7: I was kind of wondering from Nick's point of view, Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 7: you can be productive on the stats, but do you
- 14:51Speaker 7: fit within the office, how do you fit within the
- 14:53Speaker 7: defense of the offense?
- 14:54Speaker 4: And how well did you actually play?
- 14:56Speaker 7: I mean, you know, we've you saw those guys that
- 15:00Speaker 7: we're on teams or in the NFL that would have
- 15:02Speaker 7: like a three sack game and you're like that guy, Yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 7: that guy had three sacks in a football game, right,
- 15:08Speaker 7: like in the NFL. But like Cam Jordan's obviously doesn't
- 15:13Speaker 7: fall into that category. But did he have his fastball
- 15:17Speaker 7: last year even though he had the sacks?
- 15:18Speaker 4: Was there? You know? Was it a little bit inflated?
- 15:21Speaker 4: And no, that that's the answer the question.
- 15:23Speaker 7: And I I, you know, I stand with, like what
- 15:26Speaker 7: exactly what he's trying to do? I took a pay
- 15:28Speaker 7: cut last year, I've been like the model citizen, and
- 15:33Speaker 7: this team.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Is in the field, off the field, in the community,
- 15:35Speaker 4: all those things.
- 15:36Speaker 7: This one makes too much sense not to do. I
- 15:39Speaker 7: don't understand the Kamara stuff either, but the Cam Jordan
- 15:42Speaker 7: thing just makes too much sense. Just keep it simple.
- 15:47Speaker 3: And again, like the important thing to point out here,
- 15:51Speaker 3: this is not a sympathy play. It's just not because
- 15:57Speaker 3: of what he did last year. What he can do
- 16:00Speaker 3: for you still in the locker room too, Like that's
- 16:02Speaker 3: the added bonus. Ten and a half sex is ten
- 16:04Speaker 3: and a half sex. I don't care how you got him.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I don't care if it was Michael Strahan and Brett
- 16:09Speaker 3: fav and he fell down.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I really just don't care.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Ten and a half in the NFL is ten and
- 16:13Speaker 3: a half.
- 16:14Speaker 4: He got care a little bit.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that was kind of bush leag, but
- 16:16Speaker 3: you know what I mean. He led your team like
- 16:19Speaker 3: Chase Young, who were all excited about had ten. He
- 16:21Speaker 3: had ten and a half. Give him two more million dollars.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You've got look for the first time since Jesus was
- 16:28Speaker 3: a boy, You've got the cap space to do so.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Right now you have eight point two million in cap space.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Make it, make it work, figure it out, do it.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Anything is too extra million for your leader, Yeah, don't trade.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Don't trade for a guy that was a top seven
- 16:44Speaker 3: pick that's not Cam Jordan and I try to think
- 16:47Speaker 3: that that's going to be the same.
- 16:48Speaker 7: So and the other thing about it is like it's
- 16:51Speaker 7: too like meet in the middle. It's two extra million
- 16:53Speaker 7: dollars for your leader after you've all you've lost Maria Davis,
- 16:57Speaker 7: your other leader.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Like that.
- 16:59Speaker 7: The young guys there need something, yeah, like some sort
- 17:03Speaker 7: of pillar, like a veteran pillar.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And look, I understand you in the chat they're saying
- 17:08Speaker 3: like the market's just not there. He's finding that out.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I hear what you're saying. But you also have to
- 17:15Speaker 3: go take a look. If you're gonna say, if that's
- 17:16Speaker 3: gonna be your argument, you gotta go take a look
- 17:18Speaker 3: at the totality of the edge rushers that are still available.
- 17:21Speaker 3: There's multiple guys that had nine eight, eight and a
- 17:27Speaker 3: half sacks last year that are still on the market.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So for whatever reason, there's receivers and there's edge rushers
- 17:33Speaker 3: that were very productive a year ago that are still
- 17:35Speaker 3: on the market, like Clowney had sacks last year.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Von Miller. I think vonn had nine last year.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Joey Bosa is still on the open market, Leonard Floyd
- 17:47Speaker 3: still on the open market. Like cal Van Neid didn't
- 17:50Speaker 3: have the big year last year. I think he only
- 17:53Speaker 3: had two and a half last year, but you go
- 17:54Speaker 3: back and he was double digit the year before.
