- 2:02Speaker 2: All right, guys, welcome back e y L. This is
- 2:05Speaker 2: Legends only, another Legends only edition. This is a fact.
- 2:09Speaker 2: You know, it's always fun for us to talk to
- 2:11Speaker 2: legends in the game, and when we say the game
- 2:14Speaker 2: as far as hip hop, but entrepreneur game as well.
- 2:16Speaker 2: But you know, we grew up on music, so coming
- 2:18Speaker 2: from New York, you know we was heavy East Coast influence.
- 2:22Speaker 3: That's a fact.
- 2:23Speaker 2: But you know, a lot of people from the West
- 2:24Speaker 2: Coast really changed the game and really got up y.
- 2:30Speaker 2: So of course, you know, you think about the obvious
- 2:32Speaker 2: name Snoop and Dre, but you can't talk to West
- 2:34Speaker 2: Coast without forty Rally sprink.
- 2:44Speaker 3: That was the first time I asked you, it's crazy.
- 2:47Speaker 3: That was the song that got me. It was that shug.
- 2:54Speaker 4: My brother played out.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Like who's that were like, it's that news vibe. It's
- 2:58Speaker 5: called forty. I'm like forty, I dig it, I dig it.
- 3:03Speaker 5: So he needs on introduction. E forty, you know, legendary
- 3:07Speaker 5: just in every aspect of the game. He's actually been
- 3:10Speaker 5: in the hip hop game for thirty five years. That's crazy.
- 3:12Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I was born in eighty four. He came out in
- 3:15Speaker 2: eighty six. Yeah, so that's crazy. The long Jemmy is
- 3:19Speaker 2: just that might be the Guinness Book of World Records,
- 3:23Speaker 2: Like yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Short, is it too short? Too short?
- 3:28Speaker 3: And like iced tea, you know, but you.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Know, I came out, My actual first project came out
- 3:35Speaker 6: in nineteen eighty eight.
- 3:37Speaker 4: It was music on the shelves and everything.
- 3:39Speaker 6: I haven't rapping since I heard sugar Hill Brand Gang
- 3:41Speaker 6: when I was you know, in nineteen seventy nine. I
- 3:44Speaker 6: was eleven years old. Everybody was kids back then, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 6: for my age group. But anyway, you could just say
- 3:51Speaker 6: I start. My first official album came out in nineteen
- 3:53Speaker 6: eighty eight, so that's thirty three years.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's still a long damn time and lifetime. But I
- 3:58Speaker 2: mean I was rapping at college in eighties, in eighty six.
- 4:00Speaker 6: That's where you got eighty six from Okay, talent shows
- 4:03Speaker 6: and stuff like that, you know, in college at ground
- 4:05Speaker 6: State University.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, So let's get into this. Let's get
- 4:09Speaker 2: into this. We we always love to talk from a
- 4:13Speaker 2: different perspective. Most people they give interviews, and if they're
- 4:16Speaker 2: entertainment or their sports, it's always about their career as
- 4:18Speaker 2: far as the musician or their career as an athlete.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But I feel like, you know, people have way more
- 4:23Speaker 2: to offer than just you know, what meets the eye.
- 4:26Speaker 2: And e forty to a perfect example this as far
- 4:28Speaker 2: as being an entrepreneur. So we'll talk about all the
- 4:30Speaker 2: different things that he has going on. But first and foremost,
- 4:34Speaker 2: I want to ask you because you're known as like
- 4:37Speaker 2: a pioneer in this entrepreneur space. Now it's cool to
- 4:40Speaker 2: be entrepreneur hip hop, but it wasn't always cool to
- 4:42Speaker 2: be an entrepreneur hip hop. And you guys, Independent, I believe,
- 4:46Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong. Like even with Sick with
- 4:48Speaker 2: It records like y'all like kind of pioneered that selling
- 4:51Speaker 2: out the Trump vibe. And I think even when Master
- 4:52Speaker 2: P went to California and that kind of really inspired.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Him to really you know what I'm saying. You can
- 4:57Speaker 3: see the similarity.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so what let's take it back to the beginning stages.
- 5:01Speaker 2: What made you go to independent route and how did
- 5:06Speaker 2: that look in the late eighties early nineties.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Well, you know, being in the Bay Area, we kind
- 5:12Speaker 6: of built for that kind of stuff. You know, as
- 5:15Speaker 6: a teenager, you know, you know, I had a clothing
- 5:19Speaker 6: store man, you know, on Solonno Avenue in Millersville, in Vale.
- 5:24Speaker 3: California, and I knew I was on my way.
- 5:27Speaker 4: To be an entrepreneur then, you know.
- 5:30Speaker 6: And you know with music, when we you know, we
- 5:33Speaker 6: actually had to you know, we ain't had no choice, bro,
- 5:37Speaker 6: We didn't have the opportunities that at a lot of
- 5:40Speaker 6: other rappers, especially New York rappers.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Bro, like New York rappers, that's where it's from.
- 5:45Speaker 6: So you know, they had a little easier, no disrespect,
- 5:48Speaker 6: just like we just I'm from a small city, so
- 5:50Speaker 6: I had it.
- 5:51Speaker 3: We had it kind of harder than any city in the.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Bay Area we from. I'm from Vallejll, California.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Not Oakland, not San Francisco, not Richmond, Layhell, you know
- 6:00Speaker 6: what I mean. But we vlailed rock with all soils.
- 6:04Speaker 6: But anyway, you know, it was by force, not choice.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Man.
- 6:08Speaker 4: You know, if I had.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Opportunities other rappers had back then, maybe I would have
- 6:13Speaker 6: did it, you know. But then again, I was always
- 6:15Speaker 6: a businessman, and my uncle Saint Charles taught me, well
- 6:18Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying, So I always if it
- 6:20Speaker 6: made sense. If it didn't make good business sense, it
- 6:23Speaker 6: don't make sense at all. So that's what I was
- 6:25Speaker 6: always told, you know what I mean. So we did
- 6:29Speaker 6: it the right way man. You know, started off selling
- 6:31Speaker 6: the tapes out the trunk of the car on consignment.
- 6:33Speaker 6: You know, I'm sure y'all heard the story before of me.
- 6:35Speaker 6: And then you know, with my uncle Saint Charles, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 6: having this big book like an encyclopedia, full of addresses
- 6:41Speaker 6: that he just put together slowly but surely, day after day,
- 6:44Speaker 6: months after months and put it together. And it was
- 6:47Speaker 6: every retailer that dealt with hip hop music in the nation.
- 6:51Speaker 6: And he would send out a one sheet along with
- 6:53Speaker 6: some CDs and a cassette or whatever at the time
- 6:56Speaker 6: and say, hey, if you like this, you know what
- 6:57Speaker 6: I'm saying, go.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Ahead and order from this.
- 6:58Speaker 6: You had a barcode of our albums on there and
- 7:01Speaker 6: have like a detailed how would you say this, like
- 7:05Speaker 6: a bio of everything that we had going and where
- 7:09Speaker 6: we were from and all this and uh. And he
- 7:11Speaker 6: put it together like the weather man and so you
- 7:13Speaker 6: know us with the great music we had, you know,
- 7:15Speaker 6: because you know, all the soils was rocking with us
- 7:17Speaker 6: because we were speaking.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Everything we were speaking, they was living.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, So curve, we were just
- 7:23Speaker 2: the curve commentators you know that actually was in it.
- 7:26Speaker 4: You feel me not not no fake shit, you know.
- 7:28Speaker 3: So that's how.
- 7:29Speaker 7: I'm unfolded in the late eighties obviously for the hip
- 7:33Speaker 7: hop area that this is a different, different type of
- 7:35Speaker 7: sound Laos obviously a lot different from other parts of California.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Who who was the musical influence that you're pairing your
- 7:42Speaker 7: game after at the time, as far as us CEO's
- 7:46Speaker 7: are just rappers at all, but just rappers.
- 7:48Speaker 6: See, yeah, rappers. I would have to say, too short,
- 7:53Speaker 6: Big Bro, too short. Uh empty Hammer, I would say,
- 7:59Speaker 6: uh uh, Magic Mike and Calvinty out of Richmond, California.
- 8:03Speaker 6: If you're looking at style, the style of rapping, the
- 8:07Speaker 6: game that they were spitting and you know, and all
- 8:10Speaker 6: that stuff combined.
- 8:12Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying that that all unfolded Hammer with.
- 8:14Speaker 6: His you know, taking things to a whole other worldwide
- 8:18Speaker 6: stage and just being from the band, just letting the
- 8:20Speaker 6: whole world for everybody know MC Hammer to short his
- 8:23Speaker 6: game and you know, his selling making customized taste for
- 8:27Speaker 6: dudes in the hoods, you know. You know what I'm saying,
- 8:29Speaker 6: stuff like that, and then you know, and then it's
- 8:31Speaker 6: circulating and everybody dubbing it just double the uh the
- 8:34Speaker 6: conssed just like Calvalti and Magic Mic and they style
- 8:37Speaker 6: and you know what I'm saying, it's like it was,
- 8:38Speaker 6: it was just game infested. Then on another note, you
- 8:41Speaker 6: know you got to look at you know, I grew
- 8:43Speaker 6: up listening to Grand Master Flash, the Furious Five. I
- 8:47Speaker 6: can't Maley mailed them. Grew up listening to run them said,
- 8:49Speaker 6: I grew up listening to ll who J. Cars One
- 8:54Speaker 6: is a big influence of me. Uh that that I
- 8:56Speaker 6: love cars One. You know, Chuck d you can say
- 9:00Speaker 6: iced tea for sure. You know what I'm saying, Ice T.
- 9:02Speaker 6: People don't know.
- 9:03Speaker 3: How it came up.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Ice tea really is and really was back then to
- 9:07Speaker 6: this day. Bro too, you know what I'm saying. So
- 9:10Speaker 6: it's so it's many, it's many others man. So that's
- 9:14Speaker 6: that's what I was, you know, that's what I was watching.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Uh.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I love Luke Skywalker, Jay Prince, you know for their
- 9:21Speaker 2: uh you.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Know, co status like being the owner of companies and
- 9:25Speaker 6: they you know, they was up against a lot like
- 9:27Speaker 6: government was trying to like everybody, like the States and
- 9:29Speaker 6: the in the States they were in, there was a
- 9:32Speaker 6: lot of people against hip hop and they stood strong
- 9:35Speaker 6: on the front line about the about this culture. People
- 9:38Speaker 6: like that mean a lot, you know what I mean.
- 9:40Speaker 6: And we got to give people they roses in their
- 9:42Speaker 6: gardens and you know what I'm saying, they flowers while
- 9:44Speaker 6: they're here, because that's that's what I'm here to do,
- 9:46Speaker 6: because we ain't gonna always be here.
- 9:48Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. So you know that's how
- 9:52Speaker 4: I go.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Man, So at what point one, I want to talk
- 9:56Speaker 2: about your spirits business? But even before that, at what
- 9:59Speaker 2: point did you realize you diversified? Because I believe correct
- 10:01Speaker 2: me if I'm wrong. You had a fat Burger. Change,
- 10:05Speaker 2: that's the first stop I ever heard of it as
- 10:07Speaker 2: a fat Burger.
