- 0:06Speaker 1: Really, Hello, is that missus doubtfire?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah? Did I do it? Okay? That was great. I'm
- 0:14Speaker 2: not missus doutfire. I am Lala Kent. Welcome back to
- 0:17Speaker 2: give them Lala Podcasts. What a weird episode last week.
- 0:23Speaker 1: My heart is still racing from it still to this
- 0:27Speaker 1: day when I think back on it, because to me
- 0:30Speaker 1: as a viewer, we've gotten into another level of scary
- 0:35Speaker 1: with Sandoval.
- 0:36Speaker 2: And Raquel and Raquel and I want to deep dive
- 0:41Speaker 2: into it because there's a lot of things that obviously
- 0:45Speaker 2: people say like ooh, that didn't age well, Things that
- 0:47Speaker 2: Sina has said, things that a lot of us have said.
- 0:50Speaker 2: And I keep reiterating to Shina because she's struggling with
- 0:55Speaker 2: like how did I not see it? It's like it
- 0:58Speaker 2: takes me back to when I was sitting at Lisa
- 1:00Speaker 2: vander Pump's for the tasting season nine, and I was
- 1:05Speaker 2: going in on Brock and I said to stand of all,
- 1:07Speaker 2: how dare you compare this man to my fiance, who
- 1:12Speaker 2: is a quote unquote stand up man. And I still
- 1:16Speaker 2: to this day have to plug my ears when they
- 1:18Speaker 2: do a flashback and go la la la, la la la,
- 1:21Speaker 2: because I'm so mortified so I give sheen advice like,
- 1:25Speaker 2: you should not be mortified. You're supposed to trust your friends,
- 1:28Speaker 2: you're supposed to defend them in that way. But I
- 1:30Speaker 2: do understand because I can't watch one scene with my ex.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I can't watch a scene with me talking about him.
- 1:36Speaker 2: It's all just yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to talk
- 1:41Speaker 2: about this very quickly because last week's podcast, I talked
- 1:45Speaker 2: about my dream of me drinking and losing my mind,
- 1:49Speaker 2: and I got a DM from this woman and she
- 1:52Speaker 2: said it was about if you are sober and you
- 1:57Speaker 2: have money, it's looked at as like incredible, But if
- 2:03Speaker 2: you're sober and you she didn't use the word broke,
- 2:08Speaker 2: but basically, if you don't have the means that someone
- 2:12Speaker 2: who's sober and does have means, it's looked at as trashy,
- 2:15Speaker 2: Like there's a difference between rich people who are sober
- 2:20Speaker 2: and people who aren't so rich being sober, like it
- 2:22Speaker 2: crosses into trully. Yeah. And I was like, that is
- 2:25Speaker 2: so interesting because I go to meetings with people from
- 2:31Speaker 2: all walks of life, every different background, and I feel
- 2:39Speaker 2: like that's the one thing if maybe if you don't
- 2:42Speaker 2: connect with someone like that's the one thing that we're
- 2:44Speaker 2: all there for is like we have addiction problems. So
- 2:50Speaker 2: it was interesting that she pointed that out because I
- 2:53Speaker 2: don't look at it that way at all. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 2: I look at someone who is an addict and getting sober,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and I'm not looking at like what is your bank
- 3:00Speaker 2: statement look like, because I need to peg what kind
- 3:03Speaker 2: of sober person you are.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never heard it that way, you know, but
- 3:07Speaker 1: I have heard it the other way, where if you
- 3:09Speaker 1: are rich and successful and you're an addict, oh yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 1: it's like, oh you knows he or she is an
- 3:18Speaker 1: artist and this is how like this is what they do. Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: And if you're not and you're you know, don't have
- 3:25Speaker 1: as much money and you're an addict, it's like, ugh, disgusting,
- 3:29Speaker 1: Like look at that. That's trash, like trash. I've heard that,
- 3:33Speaker 1: so I can see it makes sense that it would
- 3:36Speaker 1: go the other way. That's interesting.
- 3:37Speaker 2: You're actually right, But can I tell you I obviously
- 3:40Speaker 2: have been around people who their bank accounts are insanity,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and I've been around them when they're drinking or using,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and I'm like, you'res a fucking loser.
- 3:54Speaker 1: M Like drinking, you're you're talking about being around rich
- 3:58Speaker 1: people when they're doing drugs, not necessarily, like.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I'm talking about people who have addiction problems addiction wealthy. No,
- 4:04Speaker 2: not someone who's like a recreational like partier where they're
- 4:07Speaker 2: at Coachella living their best life. I'm talking about people
- 4:11Speaker 2: who are wealthy, and I've been around them multiple times,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and it's like, this is a real problem. Like the
- 4:18Speaker 2: moves that you're making, you would not be making if
- 4:21Speaker 2: you were a sober person. M hm, you're just not
- 4:24Speaker 2: acting like a good human being. Mm h. So there's
- 4:28Speaker 2: not I thought that was interesting.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's very interesting. But proud of anyone who obviously you
- 4:33Speaker 1: feel this way. But like who broke or not broke,
- 4:35Speaker 1: who's trying to get sober? That's incredible.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I see no difference. Yeah, so I hope that you
- 4:41Speaker 2: guys don't see a difference either, because, like I said,
- 4:44Speaker 2: that's like the one thing when I walk into a room,
- 4:45Speaker 2: it's like we are bonded on such a like profound level.
- 4:50Speaker 2: No matter where we come from, what we do for
- 4:52Speaker 2: a living, we're here for one reason and one reason only.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You know, your addiction doesn't care if you're a millionaire
- 4:58Speaker 2: or not. No, it's coming for you. Yeah, dude. So
- 5:03Speaker 2: the episode starts off with Katie making a hair of
- 5:06Speaker 2: the dog from my birthday. Literally when I said to her,
- 5:08Speaker 2: I've never seen you do this ever in your life.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I have never seen her make a hair of the dog.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Can you give us an idea of what time it was,
- 5:15Speaker 1: because to me, it's like, if that's six o'clock, five o'clock,
- 5:18Speaker 1: four o'clock, you're good. But if it's like ten am.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I want to say it was around noon, okay. So
- 5:23Speaker 2: it's like eleven thirty, twelve o'clock, okay, it was late
- 5:27Speaker 2: enough in the day to order Chick fil A and
- 5:29Speaker 2: I don't know that they're open for breakfast. But I
- 5:33Speaker 2: died when she was like going over what she had
- 5:37Speaker 2: said to Sandov all the night before. You seem like
- 5:40Speaker 2: you enjoy your two at one am at the amb
- 5:42Speaker 2: two of you like her face. If you have not
- 5:46Speaker 2: seen the episode, which I'm sure you all have by now,
- 5:49Speaker 2: Katie's faces. Yeah, in this episode, perfect five star.