- 17:56Speaker 4: So like typically.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Those guys in the middle of may have already signed
- 18:01Speaker 3: veteran guys who have you know, had some really good
- 18:04Speaker 3: seasons in the last two years or so, good locker
- 18:07Speaker 3: room guys, and they're all available right now. So for
- 18:09Speaker 3: whatever reason, there just hasn't been a run on edge
- 18:12Speaker 3: rushers and maybe they're waiting to see maybe it's post
- 18:15Speaker 3: June one, maybe it's in training camp. We'll sign a
- 18:17Speaker 3: guy when somebody gets hurt. But there's guys that were
- 18:20Speaker 3: productive last year, not just big names, that are still available.
- 18:23Speaker 4: So interesting, and I don't know why.
- 18:28Speaker 7: I guess everybody's just in wait and see mode, right
- 18:31Speaker 7: like wait and see how young guys are going to look,
- 18:34Speaker 7: wait and see where the injuries occur. That doesn't make
- 18:38Speaker 7: sense because if there's edge rushers that are productive in
- 18:42Speaker 7: the NFL, they usually have a roster spot somewhere yep,
- 18:47Speaker 7: So I don't know, it doesn't make any sense.
- 18:50Speaker 4: All right, we will take a break.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I always appreciate Nick for joining us more OTB when
- 18:56Speaker 3: we come back here live from the Raising King Studio.

- 19:13Speaker 3: all the bells, all the whistles, all of that's.

- 19:24Speaker 3: and don't just think that there's you know, nothing else
- 19:26Speaker 3: that you can add to your dream because you've been

- 19:30Speaker 3: something like there's gonna be something that intrigues you.

- 19:35Speaker 7: All right, Russell Pools, Like I'm the name you think

- 19:43Speaker 7: in mind, kind of like the Flint family. You've been
- 19:46Speaker 7: thinking about a pool. You got these young kids are

- 19:50Speaker 7: everybody comes to, and you want that pool. We'll start
- 19:52Speaker 7: the conversation today with Russell Pool's Chris Anderson and the
- 19:55Speaker 7: gang of their doing it incredible work from design to build,
- 19:58Speaker 7: to maintain.
- 19:59Speaker 4: It's right that Russell.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Pools off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn,
- 20:24Speaker 2: presented by Community Steel.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Huh, welcome back, Bud, and you're waiting on you to
- 20:51Speaker 3: have Radio Magic.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Ah, that's a short commercial.
- 20:54Speaker 10: I mean you carry fifteen percent of this show.
- 20:56Speaker 11: Not only that.
- 20:57Speaker 9: You pick the rejoint and you're like, you guys, listen
- 20:59Speaker 9: to it. I don't want to hear it.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Rush.
- 21:03Speaker 7: It's called Russian Seattle and Lacy and we were that's awesome.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Okay, but so you saw Rush. I said, Gordy, that's
- 21:18Speaker 3: Gordy's last name. You probably don't even know that.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Knowing you.
- 21:22Speaker 11: Probably there's like, who's going.
- 21:28Speaker 4: You're talking about Guaranty. Yes, yes, we are.
- 21:34Speaker 10: The VP of Guarany.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Actually yeah, that is actually it. Anyway, it's a great concert.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Linge tte l s U Basketball is listening to the show. Obviously,
- 21:49Speaker 3: we've got another new player who's also got ties to
- 21:53Speaker 3: the NBA, not.
- 21:54Speaker 11: A euro League, guy league.
- 21:56Speaker 12: R J.
- 21:57Speaker 10: Lewis.
- 21:59Speaker 4: It was the biggest player of the year a couple
- 22:00Speaker 4: of years. Yeah, twenty five, John's five.
- 22:03Speaker 11: That was when they were the two seed five.
- 22:06Speaker 9: Yeah, okay, ap big eiast player of the year eighteen
- 22:10Speaker 9: points a game.
- 22:12Speaker 10: Is he eligible? Unsure?
- 22:13Speaker 11: So that's that's that's the problem.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Really, we're gonna love this American.