- 10:08Speaker 4: So at what point of wingstop that was in motion?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Too?
- 10:11Speaker 2: It didn't get it didn't get built due to the
- 10:13Speaker 2: fact that at that time, it was two thousand and eight,
- 10:15Speaker 2: two thousand and nine, we was in a recession.
- 10:18Speaker 3: And I'll tell you.
- 10:19Speaker 6: About that story one on a whole nother note, but
- 10:21Speaker 6: it we I had. I was in the at least
- 10:23Speaker 6: for five years. I went to Texas, you know what
- 10:25Speaker 6: I'm saying, and got and got the contracts done and everything.
- 10:28Speaker 6: I was locked in, like, had the plans already built
- 10:30Speaker 6: out everything, you know what I'm saying for for wingstock.
- 10:35Speaker 2: For wingstopager Flatburger was up and running for three years
- 10:38Speaker 2: along me and my business partner on that was my man,
- 10:40Speaker 2: the lake Chester Mclockton. Okay, yeah, and then so you
- 10:46Speaker 2: had a fat Burger and then you was gonna get
- 10:47Speaker 2: a wingstop and then the recession came and then they
- 10:49Speaker 2: just pulled the funding as far as like bank bank financing, but.
- 10:53Speaker 6: Now the bank financial At that time, you know, it
- 10:55Speaker 6: wasn't about the money. It was just I had spent
- 10:58Speaker 6: like six hundred thousand dollars on my own cash money
- 11:01Speaker 6: on wing on Fatburger, and so you know, instead of
- 11:04Speaker 6: I had that on the next round. When I was
- 11:06Speaker 6: getting the wings, I was like, man, let me try
- 11:07Speaker 6: to get along.
- 11:08Speaker 4: It was the wrong time. It was during the recession.
- 11:10Speaker 6: It was giving loans no matter how good your credit was,
- 11:12Speaker 6: no matter what you had, no matter what.
- 11:14Speaker 4: And I was like, I couldn't get the loan.
- 11:16Speaker 6: So I just I just I just backed up and
- 11:18Speaker 6: just brought myself out of the lease, the five year lease,
- 11:21Speaker 6: and just had to pay a few dollars and to
- 11:23Speaker 6: get out of it. You know, it was it was money.
- 11:25Speaker 6: It was money spent that I didn't gain no profit from.
- 11:28Speaker 6: But it's okay, you know, cause I you know, I
- 11:30Speaker 6: got bounced back abilities.
- 11:32Speaker 4: You know.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I also had also had a club, you know, out
- 11:35Speaker 2: there in San Jose.
- 11:37Speaker 4: It was called the Ambassador's Lounge.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Many people came to visit that, you know, from all
- 11:43Speaker 6: over many many stars and my man Big Big von
- 11:47Speaker 6: Johnson cam Yale was the DJ there every Friday, so
- 11:50Speaker 6: we had that thing cracking.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Man, it was going down. Was the energy drink happening
- 11:54Speaker 3: around this time?
- 11:54Speaker 7: So forty one is during the time of the fat
- 11:57Speaker 7: Burger and the Wings South potential.
- 12:00Speaker 4: After you said.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Energy drink, oh youre talking about forty water. So I
- 12:04Speaker 3: did that with my man Kobe. Kobe. Kobe got in me.
- 12:08Speaker 6: So first of all, before that, when I had my cloth,
- 12:11Speaker 6: when I have my club, the the Ambassador's Lounge, I
- 12:14Speaker 6: was working on like a hypnotic h kind of duplicate.
- 12:19Speaker 6: It was called it was gonna be called Cloud nine,
- 12:21Speaker 6: but that fell through that we didn't I didn't get
- 12:24Speaker 6: that going because I didn't have all the avenues, you know, licens.
- 12:27Speaker 4: It was a lot of things I didn't know. I
- 12:28Speaker 4: wasn't seasoned like I am now.
- 12:31Speaker 6: And then uh, Kobe had got in me because he
- 12:33Speaker 6: already had high fee Hyphie energy drink popping during during
- 12:37Speaker 6: the Hyphee movement, and he was like.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Fody, man, let me let me show you something I
- 12:40Speaker 2: want to I want to sit down with you.
- 12:42Speaker 6: He sat down with me and he showed me the
- 12:43Speaker 6: artwork to forty water, which is a kind of like
- 12:46Speaker 6: a vitamin water at the time, and we and we
- 12:50Speaker 6: did that, we made a few dollars and uh, you
- 12:52Speaker 6: know that kind of you know went its way, you
- 12:54Speaker 6: know what I'm saying, because we was getting kind of
- 12:56Speaker 6: like I ain't even lie, it was kind of getting
- 12:58Speaker 6: kicked off the shelves by other company, you know, ship
- 13:01Speaker 6: like that happens, you know, your shelf space. They're like, man,
- 13:04Speaker 6: they're giving us too much competition. We're gonna move them
- 13:06Speaker 6: off the way, you know what I'm saying, Like that happened.
- 13:08Speaker 6: So but I can't just blame it on that. It's
- 13:10Speaker 6: just that went away. That's okay. I didn't have full
- 13:13Speaker 6: control of that, you know, I think Kobe for you know,
- 13:15Speaker 6: coming through with that. But everything I do from here
- 13:18Speaker 6: on out full control of anything, period and from start
- 13:21Speaker 6: to finish. That's my entrepreneur is kicking in. Man, you
- 13:24Speaker 6: feel me, and uh, you know, there's many things in
- 13:27Speaker 6: the making. Man, you dig I talk your ear off.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I love to talk.
- 13:30Speaker 4: You better know it from the bay and.
- 13:38Speaker 8: Don't say so let's let's let's let's get into this
- 13:42Speaker 8: as far as one hundred percent ownership you all right, So, yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 8: you're from northern California.
- 13:53Speaker 6: The same the same as the Emerald Triangle in the
- 13:56Speaker 6: in the uh in Napa and in wine country Nappa
- 13:59Speaker 6: Napa Valley.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Now you're right next to you, right next to the
- 14:05Speaker 2: Napa which the wine country. That's where you know, a
- 14:09Speaker 2: lot of wine is harvest and it's well known for line.
- 14:14Speaker 2: But we don't really see a lot of black entrepreneurs
- 14:16Speaker 2: in the spirit space, especially in the Wan space. Wine
- 14:19Speaker 2: it's like one of these things where it's like a
- 14:20Speaker 2: high end, you know, it's luxury. I so, a how
- 14:26Speaker 2: did you get into the wine space? What made you
- 14:28Speaker 2: because most rappers it's champagne is you know, it's like
- 14:33Speaker 2: vodka stuff like that. You don't really see too many
- 14:35Speaker 2: rappers champion wine, like you know, that's not very commonplace.
- 14:41Speaker 2: So what made you get into the wine space and
- 14:43Speaker 2: how did you get into the Wane space as a
- 14:45Speaker 2: you know, black entrepreneur.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Like I said, I'm right next to Napa. It only
- 14:51Speaker 4: made sense.
- 14:51Speaker 6: And not only that, but I've always everyone knows, everyone
- 14:56Speaker 6: that's followed my music for many years, from the beginning
- 14:58Speaker 6: for thirty three years.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Know that's all I talk about.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Out as wine.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I mean all the time, like even if it wasn't mine.
- 15:04Speaker 6: Uh, Gallo makes a wine called Colorassi, big jug of wine.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Everybody has seen it.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Every family has had a big jug of wine at
- 15:12Speaker 6: the at the house. You know what they're saying during
- 15:15Speaker 6: gatherings and stuff. So I used to you know, uh,
- 15:18Speaker 6: my mom used to keep Colorassi around. She had the
- 15:21Speaker 6: Rhine and she would have the Burgundy. Uh and and
- 15:25Speaker 6: maybe sometime that should bleed. But I took a liking
- 15:29Speaker 6: to the to the to the uh to the to
- 15:32Speaker 6: the Rhine and the.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Burgundy.
- 15:35Speaker 6: And so you know, at parties and the gatherings and everything,
- 15:39Speaker 6: I'm bringing a drug with me.
- 15:40Speaker 4: You know. It was to the point where you know,
- 15:42Speaker 4: I'm so soil.
- 15:43Speaker 6: You know, I'm saying, I go to Ruth Chris back
- 15:44Speaker 6: in the days, you know, I pay the corkish feet
- 15:47Speaker 6: the fifteen twenty dollar crookids free and.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Bring in a big ass battle of wine. Uh col
- 15:51Speaker 2: ROSSI red wine Burgundy and uh and and and drink
- 15:54Speaker 2: that and they and then my cat all my dudes
- 15:57Speaker 2: be like, man, you got bread white, you just don't
- 15:58Speaker 2: get some.
- 15:59Speaker 7: Some high power.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I would ask why, And I say, right, now at
- 16:02Speaker 4: this moment, I won't this. You feel me. I haven't drunk,
- 16:07Speaker 4: I haven't had drunk. I haven't drunk.
- 16:09Speaker 6: Carlo Rossi and I loved them because they had a
- 16:12Speaker 6: big influence, you know, Gallo. But I got my own
- 16:15Speaker 6: wine now, so you know I haven't drunk. And since
- 16:18Speaker 6: I made my own wine, which was twenty thirteen, I
- 16:20Speaker 6: got Earl Stephens selections. You know what I'm saying. I'll
- 16:23Speaker 6: be on this right here. You feel what I'm saying.
- 16:25Speaker 6: This is not you know Earl Stevens selections. You know
- 16:28Speaker 6: function red blend.
- 16:29Speaker 3: So I think that's brilliant. Man.
- 16:32Speaker 7: A couple of things you did. Obviously, you branded it
- 16:35Speaker 7: and you named it after yourself. Well you're Pep, the
- 16:37Speaker 7: world is you as he forty.
- 16:38Speaker 9: They didn't know Earl seeds and probably some people still
- 16:40Speaker 9: don't know what el seeds right?
- 16:42Speaker 3: Why you specifically named it after that?
- 16:43Speaker 7: And number two, you went straight to online was selling
- 16:47Speaker 7: it before you even hit shows.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So what was the playing behind that?
- 16:50Speaker 6: Well, you know, straight to consumer is like the best
- 16:52Speaker 6: thing right now, Like you know, you're cutting out the ason.
- 16:55Speaker 6: It's like it's beautiful, you know, and you know it's
- 16:59Speaker 6: good to have your stuff in the retail stores and all.
- 17:01Speaker 6: That's fine, that's that's better too, But stretches, I mean,
- 17:04Speaker 6: you're cutting out all the hard costs, all that stuff,
- 17:07Speaker 6: you know, when you go straight to consumers. So I
- 17:09Speaker 6: started off like that and the demand got really big.