- 5:55Speaker 1: She's a mob boss vibes or something. I don't know
- 5:57Speaker 1: what it is, but it's like, yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Like her sitting in the sandwich shop with Lisa vander
- 6:04Speaker 2: Pump and she looks unamused, like whatever. Then Raquel at
- 6:09Speaker 2: the beach, She's like, Katie, I want to ask you
- 6:11Speaker 2: about something. What and then the so over it?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yes, she's over it, and then the like fuck off,
- 6:18Speaker 1: just like quick, fuck off.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Sanimal Santaval got a couple fuck offs at the beach.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Get He said something to me at the beach did
- 6:26Speaker 2: you say? And I said, oh, fuck off, Sandaval, Like
- 6:29Speaker 2: that's all we want you to do, Sandival, and we
- 6:32Speaker 2: wanted you to do it for so long, babe, just like,
- 6:35Speaker 2: please fuck off.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Do you know what another favorite line of mine was
- 6:40Speaker 1: for you? It was let's go the don, go the
- 6:42Speaker 1: doraw on the beach, Let's go the don.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I was over it. The whole reason I didn't bring
- 6:47Speaker 2: him to my birthday was because I'm like, I know
- 6:50Speaker 2: how these things work. The birthday could be a platform
- 6:54Speaker 2: for some drama, and it was actually a really great
- 6:57Speaker 2: and positive night. I should have brought him to the
- 7:01Speaker 2: entire birthday. The beach day. I was like, this is
- 7:03Speaker 2: gonna be so chill. We're going to the beach like
- 7:08Speaker 2: what I named my daughter Ocean, because it's just like
- 7:11Speaker 2: peaceful and grand and you sit there and go like Wow,
- 7:14Speaker 2: we really are insignificant when you look at this body
- 7:18Speaker 2: of water.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yes, yes, no, leave it up to that group, your group,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that group to cause the drama at a chill beach day.
- 7:28Speaker 2: What the fuck is that?
- 7:30Speaker 1: I mean, it was fun to watch.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It was fun to watch, and thank god it was
- 7:32Speaker 2: a week day because could you imagine if there were
- 7:35Speaker 2: like families around.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, but it would have been wild.
- 7:41Speaker 2: So I want to go back to the yeastie boys,
- 7:45Speaker 2: the Toms. You said they remind you of tweedled the
- 7:48Speaker 2: and Tweedled dumb.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I mean every time they're talking because they're they're saying
- 7:52Speaker 1: the wrong things, each of them, but then they're agreeing
- 7:55Speaker 1: with each other. So I'm like, someone needs to be
- 7:58Speaker 1: in that conversation to be like, what you're both fucking
- 8:01Speaker 1: saying is not it's not making any sense. He'll be
- 8:04Speaker 1: like I forgot what he said because I tuned out.
- 8:06Speaker 1: But I'm just like, my brain is melting most times
- 8:10Speaker 1: that I watch Sandoval and Schwartz have a conversation this season,
- 8:14Speaker 1: just like it's like I feel dumber.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I get what you mean, And that's why
- 8:19Speaker 2: I have to I started watching them since Scandival I've
- 8:23Speaker 2: gone back and like tried to stomach them, and there's
- 8:25Speaker 2: actually a few like little moments in their conversations where
- 8:29Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, this is interesting, because You're right, they're
- 8:32Speaker 2: each saying a completely different thing, neither of them making sense.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They are so not on the same page at all.
- 8:40Speaker 2: So I'm confused why the friendship works so well, because
- 8:42Speaker 2: Sandoval will be explaining something and Schwartz will agree and
- 8:48Speaker 2: then build on it, and it's the complete opposite of
- 8:50Speaker 2: what does that am I making?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah, No, that's exactly how I feel. It's a complete opposite.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Or Schwartz will say something like when Sandoval was talking
- 8:57Speaker 1: about fertilizing the eggs, and then Schwartz like, are you
- 9:01Speaker 1: gonna do it? And then Sandoval's response was very like eh,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and that's a whole other thing. We get it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: They thank god they did not, thank god, but.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Like, we get it. Sandoval is right now currently in
- 9:12Speaker 1: this episode, he's fucking Raquel and he's setting the we're
- 9:15Speaker 1: not dumb. He's setting the audience up for make it,
- 9:18Speaker 1: put it, shining a negative light on his relationship with Ariana.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So his plan would have been the season ended and
- 9:24Speaker 1: then none of us are surprised that they break up,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and then a couple months later there's a relationship with
- 9:28Speaker 1: him in Raquel and it's like, oh well, but Schwartz said,
- 9:31Speaker 1: are you gonna do it? And Sandoval's response was very
- 9:34Speaker 1: like lackluster and that to me isn't like as a friend,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I would go, oh, hold on a sec. This isn't
- 9:41Speaker 1: very it's not enthusiastic.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You shouldn't do it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But then but he was like, I mean, I guess,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and Schwartz was like, I mean why not, right, yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 1: then why not? And I'm just like, no, this is wrong,
- 9:53Speaker 1: Like what are you doing?
- 9:55Speaker 2: This is why I say they're all bobblehead? Yes, and
- 9:58Speaker 2: thank god. Now since all of this has happened, everyone's
- 10:01Speaker 2: kind of taken on a mind of their own. Yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 2: but before I'm telling you what it was that group
- 10:08Speaker 2: versus me and Katie and James. Yeah, and people don't
- 10:12Speaker 2: see it very often, but like Katie and I have
- 10:15Speaker 2: gone toes, you know, Jess, Yes, just because it hasn't
- 10:19Speaker 2: happened on camera yet, we have our moments of like
- 10:24Speaker 2: I don't fucking agree with you and I'm I'm taking
- 10:26Speaker 2: a breather like it. She talked about it on our
- 10:29Speaker 2: podcast like a few months ago. So we've never been
- 10:32Speaker 2: up each other's assholes, right, this other group is. It
- 10:36Speaker 2: was crazy for a minute. It was very interesting to watch,
- 10:40Speaker 2: and it did feel like you were in the twilight zone,
- 10:43Speaker 2: Like I don't understand how you can all just be
- 10:47Speaker 2: so prime example is what you just mentioned. I don't
- 10:51Speaker 2: know if I want to fertilizer eggs. Yeah, it's kind
- 10:53Speaker 2: of like, but why not? Why not? With what I'm
- 10:56Speaker 2: going through? I do believe had Sandoval fertilized those eggs
- 11:03Speaker 2: and they were now embryos, they could possibly be in
- 11:07Speaker 2: a custody battle for them. Really absolutely.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a great point. Yeah, oh my god,
- 11:16Speaker 1: do you really quit?
- 11:17Speaker 2: And you would have to agree if aunt Arianna said
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm not using them, I'm giving I'm selling them to
- 11:23Speaker 2: someone who really is struggling to have a baby. Sandoval
- 11:26Speaker 2: has to be okay with that. Yeah, I do believe
- 11:29Speaker 2: that that would be grounds for to enter a custody battle.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Thank god she didn't do it really quick. Just before
- 11:35Speaker 1: you move on from the beach.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Day, well, I want to go back to the beach
- 11:37Speaker 2: Day because I want to know.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Okay, good, but I just want to know what because
- 11:41Speaker 1: you mentioned not bringing the dawn around drama, and then
- 11:44Speaker 1: beach Day happens and there's drama. Was did your relationship
- 11:47Speaker 1: with him suffer because of that?