- 22:18Speaker 9: This according to Johnny Sports a big right up on him.
- 22:22Speaker 9: He signed a two way contract in twenty twenty five,
- 22:26Speaker 9: appeared in the with the Jazz before being traded to
- 22:29Speaker 9: the Celtics, played in the G League, has never played
- 22:34Speaker 9: in an NBA game.
- 22:35Speaker 11: As far as this article says, he.
- 22:38Speaker 9: Is not currently eligible to play at the college level.
- 22:42Speaker 9: According to Pete Knakas Lewis or Luis how you say it,
- 22:46Speaker 9: is not currently considered eligible to play at the college level,
- 22:49Speaker 9: but will likely file a lawsuit and attempt to receive eligibility.
- 22:55Speaker 9: It mentions that multiple former professional players had done this.
- 22:58Speaker 9: Charles Mediaka last year Alabama filed this temporary in junction.
- 23:02Speaker 11: He was able to play. However, remember that was overturned
- 23:06Speaker 11: pretty quickly.
- 23:06Speaker 9: He only appeared in five games last year for Alabama
- 23:09Speaker 9: before later being ruled ineligible. So you might have a guy,
- 23:14Speaker 9: you might not have a guy. We'll see what happens
- 23:17Speaker 9: if he does ultimately follow the lawsuit. Like Pete Nkill suggests,
- 23:20Speaker 9: all right, okay.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I mean the obvious. If it works out in LSU's favor,
- 23:26Speaker 3: he's a dog.
- 23:27Speaker 11: Yeah, great player.
- 23:28Speaker 8: Well but again, just like very unconventional way of recruiting
- 23:32Speaker 8: in the off season.
- 23:33Speaker 7: Well like when this happened with Alabama, we made fun
- 23:36Speaker 7: of them a lot.
- 23:37Speaker 10: Yes, and yeah we don't. We didn't mean it.
- 23:40Speaker 4: We didn't really mean it.
- 23:42Speaker 10: It's fine when LSU does.
- 23:43Speaker 9: Remember when we said he shouldn't be allowed to play,
- 23:45Speaker 9: We didn't.
- 23:46Speaker 11: We were joking.
- 23:47Speaker 4: We were so joking.
- 23:48Speaker 10: Like I think Bettioca should be allowed to play in rj.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Luis absolutely, it's so fun.
- 23:58Speaker 8: So like apparently the first equld Orient to be in
- 24:00Speaker 8: the NBA.
- 24:02Speaker 4: So did Like, oh, okay, all.
- 24:04Speaker 10: Right, Chris Marler sent me that.
- 24:06Speaker 3: So the fact that you went on air with that
- 24:09Speaker 3: bold problematic bold.
- 24:13Speaker 9: So not only did he not play in an NBA game,
- 24:15Speaker 9: I mentioned he signed that G League contract he didn't
- 24:17Speaker 9: play in a G League game either.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Okay, so he signed a two way.
- 24:21Speaker 9: Deal with the Jazz, which traded to the Celtics. Never
- 24:23Speaker 9: played in any NBA or G League.
- 24:25Speaker 7: Game, okay, but every two weeks he received a check
- 24:30Speaker 7: he did with his name, which from that professional basket.
- 24:33Speaker 11: Which should be the most important aspect.
- 24:36Speaker 7: Of this that like, I didn't I didn't dribble during it. Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 7: it doesn't really make it.
- 24:41Speaker 9: That just seems to be a common trend where it's
- 24:43Speaker 9: like you read, oh, this guy was drafted, but they
- 24:46Speaker 9: only played in the G League like that, that seems
- 24:48Speaker 9: to be a common trend.
- 24:48Speaker 11: On he's got returning to college.
- 24:50Speaker 8: I'll raise my concern again on this, uh conventional recruiting
- 24:55Speaker 8: only because like we just they may or may not
- 24:58Speaker 8: be able to play like we. He may or may
- 25:00Speaker 8: not figure out a way for these people to play,
- 25:02Speaker 8: like we don't know if he's eligible or not. Does
- 25:07Speaker 8: Will Wade maybe have a loophole in his back pocket?
- 25:10Speaker 10: More than likely we know that.