- 17:12Speaker 6: It got really big. First of all, I forgot tell
- 17:14Speaker 6: you I named wyan Earl Stevens because I didn't want
- 17:17Speaker 6: to name a wine E forty. This just don't sound
- 17:19Speaker 6: right for a wine, you know what I'm saying. I figure,
- 17:22Speaker 6: you know, you got names out there. People name they,
- 17:24Speaker 6: you know, their wines after their last name or some
- 17:27Speaker 6: of the family members and stuff like that. So I
- 17:29Speaker 6: was like, let me call it Earl Stevens. You know,
- 17:31Speaker 6: that's a square ass name, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:33Speaker 6: I'm a hip square even though I'm gamed up. But
- 17:35Speaker 6: Earl Stevens sound you know, that sounds real, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 6: kind of luxurious. Earl Stevens.
- 17:40Speaker 4: You feel me.
- 17:43Speaker 6: So that's why I did. That's why I did that.
- 17:45Speaker 6: But uh, getting back to uh, you know, selling it online.
- 17:48Speaker 6: The uh did it online and it just starts flying,
- 17:51Speaker 6: like flying, flying, flying, to the point where the de
- 17:54Speaker 6: man got so big with all retailers was accent. How
- 17:57Speaker 6: do we get it? How do we get it? Thanks
- 17:58Speaker 6: to the power of social media, you know, thanks to
- 18:01Speaker 6: the power of social media. I had those requests coming
- 18:03Speaker 6: in from all of my fans all over the place,
- 18:06Speaker 6: you know.
- 18:07Speaker 4: And so also.
- 18:08Speaker 2: When you sell it on wine online, you can get
- 18:11Speaker 2: it delivered directly to your door, you.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Know what I'm saying. And you can be anywhere that accepts.
- 18:18Speaker 4: You know, shipping.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Some states don't accept.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Shipping, you know, shipping wine and then liquor, you know
- 18:23Speaker 6: what I'm saying. So that's how I went man. And
- 18:26Speaker 6: so the demand got so big where I had to
- 18:27Speaker 6: put it in the retail stores. I had to I
- 18:29Speaker 6: had to get a distributor and send it out.
- 18:32Speaker 2: So what is the process of actually having a wine company? Like,
- 18:37Speaker 2: because it's like wine, like you got to crush the
- 18:39Speaker 2: grapes and all that. So it's like do you just
- 18:40Speaker 2: go to Napolo and say, okay, I want you know,
- 18:43Speaker 2: I'll take you three whole freights of wine.
- 18:48Speaker 3: They like how they do it?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Like, is it like a wholesaler that's wine and just
- 18:52Speaker 2: sells it to different companies and then they just label it.
- 18:55Speaker 6: We got tanks man, we got tanks. They don't do
- 18:57Speaker 6: the stepping on wine with your feet no more.
- 19:00Speaker 2: A newer process. But you know, like I said, you
- 19:03Speaker 2: got to go sit. I went to go sit with them.
- 19:04Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Of course you have to get your license and stuff
- 19:06Speaker 3: like that. That's another thing.
- 19:08Speaker 6: You know, your first first start off with my California license.
- 19:11Speaker 6: You know, that's the first thing. Everybody that sells adult beverages.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Really, no matter even if it's a dope beverage with
- 19:17Speaker 3: whatever you is, you want to tap into California first.
- 19:20Speaker 3: So I have to take care of that first.
- 19:22Speaker 2: After that, I went from state to state to state,
- 19:25Speaker 2: the state to state, the state, the state states all.
- 19:27Speaker 6: These years, That's what I've been doing. People don't know
- 19:29Speaker 6: why why we have it? I here now I just
- 19:31Speaker 6: signed this a major distribution company. I just Scientist national
- 19:35Speaker 6: distribution deal with Southern places Wine e Spirits.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Now everyone will start seeing you know, at least forty
- 19:43Speaker 2: one states for now, forty one states.
- 19:45Speaker 6: That's a lot for a man that owns his own brand.
- 19:49Speaker 6: You understand me, one, you feel me. So that's that's
- 19:54Speaker 6: that's how it unfolded. Then you got to go you
- 19:56Speaker 6: know what I'm saying, you start from. You gotta know
- 19:59Speaker 6: some You gotta ask questions. All this stuff was not easy,
- 20:02Speaker 6: and I make it look easy.
- 20:04Speaker 4: You know.
- 20:04Speaker 3: You gotta find out, Okay, who is the best person
- 20:06Speaker 3: to go do my packaging? You know?
- 20:09Speaker 6: So if you look at my packaging, I ain't gonna
- 20:11Speaker 6: get no just anybody. This is somebody that actually does
- 20:14Speaker 6: packaging from major h adult beverage companies, several of them,
- 20:20Speaker 6: some that you.
- 20:21Speaker 2: May have may not, may may not have heard of.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Some you've heard of several times, you know what I'm saying.
- 20:26Speaker 2: So and I have him. I had that company do
- 20:28Speaker 2: all my my, my, my packaging.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Then you got different manufacturers. You got your wine manufacturers,
- 20:35Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying. Then you got your distilled
- 20:38Speaker 6: disteled liquor. You know what I'm saying, which is my
- 20:40Speaker 6: hurricane Hurricane, my coypra belt, stuff like that. Then you
- 20:43Speaker 6: got your sparklings. That's a whole other facility. These are
- 20:46Speaker 6: these are pieces and puzzles that I put together. Then
- 20:49Speaker 6: I go to Then you got last Goomxico. You know
- 20:51Speaker 6: the distillery out there from my equad Into tequila, the
- 20:54Speaker 6: Blanco Repo and the nail.
- 20:56Speaker 3: You understand me as soon to be extra in nail
- 20:58Speaker 3: with the tall bottle.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Then you got your you know, then then you got
- 21:03Speaker 2: your coniac, you know, your tycoon coniac from from Corneac, France,
- 21:07Speaker 2: my VS and my vs O P and.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Then I assume to be XO. You understand me. So
- 21:12Speaker 4: it's just so.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Many things and you gotta be focused, you gotta be
- 21:15Speaker 2: dial in you.
- 21:16Speaker 6: This ain't This is a real business. It's lucrative and
- 21:19Speaker 6: and it ain't. It ain't built you.
- 21:20Speaker 4: You can't. Everybody ain't built for it. Man.
- 21:22Speaker 6: I'm built for this because I've been on my entrepreneur
- 21:25Speaker 6: you understand me ever since I was about four.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Hello, yes, I mean.
- 21:31Speaker 3: A fet fetcher, a real feti fetcher. So all I've
- 21:35Speaker 3: heard is that you're super involved. So you're actually taking
- 21:37Speaker 3: trips to Mexico. You're actually taking trips to fans, Yes, sir.
- 21:41Speaker 7: When you get to these places, are you like sampling
- 21:44Speaker 7: tasting and saying you know what, nah, this needs something else?
- 21:46Speaker 3: Like what's the process like when you take these trips?
- 21:51Speaker 4: You know, I haven't had to do it too many times?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Like you know, well, I lock it in and then
- 21:54Speaker 2: you've then from there you send it samples, you sent samples.
- 21:57Speaker 6: Okay, we find tuning it. We're making sure every that
- 22:02Speaker 6: we're doing blind taste. We tasting them against other brands.
- 22:06Speaker 6: You know, it's called blind tasting or you don't know
- 22:09Speaker 6: which one you sip it. There's been times I've tasted
- 22:11Speaker 6: my coniac and my Pottners. They was right here at
- 22:14Speaker 6: this bar when I put this together, like the weather,
- 22:17Speaker 6: you understand me right here sitting here, and we was
- 22:19Speaker 6: drinking that. But I'm not gonna say no names of
- 22:22Speaker 6: the Coniacs, but you can imagine the cony Acs that
- 22:25Speaker 6: I had the blind taste with and everybody said, everybody
- 22:28Speaker 6: they didn't even know what they was tasting.
- 22:30Speaker 4: It was mine. Mine was the best period, you know.
- 22:34Speaker 6: So and that's the same with my tequila and all
- 22:36Speaker 6: the other brands I got.
- 22:39Speaker 7: Yeah, so I want to go back just a little bit.
- 22:41Speaker 7: You said Southern gladi is obviously that that's the largest
- 22:44Speaker 7: wine and spirits distributed in the country. Yeah, how did
- 22:46Speaker 7: that connection happen? Because that is the process where you're
- 22:49Speaker 7: now going into the retail space and they're putting on ourselves.
- 22:51Speaker 3: So how did you can act with them? That's for me.
- 22:55Speaker 6: So so basically I was a I was with a
- 23:01Speaker 6: company called Landy Koniac as a brand ambassador for about
- 23:04Speaker 6: a year or two, right.
- 23:06Speaker 4: And actually Landy they out of France.
- 23:09Speaker 6: They needed somebody and I got this excuse me, I
- 23:12Speaker 6: got this plug from my from when I had my
- 23:17Speaker 6: my from my mammnessa that had to be hive and
- 23:20Speaker 6: had he also had. He was also my business partner
- 23:24Speaker 6: at the ambassador's lounge in San Jose. And so you know,
- 23:27Speaker 6: when you're dealing with clubs, you know a lot of
- 23:29Speaker 6: bartend you know a lot of liquor companies.
- 23:32Speaker 3: So this liquor company, Landy, was like, hey, we need
- 23:34Speaker 3: to we need.
- 23:35Speaker 6: Somebody to help us get this out there in the
- 23:37Speaker 6: United States because they were just in France, you know
- 23:40Speaker 6: what I'm saying.
- 23:40Speaker 4: So and so we need you know, we need a
- 23:42Speaker 4: better look.
- 23:43Speaker 6: And he was my Manvanessa was like, you know we
- 23:45Speaker 6: need I got eat forty and they hooked me up.
- 23:48Speaker 6: So they came down. We had a meeting and then
- 23:50Speaker 6: they was like, can you get Snoop? So I called Snoop,
- 23:53Speaker 6: put Snoop in motion with it, me and Snoop snoop
- 23:55Speaker 6: and rocket for years. You know, you gotta realize this,
- 23:56Speaker 6: like two thousand and two, two thousand and three, two
- 24:00Speaker 6: thousand and four, somewhere around there, you know what I'm saying,
- 24:02Speaker 6: Like many moons ago, you know. So that's when I
- 24:06Speaker 6: had my club. And then that's when Landy came. They
- 24:08Speaker 6: came around two thousand. They came around two thousand, hey,
- 24:14Speaker 6: something like that. Years later. Right, that's how I go.
- 24:17Speaker 6: I'm rewinding everything. So I got what Snoop Snooker came in.
- 24:20Speaker 6: We became brand ambassadors.
- 24:22Speaker 2: They didn't work social media like they should have, you know,
- 24:25Speaker 2: like they should have been able to do it.
- 24:27Speaker 6: And social media wasn't that big. They didn't have Instagram
- 24:30Speaker 6: back then. I don't think they had just got it in.
- 24:33Speaker 6: It was a few things. So anyway, they that didn't
- 24:35Speaker 6: work out. So what I did was when I did
- 24:39Speaker 6: my wine. My man Mike, he used to work for them.
- 24:43Speaker 6: He was like, I got a wine, got I got
- 24:45Speaker 6: a spot in Napa that would love to you could do,
- 24:48Speaker 6: build your wine from the ground up, all yours whatever.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Woof the wo. We put it together.
- 24:53Speaker 6: So he went from working at Landy to working at
- 24:55Speaker 6: this winery, you know what I'm saying.