- 11:49Speaker 3: No?
- 11:49Speaker 2: And in the car like that day really really fucked
- 11:53Speaker 2: me up.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Oh why, there's a.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Lot that you guys did that you guys didn't see
- 11:59Speaker 2: with the beach day and it started. You did see
- 12:03Speaker 2: Schwartz coming for how I provide for my baby, but
- 12:08Speaker 2: you also didn't see that. Sandoval starts attacking it as well,
- 12:13Speaker 2: and I and then Raquel starts talking about that she
- 12:17Speaker 2: didn't get paid very much for the bambe Eyed Bitch palette,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and I said to her, I paid you one thousand dollars.
- 12:26Speaker 2: You worked for two hours, maybe even less. That's five
- 12:29Speaker 2: hundred an hour. Show me one person who is making
- 12:34Speaker 2: and like, scoffing at five hundred dollars an hour, you
- 12:40Speaker 2: sound sick. And then I said, and you know, the
- 12:43Speaker 2: last time I saw you, bitch you like, who are you?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Last time I saw you were sashcheing down a runway
- 12:49Speaker 2: at a fucking community college wearing a miss Malibu sash.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I ain't seen you on fendy be billboards like you
- 12:55Speaker 2: threw me a bone, like sure, I'll help you out.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Tripping, Oh for the fucking surfboard, fake surfing on stage,
- 13:03Speaker 1: fafe surfing and still falling.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Okay? And I said, if you were not happy with
- 13:08Speaker 2: the deal that I presented to you should have had
- 13:11Speaker 2: your lawyer call mine, could have worked it out.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And she didn't say that line. She didn't say bambeyded bitch.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It's not like you took her line and then made
- 13:17Speaker 1: a palette. You said that line.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And I asked you would you want to be a
- 13:20Speaker 2: part of it? You said absolutely. I said, great, How
- 13:25Speaker 2: does a thousand dollars sound perfect? She said, if that
- 13:29Speaker 2: didn't sound good to you, keep in mind we were
- 13:31Speaker 2: like pretty fresh out of COVID. There were people struggling
- 13:34Speaker 2: to get jobs. Yeah, okay, And you're gonna fucking sneeze
- 13:37Speaker 2: at one thousand dollars for two hours of fucking work.
- 13:40Speaker 1: And don't say hey, don't say it. You said in
- 13:43Speaker 1: the text. Are you good with this?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah? Great? Great, don't And if you wanted to negotiate things,
- 13:48Speaker 2: like I said, send it to Darryl. We'd be more
- 13:51Speaker 2: than happy to negotiate. We do it every day. I
- 13:55Speaker 2: was furious, and I did say, you roll it, you
- 13:58Speaker 2: roll up. You're nineteen nine Jetta in your sublet apartment.
- 14:02Speaker 2: And it wasn't to throw daggers. I don't give a
- 14:05Speaker 2: fuck what you drive, but don't step to me act
- 14:07Speaker 2: and like you live some baller lifestyle. And one thousand
- 14:10Speaker 2: dollars for two hours was just so beneath the offensive, right,
- 14:15Speaker 2: like what are you talking about? So I left that
- 14:18Speaker 2: day feeling just like disgusted. Remember you were all you know.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I was disgusted that I came for Schwartz's business, knowing
- 14:27Speaker 2: how hard it is to just try and get something
- 14:29Speaker 2: off the ground. I felt like that day we had
- 14:32Speaker 2: all hit in all time low.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You said it too, that day. Something's in the water. Ali,
- 14:37Speaker 1: that's the most kind of annoyed at James I've ever
- 14:40Speaker 1: seen her, even though I died laughing at his Oh Annie,
- 14:45Speaker 1: Alie f yeah, but yeah, back to the dawn.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Very quickly we left the beach. We apologized Katie and
- 14:52Speaker 2: I because we all drove together profusely to the boys.
- 14:56Speaker 2: The dawn was laughing. Okay, good, he loved it, oh good,
- 15:00Speaker 2: And he said about it, he said, he goes that
- 15:02Speaker 2: little white boy is crazy, which one, Oh James, he
- 15:08Speaker 2: loved James. James was like he was digging him. Yeah
- 15:11Speaker 2: he did, because they also met at my birthday dinner
- 15:14Speaker 2: after cameras shut down, and James James gets along with
- 15:17Speaker 2: everybody and he makes everyone feel welcome, and he's very
- 15:19Speaker 2: into music, and he just you could drop him anywhere
- 15:22Speaker 2: and he's gonna vibe with you on some level. So
- 15:26Speaker 2: he was already digging James good because the face was
- 15:29Speaker 2: just like this motherfucker is good, crazy good.
- 15:34Speaker 1: That's what you want. I didn't want to be like, hey,
- 15:36Speaker 1: I can't, this.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Is too much. No, he was totally fine with it.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Satchel was totally fine with it. You guys didn't see
- 15:42Speaker 2: Satchel say the sand of all, you need to stop
- 15:44Speaker 2: talking and let Katie talk.
- 15:46Speaker 1: He did, why do you cut that out?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Don't cut that out? Involved in? Katy was like it's okay,
- 15:51Speaker 2: it's like I got this, like I don't want you involved,
- 15:54Speaker 2: but he was like, let her talk.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I saw a little stank face on the dawn when
- 16:00Speaker 1: Schwartz was was being like, if you ever throw that
- 16:03Speaker 1: drink in my face again, I mean he was a
- 16:06Speaker 1: little like we'll stank face like as in, what are
- 16:08Speaker 1: you guys doing over here?
- 16:09Speaker 2: He gone, don't funk around, let me just say that. Okay,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you don't you don't want this smoke.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And also you have notes, but please touch on. I
- 16:22Speaker 1: loved the you and James moment and James is like,
- 16:24Speaker 1: back me up, back me up, no butts, no butts,
- 16:27Speaker 1: back me up. And then I was and then you
- 16:29Speaker 1: did and he was like yeah it chip to Schwartz
- 16:31Speaker 1: and I loved.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It expressions and I loved when he was Schwartz was
- 16:35Speaker 2: saying to me, you're so corny and not true, not true.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I felt like the good old days a little bit,
- 16:44Speaker 3: because I felt like, not only was the joke bad,
- 16:48Speaker 3: like and he felt James, you could see it in
- 16:52Speaker 3: his face, like, oh, there's a butt here, I'm dipping
- 16:55Speaker 3: out unless you on my back.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And it was like, hold on, I need to just
- 16:57Speaker 2: stay put because it's not just that we're gonna build
- 17:00Speaker 2: on this. You said that you need to be fucking
- 17:02Speaker 2: knocked out the way you move, and now we know
- 17:05Speaker 2: that at that point in time, he knew that there
- 17:07Speaker 2: was a one night stand.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, at that fucking important time.