- 25:13Speaker 8: But it's just like I am going to again raise
- 25:15Speaker 8: my a little bit of concern for it.
- 25:18Speaker 4: You know how Like when Lane Kiffen was tweeting sounding
- 25:21Speaker 4: the alarm, but what I mean, so silence, it's a
- 25:25Speaker 4: soft alarm, right, Uh.
- 25:26Speaker 7: When like Lane Cliffin was tweeting at like Dez Bryant saying, hey,
- 25:29Speaker 7: you want to file in the junction and come play
- 25:31Speaker 7: for us? He was joking kind of right, but also serious.
- 25:36Speaker 10: Yeah, so oh, Will was like, if Desk can.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Do it, Desk can do it. Yeah, G League gay
- 25:41Speaker 4: could do it.
- 25:41Speaker 9: Probably for what it's worth, this article mentions Texas A
- 25:46Speaker 9: and M has already done this this spring, so they
- 25:49Speaker 9: signed G League guard Bryce and Warren.
- 25:52Speaker 11: He actually never went to college.
- 25:53Speaker 9: He skipped entirely to play for Overtime Elite and then
- 25:57Speaker 9: ultimately get to.
- 25:58Speaker 11: The G League. Played for the wind Chat Nicks.
- 26:01Speaker 9: Actually averaging nineteen point eight, so pretty good before committing
- 26:04Speaker 9: to the Aggies earlier this spring.
- 26:06Speaker 8: So but I feel like that's different though, because he
- 26:07Speaker 8: never actually went to college. So I think for that
- 26:10Speaker 8: you can make an argument that you have college eligibility.
- 26:13Speaker 10: But R J. Luis went to college.
- 26:15Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, so like he averaged that's totally like valid
- 26:21Speaker 9: the average nineteen in the G League. Yeah, but Luis
- 26:24Speaker 9: is probably gonna argue only played three years of college.
- 26:26Speaker 9: So I've still got a year. I guess it's like
- 26:28Speaker 9: there's so many loopholes on this thing. But just because
- 26:31Speaker 9: I would think that too about well, he never played college.
- 26:34Speaker 7: If you ever get like the most important part, they
- 26:38Speaker 7: were professional basketball players.
- 26:39Speaker 11: Right, that should be the only thing that matters.
- 26:41Speaker 7: That should be the only It doesn't matter, It doesn't
- 26:44Speaker 7: matter if he never played agreed.
- 26:46Speaker 8: I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here like that
- 26:49Speaker 8: that I feel like the NC Double A or the
- 26:52Speaker 8: player whoever could maybe make an argument for that because
- 26:55Speaker 8: he never was in college.
- 26:56Speaker 7: So what we're doing now was the butt of everybody's
- 26:58Speaker 7: joke at Alabama. Now we're comparing and we're saying it's
- 27:01Speaker 7: okay because Texas A and M has done it too.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Now that we put it that way, I don't even
- 27:09Speaker 4: know if this is gonna be.
- 27:09Speaker 10: Like something that right, That's what I'm saying.
- 27:12Speaker 8: That's why I'm raising the little concern flag a little
- 27:15Speaker 8: bit because of the triumph.
- 27:17Speaker 10: Because we're like, oh, we were we fielded a team.
- 27:20Speaker 10: We can practice now, but can they?
- 27:22Speaker 9: So I'm looking, I'm trying to find eligibility for Bryce
- 27:27Speaker 9: and Warren to see if he's been deemed eligible or ineligible.
- 27:31Speaker 10: Did y'all shout out to Avoca.
- 27:33Speaker 8: I meant to bring this up earlier, but he brought
- 27:36Speaker 8: it up just now that Soresby also filed a lawsuit
- 27:40Speaker 8: yesterday for eligibility.
- 27:42Speaker 4: And just like he was betting on like her career.
- 27:46Speaker 9: They can't, they cannot let they cannot pass.
- 27:52Speaker 10: What's sick is that we were joking.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Gambling if you're betting on the Nathan's hot dog eating context.
- 27:57Speaker 10: Something about this makes me so sad.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Well, it's a guarantee.
- 28:01Speaker 7: I understand that all these and it's not even.