- 24:57Speaker 4: So then we went from there to uh, when I said.
- 25:02Speaker 4: When I was selling it online. Remember I told you
- 25:04Speaker 4: that the demand got so big I had to hit
- 25:06Speaker 4: the retailers.
- 25:07Speaker 6: So in order for me to hit the retailer, I said,
- 25:09Speaker 6: let me have a meeting with my man, Steve Harton
- 25:12Speaker 6: over at Southern Gladis of wine Spears. So Steve, he
- 25:15Speaker 6: brought me in and I knew him from Landy, from
- 25:18Speaker 6: Landy Kneyac.
- 25:19Speaker 2: See that's what that's one thing about when you're brand ambassador.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So that's why I'm mad at none of these cats
- 25:23Speaker 2: is brand ambassadors. You can't be mad at them. They
- 25:26Speaker 2: getting their feet wet, They analyzing the game.
- 25:28Speaker 4: You know what I mean. That's what I did.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I sat back, you know what I mean. I was
- 25:30Speaker 2: a student of the game, and I soaked up the
- 25:32Speaker 2: game like a beach town, you know what I'm saying.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And I and I stayed with my connection. I told
- 25:37Speaker 2: Steve years before I was, before I got my own stuff.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I said, I'm gonna be back to holler at you man,
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna have my own stuff one day, you know,
- 25:44Speaker 2: I'm having my own stuff.
- 25:45Speaker 3: And I did bro and he accepted.
- 25:48Speaker 4: He came in.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I taste.
- 25:49Speaker 6: At that time, I only had three s k's. I
- 25:51Speaker 6: just had the uh, the function red Blend, the moscato
- 25:53Speaker 6: and the mango Scholar.
- 25:54Speaker 3: That's all I had.
- 25:56Speaker 6: I brought the slurri Ken in later, like about a
- 25:58Speaker 6: year or two after. But when I brought on me
- 26:00Speaker 6: and he tasted them, he was like, let's go. I
- 26:01Speaker 6: showed them to our own line sales.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Let's go. I started off with a palette.
- 26:06Speaker 6: I got my palate, went to the first palette, went
- 26:09Speaker 6: to uh uh Food for Less in Vale, California at
- 26:13Speaker 6: the time, Food for Less. And then after that, everybody
- 26:17Speaker 6: they took I took a picture. They took a picture
- 26:19Speaker 6: and sent it to me. I posted it online. Everybody
- 26:22Speaker 6: was like, oh my god, food for that just got it.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Woo we move.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Everybody else started calling Costco all the stories, all the retailers,
- 26:28Speaker 6: all the on premise, off premise, Unsteady, the general market,
- 26:34Speaker 6: the clubs, everybody, they was all they wanted all my product.
- 26:37Speaker 3: They wanted that. They wanted the red wine.
- 26:39Speaker 2: They want the muscatto and the mango scott and the
- 26:41Speaker 2: mango Scotto was a big hit off top and it
- 26:43Speaker 2: still is.
- 26:44Speaker 6: It's it's in the class by itself. It's one of
- 26:46Speaker 6: one and I just took it there. Bro So anyway,
- 26:52Speaker 6: so then next thing, you know, uh my man, the
- 26:56Speaker 6: guy that's in charge of my portfolio over at Slept
- 26:59Speaker 6: Southern Glad, his name is Kevin.
- 27:01Speaker 2: So Kevin was like, Earl, we're gonna see you. You're
- 27:03Speaker 2: gonna bring in We're gonna bring in a truckload one day.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Watch.
- 27:06Speaker 6: I say, well, what's the truckload? He said, twenty one palace.
- 27:09Speaker 6: I say twenty one palace.
- 27:11Speaker 4: He said yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I say, that's a hell of them right there. He said, yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 2: that's a truckload.
- 27:15Speaker 6: It's fifty six cases to a palette and it's twelve
- 27:18Speaker 6: twelve bottles and in a case.
- 27:21Speaker 4: So you know what I'm saying, you bring it in
- 27:23Speaker 4: a truckload.
- 27:24Speaker 6: You're gonna bring it. He really broke. I really brought
- 27:26Speaker 6: it in a truckload. He said, we come to pick
- 27:27Speaker 6: up a truckload, serve that shit all through California, because
- 27:32Speaker 6: it's two branches in California. You got your you got
- 27:34Speaker 6: your Northern California, then you got Southern California chapters of
- 27:38Speaker 6: Southern Gladies of Wader Spears. So then they ordered a
- 27:41Speaker 6: truckload Southern California. You feel me. So that's how I went.
- 27:44Speaker 6: Then that from there it just started cooking. So I'll
- 27:46Speaker 6: started getting license each state, slowly but surely, bro.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And that's that's how I get excited when I talk
- 27:51Speaker 2: about this, because really remarkable and incredible, and I'm very
- 27:55Speaker 2: grateful and thankful and shout out to all my fans
- 27:57Speaker 2: who've been having my back.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Like a massousse for sure.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Shell.
- 28:02Speaker 4: So all right, so being.
- 28:03Speaker 2: One hundred percent on you're owning one hundred percent, does
- 28:09Speaker 2: that mean that all of the finance, like how you
- 28:11Speaker 2: finding Are you financing everything out of your pocket since
- 28:13Speaker 2: you don't have any business partners or do you have
- 28:17Speaker 2: bank financing? Because if us financing and out of my
- 28:20Speaker 2: own pocket, then once once that happens, it's.
- 28:23Speaker 6: A well oiled machine, it pays for itself. You know,
- 28:26Speaker 6: you got to continue to buy product, you understand me.
- 28:29Speaker 6: You got to make sure that you got some terms involved,
- 28:31Speaker 6: whether it's thirty sixty, ninety one, twenty, you understand me,
- 28:34Speaker 6: so that you can flip your money in time. You
- 28:36Speaker 6: know what I'm saying. You know I get paid every
- 28:38Speaker 6: thirty days, man, you feel me. Sometime I might get
- 28:40Speaker 6: seven or eight checks in one day. Every day for
- 28:42Speaker 6: a whole week. It just go like that because different
- 28:45Speaker 6: people putting in different pos and we invoicing different distributors,
- 28:50Speaker 6: different distributors here and there every time, you know what
- 28:52Speaker 6: I'm saying. So that's how it really happened. It really
- 28:55Speaker 6: unfolds like this. So like I said, man, this is
- 28:59Speaker 6: it's more to I. I just feel like, you know,
- 29:05Speaker 6: I tapped into something that I love to do anytime
- 29:07Speaker 6: you're do it like you guys love to do what
- 29:09Speaker 6: you guys are doing right, So you do because you
- 29:12Speaker 6: wouldn't be doing it and looking like y'all have fun
- 29:13Speaker 6: doing it. I have fun doing this. I have fun
- 29:17Speaker 6: doing music. I have fun cooking. I got food products coming,
- 29:20Speaker 6: I got I have fun doing doing startup company.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I'll do it all you feel me.
- 29:26Speaker 2: So I want to get to the I want to
- 29:27Speaker 2: get to the Angel investment. Before that, let's let's take
- 29:30Speaker 2: a hip hop moment. So you you've you've started a
- 29:34Speaker 2: lot of trends and people might not be aware of a.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Lot of language, a lot of slags.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Your favorite ra.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Yolo, that's the model, that's the model yolo. Like so

- 30:26Speaker 6: So I just put my own ship to ship. You
- 30:28Speaker 6: know what I'm saying. I make up a lot of stuff.
- 30:30Speaker 6: Don't get a twisted but a lot of stuff I
- 30:31Speaker 6: do get from the soils.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Not no rappers like the soils. And if I do
- 30:36Speaker 2: get it from a rapper, I always get that rap.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That rapper some dapper. You know what I'm saying. I
- 30:40Speaker 2: always let him know, like my putting like such and

- 31:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 31:15Speaker 6: But but I am a unique person in as far
- 31:18Speaker 6: as this rap game. When it comes slang, it's me.
- 31:20Speaker 6: Everybody know that hands down, that's a sack, that's a physic.
- 31:27Speaker 2: You feel like that so Yolo thing was just so

- 31:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Yola mean, Yola.
- 31:54Speaker 6: Mean nasal Caddy made the yellow mean globa.
- 31:58Speaker 3: You know that's that's Yola. That's what we call.
- 32:02Speaker 6: That's what we call white lobster. You understand me. You
- 32:07Speaker 6: know what I'm saying. I'm trying to talk over you.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Know what I said.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I'm trying to throw the twist and the thing you did.
- 32:12Speaker 2: So it's just another word for that. Yeah, y'all you
- 32:16Speaker 2: feel me. I thought yo, because he did say, like
- 32:19Speaker 2: pea mac dremna do for the bag.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I think it was it was how much I saw that.
- 32:25Speaker 2: He had.
- 32:26Speaker 6: He was just showing a homage to mac dre on that. No, Yo,
- 32:29Speaker 6: the word yo yolo is not me. I'm Yola.
- 32:33Speaker 3: You understand me.

- 32:46Speaker 2: feel like you know, like you you just when you're
- 32:48Speaker 2: speaking of the bed used to speaking a forty, You
- 32:50Speaker 2: speaking forty like he's like the king of the bag.
- 32:55Speaker 2: So how is it coming from a smaller town? Did
- 32:58Speaker 2: you ever get any pushback from Oakland or being that
- 33:01Speaker 2: you wasn't from Oakland? But I feel like you still
- 33:03Speaker 2: get associated with Oakland, like I mean like forty, like
- 33:06Speaker 2: it's all a Bay area. Like, how was that coming up. Well,
- 33:09Speaker 2: what it is in Oakland, we got so many I
- 33:12Speaker 2: got family in Oakland. I got so many potners from
- 33:14Speaker 2: the streets. And all my partners from the streets know
- 33:16Speaker 2: the beep be in Oakland. Like we we connect like
- 33:20Speaker 2: even the V, which is we call Valayl the V,
- 33:23Speaker 2: the V and Richmond. You know what I'm saying, We
- 33:25Speaker 2: like we close like all of us. We all know
- 33:28Speaker 2: pitners and shit like that. And so being from the streets,
- 33:31Speaker 2: you know, we all knew a lot of I knew
- 33:33Speaker 2: a lot of people from Oakland.
- 33:34Speaker 6: A lot of people knew my my crew, you know

- 33:54Speaker 6: We was ambitious and and and you know we knew,
- 33:57Speaker 6: we knew we had talent.
- 33:58Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 33:59Speaker 2: And I'm not just saying me, I'm talking about the
- 34:01Speaker 2: whole b. I can go on and on and on
- 34:02Speaker 2: and on and on and on and down. The lift
- 34:04Speaker 2: of so many great rappers from Valail.
- 34:07Speaker 3: But her, yeah, who was that her?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, hell yeah yeah, her doing her things. She's
- 34:16Speaker 2: straight from the feet too, and she read. She let
- 34:18Speaker 2: people know she's from You understand me.
- 34:22Speaker 6: I love that because we are small now. You know,
- 34:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna be honest with you, bro. People like Confunction,
- 34:28Speaker 6: uh myself, Matt Dre, the Click, you know many others
- 34:33Speaker 6: we made c C. Sabathia. Uh you know what I'm saying.