- 17:11Speaker 2: At that point in time, he knew you need a
- 17:13Speaker 2: fist in your face. And I don't even condone vioely
- 17:16Speaker 2: she doesn't. But some people need some sense knocked into them,
- 17:19Speaker 2: not by me, most certainly not. I don't want to
- 17:21Speaker 2: catch a case. Yeah that was a moment. Yeah, it
- 17:24Speaker 2: was a huge moment.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I loved I just loved it.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It was like you two and it was like that
- 17:29Speaker 1: energy and I just loved it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Well, the the interview of James where he was like,
- 17:34Speaker 2: I booked a mudgin festival.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Don't even because I was getting goosebumps, and I was like,
- 17:39Speaker 1: am I going to say a cry for James right now?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Can I tell you something? What When I watched it
- 17:44Speaker 2: the first time where we had to watch everything before reunion,
- 17:47Speaker 2: I did cry? You did? It was hard?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck you Schwartz for making him cry?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Fuck off?
- 17:55Speaker 1: What do you think you're doing?
- 17:56Speaker 2: It just made me so sad because James and I
- 18:00Speaker 2: the reason why we relate is we come off so
- 18:03Speaker 2: like tough and zero to one hundred, very quickly and unpredictable.
- 18:08Speaker 2: But I think it's because there's not many people who
- 18:11Speaker 2: kind of ride for us and try to lift us up.
- 18:13Speaker 2: We're kind of lone wolves. You know, we don't. We
- 18:16Speaker 2: don't have that, So we have to toot our own horn.
- 18:18Speaker 2: We have to like really stand by ourselves and feel
- 18:22Speaker 2: confident or we're gonna be left like little sad puppies. Yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 2: so to see that he went from throwing the drink
- 18:30Speaker 2: and he was heated to you get the actual vulnerable
- 18:34Speaker 2: moment where he's like, my feelings are hurt. I've worked
- 18:36Speaker 2: really hard to do what I'm doing. He doesn't get
- 18:39Speaker 2: a lot of praise.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And he should because he does work so hard and
- 18:43Speaker 1: he's very fucking good.
- 18:45Speaker 2: He's very good, and he just bought a home. He did, Yes,
- 18:50Speaker 2: did I break it? Like hope can get me them
- 18:55Speaker 2: down loads? And it's that's something to be proud of.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not trying to like shit on my
- 19:04Speaker 2: other cast members who have purchased homes. But let's really
- 19:07Speaker 2: think about this. Jackson, Britt, Tom and uh Mariana, Marianna,
- 19:13Speaker 2: Tom and Katie. They all bought these beautiful homes that
- 19:18Speaker 2: were very expensive. But two people paid for those homes.
- 19:21Speaker 2: You got Sheena, who bought her first home on her own,
- 19:26Speaker 2: did not get a lot of credit for that, and
- 19:27Speaker 2: she should have. So I'm giving it to her right now.
- 19:30Speaker 2: That that's fucking boss. Yes, James Kennedy just bought a home, yal,
- 19:35Speaker 2: I just bought a home. And now all the people
- 19:37Speaker 2: besides Jackson Britt who are thriving. Yeah, the people who
- 19:42Speaker 2: bought the homes are now separating and those homes are
- 19:46Speaker 2: being put up for sale and who knows what moves
- 19:47Speaker 2: they'll make. But as of right now, Tom and Katie
- 19:51Speaker 2: both apartment living. Katie's very happy with that. She's trying
- 19:53Speaker 2: to figure out where she wants to be. I'm not
- 19:55Speaker 2: saying that my cast members can't afford to go buy
- 19:57Speaker 2: their own homes. What I'm saying is like, we got
- 19:59Speaker 2: to give every buddy the same amount of credit.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think that's You're so right. James does
- 20:05Speaker 1: a lot of things that I think bring the drama
- 20:08Speaker 1: to you guys and your group of friends that he
- 20:12Speaker 1: doesn't when he he doesn't get the praise and the
- 20:15Speaker 1: Bravo James, it's more like, oh, that man is crazy,
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like he's so funny.
- 20:19Speaker 2: This is people do love him.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Well, maybe it's me personally. I think he's so funny
- 20:24Speaker 1: and I think this really showed me, Like, oh and
- 20:26Speaker 1: he also is a hard worker.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That's what I mean is everyone takes him as like
- 20:31Speaker 2: he's very funny. Yes, they don't ever take into account
- 20:34Speaker 2: that he works his ass off, yes, and like really
- 20:38Speaker 2: he deserves more credit than he gets. He's not just
- 20:40Speaker 2: the dude who you watch on vander Pump Rules and
- 20:43Speaker 2: you laugh your ass off.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Oh he's out here opening up for Cascade. He's out
- 20:46Speaker 1: in these streets, open it up for Cascade.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I imagine festive, I imagine festival.
- 20:53Speaker 2: We're so proud of James.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Another moment that I I think she's just gonna be
- 21:01Speaker 4: like fuck was Ali and Sheena. I yes, my god,
- 21:07Speaker 4: And Ali's saying like, isn't it a little strange?
- 21:11Speaker 2: Like would you trust? Would you be okay with Brock
- 21:14Speaker 2: out with Raquel at one in the morning, And She's like,
- 21:18Speaker 2: I would trust Brock in the same bed as her.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I know, I feel bad, but you know what, she
- 21:25Speaker 1: rides hard for her fucking she really does so good
- 21:28Speaker 1: for you, Sena, and you got the shit end of
- 21:31Speaker 1: the deal because the friend you rode hard for completely
- 21:34Speaker 1: betrayed you. But that's what it shows. I'm not you know,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm not gonna focus on like she's probably it's probably
- 21:40Speaker 1: already painful enough to watch that. Of course, like you said.
- 21:43Speaker 2: She well, even I last week on Watch What Happens,
- 21:46Speaker 2: moments that didn't age. Well, it's me saying to Raquel
- 21:48Speaker 2: that she's not a mistress. Even at the beach day,
- 21:51Speaker 2: I was like, there are women who are mistresses and
- 21:53Speaker 2: home wreckers and all of that, and you're not one.
- 21:55Speaker 2: We didn't know. We only had suspicions. We could only
- 21:59Speaker 2: go off of your day dancing together at the abbey.
- 22:01Speaker 2: And even though like I was just getting a different vibe,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I know, Shina that you dance
- 22:07Speaker 2: with Sandoval at one am at the abbey. But my
- 22:09Speaker 2: gut isn't thinking that y'all are hooking up. My gut
- 22:12Speaker 2: is telling me that this is a little strange. But
- 22:17Speaker 2: you just saying they were dancing at one am at
- 22:19Speaker 2: the abbey. The abbey is packed in West Hollywood, next
- 22:22Speaker 2: door to sir, Like, surely that could come across as
- 22:26Speaker 2: like you're I can't walk up to Ariana and be
- 22:28Speaker 2: like they're having an affair. They were seen at one
- 22:30Speaker 2: am in the morning. Nobody couldn't walk up and say that.