- 28:05Speaker 9: All these courtroom warriors are gonna be like, oh we
- 28:09Speaker 9: gotta I just wish they might stay out of college athletics,
- 28:12Speaker 9: Like why do you care so much that are like,
- 28:14Speaker 9: we're gonna we're gonna deem in eligible. We're gonna rule
- 28:17Speaker 9: everything against the n c a A. You cannot let
- 28:19Speaker 9: Brendan Sores be playing.
- 28:21Speaker 11: You can't.
- 28:21Speaker 4: He just needs to get the supplemental draft.
- 28:23Speaker 9: Yes, there was all. A report came in a couple
- 28:25Speaker 9: of days ago. There four teams that were like, oh,
- 28:28Speaker 9: they'd be interested in sowreds. You cannot let Brendan sores
- 28:31Speaker 9: be be eligible. That's that's a dangerous precedent for everybody
- 28:35Speaker 9: else that it's like, oh, well maybe he didn't bet
- 28:37Speaker 9: on this and this, that doesn't mean somebody else did.
- 28:39Speaker 9: Like he cannot he can't play collegeable playing.
- 28:42Speaker 11: You can't. You can't let it.
- 28:44Speaker 7: It's pretty it's black and white. But I would also
- 28:46Speaker 7: say it with these basketball players, you can't let him
- 28:48Speaker 7: play if they're professional. Like even the kid that went
- 28:50Speaker 7: straight from high school, you made a decision, it didn't
- 28:55Speaker 7: work out. You can't just go back try again.
- 29:02Speaker 4: Did you ever think, like when we were if.
- 29:04Speaker 7: You were, if you're a bad professional athlete, you can't
- 29:07Speaker 7: just go back to college.
- 29:08Speaker 3: They think about think about the meetings we used to have,
- 29:11Speaker 3: like when we first got you know, back for training camp,
- 29:13Speaker 3: and we'd have betting meetings, we'd have agent meetings, we'd
- 29:16Speaker 3: have you know, blah blah blah, all these meetings that
- 29:18Speaker 3: we would have, Like did you ever think that we
- 29:20Speaker 3: would be here talking about guys that got drafted into
- 29:24Speaker 3: the NBA coming back and no playing in college?
- 29:27Speaker 7: Like you there's a decision to be made out of
- 29:29Speaker 7: high school and it's an important one.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Like you could get you couldn't even give your tickets
- 29:33Speaker 3: to the game to non family members. Yeah, like you
- 29:36Speaker 3: had to have Like you couldn't just give them like
- 29:39Speaker 3: to friends, you could give them to like people you
- 29:42Speaker 3: grew up with, Like you had to say how they
- 29:45Speaker 3: were related to you, like when you remember that when.
- 29:47Speaker 4: You put in your ticket request.
- 29:49Speaker 7: It's crazy here we are now, and like, look like
- 29:51Speaker 7: if you are being a professional athlete is hard, could
- 29:56Speaker 7: be really really good and you got to be really
- 29:58Speaker 7: really lucky at times. You can't be a bad or
- 30:02Speaker 7: a failed professional athlete and do the side that I'm
- 30:04Speaker 7: just going to go back and play college. Yeah, that's
- 30:08Speaker 7: the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
- 30:09Speaker 9: Like, Okay, we were talking yesterday when you weren't hear
- 30:11Speaker 9: Matt about who can LSU Baseball get back?
- 30:14Speaker 11: Who could they not?
- 30:15Speaker 9: Like what happens to one of these guys, whoever it
- 30:17Speaker 9: may be, decides to go pro right, gets up there, struggles,
- 30:20Speaker 9: they get in, demote it all the way down to
- 30:21Speaker 9: single A, and after a year they're like, you know what,
- 30:24Speaker 9: I wasn't ready, I'm just gonna go back to ol shoe.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Right. It's like the senior in high school playing on JV. Oh, wow,
- 30:32Speaker 4: you know who you are? You know who you are.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I'm not. My college didn't start me as a freshman.
- 30:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna go back to high school.
- 30:41Speaker 3: We got a question. I think this one's for you, Matthew.