- 34:36Speaker 6: People like that, We her, you.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Know, it's so many bro, we made it you know,
- 34:41Speaker 2: really uh really good to say I'm from Valaale with
- 34:45Speaker 2: your chests out like you understand me, like you ain't
- 34:47Speaker 2: you you know it's the V like we.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Made it good to be from Valayale. Everybody scream that
- 34:54Speaker 6: now when you're from the F I'm from Valale. I
- 34:56Speaker 6: ain't from nowhere else. I'm from the V. You understand me.
- 35:00Speaker 6: We made They accepted us, Oakland, all the other cities
- 35:03Speaker 6: accepted us because we all rocked together.
- 35:05Speaker 4: That's what we do. You feel me?
- 35:08Speaker 7: So you know what is that when we were just
- 35:10Speaker 7: talking about I'm glad that you brought him up because
- 35:13Speaker 7: people forget how legendary he was. But for us growing up,
- 35:16Speaker 7: it was I feel like, especially in the East Coast,
- 35:18Speaker 7: it was like I ain't Wrap, but I would be
- 35:20Speaker 7: who was who said that?
- 35:21Speaker 3: Like play with him if you want here, gonna bust.
- 35:22Speaker 6: Your ass like like outside of Wrap Street.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he's by far not no suck at all.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I ain't no sucking man. Just because he wore you know,
- 35:35Speaker 2: baggy pants when he danced. You know that was You
- 35:38Speaker 2: gotta remember that was thirty five years ago. You know
- 35:40Speaker 2: that's okay, that's that. Don't mean that don't make you
- 35:43Speaker 2: a break you man. Let me tell you something, man,
- 35:45Speaker 2: A square would beat your ass.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I'm not calling a.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Hammer a square. I'm just saying a square will beat
- 35:51Speaker 6: your ass. You can you know what I'm saying.
- 35:53Speaker 2: You just are that quiet person that don't bother nobody
- 35:56Speaker 2: with the wonders on you boy, You know what I'm saying,
- 36:01Speaker 2: blenders on you.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Mix you up real good. You feel me.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Everybody that's watching in the huddle, seeing them seeing this sweat,
- 36:12Speaker 2: whoever square is, and you know in this bully trying
- 36:15Speaker 2: to bully him. Man a bully man. Bullies get bull get.
- 36:18Speaker 6: Get the ass kicked all the fucking time, and just
- 36:21Speaker 6: always remember it's always somebody out there tougher than you.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Don't give a fuck how many hot ones you got
- 36:25Speaker 6: up under your belt, there's somebody that got plenty more.
- 36:28Speaker 6: And what I mean by hot ones is bodies. You
- 36:31Speaker 6: feel me, it's always somebody tougher than you. Trust that
- 36:35Speaker 6: buddy anyway. But Hammer Hammer is a great guy man,
- 36:38Speaker 6: you know, that's the big bro. And anybody got something
- 36:41Speaker 6: bad to say about him, it's just you know it
- 36:44Speaker 6: hain't come with the plate, you know what I'm saying.
- 36:46Speaker 6: And you know, I think you appreciated him and after
- 36:49Speaker 6: because they realized how many people he put on and
- 36:52Speaker 6: how much all that.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Man, it's because you file bank reps. It don't mean
- 36:57Speaker 4: that you broke.
- 36:58Speaker 6: Just know that job protecting your businesses, your LLCs, your escort,
- 37:02Speaker 6: whatever you got going on, your personal you know, uh,
- 37:06Speaker 6: you know your personal state stuff like that.
- 37:08Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 37:09Speaker 2: And so you know this man, you know when he
- 37:13Speaker 2: when he when he filed for that, you gotta remember
- 37:16Speaker 2: how many people he was taking care of.
- 37:17Speaker 6: His crew was about fifty people all get per diem
- 37:21Speaker 6: and ship. When he eat they gotta eat like hotels
- 37:24Speaker 6: all this. You know what I'm saying me, he was man,
- 37:27Speaker 6: he did a great job man worldwide. He did his thing,
- 37:30Speaker 6: and so you know, and right now to this day,
- 37:32Speaker 6: people you know you can you can pocket watch the
- 37:35Speaker 6: motherfucker pockets. You never know what Hammer got because he
- 37:37Speaker 6: ain't broke. Don't get it fucked up. He's backing all
- 37:40Speaker 6: kinds of shit. You know what I'm saying that.
- 37:42Speaker 3: I mean, he's a legend.
- 37:44Speaker 7: He had to remember when he went on. He was
- 37:45Speaker 7: like one of the first dudes to get a deal
- 37:47Speaker 7: with Pepsi. He had his own cartoon, I.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Think Taco Bell. He did a bunch of stuff, man.
- 37:53Speaker 7: I think it's That's why I brought it up, because
- 37:55Speaker 7: it's very interesting to see a big legend look at
- 37:58Speaker 7: him obviously another big legend and still give them homage
- 38:01Speaker 7: at the time where it was like him, is that real?
- 38:04Speaker 3: But that's dope. Though I appreciate that.
- 38:06Speaker 6: I used to see Hammer coming out of Felton Pilot
- 38:08Speaker 6: Studio when I'm coming out of me be Legiti and
- 38:11Speaker 6: d Shot and Sugar, when we're coming out of Felton
- 38:13Speaker 6: Pilot Studio and James Early Studio out there on Solano
- 38:17Speaker 6: Sonoma Boulevard and defeat hammer would be coming in and
- 38:21Speaker 6: he always treated us cool.
- 38:23Speaker 3: What something waiting? Woo woom woop him.
- 38:25Speaker 6: And his crew coming in with truth jackets and shit,
- 38:27Speaker 6: and we're like, oh this hammer man, what's up man?
- 38:29Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. And he going in for
- 38:31Speaker 4: his for his studio session, you know what I'm saying.
- 38:34Speaker 6: So you know, it was always love man, he always
- 38:37Speaker 6: and that's when we just like some little dudes on
- 38:38Speaker 6: the total pole. You know what I'm saying. We ain't
- 38:40Speaker 6: dead yet, you know what I'm saying. We recording, So
- 38:44Speaker 6: he always been solid, not salad. And I hope that
- 38:47Speaker 6: other rappers pay homage to other rappers in the future,
- 38:50Speaker 6: you know what I mean, Because that's the thing. People
- 38:52Speaker 6: don't want to give up, no doubt. They think that
- 38:54Speaker 6: they're gonna be on forever.
- 38:56Speaker 3: You know.
- 38:57Speaker 6: Uh, some of some of the some of the youngsters,
- 38:59Speaker 6: some of the older ones, like a lot of older
- 39:01Speaker 6: rappers from my class, you.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Know, they just they kind of got they didn't keep
- 39:06Speaker 2: their foot on the gas. You know, you gotta keep
- 39:08Speaker 2: you can't never get, you can't never be relaxed. And
- 39:10Speaker 2: another thing don't call nobody. And I'm not saying everybody
- 39:14Speaker 2: know I'm a half a hundred man, but I carry
- 39:16Speaker 2: it well. Man, you know I said I'm the best.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I'm the best thing since the washing machine.
- 39:19Speaker 3: You did, you know, but but but but I'm just.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Saying, don't say oh man he oh, cause nigga in
- 39:26Speaker 2: a few months, niggas in a few years and five
- 39:29Speaker 2: six years.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Ago about down the line, nigga you old to the
- 39:31Speaker 3: to the new rappers.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Nigga, you feel what I'm saying, like it just go
- 39:35Speaker 2: like that, you know, So stop saying don't say that.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Don't say that because nigga, You're gonna be ancient one day.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Nigga.
- 39:42Speaker 4: But see if you can see if you can you know,
- 39:44Speaker 4: have that longevity. That's the thing.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Now, I feel like we're like the only culture that
- 39:49Speaker 2: looks down or old. But it's like it's a blessing
- 39:52Speaker 2: to become elder, Like being an elder is actually a
- 39:55Speaker 2: blessing and to grow old as a blessing. And like
- 39:57Speaker 2: we always referenced that. But that's a huge line that
- 40:00Speaker 2: she Gluke said, You're gonna be older a lot longer
- 40:02Speaker 2: than you're gonna be younger.
- 40:03Speaker 3: That's just the fact.
- 40:04Speaker 2: So it's like even with hip hop music, you know
- 40:07Speaker 2: a lot of times we devalue the legends and the
- 40:11Speaker 2: people that come before because it's like, oh, they're old.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Like how does that devalue the music? That's like saying
- 40:16Speaker 2: Diana Ross, No, not even even R and B, like jazz,
- 40:23Speaker 2: every every other genre of music is still celebrated.
- 40:26Speaker 3: How do you feel about that?
- 40:27Speaker 2: Like, I feel like it's starting to change now, But
- 40:29Speaker 2: like Na's winning the Grammy. Shout out to Escort, like
- 40:32Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, that's dope to see
- 40:33Speaker 2: him win a Grammy after all these years he should
- 40:35Speaker 2: have been one one.
- 40:35Speaker 3: But get about that. How do you feel about that?
- 40:38Speaker 6: Seasoned veterans are getting more money than ever, getting more popular.
- 40:43Speaker 4: I'm probably bigger than I ever been in these days.
- 40:46Speaker 6: And then I'm older now, you know, I mean, I'm
- 40:48Speaker 6: you know, like I said, I'm a half a century
- 40:50Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying. Plus you did, and so
- 40:54Speaker 6: you know, I think that now that that that world
- 40:57Speaker 6: old was hanging around for a while, Like when I
- 40:59Speaker 6: turned forty, they're like, oh he oh, I didn't think
- 41:01Speaker 6: I was that. People thought I wasn't I was gonna
- 41:04Speaker 6: stop after that. But it's like, ain't no limit to
- 41:06Speaker 6: this because I ain't slacking in my mac and on
- 41:08Speaker 6: my on my microphone candy the way I spin it,
- 41:12Speaker 6: You understand me. I'm not like, ain't nothing ancient about me?
- 41:15Speaker 3: I don't.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I don't look ancient. I don't carry myself ancient.
- 41:18Speaker 3: You know?
- 41:20Speaker 4: You know.
- 41:20Speaker 2: And as long as you you got to turn with
- 41:22Speaker 2: the times, are the times gonna turn on you?
- 41:24Speaker 6: When you when you want to keep your vintageless, you
- 41:28Speaker 6: can you You're able to do that if you kind
- 41:30Speaker 6: of like keep your eye on the ball and find
- 41:33Speaker 6: a happy medium to rap over certain beats, you know,
- 41:36Speaker 6: like I like my song I stand on that with
- 41:39Speaker 6: joining Lucas and t I.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Y'all go listen to that.