- 22:32Speaker 1: And like Sandoval said, which was very convincing. If I
- 22:35Speaker 1: didn't know scandival had already happened in this moment, I'd
- 22:37Speaker 1: be like, uh, you guys, come on. Listen to Sandoval,
- 22:40Speaker 1: like he says, we know everyone at the abbey.
- 22:42Speaker 2: We're not.
- 22:43Speaker 1: If I'm gonna have a rendezvous, I'm not gonna be
- 22:46Speaker 1: doing it at the abbey. But that's why it's so sick.
- 22:49Speaker 2: That's why it's so sick, And that's why he reminds
- 22:51Speaker 2: me so much of my ex is. You listen to
- 22:55Speaker 2: them and you believe every word that comes out of
- 22:58Speaker 2: their mouth.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's weird because it's too obvious. They're like, well they're not, No,
- 23:02Speaker 1: nothing's going on, like how open they are.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but there was and I think I may have
- 23:07Speaker 2: brought this up already, but there was a moment on
- 23:10Speaker 2: my mom's birthday this year. So this was November, and
- 23:16Speaker 2: I was with Janet and I said, you know, I
- 23:19Speaker 2: really think something's going on between Raquel and Sandoval. She
- 23:23Speaker 2: was like, it's so weird you say that, because over
- 23:25Speaker 2: Thanksgiving we went over there and Ariana was really upset
- 23:29Speaker 2: in the guest room, talking about he's out there. Tom's
- 23:34Speaker 2: out there with Raquel like he always is, and I
- 23:38Speaker 2: don't know why we have to have people over all
- 23:40Speaker 2: the time. And Janet was like, yeah, they're out there,
- 23:45Speaker 2: Like she used the word frolicking in the pool.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Janet or Ariana said frolicking.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I don't know whose mouth it came out of, but
- 23:53Speaker 2: Janet said frolicking in the pool. And I said, it
- 23:57Speaker 2: was just many situations that kept happening that were like
- 24:01Speaker 2: that that. Like I've said a million times, we're confirming
- 24:05Speaker 2: what my goat was telling me. And I think that
- 24:09Speaker 2: people like Sandoval, people like my ex they're very, very
- 24:13Speaker 2: good at what they do and they don't even know
- 24:15Speaker 2: how to move another way. No, when they're convincing, absolutely,
- 24:19Speaker 2: that's the scariest part is in their mind they're not lying.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I knowing what they're saying. Do you think because I
- 24:28Speaker 1: would have said before tonight's episode, or before the episode
- 24:32Speaker 1: that we're discussing, I would have thought, yes, sand of
- 24:36Speaker 1: all is on that level of convincing himself. I'm not
- 24:39Speaker 1: lying in narcissism. But I would say Raquel wasn't. She isn't.
- 24:44Speaker 1: She's figured, she's figuring shit out and she's got a
- 24:47Speaker 1: lot of stuff to work on, but not on the
- 24:48Speaker 1: narcissism level. But then with this episode, I'm looking at
- 24:53Speaker 1: Raquel and they're talking about, oh my god, they're gaslighting people.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Sandoval sitting there gaslighting people who are bringing up him
- 25:01Speaker 1: and Raquel at the abbey, and she's kind of going
- 25:04Speaker 1: along with it. She's doing the whole Like I'm thinking
- 25:08Speaker 1: the scene at the restaurant where Sandoval's like, oh my god,
- 25:12Speaker 1: Katie talked about me and Raquel and Raquel's not to me.
- 25:17Speaker 1: My heart would beating.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And I would get up.
- 25:18Speaker 1: If I were Riquel, I'd be I can't fucking be here.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Well, I think she's letting him run the show, okay,
- 25:22Speaker 2: because I bet behind closed doors, he's telling her everything's fine,
- 25:27Speaker 2: this is how we're gonna do it. Just stick with
- 25:29Speaker 2: the plan. There was a plan in place, Yeah, there
- 25:32Speaker 2: had to have been. Don't you think like we're just
- 25:34Speaker 2: gonna act normal out in public.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yes, I think there was a plan, and I think
- 25:38Speaker 1: they got too comfortable. I think they got way too comfortable,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and thinking her going to his show, them dancing at
- 25:44Speaker 1: the abbey, I think they thought they were untouchable, just
- 25:47Speaker 1: like your ex and then your ex gallivanting in Nashville
- 25:52Speaker 1: like people aren't gonna fucking take a picture for La La, right,
- 25:55Speaker 1: not because I care about you, but for I just
- 25:58Speaker 1: think they get you.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Don't want to meet that person, sin Yeah, who took
- 26:01Speaker 2: the photos?
- 26:03Speaker 1: The person who took the photo. If you'd like to
- 26:06Speaker 1: DM the proof we need to know from your phone time, stamp.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Al, I would love to meet you and thank you
- 26:13Speaker 2: and sobbed you for literally saving my life.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, just DM the podcast with like photo like something
- 26:21Speaker 1: is the first two words, so I know when I look,
- 26:23Speaker 1: because we do get a ton of dms that it's
- 26:25Speaker 1: that's what it is.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I'm gonna meet you and give you
- 26:28Speaker 2: a big old La La hug. Speaking of La La,
- 26:32Speaker 2: let's speak of after after I go in on Schwartz.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Od Okay, I.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Went off on him. You're broke, You're a fucking loser.
- 26:45Speaker 2: You can't open a goddamn bar. Let me know when
- 26:47Speaker 2: I can walk in and order something I saw red. Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 2: And what I'm sure people who have kids may or
- 26:57Speaker 2: may not feel this way. The second you start saying
- 27:01Speaker 2: things that are directly you're directly coming for how I provide,
- 27:09Speaker 2: and it may not seem like a big deal to
- 27:10Speaker 2: you because you don't know the ins and outs, but
- 27:13Speaker 2: I am at war. Okay, at this point in time,
- 27:17Speaker 2: I'm at war. And every single thing that I sell,
- 27:22Speaker 2: every single thing that offers me a paycheck, my work
- 27:27Speaker 2: that is going into a fund that is protecting the
- 27:31Speaker 2: well being and future of ocean. So for you to
- 27:33Speaker 2: say that give them La Las, Corny, this, that and
- 27:36Speaker 2: the other, I am gonna fucking slice you and each
- 27:41Speaker 2: for breakfast. Yeah, I was furious. I don't think I've
- 27:44Speaker 2: ever been that level of furious with anybody in my life.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Well, I could tell you or furious. When were you triggered?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Do you remember? It was when he says the brand
- 27:56Speaker 2: was corny and then he walks away, and you know,
- 27:58Speaker 2: he said, I'm a thought times the human that you
- 28:02Speaker 2: will ever be fine. I don't need, I don't need
- 28:06Speaker 2: to go toes with you on who's the better human.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Like I'm very comfortable with who I am and the
- 28:12Speaker 2: way I live my life. I look at you and
- 28:14Speaker 2: I don't necessarily want anything that you have, and my
- 28:19Speaker 2: program teaches me to surround yourself with people who have
- 28:21Speaker 2: what you want. He doesn't have anything that I want,
- 28:26Speaker 2: and I don't have anything that he wants. All good,
- 28:29Speaker 2: let's leave it there. Now you're directly affecting my bank account,
- 28:33Speaker 2: which is not just mine.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Now.