- 30:44Speaker 3: What if you come back to college and play a
- 30:46Speaker 3: different sport?
- 30:48Speaker 4: We see that, but yeah, we've seen that.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that mark if you if you have actual eligibility, sinky,
- 30:53Speaker 3: you can't play four years.
- 30:54Speaker 7: Of football, then go play four years of baseball. But
- 30:56Speaker 7: like you have eligibility, I.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Think it didn't tend to I play for the Chargers
- 31:01Speaker 3: of Falcons. I forget what you seem. He was within
- 31:03Speaker 3: run track at Iowa at the same time.
- 31:06Speaker 9: Well, then we just had Zach von Rosenberg here a
- 31:09Speaker 9: few years ago. Yeah, so I mean it that that's
- 31:12Speaker 9: done a lot the same sports.
- 31:16Speaker 3: A little bit of a stretch though, Yeah, yeah, different
- 31:19Speaker 3: different conversations.
- 31:20Speaker 7: Think about Michael Jordan, instead of going to play for
- 31:22Speaker 7: the White Sox, he went back and played for North
- 31:25Speaker 7: Carolina baseball, Right, That's what we're kind of talking about.
- 31:33Speaker 7: It's it's almost like if you're a professional athlete at anything,
- 31:37Speaker 7: you lose your amateurism.
- 31:40Speaker 4: But I guess it's not amateur.
- 31:41Speaker 3: But again, though, like we've seen it, like not saying it.
- 31:43Speaker 3: I think different sports are different conversation. Yeah, same sport
- 31:47Speaker 3: is that one's tough.
- 31:49Speaker 11: But like also how long do you have to be
- 31:51Speaker 11: out too? Like does that matter?
- 31:53Speaker 9: Like for example, what if a guy is like a
- 31:55Speaker 9: duke player, like a one and done right, goes to
- 31:57Speaker 9: the NBA, he's an All Star for two years and
- 31:59Speaker 9: he's like, it's still got three years of college eligibility left,
- 32:01Speaker 9: let me go back.
- 32:04Speaker 8: So I think since I think the loophole, if I
- 32:08Speaker 8: had to just guess what the loophole is, if you
- 32:12Speaker 8: sign like a two way contract, which r J leuis did,
- 32:16Speaker 8: you didn't technically sign like an NBA contract, You signed
- 32:21Speaker 8: like a G league two way one. So I think
- 32:24Speaker 8: the argument there would be that he wasn't like in
- 32:26Speaker 8: the NBA, and the NBA is different from like being
- 32:30Speaker 8: in the G league, right, So I think that's what
- 32:33Speaker 8: they're trying to maybe do because I'm looking it up,
- 32:36Speaker 8: like are there any sort of loopholes for this?
- 32:38Speaker 10: And that's the only one that I could kind of.
- 32:41Speaker 4: So it's a G league, it's it's not professional basketball.
- 32:45Speaker 9: It should because so it used to be in the
- 32:46Speaker 9: D League and stood for developmental but like to her point,
- 32:50Speaker 9: like if you go look at any of these guys
- 32:52Speaker 9: that went in to the common denominator is always they
- 32:54Speaker 9: played the G League. They played in the G League,
- 32:56Speaker 9: they play, so it's like they're shooting their shot. It
- 32:57Speaker 9: there's gonna be something to that.
- 33:02Speaker 4: You go to the G League. I mean, you're shooting
- 33:04Speaker 4: your shot at professional sports.
- 33:05Speaker 9: Like that's yeah, it's I don't I don't see how
- 33:09Speaker 9: the G league's different than minor league baseball.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Because you're affiliated.
- 33:15Speaker 9: Yeah, like Bryce and Warren who I just mentioned from
- 33:18Speaker 9: Texas A and m they're like, yeah, last year he
- 33:20Speaker 9: played for the uh Westchester Nicks.
- 33:23Speaker 11: Like, gee, I wonder you're affiliated with.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Nets obviously m hm.
- 33:30Speaker 8: Also, the n C Double A keeps losing like every
- 33:32Speaker 8: court case that they get, so.