- 41:42Speaker 2: See the sick ass gas I got on that every floor,
- 41:46Speaker 2: wrote everything to it, you understand me. Matter of fact,
- 41:49Speaker 2: I was the one who started to flow off. Then
- 41:52Speaker 2: I sent it to Joiner. Joiners say, fouty, nigga, you
- 41:55Speaker 2: killed this ship, and they made Joiner evencome harder, even
- 41:58Speaker 2: though he already hard did TI I? Then then we
- 42:00Speaker 2: said to to t I, TI I got a hold
- 42:03Speaker 2: to it and killed that ship. So it's like I
- 42:04Speaker 2: set the bar. You know what I'm saying. My verse
- 42:07Speaker 2: set the bar for out mind was first, I let
- 42:09Speaker 2: Joiner go. Joiner went first. You understand me.
- 42:11Speaker 6: Joyner killed that ship. He got a cold fan base
- 42:13Speaker 6: and he got that's a cold man right there. That's
- 42:16Speaker 6: gonna he's gonna be going down one of the greats.
- 42:18Speaker 6: Trust me when I tell you that. Anyway, I'm just
- 42:21Speaker 6: saying that you gotta be versatile.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 42:22Speaker 6: You gotta turn with the times or the time's gonna
- 42:24Speaker 6: turn on you. But you gotta also beat you. And
- 42:27Speaker 6: that's me you did.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Let's let's get this Angel invest In conversation. So all right,
- 42:33Speaker 2: you have an impressive portfolio of companies that you have
- 42:37Speaker 2: invested in, one in particular that people might have hurt

- 46:12Speaker 6: And partner Supreme Syndicate, Supreme Partners Syndicate with me.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Chamillionaire, Big Boy, Trey Songs, many others.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Right, we got one syndicate and we've done we've done
- 46:32Speaker 2: that same thing a few times.
- 46:34Speaker 6: So ended up being you know right now as of
- 46:38Speaker 6: right now. Like my man Chamillionaire, he could have brought
- 46:41Speaker 6: the whole syndicate. He could have got in Clubhouse two,
- 46:44Speaker 6: but you know they would have had him. He didn't
- 46:47Speaker 6: want to leave out the whole syndicate. My my my
- 46:51Speaker 6: personal relationship. Uh you know how I got in with
- 46:54Speaker 6: Clubhouse was my own situation.
- 46:56Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, because you know, when you
- 47:01Speaker 2: when you move around and you because it's all about
- 47:04Speaker 2: it's not it's all about networking.
- 47:06Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 47:07Speaker 4: And if you're around certain people, things like that.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Happen to you.
- 47:14Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. You know, and it ain't
- 47:16Speaker 4: it ain't uh, it ain't.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Uh.
- 47:18Speaker 6: It ain't about who you know. It's who know you.
- 47:22Speaker 6: You did what I'm saying, That's what it's about. It's
- 47:24Speaker 6: about who know you?
- 47:26Speaker 3: You know.
- 47:26Speaker 4: So anyway to make a long story short and short story.
- 47:29Speaker 6: Long, I had got into me like.
- 47:34Speaker 4: I'm in so many startups like I'm just waiting.
- 47:37Speaker 3: We just wait.
- 47:38Speaker 4: You know, you kick back because it's a dice game,
- 47:41Speaker 4: you know, you rolling the dice. And you know, just
- 47:44Speaker 4: that one.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Company that you think ain't gonna be the one that
- 47:48Speaker 2: you ain't even studying.
- 47:49Speaker 4: You know most school. I mean, I ain't studying that one.
- 47:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, That one you ain't even studying, right,
- 47:55Speaker 2: can end up being the one that golf of you know,
- 47:58Speaker 2: three four five, you know, ten billion, you know what
- 48:02Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 48:03Speaker 6: And you put your imbles in that thing. You feel
- 48:05Speaker 6: me and next thing you know, you get that call
- 48:08Speaker 6: and you like it's time to drink up the whole
- 48:10Speaker 6: bar behind me.
- 48:12Speaker 3: You dig.
- 48:13Speaker 2: So this is what it is, this is what it's about.
- 48:18Speaker 2: So you know, uh, Clubhouse is a good one. You know,
- 48:21Speaker 2: Clubhouse is a good when I think that, uh many people.
- 48:26Speaker 6: It's a new platform audio platform for people to just
- 48:30Speaker 6: you know, get some game, you know, get some game
- 48:34Speaker 6: because you know, but everybody on Clubhouse, ain't that everybody?
- 48:38Speaker 6: That's that's all?
- 48:40Speaker 4: You know?
- 48:40Speaker 6: You got some You got people that really know the
- 48:42Speaker 6: business like you had. They had Eli on there. You're like,
- 48:44Speaker 6: must you know what I'm saying. They got real top
- 48:47Speaker 6: pats and taccoos on that motherfucker. You got some people
- 48:49Speaker 6: that just like like get on there and just talk
- 48:51Speaker 6: that ship like they just know everything. It ain't got
- 48:53Speaker 6: shit going on, but that's everything. That's Twitter, that's Instagram,
- 48:57Speaker 6: that's Facebook, that's all that shit. But club House is
- 49:00Speaker 6: the new the it's the platform.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 49:02Speaker 3: I can't see it going no other place.
- 49:04Speaker 6: It might be other companies that's out there that's trying
- 49:06Speaker 6: to probably duplicate it. I mean, have anybody duplicated Instagram yet?
- 49:11Speaker 3: You know, think about it? Oh no, So I'm wondering.
- 49:15Speaker 7: Obviously it's a club out started as a Silicon Valley
- 49:18Speaker 7: way for tech people to talk about ideas.
- 49:21Speaker 4: So were you close with.
- 49:23Speaker 7: A founder or somebody on the inside because it was
- 49:25Speaker 7: invite only at that time, how'd you come in contact
- 49:28Speaker 7: with it?
- 49:28Speaker 3: To apisode?
- 49:30Speaker 4: Just being around it?
- 49:31Speaker 6: Man, let me tell you some when you go, when
- 49:33Speaker 6: you when you call you, when you when you were
- 49:37Speaker 6: being people use a.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Trip like folks.
- 49:39Speaker 6: You know, somebody called me one day and say, photy,
- 49:42Speaker 6: hey man, who's your contact over at the Warriors?
- 49:45Speaker 4: Man?
- 49:45Speaker 3: How do you? Uh? You know, how would I get
- 49:47Speaker 3: complimentary seats? I'm like, I don't know.
- 49:50Speaker 6: I don't know, brother, what you mean complimentary? I don't
- 49:52Speaker 6: get complimentary sipts? Brother, I said, I pay for mine.
- 49:55Speaker 6: So while I'm.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Spending all that money getting these ceased, you understand me.
- 49:59Speaker 4: I'm from remote myself.
- 50:01Speaker 3: You know.
- 50:01Speaker 2: It's if you can't get you can't get no better marketing.
- 50:04Speaker 2: I'm court signed. I'm having the time of my life,
- 50:06Speaker 2: me and my wife. You understand me. I might bring
- 50:09Speaker 2: my partners, you know what I'm saying. You know, and
- 50:13Speaker 2: you know we were running into everybody, billionaires and all
- 50:17Speaker 2: kind of You understand me, don't you?
- 50:19Speaker 4: Just especially when you're a good person like me.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Man, I you know, you know I hugged folks, I
- 50:24Speaker 2: kissed you know, I kissed, I kissed the babies, you.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Know, shake hands, you know. Just I'm a loving person.
- 50:30Speaker 6: I'm a people's person. You understand me. So I'm the
- 50:33Speaker 6: you know, I'm the thrill of the party.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Man. When out when I stepped being, people gather around
- 50:36Speaker 2: me like a you understand me, like a tackle truck.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Hello. You know.
- 50:44Speaker 7: During those two thousand and six trip trip or referee, yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 7: it was called you chamelionaire.
- 50:49Speaker 3: I feel like them boll all, y'all. I mean you
- 50:51Speaker 3: could not.
- 50:51Speaker 2: But Eve forty was a staple because it was when
- 50:54Speaker 2: they was playing No No. It was like him ver
- 50:58Speaker 2: somebody and they was like it was when we when
- 51:02Speaker 2: we used to play Houston Travis Scott.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Now.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so them them dudes traps will be talking big brocco,
- 51:09Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, and ship like that. It's
- 51:11Speaker 2: like we are warriors. Don't wait, you feel me? So
- 51:15Speaker 2: camus my camevus my folks, so camps. I got cam
- 51:19Speaker 2: to come. He wouldn't he wasn't he Man, I don't
- 51:20Speaker 2: want to be all atribute on that. I said, I
- 51:23Speaker 2: know you low key man, but you know we in this,
- 51:25Speaker 2: we in this, we we in this tech world.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Bro.
- 51:28Speaker 4: This where it's at this where this this, this where.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Everybody at and you can have fun and you know
- 51:33Speaker 2: you're gonna be able to you know, promote your promote
- 51:38Speaker 2: yourself so they can see you on a you know,
- 51:40Speaker 2: when you when you see somebody course side, like when
- 51:43Speaker 2: I've seen top Dog top Dog from TV. I tell
- 51:46Speaker 2: top Dog this all the time. I wanted to see
- 51:48Speaker 2: him at the games and Clippers. You know, he'll be
- 51:51Speaker 2: over there with the TD hat just being hisself court side.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I'll call him top Dog. I see you, my guy.
- 51:57Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 51:58Speaker 3: I was choosed.
- 51:59Speaker 4: I it was joiced.
- 52:01Speaker 2: You know, so I imagine the people that seen me
- 52:03Speaker 2: several times sit right next.
- 52:05Speaker 4: To the Warriors bench.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Now me what you can bring up a good point
- 52:09Speaker 2: that I never really thought about before. But it's a
- 52:11Speaker 2: great marketing tool because even Chamelionaire, you know, when people
- 52:16Speaker 2: saw him courtside at that finals game and it was
- 52:20Speaker 2: like the tickets is like twenty thousand dollars. It was crazy,
- 52:22Speaker 2: and they like it was a joke of like yo,
- 52:24Speaker 2: his last hit was ten years ago. But then it
- 52:27Speaker 2: wasn't a joke anymore because now it started to come
- 52:29Speaker 2: out that he's been an Angel investor and he's invested
- 52:32Speaker 2: in all these different companies, and then ever since then
- 52:34Speaker 2: that kind of cemented him as like in the culture,
- 52:37Speaker 2: it's like, you know, a go to person as far
- 52:39Speaker 2: as like angel investing and all that. But that probably
- 52:41Speaker 2: would have never came out because he's real quiet. It
- 52:43Speaker 2: would have never really came out unless he was actually
- 52:47Speaker 2: at that game.
- 52:48Speaker 3: That one game that brought.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Up to the game I brought to the game. We
- 52:52Speaker 4: see when you when.
- 52:52Speaker 6: You a lot of times when you buy tickets, you
- 52:54Speaker 6: got to buy twos and threes, you understand me. So
- 52:58Speaker 6: you know, if it's a Houston am I say going
- 53:00Speaker 6: to get those two tickets, i'mnaly out there.
- 53:02Speaker 2: He'll buy them, and then I just pay him something
- 53:04Speaker 2: that I put in as a bank account. I'll just
- 53:05Speaker 2: give him, give him to him right there, check or whatever.
- 53:08Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying right then and there, and
- 53:09Speaker 6: I do the same when he said I'm gonna come
- 53:11Speaker 6: out there, going to give me to see.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Now I get in and then here reimburse me.