- 28:34Speaker 2: This is like when my kid wants it's time for
- 28:37Speaker 2: her to go to school, when I get another legal bill.
- 28:41Speaker 1: So when he brought up your brands, it was like
- 28:43Speaker 1: because you walked away and then came back right he.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Walked away and I said, hold on one, like I'm
- 28:48Speaker 2: not finna, you better come back here. Let's fucking talk
- 28:51Speaker 2: about this. And you see him immediately retreat again eating,
- 28:54Speaker 2: saying you're a great mom. It's like, fuck you again.
- 28:57Speaker 2: This isn't about being a great mom. I know I'm
- 28:59Speaker 2: do you want an okay? Job here? This is about
- 29:02Speaker 2: providing for my child, okay. And every single moment that
- 29:06Speaker 2: goes by it is all directly related to Ocean. I'm
- 29:10Speaker 2: in a delicate situation. I could be sitting there with
- 29:13Speaker 2: a group of friends at a bar and you could
- 29:15Speaker 2: say I love beer, and I would sit there and go,
- 29:19Speaker 2: oh my gosh, the other day someone drank a beer
- 29:22Speaker 2: while I was with Ocean. There's just something inside of
- 29:25Speaker 2: me that anytime someone says anything, I find a way
- 29:29Speaker 2: to directly relate it to my daughter. And it's not
- 29:33Speaker 2: on purpose. It's just I don't know if I'm in
- 29:35Speaker 2: fight mode. I don't know if I'm in uncharted territory
- 29:38Speaker 2: where this is not normal. But I just felt this
- 29:41Speaker 2: sense of like complete and utter rage. But it's the truth.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I don't think it's not like he said something and
- 29:48Speaker 1: you connected it to ocean and us as the viewers
- 29:51Speaker 1: were like, well, that's a weird connection. No, that's the truth. Yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 1: that was the truth. Everything you said about your brands
- 29:58Speaker 1: and providing in the fund for her future, that's all true.
- 30:01Speaker 1: So of course that was triggered, and you know, of
- 30:03Speaker 1: course that was the response because that's the truth, right.
- 30:06Speaker 2: So I go the fuck off? Yeah, or Schwartz already
- 30:08Speaker 2: has an issue with me because of the text I
- 30:10Speaker 2: sent him a while ago. People have a really hard
- 30:12Speaker 2: time with my mouth and the things that I say
- 30:15Speaker 2: to me. They're not that bad. All I said was
- 30:18Speaker 2: your cut, and I said, you you couldn't even pick
- 30:20Speaker 2: your own wife's team. How the fuck could I expect
- 30:23Speaker 2: you to pick mine?
- 30:24Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:24Speaker 2: It didn't seem that deep. And I didn't take a dig,
- 30:28Speaker 2: he said, I took. You took a dig at my marriage.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I didn't take a dig at your marriage. Ever, I
- 30:32Speaker 2: took a dig at you in the marriage. The marriage
- 30:33Speaker 2: was beautiful, Yes, it could have been something great. You
- 30:37Speaker 2: weren't that great in it? All right, let's just call
- 30:38Speaker 2: it what it is anyway.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Perspective again, well, people have problems with honesty. You want
- 30:43Speaker 1: to trigger someone, be honest, say something too honest. You're
- 30:47Speaker 1: not gonna getriggered over something that's not honest. That's very true,
- 30:50Speaker 1: that's not reflecting of you. That's what's going to trigger you.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Is that.
- 30:53Speaker 1: That's exactly So that's why I couldn't let go enter
- 30:57Speaker 1: sand of all.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she doesn't know who she is whatever, Well it's
- 31:04Speaker 2: not a real name. There's a start with a therapist
- 31:07Speaker 2: as he's fucking a Rachel turned Raquel. The level of
- 31:13Speaker 2: just insanity and unawareness.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Disconnection, digestion, it's like, what the fuck.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Are I don't know who I am? As you have
- 31:26Speaker 2: a living feeling or a living girlfriend who you're thinking
- 31:30Speaker 2: about fertilizing her eggs and you're fucking her best friend,
- 31:33Speaker 2: who again is a Rachel, not a Raquel. Changed your
- 31:36Speaker 2: name when she was a little tiny tot because she
- 31:39Speaker 2: saw a prima ballerina named Raquel and she wanted to
- 31:42Speaker 2: be a Raquel, okay, but me little Lauren who just
- 31:47Speaker 2: like was walking around and just suddenly got the name Laala,
- 31:50Speaker 2: not even by choice.
- 31:52Speaker 1: This is what I mean. This episode takes him to
- 31:55Speaker 1: another level. It's like laughing yet I'm scared, like I'm laughing,
- 32:00Speaker 1: but with a very concerned look on my face, like
- 32:02Speaker 1: what's going on here? And it only gets worse until
- 32:05Speaker 1: the end. As we know.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I saw the preview last week for tonight's episode.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I mean, I need you to clarify because the talk
- 32:16Speaker 1: on Twitter, the talk on socials is all right, let's
- 32:19Speaker 1: be real. The producers knew it's too they didn't.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Can I tell you why? I know they did not
- 32:26Speaker 2: know in every single interview because we don't start really
- 32:31Speaker 2: doing interviews until the very end of the season, and
- 32:35Speaker 2: then we only do interviews right because the season's filmed
- 32:38Speaker 2: and like they're all done pretty much after the season
- 32:43Speaker 2: wrapped in what September seventeenth, yep, Okay. I would sit
- 32:49Speaker 2: in the interview chair and our producer would say, Lala, like,
- 32:55Speaker 2: there has to be something that you've seen. I don't
- 32:58Speaker 2: think they're hooking up. I think they're just tight friend group,
- 33:00Speaker 2: Like what have you seen? And of course they're obviously
- 33:03Speaker 2: very interested in and this is all off camera. This
- 33:06Speaker 2: is just between producer and me. Yeah, they're not filming this.
- 33:11Speaker 2: He like really wanted to know what I'd seen. Obviously,
- 33:14Speaker 2: throughout the season, I start becoming more comfortable. Okay, I'm
- 33:17Speaker 2: not the only one talking about this. Katie's like, I
- 33:20Speaker 2: don't think we're the only ones talking about this. Sounds
- 33:22Speaker 2: like Ali's a little suspicious as well. Yeah, it was
- 33:25Speaker 2: kind of the three of us that I'm seeing, yes,
- 33:27Speaker 2: being like we're slowly putting it together. I think I'm
- 33:31Speaker 2: the first one that's like, here's the deal. This is happening. Mm.
- 33:35Speaker 2: But I said to our producer, producer Jerry, something is
- 33:39Speaker 2: going on. He's like, I don't see it, but it
- 33:41Speaker 2: makes good TV me talking about this. They're like, roll
- 33:45Speaker 2: the camera. I was just talking about it right now.