- 33:37Speaker 4: M all right, we're long for a break. We gotta
- 33:40Speaker 4: take one. Go Tigers, we gotta take the break.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It's I mean, it's not something we ever thought we
- 33:48Speaker 3: would certainly see. But like and the last time it
- 33:52Speaker 3: it didn't, it didn't work out and got ruled ineligible.
- 33:56Speaker 4: We'll see what happens with this one.

- 35:21Speaker 3: All right, Welcome back in OTV here live from the

- 35:40Speaker 3: stell co dot com to find out more information. We
- 35:46Speaker 3: got aggressive typing in all caps over there, Bud. You
- 35:51Speaker 3: know it's real.
- 35:52Speaker 4: You know it's real. You know it's real. God loves
- 35:55Speaker 4: to hit all caps. You love it when, like.
- 36:04Speaker 7: You, you text somebody and like you say something in
- 36:06Speaker 7: all caps and then I text back.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Stop yelling at me.
- 36:10Speaker 10: Not, I'm just excited.
- 36:12Speaker 7: I mean, if you look at at the notebook too,
- 36:14Speaker 7: Like I write in pretty much all caps.
- 36:15Speaker 4: It's a combination of all raps. I write in all caps.
- 36:19Speaker 7: I do writing all caps, and it's like a yeah.
- 36:22Speaker 7: It kind of like when you like Spanglish. It's like
- 36:24Speaker 7: combo language. People like I do a combination between all
- 36:27Speaker 7: caps and cursive. Yeah, makes sense to me.
- 36:32Speaker 8: I had to cut the Spanglish out of my vocabulary
- 36:34Speaker 8: when I moved here.
- 36:36Speaker 7: It's like a number one like thing to say. It's
- 36:41Speaker 7: like in Spanglish. That was hard to cut out.
- 36:44Speaker 8: I don't know, because it's like one of those things
- 36:48Speaker 8: where like my mom, she didn't speak English when I
- 36:52Speaker 8: was growing up, so I would have to like kind
- 36:54Speaker 8: of drift in and out. So it was just kind
- 36:55Speaker 8: of like, uh, I just whatever came out in Spanish
- 37:00Speaker 8: came out in Spanish, whatever came out in English came
- 37:01Speaker 8: out in English. Respect Sometimes I would answer her in
- 37:06Speaker 8: English and she would understand what I'm saying.
- 37:09Speaker 10: She just wouldn't like respond in English.
- 37:13Speaker 7: Good question about easy in the in the chat? Do
- 37:16Speaker 7: you think Lebron can come play?
- 37:19Speaker 10: That's a great questions.
- 37:20Speaker 11: Four years of eligibility.
- 37:22Speaker 4: I think you go to Ohio. Stage's kind of a
- 37:23Speaker 4: buck eye. Yeah, but you know what a great question.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Though I heard they need never played college basketball.
- 37:30Speaker 10: You know who didn't either, Wimby.
- 37:33Speaker 4: It's true.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I don't think it's fair that I got a lot
- 37:37Speaker 3: of connection to France culture.
- 37:39Speaker 7: I really don't. I don't think it's fair that only
- 37:41Speaker 7: the bad pros can come.
- 37:42Speaker 9: Play, right about the good pros? This is like all
- 37:47Speaker 9: these European players are getting signed. If I'm a college
- 37:49Speaker 9: of basketball coach, I'm calling Wimby and Luca and being like, hey, guys,
- 37:52Speaker 9: team up.
- 37:53Speaker 10: Yeah, did Castle play all four years? We can get
- 37:57Speaker 10: Castle too?
- 37:59Speaker 5: He might.
- 37:59Speaker 11: I don't think keep playing all four years.
- 38:02Speaker 7: I think Tyris Thomas can come back. He's got a couple,
- 38:05Speaker 7: he's got three years.
- 38:08Speaker 8: You know what, go get Javonte again, give him another
- 38:13Speaker 8: strong ass offer.
- 38:15Speaker 14: No, Castle only played one years. A three year guy
- 38:20Speaker 14: coming in. This is a bad pro and amateur.
- 38:27Speaker 8: No, I don't care if will Wade recruits thirty year
- 38:30Speaker 8: old Martians. How about not being the worst damn team
- 38:32Speaker 8: in the conference next year? I think we're all on
- 38:34Speaker 8: the same page. We're just like wondering if it's possible.