- 53:15Speaker 2: That's how you gotta do. You can't just go buy
- 53:16Speaker 2: one individual seats. That's very rare, especially to sit where
- 53:19Speaker 2: you want to sit court side. Then understand what I'm saying,
- 53:22Speaker 2: So he he was with you, that he was with.
- 53:23Speaker 3: You, Yeah, all the games when we was together. Yeah,
- 53:29Speaker 3: change the game. So we gotta have we gotta have course,
- 53:34Speaker 3: that's what I'm thinking, Like, we gotta be sitting the
- 53:35Speaker 3: courtside because not only.
- 53:36Speaker 7: Is it ad to, but it's a networking too, because
- 53:38Speaker 7: I said, you bumping shoulders with billionaires and millionaires and
- 53:43Speaker 7: the team will treats you like you part of the team.
- 53:45Speaker 2: I see everybody running over to you, especially if you're
- 53:47Speaker 2: in these cities like San Francisco, yeah, or Miami or
- 53:52Speaker 2: New York or you know like l A, Atlanta, Like
- 53:56Speaker 2: there's a lot of stuff going on and a lot
- 53:58Speaker 2: of movies and shakers in that in that.
- 53:59Speaker 3: Realm su stamp sustep you know what? That what I think?
- 54:03Speaker 3: Did it? It?
- 54:03Speaker 7: Actually I felt like after I saw a millionaire there,
- 54:06Speaker 7: then I felt like tech became a thing in the NBA.
- 54:08Speaker 3: And so now it turned me.
- 54:10Speaker 7: On to the knowledge that Andre Engadala had and it
- 54:13Speaker 7: was like, wait, this guy's digging the text space and
- 54:14Speaker 7: he's in the Warriors and then Steph got into the
- 54:16Speaker 7: text space and I was like, oh, okay, just from
- 54:18Speaker 7: seeing you guys.
- 54:19Speaker 3: There at the game, So that's dope.
- 54:20Speaker 7: So my question is, is there a criteria that you
- 54:23Speaker 7: have when you when you're looking for new businesses, new
- 54:26Speaker 7: startups to invest in.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Will you got it?
- 54:30Speaker 2: First of all, the main thing is it Cam taught
- 54:32Speaker 2: me this a long time ago.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Make sure that there's.
- 54:35Speaker 6: Some reptical people that's already in the investment, some people
- 54:38Speaker 6: that most likely have some experience in being in the
- 54:41Speaker 6: tech world, whether they're you know, starting it up, being
- 54:45Speaker 6: the you know, the owner of the particular app or
- 54:48Speaker 6: whatever it is, or the company you know what I'm
- 54:50Speaker 6: saying that you're getting into, or you know, just it
- 54:55Speaker 6: just has to be an idea, uh, something that has
- 54:58Speaker 6: changed the world. Because that's the West Wi too. We're
- 55:00Speaker 6: trying to be in the companies we're trying to get into.
- 55:03Speaker 6: Is something that changed the world, you understand me? And
- 55:07Speaker 6: and there's a there's a lot of them out there.
- 55:10Speaker 6: So getting in early.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Is always the best early stage, you know, it's always
- 55:15Speaker 3: the best I got we we Uh, people don't.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Even know I was in Ring. Me and Cam we
- 55:20Speaker 4: was in ring.
- 55:21Speaker 3: You know, we.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Was a ring.
- 55:25Speaker 6: We didn't get in early on that one, but we did.
- 55:29Speaker 6: You know, it's great from our portfolio, and we did well.
- 55:31Speaker 4: We did well.
- 55:32Speaker 6: We got in just a few months before they, you
- 55:35Speaker 6: know what I'm saying, got acquired. And but I wish
- 55:39Speaker 6: we would have got in earlier. Let me ask you,
- 55:43Speaker 6: a lot of companies like that that we.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Are in early you hit a lot of you had
- 55:47Speaker 2: a lot of artists that's getting into the text bage,
- 55:51Speaker 2: whether it's nives with Queensbridge Capitals.
- 55:54Speaker 3: I've been in it. I've been in it. J Z
- 55:57Speaker 3: Marshy uh Fincher or something like that.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Uh yeah, but put you you guys, Yeah, you have
- 56:05Speaker 2: a you have a syndicate.
- 56:06Speaker 3: This is interesting.
- 56:07Speaker 2: So right she said you clean their trade songs and
- 56:11Speaker 2: a few other people were big boy. So what's the
- 56:16Speaker 2: name of it and how did that come about? Like
- 56:18Speaker 2: how did that come about? As far as like putting
- 56:21Speaker 2: a syndicate together? Yeah, how'd that come about? Cam Camillionaire,
- 56:28Speaker 2: that's who, that's who.
- 56:29Speaker 3: That's who.
- 56:30Speaker 4: You know.
- 56:30Speaker 6: When I first got my you know, uh, when I
- 56:32Speaker 6: cut my gums into the tech world, you know, it was.
- 56:36Speaker 3: It was I mean Cam that woke my game up
- 56:38Speaker 3: to it, you know what I'm saying.
- 56:40Speaker 2: And and so he put the send syndicate together and
- 56:43Speaker 2: was like, and it's others too involved, you know, and
- 56:46Speaker 2: we all put our money in the pot.
- 56:48Speaker 3: We go for it. Mm hmm.
- 56:51Speaker 2: How do you do you have like a said amount
- 56:53Speaker 2: of deals that you try to get every year with
- 56:54Speaker 2: the syndicate or was it.
- 56:55Speaker 6: Just like we got we get updates every Cam give
- 56:58Speaker 6: us updates. Man, we in so many companies I won't
- 57:02Speaker 6: even reveal the.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Companies that we are in early stage and great companies,
- 57:06Speaker 2: companies that billionaires are in, like and you know, and.
- 57:13Speaker 6: You know, I let I let Cam. You know, do
- 57:16Speaker 6: he he's he's the one who driving the car because
- 57:19Speaker 6: he got that. He's focused this all he fold. He
- 57:22Speaker 6: don't want to even he want to do music. I
- 57:24Speaker 6: got a verse from him. I got a verse when
- 57:26Speaker 6: he came to the crib about a few months ago,
- 57:28Speaker 6: a few years ago, a couple of years ago. I
- 57:30Speaker 6: got a coal verse from him. I might put it out,
- 57:32Speaker 6: but he ain't even tripping on no music.
- 57:33Speaker 2: And Cam, you got to realize Kim never stopped doing
- 57:37Speaker 2: music when he was at the bottom.
- 57:39Speaker 4: He was already he was still on the top.
- 57:41Speaker 6: But he chose to, you know what I'm saying, This
- 57:43Speaker 6: boy chose to, you know, do do this other thing.
- 57:50Speaker 6: This thing you know that's still a Combe Valley thing,
- 57:52Speaker 6: this tech thing, this, you know what I'm saying.
- 57:54Speaker 4: So that's what he focused on.
- 57:56Speaker 6: And that's and I was like, man, I wish I
- 57:58Speaker 6: was in some of the ones he got early. Then
- 58:01Speaker 6: I would have listened, you know, But I you know,
- 58:04Speaker 6: a little bit before twenty sixteen.
- 58:05Speaker 4: So it's been five years.
- 58:07Speaker 3: I've been you know, I've been.
- 58:08Speaker 4: I've been. I've been on it.
- 58:09Speaker 6: And that's not bad from a dude from magazine Street
- 58:11Speaker 6: the thirteen hundred block.
- 58:13Speaker 4: You understand me, lay Hell, California, Maine.
- 58:16Speaker 3: You dig I think I'm taking notes.
- 58:18Speaker 7: So if I see the name Earl Stevens, I'm gonna
- 58:20Speaker 7: get Chamelionaires real name. If I see those people as
- 58:22Speaker 7: angel investors, probably a good space to get into.
- 58:25Speaker 4: But you won't see it.
- 58:27Speaker 3: All the sudden. Yeah.
- 58:28Speaker 2: Well that's like John Henry he told us with the
- 58:31Speaker 2: CAP tape, and he was like, if you see like
- 58:34Speaker 2: a sequoi Capital, Sequoia Capital is a real big player
- 58:36Speaker 2: in space. He's like, if you see like people like
- 58:38Speaker 2: this already in the in the company, that's like a green,
- 58:42Speaker 2: like that's like cold green, like go code, because you
- 58:45Speaker 2: already know that these people ain't They're not stupid, They're
- 58:47Speaker 2: not just gonna be to spend the money with nothing
- 58:50Speaker 2: interesting to you.
- 58:53Speaker 6: I got a shout out because I used to see
- 58:55Speaker 6: them at the games as well, being at Felicia Horwitz.
- 58:58Speaker 6: They yeah, Yo, they top Pats and this ship and
- 59:01Speaker 6: they you know, and they was days.
- 59:04Speaker 3: They always been cool. And you know when you greep
- 59:06Speaker 3: you see people like that, you know what I'm saying.
- 59:09Speaker 6: You meet people like that at the games, and you
- 59:12Speaker 6: know you're with the owners like I hang out with
- 59:15Speaker 6: I was hanging out with the owners at the games,
- 59:17Speaker 6: and you know, just a little bit of everybody in
- 59:20Speaker 6: the Silicon Valley world and being there, I mean, you know,
- 59:25Speaker 6: you're just around it.
- 59:26Speaker 3: How can you not get in it? You know? Now,
- 59:29Speaker 3: that's a fact.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Networking is extremely important, and especially if you are privileged
- 59:34Speaker 2: enough to have, you know, that type of access where
- 59:37Speaker 2: it's like a lot of artists, entertainers. I remember Floyd
- 59:40Speaker 2: said this once. He was like, you know, I hang
- 59:42Speaker 2: around the billionaires. He's like, it's not just good enough
- 59:44Speaker 2: for me to hang around a billionaire and put him
- 59:46Speaker 2: put me on his jet. I want to know how
- 59:49Speaker 2: did you get the jet? You can't bring me around
- 59:51Speaker 2: just as a token, you know what I'm saying, Entertainer,
- 59:54Speaker 2: that's like just my friend. Now, you got to actually
- 59:58Speaker 2: educate me, because if not, what am I here?
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: Like? Why why do we have a relationship?
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: What you got to ask? You? You're supposed to ask.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: Questions when you're around greatness and when you're around billionaires,
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: And however you want to say it. You know what
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: I say, it's because you have to be a student
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: of a gang. And a lot of times they don't
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: even have to teach you. You could just learn just
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: by being a student of a game, observing a lot
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: of in terms are millionaires because our billionaires because they
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: were student of the they were students of the gang.
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: They they kicked back and soaked up game like a
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: beach tab. And that's what you're supposed to do.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Do you guys have a.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Name for your syndicate or is it just like I
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: just do the prime partners partners?