- 33:47Speaker 1: But yes, and you look wounded, kind of saying that
- 33:50Speaker 1: that's also why it makes good TV. It's like, la, la,
- 33:52Speaker 1: don't bring you know what. You're passed into this. Nothing's
- 33:55Speaker 1: going on.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Everyone. You're bitter. Even at the reunion, you're gonna you're bitter.
- 34:02Speaker 2: You need to let you're angry. No, I'm not bitter
- 34:06Speaker 2: and angry. This is called I'm aware now. I know
- 34:11Speaker 2: that not everyone is good. In fact, most people are
- 34:14Speaker 2: not good. People are people right, You cannot control what
- 34:19Speaker 2: they do. Shit happens. I'm not willing to take that chance.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I don't like sitting there going you can come into
- 34:26Speaker 2: my life and I'm gonna trust you enough not to
- 34:29Speaker 2: fuck up. Nope, you immediately become a liability and I
- 34:32Speaker 2: don't want you around me. That's just the way it is.
- 34:35Speaker 1: No, it is crazy. Believe me. If I wasn't around
- 34:38Speaker 1: when you got the call and confirming everything, I would
- 34:41Speaker 1: be like, right there done. I was right there when
- 34:44Speaker 1: she got the call, and it was explosive in an
- 34:48Speaker 1: emotional way when it was confirmed about scandaval and and
- 34:52Speaker 1: not just on Lawless end. I'm talking like Productions end two.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It was not expected. And if I wasn't sitting right
- 34:59Speaker 1: here when Lala got the confirmation call about it, I
- 35:03Speaker 1: would have been like, come on. I would have been
- 35:05Speaker 1: with all of these people saying like someone new, someone new.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I would have because I would have been like, Laala,
- 35:09Speaker 1: come on, just tell me, just tell me, because it
- 35:12Speaker 1: looks like production new. The titles, the scenes that haven't
- 35:16Speaker 1: been edited like all of it.
- 35:17Speaker 2: No, it was just the most high level foreshadowing you've
- 35:20Speaker 2: ever experienced in your life because of the things that
- 35:24Speaker 2: were happening. It was like you kissed Schwortzy and that
- 35:27Speaker 2: was like a big deal, but the audience would have
- 35:29Speaker 2: been torn. You've been calling me a mistress. It all
- 35:32Speaker 2: adds up to the season. Had this never happened. Yeah, wild, No,
- 35:36Speaker 2: it is wild. And I remember that day saying they're
- 35:39Speaker 2: picking cameras back up.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Oh my god. That was when he.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Texted me, do you know what's going on? They're saying,
- 35:44Speaker 2: I can't I can't go do watch Rabins Live, that
- 35:46Speaker 2: everyone has to stay in town for the next week
- 35:48Speaker 2: and a half. They're picking cameras back up. I was like,
- 35:52Speaker 2: we got season eleven already, you.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Were and then then yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Something is wrong. Thing happened. I immediately felt it. I said,
- 36:03Speaker 2: I got a call Sheena. Something happened. She was with
- 36:05Speaker 2: Raquel that night for watch what happens? I called her.
- 36:09Speaker 1: She didn't even tell you either, but she coded it well.
- 36:12Speaker 2: First I texted Jeremiah, our producer, and I said, I
- 36:15Speaker 2: know that you don't want you want cameras up before
- 36:18Speaker 2: we find out. But again, you guys, this is real life.
- 36:20Speaker 2: These are our real friend groups. Like we don't say like, oh,
- 36:23Speaker 2: we only talk when cameras are up. Yeah, no, like
- 36:27Speaker 2: you better get a camera to my office right now
- 36:29Speaker 2: because I'm gonna threw what the fuck is going on?
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yes, you're not just gonna wait around. You have to.
- 36:34Speaker 1: It's friends, they're your friends.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Friends, these are life people. Yeah. So I texted him first,
- 36:40Speaker 2: just to make sure you know that everyone was safe,
- 36:42Speaker 2: and okay, I didn't know. Was someone diagnosed with a
- 36:45Speaker 2: terminal illness? Like we've never picked cameras back up for
- 36:49Speaker 2: any fucking reason.
- 36:50Speaker 1: You were thinking the worst? Did say, yeah, the sickness, Like,
- 36:53Speaker 1: what's going on?
- 36:55Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I was thinking. Yeah, he said everyone,
- 37:00Speaker 2: everyone is healthy. Yes, And so then I called Shena
- 37:03Speaker 2: and I said what's going on? She said I can't
- 37:05Speaker 2: talk right now, and I said, just tell me. Is
- 37:07Speaker 2: it what I've been suspecting? And she said yes, I
- 37:10Speaker 2: have to go. She hangs up, calls me back because
- 37:14Speaker 2: she was doing whatever she was doing, and I just
- 37:17Speaker 2: broke down.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Yes, that's how I was going to say. She said,
- 37:19Speaker 1: Lalla starts bawling and that's how you know, why did
- 37:22Speaker 1: you start crying in that moment?
- 37:23Speaker 2: Well, I started crying because I immediately felt for Ariana,
- 37:27Speaker 2: you know, that gut punch. But there was so much like,
- 37:33Speaker 2: there was a lot of I don't want to say hate,
- 37:35Speaker 2: but there was a lot of tension between Katie and
- 37:39Speaker 2: Shina and I had become good with both of them,
- 37:43Speaker 2: and you know, it was an uncomfortable position because it
- 37:48Speaker 2: was there. There were a lot of feelings that were
- 37:50Speaker 2: very extreme feelings between the two of them. And we
- 37:53Speaker 2: were in Palm Springs a few weeks before and we
- 37:58Speaker 2: were talking about Katie and Raquel, and she just said, well,
- 38:02Speaker 2: at least my best friend, because I was telling her
- 38:05Speaker 2: her friends stupid Raquel. Yeah, and she goes, well, at
- 38:07Speaker 2: least my friend, my best friend's not a bit and
- 38:10Speaker 2: she's nice. And I said, yeah, we're gonna see about that.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We're gonna see about that. And so I said to
- 38:15Speaker 2: her on the phone, I said, you know, you may
- 38:18Speaker 2: not like the words that come out of Katie's mouth,
- 38:20Speaker 2: because she know was really hurt by Katie in one
- 38:23Speaker 2: of the episodes, saying her word her world is going
- 38:26Speaker 2: to fall apart, and I'm gonna smile or I'm gonna
- 38:28Speaker 2: laugh like she know really her O C D kicked
- 38:32Speaker 2: in and was like, that's my biggest fear, which I get,
- 38:34Speaker 2: but to me again, sticks and stones. I said, you
- 38:36Speaker 2: may not like what comes out of Katy's mouth, but
- 38:39Speaker 2: Katie would never fucking do this to a friend. She
- 38:43Speaker 2: would never do this to a person, and just all
- 38:48Speaker 2: all help broke loose. Yeah, it was insane. Let's end
- 38:52Speaker 2: this on a very very high note.