- 38:37Speaker 7: We're just pointing out that we did make fun of
- 38:41Speaker 7: Alabama pretty hard.
- 38:42Speaker 10: We did.
- 38:42Speaker 4: We're doing the same thing.
- 38:46Speaker 8: But also, like I'm just questioning, are we going to
- 38:50Speaker 8: win these lawsuits? That's that's what I am wondering.
- 38:55Speaker 4: I don't know, guys, we're just yelling at the clouds right.
- 39:00Speaker 8: This time.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Do you know you want to know like what your
- 39:02Speaker 3: chance to start to win them? Because if you're banking
- 39:04Speaker 3: on these players being a bulkier team, like you do
- 39:06Speaker 3: need to know that.
- 39:07Speaker 10: No, exactly.
- 39:08Speaker 11: Yeah, that's what I feel like.
- 39:09Speaker 9: I feel like you put some feelers out there before
- 39:11Speaker 9: you sign them. Yeah, but again, Bettiaco was eligible, played
- 39:16Speaker 9: five games and then ruled ineligible.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah, they have to four for those games.
- 39:20Speaker 9: No, No, he just wasn't loved to play. He wasn't
- 39:23Speaker 9: that good either, So I think they I think they
- 39:25Speaker 9: went like three and two.
- 39:26Speaker 3: That's a bench if I'm not yeah, I mean so,
- 39:29Speaker 3: all right, while you're pondering that, one reminds you about
- 39:31Speaker 3: our friends overt jen Gators. For most backup generators, the

- 43:40Speaker 4: You name it?
- 43:41Speaker 11: Matt plays is a lot of golf.
- 43:43Speaker 12: Uh.
- 43:44Speaker 3: The Good Lord made me good at one sport. It
- 43:49Speaker 3: was a good high school player in soccer and baseball.
- 43:52Speaker 3: But that's about where it stopped. High school basketball is
- 43:54Speaker 3: not my sport. I gotta believe.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Sixth grades last time I played basketball.
- 43:58Speaker 7: I gotta believe I would have made it somewhere in baseball,
- 44:01Speaker 7: maybe not to the show, got it?
- 44:03Speaker 4: Who knows? Ping pong? Chance would have been soccer? If
- 44:07Speaker 4: I'm picking another sport. If I had been classically pong player,
- 44:12Speaker 4: you are, I'll give you that Billiards. I mean, I
- 44:17Speaker 4: gotta think like seeing the nerds that do that.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Hashtag asked the bench, why did Rouses in Orange Beach
- 44:24Speaker 3: have my high on sale this weekend before my local store.
- 44:27Speaker 4: That's a great question. Fun just rolled it out a
- 44:29Speaker 4: little early. Probably the demand was too high, so demand it.
- 44:34Speaker 10: I feel like the dates wrong.
- 44:35Speaker 4: I did well.
- 44:36Speaker 7: I think there was a little we got a wires
- 44:38Speaker 7: cross but I think it officially was at all stores yesterday.
- 44:43Speaker 3: It feels like when you say we got our wires crosses,
- 44:45Speaker 3: you cross the wires just from experience, I mean hydration.
- 44:51Speaker 15: I've known you for over two decades. I'm just saying, Look,
- 44:56Speaker 15: I played quarterback. I was like I took the plan
- 44:59Speaker 15: for everybody. She was pretty much the point.
- 45:02Speaker 10: You weren't where you were supposed to be.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Brett Helm's bad snap. Yes it was my fault, guys,
- 45:08Speaker 4: it really wasn't. It was Brett's fault. But like I'll take.
- 45:11Speaker 3: It, it was your hands that made his rear end sweat.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Your hands are too warm.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Idiot, running back went the wrong direction. I must have
- 45:18Speaker 4: been my fault, told the wrong thing.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Never that is not you just don't sell that to
- 45:23Speaker 3: the people. You would have called us an idiot, and
- 45:26Speaker 3: you did.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Not to you. Yeah, not to me. I wouldn't have
- 45:28Speaker 4: gone the wrong way idiot. US America waited till the mic.