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: I think I did see that. I like partners. I
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: like that.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Let me ask you this being from the Bay Area,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: we introduced somebody shout the Meal Bran. He's an actor
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: from Oakland. He was saying as far as like the
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: gentrification that's going on Cifical, he's from an Oakland but
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: like and he had a theory that like a lot
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: of the sports teams that's moving out of Oakland, that's
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: kind of like done intentionally to kind of like disrupt
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: the city, kind of bring them more round down a
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: little bit and then make way for gentifications. So what
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: is your thoughts because I would watching it, you know,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: I watch a lot of these documentaries and stuff like that,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: and I see that, you know, the Bay Area is
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: becoming heavily gentified, especially Oakland.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Because it's right next door, which is the highest.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: The highest real estate market in the country, even even
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: higher than Manhattan, and it's it's a very small area.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: So what is your thoughts on gentrification especially in the
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Bay Area? And what is your thoughts on sports teams
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: leaving the band? I know you're a huge sports fan,
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: so what is what's your thoughts on that? So you know, uh,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: you know, everybody won't you know.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Now we have.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Chase the Chase Center now in Frisco Warriors play, which
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: is a beautiful stadium, but we all wish it was
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: still at the.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: Oracle, you know, in Oakland, you know, because that's where
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: the great.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: Times we're at and those can be come back. But
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: the access to all of Oakland fans, they used to
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: be at them games, you know, they used to you know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: it was closer to get there. Now you got to
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: go over the bridge, and it's a lot of traffic
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: and this, that and the third.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: But that is what it is.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: And you know, you know, as we as todays go by,
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: we'll get used to it and you know, things to
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: get back, you know.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: But at the same time, gentrification.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: That's that's been happening for many years before we were
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: even born.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: You know, y'all know that, you.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Know what I mean, And it's it's it's crazy because
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: you know, if your pockets ain't all the way, like
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: like my house on Magazine Street, I remember, I checked
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: up on the house I.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: Grew up with, grew up on I mean grew up
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: in on Magazine Street on the thirteen hundred block.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: I remember that thing. In two thousand and nine, it
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: was like seventy seven thout.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Wole three bedroom, very small, very twelve hundred square feet
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: of some shit to total you know what I'm saying,
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: It was like seventy seven thout wound, right, and uh
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I looked at that thing. Now that thing's worth like
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: dan near half a ticket man. And it ain't nothing,
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: it ain't nothing big about it. Just held the trees
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: in front of it. Yes, stand what I'm saying. And
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: that's it.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: So it's like seventy seventh thout wound and now that
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: motherfucker up to half a ticket.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: So it's crazy. Even in the soils of trenches, the octagon,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: the smudge, it's still the same thing.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: You feel me now.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: They it's like it's the prices are so high, like,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: come on, man, it's a million dollars?
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: Really worth a million nowadays? No, it's about six hundred,
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: six hundred and thirty thou wou huh? Probably you know
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: they think about it, think about you know what I'm saying. Well,
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: you you're talking before. Don't buy eight thousand dollar talk
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: for you by house.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Don't do it. Don't do it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: Get you some property, man, Get you some property, and
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: it don't have to be a brand new home.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: You can take you could you could buy something cool,
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: you know, just something that you can fix up. A
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: lot of people got talents. They know how to you know,
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: refurbish and remodel homes. They can do it on your own.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: They might have an uncle, that's that's what they do
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: for a living to come do that ship for them.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, you're flipping house. I got
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: a few problems that flip houses.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Man. They doing well. Man.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: They their money is working for them.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Man, you know their money is working for their money.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: Man, you feel me.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: They this is a real wild machine, and real estate
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: is some of the best stuff you can get into.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: Always buy a proper piece of the earth. Man, that's
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: always yeah, that's always a plus.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Can we can we continue on with your diversification? What
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: are your passion? You know they maybe people know about
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: that is cooking the good fool himself?
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: Uh so, can we can we talk about your your
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: venture into the rest of our business with the company
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: or your company?
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Yeah? Man.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: So in the Bay Area, there's many, many, many, many
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: many Filipinos out here.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Many and we grew up with them.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: I mean I played sports with them with school Filipinos,
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: like some of my best friends is Filipino. Like, this
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: is just how it go man out here in the
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: baker we're very diverse in the Bay Area. You understand
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And you know, so I had an opportunity.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I always liked the Olympia. I used to always tell
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: my wife, you understand me. Since I was a young mustache,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I used always tell you know, we all love lumpey.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: I one day I want to get a company, you
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: know that sell lumpia.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: And I wanted to be either a walk up or
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: drive through, you know, because one day I wanted to
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: be a drive through.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Keep them, keep them menu limited. You understand me, and
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: just pull up. I want a twenty piece.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: I want a fifty piece and that's all you can
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: get a hundred that's the family size whatever.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: You understand me.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: So Woopia, lupia, lupia. Let me tell you what lupia is.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Lupia is like an egg row, but it's not an
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: egg bro It's a certain rap very known and the Filipinos,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: you know, you know this is a Filipino dish, and
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: you know traditional Olympias with pork. They got to shange
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: hai Oswell, they got pork beef. You know, you canna
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: do shrimp and pork like you know, we do non
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: traditional and we do traditional Olympia. We got you know,
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: we got Pepperoni piece Olympia. We have Philly cheese steak Olympia.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Like we go in boy
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: and they go crazy.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: We got my my Olympia mind is called the Earl Special,
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: which is ground turkey with veggies in it.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: You understand me. Yeah, And you fry it for four
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: minutes at three point fifty.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Get your grease and grease high three feet all you
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: can air fright, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: They don't take but a high second.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Main.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Then you understand me, and you get you different dippings
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: you use the main. The number one dip that can
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: fit any Olympia is the sweet Chili Sauce.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Was gonna say, I ran into that. The ta Chili
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: sauce is great on that. Yeah, exactly, my god. You know.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: So you know, and it's we're doing very very well
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: for one spot, small spot, but you know it's going
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: to be a franchise very soon. And I got connected
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: with my man Alex with Toto chef Alex from My My,
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: My guy E Rock, which is a DJ from the
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Bay Area. He he got one of the ease. He
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: gotta sick with the tattoo everything. You know, I watched
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: him grow up as a young as a youngster. You know,
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: you can find e Rock. You know, he about to
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: be back in Vegas. You know, find him up on
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: a you know, the big the big lights, the big
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: the big jumbo trons and the big billboards out there
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: and uh in uh in Las Vegas because he DJ's
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: out there, you know, along with you know DJ Francis,
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: you know DJ Francis Filipino too.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: So we've been around.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: We've been around these cats for many moons. But anyway,
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: make a long story short, DJ I was. I told
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: DJ e Rock, I said, I called him.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: I said, man, I need to get something walk get
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: some lompia, ad man, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: And he hooked me up with Alex. He said, Alix
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: had got me some ompia.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: It was phenomenal, you know what I'm saying. So from
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: then I was like, hey, man, let's let's let's let's
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: let's do some stuff.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: I love So you started a filipudo restaurant. Will He
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: started it and I came in. It was it was
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: a perfect match. And I came in, I put my
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: guda in.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: And and you know, and we and we was off
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: off to the races.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: The reason why I love that is because it's like
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: sometimes a lot of times Black people we get boxed
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: in like we can only do soul food.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: We can only do like.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: If somebody from Asian can have Kennedy's Fried Chicken and
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: sell us fried chicken, why can't we sell Asiano?
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: That's right, That's right.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: You know. So you know, along with the Olympia Company,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: also have the goon with the spoon. That's my handle,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: the goon with the spoon, you know, and I got
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: there's some soil ship. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: if you can you can imagine a dude from in
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: the trenches, you understand me fucking around with the spoon
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: and the gumbo pot. You did what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: you know, with the man, I got all kind of
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: dishes I make. Man, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: you know, hey, let me tell you something I done.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Had some of my chef partners say they say, man,
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: forty man, you got to cut it out. Man, I say,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: why would I do? He said?
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: He said, Man, they.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Say, my man, my wife was like you a chef
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: and the good I'm gonna sit up here looking at
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: forty page.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: And why you don't make this for me.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Because my food looked good? Man.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: I make food how I wanted, how I wanted to taste,
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: you know, and people, some people might say.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: Man, you're gonna eat all that food?
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: This that the third man. That's not man, Dude, I'm cooking. Man,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: you don't leave me alone. I'm mind your business.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Bro.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I don't even I don't go back for twos and
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: threes and thirds, even though my food that good.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: But I'm when you get older, you don't eat as
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: much as you used to.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: You know, when we was young, you know, our appetite
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: was sick, playing sports and shit, we'll go get three
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: and four back three or four times.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Here I come again.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You know the only thing
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: keep waiting on me. Man, it's just this adult beverages.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: That's how that's I'm really a skinny man inside. You
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, I'm really supposed to be skinny.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: I went to seventy five in high school dripping wet. Yes,
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: then what I'm.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Saying, then I ended up getting the ball er belly man.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Yes, thet me having that taste. And we be remiss
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: if we didn't mention this. But you you have your
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: your your own noodles, alumna massive.
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: You know what we got ready, as of course we
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: got the noodles the only way, the only way we
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: got the noodles.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: So so my man, so that's my man going on
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: for years.
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: Huh your so, so here's the deal. No, that's so,
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: here's the deal. My man p you know him and
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: my man James, they got rap snacks. They've been having
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: it for years, and so they wanted to do noodles.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: So they was like, I'm gonna do they want to call?
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: They wanted nothing but icons on there. So James had
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: asked peace, who you want to put on? He was
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: like people was like, man, put faulty on there. He say,
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: put a little boozy and put me You know what
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: I'm saying. And I love people for that, you know
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: what I'm saying. Like it's a lucrative situation too, you know,
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: So pe them that's them raps snacks. That's Master p
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: and my man James. You know what I'm saying. So hey,
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: I'm glad to be part of it.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: I have my own products coming out under the goon
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: with the spoon, So stay tuned.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: You should start seeing that pretty soon. It's not noodles,
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: I'm not. We're not in this for competition. We ended
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: to you know, broaden our you know, everything, our portfolio.
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: So I got other things coming in. More is mine
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: is more or less like.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Frozen foods and stuff like that.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Shit you could heat up in the microwave.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: And stuff like that. Yes, stand me, so stay tuned.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: You know, Like I.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: Got the goon with the spoon, that logo. It's a reason.
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: It's always a method for my madness when I'm cooking
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: all that kind of stuff. I'm just really pretty much
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: branding myself, showing people getting them subliminally, like when you
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: see a McDonald's sign.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Checked this out. My little niece many years ago, she
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: was with my mama. I'm in the car, me and
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: Mom's we in the car. We had it somewhere and
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: my niece's in the back seat. She ain't number one
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: years old. She can't she can barely talk. She see
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: the McDonald's sign. She like, eat eat, eat, eat, And.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Mom, I said, moms, what she talking about? She said,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: she see the McDonald She wants some French fries. She
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: see the McDonald's sign. She just seen the logo. That's all.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: That's all she knew. She just knew was that's what
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: she wanted to eat. So that's why I'm putting that
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: that logo goon with the spoon on all.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Every time I cook, you gonna see that goon with
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: the spoon logo.
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: Therefore, subliminally it's gonna be self subliminal in everybody's mind.

- 1:13:32Speaker 2: to actually, you know, meet him or anything like that.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: You see so many different personalities in one body. How

- 1:14:18Speaker 3: It's my brother, is my sister, and it is my cousin.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Be legit, you understand me.