- 38:54Speaker 1: So let's please Because the episode ended on Sandaval smiling,
- 38:58Speaker 1: can we just talk about that moment? I want to
- 39:00Speaker 1: know what you think smiling and being asked by producer
- 39:05Speaker 1: Jerry have you and Raquel ever been physical? And him
- 39:10Speaker 1: looking at the camera with that fucking smile and being
- 39:13Speaker 1: like whatever.
- 39:14Speaker 2: He said, it would be like me hooking up with Katie.
- 39:18Speaker 2: It was like the longest pause I've ever seen them
- 39:21Speaker 2: just sit on someone's face and I.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Was like, oh my god.
- 39:27Speaker 2: He was way too fumbly, and then him saying Katie
- 39:30Speaker 2: needs to take accountability and you should be with someone
- 39:32Speaker 2: for who they are, not who you want them to be.
- 39:35Speaker 2: That ugh is he said something like that is whats ipe?
- 39:40Speaker 2: He goes, that is what's up? Katie, Wow, so profound,
- 39:44Speaker 2: standa bal you should be like a philosopher, like you
- 39:47Speaker 2: shut up.
- 39:49Speaker 1: It's scary and it's only getting scarier. I don't know.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Nothin back to James Kennedy, I watched that scene of
- 39:58Speaker 2: the one fifty one in the eye drid and fifteen
- 40:00Speaker 2: times one hundred and fifty one times. Ali.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You know what I thought from the preview. I thought
- 40:10Speaker 1: he had touched a jalapeno and rubbed and rubbed his
- 40:13Speaker 1: eye and was screaming for Alie to help him.
- 40:14Speaker 2: No, And so I was rewinding and I was like,
- 40:16Speaker 2: how did the straw get into the eye? How did
- 40:20Speaker 2: it flip? Did she do it? Yes, she's holding it
- 40:24Speaker 2: and he says, I dare you Christina, And he puts
- 40:26Speaker 2: the straw and Alley's in between James and Christina, I
- 40:29Speaker 2: dare you to drink the middle. Ali clearly is annoyed
- 40:32Speaker 2: with him, and like goes to move it and it
- 40:35Speaker 2: into flips into his eye. I could not stop. That
- 40:44Speaker 2: was the funniest scene. And why was she so funny?
- 40:49Speaker 2: And now when he was screaming Ali, it was like, oh, Ali,
- 40:51Speaker 2: you probably should have gone did it?
- 40:55Speaker 1: I thought he was just screaming her name as like Halle, Ali.
- 41:01Speaker 2: No, that's how.
- 41:06Speaker 1: He is so fucking funny.
- 41:08Speaker 2: And she had logic. She was like one fifty one
- 41:11Speaker 2: and she goes, I've heard of that, and I go,
- 41:14Speaker 2: you have and she was like, yeah, that guy sings
- 41:16Speaker 2: about it one fifty one, Rum Malibu who it's my
- 41:21Speaker 2: Tech nine Jews, Pineapple Juice and Malabu Caribou. Get them
- 41:26Speaker 2: ma all numb? Make baby girl come, you're mock. I
- 41:30Speaker 2: was like, I've heard this song. I'm like, what have
- 41:34Speaker 2: you been listening to? Tech nine?
- 41:37Speaker 1: Tech nine hood Go Crazy used to be my fucking jam.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Tech Nine's legit as it gets h James, that was good.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And you know what I think James and Ali. I
- 41:48Speaker 1: think no matter what I've said on the past podcast,
- 41:51Speaker 1: they they balance each other. Am I yelling I'm so
- 41:54Speaker 1: excited to guys, I'm screaming.
- 41:55Speaker 2: You were screaming to them in the background. It was
- 41:57Speaker 2: like they were here in the other room and James
- 42:00Speaker 2: and Allie, James and Allie.
- 42:02Speaker 1: If you can hear me right now, guys, this office
- 42:06Speaker 1: probably hates me so much.
- 42:07Speaker 2: I need to make it clear it's me and not
- 42:09Speaker 2: yet well you know, no, it is not you. That
- 42:11Speaker 2: was the first time you've ever done that ever. Ever,
- 42:14Speaker 2: you know, Katie's stylist is across the hall, and I
- 42:17Speaker 2: went over and met her and I was like, I'm
- 42:18Speaker 2: sure you hear me yelling all the time and she
- 42:20Speaker 2: was like yeah, and it's not yelling like mean. I
- 42:23Speaker 2: just like kind of when I get like abrupt, I'm
- 42:26Speaker 2: like you, motherfucker. But it's not even about you.
- 42:30Speaker 1: No, it's like you. No, you're passionate about it, and
- 42:33Speaker 1: then you get energy. That's how I get. It's like
- 42:36Speaker 1: ocean when she gets excited. That's how I feel.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Yeah, with it totally.
- 42:41Speaker 1: But anyway, no matter what I've said, I think they
- 42:43Speaker 1: balance each other out.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Well.
- 42:44Speaker 1: The fact that he was like a ah and she
- 42:46Speaker 1: was laughing and then he came back out and he's like.
- 42:49Speaker 2: And I heard you laughing, or however he said, nobody
- 42:51Speaker 2: wants to watch you make a fool of yourself. No
- 42:54Speaker 2: one's enjoying it. Sit down, shut up?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yes with her Burger, didn't she sit down?
- 43:00Speaker 2: Shut up? For her? In hand, she is such a vibe.
- 43:05Speaker 1: She's really a vibe. And every episode I see I'm like, okay, okay.
- 43:10Speaker 2: I just like the way I like the way that
- 43:12Speaker 2: she talks. Yeah, when she said in her interview, like
- 43:15Speaker 2: get over it or don't get over but don't have
- 43:17Speaker 2: a new girlfriend, she just makes all the sense.
- 43:19Speaker 1: You guys have similar tendencies.
- 43:22Speaker 2: We do want a compliment.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Yeah, James must be attracted to that in women.
- 43:27Speaker 2: I don't know, because look at Raquel.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I don't know. He's brought some pretty buffoonery looking bitches around.
- 43:32Speaker 2: You know. And by the way, my mom never thinks
- 43:35Speaker 2: anyone's pretty like she doesn't. I don't get it. I'll
- 43:39Speaker 2: point out a supermodel. She's like me. Every time Ali
- 43:43Speaker 2: pops up on screen, She's like, she is so beautiful.
- 43:47Speaker 2: She is her smile, look at that smile.
- 43:50Speaker 1: The healthy hair.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Fuck her for that hair. I was like, are you
- 43:55Speaker 2: what do you use it in that hair?
- 43:57Speaker 1: Tell us your secret?
- 43:58Speaker 2: You've got a neutrafil like Arsenal, how do you get
- 44:02Speaker 2: that hair? She must?
- 44:04Speaker 1: I want you to have her on this podcast because
- 44:06Speaker 1: I think she that would be very good.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Let's get her on. I would love that anyway. You
- 44:10Speaker 2: guys this, I'm like, so, I don't know that. I
- 44:15Speaker 2: hope that you enjoyed this episode of Give Them La
- 44:18Speaker 2: La Podcast. I'm kind of bummed because we're recording it
